"Homoflexible is just bi with a preference!" It really isn't... its more like a type of abrosexual/abroromantic, where your orientation literally changes, bi people like two or more genders all of the time, their orientation doesn't change, they're always bi, but they might be more drawn to one gender over the others, homo/heteroflexible people like one gender all/most of the time, and then occasionally feel attraction to another gender that they normally don't feel attraction to in addition to or instead of the primary gender.
So to sum it up,
Bi=attracted to two or more genders constantly, may be more drawn to a specific gender over others but still experiences attraction to two or more genders all the time
Homo/heteroflexible=attracted to one gender all/most of the time, occasionally experiences attraction to a different gender in addition to or instead of the usual gender they're primarily attracted to
Another example
A bi person is attracted to 2 or more genders 100% of the time vs a lesbiflexible person who is attracted only to women 90% of the time and attracted to men 10% of the time
It's not about how much you experience the attraction, but how often
There are also things such as "biflexible" that are kind of the reverse! So someone who is attracted to two or more genders most of the time, but is sometimes only attracted to one gender!

What does "homoflexible" mean
a guide
homoflexibility or anisosexuality is a term for someone who is homosexual, but very rarely has periods of attraction towards dissimilar genders, the way these periods can play out are numerous and diverse, mine suddenly starts, becomes stronger in the middle before starting to fade out (gay attraction fades back in) and eventually completely dissapearing, some homoflexibles have very sudden spikes of attraction, some have no fading at all while others have attractions that go back and fourth before disappearing, etc, there are a million ways to be homoflexible, homoflexibility is a valid orientation, it is one of the oldest microlabels, going back into the 2000s and maybe even 90s, it’s twin heteroflexibility is often talked about more, and homoflexibility is overshadowed, many people are against homoflexibility, believing that it is biphobic, this is false, the homoflexibile experience is often different from both bi and homoinflexible experiences, many homoflexibles identify as exclusively homoflexible, some identify as bi, bi and gay, or just gay. one point that anisophobes love to bring up is that being “homoflexible is like being a vegan and sometimes eating meat” i have several posts explaining why this analogy is bad, i will link those in the comments.

may i request homoflexible terms, but instead of it being flexible with the straight flag/opposite gender implications, its like.. the opposite mono orientation? Like lesbiflexible with the flexible part being gay/vincian/ect, and the other way around for vincianflexible
Homoflexible or anisosexual is used to describe an individual who is generally gay/homosexual/homoromantic/equaric/simul- (vincian/veldian, enbian/cenelian, or lesbian/sapphic) and primarily experiences attraction to the same gender/similar genders, but has very occasionally rare tendencies to be attracted to other genders.

Lesbiflexible is a subset of homoflexible, in which one is a lesbian flexible with another orientation.
The first flag is lesbiflexible through bennetian; a lesbian with flexibility in hetero attraction to men.
The second flag is lesbiflexible through julietian; a lesbian with flexibility in women-loving-men orientation.

Hi. I made this subtle change to my bio recently but I felt the need to address it here.
The first thing I should start with is that when I first joined Tumblr I identified as "androgyne" but that label never quite sat right with me as my gender identity was more of a middle ground between femboy and tomboy. I now identify as "themboy", which is the commonly used label according to Reddit.
My pronouns are she/they. I don't feel comfortable just using one or the other, it has to be both.
The second thing I should address is that I am a homoflexible lesbian. What this means is that I am primarily attracted to women and femspec genders, but there is a very marginally slim off-chance that I will experience attraction to someone on the other end of the gender spectrum. Some consider this as part of the multisexual spectrum or the abrosexual spectrum. I don't consider myself either of those things but that doesn't invalidate others who do.
I've seen some takes online claiming flexibility to be bi erasure when it really is not. Bisexuality is generalized attraction to two or more genders at all times. Flexibility is very context-specific.
That is all I felt the need to say here.

Orientation and sexuality don't have to be 100% absolute. I'm almost entirely demiromantic but through a mix of extreme platonic attraction and wanting a relationship I've gotten myself a sort of crush on someone I'm just forming a friendship with (though she's been friendly to me before, we hadn't gotten close because we are both neurodivergent and terrible with people). I don't feel like this invalidates me as a demiromantic because for one, it wasn't a natural formation like my last relationship, and it's not entirely clear how I feel, and for two, this is THE first exception. The only one.
If a lesbian likes one guy in their whole life, they are still a lesbian if they identify that way. They don't even have to use the bi modifier. They could use lesbiflexible but they don't even have to do that. Sometimes there's one person who ends up an exception, or very few people who end up as exceptions. Like I'm still demiromantic even with just one girl as an exception so far.
(Of course, I believe anyone who loves women can be a lesbian, but I am talking about using it exclusively in this specific context)

Just llike lunian, bi lesbian can mean different things to different people, so here are the bi lesbian specific tidal labels! Flags based on Kenochoric's Bi lesbian flag!
#1: Full-Moon Springtide Bi Lesbian

back to my old url and my old self and i think ive got it figured out! im a bi lesbian, i cant be just one, neither feels right on its own, i like men but i dont know if i like them enough to want to date one if, god forbid, my gf and i break up and i feel like im right on the edge of bi and lesbian, i feel like my girl half is a lesbian and doesnt like men but then my boy half is bi and likes boys and girls, and altogether i feel like, homoflexible, or lesbiflexible but i feel weird identifying as a lesbian and not bi but then i feel weird identifying as bi but not a lesbian, its like the grass is always greener on the other side so im just going to sit on the fence and enjoy both yards :)
