Hey everyone! So, here is an update on the comic: In the first part of chapter 2, less than 10 pages remain for sketching (previous one was for thumbnailing and rough sketching)! These last remaining pages are the more difficult ones as they probably contain an angle or detailed background I still have to figure out.

but I also came here to mention that this chapter will no longer have two parts; it will only have one part, which is the one I'm currently working on. That means the second part of chapter 2 will become chapter 3. I realized that it was probably for the best of me, especially for the story since Part 2, which is now Chapter 3, is a little more longer than Chapter 2. whats great abt this is that I have the script done! and I can just head straight to thumbnail sketches once chapter 2 is complete!

thats all I have to say for now! once I'm done sketching I will upload them on my Kofi for anyone who is a Star Tip member!

Update! Rough sketching is done! I was able to knock it down by 32 pages! I could maybe start lineart but I would probably clean up a few sketches before starting!

TLoZ AU: Lost Family FAQ

What is this AU about?

This is primarily a BotW AU. It has horror and dark fantasy elements with a light-hearted tone. This AU's central premise is Ganondorf, a Gerudo, raising his adopted child Sheik, a half-Hylian and Sheikah, in the Korok Woods with the help of Navi, the Elder Fairy. Ganondorf has been living in these woods with Sheik for 17 years. 17 years ago, The Calamity arose and attacked Hyrule, destroying Hyrule Castle, controlling the Divine Beasts, and taking complete control of Sheikah technology, spreading Malice everywhere it could, making it unsafe to travel. This does not affect our protagonists as they are safe inside the Korok Forest, but only time will tell when secrets will start to unravel any further in the story.

What audience is this for (comic rating)?

Teenage Audience (16+) will be depictions of horror, body horror, and gore, with slightly suggestive themes. (WARNINGS WILL UPDATE AS CHAPTERS KEEP UPDATING)

What is the process of a comic chapter and updates?

This is a personal project of mine. I tend to go at my own pace, which means a comic chapter update could be sparse and be on a hiatus. Once a chapter is complete, there would be a five-page update each Friday at 12pm central time. People can purchase a whole comic chapter via my Ko-fi to get the entirety of the chapter without waiting for weekly updates and get exclusive bts of my progress in comic making.

There is no "Link" in my AU; this AU focuses on Ganondorf and Sheik, along with other side-OC characters.

Hi update on chapter 2 pt.1 & 2,, decided to go back and rewrite part 1 and knocked out 10 pages which is great for me tbh idk if I’ll remove or add more when drawing the thumbnails. And for part 2 im still unsure on some parts in the writing but I think I’ll just focus on part 1 for now as everything is pretty much ready

I've wondered for a bit, who's your favorite character in the comic to write or draw? Do you have a specific reason for why you like them?

I had a blast working on this chapter! :] With who's my favorite character to draw and write for this chapter is a little difficult to say. I liked writing Ganondorf's and Sheik's relationship with one another, that is kind of the whole premise of Chapter 1 to be properly introduced by these two and how they interact with one another. My personal favorite part of the chapter that I wrote was Ganondorf encountering the Hearty Truffle, though my OTHER favorite part of the story is coming up and I am eager to see how people are going to react to that! For drawing, similar to writing I don't think I had a top favorite character to draw, just favorite panels/moments that I am really proud on they turned out. I'll share my favorite panels of the pages that have been posted so far! Cause trust me the later ones were even more fun for me to write/draw!

writing for chapter 2 is done! I mentioned previously that I had to split it into two parts as it is going to be a lot. The total page count so far is 85 pages (pt.1 - 42 pgs / pt.2 - 43 pgs). btw reason why I say "so far" usually when I work on thumbnail pages I get to adjust and change things about them now I have much clearer vision on what to do.

Hi so current stage of Chapter 2. Ultimately I realized this will be a big chapter and I decided to split it into two parts. I just completed the first part of the chapter and now starting on the second part of the chapter. Im hoping (and praying) that this will be less than a 70 page chapter
