Josha the Malotologist

A short comic abt Josha and her cute little test subject Malice :] (Dialogue undercut!)

Page 1 -

I am Josha and I am an aspiring Malotologist. I created this new field as I want to study this fascinating parasite, and to teach and show others to not be afraid of it.

I was born a year after the attack occurred, while I wasn't really directly affected by it. In a way, me and other children have to deal with the aftermath of The Calamity.

Page 2 -

What fascinated me of this "monster" was how it was possible to corrupt all the technology done by the ancient Sheikah, including the Divine Beasts.

The day I found out that Malice has a form of sentience, I show it to my teacher Purah and Robbie.

However, they seemed far from thrilled.

Page 3 -

I would ask simple "yes" or "no" questions and Malice would go to each side to answer.

I would reward it by giving it a small piece of meat, I shouldn't do this as I can see it is gradually growing from it's tank.

But I wanted answers and it seemed like such a rare opportunity to have to speak to one of the sources.

Page 4 -

One day, I woke up and headed to my lab and realized that the Malice that I was testing on grew a mouth filled with teeth.

"Do you understand me?"

'Yes...'

"How were you able to grow a mouth?"

'Meat...'

Ah. Guess that's my own fault. I decided to press on

Page 5 -

"I have a question, how were you able to corrode and corrupt the Guardians and Divine Beasts?"

'Low...Guard...Pathetic.'

It did not gave me a cohesive answer that I--

‘I…use. Guards…to see…I have eyes

I see every-thing-Hyrule.

I eat to grow, consume.

I have eyes, I see. Everything.'

'[Ex]-cept, forest.

Sword of Evil's Bane

I must see I don't. Have. Eyes in there...

Help me grow turn me into one...'

I put Malice back into its smaller jar.

I didn't tell anyone about this. For the first time working with this parasite I've felt true genuine fear.

I leave my lab more often than before, I'm afraid that one day it will catch me by surprise.

I wanted to discard of that jar...but it knows. It always knows.

Brucie: “At this point I’d rather you constantly going out to parties like they did”

Brucie: “Dick I cannot believe you have been taking your 8 year old brother out until god knows when?????”

Damian: “Father we ar-“

Dick: “YES BRUCE IM SORRY FOR BEING SO IRRESPONSIBLE AND LETTING A CHILD GO OUT AT NIGHT. NO REASON A CHILD SHOULD BE GOING OUTSIDE.”

It's so funny that my brain wanted to think of scenarios of Beta Wally and Dandy but instead of designing and writing a Beta Dandy, I made up a whole au in my head to come up with a complicated ass reason as to how they would be able to meet and interact.

It's just a stupid little not at all canon thing I daydream and doodle about. But anyways that is to say if I do post doodles of them interacting, it's very much just that silly stupid au and the brain worms from it.

So if beings of stardust au eclipse can hypnotize people how exactly does it work?

He has a swirly eye that hypnotizes others! So they have to make eye contact! It can be avoided but it's hard to not look him in the face! While hypnotized, the being is still present, just not in control of their body! Eclipse can't necessarily enter the mind and take the wheel, he can sorta alter the minds of others by "ghost controlling" in which he makes them think they're acting on their own will! It's like another form of gaslighting and manipulation! Also, once he's made eye contact and hypnotized, he doesn't have to continue that eye contact. Eventually, it'll wear off and he won't have control anymore but he can "reset the timer" of his control by making eye contact again! The further away the eye contact, the less time he has to control others! Also, mental strength plays a part in it! If the being he's trying to control has an extremely guarded mind, he can't control them very well, sometimes not at all! Also, if eclipse is weak or distracted, that can limit his abilities!

I'm aware of what this scene is, but I am in love with Zoro's facial expression (and his dedication to even buying a shirt that looks like it is somehow three sword style?) so very much. Not just because then lovely exposed throat, earrings that make me want to tug them *just to see what happens* or because of my god look at that puppy dog expression. I'm aware he could rip out my throat, I still want to pet him.

I can't tell if he's confused or he's thinking, "Wonder how many times I could cut it up before it's no longer sliceable?"

Like Nami's expression says they're staring at something horrifying.

Zoro's says "Huh, so that's what a shichibukai looks like."

"Kay gonna go attack now."

Help I'm hyperfixating on ponies again.

Ann and Nicolas in a My Little Pony AU. In this AU, ponies choose their names AFTER they get a cutie mark so they can have an "accurate" name. In the meantime they use placeholders/nicknames. Ann is called "Little Mare" for now and Nicolas is just "the prince".

Obviously Nicolas is super self-conscious about being a blank flank despite being an immensely powerful unicorn. He can do so much with his magic, how could he not have found his true calling yet? Ann, as in canon, doesn't have any memories--there is some speculation that the white spotting around her flank might be left over from a past cutie mark that was lost along with her memories.

Anyway they're best friends and will help each other find their true talents in due time. Little Mare calls the prince "Your Majesty" and he refers to her as "surprising" often in conversation.
