𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 ✯ listen, I know this dirtbag had probably a whopping four minutes of screen time in Gone Girl but it's Boyd and I love a good scruffy Boyd character. I'm weak for greasy men, sue me (please don't I would never financially recover).
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 ✯ smut (minors, do not interact), vaginal sex, slight overstimulation, mentions of jail, alcohol, and cigarettes, pet names (princess, honey, girl), Jeff is lowkey super manipulative and kind of gaslight-y lmao (please understand that this is fiction and I do not condone that kind of behavior in real life), sliiiight mentions of pregnancy lmao, that's all I can think of! let me know if I need to add more!

Absentmindedly you watched your neighbor Darlene's television. With a thin layer of static warping the picture, you were hardly motivated to follow the plot of the true crime show that played out. So when Darlene spoke from her place on the other side of her couch, it caught your attention quickly.
“You hear Jeff's back in town?” she asked thickly as she took a puff from her cigarette.
Though she was hardly one for pulling your leg, you held your breath and answered wearily, "You're joking, right?"
Tumblr media
Darlene simply laughed snidely before answering, "Folks are already sayin' he got let out on good behavior."
"Bullshit," you spoke through your teeth.
"Amen, sister." Then she added with a nod in your direction, "What the hell are you gonna do when he comes sniffin' around again?"
"He should know better than that by now."
"But he doesn't. He's a fuckin' idiot. You should know that better by now," Darlene shot you a look that was meant to be patronizing.
You rolled your eyes and insisted, "He ain't gettin' any more of my time than he's already gotten. If he knows what's good for him, he'll give it up."
"We're talking about the man who robbed the same liquor store three times? Same motherfucker, right?"
You snorted, "I never said he's the sharpest tool in the shed..."
"That's a fuckin' understatement. Honey, the Lord poured his brains in with a teaspoon and somebody joggled his arm."
Now that made you double over with laughter. But obviously Darlene didn't find her joke nearly as funny as you did. Because once you recovered, getting out the last of your wheezes and catching your breath, she moved her cigarette from one hand to the other and laid the free one over your knee.
Her touch was firm, the seriousness of the situation saturating her tone. She knew better than anyone in the park how Jeff had stomped on your soul over and over again. She'd been there for the sleepless nights when your entire being was wracked with sobs and shakes over him. He wouldn't talk to you. He cheated again. He ran off. Going to jail for petty theft was your last straw.
You were only a handful of months removed from the day you vowed to Darlene that you weren't calling or sending him letters anymore. And she knew just as well as you that it was for your own good that you didn't underestimate his gravitational pull.
"Don't let him in, honey," she spoke softly. "He's just gonna to break your heart again."
With the smoke from her cigarette wafting above your heads and your eyes already starting to water, you blinked quickly and nodded even faster. Darlene removed her hand and went back to staring at the television screen. You tried your best to shake her words off, to forget that weary look in her eye that said she didn't quite believe your conviction.
So you cleared your throat and fiddled with your fingers before awkwardly declaring, "You should get Travis to straighten out your antennae. Can hardly see that John Walsh through the static." And you zoned out as Darlene grumbled about how she'd asked that husband of hers to fix it ages ago.
You tried not to give a shit about what Darlene thought about you or Jeff. He wasn't good, no. But she didn't know him like you did. Nobody did. Not even Jeff himself.
Tumblr media
It was three days after that when Jeff showed up. And you tried to ignore it, you really did. The second you peeked out your kitchen window and caught a glimpse of his beat up Ford pickup pulling into your driveway you rushed around the trailer drawing the curtains quickly before sitting cross legged on your couch and lowering the volume on your television.
Your hand shook around the remote. He'd pound on the door and you'd chew on the inside of your cheek just hoping he'd take the goddamn hint.
"C'mon, darlin'. I know you're in there. Keith told me you had today off," came his voice calling from the other side of your trailer door. You couldn't ignore that. He would never let you ignore it.
Throwing the remote aside, you stormed towards the door and opened it. As soon as he was presented with an entrance, Jeff was eager to use it, forcing his way in and attaching his lips to your neck.
For a split second you leaned into it and let him get the chance to really sink his teeth in. And fuck, it felt fantastic to have him near you again. It was the painful burn of moonshine and the comforting warmth that flooded your chest afterwards. And you had to quit before he got the chance to destroy you again.
You pushed him away, glad that the first sound he heard from you is one of disgust instead of a moan.
Jeff chuckled lowly, "Well, nice to see you too, princess."
You returned the once over that he gave you. You didn't even know what you were searching for. He'd hardly changed. The smell of cigarette smoke on him was only slightly masked by cheap soap and a bit of his musk. And that damn sleeveless denim button-up exposed a little too much of his chest for your liking. Not only that but it showed off his broad shoulders and toned arms. They're marked with tattoos that you'd once memorized the lines of. The sight of them now made your throat ache with some sort of nostalgia.
"What are you doing here?" you managed to ask.
Jeff stared back at you with a strange expression. "To see you. Why else would I be here?" Then, with open arms he added, "I'm home. Ain't that good enough?"
You shook your head and scoffed, "No, absolutely not. This isn't your home–"
"Since when did you kick me out?"
"Since you got yourself thrown in jail, Jeff. Since I stopped talking to you. Since right now, where I'm telling you that we aren't together anymore."
To your surprise, Jeff merely clicked his tongue and shook his head before looking back up at you with those baby blue eyes that were always primed to get exactly what they wanted out of you. "You know, you've always been good at workin' yourself up over nothin'. Somethin' tells me you're just confused. And once I get you back in that bedroom, I'll straighten you out. How's that sound?"
You wanted to be angry. Hell, you wanted to scream and pound on his chest until he finally got the message that you didn't need him anymore. Darlene's concern surfaced in your mind. But the growing hum between your legs was louder than any sort of rationality that Darlene could've inspired within you. And bigger than that...his words hit harder than you thought they would and he knew it.
He smiles slyly before encroaching your personal space again. "C'mon, princess, tell me you want me back. Tell me I'm forgiven. And I'll take care of you again, just like I always do," his breath is warm against your lips and his grip on your hips steady like an anchor. He keeps you from swaying too much. Because you feel like you could faint at the promise of intimacy with him again.
