Too Friendly Version 1
(Record of Ragnarok)
Hades: “When I said you should try being more friendly to mortals this isn’t what I meant.”
Poseidon: “How else am I supposed to be friendly with the mortals?” *has Y/N on a leash “I thought adopting a mortal would be the best the option.”
Hades: “No! This is wrong and weird.”
Poseidon: *turns away from his brother “Well I like this mortal so I’m keeping it.” *walks away while carrying Y/N
Hades: “No!!!”
Too Friendly Version 2
(Record of Ragnarok)
Hades: “When I said you should try being more friendly to mortals this isn’t what I meant.”
Poseidon: *clings to mortal Y/N’s waist while glaring at Hades “Oh so now I’m TOO friendly?”
Y/N: “Can we go cuddle in bed, it hurts standing here with you clinging to my side.”
Poseidon: “Of course Love.” *picks Y/N up and carries them off to bed
Hades: 😐
(I didn’t know which version to post so I posted them together, please comment which version ya like the best cause, idk)

one problem with getting into Fiction Franchises like, oh let's say the MCU, long after they started is that 1) there are things that refer back to things I don't know about and 2) i don't know what i don't know about, and in a way that latter is more of a problem at least for me.
i managed an episode of wandavision and was left thinking "this seems like it's good, but i have no clue what's going on here so it's not going to work for me is it?" and i am reliably told it's supposed to be Mysterious Mindfuckery but i, a noob, was unable to work out without external clarification what i wasn't supposed to know. if you see what i mean.
i notice the mcu movies (at least as it progresses?) don't have numbers on them, and we know when they're direct sequels because there's a subtitle. and if you come at these later you need to get a chart to work out whether you should watch thor: ragnarok before or after thor: the dark world. which is easily done if i am determined to get things in the right order, but any effort is too much for someone.
so while i am willing to consider the idea that the later mcu films/shows are just Less Good than the early ones (personally Doubt so far but I'm not opposed to the idea) it's very easy inside a fandom to lose sight of what your thing looks like to the casuals who make up most of an audience, and frankly the mcu is currently Very Large and confusing.
who are all these Mrs/Captain/Miss/etc Marvel ladies and which of them have already been in films I might or might not have seen? how many ant men are there prior to this one? am i supposed to know who the baddy in this or that film is? which of these side-characters are from something else?
doesn't-seem-related-but-it-is: i was surprised to discover that the general mcu fandom view of the loki series was not that it was some sort of AU situation that could be thought of an entirely separate from the main series of films. because that was pretty much why it was the one to hook me, i think - it explained the relevant backstory with clips and yet also this is a different loki so if i don't want to go and watch however many films he was in i don't have to. i would expect him to be to some extent "out of character" because it carefully explained to me that this is not really the same character as that identical guy with the same name who was in some number of films. there's a woman one and an alligator one but don't worry they're all from AUs anyway.

───── ❝ 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞 ❞ ─────
Hey, y’all. Welcome to my blog. My name’s Michael and I’m 24 years old but I’ll be 25 in like 78 days.
I’ve written fanfics for about 8+ years now, I got writer’s block and kind of stopped for awhile; but I’m getting back into the swing of things and can’t wait to start busting out more stories left & right.
As you can tell? I write about anything & everything, I love God of War & I love Red Dead & I love Spider-Man. As you can see by the three stories I’ve written.
I also made a thing on my rules, so I hope I don’t sound dickish but that’s how I’m running my blog.

STOP STOP OK but I am thinking. About how perfect it would be for post-Loki series Loki and post-Love and Thunder Thor to meet for many reasons but especially because Loki is gonna be like a good boy now 🥺 CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW PROUD THOR WOULD BE OF HIS LITTLE BROTHER!!!! 🥺🥺🥺

Hello! Could I request Hades and Poseidon (separatly) fell in love with dummy nymph!reader, who just doesn't notice their feelings, please? (◕‿◕)♡
Type of Writing: Request Characters: Hades and Poseidon Name: {Character} with a Oblivious Nymph! Reader Requester: Anonymous
A/N: My first Record of Ragnarok piece in quite a while, and thankfully, this was quite funny to write. This is so full of fluff and crack that it makes broken attics look nice😂

💀 Oh sweet mercy, this guy loves yet hates your obliviousness
💀 When he first met you, he would joke around about how you were so oblivious to things, but, when he tried to confess his feelings towards you for the first time and you just replied with something so platonic-sounding, he froze
💀 Your obliviousness was going to be a hint of a problem now
" My dear, have you ever thought about having a relationship with someone? " " I guess so, yeah. Why? " " How would you feel about courting with me by your side? " " Aw! You would help me with courting! You're so sweet, Hades! "
💀 Grabbing your hand when you were scared didn't get you to realize his feelings, even when he gave you the biggest hint while still hiding the straight-forward admission, you didn't get it
💀 Hades does understand that, because your a nymph, you haven't gotten that much experience when it comes to anything romantic, as many believe you only are attracted to things relationships non-romantically
💀 Zeus and Aphrodite have tried getting you guys to get together for centuries, from trying to have you guys go on a blind-date to having you literally go on a real-date with him, you always stayed blind to the real emotions hidden behind his gestures
💀 So, unsurprisingly, Hades eventually does have to straight-up admit his feelings, leaving you flustered and a hint embarrassed
" Y/N, I must admit that I am quite fond of you. So fond that I must ask, would you like to be in a courting relationship? " " You fond someone that wants to court me? Aw, Hades, how swe- " " Not someone else. Me, my dear. " " Oh... how long have you liked me like this?! " " About the past four centuries. " " Oh sweet seraphs... "

🔱 Poseidon is not amused at all.
🔱 He is not fond of people not understanding what he said, and it doesn't help with the fact that he's very blunt and honest when it comes to his words
🔱 When he first met you, you were speaking to your boss, Aphrodite, and when he arrived to speak with her about the waves causing damages to the nearby forests
🔱 That was when he noticed how oblivious you were to pretty much everything
🔱 Aphrodite eventually noticed how Poseidon seemed to soften with his actions whenever you were around, and she was the one who prompted him to finally begin trying to tell you about his feelings, unaware that you had no clue how to take a hint
" Y/N, would you like to accompany me to Zeus' reunion next week? As my date, of course. " " Oh, yeah! It'd be fun to spend some time with my best friend! "
🔱 Okay, ouch.
🔱 It took him only two tries before he began to lose his already strained patience, and he burst that bubble the third time you pushed his advances off as a friendly confrontation
" Would you like to accompany me to Hades' meeting tomorrow afternoon, Y/N? " " Of course! Spending time with my favorite friend is amazing- " " Not as a friend. As a future spouse. " " Huh? "

Hello sweetcheeks If you don't mind whether I can request Shiva, Hades, Hercules and Tesla with the very beautiful goddess S/O whose beauty even exceeds Aphrodite, S/O is very elegant and friendly to humans on earth. S/O also really loves immortals. You can freely ignore my request, don't forget to take care of your health and always drink water
Again, I only really follow the anime so I'm only writing for Shiva and Hercules but either way, I hope you like it!
Shiva (+ Wives):
Tumblr media
- He loves you and all his wives equally, and while you were recently added into the relationship BUT TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THAT YOU NEVER FEEL LEFT OUT, not when Shiva himself has to keep all four of his arms wrapped around you just because Parvati, Kali, and Durga HAVE BEEN HOGGING YOUR ATTENTION ALL DAY.
- Shiva is so proud to show you off to the other gods, honestly. Making them all jealous and inflating his own ego a bit more.
- He doesn't just show you off, he likes to show off for you. When he's playfully fighting another God then he'll be sure to really flex his muscles and put on a show for you and wink, making you all shy and flustered which is ADORABLE in his eyes.
- He also doesn't just love you for your looks of course, your heart is so incredibly kind and loving. Which contrasts very nicely to his recklessness and sometimes violent side. He smiles seeing you with his son because you always uplift him and treat him like any mother would with their child.
- HE ALSO LOVES TO DANCE WITH YOU AND SO DO HIS WIVES. Like, they invite you and you stun them with your gracefulness and elegance, such poise and control in your steps.
- You were absolutely enchanting, even by a God's standards and everyday, Shiva is just in awe of you. When he's bored and lazy, he asks you if you can dance with him and gives you big puppy eyes to convince you so you roll your eyes and stand up and he gets all happy.
- Your love for humans can lead to...conflicts. Like, he already knew it and he found it odd but endearing but he still has his own opinions about them and they're not very good until Ragnarok happens.
- But, like, when the God's vote for humanity's execution and you're horrified at how they could all be so cruel, Shiva just genuinely can't wrap his head around it but he'll comfort you, a bit guiltily.
- So there is a gap in which you need space from them because its an important topic and while all couples fight, it feels colder in his home because he and everyone else misses you so much.
- NO BUT ALSO, LIKE, AFTER HIS FIGHT, HE STARTS TO SEE WHY YOU LIKE THEM AND HE APOLOGIZES and you're just concerned because HIS ARMS ARE LITERALLY FUCKED UP and you just dote on him.
- Ngl, his wives kinda hate him for a bit now (not actually) because while you help him recover, he acts like a big baby just so you can comfort him and coddle him and give him all your attention and shooting his wives a smug smirk as they roll their eyes but smile as you take care of him because it feels so nice to have you back.
Hercules:
Tumblr media
- PLEASE YOU TWO ARE LITERALLY A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN, LIKE, YOU GUYS ARE LEGIT THE SWEETEST COUPLE EVER😭
- The fact that he used to be human was what drew you to him, like, Ares and the other Greek gods were celebrating and Ares is all: "Woah, (Y/n)'s been looking at you the entire time." and Loki bitterly pouts: "Ugh, of course the human turned God caught her attention right off the bat."
- Hercules doesn't understand why they were making a big deal and turned around to see you...only to make direct eye contact with you and immediately getting all shy and flustered. You greeted him with such warmness and you talked about what it was like for him to become a God, then he started to talk about his life as a human.
- And unlike other gods who side eyed him or looked down on him, your eyes were filled with such wonder and awe at him. You had so many questions for humanity and the way you seemed to be fascinated with them makes it so clear to Hercules that you truly do have a passion for humanity just like him.
- THE OTHER GODS THINK YOU'RE SO WEIRD FOR IT BUT YOU GUYS DON'T CARE, he answers your questions about humanity and even takes you back to his home when he visits his friends and they're ALL STUNNED BY YOU.
- "I-Is that Aphrodite!?" and you just look at them and smile and their hearts beat 10x faster as you're all: "Aw, you humans truly are too kind. I am not the Goddess of Love, I am the Goddess of (insert what you want to be the Goddess of)."
- Your elegance also compliments his strength and almost brutish build, one thing you absolutely adore about Hercules is despite his strength, he always treats you so gently and is always mindful of his strength when he's with you.
- PLEASE HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES TO CARRY YOU ADMIRE YOUR BEAUTIFUL FORM, NO MATTER YOUR BODY TYPE, YOU ARE THE MOST PERFECT THING HE HAS EVER SEEN.
- No because when he volunteers to fight for the God's, you were confused but he explains why he's doing it and you just supporting him and having nothing more than the utmost confidence that he can guide the God's into seeing their wrongs.

