Whatever It Takes

Pairing: Enzo x fem!human!reader

Genre: Angst, Fluff

Characters: Enzo, Y/N, Stefan, Damon.

Description: Y/N is pregnant with Enzo’s baby, but the baby isn’t human. They both do whatever it takes to keep them both alive.

Enzo was over the moon when you told him that you were pregnant. All he ever wanted was his own family and he loved the fact that he was starting it with you. Something became very wrong, however, when, a few months into your pregnancy, Enzo noticed that you were becoming very fragile. Your skin was turning pale white and you barely had any weight left on you.

He took you to see Damon and Stefan to see if they could shine a light on what could be happening to you. The brothers both looked at each other with sadness in their eyes and looked back at Enzo, who’s eyes were wide with frustration. “Enzo, we... we think that the baby is feeding on Y/N, feeding on her blood. We think that the baby is a vampire.”

Enzo was speechless. He looked over at your fragile form lying on the sofa and his eyes filled with tears. He couldn’t lose you, but he also couldn’t lose his baby. You both meant so much to him. He had to do everything he could to save you, whatever it took.

He wiped his eyes and looked over at the Salvatores. “I need to figure out a way to save them both, and I could do with your help. I can’t lose either of them.” Damon walked over and clapped him on the shoulder. “Whatever you need, man. I’m here. We both are.” Stefan nodded in agreement and gave a small smile before following Damon out of the room.

Enzo walked over and sat on the edge of the bed next to you, tucking a few strands of hair behind your ear and placing a kiss to your forehead. “Don’t worry, love. Everything’s going to be alright.”

Over the next couple of months, you, Enzo and the Salvatores talked through a lot of different scenarios of how to keep both you and the baby alive. The only thing that seemed to have worked, though, is blood. Stefan had an idea that with the fact that the baby was living off your blood, you should be drinking it too.

At first, even the thought of it made you uneasy. You flat out refused which really worried Enzo. You were bedridden at this point, you couldn’t move at all because you were so weak. “Please, my love, just give it a try. It could be the one thing that saves your life.” Looking into the sad eyes of your boyfriend was more than enough to get you to change your mind. With all of your strength, you leaned over and placed your hand on top of his, lacing your fingers together. “Ok, Enzo, I’ll do it.”

And that is what had gotten you through the last few months of your pregnancy. However, though, within the last few weeks you started to deteriorate again and seemingly died giving birth. Enzo sprung into action though, and did the first thing he could think of: feeding you his blood. He pierced his wrist and whizzed to your side, pressing his wrist to your mouth.

He stood back with tears streaming down his face, hoping that he was quick enough. Minutes went by and you still hadn’t woken up. He dropped to his knees and let out a heart wrenching sob as the realisation dawned on him. However, a warm hand on his shoulder alerted him and he looked up to see your face smiling, beaming at him.

Enzo jumped up and engulfed you, peppering kisses all over your face. “I thought I was too late. I thought I lost you. I know you never wanted to be a vampire but I also knew that you wouldn’t want our child without a mother.” You leaned back and looked into Enzo’s eyes, complete forgiveness in your features. “It’s alright, Enzo. I’m still here because of you and that’s all I can ask for. I love you will all my heart, Lorenzo St.John, and I always will.”

You leaned in and pressed a passionate kiss to his lips, wrapping your arms around his neck. He quickly returned the kiss, his arms tightening around your waist. You broke the kiss and smiled down at him. “Now, shall we go and see our daughter?” You got up and held a hand out for Enzo to take and you both made your way to see your daughter.

Enzo had finally gotten the family he had longed for for so long and he was never going to let anything else happen to either of you.

May I request a Lorenzo St. John x female reader? This time I was thinking of a lot of fluff and hurt/comfort? If that’s okay of course. Again, human reader please. This time reader is very stubborn and always acts tough. She dislikes supernaturals a lot. She’s friends with Elena and her group.

One day reader gets kidnapped and threatened by an enemy vampire if the Salvatore’s. The brothers save her, but once she gets home she starts to panic and cry because she’s had enough and doesn’t know if she can take anymore of the supernatural drama. But Enzo stops by her house to ask for a favor and the reader acts like she’s fine but it’s obvious she’s been crying and he tries to comfort her, despite her not liking him much.

