HONEYCOMB SUMMER // analysis

Ok, before getting into this, I'm warning y'all, I'm not good at analysis ( I did like 4-5 of them before, that it )

If anything wrong or you don't feel like that what it actually is, feel free to think differently.

This is some...most of my thoughts I pull out of my head then put it on here so... yeah, don't expect a "unable to communicate with other easily" to do much.

My English is a bit bad.

This analysis is long, like...HELL LONG. So pls do make some free time before reading.

Thank you for reading that! Now let's get into the real stuff, shall we?

Pls accept my sincere apologies, but before getting into the song, can we talk about the...the event story first?

The event that Honeycomb Summer came from is: Heat Haze ◆ Lingering Summer & Hot Limit

And after spending my dia like a rich ass kid just to unlock all the story ( I missed out the event ) and spend some time reading.

The story's mainly focus on Niki and Niki's past from when he first meets Rinne. But aside from that, it also highlights Rinne and Niki relationship.

LIKE, RINNE LITERALLY ASKS HIM FOR MARRIAGE. STOP- I CAN'T

And you maybe think, yeh, he was just joking around. No, no he's not. He did not joke that stuff around.

And I'm not telling you to believe that Rinne wants to marry Niki in a "marriage" way. I like you to know that Rinne's living a different life than other character and the one who is likely to understand it like him is Hiiro.

Who didn't get annoyed when Rinne called Aira his little "girlfriend".

The meaning of marriage is being viewed different here. It not the couple's rings, not the beautiful clothes nor was it about the wedding ceremony.

It's about the two getting to stay together legally, that their home is officially below to both and got admitted by everyone else, and that Rinne loves Niki in a way that he wishes to share the hardship with him.

Clue? IT'S EVERYWHERE in the event story and *talk with a shaky voice* Epilogue 4... Epilogue 4 shines the best out of it.

He, HE LITERALLY SAID: "I tried to tell him that if we got married, we would become family, so there was no need to worry about causing me any trouble. I also tried boosting his self-esteem by making him a popular idol."

"I'm just a hick, but I've done my best..."

Like, Rinne was trying so much to make Niki happy. But Niki's Niki...He's scared that he might cause Rinne trouble so he mostly stays out of it.

From what had happened to Niki dad ( His dad who often gets featured in TV programs got banned from TV stations and was forced to never appear on TV again / from Main story Episode 139 / )

So when trouble comes, Niki always hides it from others until it eventually solves itself or until Niki finds some solution to solve it.

It the same as in Hot Limit story, where Niki stayed: "I'm was afraid that if I became a criminal, I would cause trouble for my dad, who was finally getting back on his feet, and my mom, who supported him all the time."

And yet again in Epilogue 4: "Nahaha, But I don't want to cause trouble for people around me like my dad did before..."

And surprisingly, our song for today~ Honeycomb Summer is not just about Crazy:B, it's about NIKI! And what came into Niki life when he was young? Rinne! So Rinne had a big impact on his life, made this song also talks about Rinne in some way.

Ok, ok, first line, first line:

I think that Niki making fun of Rinne's shirt style, but then the next line went:

"I'm going to make another joke like that"(Rinne line)

And I was like, nah, that didn't click, it gonna be something else.

So, if we return to the story event, I was thinking, ok, so maybe this is about the old time more than the present.

The foolish-looking T-shirt is actually from Niki and he gave it to Rinne and after Rinne wears it on, Niki laughs at how it doesn't fit Rinne at all.

If you don't know, Rinne who ran away from his home at that time got nowhere to go, when he was lying dead on the side of the road, Niki accidentally walked by then decided to adopt him.

So maybe Niki gave him some of his T-shirts then felt how weird those T-shirt were.

"I'm going to make another joke like that"

So, consider the fact that Niki doesn't make that much of a joke in the story, he was trying to get close or wanted to make Rinne feel more comfortable by cracking up some weird joke that no one could laugh at. Since he don't usually do that, he's not that good at it, but still trying his best for the little confusing Rinne.

"I'm sorry I let my true feelings get in the way" (Niki line)

"I was just regretting it" (Rinne line)

Niki don't want to cause trouble for others, so "Sorry I let my true feelings get in the way" shows how much Niki wishes to hide himself in, hide what he desires the most because he is scared that "following his heart" may cause other people around him to stuck into his stuff and that might trouble them.

With that came the story event, the same day when Niki brought Rinne back to his home, Niki later on collapsed because he didn't eat properly, Rinne panicked, and ran out of the house, begging the neighbor for some food.

When Niki woke up, he found food, a lot of them. But when Rinne said that he "rod" them, Niki was dumbfounded, thought he really did such things until Niki asked the other and found out that Rinne was actually insincere about it.

Thinking that Rinne was a bad person until Niki got to know the whole story did he finally go soft on him. Realize that Rinne is a good person and feel the want to keep him around.

"I'm sorry for picking you up just because I hope that I'm not a bad person and left you there on the street, and now I'm regretting it. You deserve a place to live in. And maybe mine isn't the best, but this is all I have."

