How’d they act if you called them pretty upon getting catch looking at them…
Dan Heng: blushes. Hard.
He’s not use to someone complimenting his looks as it’s not something he finds important.
‘Are you really that shameless to say such things aloud?’ He’d say while avoiding eye contact with you.
Dan Heng would act as though you just shouted this out loud in front a hoard of people, even though you didn’t.
He’s awkward when it comes to taking compliments aimed his way but his reaction is too fucking cute to ignore and will warrant another compliment his way, which will only serve in making his face brunt redder.
‘Shut up, please.’ He’d plead as he covers a hand over your eyes, feeling as though they’ve stared deeply into his soul and actually see him as a whole person and more. ‘You talk too much about things you don’t understand the first thing of.’
He’s probably going to get teased by March 7th after this and it’ll be used as blackmail, probably.
Give him a moment to breath and calm down before complimenting on how pretty he is because he will combust from how flustered he is.
Argenti: would probably start a compliment war in all honesty because how can you say he’s pretty without admitting that you are also quite a sight for sore eyes.
If you were to compliment his hair, he’d resort back with how even the stars put on their best performance within your presence.
He’s got such a way with words that can easily leave one flustered without even trying. He’d even wax poetry on the spot about how the light catches your eyes in a way similar to that of a kaleidoscope, bright, vibrant and above all breathtaking.
Argenti doesn’t hold back, will not hold back, and will not back down from letting you know just how ethereal you look to him.
He can do this all day, you however could not do this all day seeing how this man has unlimited ammunition when it came to complimenting the beauty of pretty much everything.
(I mean this is the same dude who complimented a plant. 🪴 I bet that plant blushed, we just didn’t see it bc who wouldn’t blush if a chivalrous red head complimented them?)
Welt: smiles softly as a light blush coated his cheeks.
He’s well kept for someone who’s in his 60/70/80’s And he deserves to be told as such!
(all I know is that he’s grandpa age from other ppl)
So when you do compliment him and call him pretty, this old man is going to thank you for such kind words and probably give you head pats as a reward.
He appreciates a kind compliment now and then.
‘Why thank you, I try my best to keep in good shape if I’m meant to keep up with all of you.’ He would say in response followed by a chuckle.
Welt is young at heart and knows that his body isn’t how it once was but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a restless spirit within an old man’s body. So when you compliment him, it only makes him feel good and warm on the inside.
Blade: doesn’t know how to take compliments.
He’s not use to it and doesn’t know how to react to it other than saying something along the lines of;
‘Don’t be ridiculous.’
‘Flattery will get you nowhere.’
Or just straight up. ‘No.’
And all the while his face is like this: 😐 or this 😒
It’s never one or the other, blade just doesn’t view himself worth the compliment, when the only things about him that people see most is that he’s a bad dude in a bad group doing bad things.
He doesn’t see why you’re wasting a kind, genuine compliment on someone whose entire body is riddled in ugly scars.
Blade is the type of person where you’d have to prove that your compliment is genuine or else he just won’t believe it.
Sampo: his ego is boosted to the max.
Well done you’ve made him even more insufferable.
He will smile that Cheshire smile of his and ask to hear what else about him you find appealing besides his pretty face.

However behind his cocky persona, he’s a giggly bitch who’s mentally kicking his feet and writing this interaction in his bubblegum pink diary with a glitter pen.
Sampo is deeply invested in what you thought about the rest of him but won’t let it show as he would consider it ‘out of character’ for himself. So he’ll continue to act the cocky and confident fool like he always does.
He’ll be the type to tease you about potentially killing him while internally screaming himself and telling other people that you find him pretty, much to your embarrassment.
‘You see them over there? Yeah they called ol’ Sampo pretty!’ He’d say to a random person while pointing towards you as you try to hide yourself behind a trash can…only for the trash can to grow arms and legs and walk off elsewhere.
Why were the arms and legs buff as fuck? What was their workout routine? You must know. now.
Sunday: takes the compliment in kind.
He looks like the type to get called handsome or pretty on the daily, so it’s nothing new to him but he’ll take the compliment nonetheless.
He’s probably the most calm out of the bunch when being called pretty, besides from maybe Welt.
He’s not bashful, he’s not overtly arrogant and he’s not in denial about it either. He just takes the compliment as it is and goes on about his day like any other.
Though people would take note on how he’s smiling brighter than usual. Your compliment would stay with him the entire day, as it serves as a reminder of his place within your heart and he’s secretly scheming on ways on how to stay within your heart.

gaz and soap would 100 % make fun of him behind his back and would literally died laughing if they saw price using it, HIM AND SOAP WOULD JUST GO "HAHAHAHAHA" and price would look at them up and down judging their whole living and they would go "don't laugh,you can't laugh." to each other.
in the end of the day, gaz decided to give price a new phone and thought him how to use it like a grandpa and grandchild typa bonding.
GHOST :