Bruce Banner was a perfectly tolerable person to be around, probably. Loki could recognize this in an objective sense. He was polite, deferential even. Quite intelligent. He had a decent sense of humor, in a quiet sort of way. Easily the most amiable Avenger to have in one's company. Loki also knew, logically, that Bruce Banner and the Hulk were two separate entities that merely shared a common point of origin, on occasion. Still, despite all of this, when Loki was in the presence of the mild-mannered scientist he could think of little else aside from the marble floor of Stark's penthouse, and the sound it made as Loki passed through it.
As Bruce had stepped off the quinjet Valkyrie greeted him with a grin and a punch to the arm. "Hey, big guy." He responded with a nervous smile while rubbing his arm. "Hey." Before he had a chance to recover, Thor had swung in with one of his exuberant hugs. "Banner! Welcome back to New Asgard!" "Yeah, thanks, good to be here." Banner met Loki next and extended a hand. "Hey Loki, are you... uh, how are you?" The man seemed to be uncertain even of the question he was asking. Loki shook his hand, pleased that it seemed the discomfort wasn't entirely his to bear. "I'm well, Dr. Banner. And you?"
Loki had been made aware that Banner had played a key role in the Asgardians' escape from Ragnarok, and then Thanos after that. This explained the warm welcome he had received from the citizens of New Asgard. It did not explain the strange closeness he shared with the Valkyrie. It was Loki's understanding that she had sold the Hulk into slavery on Sakaar, yet they seemed to be on very friendly terms. There must be more to that story, but Loki considered that he may not want to know. Then again, she had also sold Thor into slavery and now she was essentially his advisor and lieutenant. Perhaps she was simply very gifted in making amends.
Part of the agreement that allowed the Æsir to settle here on Earth involved certain aspects of trade. They would be given a place to make their home, and in return the Asgardians would share their knowledge and technology with carefully-chosen human parties. Additionally, in exchange for allowing New Asgard to be built here specifically, several benefits of Stark Industries were being extended to the mortal town. Banner was here to oversee progress and move forward with these trades.
Blessedly, this meant that Loki's presence was not needed, as most of Banner's interactions were with the Æsir engineers and human officials. And so it was not much of an issue that Loki had somewhere else to be, and he quietly excused himself and slipped away from the clamor.
You had suggested another hike to spend the night on the mountain and Loki jumped at the opportunity. He hadn't told you of the dream he had when he was away at the compound, but the images from it had lingered in his mind. It was something he longed to recapture. You had invited Thor, but he declined, citing all the work that needed to be done. Loki had never been so grateful to his brother.
As he approached your cabin you were on the porch, laying out supplies that you would likely be asking Loki to transport. You straightened and smiled. "What took you so long?" "I beg your pardon." He leaned in to plant a quick kiss. "We received Bruce Banner along with a number of his apprentices today. I had to perform certain duties before I could diplomatically extricate myself." Your eyes lit up. "Bruce Banner? Bruce Banner is here?" Loki raised a brow. "Yes. He's here to learn of our technology and to grant us some of his." "Why didn't you tell me?" You turned your head toward New Asgard, peering down the road, as if you could see him from here. "Why is it of such keen interest?" "It's Bruce Banner! A world-renown scientist! The Hulk!" You eyes were still fixed down the road. Loki frowned. "Need I remind you that you dine with gods on a regular basis?" You waved dismissively. "Exactly, you're old news." He narrowed his eyes. "You shouldn't test me today, little bird. Soon we will be isolated on a mountaintop, alone in the darkness, far from help." He pulled you in close. "I'll have you completely at my mercy." You bit your lip and grinned with a new excitement in your eyes. "You promise?" He chuckled, his nose grazing yours. "I would say I should teach you a lesson but something tells me you would be too willing a student."
You laughed as he released you, then turned back to the provisions you were organizing. "How long is Banner here?" "A few days, at least." "Great, we can have him for dinner tomorrow." He sighed. "Must we?" You smirked. "Aw, are you still sore from that time he beat you up?" You offered him a mocking pout. "Show me where it hurts." Loki sulked. "My pride, mostly." "Well, that's ideal. You've got plenty of that to spare." You straightened and swung a pack over your shoulder. "No reason why we can't be social." Loki folded his arms and leaned against the post of your porch. "Perhaps I simply prefer not to?" "Oh, don't worry." The mocking tone had returned to your voice. "It's just a little dinner. I promise I won't let the big scary monster get you." Loki glared. "One day, you will reach the edge of my patience." You grinned. "Not today? I'll keep looking for it." You gave him a conciliatory peck on the cheek. "Now magic up these supplies so we can hit the trail." "Your mortal frailty is the only reason I tolerate this treatment." Loki begrudgingly waved a hand and vanished the items, then followed you down the road to the trailhead.
The climb felt different this time. It felt almost clandestine with just the two of you. As if Loki was sneaking away from all of his troubles. Like you were leading him to a paradise where they didn't exist. The hike was easy, with light spirits and laughter.
You grew quiet as you reached the end, and stopped altogether before stepping out onto the terrace. You stood for a moment, looking out onto the outcrop, and it occurred to Loki that this would almost certainly be your first time here without Ash. He reached down and to your hand in his. After a moment you sighed, squeezed his hand, and managed a slight smile as you looked up at him. "Come on, let's go make camp."
After a brief stop to admire the view, the both of you set to work. You pitched the tent, Loki gathered firewood, though not nearly as much would be needed this time. Spring was waning and the nights were growing warmer. Dinner was cooked and shared, and afterward Loki found himself seated on the ground, his back against a boulder near the fire. You were stretched in front of him, with your back to his chest, your head resting back against him. His arms wrapped around you and in turn your arms held his. The two of you gazed out over the landscape, which was bathed in gold and shadow as the sun began its descent. A few quiet words were shared but it seemed agreed upon that this moment was meant to simply be absorbed.
Sequestered away here with you, this was exactly the peace Loki had craved. He wanted to tell you about his dream. He wanted you to know that for him the majesty of this place was intrinsically tied to you, so much so that when he was longing for you this is where his mind brought him in his sleep. It felt like something you should know.
Before he could find where to start, you raised a hand toward the horizon. "Hey look, your star is out." The sun had begun its retreat in earnest, and the first stars were making their appearances. Just above the horizon was the one you were pointing out. "Our star." He corrected. You turned your face toward him, a brow raised. "Our star?" He nodded. "You told me it was named 'Lokabrenna', correct? My burning?" You looked back to the horizon, as if the star could explain. "Yes, that's right." "Then it is our star." He assured, leaning forward to graze his lips against the shell of your ear. "For I burn for you." You turned to him again with a wild affection in your eyes, which he could only appreciate for a moment before you pulled him to you and kissed him with a fervor that was unexpected but immediately reciprocated.
Loki felt the rise of familiar flames.