"With a shy look on your face. You're just trying to fool me" "Isn't that just pulling us apart? The distance between us" (Kohaku & HIMERU)

"(WHAT GOING ON?)"(All)

Remind you about the fact that Niki is quite aloof.

Don't really get along with other friends (did he even have any friend at that time?)

So having some stranger staying in his house is not a good thing for him. Both are having communication problems so who will be the first to open up now?

And with Rinne ruthless way of talking, it was hard for the inexperienced Niki to understand him without misunderstanding it.

But Niki still hold onto the kindness in Rinne heart, knowing that Rinne wasn't actually THAT MEAN. Though the way he talks is like he wants to push Niki away.

(Note: The translation in-game was like this: "In an attempt to get away with it, but that will only push us apart. And widen the distance between you and me." )

Niki was panicked: "What should I do? What should I say? How do I treat him in his needs? Food! Maybe Food! He liked my food so-!"

He didn't know what do to, and neither did Rinne.

Niki sometimes regretted letting him in, but at the same time, he felt relief for giving him a home and didn't let his body rot on the side of the street.

"I don't want to make a bad play"

(Rinne line)

"And don't want to be a bad actor"

(Rinne&HIMERU)

From these 2 lines, it not about Niki, this captures more of Rinne characteristics as we all know, he acts like a mean, harsh person but at heart, he just wants the best for everyone.

And he was trying to "play it cool" here, just like the time he asked for food from the neighbor for Niki. He displays himself as a flawless, perfect being but inside he's just as pathetic as everyone else.

He didn't want anyone to find out about this, not even Niki, who was the only person he could rely on.

What happen if Niki found out that he was faking it? He may be a monarch but he's nothing but a helpless human in the big city.

He's smart and is the best human being around, yet is all but the way he wants people to look at him. He can't help it, he was being raised to become a monarch, to be brave yet alone.

The king who stands alone, sees nothing but the darkness. Then got confused when a stranger that he couldn't push away came into his life.

Niki gave him food, gave him a place, he's not the king! He's a small little human being who loves idol and the new world that shine bright like the sun.

With what Niki gave him, Rinne want nothing more but happiness for Niki. ( This had been showed in the story event, like, dam...I'm in tear)

"NO MORE, SO HOT" (All)

(Note: This is the first line that brought up the heat. The summer heat, yes, is also an element in their story as Niki meets Rinne in the summer.)

"So why don't you just..." (Kohaku & Niki) "Take it off."(All)

There are 2 meanings in these lines:

Firstly, the real meaning. It is hot, and they want to take off their close. Like, literally. Because the word "nugi" in the second line "Nugi sutereba ii ya" is this "脱ぎ" and it alone means: "Take off your clothes".

Secondly, "take it off" also mean "become naked". And no, I'm not saying naked the other way, is the mental way. Being naked is being all out, no more hiding, be yourself, and telling the truth, never the lies. It may be embarrassing as much as you're naked in a physical way because us human don't always speak what we thinks.

And who hide their real self a lot? Rinne.

Niki may not always do as he likes, but he never acts highly to hide his true self. BUT Ya know who is? Rinne, Rinne, Rinne~!

"And reveal everything" (HIMERU line)

Now, I want you to imagine the summer heat. Like, you are lying in your room, trying to find every way to defeat this heat that burns you from top to bottom.

How do you feel? Madness drive, frustration hit. You just get all tired without even getting your body to do any hard work.

You're just a little mad burning meat, and at that moment you just F*CK IT! Then take it all out, and say: "Because it hot out here!"

So, this and the "nugi" line put together is about Rinne just admitting it all to Niki. Like, they be lying somewhere on the flood in the summer, can't get the fan to work then Rinne just starts blasting out all his frustration because he can't take it anymore.

It is not just the heat, is the timing, is the moment. When Rinne finally got to talk about it, before that, there was no one that actually listen to him in the way that he wanted to.

Hiiro is still young, he was raised to protect Rinne, so it is still hard for him to understand Rinne's words.

The people there can't really understand it either, they only care for his bravery, king-like version.

The only person that he can rely on is this stranger that had now shown strong impact on his life, as he feels comfortable enough to be with.

But at the end, Rinne just stops: "Oh sh^t, maybe I should stop, I'm talking too much about such things that may revealed my truth self, I should stop now before too late." Then laughed it off as if it was just all a joke: "Nah, that's just because I'm hot! It getting hotter in here, enough to drive me crazy!"

At every vents he ever tells Niki, he just ends it up with a: "Just joking." To the point that Niki thought when Rinne actually told the truth, he was joking all along.

"It'll all be over in an instant (SO HOT!)" (All) "Like a mirage" (Kohaku line) "That's (DIVE) why (LIVE!) I want it." (All)

"Unforgettable time" (Niki line)

"WITH YOU!" (All)

To Niki, all the honest that Rinne have been was never a bad things. Even if export all his lies he had ever told Niki, Niki has nothing more then joy and love for him.

He’s happy for Rinne to be who he really is, either a mighty monarch or just some random guy who living rent free in his house, Rinne is Rinne, to Niki, already knew who he’s truthly is, so when Rinne just vent all that out, Niki don’t hate it.

Niki was happy to be the one Rinne can relied on, his first friend, first partner, someone to keep him company ever since his parent gone abroad.