Ahhh sorry this is long again! I just have so many ideas….um ignore this if it’s too much. I hope you have a wonderful full day and night!!

Description: The reader is kidnapped by an old enemy of the Salvatores and as tries to pretend that everything is okay but fails at doing so.

First Person's POV

Once I turned 18 I promised I would leave Mystic Falls for good. This town is a goddamn beacon for chaos and danger. I wouldn't even be surprised if a hole to the end of the world opened right in the centre of town. One thing I hated more than maths was the supernatural beings that thought the world revolved around them. Of course, I loved Caroline, Bonnie and Elena. I tolerated Stefan and Damon but the others... the others it depended on who they were and what they've done. I tried my best to stay away from the chaos that the group got themselves into, sometimes it was relatively easy and other times it was damn hard.

Every day I make a bet with myself about if it's gonna be an easy day or a damn hard day. I made a bet that it'll be a damn hard day. I don't know what gave me that feeling, it was just that uneasy feeling when I woke up this morning and considering that the Salvatores had been kidnapped and beaten the last few days, I just assumed that the streak of unpleasantness would continue.

Heading towards the town square, I stood, waiting for the girls to show up, putting myself on edge due to the sudden paranoia that someone would be out to get me.

I don't know how it happened, or when it happened but I woke up, tied up and sitting on a mattress laid across the ground. I refused to cry, I would not let myself be seen as weak and give whatever asshole decided to use me as fish bait.

"Y/n... Y/n... Y/n..." I stared angrily at the figure, recognising the person as a Traveller, I rolled my eyes and stared at the figure flabbergasted as he slapped me.

"I need the Salvatores to come here, I see them with you, so here we are," I grunted through the rag, groaning as he pulled it from my mouth and went to speak but was literally hushed by the twit. He put his damn finger on my lips with a tut to silence me.

"Listen here... I don't care about how you want to run your damn mouth, I don't have the time, all I care about is bringing the Salvatores here and following the plan."

"And that would be?"

"Noneya."

"Oh, how mature," I muttered, hissing in pain as his fist collided with my face, I took another breath and smiled at the man showing that I didn't care and that it didn't faze me at all. I grunted as he shoved the rag back in and proceeded to pace the room. I couldn't help but flinch as the door slammed open and within the blink of an eye the Salvatores easily dealt with the guy and the adrenaline seemed to take away my thought processing and I ended up back home without really realising it.

I took a shower, got into my pyjamas, plopped down on the couch and that's when it all came out. I could feel my hands begin to shake, a tightness in my chest formed that made it hard to breathe. The tears came cascading down, the whole room seemed to spin and I couldn't stop my sobs from escaping. I do not want to go through that again, I do not want to be kidnapped and hurt. I can't go through that, this is all too much, maybe I should just move away? Get away from the town of death and suffering.

I couldn't tell you how long I had been crying for, I couldn't even tell you how the panic attack stopped or if it even stopped. I was sitting in a pool of tissues, I had already nearly gone through an entire box, I don't think I've cried this much before, I can't think of a time when the pain has been this bad.

I jumped hearing a knock on my door, I quickly and roughly rubbed my eyes doing my best to make the tears go away and hope that whoever it was wouldn't need anything from me. I forced a smile to my lips as I opened the door, surprised to see the lovely Enzo there, he was a vampire I liked and I will admit there are times when I prefer him over the Salvatores but also just like most of the supernatural my tolerance normally ran low.

"Enzo- hi."

"Hello, gorgeous... listen I need a favour-" The vampire cut himself off, he glanced around to the living area and then back at me. I did my best to keep smiling, not wanting to let my guard down.

"Gorgeous, what's going on?"

"I'm fine Enzo, listen I've got a busy day tomorrow and as much as I'm sure the favour cannot wait I cannot help you today." I tried closing the door on him, groaning as he easily stopped it and slipped into my home. I bit the inside of my cheek, finding it harder and harder to continue pretending that I was okay.

"You've been crying..."

"N-no I haven't. I said I am fine." I tried to make my words more pointed, hoping he'll truly believe that I was 'fine' but Enzo is smart and it was clear that my bullshit lies weren't enough to convince him.