Tumblr media
I love when ppl tell me that they love my work! Is super reasuring and make me feel better!! ❤️ Thank u!!
Also, I love the prompts where is two characters in love with the same person, so thank you so much for requesting this!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Qin Shin Huang and Hades get along rather well, Qin remember Hades to his beloved brother and after a while he just start to platonically like him, while Qin since the start had treat him rather friendly and grows to admire him as a person, both grows to have a good friendship
For non of them matter if you are a god or a human, not even if you are a demigod or another kind of creature, Hades doesn't discriminate for the race and he just treat you as a equal while Qin just isn't bothered by it and just treat you like anyone else (and once you become his friend he is even more friendly and trust in you a lot)
Both of them tries to spend a lot of time with you, Hades likes your company and enjoys having you around even before developing romantic feelings, while Qin is more clingy, he is prideful and loves having little adventures so he is always draging you around to whatever he is planning to do
For both of them to develop romantic feelings for you is a slowly process but when it happens is actually pretty quickly for them to notice it
Hades is a mature and calm person, he knows himself pretty well so he almost immediatly notice the change on his feelings for you, and just like that he accept them complety with a smile. Hades will take a while before start trying to court you, being a slow start because he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable or rush things
In the other hand, Qin is more carefree and kinda childish but that doesn't stop him from noticing the growing feelings of love he holds for you, it take him a little while but when he does he accept it right away, he thinks you are amazing so it isn't weird to think that he is in love with you. Qin becomes pretty open with his feelings, he becomes a little more clingy and affectionate, is pretty obvious that he is interested on you but he never accept it if someone asks
Your sweet and kind personality makes Hades feel at peace, it makes him feel like nothing else in the world exist aside from the two of you when you two are together, and is something that he loves, Hades feels like if with every day it pass he just admire you and falls in love with you more and more
Qin loves your personality, your kindness brights his day and your sweetness make him feel the need to protect you from anything and everything, also it make him being more playfuly, he just can't get his hands out of you (like holding your hands, resting his hand in your back so you don't fall or even carrying you around if you let him) and he doesn't seem to be able to leave you alone neither, he just loves being around you a lot
It won't take much time before both find out the feelings of the other, Hades is the first one to notice for how obvious Qin is, and won't doubt in confront him, calling him irresponsable and irritating for how clingy he is and when Qin notice Hades' feelings he tease him about it, but even if it doesn't seem like much there it start a little war between them
Both are constantly having arguments over it, mainly just when one of them are monopolizing you and being possessive, Hades calls Qin an irresponsable and sometimes a danger for you, while Qin call him boring and overwhelming with all his worries. However they never fight in front of you, they don't want to upset you or anything
Sometimes they opt to spend time the three together and they get along pretty well, the two of them were already friends so it isn't too difficult to let aside the fights for a while and just enjoy each other company
Both of them are man of honor and knows when they lose, if you ever choose one of them the other will totally understand and respect your relationship, but that isn't going to happen until they end with all the ways they have to try to court you or that you directly tell them that you love one of them (non of them will ever force their feelings onto you, but Qin is more probably to insist a little longer). As well, non of them will let this afect your friendship and will continue being your friend (of both)
If you end up being in a relationship with someone else it would be pretty irritating for both of them but at the end they will be supportive towards you (to Hades will be easier to accept it than for Qin)
Even if you don't choose non of them they will respect your choise and let you be, keeping your relationship as a friendship (however there is a chance that they will try to flirt with you sometimes for a while)

The Old Gods and The New - Chapter 7
Tumblr media
Velkommen Til Tønsberg | Loki x Reader
Loki and Thor take you to see the new King of Asgard in the hopes of finding more answers. Charmed by the quaint village and welcoming Asgardians you dream of a better future there. But not everyone is friendly and they're certainly not safe.
Warnings: mostly fluffy...mind the ending. Family drama, talk of forced marriage/marriage of convenience and Reader's family. Implied sexual content, implied loss of virginity.
A/N: From here on in there's going to be talk of other panethons, specifically from Irish mythology, so I'll put a little info at the bottom of the chapter if you're interested! Other mythologies will be depicted in the same way Loki & the Asgardians are in Marvel and the MCU. This is very much a fictionalised account, although there are, like in the MCU, elements of the original stories. You don't have to read about them, but I've tried hard to embed a lot of mythology into the story so although it's easily readable without it, I think it's more fun if you know!

