As I’m learning to be more comfortable with being partly fem I notice that it’s a distinctly different sort of femininity than whatever is expected of me when I’m considered a cis woman. When I’m perceived as cis it feels…wrong. Forced.

Definitely part of it is because of sexism but it’s also because…I’m not cis. I’m non-binary. Multigender. Genderfluid. Whatever other labels describe this mishmash within me. To be regarded as cis, even when I’m feeling more fem, it’s not correct

I don’t know if there’s a term for what I’m describing but I can tell the difference. When the vast majority of people default to she/her, when they call me a girl or a woman or a lady, it feels icky. I feel forced, stuck.

But when my boyfriend talks with me…man. Whole ‘nother thing. He knows I’m non-binary. He freely switches pronouns and terms around and it’s awesome. And when he uses she/her? Calls me a woman or a girl? It feels so different. It feels good. I think it’s because he knows I’m not just a woman. I’m not just a guy either. I’m Tobias. He knows, he gets it, and he respects that. It’s…gah, it’s euphoric

It’s funny, not really being all that fem and getting euphoria like that from fem terms. Proof that terms don’t equal gender!

If you’re trans and tucking or binding is not giving you the happiness and relief you thought it would or should, you’re not the only one. For many trans people those things alleviate dysphoria, give euphoria, and/or help with gender presentation, but it’s not something that happens with everyone, and you shouldn’t be expected to do them and like them.

Favorite overall is Engeki/Theatre, but I figured I'd do my favorite for each group because why not? More info about my feelings under the cut because this post is long enough as is

Leo/need: Regulus. It was Voices until Regulus got leaked, and then this almost instantly became my second favorite song in the game. Honami sounds amazing, and KAITO's tuning is leagues better than it was in Hoshi wo Tsunagu (worst 4th rotation song and it's not even close because of the tuning). What's especially funny is Leo/need is tied for my least favorite group (with WxS)

MORE MORE JUMP!: IF. I nearly gave it to JUMPIN' OVER ! or The Peachy Key, but no, IF still takes the top spot. My one issue is I hate Airi not being in this set. It's funny, this ended up being the only song not from 4th rotation. Anywyas I still wish Haruka got her 4th event with the r-906 commission... I knew it would be great and I love JUMPIN' OVER ! but man... Haruka was robbed

Vivid BAD SQUAD: Gekokujou (no I am not using the EN title. I refuse). I nearly gave it to Kashika because Kashika is amazing, but... Gekokujou is ridiculously important to me. It and its event were leaked right after my grandma died (in an odd coincidence with the event, from pancreatic cancer). This song has helped me cope and got me through some of the darkest days of that time. Either way, though, I flip back and forth between Gekokujou and Kashika as my favorite

Wonderlands x Showtime: CYBERPUNK DEAD BOY. It's really not even close. Mr. Showtime and Hakoniwa no Coral (again, refusing to use the EN title) are runners up for this, but there has yet to be a disappointing Rui commission imo. Also, EMU FINALLY GOT TO SWEAR (kinda)

Nightcord at 25:00: Engeki and it's not even close. This is my favorite song in the game. I'm so excited for the full version to come out (and I only wish the single was coming out on my birthday, but no I have to get Teammate and Hug instead). Next closest are probably Samsa and bug because I have predictable picks

Identity Timeline Tool

I've had this idea for a while but don't have the coding chops for it.

But I think a queer timeline site would be super cool. like a way to visually show your queer journey with like pop-ups of what labels you identified with and what flags you used at the time. I just think it would be a really cool way to keep track of changes and honor your former self and identities.

Is agender + genderfluid a thing? Like I call myself nonbinary and genderqueer as broader terms, but also genderfluid. I'd say I'm masc, fem, androgynous, neutral / aporine, and agender / genderless, and where I fall on that specific five-point area tends to move around. Maybe fluidflux?

I say masculine and feminine because I consider them separate from "Male / Man" and "Female / Woman," they're just facets of myself that don't really connect to any binary gender. Below this text is an example of what, from what I've seen, the fluidflux flag looks like:

It's pretty fun to be enby in the "it's queer and gay no matter who" kinda way. Although not many people IRL know me as enby, it's still a part of myself that I'm glad to have and wouldn't trade for the world.