All that frustrating moments under the heat of summer turn into an enjoyable time that are hard to forget.

"It's not the time to play games"(Kohaku line)

"The sun was shining so badly" (HIMERU line)

"That made my head go crazy" (Niki line)

"How it is like that?" (Rinne line)

"WHAT'S GOING ON?" (All)

Once again, the heat is taking over. As Rinne started to get confused about how much did he keep sticking on to Niki and Niki also wonder about how much Rinne impact his life more and more.

It also feel like Niki is panicking through the lines, complain that it is getting way too hot, and can't no longer be patient with Rinne brutal ways of acting.

Just slit it out you dummy! I'm having enough with ya keep hiding your real emotions like that!

Even if you're dead by the heat yet you still wanna hide it in?

"What you want to say" (HIMERU line)

"If you don't have the courage." (Niki line) "You won't be able to say it." (HIMERU & Niki)

It seems like there are confessions that Niki or Rinne want to make to each other.

Niki want to tell Rinne how much he had made his life turn brighter than it should be. Keeping Niki company through the loneliness.

While Rinne also wants to tell Niki about how much he loves to be with Niki. The silly chef who left him nothing but love and joy.

But they are scared that the other can't seem to understand how much they feel just by saying: "I love you."

Is that enough to make Niki believe that he loves him?

Will Rinne continue to stay here if he finally finds a place of his own. ?

But if I don't tell them now, when will another change come by?

None of them have the courage, but still, they're trying to show each other by action.

Rinne made Niki an idol, so he could shine like the sun, and maybe he'll start to realize how much he matters to others.

Niki follows Rinne on his journey to become an idol because Niki is the only one who truly understands him. He was scared that people only see the bad part, and with that came Rinne's action of never wanting to back down or accept his true self, Niki wanted to be there to help him out.

"Toward the sea" (Rinne line)

"With momentum" (Kohaku & Rinne) "Let's jump into it" (All)

This is the moment when all that heat is gone away, and they finally grab the freedom they want.

They no longer suffer under the heat of summer, under the pressure made by their own mind.

The moment they stay on that stage, the moment Rinne's wishes come true.

"Unless you blame the hot summer (SO HOT)" (All) "Highest temperature doesn't mean anything" (All)

Niki realizes Rinne still had his problem keeping it secret, now trying to get him to slit it out.

This is not that summer day anymore, the fan isn't broken, and there is no other time better than this moment to talk about your problem, but if you decide to stay silent, I know you'll blame it on the heat of summer.

"Let’s enjoy ourselves without hesitation (NON STOP!)" (All)

Note: There is also another version of this line that is being translated like this: "Don't be afraid to have fun (NON STOP!)" (One are from youtube: Honeycomb Summer (YB) and another is on Tumblr: Honeycomb Summer (TB) )

Niki told Rinne to stop being stressed out and just go! Enjoy! Isn't this what you always wanted? What to be afraid about?

"In intervals way that surprise me and you. If we follow each other. Let's share more ( DIVE LIVE!)" (All)

Sorry, but, once again, I have to, I'VE TO PUT THE OTHER VERSION ON!

Rinne was like, yeah, maybe you're right... there's nothing to be afraid of as long as you're by my side.

"Let’s blame it on the sweltering summer (Dive, Now!)' "We don’t need to be so considerate anymore" "Show it all off! / Just let it all out (Oh yeah!)" "It’s over in an instant (So hot!) There is no word needed. Just read these lines and you already know what going on.

Let's keep it short, Niki and Rinne want to be together in the summer. Even if it's hot like hell, even if they're going crazy. Rinne might say something silly again, and the person that Rinne wants them to listen to his ramble will always be Niki.

"Cause I’m Crazy Bee, that’s just my nature"

Cuz, Niki now in a team of crazy bastards, a team that doesn't hold back, so Niki himself has to be brave, change, and adapt to the new environment.

"A sweet memory, like a honeycomb" "It’s okay to be greedy"

Niki wants to be with Rinne and the rest of Crazy:B but he scared that he might cause them trouble, Rinne was there, tells him that it ok, if any trouble, just let me and the others know, maybe we can lean you a hand.

"Let’s take it all with us" "Come here!"

Come here! Stay together, no boys got left out!

but he starts doing a bunch more favors for you like carrying your stuff for you and offering you his coat

he is not subtle at all

like its so painfully obvious by the way he looks at you that he's head over heels

he doesn't know how to flirt honestly

LITA Ep 1 rewatch thoughts

Taking it from the top! Why is Phayu literally the nicest person ever? Like he just saw someone's car stalling near the road in the rain and he just stopped to help? I love that this is their official intro to each other bc it gives us viewers a clear impression of their dynamic from the very beginning. The music selection in this scene is so funny though bc it's intense and dangerous and Phayu is literally just telling Rain to turn his hazard lights on lmao.

I also love that every time Phayu helps Rain, he does so with encouragement for Rain to be more self-sufficient. The tire-changing is example one.