Hidan happened to hear it and tells the others and the next day all of them make pointed jokes about things being heavy when Nagato is around. He eventually Shinra Tensei's all of them. Konan laughs so hard she kisses him and forgives him.
Deidara and Sasori at an art museum. Run into Itachi and Kisame there. Kisame comments how sweet the two of them look holding hands. Sasori tells them that there's nothing romantic about it; if he doesn't keep hold of at least one of Deidara's hands he's going to reach into his pocket and bring out his matches and light the paintings on fire to make them more "artistic".
Hidan and Deidara having a chicken wing eating contest. Hidan pretends to choke on a bone to fake Deidara out but Deidara isn't buying it. Kakuzu comes into the room and comments something like " If you can handle mine, there's no reason you should be choking on THAT tiny bone, Hidan." Deidara starts choking for real.
Kisame telling Konan how to learned to use a gentle touch with Itachi by practicing holding cats first. Cuts back and forth between showing Kisame holding cats that are clawing and scratching him when annoyed, to Itachi kicking and biting at him when he's annoyed. Kisame telling Konan that Itachi is more like a cat than she'd think. Itachi then comes into the room and circles the fridge several times and Kisame tells him that No, he already had his dinner, and Itachi puffs up and hisses at him, and Kisame takes a little spray bottle from his pocket and squirts Itachi's nose with it.
Obito and Deidara’s son at school, say kindergarten, and the teacher calls in the parents for a meeting. She tells the two that their son has been drawing “questionable” things during art class. Shows them the pictures and it’s a whole series of Obito and Deidara “playing leapfrog” with each other. Obito is hella embarrassed and keeps apologizing and saying they’ll have a talk with the kid and get a lock for their bedroom door. But Deidara has tears in his eyes and is going “Look at what TALENT my son has, hm!” and asking if he can take the pictures home to hang on the fridge and the teacher and Obito are just staring at him like 😐
Young adults Kakashi and Obito having a “date night” in Obito’s room. Awkwardly flirting all night. But every time one of them do much as leans in for a kiss, Obito’s “grandpa” Madara comes into the room. First to ask if Obito finished his chores. Then to bring in a tray of milk and cookies. THEN he sends little Sasuke in the room to ask annoying questions, and Sasuke is accompanied by his “special friend” Naruto who’s excited to see his Sensei and each boy is too oblivious to realize that they’re interrupting obkk’s date until Itachi finally comes back from a mission and drags them out. And finally, finally when the two think they’re free, they start making out, but right in the middle of it Madara calls out from down the hallway that it’s time for Obito to give him his bath. Kakashi (not for the first time) asks Obito why he doesn’t just move out of his clan’s home and get one of the Jonin apartments in the city like Kakashi himself has. Obito starts to reply that it’s not so bad when Madara calls out again bring the heavy duty toenail clippers because he’s got some “monsters” growing on his feet. And Obito looks at Kakashi and asks how much the rents are in the Jonin apartments.

I don’t believe there’s any love between Captain Grandpa and Alba Dumblrwhore and the Unseen Stone.
You would be able to feel their excitement. It looks and feels awkward to me. Thats why my face is always 😐 when people celebrate made up readings, or continue to “I told you so” concerning this relationship. I hope their own relationship isn’t filled with insecurities, toxicity, and awkwardness such as this one. Makes you question some of their own decisions.

ahh archons, i love em so i’m glad you asked, anon! we haven’t met the other 3 yet so for now i’m only gonna be ranking the four we’ve met so far. so here goes! (disclaimer: this is just my opinion)

