MIKEY — it's been a month. you haven't heard from him, and you're worried. each day your situation only continues to look worse and worse, and you can't do anything to stop it; or rather, you don't want to do anything to stop it. why? because you understand. you understand that running the biggest criminal organization in all of japan is hard work, and you don't want to bother him. but you're sick of it. you're sick of everything. you miss him. you miss mikey. you miss his lips that used to gently kiss every part of you. you miss the warm embrace he'd engulf you in during late hours, and you miss the gentle words of affirmation that would spill from his lips and sink into your mind. you're sick of the waiting. you're sick of the cold bed. you're sick of the emptiness in your heart that refuses to fill itself as much as you try to seal it. you're sick of being alone. so, you go out to find him. you ask everyone— rindou, ran, sanzu, koko, everyone. you try everyone, but they all reply with the same thing— "i can't tell you." why? why couldn't you know? you were dating mikey, you were loving mikey, why would everyone shut you out like this? what did you do? was he...leaving you? a dozen thoughts raced inside your mind as you walked home from sanzu's place, raindrops staining your clothes. — that night, it was colder than usual. after finally trying to reach mikey, the loneliness only felt worse. you felt cold, neglected, angry, and sad— so many things at once. you ate dinner alone, again, and got ready for bed, again, and sat on the couch to read, again, all alone. all fucking alone. no mikey, just you. you read 50 pages, secretly hoping the familiar head smothered with fluffy white hair would peak through the door, wave, and kiss you. you hoped he'd come home and hug you, cuddle you, and love you. you hoped, and hoped, and hoped, and hoped, and hoped, and hoped, and hoped, and hoped— until the door creaked open. emerging from outside was a tired, pale, and sad face. mikey's face. he showed no expression as he walked right past you, into the bedroom, and shut the door. shocked, angry, and sad, horrified, even— you began to cry. your frame, now standing, began to shrivel up into a ball of despair, as tears poured from your shining eyes. soft cries turned into ugly sobs, ugly sobs turned into screams. you were breaking down, right there on the carpet. hearing your despair, mikey snuck into the living room with a soft yet concerned expression on his face. eyes landing upon you, his eyes widened. he slowly approached your figure, gently reaching out to hold your hand. as soon as he touched you, you lunged at him. you thrust your arms around his neck, and buried your face in his chest. you looked like you were melting into him, and you were trying to. you began wailing meaningless nothings about how he was a jerk for leaving you, neglecting you, scaring you, and coming home like nothing happened. you began to hit his chest, but he just stayed expressionless. you cried for what seemed like hours, and he let you hit him. he let you take all of your rightful anger out on him, and you still hit him. you almost swung at his face, until a callused hand stopped your hammering fist. mikey calmly took your hands in his, and wrapped his arms around you. he held your head to his shoulder as he buried his head into your hair. softly tinkering with your hair, two words quietly stepped from his mouth. "i'm sorry." that was it. that was the final straw. "(Y/N), i'm so sorry." stop it. "i love you...so fucking much." and with that, he carries you off to the bedroom, plopping you down on the bed, and snuggling right up to you. "you're not alone anymore."

she tries though, and that's all that matters.

but sara absolutely adores the affection you give her. like i said, she'll stand stiff for a while, but on the inside she's squealing and relishing in every touch you graciously give her.

she especially loves reassuring handholds. she loves them whenever, but they work best after the main games. when her hallucinations creep up on her, you always seem to swoop down from the heavens and rub her hand,, reassuring her that you're there and unharmed.

CYNO: — cyno would be a bit confused when you first ask to take him. he's never really been to a festival before, but won't reject the idea. actually, he's quite excited. he's usually so busy with his studies, he finds that taking some time off to spend time with you sounds quite nice. — now, cyno's definitely pretty introverted, so don't expect him to be bouncing from shop to shop around the festival with you. he'd prefer a quiet time there; maybe a stroll with some sweets, a picnic just outside the grounds, or a nice meal under a tent with some drinks. — he's also not a big festival game guy, so he'll most likely watch you while you try desperately to win him something to remember the occasion. he'll chuckle at your cute expressions, stand next to you with a hand on your hip, or might even join you if you get lucky. — so overall, it's a pretty chill and fun experience,, maybe a 7/10. cyno isn't a huge festival guy, but if you can get him to have a drink or two, he'll be just as energetic as you, and the night will be really fun. have fun you two <33

YOIMIYA:

— this little firecracker is super excited the moment you ask her. she's all happy and bubbly, hopping up and down and clapping her hands. she prepares an entire outfit for the night, with some cute pumps and her hair pinned up with a shiny hair clip. — once you get there, yoimiya goes all out, running from stand to stand, trying every type of food there is to offer, and the whole time she's dragging you along with her. she keeps that adorable smile of hers all over her face all night, and she truly has never looked happier. — if there's a fireworks show at the end, and you were aware, she's gonna marry you. she's so touched that you always take her and her interests into consideration, and will have you lay your head in her lap the whole time. she'll rub your head, and will weave her fingers through your hair in such a loving way <33 — overall,, 19/10. amazing night, and honestly couldn't be better. she's the first person i'd personally bring to a festival to be honest lol