"You're so handsome" RAIN pls control yourself... I mean we all agree and Phayu's already looking interested but danggg

Ah Sky, the long-suffering (affectionate) BFF. Did we ever find out when they met? Was it just in college or before, bc it looks like Sky's Rain-related-nonsense-tolerance meter is constantly maxed out and that usually comes from long-term friendships.

I LOVE HIM there is not a single thought behind these eyes

Yassss department god Phayu for the win!! Love how this montage makes Phayu seem like a highly elegant and smart guy (which he is) but then we just watch him be a dork over Rain the rest of the series.

Fast forward a bit to the restaurant scene bc I forgot to keep typing...

Ok yeah sure you don't remember Rain, Phayu. Please, you made a beeline directly to him as soon as you walked in. Also, this scene makes my heart beat faster even though they do a lot more later on (where are those eyes looking, eh Phayu?).

The next scene where Phayu wipes Rain's hair gives me mixed feelings bc on the one hand, I don't like how Rain literally had to hit Phayu with a pillow before he'd let go, but on the other I didn't actually get a sense of danger from Phayu. I also did like that Phayu threw out "actually I'm bisexual" so casually - love that for us. I also think it's hilarious how fast Rain falls into the "I'm so into Phayu" headspace. I've heard some people call it subspace and from what I know I'm inclined to agree but I don't know enough to comment on that further. Also here begins the saga of Rain having a death-grip on Phayu's neck during intimate moments. We stan <3

Somehow I didn't notice the thermostat being set so low during every rewatch of this episode until now - I was always confused as to why Rain had to go under the covers but I get it.

When they wake up and Rain calls Phayu a bunch of names I couldn't stop laughing - it's even funnier when you know what's coming in the next few eps. Also my son really went "no thoughts head empty" after a single cheek kiss from Phayu. What a cutie

Rain cursing at the storm is so cute!!! Also we love our logical bestie Sky as always.

I LOVE P'Aon!! Also he's the first person to call Rain Phayu's boy and for some reason I think that's v v cute

I accidentally paused and can't stop laughing at Phayu's face here PLSSSS

And we've made it to the ending scene!! Ahhhh this makes me SO SOFT! I love it when characters tuck their face into their partner's neck when they're sleeping - there's something about the trust and comfort needed to do that which makes me so happy to see it play out. And Phayu's little "I'm really starting to like you, Rain" with the SOFTEST little smile on his face URGH I'M EXPERIENCING EMOTIONS

This is one of my favorite opening episodes of a series! We got introduced to all the main players as well as the key side-characters, and we got a good understanding of who Rain and Phayu are as individuals (less so on Phayu's side for now) and their dynamic together. I was so hyped to finish the rest of the series as soon as I finished this episode the first time

OK SO I FINISHED BG3 thoughts and stuff under the cut (spoilers obvs) . Pals and mutuals that played feel free to comment it with me, and also wyll enjoyers pls do interact fkfkdk

SPOILER about the ending

-Ok so i was playing a good tav dwarf paladin romancing wyll, got my team of wyll/lae'zel/karlach, but lae'zel felt like the real main character of this story and honestly its what she deserves.

-got orpheus and turned him into a mind flayer sorry bro. and then the emperor gets angry and fights with the baddies. like gosh this guy sucks

-saved the day yadda yadda and lae'zel went away to guide her kind and LOOK SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND FOREVER i was so sad but i knew it was what she wanted but IT PAINS ME

-then gale leaves me to become a god, and then astarion gets attacked by the sun and runs away and im like wow this ending is such a downer everyone is leaving me

-AND THEN. KARLACH.......

-Ok so i cried like a baby like. i fucked up i dont know what i did wrogn i cant believe karlach is gonna die im SOBBING

-But wyll is like "WE CAN LIVE ALL FIGHTING DEMONS IN HELL" and got the coolest shit ever of these 3 going on adventures like you dont know HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS ENDING!!! im so happy aaah TOT

-then there is the epilogue and it's the cutest thing i can hug shadow heart and halsin and karlach :_) tried with astarion but i dont know if its impossible or i had him too low (every companion loves me but he finds me acceptable fgoihdgfjiodgio) anyways i wanted to hug all my friends

-gale is a god and like good for him but im like ??? damn we dont see his mission or anything he does this all off screen?? i wanted to see his struggles and stuff idk i wanted to see the FEELINGS

-anyways idk if i got a bug or something but when i get to talk with people about what i am doing is just me and karlach and 0 mention of wyll idk why TOT let me talk about my romantic companion pls

-also i had like 2 options to talk with romanced wyll and way more conver with astarion wich again i didnt even have very high on his love for me (i do love him and my chara frienenemy status tho) but why only 2 options for wyll i wanna talk with him moreeee at the end

-he did blow me a kiss it was the cutest thing tho

-Again idk if i got a bug but i never get anyone commenting on my relationship with wyll and i know the companions gossip about karlach and probs other charas >-<

-i heard a friend who had to kill karlach to get to see her gale ending so i tried in another save to see what happened (it was awful btw) and that was the only way to get an extra scene of wyll telling me to go for mizora and having other people aknowledge him in the epilogue (just with jaheira it lets me say wyll, with astarion and shadow heart they gave me answer like "oh im with my lover" and such instead of by name)

gonna talk about mutant mayhem and nobody's gonna stop me

i absolutely loved this trailer,, and im excited / anxious for this movie!!!

ok so first im gonna talk about the art style.. which i find beautiful.

the art style and animation are very much spiderverse-y,, and i dont have anything against that! i mean the spiderverse movie was like eye candy,, and im really happy that other animated movies get to be like spiderverse in sense of animation,, it's absolutely awesome that mutant mayhem's also gonna try out this aesthetic!!!

i love them. i adore them. they're so small 😭

something everyone pointed out is how Leo was like anxious almost all the time while donnie,, mikey and raph were playing live action-style fruit ninja. which is a nice detail! but pls give leo a rest he always has to carry the hard stuff.

