I went to the bookstore for a bit after uni today because coming back home so that I could study this morning’s economy class. Now I’ll do my administrative law assignment for Monday TT.TT

Studying in cafes or with a nice breakfast always make me feel happy and productive ❤️

--06/28/22--

been a lil MIA while I finished up my film studies spring course. my final marks are out now and I got an A- in it! I was really only expecting a B or B-, since most of the marks come from writing papers, so I’m super proud of this :)

I don’t know why I’ve never been a fan of essays. I don’t think I was ever really taught how to write one beyond a grade 9 level, and I have a lot of trouble organizing my thoughts in a high-stress short period of time, like exams. but this course helped because I got to choose the movies I wrote about, so I chose ones that I liked, and wanted to analyze. my marks also went up during the course too. my first two papers got a 75, then an 80 on the midterm, 84 on the last paper, and 86 on the final! I was really stressed about the final, because it was 30 short answer questions, and then 2 essay style responses, analyzing short clips from movies we watched in class, all in 2 hours. but I pulled up my bootstraps and did the best I could, and I’m really happy with the outcome :D

this will also mark the start of my break until September. I’ll keep reblogging other’s posts, but I won’t be making any of my own. I need some time away to rest and recharge for my second year!

I got two new Skzoo pens and they write as pretty as the first one, I love it so much! I always forget to take pictures of my notes in study sessions until my coffee is already half empty, but oh well.
