first hug with the nekoma members

I happened to do some research and apparently it’s considered rude in Japan to hug people :’) and it’s something usually only couples do, so why not write some first hug prompts with my fav team, yay! i always see first kiss but my touch starved ass believes in hug supremacy

type: fluff, gn!reader (implied female at yamamotos) x nekoma boys (unfortunately no teshiro)

warnings: none! maybe yamamoto being silly 🤗 also lowercase intended, not proof read so sorry for any typos !!

summary: you hugging your friend (who happens to have a crush on you) for the first time!

#1 TETSURŌ KUROO

when you approached the captain after practice, he wasn’t surprised. you guys would often walk to the train station together with kenma, so he assumed this was the case. “hey! finished everything up already?” you chirped, arriving in front of him and smiling. he nodded, gesturing at his bag and humming. “kenma’s still getting changed.” taking the chance of him extending his arm, you slipped below and pressed your body against his chest. he froze up for a second, about to hug you back until you had already slipped away from his touch. he beat himself up about it later </3

#2 NOBUYUKI KAI

“need some help?” his voice echoed in your ears and you spun around in surprise. “ah, kai! good morning! yes, i’d appreciate that.” you had been trying to build up the net for practice and kai had luckily arrived shortly after you. he fixed your mistake with ease, finishing it up faster than you expected. “all done.” he spoke, giving you a thumbs up. you hesitated, but gave him a quick hug that was extended by kai tightning his grip around you and patting your back a few times, before finally releasing you. in the end, you were more flustered about it than him.

#3 MORISUKE YAKU

“y’know, yaku, i think you’re a bit harsh on lev sometimes.” you spoke, facing the 3rd year. he stayed silent for a second, before speaking. “he deserves it.” before he was able to move on, you continued. “i don’t think you’re that short though, yakkun. it’s great for hugging!” a light red hue spread along his cheeks, him turning away from you. that was, until he felt your arms wrap around his body and he completely froze up, somehow being able to reciprocate your touch. “see?”

#4 TAKETORA YAMAMOTO

it’s no secret that yamamoto was scared to talk to girls, but you wanted to change that. when you found out why he was avoiding you, you did your best on befriending him and somehow managed to do it after two weeks of being the manager. yamamoto had insisted on walking you home, so you complied after his constant begging all day. arriving in front of your home, he bowed before you and wished you a good night. he started walking off until you grabbed his wrist and pulled him into your embrace. let’s just say, you broke him.

#5 KENMA KOZUME

with kenma, the hug was out of nowhere. the boys had just returned from their run (even though it was very cold outside) and most of them were warmed up, except for one certain member. he was pathetically standing next to kuroo, shaking like a madman, and you shook your head at his carelessness. you approached him, looking at him one last time before pressing your body against his in an attempt to warm him up. his cheeks heated up, but he didn’t really know what to do so he simply wrapped his free arm around you lazily, enjoying the heat. the rest of the boys couldn’t help but feel slightly jealous.

#6 SHŌHEI FUKUNAGA

when you saw shōhei getting the balls with inuoka, you just got hit with the urge randomly. he was there and you were cold, so why not? you got up from the bench, putting your notebook and pencil down and jogged over to him. he looked at you in silence, waiting for you to say something until you opened your arms and looked at him expectantly. he tried to understand what you were doing, inuoka having to come for help and pushed him forward slightly. finally getting at your idea, he shyly complied and wrapped his arms around you. when you parted, he was as red as a tomato.

#7 SŌ INUOKA

in this case, inuoka was actually the one who initiated the hug. while on a walk, he saw a couple hugging and his mind immediatly wandered to you, happy with the idea he just got. once he entered the gym building after changing into his correct attire, his eyes landed on you and he jogged over to your side, grinning at you. “ah, good morning sō! do you need something?” you smiled up at him. he nodded. “can i hug you?” he asked, you blushing a little bit at his direct behavior. “oh! sure!” you agreed, standing up and extending your arms for him. he squeezed you against him tightly, you laughing a bit at his intensity. he hugged you more often after that :)

#11 LEV HAIBA

like inuoka, he was the one that initiated the hug. since one of his parents was european, hugging was normal in his family and he just wanted to do it one day when he saw you all cuddled up in a jacket you borrowed from a friend. he thought you looked cute, so he went up to you and engulfed your body in his arms. “oi- lev?!” you exclaimed, surprised at his gesture. nonetheless he didn’t let go, and waited until you hugged him back to release his grip.

#12 YŪKI SHIBAYAMA

“yūki, could you help me with this?” you called out, showing him a riddle on your phone. he nodded, sitting down next to you and explaining it to you, waiting until you finally understood. in that moment you were just grateful for his help, and didn’t hesitate from getting up and hugging him quickly. personally he thought it was too short, ignoring the small blush on his face at the sudden body contact. he definitely gave you multiple hints of wanting another hug after that.

Literally Kuroo will not stop his subtle flirting, and not to mention the terrible pun jokes it comes with.

You began to rethink your choices of becoming their manager at some point, i know it. From the amount of stupidity they gave you...how are you still alive?–

Lev always sticks around you. He's probably developed a puppy crush on you and it's so adorable hrgghh 💕

Kenma doesn't often talk to you, but since you play games as well i guess it just kind of clicked.

"KenMAA stop hogging them!" "They hung out with me and chose to stay with me first. Shut up." He spoke an actual sentence, that's surprising 🤠

Now, don't even get me started on Yamamoto. Dude is a feral (Y/N) simp and will never stop being one 💀👌

Everyone catches on quickly and for real, you swear you can feel their gazes burning through you omg 😭

Fukunaga loves it when you laugh hard at his jokes.

And PLSSS Inuoka tries so hard to act chill around you but end up tripping or looking bad in the end, poor guy–

During every match, don't worry about having any other team checking you out the boys will literally turn into actual cats and be HOSTILE 100% 👹

Like this emoji 🏃 they will run to you at full speed and intimidate everyone so bad. Their eyes be glowing like don't mess with them buddy.

Yaku and Kai is in charge of making sure everyone isn't doing anything weird when you're not there.

But cannot actually since they might a little more chaotic when you're sick...DAMN why are they crying? You won't die from a little fever chill 💀

Despite all that, Yuki tries his best to be noticed by you.

Boy always thinks you don't care because you barely even breathed in his direction.