You missed it. You weren't afraid to admit it to yourself. You missed him.
You missed sharing cigarettes in the bed of his truck as you both stared up at the stars. You missed him stealing kisses (and other, more devious touches) when your manager wasn't looking as you waited tables. You missed waking up in the morning. The momentary panic as you'd feel around for him behind you. Then the flood of relief when you'd feel his solid body; when you'd feel him stir and pull you back into his arms. As much as you hated the sound of it, you missed feeling like you belonged with him. You missed that unwarranted pride that used to swell in your chest knowing that no matter how much trouble he'd get himself into, he'd always come crawling back home to you.
That was the thing that made you fold. The thought that made you kiss him softly and murmur, "I forgive you."
Tumblr media
It didn't stay soft; things rarely did when they involved Jeff. His fingers dug into your thighs greedily but made their way to your backside as you straddled him. It was so easy to fall into the pattern you'd once had with him. Whether it was in his truck, the back alley of a bar, the bathroom at your work, or the bedroom you'd once shared with him, Jeff was always the same. Always equal parts cocky but needy.
He'd keep you firmly in place on your lap and roll his hips, sending a shock wave directly to your core that made you squirm for more friction.
"You gettin' frustrated already, girl? You can't be patient for me?"
Then the next breath he'd take was closer to a gasp as you nipped and licked at his Adam's apple. The taste of his skin was lace with the salt of sweat and the burn of bourbon with none of the sweetness. Maybe that's what you liked most about being with him. He was infuriating, yes. But he was straight forward. He didn't try to hide all of his awfulness from you. And part of you wondered if he only allowed you to see it because you accepted it.
Either way, it was worth it. It was worth the heartbreak to hear the sound of him groaning while you worked him up.
"Says the man who jumped my bones the second he got home," you giggled.
"What can I say? I missed ya'."
"I think you missed something in particular about me more than anything else," you eyed him teasingly.
Adorned with that southern charm, he reproached you, "Oh, princess. I missed all of you. Missed those eyes, that smile..." he trailed off with a suggestive look, " how those pretty lips–"
You smacked his shoulder before he could finish the thought.
Jeff only laughed then continued, "But, yes, if you're really dyin' to hear it. I think I missed that pussy of yours terribly. Missed stretchin' it out and hearin' you scream. Missed makin' it all wet. I think she was prettiest like that. All puffy and beggin' to be filled."
Every word fell from his lips low and slow like honey. And it only served to glue up your insides and make your head heavy with the weight over overwhelming arousal.
"Aww," Jeff pulled back your bottom lip lamely with his thumb before letting it snap back in place; just another sign of how thoroughly you were wrapped around his finger. "Look at how worked up my girl is. So dumb and she hasn't even been fucked yet. You're adorable, princess. How about we get you out of those clothes, hm?"
You nodded quickly. Jeff tapped your ass and you were on your feet, working to shed your too tight jeans and the shirt that was rubbing uncomfortably at your hardened nipples. It wasn't a graceful display, but Jeff wasn't making an effort either as he leaned back slightly and unbuckled his belt before swiftly pulling himself out.
You'd forgotten how enticing his cock was to look at. He wasn't the biggest or the thickest you'd ever seen, but that didn't matter. What made sparks erupt inside of you was that slight curve. You knew just how that groove felt when it was inside of you and nothing excited you more than when you were back on his lap.
Taking a hold of his length, you slowed when Jeff hissed sharply. "Gotta be gentle on me now, alright? Been almost a year since I've had you and I'm not bustin' a load before I can make you come, you hear me?"
Once again, you nodded. And Jeff smirked, pleased at your compliance.
Lining him up and lowering down, you both breathed in deeply once you were slotted together again. Judging by the way he squeezed his eyes shut and gripped your thighs, you knew he was right at home buried inside you again.
With a sob at the edge of his tone and his forehead pressed against yours, he whispered, "Fuck, I missed you so much, honey." It was so soft that you doubted he'd repeat the admission.
And you figured right. Not even seconds after you got the feeling that he was simply enjoying your presence, Jeff was moving your hips, slightly thrusting into you. You matched his pace, bouncing on the balls of your feet and grabbing his shoulders for support on the lumpy mattress.
That mattress had been witness to many fucks. But this one was probably your favorite of them all with the way Jeff was breathing deeply and pressing the occasional messy kiss to your swollen lips. And before too long, Jeff took over almost entirely as he quickened the pace.
"Thought you wanted to go slow?" you whimpered. "I'm not quite there yet, Jeff, I–"
"Then hurry up, I'm gettin' close." Nearly out of breath, he moaned, "Fuuuuck, I need it. I need to come inside you, princess. Need to fill you up. Need you to be mine."
This was a side of him you'd only seen a few times before. The sloppiness of his ruts and his solid hold on your body; he was desperate. And he only ever got like that when he was worried he was losing you. He'd fuck you like it was the last time he'd be able to. Like he was dedicating every last sensation from your smell to your sound to your touch to his mind.
As much as it worried you, you were adamant to reach your own high. You reached down and began to quickly circle your clit with a deft hand. All those nights without him...you'd gotten real good at getting yourself to the edge on your own.
"That's it, baby, touch yourself for me. Make a mess on me," Jeff begged.
At this point, he was thrusting so deep that the curve of his cock was brushing right at the sensitive, spongy bit deep inside of you. The place that made you throw your head back with a strangled cry as the invisible electricity of your climax overpowered your being. Jeff followed soon after, his spend painting your walls as they fluttered weakly. With a few more weak ruts as he was emptying out the last of himself inside, you were whimpering from the overstimulation.
But Jeff had never been merciful. "C'mon, baby, you can take it. I've got ya," he mumbled. When you pressed your face into his shoulder, he held you by the nape of your neck and kept you in place until he was satisfied.
After he finally let you go, you rose on shaky legs to retreat to your bathroom for cleanup. But you lose yourself looking in the mirror. You caught the thin sheen of sweat covering your skin and the goosebumps that were now erupting over it in the cool bathroom. You were a tangled up mess. And all you had to show for it was messy hair, the remnants of your mascara smeared under your eyes, and a dull soreness between your legs. He'd fucked you so well that if he went back to jail the next day, you were sure you'd be satiated until the next time he came back. You tried not to linger on the thought for too long.