“So you met a woman who can set fire to stuff, makes everyone around her horny and you’ve let him,” the woman pointed at Loki, “teach her to shift and mind read?” She walked around the coffee table in the middle of the cosy living room, keeping her eyes trained on your face as if you might drag the crackling fire out of the hearth and set fire to her sofa.
“Yes - But, in my defence, she could already do a lot of it and it wasn’t my idea.” Thor gave her a massive grin, taking a butter cookie from the plate in front of him while she flopped onto the chair opposite you.
“I’m -” you paused, unsure of what to call yourself. No one had really addressed you since you arrived at the compound, should you use the name you’d discovered with Loki? When you’d dreamed of Asgard together? Or should you use your old name, the one your Grandfather gave you?
“This is Estrid.” Loki took the decision out of your hands, and you were grateful for it, leaning into his side a little for reassurance while he patted your knee.
She took your hand in both of hers and gave them a firm squeeze, her palms were soft, but there were calluses below her fingers that told you there was more to her than the oversized jumper, piles of books and well stocked bar cart could tell you.
“I’m Brunnhilde,” Brunnhilde gave you a warm smile, far more comforting than you’d expected when Thor had described the warrior on your journey to Tønsberg. He’d described the fights they’d engaged in together, her bravery during Ragnarok and her ability to lead as a fair and firm King for the new Asgardian settlement. He talked about her armour and weapons, whirling his hands around as he acted out his favourite moments from the final battle. Loki had rolled his eyes and told you that she was a skilled and proficient fighter and a sensible leader, despite Thor’s terrible caricature.
The woman before you looked softer than their stories, she was wearing an oversized knitted sweater that hung down to her thighs over tight black jeans, her hair was styled in long braids that fell over her shoulders and she fiddled with the end of one as she continued to watch you.
“Valkyrie,” Thor insisted through a mouthful of biscuit. But Brunnhilde, just rolled her eyes exaggeratedly and gave you a knowing smile, as if the antics of gods were commonplace in her life.
“You can call me Brunnhilde or Valkyrie, Val, if you like,” she had an easy manner of speaking, relaxed and welcoming, in keeping with the homey warmth of her cottage and she pushed the plate of food towards you. “Do you want to tell me about these dreams?”
The hesitancy you felt on arriving in the little fishing village began to melt away. Initially you’d been overwhelmed by the crisp, salt scent of the sea and the shock of the cold. But here, in the stone house nestled in the centre of the village, you felt at ease and allowed yourself to relax into the cushions. The atmosphere that had been so shockingly different on arrival was now settling inside of you, the clean smell sea smell of the harbour mixing with the woodsmoke in the village was familiar somehow.
You’d arrived in the dead of night while the village was asleep, tucked into the hillside with only a few lights along the dock still bright. The sea had called to you then, a wild thing that beat against the boats and rattled the stones of the shoreline until you were on the edge of the dock, leaning over into the abyss of darkness.
Loki had pulled you away and wrapped your frozen hands in his own while Thor had looked on, a knowing smile spreading across his face. But you allowed Loki to pull you close, snaking your arms around his waist and tucking yourself half inside his black wool coat. He rubbed his hands up and down your back to warm you, the press of his fingers turning into the weight of your own coat as Loki’s magic flickered over you.
You’d stood together for what felt like forever and yet not enough time at all, bathing in the darkness and the rhythmic sound of the sea as it crested and crashed on the harbour wall.
Thor was intrigued by Loki’s behaviour, he’d never seen him act in such a controlled and measured way, nor had he seen him spend more than a few days with any consort since their adolescent years in Asgard.
He was starting to think this was some sort of elaborate courtship that his brother had thought up, for once he decided he would forgo the teasing, happy to see his brother with a partner he actually approved of, and had left you in the cold air, wrapped together under Loki’s coat.
Your mind had wandered, rubbing your thumb over Loki’s cool palm, and felt his own relaxed thoughts wash over you, your cheek touched his shoulder and he lifted his arm to tuck you into his side, the movement unconsciously casual and comforting.
“Are you okay, Estrid?” The Valkyrie’s voice called to you through the memory and you sat upright again with a start. “I think I do remember you - hmm,” she paused and looked up at the ceiling. “You’re Brigid’s daughter? Right? I remember your mother, I was assigned to her guard a few times when she visited Queen Frigga.”
Her words raised goosebumps on your skin, a mother? Without thinking you grabbed at Val’s hands, pulling her to the edge of her own seat so that you could study her face, waiting for her to reveal a lie or a joke. “Show me, can I see? Please,” you begged, eyes filling with tears.
Brunnhilde flicked her dark eyes at Thor, hesitating, she had been King of the Asgardians for only a short time and although Thor was more like a brother to her now, she didn’t want to upset either Prince by revealing too many of Asgard’s secrets.
You hadn’t noticed her hesitation, your only thoughts on seeing your forgotten mother again. “I don’t remember my mother at all. What was she like?” You asked, looking around the room to see if any of them would be willing to share.
Loki, surprisingly, looked at Thor as well, a silent conversation passing between the two brothers before Thor answered.
“I don’t see the harm, after all we brought her here to learn, if this is what she requires then she should hear it.” He said, already a little bored and messing with the trinkets on the shelf beside him, hadn’t he differed his responsibilities to Valkyrie for this exact reason?
Brunnhilde leant forward and, with some encouragement from Loki, you met her halfway, your fingers hovering over her temples. “I promise I’ll just look at my mother. Just think about her a lot, when you worked for her, what you saw.”
Loki’s hand found your knee and squeezed, “Remember, Asynja, calm." You concentrated on his breathing, on his scent, on the feel of his trousers below your own hand and closed your eyes.
She appeared out of the gloom, a tall woman with fiery red hair in a mass of curls flowing down her back. Her clothes reminded you of your dreams, airy and bright. She had a gold crown on her head adorned with gemstone flowers, tulips, daffodils and snowdrops mixed with clover and daisies. On her back a sage green Cape trailed behind her and from one corner peaked a little face.
“My baby, you stay in there, safe and sound,” her voice was like warm salted caramel, sweet, burning with love and measured by her strength. A fierceness behind it that would surely scald anyone coming too close. Behind her strode the Valkyrie in their armour, as they marched through the corridors of Asgard to Frigga’s chambers.
Once inside the luxurious chambers, a little face peaked out again.
“Mother?”
“It is safe, Estrid. You may come out. This is my friend, Queen Frigga. You are to stay with her a while.” The other woman held out her hand, her fingers adorned with all manner of shining gems and opaque turquoise, her hair flowed from a golden diadem, but she was dressed casually in a sky blue dress, draped around her shoulders and elbows. A Queen, yes, but a mother also.
“Estrid, you  very welcome here in Asgard. May I present my son, Loki. He has similar talents. Perhaps he could show you the palace.” A shaggy head of black hair peered around Frigga’s legs. “I have another son, Thor, but my dear Brigid tells me that you love to read and walk, rather than fight and wrestle,” she paused, tugging Loki forward, and bent between you both, “my darling Loki can show you his library, he will be sure to share.” She gave Loki a little nudge forward and dipped her chin at him.
With practised steps he moved towards the little girl, “Princess” he bowed, formally, looking back up at his mother for approval. Frigga patted the boy on the shoulder and he hid behind her skirts again.
“Prince," you gave a shy curtsy, holding the folds of your elaborate dress as you moved, your memories drifted towards him and away from your parents. Your juvenile conversations floating through lazy mornings within his library, giggling together while you spied on the court from the gallery. The clothes that Loki had created for you with a glimmer of magic so that you could climb the same trees and tumble down the same hills, splashing together in the fountains of the gardens until his governess chased you back into the palace.
Your small hands clasped together as he walked you through the halls of Asgard, the sheen of sweat on his brow when you ran together through the gardens, hazy and warm and glittering with gold it morphed into a lazy dream, full of clouds and the endless sky and…
The dream faded and Val pulled away.
“You’re distracted.” She looked at Loki and narrowed her eyes. “Loki was very important to you back then, and I see that he still is," she gave Loki a sly smile, “but he’s distracting you. Bugger off and annoy someone else please." She waved the two princes away.
Loki kissed your hand and stood to walk out with Thor. He had the same shy, boyish smile that you'd seen in your memory. The one that had made you feel welcome and at peace. He lingered, unsure about whether he could push his affection further than a kiss on the cheek. You hadn’t discussed your evening together, but he longed to keep you in his arms. Meeting his eyes you allowed your mind to wander to his and he bent over you on the sofa, his hands either side of your head, and lowered his face to yours. Brushing his nose against your cheek he kissed you softly.
“I’ll come for you? I can show you the people." He suggested, “I’ll meet you at the harbour when you’re finished.”
“They’re my people now, don’t forget!” Brunnhilde called after him.
“How could I!” He bowed low, “my Queen." His tone was filled with sarcasm as well as mirth. With a final wink Thor pulled him out of the door.
Brunnhilde rolled her eyes and then turned her attention back to the tea tray, pouring a cup for you both. She settled back into her chair and tucked her feet up under her.
“Brigid was a wonderful Goddess, a Queen herself really, but here on Midgard,” Val took a deep breath and sighed it out, “she made the flames dance, brought the spring and the flowers, and protected the land during winter. She took care with all her subjects and friends, her matchmaking skills, in particular,  were something to behold. She helped Frigga and Odin in their early courtship and had many friends across the nine realms and the Otherworld.” Brunnhilde stopped to look at you, your wide eyes glistening as you listened. “Is this bringing any memories back?” She dunked a biscuit into her tea and watched you as she ate.
“Yes, a little.” A tear started to fall slowly down your cheek, pooling on your lip, a bittersweet taste of a grief and longing you still couldn't truly comprehend, couldn’t even remember. “She had a cloak,” you wrapped your arms around yourself, “I always felt so safe in there.”
“That’s because it was safe, it created a protection around those who wore it, or who were under it. She used it to protect the land during winter, but when she had to hide you it worked for you too.”
“Did she hide me here? Is that why I don’t remember?”
“Oh no, she used to hide you on Asgard, mostly, but you visited other realms too.”
“So is she still hiding in it? Is that why we’re not together?”
Brunnhilde reached out and patted your arm, “no, she’s not hiding in it. I’m sorry to tell you, she died, and she took all of her magic and secrets with her. The cloak was never Asgardian to begin with, so we couldn't have looked for it, though Frigga tried. It's been lost for a long time, but I'd bet if it's anywhere, it's here on Midgard, waiting for you."
You nodded, contemplating the possibility that it may be out there and, if it was, it was yours now. A Goddess’ cloak.
Just the thought of it made you feel dizzy. You sipped your tea, allowing the warmth of it to spread through you before you built the courage to ask your next question.
“How did she die?” The question squeaked out of you, barely a whisper, and you found yourself curling into the cushions of the sofa as you spoke.
“I wish I knew." Brunnhilde looked sincere and you could feel the sorrow radiating from her as her eyes misted, "she brought you back to Asgard many times, sometimes she would stay and you would holiday around the city, sometimes she would leave you under the Queen’s care. The last time you visited you were just of age, celebrating your birthday and looking forward to your ascension. She left to speak to a potential suitor in Vanaheim, your mother and Frigga had many friends there, and together they sought someone who could match your spirit, but provide you protection, a good match."
"A good match?"
"I know it's a lot to take in, but you were, are, a very important child not just to your mother, but to us all. Children are rare in the Nine Realms, especially among the Aesir, skilled children are rarer."
"Skilled?"
"Your magic. When you first came to Asgard you were wild and untamed. Frigga helped you to channel your energy and taught you alongside her own sons. I believe Loki is helping you again now, but there was a time you trained together. And that kind of magic, in the hands of the wrong realm, the wrong husband. It could've been catastrophic."
"Husband, why would I have to have a husband?!" You were incensed, "why couldn't I just train and be by myself."
"It was a difficult time for the Nine Realms, for us all, a time of change. But you were as angry then as you are now, I’m pleased to see you haven’t lost any of your fire.” Angry as you were, you could see that Brunnhilde was telling the truth, and there was no teasing or malice in the way she looked at you.
The King sat her cup down an came to sit beside you, bringing your hand up to the side of her face, she opened her memories again.
You were sat in Frigga’s private chambers, a fire glowing in the grate, wine, fruit and bread on the table. Frigga held you close, patting your hair and singing a soft lullaby.
“My dear, you are still so young to lose a mother and we will always be here for you. But you must listen to the wishes of your court, and of your King at least consider his plans. A chaperone and entourage are being sent to take you home.”
“I won’t go with them, I barely know him. Why won’t Odin let me stay?” You sobbed.
“He will not overrule your father. There will be a ball for you, and then your Father will come and collect you. I imagine you will be introduced to your betrothed and then your ascension will begin, you will be crowned and named to solidify your position."
Brunnhilde pulled away, she was unsure of how the evening played out any further, you had fled the room and not returned. Frigga had asked her to look for you when your maids said you were not in your bed. The Valkyrie had assumed you remained in the castle, but to no avail. To Brunnhilde’s knowledge you had hidden yourself all night, returning in the morning in sodden clothes, covered in soil and grass, and had assumed you’d spent the night in the gardens, perhaps sleeping in one of the follies scattered around the hedges.
You slid back against the sofa cushions, lost in your own memory, eyes shut but twitching as if in deep sleep. Brunnhilde draped a blanket over your lap and propped your head onto a cushion, leaving you to your memories.
You stood, tossing aside the blankets and sheets and carefully opened the doors of your balcony. Long since a trellis had been built into the stone wall outside and you used it, as always, to climb down from your rooms into the quiet of the gardens. Out in the night, the lanterns led the way slowly fading as you moved further from the safety of the palace until you were in darkness surrounded by the trees at the edge of the palace land. Above you the forest loomed, foreboding and fascinating all at once. You expected to be alone, out in the night, but as you slowed to a halt, panting breaths that circled you in the midnight air, a voice called to you through the manicured lawns and trained roses, echoing from the mountain behind you, sad and low.
Loki’s arms found your waist, pulling you back against his chest. Firm and real in the ethereal night, and took your weight as you cried again.
“My darling, please, you can not leave me here." He begged, nuzzling into your neck and breathing you in. You could smell him too, your memory so vivid that it filled your senses.
“What choice do I have?" You sagged further into his hold, his strong arms keeping you against his chest.
Together you tumbled to the ground. Loki kept you close in his lap, attempting to stop your skirts from catching in the grass and mud, but you pushed them away, taking his wrists and placing his hands on your waist. With panting breaths you stared at each other, the moonlight glowing in his eyes. Then he kissed you. With no hesitation, no shyness. His tongue licking into your mouth and claiming you.
You fell into his kisses, the moss below you becoming a blanket as he lay you down. You pulled him closer, sinking into the feeling of his magic as it surrounded you, allowing him to mould himself to your body.
“Your dress, it will be noticed," he mumbled, pulling the silk and chiffon back onto the blanket.
“If I have to leave in a week, why should I care what anyone thinks? I’ll never be allowed to live again. And I want to live Loki, I want to be free!” Your hands were on his shoulders, in his hair, on his arms pulling him closer, clinging to him as if to life itself.
“You are still a Princess, soon you'll be a Queen too. I should take you back to the palace.” He propped himself up on his elbow, warring with himself over whether to take you back to your chambers or keep you here forever. Loki was losing his fight, confusion writ across his normally controlled expression. Your kisses tasted like wine and figs, intoxicating and enticing. He had held himself back for so long, kept his feelings deeply hidden for so long he was struggling to keep his hands from you.
“Is that not enough for you, my Prince? Or is it because you are a God? Am I not Goddess enough?” You started to sit up, confused in the depths of your emotions. If you weren't enough then you wouldn't be humiliated.
“My darling, my Princess, my Queen, Ásynja. I would worship at your feet." He insisted, cupping your cheeks, his eyes swirling with need, with desire, with something you couldn't name. "But you will have to hold court here, you must be respected as the Goddess of Spring, there is some purity required," he hinted, his hands clenching in the swirling fabric at your waist.
Loki kissed across your brow, your nose, your cheeks, every kiss more reverent than the last. Filled with the love he was too frightened to name.
You laughed, a harsh bark compared to the usually tinkling lilt of your joy, “Is that what you think they’ll crown me? Because of my mother?”
You felt him nod against your neck, pressing his lips against your pulse, enjoying the taste of you while he could, before he let you go.
“What else could you be? How could you be anything but pure love and joy, there is no other who could replace her, it has to be you,” his hands played with the jewels that seemed to eternally adorn your hair, turning each pink diamond green beneath his touch.
“Lust. That’s what I've heard I will be, a humiliation, a jest. What do you get when you marry spring and fertility with chaos and brawling? Lust, he said, violent lust. And I shall marry a war lord from Vanaheim too, to confirm my position. He made it clear I wasn’t to fall in love while I was here, I must keep myself pure so that my lord may enjoy his wife to the fullest." You ground your teeth, tearing at the blanket beneath you. "His greatest trick. Naming his own daughter Goddess of Lust as a - as a - as a virgin." Your face screwed up in anger, sobs wracking you as you thought of giving yourself so intimately to your betrothed. But Loki stopped.
“You love me?” He asked, suddenly shy, his grasping hands holding you close.
You met his gaze again, soft and full of admiration. “Endlessly,” you breathed, and he lay you back down among the moss, the growing flowers and new shoots, the warm sun rising and the scent of spring surrounding you.
You woke to Brunnhilde stoking the fire, the curtains drawn now and the lights low. She smiled as you stirred and came to sit beside you again.
“Pleasant dreams, were they?” She asked, raising an eyebrow, and you felt hot suddenly, even without the crackling fire.
“I still have so many questions,” you pondered on what you needed answered first.
“My father? Was he cruel?” You asked, curling your feet under yourself and tucking one of Brunnhilde's many blankets over your knees.
"I never met him properly." Brunnhilde admitted, though a little awkwardly. "I know he was a god here on Midgard, and that your mother kept you closely guarded on Asgard while he was holding court here. I believe it was an arranged match, and there was no love between them. It was perhaps why she was so keen to see you well married, in the end. But I haven't seen him, not since he took you back."
Married. You had already found out that you were a Goddess, what would be marriage compared to that? To some unknown war lord no less, perhaps he would already be dead. But it was some comfort to know that, even then, you had given your heart and soul to Loki instead.
Brunnhilde watched you, waiting for the next question.
“You said Loki meant a lot to me. Will you show me?” You felt the heat of embarrassment creep up your spine, you knew exactly what he meant, but you had to know whether it was a dalliance born of extreme emotion, or something more.
The King looked awkward for a moment. “I didn’t see a lot of it. You were both private, but also royalty. I wasn’t there, but I do  remember the last ball you attended together, the one in your honour. He danced with you the whole night and refused any other offer, the court was abuzz with whispers of your courtship.  Your father was angry that you'd allowed yourself to become the subject of gossip and he took you early in the morning before anyone else was awake. You had planned a final breakfast on the terrace with the Princes and the Queen, Loki was distraught for a day and then it was as if you were never there. No one spoke of you, and Frigga made it clear your name was never to enter the gossip of court again, for everyone’s safety."
The whole thing had been so odd, all you wanted to do was speak to Loki and share your new knowledge with him, to see if he could remember it too. Brunnhilde called Thor while you layered your coat and scarf on again, tugging your boots on with one hand on the wall in the small hallway.
She stood in the doorway as you left, and directed you away from her cosy home, back towards the harbour and to another stone cottage before she closed the door for the night, leaving you to your thoughts.
You walked slowly across the small village, enjoying the crisp air and the bob of the boats in the harbour. It was calm here, away from the world, and you contemplated asking Loki if you could continue your training here instead of returning to the bustle of the compound.
"Princess Estrid,” a deep voice said behind you. The title was new and brittle, but you assumed it must be another Asgardian, perhaps someone you once knew and, with a new found excitement, you turned to them with a smile.
“Yes?"
And then everything went black.