But that changed when you greeted him the next week at school and gave him a small bag of his favorite cookies. Like he was so shocked 😃💅

Having to switch schools at the beginning of your third year 🫠

Honestly I don’t even know if crying will help at this point

Your guardian accepted a new job in Tokyo so of course you followed suit, moving from a small town to the huge city

It was a big change and an even bigger change looking at your new high school

You stand outside looking at the school as you take a deep breath and walk in

The halls are crowded and everyone is staring at you

Not only because you are the new kid but also because you are so pretty 🤩

Turning heads everywhere you go YN!

However right now it’s very overwhelming because, well once again, everyone is staring at you

You look around, trying to find your classroom but much to your dismay, it seems to not exist

But we don’t give up so easily! Oh no no

You mentally calm yourself, turning around to start over

Unfortunately when you turn around you turn smack into two boys

Subsequently you tumble to the ground, landing hard

“Are you ok?” An angelic voice chimes

You look up, seeing a tall boy and a shorter boy staring at you

“Yeah I’m ok, sorry for running into you,” you say as the shorter boy extends his hand to help you

“Sorry for knocking you down, ummm I’m sorry I don’t know your name?” The shorter boy says

“Oh I’m Yn, it’s my first day,” you say smiling and fixing your skirt and blouse

“Welcome to Nekoma YN, I’m Yaku and this is Kai,” the shorter boy says

“It’s nice to meet you,” you say smiling softly

Yaku and Kai smile back but before you can say anything

We hear an agitating, grading voice 😒

“Yaku!! Hey Yaku!”

You look over to see a very tall, white haired boy and a boy with a Mohawk approaching

“Yaku, hey I need your help!”

Yaku rolls his eyes as you watch their interaction, “Lev if it’s help with your receives, I’ll pass”

Lev 👉🏻 😱 offended

Meanwhile the boy with the Mohawk is just staring at you 👁️👄👁️

“For goodness sakes Yamamoto, stop staring at the new girl, it’s creepy!”

“Like you yelling that isn’t also creepy,�� another boy says as he walks past with his head in a video game

“Hey are you really a new girl?” The tall boy known as Lev asks

You just smile and shake your head

“What in the heck are you all doing-” a tall, handsome dark haired boy approaches and halts as his eyes meet yours

You blush a little, smiling at the boy

Kai and Yaku be like 👀 😐😏

So now you have two guys staring at you as well as utter chaos ensuring around

Way to go Yn 👏 great job 🙄

“Umm hello, I’m Yn. I’m sorry for causing all this commotion. I’m new here and I’m afraid I’m lost,” you say

The tall, rooster haired boy 👉🏻😳

“What classroom are you looking for Yn?” Kai asks

You tell him as Yaku interrupts

“Hey Kuroo’s in that class, he can show you the way right captain?” Yaku says smacking Kuroo’s back

Kuroo👉🏻👁️👄👁️ umm yeah

“Thanks Kuroo, I appreciate it!” You say beaming

Please Yn, he starts blushing so hard 🥹

Yaku and Kai watch as you and Kuroo walk to class

“Heys making a fool of himself,” Kai says

“Isn’t it glorious?” Yaku laughs 😂

From that day forward, it was safe to say our precious captain cat developed a tiny crush on you

Well not really TINY

Man’s fell so hard for you Yn it’s unreal

He loved spending time with you, walking you to class and even eating with you

Subsequently, you became besties with the boys volleyball team

Your proximity to the team came with mixed reviews

Lev was rather annoying per the usual, Kenna acted like he normally did and Yamamoto essentially ceased all functioning when you were around

Honestly what I wouldn’t give to be a flu on that wall 🤣

You developed a closeness to the boys and soon found yourself in the current situation

“YN you should just be our manager,” Yaku blurted out one day at lunch

Kuroo 👉🏻 *literally choking* 👁️👄👁️ whet-

“I mean, she’s always hanging around so she should probably make herself useful,” Yaku shrugged

“Wow what an enticing invitation,” Kenna said 😐🙄

“Well I mean, Kuroo basically drools- HEY!” Yaku screeched as Kuroo jabbed him in the stomach

“I do actually know a little about volleyball! I use to be friends with the manager of the volleyball team at my last school!” You smile

“You mean, we could actually have a girl manager? Yamamoto exclaimed

“It’s up to the captain I think,” Kai said as everyone looked at Kuroo

Kuroo looked over at you as you beamed at him, how could he say no

He’s literally such a simp for you Yn and this was his chance to keep you close 🥰

“Well if you want to Yn-”

Before he can even finish, you fling yourself into his arms for a huge hug

Because now Kuroo would have to share you with not only his teammates but with the teams they played against

For example, someone’s always interrupting his nerdy jokes 😒

“Hey YN, why can’t you trust an atom?” Kuroo asks

“I don’t know why?” You say

“YN EMERGENCY HELP!” Lev screams as he runs in, Yaku hot on his tail

“LEV GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!” Yaku screams as Fukunaga, Yamamoto and Inuoka follow

“What happened?” You ask as Kuroo narrows his eyes 😑

“Yaku said Lev would never measure up to him and Lev said ‘but Yaku I’m already taller than you’ and Yaku got mad,” Yamamoto said

You 👉🏻😐 really?

“YN stop him from killing me! You need my height!” Lev screeches

“You suck Lev we can do without you,” Kenma says

We love it here 🤦🏻‍♀️

Meanwhile poor Kuroo is just standing there with the punchline to his joke, all deflated 😞

The punchline btw was “because they make up everything” 😩

Often times, Kuroo finds himself just watching you

kind of creepy? Yes but stay with me

“Why don’t you just tell her you like her?” Kai asked

“I don’t know what you’re talking about?” Kuroo says

“Really? We can all see how bad you have it for Yn, you are horrible at hiding it,” Kenma says walking past

“Just confess to her,” Kai says

“I don’t know how and what if she doesn’t like me back?” Kuroo asks

He is also one of those people who grab you hand over the table at a restaurant and brings it up to press his lips to your knuckles or fingers while looking into your eyes while you talk

A very polite man!!

A true gentlemen in public but also low-key a tease when it comes to kisses in private

When you're both out and about he'll occasionally place kisses on the back of your hand or cheek if no-one is around

but hoooo-boy in private he'll tug you in by the loops of your pants and stop just before his lips touch your own to ask if it's okay

of course it is!! but the endearing little grin tugging at his lips has you sputtering and tripping over your words as you spit out a flustered yes

also one hundred percent sleepily kisses the air, with his eyes closed, until he finds you in the earlier hours of the morning

Nekoma x (Future) F!Manager Reader

A/N: this is almost entirely self indulgent, so... indulge me.