You flicked off the bathroom light and padded back into the bedroom where Jeff laid, arms folded behind his head lazily on his pillow. Settling down beside him carefully, Jeff was quick to pull you towards him. For a few seconds there was quiet. Just the sound of crickets and country music playing faintly from a radio from some other trailer.
"You're still mine, right?" he asked out of nowhere.
Your body and your mind spent, you were exhausted. Your eyelids threatened to give up on you any second. And you barely heard what he'd said. But this configuration was familiar enough that you let out a weak hum before nuzzling closer into his side, figuring it was a satisfactory response.
You'd never know if it was though. Because the last piece of Jeff you'd get before falling asleep was the feeling of his lips leaving a chaste kiss on your forehead.
Tumblr media
Nearly two months went by. You hadn't heard from him. Because of course you hadn't. You'd simply woken up the morning after he came back home, felt around the bed behind you for a few seconds only to be met with nothing. The sheets on his side were still warm. Like he'd slipped away just for a second. But for all you knew he was halfway across the country with a different woman of the hour, dreaming up new methods to rob tourists. Frankly, you didn't care.
There were no tears left for you to shed. Just that thunderous guilt that made you feel so stupid for falling for his bullshit all over again. But you couldn't even chastise yourself for the lapse in judgment for too long. There was something far more pressing on your mind.
Your period was late. And it was almost comical. You weren't stupid. You didn't need to waste the money on a pregnancy test. You could put two and two together yourself. Unfortunately, two and two added up to a pregnancy you were already attempting to ignore.
However, it wouldn't let you. Every single night you laid a hand over your stomach as if it were old enough to kick. If you were quiet and still enough, you could convince yourself that you felt it thrumming with life as it floated in amniotic fluid. It had only existed for a few weeks and already it was taking on the dread-inducing nagging of its father.
It scared the shit out of you; scared you more than Jeff ever had. But it was in the darkness of the night when you felt Jeff's absence most that you heard the call of the void. You envisioned a future with this baby where neither of you had to be afraid of him.
Instead, there were summer barbecues at the trailer park, you and Darlene sipping cold ones while your baby played in the grass. There were trips to the laundromat down the street, you holding your baby up so they could count out the change to put in the machine. There were tearful first days of school and homework scattered on your coffee table. You'd work late some nights and you wouldn't always be able to afford the newest toys and clothes. But you'd do your best. And you'd love them.
You'd love them the way that Jeff could never love anything. You'd do it all on your own if you had to. So, as you stood on the edge of the cliff, you decided you'd take the plunge.

It had been months since Miles had spoken to you. His parents were concerned. They kept asking where you were, Miles would just sigh and say you had been busy.
I mean it wasn't his fault, he just didn't feel the same way you felt. Why was he being punished for that, for liking Gwen instead of you? Granted, he could’ve been a little nicer in his delivery. Who was he kidding, he could’ve been a hell of a lot nicer, but it was too far gone to change it now.
You just wouldn't get it. You have been his best friend since infancy. With you everything felt familiar, safe even. But with Gwen, he felt alive. Why was that so wrong, why wasn’t he allowed to be happy with who he wanted to be with?
He continued living his life as usual as he could make it. Still saving New York, still being Spiderman, still being Miles, just as life would be if he never met you. The ordinary.
Something that wasn't ordinary, was Gwen visiting. His dads party was happening, and even though he had just gotten into a big fight with his parents, he still wanted to go up and introduce her.
-
It didnt take long for Mrs.Morales to hate Gwen. Rio was furious, I mean the girl had the nerve to call her by her first name! You would never do that. Plus this girl looked old enough to vote.
This was not someone Miles should be hanging out with, especially over you.
So Rio took it upon herself to invite you. She hadn't seen you in a long time anyway, so she missed “the daughter she never had”. Knowing Miles would have to see you and eventually fix whatever happened between the two of you was just a bonus.
When you walked through the door to the roof a little while after she sent you that text, Rio squealed with delight.
“Jeff, papi mira! It’s Y/n” she saw a gift in your hand, something Gwen did not bring. “Ah! Y/n Mija! ¡Es muy bueno verte! Cómo está?” “Good Mrs.Morales, thank you for asking. How have you been? Sorry for not visiting, I've been busy.” “nonsense chiquita, I’m so happy you could make it, venir, venir! Come say hi! Everyone has missed you!” You gave a curt nod, preparing yourself for all the questions from the big familia and more importantly, seeing Miles.
Rio paused, seeing a tall, attractive, dark skin boy with dreads behind you, holding your hand. She looked at you with furrowed eyebrows, “Quién es ese” you pretended not to hear her, instead walking next to him behind her as she went further into the party.
After a couple of minutes of reuniting with all of the family, you saw Jeff and gave him his present. He thanked you, “Hey you know the girl Miles is with?” You looked around, still not seeing him. You shook your head no.
Jeff noticed the boy you were with was now holding your waist with one hand, standing next you. He side eyed him questionably. Jeff could’ve sworn you would only let Miles hold you like this, hating intimate acts physical touch from anyone but his son. Who was this guy who had won you over?
“Miles,” Rio paused looking at Gwen, “and uh you too I guess, Guess whos here! Come say hi! ” Rio told miles, pulling him with Gwen following over to whoever his mom wanted him to see. “Whos here mami-” He was cut off by the sight of Y/n talking to his father, and some random-, holding your waist?
He furrowed his eyebrows, who in the hell is that?
“Ay! Y/n look who!” Rio pushed her son forward so you could see him. He looked back displeased at his moms antics before turning to face you. Miles stared at you awkwardly, “Uh, hey.” You nodded at him with pursed lips.
The girl you had seen in all the drawings appeared next to him, no doubt this was girl he liked instead of you.“Uh-Hi! I'm Gwen!” She stuck her hand out, you looked at it before just nodding, causing her to drop her hand embarrassed, “Y/n”.
Rio smirked, happy you didn't like her either.
“So who are you?” Miles asked looking at the guy holding your waist, a little more aggressive in his tone than he needed to be. Miles watched as the guy raised an eyebrow mockingly at Miles. “Dre, nice to meet you”. Dre stuck his hand out, Miles to look him up and down ignoring the gesture. Dre dropped his hand, smirking lousily at Miles' expression.