Gods & Goddess' mentioned.
This is just from my own reading, I'm by no means an expert, just a fan, so if you know more and want to talk to me please send me a message/ask!
Brigid - beloved Goddess from the Tuatha Dé Danann. Brigid is often cited as the goddess of spring, the dawn, fertility. Brigid is so popular she was made into a Saint as Christianity became more widespread. She's often linked to a magical cloak which gives protection to those that wear it, you can leave cloth outside of your house on Imbolc for her to bless and in some stories it's her cloak that covers the ground during winter. She's also linked to cattle and craftsmen (including metal work and those that use fire), mothers and children.
Brigid is well loved and celebrated still as a Pagan Goddess and Christian Saint.

Ok, so reader is the daughter of Poseidon and Medusa, she’s going up against her father in ragnarok, he and the other gods didn’t know that she existed. She hates Poseidon and Athena for what they did to her mother and aunts. She has the powers of Medusa. And I think it’d be cute if her and Hercules got along. And if you can implement her saying ‘oh ya my brother is a horse with wings and I was born from my mothers decapitated head’ would be cool. Basically how would the Greek gods react to her?
-You cracked your knuckles, a slight glare in your sharp reptilian eyes, trying to keep yourself calm, not wanting to lose yourself to your rage just yet.
-Kojiro put a friendly hand on your shoulder and your snakes that made up your hair quickly stretched out to pepper him with kisses, making him laugh.
-He could see that you were fidgety, and for good reason, the two of your were partnered up to take on Poseidon and Athena in a doubles battle, and everything was telling you to take revenge for your mother and your aunts.
-Hercules approached from behind the both of you, “Y/N?” you turned, your eyes bright and sparkly, “Big brother!!” he grinned, catching you as you leapt into his arms. He had found you as a child and took you in, raising you after he found out who you were, finding you alongside your biological big brother, Pegasus.
-Hercules was initially hesitant on letting you fight as he and Kojiro could both sense your anger, wanting your revenge, but you were fighting it, trying not to lose yourself  to your rage.
-Poseidon and Athena entered first, both looking annoyed at this competition, as it was pointless, as humans were always going to be weaker than gods.
-When Heimdall introduced the two of you, introducing you as the daughter of Poseidon and Medusa, the shock and outrage was very apparent all over the stadium, as none of the gods, save a few like Hercules and the Valkyrie, knew about you.
-Poseidon’s eyes were wide as you glared hard, your snakes flashing their red eyes at the both of them, he had no idea he had a daughter!
-Athena smirked over at you, trying to rile you up, “I had no idea that Medusa had a child.” You folded your arms across your chest, “Yeah, me and my brother were born after she was decapitated, after you raped her, and after you punished her instead of her rapist, the bastard standing next to you.”
-Even though you were his daughter biologically, you had no love for your father, and you didn’t give two shits about him.
-The crowds roared with outrage, many remember the truth with your mother, that Poseidon, a god, raped your mother, a human priestess, and instead of punishing the man who raped her priestess and defiled her temple, Athena punished your mother, turning her into a monster.
-Their embarrassment was very apparent, getting called out by both humans and some gods, angry at their actions. Kojiro was silent, holding onto one of your hands, keeping you grounded, his thumb stroking the back of your hand gently as you continued, “You really expected a human to be able to fight off a god? Why didn’t you help her? And you- why do you and that whore of a brother of yours think that you can take any woman you want just because you’re gods? You ain’t entitled to jack-shit!!”
-Kojiro was fighting off his laughter while Hercules was facepalming, even though he raised you with tons of love and care, you somehow had gotten quite the potty mouth.
-Poseidon grew angry at your insolence, as he demanded respect from you, despite not knowing you, while Athena was red faced, hearing the jeers all around her, many asking her the same thing, wanting to know why she didn’t save your mother instead of letting her get raped and then turning her into a monster.
-Zeus had a rather guilty look on his face, getting called out as well for his past romantic escapades, especially since he was getting called out by his niece that he didn’t even know existed.
-Kojiro went for Poseidon while you charged for Athena, holding one of your mother’s swords and she had to admit you were quite strong.
-She blocked a blow of yours after you managed to knock her down, sparks flying from the clashing of weapons and she looked up and instantly froze, seeing you in tears, your eyes narrowed in a glare, “Why didn’t you save her?!”
-Athena kicked you back, sending you head over heels before leaping to your feet, “You wouldn’t understand!” the two of you became the stars of the battle as you both went on the attack, “What wouldn’t I understand?! You just didn’t want to deal with handling your uncle defiling one of your temples! It was easier to blame and throw out the victim than deal with that fucker!!”
-She glared hard and threw you back again, closer to Poseidon who managed to knock Kojiro down and he charged for you, not to kill you, but to discipline you. You easily spun and delivered the mother of all bitch slaps across his face, feeling your mother and your aunts giving you strength, sending him flying back.
-As the two gods faded away about ten minutes later, Kojiro and you standing victorious, but instead of feeling satisfaction, tears were easily slipping down your cheeks, feeling anguish.
-Poseidon watched you until he disappeared completely, feeling remorse as he had never gotten to know you.
-Kojiro and Hercules held you tightly as you bawled into your partner’s chest, feeling nothing but more rage, it didn’t make you feel better, if anything it made you more upset. Hercules felt guilty as he stroked your cheek gently, dabbing your tears away again, as you spoke, “You were right, I don’t feel better!”
-He pecked your forehead gently, feeling the kisses of your snakes, “I’m sorry Y/N, but I knew you wouldn’t understand if you didn’t realize this yourself.” You nodded softly, sniffling again, closing your eyes as the one good thought came into your mind, that your father and that bitch Athena wouldn’t be able to hurt anyone ever again.