CW: vague descriptions of anxiety induced thoughts, reader uses she/her pronouns.

“Finding an extracurricular or joining a club can’t be too hard: just find something. And fast— I’m pretty sure everything is closing up soon.”

Easier said than done months into school, where cliques had already formed and groups had solidified. Wrinkled fliers sat at the bottom of a bookbag, some had been neatly folded but lost to the constant movement of books and notebooks. The school day was coming to an end, and it seemed like there were less options than one would think possible.

Sighing to yourself, it felt like the hopeless feeling in your chest was going to stay. Your family was still hounding you to do some type of after school activities, but any of the options they threw at you just didn’t sound appealing. You walked quietly, glancing into each classroom, some empty, some not. No one really looked up from what they were doing, not that you could blame them.

Guess it’s easier to join a club when you don’t panic at simple social interactions, You mused to yourself, tightening your grip on your bag, You don’t freak others out.

You made your way outside of the school, thanking your lucky stars it was nice out. Seemed like you had created a new routine— wander around after school, awe at some gardens, pet some stray cats, visit some local stores, before making your way home and lying to your family, saying things like:

“I was just talking to different clubs— I wanna make sure I choose the right one.”

“We were discussing their schedules and I’m not sure if it’ll fit mine.”

“The club members were rude, I don’t think I’d turn out great if I joined.”

Lying was becoming second nature and you hated it, but the guilt tripping of your family was worse. Pausing your steps you noticed that standing in the normal path you’d take was a group, from the looks of it some outdoorsy club, talking and laughing loudly. You didn’t want to walk past them, so you turned on your heel, moving to walk the opposite way that you normally did.

You didn’t often walk this way outside of school, so this was a nice change of scenery. And the image wasn’t the only new information your brain was processing. The echoing yells and squeaking of sneakers caught your attention, your gaze being drawn to the gym nearest you. You had never been a fan of sports— no one in your family really played them so you just never cared too much— but whatever was happening was loud and fast paced.

Your curiosity peaked to say the least, plus, you needed to kill time.

So you made your way near, noting you wouldn’t be able to easily peek in through the windows, but lucky for you, the gym door was cracked. Hoping they were all too distracted to notice you, you crept closer, quietly laying your bag down on the concrete. Looking inside, it took you a moment to adjust to all the movement before your eyes.

Oh— the volleyball team.

You didn’t know too much about volleyball— you knew your school's team used to be a big deal, they had even had their own rival team. You had seen their games on TV in passing, and it had seemed of the more entertaining of sports, and seeing the team before you move and shout the way they were made you agree with that passing thought.

“Damn it!”

The loud shout nearly made you jump, and your gaze was drawn to one of the members. The guy had a bleached mohawk type hairstyle, and you vaguely recognized him. You were both second years, so you’d seen him in passing, and his presence was loud— hard to forget. He was glaring at the ball rolling across the court as if it had personally offended him.

“Brush it off!”

Instead of calming down the guy merely looked more annoyed, pointing an angry finger at the one who had said it— a shorter looking guy, soft sandy blonde hair sticking to his forehead with sweat.

“I’ve been trying to brush it off all practice!”

The guy being yelled at rolled his eyes, more annoyed that this conversation was happening than being yelled at.

“Then hurry up and get over it.”

He received an annoyed grunt as the guy moved to grab the volleyball, still glaring intensely as he stomped across the gym.

You recognized one person— a tall guy with weirdly spiked, black hair, carrying a ball under his arm, eyes caught on something across the room.

“Kenma,” Or someone, you mused, “You planning on practicing today?”

Whoever he was speaking to must have responded, cause he just sighed to himself, shaking his head good naturedly.

“Um,” A voice from outside the gym startled you, and you froze in place, the gentle questioning tone coming from behind you, “Hello?”

You turned quickly, heart hammering in your chest, cheeks flushed with embarrassment at being caught. It was the coach— or one of the coaches, scratching at the back of his head curiously. He had some rough facial hair, and he looked chiseled and relatively intimidating.

What the hell were you supposed to say?

“Did you come to watch them practice?”

You stammered, mouth agape like a floundering fish, eyes darting from him to the pathway behind him, hands clutching almost desperately at the bottom of your blazer. He seemed to notice your nerves, and smiled softly.

“You know it’s far more entertaining to watch inside.” He stepped forward, passing you quickly, hand laying on the side of the door, “Do you want to come in?”

No.

No you did not want to enter a gym filled with strangers and have them all notice you and stare at you and wonder what you were doing there and why you were there—

But wait. Wouldn’t it be weirder if he went inside and said some girl was standing outside and peeking in through the cracked door then ran away after meeting the coach?

You didn’t trust your voice, so you nodded meekly, reaching down to grab your bag, desperately trying to keep your hands from trembling from anxiety. He smiled at you, reassurance on his face, but he paused before opening the door.

“Were you thinking about joining a club, if I may ask?”

“Oh!” You verbalized your surprise, unsure of what to make of the curious yet hopeful look on his face.

He took that as an answer though, turning towards the entrance and opening the door fully.

“Alright boys,” The gym came to a stand still, and, yup, you regret your decision in not booking it when you had the chance.

They had all definitely seen you now, curious eyes studying the timid girl standing behind their couch. He stepped to the side, allowing you to enter beside him, knuckles turning white from the desperate grip you had on the straps of your bag.

The coach motioned towards you, “This is…” He trailed off, glancing towards you.

Oh— oh you needed to respond.

“Uh— (L/N). (F/N). (L/N) (F/N).” It took you a moment to remember yourself, and you bowed quickly, almost stumbling forward; you could feel your cheeks burning up to the tips of your ears.

Who stumbles over their own introduction this bad?

But the coach didn’t seem to mind, “This is (L/N), she’s going to watch your practice today.”

Kuroo was the only person you recognized by face and name, and he was staring right at you, head tilted curiously. You assumed the other two near him were also third years— your upper classmen were staring at you— were they judging you too?

“So I expect you all to be on your best behavior,” He put emphasis on his words, and you followed his gaze to the one who had yelled at the ball earlier.

His cheeks were red, probably rivaling the look on your face, and he was staring at you. You could feel yourself tense at being under his gaze, desperately trying to look away and not make eye contact with him. A few of the guys chuckled quietly.

“And put on a good show,” His voice dropped the serious tone, taking on a light, teasing tone, nodding good naturedly.

The boys nodded, shouts of agreement ringing out before they disbanded. You felt your breath catch as the three upperclassmen walked over, shoulders almost up to your ears as they approached.