I am filled with immense joy im so happy you asked.

So!!! If you like viddy games, especially first person shooters- you can easily download the game off of steam for absolutely free. The matchmaking isn't entirely intuitive, and the game is full of destructive aim-bots making it hard to get new people into the game, but it's worth it :3. I'm more than happy to play the game with you if you'd like, i can show you around and tell you what servers to avoid etc etc.

If you don't like playing viddy games or shooters or simply aren't interested- there are tons of fun official content letting you get to know the characters and plot! A lot of tf2 fans dont even play the game lol.

There's a meet-the-team series that consists of short videos about every single playable character (and one extra) and they are so fun and also cinematic masterpieces. There's also a few fun promotional videos like Expiration Date that's a story driven short that everyone should watch because its just sooo much fun. And a few trailers that are great like the Mann vs Machine trailer that's just very badass and cool and has sick music.

There are official COMICS!!!! and they're DELIGHTFUL! There's a main comic series that unfortunately never got finished and ends on a cliffhanger, but i reccomend it with all my heart. Of course there are some side comics that are just as great and let you get to know the characters even better.

If you do get into tf2- tell me EVERYTHING!! tell me what you think and tell me your favourite characters pleasepleasepleaseplease it will make me so happy i will die. And i will forever talk to you about my blorbos because i actually cannot shut up ever.

A slight breeze blew over you and your small companions as you all made your way up to Starsnatch Cliff. The ever energetic Klee bounded ahead of you as Qiqi and Sayu lazily held onto your hands.

"Hurry up [Y/N]! Klee wants to play with you already!!"

You giggle at her excitement, "We're coming, we're coming hang on! Don't get too close to edge though ok?"

"Don't worry I won't!" she replies with a mini salute before she runs on ahead.

With a soft sigh and shake of your head, you urge Qiqi and Sayu ahead. "Let's go, yeah? We can make some flower crowns together."

Qiqi looks up at you, "What are... flower crowns? Qiqi cannot remember anything like that."

"Nana helped me make some before, it's very fun but it makes me a little sleepy..." Sayu interjects.

You smile fondly, "Yep! Basically we take any pretty flowers we find and weave them together to make a pretty crown. It's very relaxing and fun to do, I'll show you how to do it don't worry!"

"Thank you [Y/N], Qiqi thinks that sounds fun."

You all finally reach the top, where Klee was waiting patiently. She spots you and runs up to give you a big hug, "You're here now! What game are we gonna play today? We can't go fish blasting because there's not any fish but that's ok. I like playing any game with you like-"

You cut her off before she begins rambling, "We're going to be making flower crowns today! Doesn't that sound fun?"

"Klee thinks so! How do we do it though?" She tilts her head in confusion and you ruffle her hair. "Let's all gather some cecilias and sit down first ok?"

With a nod, the three scamper off to find the prettiest cecilias for you. Before long they come back, arms full of flowers.

"Are these enough [Y/N]? Qiqi looked for as many as she could..." the said girl looks up at you, hoping to be praised.

"Yes thank you very much Qiqi, they'll be very nice for our flower crowns." Taking all of the gathered cecilias and putting them in a pile as the four of you sit down, the children facing you, eager to learn.

"Alright, so! First we're gonna take this flower and loop it here with another to create a knot like this...." You begin to show them how to create a flower crown step by step, and before long, a sweet silence settles as you all focus on making the crowns.

A tiny finger pokes your arm, "uhm, [Y/N]? Does this look right?" Sayu hands you her slightly misshapen flower crown and you take it with a smile.

"It looks great Sayu, let me put it on you!" You move to place it on her head and she gives you a sweet smile. Soon Klee and Qiqi also finish up and request that you crown them all like princesses.

"Look at us we're all princesses! Klee can't wait to show Mister Albedo!!" Klee exclaims excitedly as Qiqi smiles softly to herself.

They prance around, happy with their flower crowns and you place yours on top of your head. "Look, doesn't [Y/N] look pretty too? [Y/N] is the prettiest out of all of us I think" Sayu points out and the other children chime in.

"Yeah! [Y/N] is soooo pretty, I like them lots."

"Qiqi agrees, [Y/N] is pretty and nice."

You lightly blush at their sincere compliments before grabbing them all in a hug. "Wahhh you guys are the sweetest, c'mere-" And then proceed to tickle them, "WAHAHAHHA [Y/N] NOOOOO-"

Their laughing cries for help were carried into the wind as you all collapsed in a heap together.