"Time & the Trickster" A Loki/Doctor Who crossover
Tumblr media
Chapter 12: The Three Time Lords
After weeks of travel, heightened emotions, and strange happenings, you finally arrive at the TARDIS' doors, ready to send Loki home. Things don't go smoothly when you discover that The Doctor isn't alone.
CHAPTER WARNING (18+): none
Previous Chapter · Next Chapter MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
It was impossible to believe that the film set in Cardiff could compare to the sheer scale and size of the TARDIS’ interior. Your jaw was on the ground.
You weren’t expecting the green tint to everything, but before you even stepped inside, the brightness of the lights almost robbed you of sight. As your pupils adjusted, you took two steps in and were immediately accosted by too many sounds and smells. The ceiling was higher than any cathedral, and stairwells branched off in three different directions, leading to hallways that, in turn, led to points unknown within the bowels of the ship. The console chugged away somewhat lethargically in the center of the chamber.
And it still had the ‘round things’ on the walls.
“Oh, this is damn cool,” you said, your mood almost immediately shifting gears as you felt like a child entering DIsneyland for the first time. “This is---!” You trailed off, realizing two things at once.
First: Loki was no longer at your side. He’d never stepped over the threshold. Why was he hesitating?
Was it because of the second detail?
Because secondly, The Doctor was standing at the top of the set of metal steps, looking down as you let yourself in, looking starstruck at you. He was exactly as every episode and image you’d seen of David Tennant suggested: tallish, rather thin-framed, but always radiating large amounts of happy, practically whimsical energy. His presence alone added a little sunshine to your mood.
Holy fuck, you thought. Another dead ringer, for sure!
“Oh, hi…” you managed to squeak before The Doctor scrambled down the steps, his sneakers barely touching the ground. He yanked your arm, vigorously shaking your hand with a wide, genuine grin on his face.
“Another one who can see the inside! Brilliant! I’m The Doctor! Welcome to the TARDIS!” he spoke so quickly you had to take a moment to put the spaces between his words. Before you could answer him, he made eye contact with something behind your shoulder: Loki. “And are you…can you really be…nooooo! Loki, Norse God of Mischief himself?! Blimey!”
“Yes! But how did you--?”
He stepped around you like you were a statue in his way. As he reached for Loki’s hand to pull him inside, the TARDIS console sparked. At the same moment, Loki yelped “Aaaaaahhhh!”, quickly grabbing the wrapped stone and tossing it on the floor in front of The Doctor.
You all looked at each other with the same concern. The Doctor nodded. “Right, don't think we have much time for pleasantries, as much as I’d love to make a cup of tea and talk Ragnarok over jammie dodgers. I’m sure you’re aware we have a situation.”
He led you and Loki inside. “Oh, what’s that?” he asked, pointing at the stone.
“It’s a time stone,” Loki explained. “There is much you need to know before we save the multiverse.”
“What do you know?” asked The Doctor. “And I’m sorry, I’m being so rude, I forgot to ask your name!” He tapped your shoulder.
“Oh, it’s Y/N.”
“Fantastic to meet you!”
The Doctor was instantly everything you hoped he’d be. Not just because he resembled the actor you admired who portrayed him on BBC, but because he radiated the same friendly energy, a little fast for your pace, but it was easy to just accept the whirlwind of intensity that was the Time Lord as he examined you with spy glasses and pokes.
He treated Loki like a celebrity, offering him cookies and tea while bombarding him with too many questions all at once. “Oh, I’ve read all the myths, of course, but I have to wonder how you managed to slip your stories into the early days of humanity when you’re a whole realm away from them! What’s your secret? How does one turn themselves into a legend?”
Loki smiled and looked a little flattered. “Well, it’s quite simple, really…”
“So, does anyone see that sky?” you asked, running a hand through your hair nervously.
It was difficult for you to keep focus enough to help Loki tell The Doctor your story. The TARDIS’ insides were just so beautiful and big! I hope Joey finds a place to park. He needs to see this.
A tear came to your eye. Your parents would have no words for what their children were seeing and living. It was the first time you’d thought of them since you bailed Loki out of prison on your birthday, nearly two months ago. Your father would have been thrilled for you and Joey. Your mother would have probably goaded you into flirting with Loki a lot sooner. They both loved The Doctor, as well as old Marvel comics, which was why you and your brother loved them so.
You could feel them beaming with pride from whatever multiverse timeline they were still alive in. And you had to believe they were alive in one.
“Right,” said Loki, slipping a hand about your waist. “Time is of the essence.”
“It always is,” added The Doctor with a solemn sigh.
In thirty or so minutes, you and Loki had successfully explained everything to The Doctor, finishing with your need to get to the TVA and fix the timelines. He seemed to absorb the information with an unbiased ear, yet you got the feeling that whenever you mentioned Sylvie to him, it made him hold his breath and tense up. The Doctor absorbed everything before asking questions, but there were about a thousand of them on the tip of his tongue.
However, he was also already concocting a scheme. You could tell from the look on his face.
“The stone and the TARDIS may be different forms of time travel on different scales, but they still operate on the overarching concept of non-linear time jumping or reversing, and whether or not paranormal abilities are functional within any given universe, the existence of time travel at all transcends the timelines and allows the two different entities to react and feed off one another!”
“Habbawhat?” you mumbled, unable to follow any of the technobabble. It wasn’t often that you could follow it in the context of the show, either.
“Even if your people don’t understand how time travel works, it still exists,” Loki explained. The Doctor grinned.
“You are brilliant! A time-traveling ageless alien god who goes off on adventures, eh? Are you sure you’re not a Time Lord?” he teased with an elfin grin that stretched his cheek muscles as it spread from ear to ear.
He looked at you again. “It means if we throw the stone into the time vortex, it will lead the TARDIS out of this timeline and back to its point of origin!” declared The Doctor. “As long as you are inside the ship, of course,” he indicated to Loki. “We just need to get it to the Vortex Chamber!”
“Where is that?” you asked. “And what is that? Don't recall it popping up in any episode…unless you count that bastardization of a TV movie.”
The Doctor searched his brain for an explanation your simple human brain could process. “It’s where the vortex pulls the TARDIS, like a petrol tank. It’s down at the very bottom, so we’d better hurry if we want to get everything back to normal before it’s too late.”
“Once we throw his stone into the vortex, it’ll bring us back to the TVA, where Loki was last?” you asked. “We’re all leaving this reality?”
The Doctor nodded vigorously. “We won’t be able to dawdle long there, but yes, I’ll be taking you off or native timeline. It’s got to work, it’s our only shot.”
Your heart pounded with hope. Perhaps you could just refuse to go back, or even take Joey with you and just keep walking around the Realms with Loki as a terrific trio writing their own legends.
“But there’s one thing I don’t get…” he trailed off.
Loki shrugged. “What is it?”
“Sylvie,” The Doctor mentioned. “You said she has to take her place on the Throne of Time, but what about you, Loki? Don’t you think the one who started this whole mess has to be the one to mop it up?” He emphasized the last syllable with a pop of his lips.
Your skin went cold. He was suspicious. He either wasn’t buying your story, or something in his mind had made itself up already, and it wasn’t fully on your side.
“Loki’s given enough to the Universe,” you said lowly. “Sylvie caused all of this, so it truly needs to be her.”
“What do you mean, this was all her doing?” asked The Doctor, his eyebrow raised. “I thought--”
You were beginning to grow frustrated, trying to put everything into the most obvious terms before too much time was wasted going back-and-forth. “--we have to get back to the TVA so we can get Sylvie to where she needs to be--”
“--and where is that?”
“We aren’t alone!” said Loki, suddenly, whipping his body around.
The Doctor looked past your shoulder, and you turned your head to follow his gaze.
Your heart dropped into your bowels when you saw Sylvie reveal herself. Blonde with small intense eyes locked on Loki, she was trying to radiate the most dominant energy her small body could produce. Sylvie wore a gray trench coat and an outdated blonde mullet. She was better looking than you’d hoped, but the sight of her coming slowly up the stairs to the console made you puff out your chest and spread your feet.
“I believe you two know each other,” said The Doctor.
“Sylvie!” Loki proclaimed, with more relief in his voice than disdain or surprise.
“Loki!” she said back, neutrally.
“Oh no,” you growled angrily through your teeth, wishing you had a weapon to brandish. Your eyes darted around the room, falling on the TARDIS console, where the Sonic Screwdriver lay useless.
Just looking at her made your blood boil. You looked irritably at The Doctor. “You let this bitch out of her cage, Doctor?”
“Excuse you?” Sylvie asked, her mouth falling open in disbelief.
“What are you doing here?” asked Loki, sounding out of breath from the shock of seeing her.
“I think you know that already.”
“We’re on to you,” you warned, stepping assertively in front of Loki. “Both of us! And The Doctor is about to be.”
“He knows everything about Loki and the TVA,” Sylvie answered. “He knows why I’m here.”
“And what misguided bullshit reason have you concocted to get him onto your side?” you asked. “We all know you’re a goddamn liar.” You frantically whipped your head back to the skinny alien in a suit. “You do know she’s a goddamn liar?”
“Y/N, maybe you should stand down,” Loki suggested, pulling your shoulder back so that you leaned back against his chest. “Remember what I said…she’s more dangerous than you think.”
You took a sarcastically long look at her. “So far, I’m not impressed.”
The Doctor snickered in spite of himself, and Sylvie pouted her lip. “It’s time to go back to our world, Loki. You can’t run from your destiny any more than the rest of us can.”
“LIAR!” you spat, throwing out an accusatory finger. “It’s YOUR destiny, and you chose it! I bet you told The Doctor that Loki was the only one who could sit at the throne!”
“How did you even get here, Sylvie?” asked Loki.
Sylvie reached into her pocket, reaching for something. When she looked confused for a moment, clearly not finding what she was thinking lay within her coat, she shook her head, not needing it. “Doesn't matter. I'm here.”
You turned to The Doctor. “Has she told you all this was Loki’s fault? When it was her ultimate choice to sacrifice every timeline in order to satisfy her revenge itch?”
“I’m sorry, what?” asked The Doctor.
Loki nodded. “I spent a very long time going back to the Citadel over and over, to that crucial moment when she made her choice to kill Kang,” he explained. “I tried to stop her, talk her out of it. I even fully told her the consequences of her actions. She never veered from her course.”
The time lord bit his lip and looked distant, as if making thousands of calculations in his mind all at the same moment. “You should know that not everything that’s a fixed moment in time is an event,” he said quietly. “Once in a while, a fixed moment is a choice. The person making the pivotal decision cannot be swayed no matter what is done.”
“Meaning?” you asked, flicking your wrists impatiently, refusing to take your eyes off of the silent Sylvie.
“Think about it,” he continued, “sometimes when a decision is made, it affects so much of history and time that altering course would prove disastrous.”
Loki looked around, throwing his arm out dramatically to the sides. “And this isn’t disastrous?”
“The goddamn sky is falling!” you complained. “And it’s still her fault that it is!”
Sylvie groaned. “It was--”
“--shut up, Sylvie!” you barked in impatient warning. “Talk again and I will lose it on you, I swear.”
Loki’s grip on your shoulder tightened. “What was the MORE disastrous alternative?” he asked.
“It’s hard to say, but it’s what’s meant to happen, even if we don’t believe it, Loki,” The Doctor said, narrowing his eyes with seriousness. It frightened you to see his chipper personality drop. “Sometimes the consequences are dark, but they could always be darker. Sylvie’s refusal to change her mind likely indicates that stopping her would birth a more dangerous result?”
“Like?”
The Doctor sighed. “Don’t you think there have been travelers who’ve tried to convince the Fine Arts Academy of Vienna to accept one Adolf Hitler? Or stop Mr. Oppenheimer from developing his doomsday device?” He was still looking back and forth between the three of you. “I think we all need to focus on getting everything fixed before reality folds in upon itself!”
Ignoring his monologue, you stood your ground against your foil. “You’re a selfish little shit, Sylvie, and you won’t admit to yourself that we’ve got you figured out.” The declaration felt like sweet honey dripping off your tongue the moment you said it. “You came here trying to wrangle him before it all came to hell and everyone turned to you to sacrifice your freedom. You didn’t want to wait for OB and Mobius to declare that Loki was gone, and that you had to step up and take his place, eh?”
Sylvie didn’t confirm or deny your charge.
“Well guess what? He’s going back, but only to put you in your place, you chicken shit poor-ass excuse for a heroine.” The powerful words ran through your veins like electricity, even if they weren’t exactly making you sound dignified.
“Who the hell are you?” asked Sylvie, narrowing her eyes as her skin began to turn pink.
You puffed up your chest again. “I’m the best thing that ever happened to him, woman.”
Loki smiled with a brief chuckle, which surprised his variant.
“I brought him here so that The Doctor could send him home,” you continued. “I chose to trust him and work with him, even if it meant I had to lose something in the end. Unlike you, I was able to set aside my own needs for him and for the good of existence. It was something that you should have done first.”
“Apparently it was the right thing to do this whole time!” Sylvie said with a small, smug smile.
You boiled over, taking several large steps forward and ripping yourself away from Loki’s hold. Threatened, Sylvie pulled out a long dagger and raised it to you, which seemed to surprise even The Doctor.  “WHOA! Blimey, can we all just bring it down about forty notches while we figure out the green sky and the planet’s crumbling mantle?”
Hissing, you went to pounce. “Okay, that’s it, you cu--”
“--Y/N!” Loki raised his voice, wrapping his arm around your torso, holding you yet closer to him. He softly kissed your ear, the gentler touch soothing your anger just enough to keep you civil.
Sylvie noticed the gesture of affection and laughed, turning the knife over in her hand. “Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me! Is this really all about romance?”
“I don’t expect you to understand what love is,” you continued to snark, at least until The Doctor threw up a hand.
“Alright, everyone, I think that’s plenty of time getting to know each other,” The Doctor interjected, throwing up his hands and stepping in between you and Sylvie slowly. “We need to get the stone to the time vortex quickly!”
Loki patted your shoulder before letting you go, moving around you to try and approach Sylvie. She held the dagger up, her eyes moving from one of you to the next, until she sucked in her breath.
 “No. I don’t think I will.”
Suddenly, the TARDIS shook violently, and it was all any of you could do to keep yourself on your feet. Your skin froze. The Doctor looked crestfallen. Loki’s face and body were glued.
“Sylvie? Why not?” asked The Doctor.
“Take me off this reality just so you can force me to give up my freedom? I’d rather die in this pathetic little world than be lifted up as the ultimate example of comeuppance, like a witch being thrown in an oven and everyone cheering.”
You puckered your lips and murmured, “If the witch hat fits--”
“I don’t see it that way!” said Loki. “You would be saving all of us!”
She shook her head, lurching forward when another quake hit the TARDIS, sending you and The Doctor flying back onto your asses, and Loki flying forward onto the railing.
“You know where I want to be, Loki, where I need to be,” Sylvie said, softening her voice but only holding her weapon out further in front of her, the point aiming straight at your gut.”If I didn’t change my actions then, I certainly won’t now, now that I’ve seen what I want for myself!”
“Loki, throw me the stone! I can take it!” you called, throwing up your hand. “It won’t burn me because I’m not you!”
“NO!” Sylvie grunted, lunging at you, knocking Loki over in the process. “I’m so sick of you!”
“Y/N!” yelled Loki, just as the TARDIS shook for a third time. This time the small bits of ceiling falling over were much larger chunks.
“Oh, no no no!” The Doctor whined. “MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!”
As you fell into The Doctor's arms, Sylvie tried for you again, but Loki blocked her path with his body. The Doctor pulled you to your feet, his jaw on the floor watching Sylvie struggle against The Doctor, beginning to swing her blade at him in order to overpower his hold on her.
“Well, guess you were right,” he said understatedly. “Now…” He grabbed your hand as Sylvie broke free of Loki and got to her feet, her eyes still trained on you.  “...run!”
The now-constant quaking of the TARDIS made running down the stairs and into one of the corridors difficult, your balance throwing you all over the railing and floors. It was all Loki could do to chase after Sylvie as she pursued you and The Doctor.
Letting him lead you, The Doctor wove around tight corners, through open doors, down stairs, deeper and deeper into the hull of the TARDIS, and every floor you passed, it got darker and darker. The shakes got more violent the further and further you went.
“Are we leading them to the vortex room?” you asked, panting, looking behind you as you could hear Sylvie and Loki give chase some meters behind.
Before he could answer you, The Doctor tumbled to the ground followed by you landing on top of him. The biggest quake yet was making the wall of the ship crumble, and you and the time lord narrowly avoided being crushed. You could hear Loki holler your name before the loud boom of crashing rock and wall flooded your ears, causing you to cringe and turn away as you and The Doctor scrambled to your feet.
Once the dust subsided, the hallway was blocked off, separating you and Loki, but also you and Sylvie.
“Oh no,” you whispered. “They have the stone!”
“Y/N!” Loki cried again.
“We’re okay!” You answered. “We’ll find another way out!”
The Doctor tugged silently on your sleeve, leading you away from the newly-created barricade and down a hallway.
“I don't know how we’re going to move this TARDIS if she won’t relinquish the stone,” you said sadly. “And the minute we get back to the console, she’s going to run me through like the Dread Pirate Roberts before I can scream.”
The Doctor smiled in spite of the dire circumstances, pulling something out of his pocket. It looked like the time stone, only it was a shade of green that favored gray, with a long crack down the middle.
“It’s hers,” he admitted. “I haven’t fully trusted her since she knocked on my door, if I’m being completely honest, so I used my wonderful time lord sleight-of-hand magic to take it off her before she went off the other day and replaced it with a lookalike!”
“But it won’t work unless it’s been in her hands,” you whispered.
“Well, it’s a way to get her where we want her,” said the skinny alien. “Better than having her chasing us all over the place. She’ll head us off instead.”
Your mouth fell open. “So we can still--”
The Doctor suddenly peeked his head back around the corner and raised his voice. “Yes, this other stone of hers will work too, if we can just get down to the vortex room!”
Almost reflexively, you could hear lightweight boots taking off, followed by a second set.
“We’ve got her!” said The Doctor.
You nearly laughed. “That was brilliant!”
He nodded in thanks. “It’s been known to happen.”