The shorter one of the three, the one you had seen earlier, smiled at you, and while the two of you weren’t far from the same height, he still seemed… very intimidating.

“I’m Yaku Morisuke, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

You couldn’t form a response, so you stuck to nodding, trying your best to smile back at him.

“Kai Nobuyuki, it’s good to meet you.”

Kuroo stared down at you, and you felt like a puppy with their tail tucked between their legs. Have you done something wrong? Already?

“Kuroo Tetsuro.” He paused, seeming to try and piece together his next words, “What brings you to our practice?”

You blanched at the question, and your face must have shown it, because Yaku was quick to elbow the taller man. Kuroo jumped at the jab, “Ow— dude.”

“Ignore him.”

The coach stepped forward, finishing his side conversation, “Well it’s not for certain, but if she’s still looking for an afterschool club or such and will have us, we may have found ourselves a manager.”

A manager?

Manager.

You looked towards the older man with wide eyes— that was definitely not the reason you were here. You had come this way to avoid social interactions— and you were failing that miserably.

However, the eyes of the three before you lit up, small, almost hopeful grins on their faces.

“Yeah?” Kuroo looked down towards you, “You up for manager position?”

“Well,” You swallowed, flinching at your own, small voice crack, “I— I didn’t know you all— that you were— I mean—”

“You don’t need to decide now,” Yaku stepped in to save you from your own floundering words, “Obviously you just met us.”

A whistle was blown, and everyone’s attention was drawn over. An older man was standing on the sides, a lazy, almost cat-like grin on his face, “Alright boys, get yourselves into position. Let’s give our guest a show she won’t forget.”

Kuroo, Kai, and Yaku all bowed towards you, before moving back to the court. You were led over to the other man by Coach Naoi, as he now introduced himself. The older man was Coach Nekomada, and apparently he had been with Nekoma for a while.

“I was wonderin’ if you were ever gonna come inside.”

You felt your blood run cold through your veins, and the embarrassment from earlier was now ten fold.

“I— I’m so sorry, sir! I didn’t mean to interrupt or intrude—”

He laughed loudly, “Nonsense! Nothing gets these knuckleheads more fired up than an audience.” A loud yelp was heard, and you turned in time to see the one with the mohawk rubbing the back of his head, seeming to be getting yelled at by Yaku.

You heard Nekomata sigh, “Some more than others.”

You couldn’t help but laugh slightly, he seemed like a tired uncle— or grandfather. He was quiet for a moment, and you turned to watch as the team was split in two, groups on either side of the net.

“So, (L/N), tell me, what all do you know about volleyball?”

“Oh, uh, not much,” You spoke honestly, watching as the ball was set into motion, the sound of sneakers and the ball hitting skin breaking the momentary silence, “I don’t know anyone who plays it… and I never really watched it.”

You weren’t even entirely sure what was happening before you— and now they had their hopes on you becoming their manager? They were to be sorely disappointed. You tried hinting at this to Coach Nekomata, though your eyes were seemingly glued to the game before you.

“I don’t really know… terms or anything,” The ball never touched the ground— and you knew that that was the whole point— but watching it in action was new, “Or the positions.”

Every sport had different positions, different plays, different everything. And you felt like you knew none of them. You frowned, the excitement had seemed to rub off on you, and you were almost… hopeful, watching the ball get closer and closer to touching the ground.

You wanted to witness at least one point get scored before you let them down by saying you couldn’t be their manager. Then you’d just do your best to avoid all of them in school so they didn’t get mad at you or annoyed with you or try and pressure you to join.

“So I’m not sure… how useful I’d be.”

You received a hum in response, “Well, not everyone here started off with all the knowledge they had now, nor the power and capability.”

Watching how they played— how they appeared to move in sync, you doubted that.

“They learned as they played, they’ve failed and hurt themselves, and look at them now.” He sounded proud as he spoke, and the rawness made your heart ache.

You wanted to feel that, about yourself, about an accomplishment of yours. But the pride could be easily diminished, and you let out a soft sigh, “I’m not sure I’d be the best student at this, learning it all to be of any help.”

He didn’t respond, and you stayed quiet, watching the game, noting the annoyed looks on faces as the ball continued to refuse to fall, the shouts and grunts as they moved quickly, but never desperately, never tiredly.

“I don’t think I’m—”

The echoing of the next move silenced you, and you swore you could feel both impacts of the ball in your chest. The guy from earlier had hit the ball, and it had finally gone over the net, breaking past the others and slamming into the ground. It ricocheted off the floor, smacking into the wall behind them. The sight, the sound, the impact— all those left you stunned, eyes wide in awe at the strength and force before you.

You hadn’t… seen something like that before.

And he looked so proud of himself, scoring the first goal of the game. His side looked excited, energetic. And the others didn’t look disappointed, or upset, they looked hungry, ready to steal that point back.

The excitement that had been steadily growing was practically making you vibrate now, and you could almost feel a smug aura from Coach Nekomata from beside you. He cleared his throat, and you tore your gaze away from the court.

“That wasn’t even the best Yamamoto can do,” His eyes were twinkling, “Not the best the entire team can do.”

You couldn’t leave now— you had to watch the game, to watch the plays. You got why people enjoyed sports— playing and watching them— but now you understood.

“What,” You licked your lips, “What all does a manager need to do?”

He grinned, turning to look back at the game, “We’ll get to that, but for now, welcome to the Nekoma team, little manager.”

A/N: Watching Blue Lock made me wanna give this a try.

Kuroo is bold as always, shameless even and often asks you to take a relaxing shower with him after his practice. Knows you won't say yes in front of his team but he likes asking, can't hurt to try his luck. He's baffled when you agree one day, only to tell him you were just kidding when he got his hopes up.

Kenma runs to you first when the game is finished and kisses your hand. He should have done so before a game but he was a little busy and couldn't find the moment to slip away. But now that he's got some time, a lot of it until the next game he can keep kissing you every time he passes you by.

Kai always keeps you close to him so he can run his hand across your back, up to your neck and then feeling the chills go down your spine. Are you so easy that innocent touches get you going? Seems so, he's careful not to take his teasing too far, he knows he needs to take it easy on you when you're in public.

Yaku likes to look at you without saying a word. It drives you crazy because you can't read his mind, you don't know what he wants from you so you always end it with a kiss to disrupt his focus. Joke is on you, that is exactly what he wanted from you, now that you've kissed him he can close his eyes and enjoy your soft lips.