"Thank you for playing with us today [Y/N], we had lots of fun!" They all chirped, content.

and I must say??? We need more killer writers pls 😔 I love oneshots, hcs, all that stuff, but where are my longfics??? not to complain (i am), but WHERE IS THE SLOWBURN??

ambrose you are a godsend fr fr… I get so picky with this kind of thing because sometimes i’ll say “Oh I don’t like slowburn THAT much” but the moment I find a good slowburn, I will eat that shit up. I will be HOOKED on my phone for hours at a time and let my work pile up because yeah, these fics have me forgetting I need to sleep

Wish I could give you all the kisses in the world because you really just spoil us with ur amazing writing… ive never felt so blessed by an author before cuz the way the slowburn is so agonizing it has me ripping apart my lungs, my heart aching, myself going insane… I live for it.

Respect to you and other slowburn authors, cuz it takes a lot of work to write one… I always find other law or killer fics and the relationships always feel so rushed 😔 please, law and killer are such slowburn potential characters and i hate to see them act so impulsive in other works. like the last time I wrote fanfiction it was a decade ago when I was first starting off high school. (not counting rps n shit with friends that continued forever)

never in a million years did i know people would enjoy it as much as they are and that shit makes me so unbelievably happy. like y'all have no idea. when i say i be giggling and kicking my feet n shit I MEAN IT

Sue headcannons (or something close to that) Long read

this is my favorite papa louie character, so I must have headcannons. Ok let's start.

Also If you see any other existing headcannons of either Mary or Sue, I may believe in them. Some parts may be similar.

This part will mainly be like how she got here and love related stuff and during -----. So if you're not interested in that just keep scrolling down to not those parts.

. The reason why she and Cooper (I think) were trapped together is cause she was borrowing some cooking stuff. (This will appear again later) but she decided to try to save Penny but got captured agian.

.Before papas pizzeria she barley knew Mary. All she knew I that she lives in the apartments.

.She started working at fluffmart around a year before papa louie: when pizzas attack began.

. She met Mary during papas pizzeria, Mary bumped into Sue, Sue got a little mad but calmed down. When Mary pointed out that they kinda order the same they talked. They didn't officially become friends till like when sarge fan becomes unlocked in the game. (Either rank 30 or 45)

. When she got transported into munchmore (I think that's the name) she wasn't all that scared. She believes that some are overreacting to their danger. But if this were to ever happen again she's prepared. (I hope on the next pl: when ---- attack she's the main/playable character)

. Mitch did hit on Sue by giving her a taco filled with sour cream but then she was like "I think I like Mary, you see her coming here don't you" and he was shocked like hell (it didn't matter really cause he got disinterested after that) also during like the very end of Tacomia she realized like hey maybe I like Mary (not as a lot till freeziria tho).

. During like the middle of frezzeria she could not stop thinking about Mary, it would sometimes slow down her work completely to a halt. Her fellow workers were getting worried of her. But tne final thing before she decided to ask Mary out is when she thought of "other things" but then she was like "wait wtf, maybe I should ask her out, I think I REALLY like her".

. While going to calypso Island with Mary she personally asked Penny to make sure on a certain date when people don't go to the beach as much in exchange for free napoleon ice cream for a year card. Penny told her it's best for the end of the day. Sue was like saying thank you a lot even tho that's kinda obvious. Even Penny was like "Damm I thought Sue was the mean one, maybe not as much as it seems to be". Also Penny thanked Sue for attempting to save her.

. She and Mary were both happy asf when Sue asked Mary out. But then they were stuck on calypso Island for like under 7 or less months. (I kinda don't like the Canon that they're stuck for a year) Sue's heart was beating really fast when she was going to ask her to be her gf.

.don't worry she didn't get fired.

. during like the beginning of tacomia Sue met Mary's older brother James and their adopted father skip. Then Sue learned Mary's backstory (will be explained in a Mary headcannon post) this made them closer friends.

.so to explain. she started working at fluffmart at 18, met Mary around 19, and started dating at 20. Or 20, 21 and 22. This is why I'm not entirely sure of my headcannon age for her.

This is now just kinda like random stuff and maybe her backstory

. they're both the same age (around 23-26) but Sue is younger by like 3 months. (I don't see her being like 40 or something)

. Her birthday is March 23, (either 2000 or 1997)

. She is 5,7 and weighs 132 lbs.

. She was born in a smaller area of tastyville, her parents now live in tacodale tho.

. Im not entirely sure yet but i think she may have either 1 or 2 younger siblings.

.I don't see the either of them being parents (yet????????) I mean Mary or Sue.

.her friend group (or people she usually sees a lot and is fine with) consists of Mary (gf) Mindy, Vicky, Whiff, Quinn, Penny, Alberto, James, Skip, Allan, Akari, Roy, Joy, Chuck, Taylor, Leizel, Nye, Treble and Scooter. Remember is that she may just see them a lot and is fine with.

. She, Mary, the other Canon lgtbq characters, Chuck, Taylor and Scooter are in a group. It takes place every month.

. In high school she often beaten up the asshole popular kids who bullied people. I'm not sure if she used her fists or something else.