"Talk to me, please." I wrapped my arms around myself, shaking my head, the tears inevitably coming, I could feel my lips quivering and my body shake as the sobs escaped my lips. I could feel Enzo leading me to the couch, he brushed away the tissues and sat beside me.

"Y/n... what's going on? What happened."

"I- one of the travellers took me and used me as bait to draw in the Salvatores... I can't deal with the supernatural any longer... I don't want to go through that again. This- this anxiety, I can't... I won't go through that again. I'm so scared Enzo, I can't keep pretending that I'm fine because everyone looks to me because they think I'm tough but the truth is-" I let out a sob that would prevent me from going on any further without struggling to voice my concerns. I shook my head, angry with myself for blubbering in front of Enzo.

I felt him wrap an arm around me, he lightly rubbed my shoulder, against all my wishes, I let myself curl against him. At that moment I didn't care about who was comforting me, all I cared about was seeking someone who would offer me the comfort I clearly needed.

"I can make it easier for you- I can... if you're comfortable, I can compel you... I can make it go away." I considered, that maybe it would make it easier to just disappear... make it easier to get away from all of this. I was about to allow him to do that but then I thought of Bonnie and Caroline and Elena... I couldn't do that to them.

"N-no, no. Thank you."

"If you ever change your mind... I know we aren't close, I think you don't like me at all but I'll make it go away. If you ever want." I took a few deep breaths, nodding and appreciating that Enzo would do this for me even after knowing that I wasn't his biggest fan.

"I don't not not like you but- it's not important right now."

"You know, you know gorgeous... I still think you are pretty tough, you know it's okay to cry and it's okay be worired." It felt reassuring to know that, I never wanted to let anyone down and I wanted them to know that I am strong and I am tough. That these things won't bother me or effect me.

"Means a lot to me."

Rarepair Rowboat: Denzo | Damon Salvatore x Enzo St. John (The Vampire Diaries)

"Nope." A resounding snap rouses Enzo from his intent concentration on the pages in front of him. He glances up and over at Damon on the couch, watching him smack the now-closed book down onto his thigh. "I still hate it."

Enzo rolls his eyes, chuckling out a half-hearted scoff, and goes back to writing. He's only finished three pages so far, and as much as he knows he could just compel the man in charge to believe that he finished all of them — or that they never existed at all — he actually likes doing the work. Otherwise he would never have taken the job at the University when he heard about the opening in the history department.

Unfortunately for him, Damon isn’t a fan of his job. Or being ignored.

“It’s boring,” he continues as if he never paused, waving the book even as he opens it back up. “I mean — who needs three whole chapters to explain their life story?”

”Us, probably,” Enzo replies, scribbling out a few lines of notes that the head has left for him about not straying from curriculum. He can damn well do as he pleases, especially when their “curriculum” is made up entirely of lies.

“But that’s because we are vampires,” Damon argues. He flips through the books, eyes darting across the pages with a disbelieving expression. “This Odysseus guy has no excuse. Sure, he’s got some interesting things going for him, but we don’t need every little detail. And — I’m not seeing any sexy siren luring in these sailors like you promised.”

Enzo’s eyebrows furrow, and he pauses again to look over at Damon and ask, “You waited until halfway into the book before deciding you don’t like it?”

Damon shrugs.

“Just surprising,” Enzo says, going back to writing. “Last time, you chucked that vampire romance novel in the rubbish after five pages because it was ‘ludicrous’ and ‘uninspired’. Not that I know who made you the ultimate critic of all literature.”

”Hey,” he points the book at Enzo as he gets up, “I was right about that one. And about this one.” He throws the book down onto the couch. “I don’t get why you were so crazy for it back in Augustine.”

Enzo taps his pen against the paper (the other end, he doesn’t want to leave ink marks everywhere). He stares at the wall as Damon moves into the kitchen.

“Because it was about escaping.”

The rustling in the fridge stops.

“It was” —Enzo takes a deep breath— “about finding a way back home in the end, no matter what terrible things happened, to you or because of you. Plus, it was romantic. Fighting every danger in your path just to get back to your family? Who doesn’t fantasise about that happy ending?”