Taketora throws his jacket at you before every game, insisting that you wear it and that seeing you in it makes him play better. That is a little hard to believe but at least you have somewhere to hide your face after he winks at you. You're a little reluctant to give it back to him right after the game, it smells like him.

Lev sends you post game pictures but he's always shirtless and covered in sweat in them. Don't show these to anyone else got it, they're just for you to enjoy. He can almost hear the flustered noises you make when you open the picture and see him, he can easily imagine them since he heard them in person a lot.

Kuroo Tetsurou x reader

Summary: You, a dedicated member of the girls' volleyball team, find an unexpected connection with Kuroo Tetsurou. Igniting a bond over shared passions and stolen moments, love blossoms on the court; all because you met him at a captains meeting.

It was normal for third-years to be captains, but not necessarily in your case. You had been a captain since your first-year. Your coach had different rules, and everybody voted on a captain regardless of year status. Leading to you becoming a leader from your first year on the team.

Surprisingly, the girls and boys teams were kept separate often. The only one you were semi-close to was Nobuyuki Kai, only because you two were in the same class.

You had suggested numerous times for practice matches or jointed practices, but had consistently been turned down by the other captains and the boys' head coach.

Budgeting, costs and other important factors were assessed during the meeting. It was finally time for your yearly begging of having the two teams be closer.

"What could we benefit from playing with you guys?" Coach Nekomata crosses his arms in his seat.

"We've won the spring national tournament for the past two years." Your coach says curtly. “We’d be great practice.”

He ponders. "You've been at this since you were a little first-year, Y/n." Nekomata chuckles and turns in his chair to face you. "I like your determination. Why not? Let's do it."

"Really?" Your mouth is agape.

"Mhm." He agrees. "We'll plan at least one practice match every week."

"Thank you!" You bow to him and the new captain sitting next to him.

"You won't regret it, coach." Mori, your coach gives him a wide smile.

"We won't go easy on you." The new captain exits along with you.

"Better not." You smile back. "I'm Y/n L/n, I'm sorry I never got to formally meet you in there."

"It's all good. Kuroo Tetsurou." He says back. "New year already, huh?"

"Last one, too." You smile softly, "You think you'll get many new players trying out?"

He thinks for a moment, "Probably not, you?"

"We always have a big turnout, but most of the unserious players quit after the first day. I think we’ll get 3-4 new first-years.” You answer.

"I'm really excited for the training camp, you're assisting right?" He continues the small talk.

"Yeah I will, don't you remember me assisting the last couple of years?" You raise an eyebrow.

He laughs softly, "I do. Just wanted to make sure." He shrugs his broad shoulders. "Well anyway, I've gotta do some supply checks, I'll see you later." He waves and you give a small one back.

The spring wind softly blew, giving a nice breeze to the warm sun. First day of school and volleyball was tomorrow, you’re both excited and a little sad. This would be your last year before going to university.

You began to walk home, putting in your headphones to listen to music to past time. The music stopped, indicating you were getting a call. Confused, you look at your screen and see Himari, your best friend and teammate.

“Hello?” You pick up.

“Hey, you busy?” She asks out of breath.

“No, I’m just coming back from the captains meeting.” You say.

“I forgot that was today, how’d it go?” She questions and hears you sigh, “You know what, come to my house. We can bake some cookies and talk about it.”

A small smile formed on your lips, you had good news, but you wanted to act upset so you could tell her in person. “I’m heading over, you need me to pick up anything at the store?”

“I don’t think so, my mom just went grocery shopping.” She says.

“Alright, I’m 5 minutes away.” You say and hang up, you quickly text your parents that you’d be going over to Himari’s for a little.

She lived next door to you, making you grow up with each other. Your mom had put you into volleyball from a young age and when Himari moved in, you asked her to play and she too, fell in love with the sport.

You don’t even knock anymore, that’s how close your families are. You let yourself in and see Himari sitting at her kitchen counter.

“Where’s your mom?” You say, wanting to greet her.

“She’s on a date!” Himari smiles widely. Her mother was divorced and ended up raising Himari herself.

“Please tell me it’s with the guy from the farmers market.” You ask and she nods furiously, making you both squeal. “Good for her. I hope it goes well.”

“Same here.” She agrees. “Now, tell me all about the meeting.” She pulls out a mixing bowl, already having the ingredients out.

You walk over to the sink to wash your hands, “You know how it always goes. Budgeting, storage, and whatnot.”

“So boring.” She rolls her eyes and eats a chocolate chip, “Did you ask coach Nekomata about joint practices or matches?”

“I did.” You say and stay quiet. “He said yes!”

She screams in excitement, “No way. Really?”

“Yes way. He said he liked my determination and would schedule a practice match every week!” You two hug and pull away.

“I’m so glad. We could definitely beat them.” She rolls her eyes.

“I know.” You smile. “I can’t wait to tell the rest of the team.”

“Speaking of, has coach gave you the practice plan?” She gulps.

“No.” You say with wide eyes. “It’ll probably be bad. She does it so she can weed out the weak ones.”

Himari grabs a cookie from the pan, “Lets toast, for the next two weeks of absolute hell.” You grab a cookie and touch it against hers giggling.

“It’s getting late.” You say, having to be up early after weeks of waking up late. “I’ll see you tomorrow!” You wave and jog to your house.

You greet your parents and quickly head off to your room to make sure you have everything for tomorrow. You have butterflies in your stomach as you lay in bed, forcing your eyes shut.

you open your eyes taking in your surroundings. your shirts on the floor, the dim bathroom lights, the muffled music on the other side of the door. both your moans and whines filling up the small space. you claw his back as he continues to slam into you hard as ever.

“oh my god don’t stop!” you moan out. he pounds you twice as hard. “fuck y/n you feel so good!” kenma lets out with a whimper. he bites your neck, licking and sucking on your sensitive spot. his smell. his breath on your neck. the way his voice is slightly pitched up. its intoxicating.

why tho? why is the known playboy, kenma kozume, making you feel like this? you never liked him, so why are you here? matter of fact, howd you even get here?

5:30 pm Friday

“Im not going kurro”

“pleaseee y/nn!” kurro begs over the phone. “you never go out with us!”

you and kurro have been best friends since the start of high school. luckily you both got into the same university.

“that’s because i don’t like most of your friends, or the loudness of the club. you already know this tho so why the fuck are you asking?”

“i’ll give you 20 bucks”

“i’ll be ready in 30.”

you call your bestfriend Akane to give you some advice.