Miles couldn't help but notice Dre was about an inch taller than him.
He didnt like that.
“Um, so how do you two know each other?” Gwen asked, looking between you and dre.
“I'm her boyfriend”
Miles unconsciously pulled his head into his neck, making the most aggressive stank face known to man. “Since when” he scowled, trying to hide the attitude in his voice. He wasn’t hiding it very well. Dre responded for you, “few weeks ago, why?”.
“huh” miles nodded ignoring the question, clearly annoyed. Dre kissed your shoulder, smirking harder, almost a full blown grin making its way to his face at miles expression. Miles's spider senses involuntarily made him aware of your heartbeat speeding up as you blushed, slightly giggling to yourself.
Miles had no clue why this bothered him so much. I mean he was right next to Gwen, the girl of his dreams. You being with this wannabe Luka Sabbat really shouldn't have bothered him so much. And why was your heart beating so quick from him kissing your shoulder? You didnt actually like this bum for real did you?
Feeling Miles prying eyes, you looked at him skeptically before turning to dre. “Well-uh we better get going before were late. Congrats Captain Morales,” you looked at Jeff and smiled lightly. “Um nice to meet you Gwen,” she nodded, grinning nicely. You turned to Rio “it's always nice to see you Mrs.Morales, contact me if ever need help with anything.” “Yes mija. Thank you for stopping by.” You finally turned to Miles,
“Miles”
“Y/n”
Gwen stared between the two of you confused. What was that?
-
tap! tap! tap!
You groaned at the sound coming from your window. Covering your head with her blanket trying to ignore the noise, you pretended to be asleep.
The taps soon turned to knocks causing you to groan louder “Dre hold on I heard you” you got up begrudgingly leaving the comfort of your bed to open the window.
“-oh, it's you." Opening the glass surprised, you allowed Miles in. Miles stared you up and down, taking note of the fact you were in nothing but a big tee, a big tee he had never seen before.
“Why is he coming to your room through the window?” He questioned, towering over you. “Miles what are you talking about?-”. “You thought it was Dre at your window right? No te hagas la mudo y/n. Why is he coming through your window, especially this late at night.”
“I dont see how that is any of your concern. We havent spoken in weeks and you wanna pretend you care what's going on in my life, on my time? Nah, that's not how that works.” Miles scoffed. “Whos shirt is that y/n- cause I know it's not yours.” “Its Dre’s, but that none of your business-” “What is he? Some rebound?” He laughed sardonically. “I mean there's no way you even really like the dude, you just liked me!” You scoffed, “Not everything is about you miles, this has nothing to do with you, I moved on.” he looked at you “Estás mintiendo”. “Oh yea? What makes you think that huh? Y-you think i'm so stuck on you that i can't move on from- what? Some stupid crush on you? Get over yourself Miles-” “tu latido” he whispered. “What?” “Your heartbeat y/n, I know you're lying ‘cause your heartbeat.” You looked at him blanky, hiding the shock in your face as he stepped closer to you, leaving a small gap between you two.
“I can feel it, Sé tú mi amas.”
He gently grabbed your neck, leaning down to kiss you. Your eyes widened before closing. Embracing the moment, you wrapped your arms around Miles' neck. Your mouth parted slightly, allowing him to deepen the kiss. Feeling your knees buckle, Miles took his free hand and placed it on your backside, effectively stabilizing you. He could sense you, all of you.
Your heart was beating the fastest it ever had. He could feel your chest rising and falling as you struggled to breathe through your nose. Your pheromones were at their strongest. He smirked into the kiss, loving the effect he had on you.
This is wrong. You had a boyfriend, sure only for only about a month but you did still have one. And you were cheating on him with Miles of all people. Your lips shouldn’t have fit together like puzzle pieces, chest rising and falling at the same time with your hearts beating in sync. It was natural, like you were meant for each other.
But he wasn’t yours and you weren’t his.
You knew you should stop. You should end this before it got too far, before it got to a point beyond something an apology could fix.
But if this was so wrong,
¿Por qué se sintió tan bien?
Tumblr media
You sat on your bed anxiously, zoned out at staring at the ceiling. It had been two days since the…incident.
Miles' tongue fought for dominance with yours. He guided you over to your bed, hands roaming all over you body needingly. You slightly tripped falling back onto the edge of the mattress, still kissing him passionately as he leaned over you. He stabilized himself putting his knee between your legs, placing his hands on either side of you. Your hands were woven into his curls, slightly pulling on them causing him to groan in the kiss. His tongue won, exploring your mouth as it pleased.
ring! ring! ring!
You pulled away from miles, a string of saliva visibly attaching the two of you as you moved further away. You breathed heavily as you looked at the user ID calling you.
DREBAE<3 is calling!
answer-decline
You stared at the phone wide eyed. From your expression Miles knew exactly who had called you. “no respondas eso y/n.” Miles said sternly, so close you could feel his breath tickling your neck. The way he said it seemed less like a statement and more like an ultimatum. You looked up at Miles, your chest rising and falling quickly.
“...Hello baby?” you said as you put it on speaker staring at Miles, still trying to catch your breath. Miles scoffed looking at you, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Hey mami” Miles looked at the phone in your hand with pure disgust. Who did this guy think he was giving you that nickname? Did he even speak spanish? “I need you, real bad” Dre said breathily through the phone, causing your eyes to go wider than they already were. Miles however, became very irritated. Who in the hell did this guy think he was? And why haven’t you hung up the phone yet?
Miles quickly got up, looking at you with furrowed eyebrows. It was clear who your choice was. He scoffed, walking back over to your window . To him it didn’t matter what he said you to a few months ago, that he chose someone else over you. Or the fact you had a boyfriend who had every right to call you.
It was the fact it was only you and him right now, and you didn’t choose him. He suddenly felt the feeling you must’ve experienced when he did this to you. And damn did it hurt.
Miles stared at your figure, an unreadable look in his eye. Going back through your window with one last glance at you, he shut it with a slam. “What was that baby?” Dre asked through the phone.
“uhm.. Just the wind I think.”