14. “Need some help, shortie?”
Buddha loved to sit in nature surrounded by animals and plants, so exploring the gardens built in the arena was his favorite thing from the beginning of the first fight. He always sat under the trees with his favorite sweets, and sometimes he just took short naps; very often between conversations with other gods or the eldest Valkyrie and her younger sister.
Currently there was a battle between the most powerful sumo of the human world – Raiden Tameemon – and the god worshiped in India – Shiva. The Buddha was next, and his plan was slowly approaching its culmination. Before the fight, however, he wanted to rest and gather his thoughts, while enjoying a sweet snack in the form of a colorful lollipop, which he managed to smuggle.
Unfortunately (or not?), his favorite tree was taken. A young woman with a beautiful skin tone and a friendly-looking face was plucking juicy fruits in a shade of delicate purple mixed with pink from the huge plant. I would like to mention that she was not greedy and chose only very ripe fruit, ideal for harvesting. She had only three in her small basket and was trying to pick the last fruit, which unfortunately was much higher than she could reach. Her light dress looked really good on her body, while the jewelry decorating her neck and fingers perfectly emphasized the sparkle of her eyes and charming smile.
“Need some help, shortie?” The man stepped a little closer and glanced carefully at the petite woman.
When you turned around, he could have sworn you looked like a true goddess. You were just as beautiful – no – you were more beautiful than Aphrodite and definitely sweeter than the fruit in your hands. Your eyes expressed pure curiosity of the world, and your lips were twisted in a sincere, even childish smile. The necklace jumped slightly as you turned to your interlocutor, then greeted him with a slight bow.
“Only if you want... I’ll gladly accept your help.” You spoked timidly, causing the fair-haired sage only to nod. He quickly reached the beautiful plum from the branch and handed it to you. He was curious about you and really wondered who you were. After all, he had never met such a beautiful goddess before. Which religion were you from? “My name is Y/N Y/L/N. Nice to meet you.”
“Buddha.” He said softly, looking at you even more closely. Your voice as beautiful as the singing of nightingales in the morning, and the blush on your cheeks resembled juicy strawberries. “What pantheon are you from?” He asked curiously, and you only frowned, putting the fruit gently into a dark-colored wicker basket. Then you shook your head.
“Oh. I fight for humanity.” You replied with amusement, causing him mixed feelings. He was surprised; he did not expect that humanity has such beautiful women, and also so modest and delicate in her manner. “You may not know me because I died quite recently.” You added and the man nodded one more time. He wanted to know your story, your abilities, your problems. After all, everyone has one. “I’m seventh in line.”
Since Buddha was in the sixth round and you in the seventh, the deity hoped that you two would have a chance to meet again and talk for much longer; about life and death, about Ragnarok and about these sweet fruits... Like... Why did they catch your eye?