“ yellow or f/c?” you ask holding up both dress options.

“definitely f/c, you look amazing in that!” Akane responds excitedly.

“okay okay, thanks girl i’ll call you later!” you hung up finishing your hair and makeup then calling kurro.

Kurro texted and told you to come out side.

Once you did you saw his car and made your way over.

you got close to the car and was a little shocked to how packed it was. Kurro was driving, Bokuto in the passenger, then Kenma and one more you didn’t know in the backseats. the windows were also down.

“Hey y/n” “hiii” Kurro and Bokuto said when they saw you.

“ umm where am i supposed to sit?” you ask literally anyone.

“right here beautiful.” kenma says pointing to his lap with a slight smirk and a wink.

you made a face since you don’t particularly like Kenma. he always flirts with every girl and somehow they always fold, however you were not about to be like them.

“don’t mind him.” “just sit between them, duh.” kurro says. you roll your eyes at his last statement.

“Hey im Kai Nobuyuki, you can call me Kai!” Kai says getting out with a smile.

you smile back while getting in and kurro starts driving.

Ryuunosuke Tanaka:

Tanaka is a hugger, all the way. He loves to just hug you close to him and press kisses to anywhere he can reach. He chuckles when you turn red and just melt into his touch. "Awe~ you look so cute all red angel! Did I make you turn this pretty of a color?" He teases relentlessly, but he does know when to stop and will do so immedietly if he senses the slightest hint of discomfort and immedietly switch to kisses and tightening the hug while he rants about how much he loves you and to not listen to him about his teasing. He is naturally warm as well, so he finds the most comfort on the colder days of just pulling you to himself and hugging you to his chest for cuddle time that evens out your body temperatures between the two of you in those brutal Miyagi winters.

Chikara Ennoshita:

Ennoshita is a very subtle guy with all of his affection, so the way he holds you is pretty subtle too. He intertwines the hand opposite his body with his, which wraps his arm around you and keeps you kind of locked to his side. He will also lean over and press you a gentle kiss and mutter to you about how much he loves you, all while giving you a gentle smile. It's not that hes worried about being clingy or hurting you- he just doesn't feel the need to be flashy and instead chooses to relish in these quiet moments with you.

Nobuyuki Kai:

Kai is the king of being traditional and domestic. He holds you with a gentle hand around your waist while asking you what you might be doing at the time or pressing a gentle kiss to your temple. He is a very calm person, so most of his affection follows that same train: gentle, calm and sweet. He gives you a smile and tells you to tell him about your day, fully intending on listening to every word you might say after that point with a smile and a graceful ear.

Shohei Fukunaga:

Fukunaga is not good with words, or at least not good with saying them. He does tell you things a lot of the time but he can never directly tell you all the things he loves about you, so he uses his touch to do it for him. He holds you by all the places he finds to be your insecurities as a way to show you how much he loves them. Waist too big or small in your opinion? His hands are placed there immedietly and he gives you a smile. You think your stomach is too big, he wraps his arms around you and it in a big bear hug. He does his own little sweet holds to show you everything he loves about you, especially if you dont exactly love them yourself.

So Inuoka:

Inuoka loves to surprise you with hugs. He come up next to you, kind of in your vision because he doesn't want to scare you too much, and jumps to hug you. If he ever does end up scaring you his hands move to your middle and he hugs you tightly and apologizes. But usually his arms stay wrapped around you in a half hug position abou 75% of the time. The other 25% of the time hes probably asleep in your lap because when he crashes down from his energy he crashes hard and your lap is the perfect pillow. :]

Takahiro Hanamaki:

Hanamaki holds you by your waist, but his grip is always pretty lazy and light, and occasionally his fingers ghost down from your waist to the middle of your thigh and back up. He likes to feel you jump as he presses a sloppy kiss or two to your neck and watch you blush when his lips make it to your cheek or temple all while his hands stay light but firm on your waist.

Akira Kunimi:

Kunimi likes to hold you laying down with his head rested gently in your shoulder and his hands on your midsection. He presses a kiss to your temple and just lays there with you in the moment without a word said between the two of you. He loves the feeling of a lazy morning with your head on his chest and his head on yours without a care or plan in the world as you both cuddle, although he doesn't ever really mention it to you- it's just an unspoken truth for you both.

Kentaro Kyotani:

Kyotani is firm in his touch, holding you to himself and to his chest with a firm hold. He does remind you with small notes or texts or maybe even the occasional whisper that you can always tell him to let you go. He holds you that way as a way to show you hes always there and that he loves you, and he always wants you to know you have a choice; that he would never be angry at you for wanting to be let go. His hands stay firm to you and so does his heart. He is fiercely loyal and his touch says so very well.

Kuguri is not a talker, out of both laziness and because he doesn't know what exactly to say, so he uses touch to show you the sappy things he wants to say to you. He presses lazy kisses to your neck and/or shoulders and/or forehead depending on what's accessable when he holds you by your waist to his chest. The two of you enjoy the silence and the occasional small smile he throws to you that you know is just for you.

Obara gives off the "lazy loving" vibes. He likes to snake his arm lightly around your waist and give you a few lazy kisses in the morning before he gets up to change into his day clothes and make (or order depending on how late you both stayed up) breakfast. He likes the little smile and shared breathing you both share before he gets up every single time.

Onagawa is a sleepy lover, and the two of you end up in a spooning hold with him being big spoon a ton. He just holds you there and the two of you take frequent naps or watch shows in the comfortable combination of your personalities without plans or reasons to move from the hold.

Ginjima is a partner who can be both prideful and brash, so he kind of likes to hold you in a way that it looks kind of like he is showing you off. In some way he is, but he also wants that perfect view of you sitting on his lap with his arms around your waist. He likes the fact your face turns a little pink when you are pulled to his lap and a kiss is pressed to your cheek. He just likes you.

Osamu is a nurturing lover. He likes to hold you in a way where he can feel like hes protecting you and you can feel like you know hes there without him ever taking it too far. He wraps an arm around your shoulders and the other around your waist as your head rests on his chest, or he keeps you in his lap with arms wrapped protectively around you challenging other people to try and touch his beloved with his eyes. Those are just his favorite positions, but he just loves to hold you in general, "to make up for his lack of poet-level words" according to him the one time you asked him about it.

Sarukui is layed back and kind of fun with his holds. Mostly he likes to tangle the two of you in limbs and love and watch dumb movies or cuddle to sleep. It's not just him holding you, ever. It's always the two of you holding eachother. He even pulled you into his lap in front of the team and you blushed at first, but proceeded to wrap around him like a content koala. Everyone was confused but he was happy as hell.