Little Girl Gone Part 4 (Steddie X You)
Tumblr media
Warnings: Officer Steve harrington/ Gangster Eddie munson & Doctor fem submissive Y/N, SMUT, degrading, some spanking, LOTS of dirty talk, handcuffs, slight overstimulation, after care of course.
ANGST, Jason causing problems before the meeting with his dad. Mentions of explosions and shooting. Eddie being sexily intimidating <3, Steve's dad makes a cameo and undermines the readers profession like a dick. Slight cliffhanger ending...I guess. Idk lol
Word Count: 5993
Last Chapter Here
“Last chance, sweetheart. Are you sure you want to do this?”
Your hold on Eddie’s arm tightens as you exhale out your nerves. This entire week had been rough not just on you but them as well. You were ready for it all to be over so you could just enjoy being with the new men in your life. If this is what you needed to do for that to be done so be it.
“Yeah, I’m sure.”
As you smile up at him, he leans down to kiss your lips making you laugh as you quickly wipe away the lipstick that lingered on his mouth.
Both your demeanors hardened as the door to the venue was opened and Eddie led you inside.
***
The gangster ran into the hospital room with you trailing behind, glancing at the chart that was attached to the wall as Steve stood by Chrissy’s bed side.
“What happened?!”
“Witnesses say they don’t know. Just, suddenly, her store was fire.”, the officer relayed with a sigh. “It’s all gone, Ed.”
“It says here she should be fine…physically at least.”, you add as your sad eyes shift towards the unconsciously girl in front of them.
“We-we can rebuild her store. That won’t be an issue—”
“EMS found a note pinned to her sweater.”
Steve handed him the slightly charred piece of paper that Eddie read aloud.
“No, Kiddo, this moment…this is me at my most masochistic.
Three.”
“The fuck does that even mean?”
“It’s a quote from Kill Bill. Everything but the three. I don’t know what that means.”, you answered, trying to hide the fear and worry.
Placing his hands on his hips, Eddie begins to pace.
“I really think you two should stay in my apartment until we get this resolved.”
“You and I both know I can’t do that.”, Steve murmurs as his face scrunches in thought. “And we both know she’s not because of her patients.”
A knowing smirk flashes along your features as you shrug.
“I don’t like this. I still think—”
“I know what you think, Ed, and I’m telling you no.”, the officer cut him off. “You already went and attacked him once and look what’s happening.”
“I feel weak, Steve. Like I’m letting him get away with this bullshit.”
“You’re not weak. If anything, he’s weak for reacting this way.”, you respond as you wrap your arm around his waist and in response he kisses your forehead.
“I just… I’m still going to have some of my guys watching over you two. Y/N, Gareth will be in the clinic with you and Steve, Jeff can linger out of the way so he isn’t seen.”
#########
“Jesus, ALL of Hawkins High Society is here.”, you murmur as you two enter the garish ballroom style area where extremely well-dressed people had gathered.
Eddie had taken you shopping and bought you a beautiful (expensive) red evening dress that flowed to your ankles but had a slit up to just below your hip. He had bought you some equally expensive jewelry to match except for the bracelet around your wrist.
“I know it’s not as lavish as what Tony Montana here got you but I saw it in the store and it made me think of you.”, Steve blushed as he hooked the bracelet to you and spun it around. It was a simple silver chain but in the middle was what looked like a heartbeat reading you see on ECG machines at work. “Since you, ya know, stole the other half of my heart.”
“Wow, Steve Harrington. That was smooth.”, Eddie chuckled. “Um, here. Here’s MY other half as well.”, he grinned softly as he slides one of his rings onto your finger.
“Yeah like you said before, ‘rich people trying to make themselves feel better.’.”
Eddie insisted you both should stand out so not only would people see you together and know you’re his but it would draw the eye of Mr. Carver so he’d hopefully come talk to you two. His suit matched your outfit with a red button up but every other piece on him was a crisp black that made him seem even more handsome.
While your hair was down around your shoulders, his was up and pulled back so you could see his face a bit more. Occasionally during the car ride, you would lean over and kiss his cheek just because you could making him beam over at you as he squeezed your hand.
Leading you to the bar, he ordered you both a glass of champagne making you giggle as you watch him chug it down and ask for another.
“Nervous?”
“Uh a little but not for the reason you might think. I’ve never met Steve’s parents. I’ve heard stories and of course they don’t know about us but for some reason I still want them to kind of like me.”, he playfully winces making you laugh harder.
“That’s normal, baby. You love him so you want them to like you; to approve.”
Grinning in your direction, Eddie leans down to kiss your cheek while you were taking a sip from your glass.
“What was that for?”
“I’m just so glad we met you. I wish it was under different circumstances but—”
“One bourbon, straight, please and thank you.”, Steve sighs heavily as he leans over the counter waiting for his drink. “My parents are on their bullshit tonight.”
“I’m sorry, honey.”, you whisper with a smile as he thanks the bartender again and knocks back his drink.
“Steven, I thought you were bringing everyone back something.”, a man practically whined as he came up behind him.
“I was. Dad, this is Dr. Y/N Y/L/N and—”
“Edward Munson, sir. Nice to meet you.”, Eddie greeted as he enthusiastically extended his hand for him to shake.
As the officer turns to grab the drinks and hide his smirk, you subtly bumped him with your hip.
“Hm. I’ve heard your name around town. Very prominent young man. What do you do exactly?”
“Management you could say sir.”
“And you young lady? Are you a real doctor or just one of those professor types?”
“Um, I own my own clinic and treat patients.”
“Oh yeah? Where?”
“It’s Hawkins Virtue Clinic on the lower west side.”
“Ah on the crime riddled side of town where people can’t even afford napkins from a restaurant let alone healthcare.”
Your gaze shifts to Steve who tilts his glass towards you in a cheer gesture with a little smile as he knocks back its contents.
“I guess you could say that. That’s why I don’t charge them more than they can afford.”
“How do you make money then?”
“It’s not always about money. For me, all that matters is people can live long healthy lives.”
“Not in Hawkins, honey, but it’s a cute dream. Come on, Steve, your mother is waiting.”
“I’ll see you peasants later.”, he teases as he winks and follows his father.
“Well, that was a good test run.”, you joke as you turn to face Eddie.
“Yeah, hopefully George isn’t that cynical.”