If it's okay can I please ask for a yandere Buddha with Yui komori darling
If you've heard of her character
Yaaaay! Let’s goooo! It’s time for Buddha from Record of Ragnarok. Best maaan~! This is kinda for just me and @nunezs-stuff!
Yandere! Buddha/Siddhartha Gautama
Tumblr media
Buddha is a very carefree and easygoing. He doesn’t care about the world, he is so enlightened that nothing can bother him anymore as he is very good at letting things slide. But when it comes to you, he is confused over why he is thinking about you so much
You’re a Goddess. One he truly hates as he originally ignored you all the same as he did to every other God in the Ragnorak but you’re the one who actually managed to intrigue Buddha into approaching you himself
Buddha didn’t understand why you were on his mind all the time and he eventually needed to find out why you were plaguing his head, like some curse. You actually managed to have him hear you out and produce a more civilian relationship inbetween you, that develops into a friendly one in no time
Buddha continues to not realise of his obsession over you but he is far too late to try stop it as he is deep in the dark rabbit hole. So much that he can’t see his own actions as cruel or unlike himself as he doesn’t really care… he only cares about you and only you. The one he has grown a sense of love for
Buddha is actually a pretty brutal Yandere. He doesn’t care to attack, mutilate and even murder his processed love rivals. All these other men have nothing on him, he is a God of a powerful level and with his enlightenment ability, he can square up easily. He predicts the future constantly and he predicts that he will have you at all causes, no matter whose blood he must spill
Buddha is a extremely possessive and clingy Yandere, he always follows you around and attaches himself to your side like he is some overgrown parasite bump. He doesn’t want any man nor woman taking away your attention so he will evade your space and cuddle himself against you so you know how sweet and caring he is! Who else is as devoted to you as him?
If Buddha is willing to share his foods with people like Brunhilde, his sharing is tripled with you and it extends to gifting. He leaves you expensive clothings, cute accessories and all kinds of worldwide foods at your personal room in the Ragnorak building’s doorstep as grave attempts to make you fall in love with him. His care for you being a God has been thrown out the window as he throws a pair of luxurious emerald earrings through your window
Buddha is scarily delusional and isn’t secret about his fantasies over you. He openly rants about them after he has dragged you to a peaceful hill to join him in relaxing. He can’t process your fear over his terrifyingly unhinged state as he simply believes you are delighted to be able to spend more personal time with him since you haven’t attempted to run away. But that’s because you know he can read every action you may try pull
By the way, Buddha is merciless towards Zerofuku in their battle now as he can hear the way you sympathise with Zerofuku and his jealousy extends to the need to kill the God of Misfortune so his lover can’t be taken away from him in any shape or form
Buddha idolises your cheerful and optimistic personality to a insane pillar. You’re like the light at the end of the tunnel and he is running full speed to that light to cling onto it with his whole life. Your unconditional positivity and kindness gives him motivation to… really do anything now
Buddha may or may not always abuse your naivety to gaslight into you thinking his behaviour is completely normal and he has done nothing wrong. He will make sure you believe him full-throttle and trick you, using your naivety against you, to not listen to any other God in concern about the way he acts around you
Buddha is your biggest fan and is rooting for you to win your fight when you finally squaring up with your mankind representative enemy as the God representative. Buddha knows he will murder the entire human race if that human wins against you as you’re the only thing keeping him sane at this point, it’s gotten that bad
Your determination and strong-will playing into that battle has Buddha even more convinced you will end up with the victory
Buddha finds your passionate belief about vampires not existing cute, considering you are a literal mythological God and everybody around you is a mythological God as well. It makes him insanely devoted to learning about vampires so he can try play into your disbelief and tease you about it. It’s his way of flirting
“Whoa… you liked it when that human beat you around? Why, didn’t it hurt? It, for sure, hurt when I went up against that coward. Well, I mean… if you like the pain, I suppose I wouldn’t mind adding it into our relationship”