Akinori Konoha:

Konoha is a hips holder, and he does it constantly. He holds you by your hips and gently moves you out of his way with a simple "out of the way angel" and a kiss without even thinking about how flustered it makes you. And once he realizes it does he only gets more bold and cocky about it. He loves watching your eyes widen ever so slightly and your face redden because of something he did.

Katsumichi Higashiyama:

Higashiyama is the mixture between blunt, tired and playful that makes his holding of you so unique. He is one for just pulling you into his lap and laying his head on your shoulder or pressing kisses to your neck. He's blunt in his need for affection, but he does like to hear you giggle, pressing playfull tired kisses to the spots on your neck that make you laugh tue most. He always does it with adoration in his eyes and a small half smile at least on his face.

Rintaro Numajiri:

Jiri is pretty playful and likes to make you jump a little. He will poke your waist or side before hugging you where he poked and peppering you with kisses as you giggle at his antics. He also likes to tug you by your shirt a little to meet his chest so he can hug you. He just finds those little surprised noises you make when he does that kind of stuff adorable.

Reon Ohira:

Ohira is a very soft lover despite his slightly stoic exterior. He is layed back and very sweet. He finds holding you with a light hand around your back and his other either holding one of yours or caressing your cheek as he presses gentle kisses to your lips to be his favorite way to hold you. He also likes laying down and just having you sprawled over his chest or lap carelessly and comfortably.

Tsutomu Goshiki:

Goshiki does not hold you. You hold eachother. He hugs you and you hug back. He doesn't like the feeling of "trapping you" in some way and always wants to know you want to be held by him, so most of the time you guys end up in a mutually cuddly position. You both kind of look like a tangle of limbs or mutual koalas when you cuddle but it is comfortable and intimate for you both, so it doesn't matter. (He sometimes lays in your lap after a really bad day and you need to give him kisses and hold him those days!!)

Shibata isnt much of a cuddler (he just doesn't give those vibes) but he does like to hold your hand and just enjoy being with you, whether you be doing something together or two separate things. Will occasionally run his hands through your hair or scratch your scalp too.

Yusho Sagae:

Sagae= Top tier cuddler (at least one of the ones from the Shiratorizawa crew)! He is the big spoon and mutters you adorable little compliments and gives you tiny kisses with no intent other than to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and make you understand how much he loves you.

(If you cant tell I actually like Sagae and wish he showed up more. He seems like an awesome character and I would love more of him same with Yuda (Aoba) and Shido (Aoba) )

Being Nekoma’s Emo Manager

Warnings: probably swearing 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk if that’s even a warning

AN: this is an anon request! I realized I had it labeled from Spooky Anon but it wasn’t signed from Spooky anon 😅 so idk who it’s from.

Also I will not argue this point because I have both age and vintage Emo on my side 😌

Now for a mini history lesson, the Emo I’m going to be referring to today was popular from the late 90s to late 2000s and into the 2010s

This means heavy black eyeliner, hair that defied gravity, neckties being used as anything but neckties

Black with hints of accent colors such as, but not limited too, pinks, orange, white, etc.

The days when TRL and MTV were the way to “stream” new music and hot topic was the source of all band t-shirts

Now that I’ve covered a small history lesson, let’s strap in shall we!

So get your check board belts and fingerless gloves ready kids!

Because it’s time to get EMOtional 😂

N E Ways- let’s just say, you classified yourself as an “Emo kid”

It wasn’t super unheard of to be different fashionably in school but you, well you were definitely a sight

Your hair was teased to the rafters, bows of every color along with skulls littered your hair

Your eye liner was the blackest black, and you skin looked like you hadn’t seen sun in decades 😅

You wore fishnet tights with vans or perhaps another skateboarding shoe

You looked pretty intimidating to most people who didn’t know you

I mean, your style doesn’t exactly scream approachable

However, the people who did know you, knew that your style of “dark and brooding” didn’t measure up AT ALL to your personality

You were a complete sunshine ☀️

A literal sweetheart and absolute Angel!

Unfortunately a lot of kids didn’t get to know you ☹️

But luckily, there was one guy who didn’t care about looks

He really didn’t care about much actually 👀

And that happened to be our favorite setter Kenma!

Because Kenma honestly does not care about looks or superficial things like that

Actually, when you first got teamed up with Kenma to work on a project, a lot of kids thought it was a strange combo

But somehow, you two managed to make it work and in fact, you got the best grade in the class

After that, you and Kenma became partners for every project

There was just something he enjoyed about you

Probably your weird similarity to Hinata honestly 😏

Soon you and Kenma started hanging out after school

You both loved video games as well as had similar styles in music

Look at me and tell me Kenma wouldn’t be into Emo rock 👁️👄👁️

Fall out boy, Paramore, Taking Back Sunday, THE USED!!!!

Anyways, soon Kuroo joins and he’s confused about your friendship with Kenma

Like you and Kenma are complete opposites but you get along super well

Eventually Kuroo starts taking a liking to you as well

Kuroo has natural Emo hair so it’s fate 💅

Kuroo soon figures out why Kenma enjoys your company as you are a literal dark ball of sunshine

Eventually you start accompanying out kitty cats to practice in order to hang out with Kuroo and Kenma

Upon entering the gym, everyone stares at you

You low key kinda scare the first years, Inuoka and Shibayama

Yaku and Kai are super interested as in why you are there

Yamamoto is just dead because there’s a girl in the gym 🙄

And Lev, well Lev can’t keep his mouth shut

“Hey you’re that weird chick that wears black and has crazy hair. I’ve heard a lot about you!” Lev screams

Yaku please 😌

“LEV SHUT UP!” Kuroo yells as Yaku kicks him

You just giggle, a sound nobody was expecting, as you say, “I’m Yn! I guess I kind of do get a little bit of a reputation but I promise, I’m not evil or something!”

“She’s actually kind of cute in a different way,” Kai says as Fukunaga and Yaku nodd in agreement.

Soon, you are coming to every practice and helping where you can

Setting up chairs, filling water balls, handing out towels

The boys quickly adore you and soon you just naturally become apart of the team

Kuroo officially asks you the teams manager which you gladly accept

It’s hard finding a club with your specific tastes and since you could still express your style and personality, volleyball club seemed perfect!

You enjoyed playing music, listening to music and writing which were all supported by Nekoma

Our progressive Kings 👑

Honestly they were so supportive of their Emo scene queen!