. She believed she was either straight or aroace. Guess she's not anymore. Also she didn't date anyone before Mary.

. She is very smart and very on plan. But when thinking of Mary gets clumsy and such.

. She's sarcastic sometimes. But will act passive aggressive at times.

. When people hear of Sue dating Mary, they think its abusive or something along those lines. But it's the complete opposite. They get along very well, genuinely love each other, all very positive. But she does feel like people shouldn't know about them dating. But they eventually learns about it anyways. People think that one of them will eventually propose.

. Her pokemon team would be kadabra, alcreamie, garchomp, nidoking, lopbunny and either between exploud, machoke

. She's a really good baker. This is why she keeps on getting put into papas next chefs. (I hope she wins the next one, or just wins or gets something good)

. Her backstory isn't that deep or anything, she was usually like the very angry kid that kinda calmed down, but still needs fixing. Other than that there's nothing else to say about her backstory.

.Very interesting thing is that Sue beat up some bullies who were coincidentally were bullying Mary. They both don't know about this encounter in high school.

. The mocharia movie plot was kinda wild for Sue, I'll just say that. (This is when more people learned about she and Mary dating tho)

. She's the type of person to hype someone up but disappoint them (never something serious tho)

. No one knows except for Mary but on each and every papa louie when ---- attack game cabinet in his restaurants she secretly has the highest score and goes by use. Somehow no one but Mary knows this (torhu was very close to beating one of the scores but died anyways however tohru does have a high score in the arcade).

. She's really good at games with guns, swords and combat.

. One time while playing stomp stomp institution she got so pissed (she was very close but messed up the end part) that she was stomping on one of the arrow pads that she broke it (she did apologize a lot and payed back) and the funny thing is that stomp stomp institution is a Dance dance revolution reference and I happen to like ddr.

. She calls people stupid over small things and sometimes doesn't feel bad for it.

. She and Mary didn't move in till like scooperia, there was some problems moving in, this is why she appears very late in the game (Rank 62). the problems were like where does this go and is this big enough and other stuff like that.

. She's a great singer. She has a sultry voice, it's very clear and doesn't stutter or mess up words a lot.

. Probably sounds like this or something close to that.

. She's kinda strong and can lift heavy things. She can only hold Mary for like 5 seconds before either getting tired or failing.

. Her favorite foods are red velvet cake, pomegranate, strawberries, watermelon and mushrooms.

. Her least favorite foods are broccoli and sour candies.

. When angry, she will raise her voice, but when very angry she'll start swearing a lot.

. She had anger issues since like 5.

. She has great reflexes.

. She really likes Mary's Saint Patrick's costume.

. When someone mentioned that she and cynthia from pokemon look kinda similar she wasn't like stfu she was more like uhh ok. (They're right)

. In my head she looks really hot and (mostly) men and sometimes even women would ask her out but she always rejects.

.She is always careful around men she doesn't know/trust (she doesn't hate men or had a bad experience in the past but she knows that someone will hit on her or worse.)

. She may nearly had a bad experience when she rejected a guy but the next day while watching nowtime news (I think thats the name) there was a guy arrested on serious charges and she swore it looked exactly like him. This was during the ending of burgeria and while she and Mary were just friends.

. The reason she dressed up as Ghostface is that that was the only option and she wanted to be a devil (to match with Mary's angel costume) and this is when they are dating now.

. People have confused her and Maggie of being related (they're not)

. She doesn't have a favorite type of genre, she just likes whatever.

. This is more so Mindy but she was the first one to learn Sue was a lesbian. She was like "I called it". When Sue and Mary announced that they were dating. (she started to notice during the beginning of tacomia.

. The reason she works at fluffmart is cause she kinda doesn't know what to do yet.

. If Mary were to die, she would not date anyone ever agian but if it made her extremely depressed, she would kill herself.

. If the workers admitted that they respect her saud that they relate to her struggles for respect, she would be less mad.

. She didn't appear in pancakeria till like the very end is cause of being stuck on calypso Island and all the work she missed.

. Ngl this is Sue to Mary. Very affectionate towards her.

. She doesn't drink too much alcohol. When she is drunk tho she's just kinda chill.

. She's interested in mystery type shows and crime shows. Also game shows.

. She once showed Mary how fluffmart works. Then one of the new hires sat on a box. She yelled "GET OFF THE BOX!" "or else.........." then Mary told her to calm down and she said "the new hires are dumb as fuck, and I don't feel bad for saying that."

And that's kinda it for my headcannons for Sue. Sorry for this being so long and I will do Mary headcannon post. I may edit this if I think of more things.

Island, episode 5 + spoilers

No wonder everybody wants to binge when usually viewers have to wait the whole eternity to get some proper answers. Well, not here we don't. It's good they don't keep us waiting for too long.

So this happened. Talking about being devoted to protecting Mi-ho during the beast mode. Van totally wins this round.

Umm hello, universe, that's the kind of boyfriend I'm looking for, ok, take notes! I have a feeling he'll keep winning every round.

Van's brother, however... What's with that summoning ritual right at the beginning? Come on, why do the hottest ones have to be evil.