a lot of people misconstrue his intentions during the liyue archon quest as him abandoning liyue and leaving them to fend for themselves. but that’s not it at all. he wanted liyue to become independent of their god and throughout the entire debacle with osial he was ready to step in should liyue prove not ready to fare for themselves. he was a good leader for liyue, he helped and guided its people from the beginning and taught them everything they needed to know so they can thrive. he didn’t want them to be too reliant on him, he wanted liyue to grow on their own and create a new era without him. he had done everything he can to prepare them. and like a parent sending their kid off to college, he let liyue become its own nation while still keeping watch from afar, as proven in the chasm archon quest.
now i’ve seen people mad about him ‘lying’ and saying he was useless because he refused to tell the traveler anything about khaenri’ah. but he was under a contract. him being the god of contracts, of course he wouldn’t break it for anything. i dislike it so much when people mistake his actions as him being uncaring when it’s evident he cares a lot about liyue and traveler, as seen from our conversation with him at guyun stone forest during his first story quest. yeah, he lied about not being in the chasm, but as stated earlier, he watches liyue from afar. of course he wouldn’t say he was there because zhongli the mortal would have no business being near the chasm during that time.
he’s honestly one of the characters that made me start playing genshin. i saw an art of him here on tumblr that looked amazing and i instantly liked him. in game first impression though? not very impressed. he seemed like a mediocre guy at first and kinda boring to me, even when he was revealed as the geo archon i didn’t really care for him all that much. whenever my friend gushed on him all i could do was 😐. reading fics of him really changed my opinion on him and now he’s one of my favorites. can’t ever imagine not loving that old grandpa.
second in terms of being a good leader is venti.
you can say all you want about him being a ‘lazy archon’ and ‘ignoring mondstadt’ during their time of need, but i’ll be side-eyeing you with a judging look the entire time. venti is so far from being a neglectful archon, like, yes he’s carefree and he isn’t as hands on with ruling like ei or zhongli, but he comes when his people need him and provides for them in the shadows. he didn’t rule mondstadt because he was lazy, he wanted them to be free and to live peacefully. the thing about ‘letting’ the lawrences enslave people and become tyrants wasn’t his fault. he’d been asleep for a thousand years, thinking they’d be alright without him, and when he came back and saw the state mond was in, he didn’t hesitate to help them. in the archon quest too, instead of letting the traveler, diluc, and jean fight dvalin all on their own, he went and fought with them.
venti has and always will have a special place in my heart. he’s the first person in game to catch my attention, and when we had to leave him in windrise to go to liyue, i was so devastated because i didn’t want to. mhy was so right for choosing him to be the first archon we meet because he just has that comforting aura about him. really my number one comfort character. the way he canonically thinks of mondstadt and its people as his children is so 😭❤️ i absolutely adore him and that will never change.
kusanali/nahida is at number three in terms of being a good leader. so you may be wondering, why not ei? i’ll answer it on her part.
so i was ambivalent towards her when she was first leaked, i had some gripes about her design and i thought i would remain indifferent to her when we meet her in the archon quest, but man, mhy did a great job with sumeru’s storyline. it’s become one of my most favorite archon quests to date. i know there’s a lot of issued regarding her design but you honestly can’t say you didn’t at least feel a bit of pity for her during the archon quest. she’s so intellectual while still being so naive, being a young god but still older than her people. kusanali isn’t a leader, she’s more of a guide to her people and prefers to hide rather than show herself. i’d say she has a low self esteem and constantly compares herself to the former dendro archon. the major reason why she’s so passive with regards to issues in sumeru is that she thinks that this is what the former dendro archon would have wanted and that she has no right to change that because she’s only a replacement.
she does help sumeru in her own ways, however small and unseen they may be. and even then, that’s probably how she wants it to be. if she had more courage and less doubts, if she showed herself to the public and dismantled the sages, she would be a good leader. she’s already empathetic to her people, all she really needs is the right push to take matters into her own hands.
overall, she’s adorable but not very leader material. i hope that changes and that she’s forced to be a more active archon in the following archon quests.
now, you’d think that being my favorite archon would grant her a higher position, but no, ei is strictly in last place in terms of being a good leader. i answered an ask a while ago on my thoughts about ei here!
yes she redeemed herself at the end of her second story quest, but the scars left behind by the sakoku decree and the civil war against watatsumi island aren’t so easily forgotten.
first and foremost, ei is a warrior. she wasn’t built to be a leader nor did she ever expect herself to govern inazuma because makoto had always been there to do it. to be so suddenly put into that kind of position would make anyone make a few mistakes here and there, but ei took it to a whole nother level. she was stubborn in her beliefs, she placed great respect in strength which was why it only took the traveler defeating her to make her think on her decisions. ei isn’t entirely heartless, but she forced herself to become unfeeling which led to the state inazuma was in when the traveler got there.
in her eyes, she thought she was doing what was best for inazuma. what she saw in khaenri’ah probably traumatized her to the point she became obsessed with the idea of eternity so inazuma won’t suffer the same fate as khaenri’ah. still, that doesn’t excuse her actions. she inadvertently caused her people to go mad, those whose visions were taken away were literally going crazy. she never resolved the issue with watatsumi, only put a bandaid on it and hoped for the best. she made sara do all the work on rebuilding relations with watatsumi island. she never truly repented for her actions, only realized she was mistaken and resolved to do better. that isn’t good leadership. she let the fatui do their machinations in inazuma, fully knowing how that would affect her people, yet she still did it. i love her, don’t get me wrong, but ei is a very flawed character. she’s learning though, which is better than nothing. she’s actively seeking to do better for her people and trying to understand them, however clumsy she may be.
i would have put kusanali at last place, but she didn’t ignore her nation’s civil war and let the fatui do as they pleased in her country.