He certainly did. Since the day he got captured by Dr. Whitmore, he was certain that it was just his odyssey. Those doctors were his sirens, and he merely had to find his way back across the sea. And then along came Damon, and he was so sure of it then, even when…

Well. Fifty more years alone somehow still didn’t shake his belief in the idea; he wasn’t perfect by any means, but neither was Odysseus, so why wouldn’t the universe treat them as equals?

He hears Damon come up behind him, then feels his hands on his shoulders. His sigh is pressed into Enzo’s scalp as his fingers gently press a million apologies and regrets into his skin.

“I’m sorry,” Damon murmurs into his hair. “You deserved a way better Penelope to come back to.”

Enzo laughs. A moment ago, a pit in his stomach had released some terrible, fanged creature to gnaw at all of the scars that have long-since healed. But now, he’s just thinking about how he was right. He got back home. Not necess the one he had been taken from, but he found a better one.

He reaches up for Damon’s hands, wrapping his own around his wrists as he leans his head back against him. Damon looks down at him — more like he frowns down at him, like he doesn’t quite understand the joke (he usually doesn’t when Augustine is the topic), but he smiles at the corners of his mouth.

“You are the perfect Penelope for me,” Enzo tells him softly. “Of course, she and Odysseus never tried to kill each other when reunited, but we’re allowed some creative freedom in our own tale.”

Damon actually smiles now. “Now that you mention it, the book could use some vampires. Give the sirens some real competition.”

“We should be thankful we’ve never encountered any sirens,” Enzo replies. “You’d be getting sweeped off your feet at the first pretty voice. I’m living proof of that.”

”I wouldn’t say living.”

”Shut up.”

”If that’s what you want.” Damon kisses him.

Enzo would be rolling his eyes if he wasn’t kissing him back. It’s a weird angle but they’ve been in weirder.

“And for the record, I would resist every siren for you,” Damon murmurs, sounding a little sarcastic, then pulls back completely. “Guess I’ll put up with another chapter of Odysseus’ life story for the epic romance. Better be worth it!”

Enzo watches him flop back down on the couch and pick up the book to find his last page. He smiles, and says, “It was.” When he turns back to his own work, he catches Damon’s smile out the corner of his eye.

A/N: I got carried away with this....

Being the baby of the Mikaelson family isn't easy as you were just a year younger than Henrik and your older siblings were every protective. You were the only other than Rebekah that Mikael wouldn't kill you but you had a secret that you kept from your family.

"Enzo!" You squealed happily jumping into his arms as the vampire smiled brightly spinning you both before Bonnie hugged you. You were in a Poly-relationship with Bonnie and Lorenzo for about a year as dating was hard for you. Your siblings and father had always scared off your partners or killed them.

'They are just using you Y/N.'

'They are just trying to get to the family, little one.'

'We are just protecting you, little one.'

Was what you heard every time they scared a partner or killed them which made you angry and not talk to them months on end. So when you began dating Bonnie and Enzo, you did it behind the family's back as it was the longest relationship you had ever been in.

"Hello darling."

"Hi babe." Bonnie says looping her arm though yours walking ahead of Enzo who was just happy watching his witches.

"Our sister has left again."

"Niklaus, you have to be more accurate. Which sister do you speak of?" Elijah asked closing his book as Klaus came in angry getting Finn's and Kol's attention who were playing chess.

"Y/N. She is hiding something."

"She is an angel and never would do nothing to harm you."

"Elijah, you can say that because other than Finn, you are her favorite. But seriously Nik, Y/N wouldn't go against you." Kol says as Elijah smiled but they frowned noticing Klaus's glare.

"Yet she holds secrets from her favorites." Klaus said as Elijah and Finn looked at one other noticing that indeed you hadn't said a word to them. That night you returned home smiling then pausing seeing your older siblings standing in the den seemingly waiting for you.

"Something happen?"

"Tell us what you have been up to baby sister." Klaus says stepping behind you pushing you into the den then sitting you down. You felt a shiver down your spine as your siblings stared at you.

"Just going out with some friends."

"Now little one, no lying." Elijah said when your phone pinged showing a text came in and before you could grab your phone Elijah took it as Kol grabbed you stopping you.