Oh well, that's a sign right there all hell is going to break loose, of course. So now we have two powerful forces with the urge to kill Mi-ho, the ultimate girlboss, the greatest potential threat to the demon who's been keeping both of these guys alive since the old times? While one of them is deeply in love with her and has been in love with her for so many years? Cute.

This smells like blood, as our cute Gio would say. Reeks of murder and betrayal. I see the handsome blondie dead in the near future, as the final step towards lust demon's downfall. And everyone of us crying over it. But let's see.

Apparently, Van's residency is within a Faraday cage, no signal goes in, no signal goes out.

Of course our main she-wolf went to check upon Van as he ran never to return again after that stab stab incident.

What? It's not like I've never dated a guy who almost got me killed, so who am I to judge. I bet there's many of us out there, we'll know better next time *deep sigh*

At least this is a fiction, so we can all just forget about that crazy attack altogether now. If Mi-ho can let it go, so can we. Stay strong you guys.

Ahhh priest Gio, did you really have to cause an unnecessary scene like that?! Can't you just be cute and fluffy? Like a good boy? Did more damage than good, and the food went to waste, those dumplings looked delicious.

Anyways, in this episode they really payed tribute to Eunwoo's cuteness.

Pls love him you guys. He's just a baby. A pretty cutie. (⁠✿⁠ ⁠♡⁠‿⁠♡⁠)

Also, we find out more about his life, he has a brother and both of them grew up as orphans. I mean if that doesn't soften your heart I really don't know what to say. I love the fact that Mi-ho pulled her connections to find Gio's brother, as they were separated as children. Real girl boss move.

Let's go boy, time to get your life back together. (⁠◠⁠‿⁠◕⁠) ahhh but seeing him with eyes full of tears afterwards really felt like a punch in the face, I hate seeing him sad and can't wait to see the happy reunion of the two brothers.

But that's not all, the emotional rollercoaster you'll get to experience in this one is crazy. And I know they had to make some really bad moves to make it a good series but... Killing Seung-joon, Mi-ho's bestie's future hubby? Right before the wedding? Did they really have to break the most cheerful character's heart and spirit and dreams in order to accomplish the horror effect of Gungtan?

Let's just remember her like this, ok? Because she could be an actual villain in the making after this tragedy and I refuse to believe that... She was so adorable with her fiance, I was looking forward to that wedding. Writers kind of screw this one up...could have at least given us the wedding.

And what were they thinking, I bet anyone watching knew he'll end up dead the second he set foot outside. I mean, the killer is on the loose and the whole island knows it. Bloody carrot cake and corsage...it was not worth it.

Final scene of Gungtan murdering the poor man and delivering him to Van. Like when a cat brings its prey back home. The fuq. It made me furious. I mean, we can easily label him as a sociopath, right?

But it's ok because at least he's a hot sociopath(⁠ʘ⁠ᴗ⁠ʘ⁠✿⁠) you may say.

Girl, no! We have more than enough of handsome characters already. Go back into your pit Gungtan!

And then we finally find out that cool priest Gio's name is actually Kang Chan-hyuk. Ok Chan-hyuk, that's adorable but you will always be my baby Gio (⁠｡⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠｡⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♡

My poor heart can't take this. Like let me adopt you both sweet babies. I'd love you till the end of time and wouldn't let a single hair fall off your heads ♡

Just as that scene ends, Van finally meets his brother as well, and it goes something like this:

The Vampire Diaries, s1e1, final scene, anyone? Damon and Stephan "hello brother" scene?? The whole Island team doing their best to make us fall for him, how low can they go???? Sung-joon, Sung-joon, he is something else. I mean look at him.

Oh god, imagine Gungtan being in love with Mi-ho as well, just like Damon was in love with Elena? *panics in confusion*

Let's just hope they didn't take it that far and that creators of Island were a bit smarter that that. I really hated the "brother switch" in tvd.

Baby reader: multiple mustache and hair tugs on Aizawa's,hizashi’s, and (rarely) eri’s hair. You like to pull when you aren't just sleeping and eating this is why shinsou has his hair up all the time.

Baby reader: all you do is sleep and eat and occasionally scream into a very loud karaoke machine, you a very lazy baby who sees their in a playpen just looks at the gate pushes it open as then rolls out then falls asleep while escaping.

Baby reader: remember that karaoke machine? Yeah well you found it while escaping and somehow mustered up the energy and idc that you went down and found a karaoke machine. After two minutes of your parents and sibling crying over the fact that they lost you. then they hear a very loud and aggressive BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH come from the basement. Of course, they send Aizawa and he finds you screaming in the karaoke machine at the cat.

Baby reader: of course as a baby you go into a lot of accidents now when Aizawa told Hizashi not to worry about you when you come home with them they didn't expect you to be that troublesome. But for such a lazy baby you had no sense in what to do so you grabbed things pulled off the outlet covers pulled out the baby door looks opened all the cabinets and stuff you were too smart for them. Soon Aizawa let mic over baby proof the house and you were safe.

They love you but your just to dang rowdy sometimes

Listen you are the exact opposite of the baby mic and Aizawa your a little shit filled with rage. They cannot control you at all restrain you do anything you will run your way out of it.
