“of course, unnie.” jina's voice was as soft as the smile she wore while she gazed at nayeon. “i'm always with you, even when you're soloist nayeon instead of twice nayeon.” she grinned at her own words, a rather cheeky one at that, while nayeon could only let out an amused scoff.

nayeon's journey as a soloist was just beginning, but jina swore that she, just like the rest of twice, will be there for her every step of the way.

hi! i'm turtle/proxy/25, pronouns they/them, and this is my new account for writing requests and commissions! specific details are still being hashed out and released, so please be patient and look forward to updates if you're interested.

i'll be accepting requests and commissions for x readers/imagines and oc inserts. this includes any gendered writing and pairings desired (i'm queer, i get it).

rpf is also theoretically on the table, if that's something people are interested in.

as far as subjects, at the moment writings are limited to specific kpop groups and idols.

i'm not new to writing, or commissions/requests, or even writing specifically for kpop or the x reader/oc scene. i am however new specifically to combining all these things, and on tumblr. if there's any specific news, etiquette, etc. that i ought to know, please do tell! inbox and messaging is generally open always for conversation and discussion so long as you're respectful and mean no harm.

you may notice the ateez tags in particular. this is because they're my ult and i have stronger, recent experience in writing ateez fic. however, i am infamously a major multi who has fallen in love with a few too many groups. feel free to simply ask if i write for so-and-so if you're curious or would like to request.

on the matter of the actual writing and notion of request vs commission:

requests are free, for shorter writing such as drabbles, are limited to x reader/imagines only, and i would prefer they come in through the inbox.

commissions are priced (flat vs flexible fees and system to be determined/added), can be for longer writing but technically any length goes within reason, are prioritized, include all writing types such as the theoretical rpf, and i would prefer they come through messaging. the commissioned writing can be sent privately, such as through email, or published on this blog if so desired. if you pay for a commission, i also allow posting or publishing on other platforms for free, so long as i am credited.

additionally, commission details are discussed before i accept them, so that both parties are aware of the expectations and limitations. i have full right to not accept a commission, for any reason. if i refuse a commission for reasons such as personal beliefs, comfort, etc., the requester may of course alter the details of their commission if they so like. for obvious reasons, the commissions are sensitive so i want to be very thorough with the process, and to guarantee a completed and satisfactory product within a reasonable time frame.

you may ask why you should pay at all. you do not have to pay. (that's partly why the requests option is there.)

i am aware that fic is free and accessible to all on multiple platforms, and you can easily turn to someone else. if you can't or don't want to pay, completely fine! i understand! in fact, i highly encourage people to turn to other writers who are interested if they would rather not ask from me.

but today's economy and job market is absolute fucking shit, and most people and places don't actually want to hire someone like me. my financial situation is very bad, and it doesn't really matter what kind of freelance services you can provide if no one is able to afford it. i figured that it wouldn't hurt to offer commissions so i can afford lunch if nothing else.

if you can or want to, at all, please do contact me for commissions! and if not commissions, i still would absolutely love requests. i am trying very hard to keep practicing my writing and to nurture my love for it, which has admittedly been difficult for a number of reasons.

Every time I picture a fic in my head with one of my real life or fictional crushes, it’s never a self-insert. It’s always an oc of mine. Most of the time I come up with them with the sole purpose to ship them with the person in question and that’s when I can indulge myself in my self-made romances. I’m uncapable of imagining myself, as I am, living those romances in first person, unless it’s someone close to me, like that cute waitress I see everyday or my hot coworker.

IT'S NOT A READER INSERT IF YOU'RE USING I, ME, MY, AND EQUALLY ITS NOT READER INSERT IF IT'S AN OC.

Please just tag your fics appropriately. I'm sick of seeing oc's and "I did this I did that", when it's supposed to be a reader insert fic.

I'm also begging if you intended for your fic to be reader insert use, you, yours, yourself - any variation of you. Doing that helps put the reader into the fic help them to imagine they're the main character, hence the term reader insert. It is the core of what a reader insert fic should be.

(There is the EXCEPTION OF not using you variants when you're using SHE/HER, HE/HIM, THEY/THEM, so if you're writing in third person using y/n.)

I don't mean this post as a post of discouragement. It's a post born of frustration but hopefully can be taken as a good piece of advice.