#############
“Thank you for keeping an eye on me these past few days.”, you beam at Gareth as you both walk to your car.
“Of course. It’s actually been oddly exciting. I learned that green is never really a good color especially on or IN your skin unless its vegetables, obviously.” He grins when you laugh. “I also learned that sick kids are VERY loud and nurses deal with way too much.
“They really do. I try to give them raises as much as I can to show my appreciation but it’s hard with my lack of funds.”
“I’m sure Eddie could help if you asked.”
“Oh, no. I couldn’t impose.”
Your guard paused, holding his arm out to stop you as well.
“Stay here.” Drawing his gun, he slowly walked forward towards your car, scanning the interior and around the side. Noticing a note tapped to the door handle, he carefully pulls it off and reads the contents before his wide eyes meet yours.
“Y/N RUN!”
As he starts sprinting your way, you suddenly feel heat and a strong wind that knocks you off your feet as your car explodes.
***
Eddie’s tires skid as he slams on his breaks when he arrives at your clinic. Bypassing all the fire fighters and EMS, he entered the building hunting for you.
“What happened?! Baby, are you alright?”
Silently, Steve grabbed his partner’s arm and dragged him off to the side. Digging into his pocket, he handed Eddie the note that was taped to your car.
“I'm not gonna kill you. Your job will be to tell the rest of them that death is coming for them, tonight. Two.”
“I looked it up, it’s a quote from another movie involving revenge. And I’m assuming—”
“He’s counting down.”, Eddie interrupts. “I’m going to fucking kill that son of a bitch.”
“No, hey. We have a plan, remember? Right now, she needs you.”
After coming back around the corner, Steve shoos the EMS people away as he sits beside you in your waiting area with his pencil and pad pretending to take your statement while the gangster takes a seat on your other side.
“Princess, look at me. Are you ok? Did you get hurt?”
“Uh, no. Gareth, he, um, he did though.”, you respond as your tear-filled eyes meet his. “I tried to do what I could, Eddie. H-He was badly burned. I-I-I don’t have stuff here for those kinds of burns.”
Tilting you against him, he presses your head to his chest as you sob.
“EMS said that he will most likely be ok and if you hadn’t been there he would have died. Honey, you saved him.”
“H-He saved me, Steve.”
“You’re both staying with me. No arguments.”, Eddie announced as you nodded.
“I have to go in and fill out my report—”
“Steven…”
“I know, I know. I’m probably next but there’s nothing I can do, Eddie. I have to go in and do this. Plus, I have Jeff and a station full of cops. I’ll be ok.”
############
“I’m going to go smoke a cigarette, sweetheart, ok? Don’t go far.”
You nod as you watch him reach into his pocket and pull out his pack as he disappears out on the nearby patio. Glancing at all the people around you, you suddenly feel extremely isolated completely unsure of what you should be doing.
“Don’t let them see you crumble.”, an older man chuckles as he steps closer to you. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you. I know what it’s like to walk into this sea of rich people and feel completely out of place. When my father and I moved here, we had nothing but a few pennies in our pocket but he knew how to finagle. Networked his way to his first 100K and used that to start an empire.”
“That’s amazing. My, uh, my grandparents were the same. They said personality goes a long way in any business. My grandma opened a tutoring center on the east side and helped so many underprivileged kids go on to college. My dad thought she was ridiculous. ‘You’re barely making ends meet, ma!’”, you roll your eyes.
“Ah, one of those.”, the man smiles. “I inherited my father’s company and then gave it to my son. Did your grandmother do the same?”
“Oh, no. She got sick pretty early on in her life and I moved in with them to help take care of her. It’s what actually sparked my interest in medicine. I’m a doctor and I run my own clinic, Hawkins Virtue.”
“Oh! I’ve heard of that place. You help a lot of people who are struggling.”
“I try.”, you grin, happy to meet someone who seems to genuinely find interest.
“Do you need funding? I’d love to come by and see what you do.”
Shifting your gaze, you notice Steve watching you intensely from beside his parents.
“I would like that very much. I’m Dr. Y/N Y/L/N.”, you introduce as you offer him your hand that he takes and kisses the back off.
“George. George Carver.”
***
Steve sighs as he heads out of the police station to go home. Placing the ear bud in his ear, he taped his phone to immediately call Eddie.
“What’s going on?? Are you alright?”
“Yeah, babe. I’m fine. I’m on my way now.”
“Ok, stay on the phone with me till you’re almost here.”
“Heh. I love when you get protective.”
Eddie listens to every footstep with anticipation as the officer heads towards his car.
“You’re my Paladin, babe, but I’m the Master. I can take care of you to.”
“You’re such a nerd.”, he chuckles, pausing at the sight of the note on his windshield.
Trying not to startle his boyfriend, he carefully removed it as he backed away from his car.
“Killing's got to be accepted. Murder was the only way that everybody stayed in line. You got out of line, you got whacked. Everybody knew the rules. One.”
Something suddenly whizzed passed him, shattering his driver’s side window.
“Fuck me.” As soon as he hit the ground, multiple rounds of gunfire went off around him. Steve could barely hear Eddie in his ear as he crawled behind a nearby vehicle and waited.
“STEVEN! ANSWER ME GODDAMN IT!”
“I’m ok! I’m ok!”
Pointing his gun towards the car, he fired a few rounds before it disappeared around the corner.
***
Eddie paced as you cleaned the cuts on Steve’s hand he had received from all the glass on concrete. The gangster was on edge since he had to wait for police to scope the scene and take the officer’s statement.
“Fucking asshole. Steve, I’m sorry but I can’t let this slide. Two of my friends are in the hospital and he almost killed you two.”
“No. He wants to kill us in front of you remember. This was just to toy with you and us.”
“I don’t like the casual way you said that.”, Steve teased as he pokes your nose with his free hand.
“Excuse me. Not a joke here!”
“You’re right, baby. Talking with his father won’t be enough. He crossed a line but we need to focus on this first to keep Y/N safe. After we handle that, then we can handle him.”
“I may have an idea that won’t upset his father IF we get that approval and will get your message across.”, you announce as they give you their attention.
############
“Mr. Carver.”