"She is dating Bonnie Bennett and Lorenzo St. John." Elijah says as you got away from Kol and snatching your phone from Elijah. Klaus stared you down as Elijah was ready to step in if needed but you were an powerful witch with magic that can take out an army.

"So you put this family at risk by dating our past enemy."

"Bonnie had never really done anything to you, Niklaus! Both of them care about me."

"They are using you! I will not have you date the enemy." Klaus said glaring at you as you swallowed eyes watering as Rebekah stood forward.

"Nik is right dear sister."

"No!," You shouted as windows shattered making your siblings freeze seeing your magic flaring,"You all always do this! You ruin my happiness because of your insecure paranoia!"

"If touch them I swear, I'll give you an reason to dagger me." You growled as Elijah stepped forward hand raised to try and calm you.

"No one will be daggering anyone. We are only looking out for you."

"No you aren't! For centuries I had sat by watching you all chase any lovers or slaughter them all to protect me!"

Your siblings swallowed looking away feeling guilt climbed up their backs as Klaus looked at you. Klaus could see the pain in your eyes but couldn't let you continue seeing the witch and vampire.

"Y/N, all we want is you safe. Now please head up st....." Klaus was cut off falling to the ground as you had done the one thing they never thought you would do....use your magic on one of them. You had snapped Klaus's neck then muttered a spell making them fall asleep.

"Y/N....don't."

"Sorry Elijah, for once I am getting what I want." You said walking out of the den heading up stairs to pack a bag. They all wouldn't wake until you left the Abattoir and had no idea where you ran off to with your lovers.

Cartmel, Lake District, England

You had settled in the English countryside with Bonnie and Enzo after the fight you had with your siblings just two years ago. While both Bonnie and Enzo thought you shouldn't had fought with your siblings, they understood that your family wasn't really good with feelings.

"How are you feeling?" Bonnie asked you joining you on the couch gently touching your swollen belly. You smiled grabbing her hand kissing the wedding band on her hand.

"Feeling good, they finally settled." You tell Bonnie as Enzo came in smiling at his wives joining you both on the couch. A year into arriving you three agreed to marry and just seven months earlier learned you were pregnant.

You and Bonnie was half asleep when there was knock making Enzo sigh getting up to answer, your siblings stood there. Both Bonnie and Enzo got protective which your siblings noted even though they needed to invited in.

"Why are you all here? Was me leaving not clear enough?" You say glaring crossing your arms as right away your family noticed your belly.

"We came to apologize and that you were right." Klaus says as you looked at him seeing his blue eyes filled with guilt and hurt. After waking your siblings tried finding you then moved to find Enzo and Bonnie only to learn you ran off with them. Your siblings thought over your words noticing how they hurt you over the centuries.

"Do you mean it?"

"Y/N, we do and are willing to wait for your forgiveness no matter how long." Elijah said watching your wife and husband look at you as your siblings saw the wedding bands on your fingers.

"I'll only let them in if you want, babe." Bonnie tells you lacing your fingers together as you nodded. They came in seeing pictures on the wall of you with your wife and husband as the pictures of your wedding day got your older siblings attention.

"So....pregnant."

"Yes Kol you can feel." You say rolling your eyes fighting back a smile as your brother touched your belly.

"You married them?"

"Of course, Bonnie and I love her more than anything." Enzo says kissing your head with Bonnie sitting next to you. That night you talked to your siblings and them welcoming Bonnie and Enzo to the family while you still were upset with them, you forgave them seeing them enjoying the newest members of the Mikaelsons and soon to be born little one.

So here are few facts about me-:

I love reading and writing, some my favorite books are the twisted series, haunting and hunting adeline, yhe folk of air series and many more.

I am a Minor!!!!

I am a Pisces. My birthday is on 14th of March.

I am an Indian, so there might be a few fics where I have used my language which is Hindi, don't worry there will be translation given as I know not many know this language of mine.

I am a very big extrovert, so feel free to talk to me anytime, you can send in an ask or message me privately, I am fine with anything!

My personality type is ENFJ-T, which is the protagonist personality (If you didn't understand, which at first even I didn't)

Some of my hobbies are-: Playing the piano, Dancing (classical), painting, swimming, dreaming about Draco .