They loved when you added little touches of red to your outfits and even made a hair bow that specifically said “Nekoma” on it 🥹

Of course, they were still boys so they all found you super cute and adorable

Yamamoto was your personal body guard for everything

It didn’t matter what, he always walked you to every class and if anyone made any comments about you, he would challenge them to a “rumble”

Language you later learned, was picked up from Karasuno 🙄

You had heard about Karasuno and you were honestly so excited to meet them!

Kenma had told you about Karasuno’s tiny middle blocker

On the way to training camp, our sweet boys let you play the music

Honestly Coach Nekomata was way into it 😂

He was such a hip coach and he knew you kids were into some weird stuff

Please he was too 🤚🏻

Anyways, he’s just happy you bring so much joy to the team

And honestly you match Nekoma’s cat-like mysterious vibes

So when you showed up, the other teams just kind of stared at you

Obviously you kinda stood out like a sore thumb Yn, sorry to say

But don’t worry, Yamamoto is on the case 🫡

“WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT? HAVENT UOU EVEN SEEN A GORGEOUS GIRL BEFORE?!?” He screams

You rn 👉🏻😐

Yaku 👉🏻 YAMAMOTO STOP BEING AN IDIOT

You just roll your eyes and smile, bowing to the teams and greeting them

Almost instantly, they melted 🥰

Because like how are you both adorable and scary???

Literally Emo culture mkay

“Come on Yn, let’s go,” Kenma says as you wave and walk away

Eventually you get introduced to all the teams, including Karasuno

You end up making eye contact with Hinata several times as he observes you

Finally, he makes his move

“Hi there! I really like your style! I see your friends with Kenma and the pretty girl manager for Nekoma! I’m Shoyo Hinata and I’m a middle blocker!” He shouts

You smile back and greet him, “Kenma had told me so much about you! It’s so great time finally meet you!”

Kuroo and Daichi watch you both and shake their heads

“Boy short stuff really can make friends with anyone can’t he?”

“You new manager looks super sweet and outgoing, albeit a little interesting,” Daichi says as Kuroo nods

Soon you and Hinata, and by consequence Bokuto, become besties

Honestly you really enjoy hanging out with Akaashi but we won’t tell Bokuto that 😶

You share your knowledge as well as your unique style of cheering with the boys

You wrote cute little cheers and even inspirational poetry to share with the boys

Bokuto and Hinata loved your fancy words : D

And even when Bokuto went into his own Emo modes, the teams knew exactly who to call!

“YN HALPPPP!” Akaashi would silently communicate to you with his eyes

You 👉🏻 NEVER FEAR OUR SCENE QUEEN IS HERE 🦸🏻‍♀️

“Bokuto would you like to listen to some music or maybe we can talk about your feelings?” You say as you rub his back

“I could use a hug,” Bokuto 🥺

Ennoshita Chikara

you tend to exaggerate your actions or just do anything you think is fun causing you to harm yourself.

you talk too much than the usual. your laugh is extra loud. your energy is beyond par.

you can even match with nishinoya, tanaka and hinata's energy which is not usual.

one time, actually a lot of time, you did rolling thunder with nishinoya which ended up, you having a bruise and few scratches on your arm.

so he always keeps an eye on you whenever you haven't sleep.

as for today, you have another bruise on your knees because you tripped on the stairs. luckily ennoshita was there to catch you.

ennoshita massage his nose bridge and sighed. you're at the living room with your boyfriend. "come here."

"why?"

"just come here." you obliged. when you sat beside him, he guided your head and make you lie on his lap. "now close your eyes."

you gasps and hugged yourself. "we're too young for that, chikara." you playfully said.

he flicked your forehead. "stop thinking nonsense and just sleep."

you laughed. "we're my goodnight sleep then?"

he dipped down and kiss your forehead. "sleep. later, i will confiscate that video game."

you whinned. he combs your head and sometimes would massage your scalp too, it was comforting and it feels great. it's not that long that you succumb to sleep.

Nobuyuki Kai

you're just frowning at everyone all day.

kai knows that you're grumpy whenever you didn't sleep at all.

everything just irritates you. you hissed or roll your eyes on people who approaches you or somewhat disturb you.

so everyone who needs or wants something from you, instead of directly coming to you they'd approach kai first.

and kai will do the rest for you.

you don't have any energy to eat lunch but kai bought you chocolate bread, candy and drink to help you get through the day.

you're waiting for him until his practice is done. but for the meantime you're helping their coach in the storage room.

"where's y/n?" kai asked when he noticed that you've been gone for an hour now. he saw your bag on the bench, so you're just around.

their coach dismissed then but there is still no traces of you. "coach, have you seen y/n?"

"y/n's not done yet? can you check the storage room, kai?" kai nodded.

and there you are curled up on a stacked mat. "is y/n there?"

"yes coach, y/n fell asleep here."

that made everyone laughed. he left you for a minute to change and help clean up before carrying you in his back.

"you're so warm." you mumbled and snuggled more to his neck.

"just sleep tight, y/n. i always got you."

Akaashi Keiji

akaashi sighed when you passed by him. "eh? is y/n okay?" bokuto asked.

"no, y/n probably didn't have any sleep at all." he watched you as you bump yourself on a trash bin then bowed down before proceeds on walking.

you tend to be, let's say not yourself when your sleep deprived. like you're physically there but your soul and brain is out there exploring without your body.

he couldn't bare to look away from you. cuz everytime he do, you'll end up bumping onto someone or something or hurting yourself.

"where's your bento?" he asked you as he sat across you. you took out your bento but ypu forgot to bring your tumbler which akaashi noticed.

"i'll jus-" he cut you off. "no, let me buy it. i'll buy you coffee and an energy bar too. just stay here, okay?"

it took him a bit longer since his seniors talked to him a bit. when he came back he saw you sleeping soundly on your desk, not minding the noise around you.

"what will i do to you, hmm?" he caress your head and stare at your peaceful face. he proceed on eating his lunch without waking you up.

lucky for you, the next teacher is absent. but he still needs to wake you up for the last subject.

"y/n, wake up. we still have our last subject." you honestly want to cry but there's nothing you can do, it's your fault anyway.

"hush." he said as he wipe the lone tear that escaped your eye. "we'll sleep together when we get home, okay? just bare with this for the meantime, hmm?" he then caress your back.

"drink this water first. and since you didn't eat lunch have some energy bar." you only nodded at him. he smiled at you, reassuring you'll make it through.