I have had someone point out that we can just scroll but bare in mind you don't know how much the tags of x reader can be clogged up by OC fics which can really grate on the people who have come to the X reader tag to consume X reader fics.

Keep writing don't let anyone tell you to stop. Just if you could please keep in mind what type of fic you're trying to portray so you can tag it appropriately, and use the right POV for the right fic.

I was just looking at my old One Direction blog for reasons and realized that one of the posts I had that was pretty popular is almost at 25,000 notes and another post I had that got reblogged by a really popular blog is at almost 156,000

#i also looked at my 1d masterlist and the few kpop fics i wrote and like #i miss some of those fics i was really proud of them #im not gonna reread them now bc i'll probably cringe since i was like 17 or 18 when i started writing some of them #but yeah some of the kpop fics are probably cringe too but less cringe than the one direction ones #also i used to write a lot more ships than reader insert fics lol #well i wrote scenarios that were reader inserts but not whole ass fics like i do now #all my actual fics were either member x member ship fics or member x female OC fics

jina followed sana around the store, every now and then taking a whiff of the different perfumes that caught sana's interest to give her opinion on the scent. the store was practically empty, and the staff, even though they had recognized the two idols, were very respectful and gave them their space to browse, so both sana and jina lowered their guards as they shopped.

“aren't you from twice?”

the sudden appearance of a man in front of the two made the both of them jump slightly in surprise, looking up at the stranger wide-eyed. he gasped when he got a better look at their faces, the look of excitement on his face unmistakable. “you are! you're jina and sana!”

although still taken aback, the two smiled and nodded politely. they assumed him to be a fan, and they didn't want to be unnecessarily rude to one of their beloved onces. “can i take a selca with you guys?” he asked, already taking his phone out without waiting for an answer from either of the girls. they were starting to think that the guy was taking advantage of their politeness, and jina wasn't gonna let that happen.

“i'm sorry, but we'd rather not,” she told the man while still smiling, though now nowhere near as genuinely as before, stepping in between him and sana. “we'd really appreciate it if you would let us shop in peace.”

the man scoffed in response and jina was caught off guard by his blatant rudeness. “oh come on, it's just one picture. wouldn't hurt anyone, right?” he took a step closer to jina and that added to his refusal immediately made her feel uncomfortable, as she took a step back into sana to get away from him. as this happened, sana caught sight of the man's phone, the device catching her attention due to how weirdly he was holding it, she noticed. that was when she saw that the camera app was opened and it was currently recording a video. the man took another step forward and as he did, his hand holding his phone moved closer to the hem of jina's dress. upon realizing this, sana could've swore she started seeing the world in red.

despite being younger, jina had always been the protective one between her and sana. she'd do anything to protect her unnie, be it from bugs or from haters, doing so without much thought. but sometimes, even the protector needed protecting, and sana was more than willing to and capable of defending the younger girl.

the older protectively pulled the younger behind her and faced the man invading their personal space, her usual bright and cheerful eyes replaced by a sharp glare as she shoved his phone back towards him. “please leave before we call for security,” she threatened, but she didn't need to go alerting anyone for help because the store's staff themselves had caught on to the tension between the idols and the disrespectful “fan”, and were heading towards the entrance of the store where a security guard stood at the ready. noticing this, the man's facial expression turned into one of frustration before he ultimately turned around and quickly left the store. with him finally gone, sana let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding.

“are you alright, shatang?” jina asked with evident concern in her voice, stepping out from behind sana to face her with furrowed eyebrows. “i should be asking you that, jiji,” sana said with a slight whine in her voice, subconsciously pouting as she looked at jina. “he was being so creepy and that clearly made you uncomfortable. and his phone, he was recording...that was just unacceptable.” jina couldn't help the smile that pulled at the corners of her lips as she stepped forward and hugged sana. “thank you,” she murmured. “for protecting me.”

“of course,” sana sighed into jina's shoulder. “i'm never gonna let anyone harm you in any way.”

needless to say, sana became even more attentive towards jina throughout the rest of their time at the mall, holding her hand and keeping her close at all times.

As voted by you, readers, in a previous poll of mine, you can request stories based on genres, settings, but you can also throw a prompt into the mix.

HOW DOES THAT WORK?

You send me an ask with a genre and/or setting and a certain idol in mind, but you can add a prompt from these lists as well (they might help with certain settings):