My favorite characters in Harry Potter would be Harry (obvio), Ron (he's soo underated), Draco 💚, Neville, LUNA!!, Oliver Wood, Hermione, Fred and George!!, the Weasleys, Snape!!, Minerva McGonagall, and the list could go on!!

I am a Ravenclaw, who is very VERY proud to be one, I qualify as being clever, witty, creative, having wisdom and etc.

My Second Hogwarts House

If I had an option for having a second house then I would be a Slytherin, now when I first took the quiz I got Ravenclaw but after that I took it again (cuz why not) and I got Slytherin. Now when I saw the traits I have quite the traits of both the houses, I am ambitious, resourceful and I have a looot of leadership values.

My Patronus - My patronus is a Dragon 🐉

Drinking Buddies ~Damon Salvatore~

Description: Damon and reader share stories over a couple of drinks.

Warnings: she/her pronouns, fluff, angst, mentions of drinking, writing gets lazy at the end

Word Count: 729

First Person POV

"So, I see a closed bar is where all buried guilt-ridden people come." I rolled my eyes once I heard his voice, it was not the voice I wanted to hear in this moment and I could practically feel his smirk radiating in the room.

"Damon. Pleasure to see you again." I spoke, putting the glass of bourbon to my lips, placed it on the bar counter and swivelled around to face the cocky vampire.

"What guilt is eating at you?"

"I thought you said I have buried guilt? I have no guilt..." I denied, pouring myself another drink and pouring one for Damon as well. He took the glass, sitting beside me, clinking his glass with me and forced me to stare at him.

"That is what guilt-ridden people do who hide their pain, we deflect."

"This is talking from experience, yeah?" I taunted, raising an eyebrow as Damon chuckled lowly, the man made a face and waited to hear how he would deny what I said.

"Oh, yeah... I am talking from experience." I looked at Damon surprised, I didn't expect him to admit that, he smirked once again and pulled my chair closer to him.

"What? Didn't expect me to admit to that?"

"No, I didn't but good on you, Damon you're growing as an immortal person."

"Come on, talk to me, I'm a great listener when I want to be. I know I don't make it seem like it's true but I do care and you don't seem like you're enjoying yourself. So what happened?" I took a breath, shrugging slightly and made a sound as Damon took the glass from my hand.

"You don't get this back until you talk, so talk."

"Fine, Damon... with everything going on, it's just hard to adjust to sometimes. I feel like I'm still in shock at times, like when do we get a break? When is someone not dying? I'm so sick and tired of all of this. I hate it. As much as I love all this supernatural crap that exists, there are times when I wish I didn't know so I didn't have this guilt on my shoulders knowing that so many people have died because of the baddies we deal with or people are dead because we had to kill them to survive."

He passed me back my glass, rubbing my shoulder, as I took a drink and seemed to be trying to formulate a plan to offer some kind of comfort.

"Look, I'll be honest, there are times when I wish the same. I wonder what my life would've been like if I hadn't met Katherine and if I hadn't become this but then despite the years of terrible things I have done. I got to meet the wonderful person that is right in front of me. So I don't know about you but I think that's a pretty good outcome."

I was speechless for a moment, I couldn't hide the smile that he managed to conjure up.

"Thank you, that's nice of you to say."

"Have you ever considered being a vampire?" Damon asked, I shrugged my shoulders for a brief moment, already knowing the answer before he even asked it.

"I would want to be a vampire." I simply smiled but Damon could read the underlining statement hanging in the air.

"But you want to have a kid."

"Yeah, but there's always adoption if I become a vampire first."

"Nice way to look at it."

I couldn't take the depressing conversations any longer, I hopped over the counter and grabbed Damon's favourite bourbon and mine as well. I yelped as I crashed into Damon's chest as he suddenly appeared in front of me.

"What can I do for you?"

"Go on a date with me."

"Can this not be our date right now?"

"It certainly can be." We shared stories over drinks; Damon told me the adventures of different timelines, how he's watched the world evolve but stay the same at the same time. It was nice being able to see Damon's softer side away from everything that we constantly go through and I do hope to see more across future dates.