“Ah, Mr. Munson or should I saw Edward. We don’t want to confuse you with your father now do we?”, the man laughs light-heartedly as your gangster circles a protective arm around you. “Do you know Dr. Y/L/N here?”
“Oh, please, sir. You can call me Y/N.”, you beam trying to remain as calm as possible.
“Yes, sir. I met Y/N when she saved me from a nasty wound I got. I had heard of all the things she’s done for the community so, of course, I had to get to know her better.”, he grins as he pulls you closer.
“That ‘nasty wound’ wouldn’t have been inflicted by my son per chance?” Eddie stiffened a bit beside you as the man gave him a once over. “Yeah, I know you and Jason don’t get along but that doesn’t give you the right to invade his turf and kill his best friend.”
“If I may, Mr. Carver, is there a private place we can talk?”
“No, you may not. Whatever is going on between you and him doesn’t involve me. You two are in charge now. Handle it.”
As he starts to walk away, you reach out to grab the man’s bicep.
“Please, sir. So many innocent people have gotten hurt just in this week alone. Your son is throwing a tantrum over something he started and is upset because Eddie didn’t let it go like his father used to. Please, just listen to what he has to say. We don’t want anything in return or anything like that. Just…listen.”
Jason’s father sighs as he glances you over.
“You would even decline the generous donation I was thinking of giving to your clinic? That’s a lot of funds that could help a lot of people.”
“This will help more.”
At your sentence, he blinked and stood up straighter.
“Ok. Ok, Mr. Munson. Let’s talk.”
***
Jason exhaled as he took off his tie and laid his gun on the kitchen counter with his keys as he headed towards his living room.
“Long night?”
“Jesus Christ, dad!”, the man jumped as he clutched his chest. “You scared the shit out of me. What are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same thing. I thought you were going to the fundraiser event tonight.”
“I was busy.”
“I hope you weren’t busy with anything involving the Munson crew.”
As his father rose to his feet, Jason stood up straighter.
“I told you. That asshole killed Andrew—”
“After you broke into his girlfriend’s house and pulled a gun on him?”
“He killed Patrick and my friends!”
“AFTER you kidnapped his friend WHO IS A COP and beat him up! You stupid idiot!”, his dad growls as his son flinches. “What’s this I hear about you starting fires, blowing up cars, and doing shootings outside of a police station?! And leaving these moronic notes like this is some gangster movie!”, George shouts as he grumbles the papers he was given and tossed them his way. “This is not how we run our business, Jason.”
“Edward Munson needs to be taken out.”, he seethes.
“Edward Munson will be left alone and so will his crew. That includes Steve Harrington and Y/N Y/L/N. Do you understand me, son?”
“Are you kidding!? He just gets away with killing my friends?!”
“BE GLAD I DON’T KILL YOU! Sit down!” Jason cowers at his father’s anger as he sits on the couch. “If you weren’t my son, I’d have gotten rid of you for how sloppy you’ve been. That being said you still need to understand that there are consequences to your actions.” Looking past him, George addresses the darkness behind his son’s ear. “He’s all yours.”
Something sharp stings the gangster’s neck as his world begins to spin.
“I trust whatever you come up with, Mr. Munson, the punishment will fit the crime.”
As you and Eddie come into view, Jason’s world goes dark.
#################
“Good morning, sunshine.”, Eddie jests as Jason’s eyes flutter open. “I wouldn’t wiggle too much if I were you. The view up here is pretty great but not when you’re falling down eight stories.”
The rival gangster’s eyes finally adjust to see the other man in front of him with you and Steve on either side. He tried to move but soon realized he was bound to a chair with duct tape over his mouth, completely at your mercy as he was perched near the edge of a tall building.
“You know, I’m a fan of movies myself. The one thing my father and I could connect on was The Godfather trilogy. Did you ever see those, Jason?” The man’s only response is trying to tug at his restraints. “No? That’s ok. The third one is utter garbage but that second one. Oof…so good. There’s one line in there that always stood out to me. ‘Chiedi di me ai tuoi amici del quartiere. Ti diranno che so come ricambiare un favore.’”
Stepping forward with his hands in his pockets he continues.
“It’s Italian. ‘Ask your friends in the neighborhood about me. They'll tell you I know how to return a favor.’”
The rival gangster’s eyes widen as Eddie kneels to his level, balancing on his heels as he speaks to him again is a soft tone laced subtle venom.
“You crossed a line, Carver. If it were up to me I would have killed you and your entire enterprise after hurting Steve and threatening Y/N. After the stunts you pulled this week, I almost did. You can thank this young lady here for talking me out of it.”
Jason’s eyes flick to your angry ones before looking at the other man again.
“She also suggested we talk to your father which was a brilliant idea. He’s very levelheaded and kind of funny. Right, guys?”
“Hysterical. He thought what you did at the police station was so amusing he recommended I take you in and throw you in a cell with Allen since you miss him so much.”, Steve quipped with a smirk.
“After blowing up my car and breaking into my apartment, he thought I should use some of things I learned at medical school as a punishment. Oddly enough, castration was the first thing to came to his mind. I told him I didn’t think you had any balls to remove since you were acting like a five-year-old.”, you add making Eddie’s smile widen.
“He also suggested we make the punishment fit the crime thus you’re ours for the next week, buddy!” As the gangster lightly taps his face, Jason starts to cry. “But, Carver, I’m not going to do that. Do you know why? I’m not my father and I’m not like you. I don’t kill for pleasure and I don’t like hurting people. I want this to stop. But make no mistake…” Eddie reaches for Jason’s throat and squeezes it between his ringed fingers. “If you ever threaten or hurt these two again or even fucking think of coming on to my side of Hawkins, I will burn your side to the ground and make you regret ever being born let alone taking your father’s mantle. Am I being clear?”
Ripping away the tape his lips, the gangster squeaks as he continues to cry.
“Yes! I understand. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, Eddie.” After tapping his cheek again, Eddie turns taking your hand in his as you three head for the door to leave the roof of the building. “Hey! What about me?!”
“Oh, we’ll call the building super in the morning. Just…don’t lean back.”, Steve answers with a sarcastic thumbs up as the door closes behind him.
##################
You giggled in Eddie’s arms as he held you to him, kissing your lips with vigor as he carried you up the stairs with Steve trailing right behind.