YELAN:

— yelan is pretty indifferent when you offer to take her to an upcoming festival. she's not particularly excited, but she doesn't hate the idea of going with you. she'll come, if it's what you really want. — yelan might drag you to a few interesting stands, but don't expect her to be screeching every second and dragging you all over the place like yoimiya. she, like cyno, will probably just watch you if you play games, and when she does join you, she'll get super pissed super quick. because of this, she'll drag you away mumbling about how all the games ar rigged lol — if you guys find a good food stand though, yelan is not leaving. she'll be there all night ordering food, and eventually, the shopkeeper will just stop accepting payment from her because she's spent, like, $2,000 on the booth already lmao — overall, 6/10. pretty nice overall, and it'd be enjoyable! <3

keqing is the kind of girl to brush valentine's day off as a "pointless holiday" when in actuality, she gets really nervous about it.

walking around liyue and seeing all of the happy couples, she can't help but feel a pang of guilt in her chest. she can see you'd like to spend the holiday with her, but she's too nervous to accept your offer.

when she does finally cave, though, she's quick to find you a gift. after much searching, she decides on a pretty charm bracelet she saw at the jewelry store.

it has beautiful amethysts and rubies engraved in the charms, and in the center of the accessory is a small heart charm with your first initial and hers carved onto it.

each charm represents one of her favorite memories of you. like the time you both burnt a cake, represented by a cake charm, the time you guys helped a lost child find their parents, represented by a family charm, the time you guys had a picnic during a breathtaking sunset, represented by a sun charm, and so on so forth.

she really treasures you, and wants to continue to open up to and love you. she cherishes all of the love you graciously gift to her, and she couldn't ask for more.

if you were to give her a gift (which would be a beautiful hairpiece btw <3), she'd look at you with the most adoring look in her eyes. one even you've never seen before. she'd wrap her arms around you and begin to smother you in affection, because, why not? you are her favorite person in the world, after all

ganyu originally didn't even know that valentines day was a holiday before she met you. as a matter of fact, she didn't even know about the subject of romantic love before coming to liyue harbor

once you do explain it to her, her mind goes into overdrive.

she goes to cloud retainer to ask, "what should I get (Y/N)? a new brush? no, too practical. a new necklace? no, too classic."

she 100% overthinks it, like she does to everything else.

when the holiday comes around though, she'd left empty-handed. she wasn't able to find anything "perfect" enough for you, so she shamefully admitted she had nothing for you when you gave her a bouquet of glaze lillies.

once you reassure her that valentine's day isn't about gifts or material things, but about spending time with your soulmate and making them feel special, she'll calm down a bit.

please lead her inside for some nice, warm, green tea and a day off from work.

brush her hair and make her feel loved and special. ganyu is a gem, a truly rare one, at that. her love for you is unmatched by anyone, and only you can make her heart race.

yae is quite interested in human holidays, but isn't quite as interested in valentine's day than you'd thought she be.

she was kind of disappointed honestly, she thought it'd be bigger than that.

yun jin's always so exhausted. it feels like everything she does is judged by all of liyue, and to be frank, she isn't wrong. being a famous opera singer, she has to maintain her face, weight, public image, and more. you can't blame her for being tired, can you?

however, it's been rough these past few weeks. she's got a big show coming up, and has been stress eating because of it. a few haters of hers came up to her, calling her fat. she clearly didn't pay any mind, at least that's what you thought.

after shooing them away, you gently took her hand and guided her to your shared home. you surely didn't expect her to fall down right as you got home. tears slipped from her eyes, and you immediately kneeled down to her side. in a desperate attempt to hide her hurt from you, she immediately tried to stop the tears. her hands moved frantically across her face, desperate to wipe the hurt from her entire body, until she was stopped.

months upon months of bottled-up emotions unraveled like a storybook before your very eyes, and it almost angered you that she'd kept all of this stress and feelings from you.

just twirl her hair, rub her back, or just hold her. give her all of the love and affection she needs. tell her that she's not fat, and that you'll love her no matter her weight. tell her that you'll never ridicule or judge her, and make her feel like the only woman that matters in the world. shower her in so much love that she drowns in it, relishes it, and soaks it in.

it'd been such a long day. all you wanted was to lay with shenhe, and you did. it was around 11:00pm when you got home, and your darling shenhe stayed up to make sure you were alright.

you could do nothing but gently attach yourself to her, and whisper words of reassurance. you could do nothing but softly rub her head and back and she sobbed and shrieked into your shoulder, staining your shirt with her tears that glistened in the moonlight.

her hair was disheveled, her clothes bunched up, and she looked like a mess. anyone else would've said she looked hideous, but not you.