“You…are…amazing.”, he cooed between each breath as he fell with you onto the bed.
“You really are.” Steve added as he threw himself beside you and began sucking on your neck.
Ringed fingers glided hastily up the slit in your dress, moving the silk blocking your core, and effortlessly pushed into your entrance, pumping in and out so quickly the sound of your arousal filled the room.
“Fuck, Eddie.”
“You got me so hard, sweetheart, watching the way you took control talking to George. Jesus and in that beautiful fucking dress.” Your hand floated down to cling to his as his digits inside of you moved at a relentless pace. “I had to keep telling myself to focus because all I wanted to do was push you against that wall and fuck you till you couldn’t walk straight.”
Steve gripped your chin turning you so your lips could meet his as the gangster’s head fell into the nook between your head and shoulder.
“You’re a bad girl now, baby. OUR bad girl.”
“Tr-treat me like one.”
The officer chuckled at your needy tone as you panted into his mouth.
“Yeah? You want us to show you how bad girls get treated?”
“P-Please…please. Fuck I’m gonna cum.”
“Ask nicely, Y/N.”
Leaning your head against the gangster’s, you murmured consistent pleas, begging for relief that he granted as the coil snapped and you practically screamed his name. Offering his fingers to his partner, Steve licked them clean before leaning over you so their lips could mingle together.
After digging in one of his drawers, Eddie produced some handcuffs and passed them over to Steve who took hold of your wrists restraining you to the headboard.
“These are my own set so they should feel more comfortable on your skin than his steel ones.”, Eddie grinned as he kissed your lips.
“Babe, you forgot to take off her dress.”
“Fuck, silly me.” Grabbing the slit in the fabric, he yanked it apart tearing it up the middle till it split in half and fell away. “There we go.”
“No bra, honey? Definitely bad girl behavior.”
“Eddie told me not to wear one.”, you whine as Steve’s gaze shifts his way.
“What? I like her tits. Sue me.”
While Eddie removed his suit, the officer yanked down your panties and tossed them onto the floor while he kissed your lips.
“I bet you want to suck my cock, don’t you dirty girl?”
“I do. Please.”
“I like that. Keep beginning me like that.”
Jumping back into bed, the gangster took hold of one of your legs and lifted it over his shoulder before guiding his cock into your entrance.”
“Oh my god.”
Fingers circled tightly around your neck as your eyes met Steve’s anger filled ones.
“I said beg me for my dick, little girl.”
“P-Please, Steve. I wanna—fuck, Eddie—I wanna choke on your cock. Please! I need it!”
Quickly, he unbuckled his belt and shimmied down his pants enough to free his length, allowing it to hover over your lips.
“Tap three times loudly if you need to stop, ok?”
“Yes, yes sir.”
“Oh, look at that, Eds. Little girl found her manners.”
Eddie smirked as he continued to slam his hips into yours at a rough pace, his thick fingers digging into your thigh as he used it for leverage.
Opening your mouth, you prepared for some the things they had been teaching you. Flattening your tongue you waited, mewling when he finally gave you what you were begging for. As his cock slid down your throat, his fingers tangled in your hair and you focused on the feeling as he slowly thrust his hips.
“Good…good girl. That’s it. Shit, baby. That’s it. You’re almost taking all of me.” Feeling your body tremble, Steve holds you still, allowing you choke and gag around him as you cum. “Yes! You’re ok, baby. Just a couple more seconds.”
Tapping once, you signal you need air and he immediately pulls out to pet your head, murmuring praises as Eddie slows his rhythm to almost a complete stop as he caresses your leg comfortingly.
“Good girl, honey. You did so fucking good. It took all my energy not to cum to but I want to cum inside your tight pussy, pretty girl. So beautiful. What color are we at, Y/N?”
“Green, baby. Green.”
At the word, the gangster lifts your other leg, pushing them together as he slowly thrusts his cock deep inside you.
As your eyes roll back and you moan, Steve kisses away your tears before murmuring against your lips, Do you still want my dick, baby girl? Do you want me to fuck your pretty little throat? Feel us both deep inside you. I wonder if I can feel myself here.”, he coos as he gently places his hand on your neck. “I know I can feel Eddie fucking you so good. Right, honey?”
His large palm trails down your skin till you feel him press on your lower belly making you whimper louder as your back arches and you tug on your restraints.
“Yeah, he’s right here, nice and deep.”
Eddie grunts as his pace hastens, his partners words amping him up as Steve smiles. Lifting up on his knees once more, the officer holds his tip just above your lips, chuckling as your tongue needily reaches for him.
“Don’t forget what we talked about. Tap if you need to breathe or stop, baby. I’m gonna fuck your throat hard, ok?”
“Y-Yes. Please—fuck—please.”
Sliding his dick into your mouth, your eyes squeezed shut as he did what he said, constantly hitting the back of your throat over and over as the obscene sound of you gagging and drooling filled their ears. Both men became almost feral at the noise, Eddie shaking the bed as he pounded into you and Steve tugging harshly on your hair while mumbling under his breath.
“That’s it, little girl. Jesus. Your mouth feels so fucking good. Atta girl. Choke on my cock, you dirty little whore making a fucking mess. Mmm!”
Your legs abruptly hit the mattress as Eddie fell on top of you, wrapping his arms around your back as he rolled his hips into yours. The officer pulled back, stroking himself with his hand as he watched you both cum together. The gangster laid still trying to catch his breath as Steve reached down to play his hair.
“Fuck me. This pussy is too good.”, Eddie groaned as he sat up and lightly spanked your behind. “I’m glad it’s ours.”
After pulling out of you, both men shared a passionate filled kiss as they switched places, Steve wiggling underneath you so your back was on his chest. While the officer ran his palms over your breasts and along your sides, Eddie took hold of his partners cock, spitting over the tip before running it between your folds, teasing you both as it grazed your clit.
“Please.”, you whine.
Smirking, he did what you asked as the two of you groaned. Steve’s hands gripped your thighs, holding your legs open as he planted his feet into the mattress and thrust up into you.
“Fuck.”
“God, sweetheart, I wish you could see you both from my angle.”, the gangster moaned as he watched his boyfriend’s cock disappear inside you as he stretched you open. “Fuck me. Stevie didn’t even have the patience to take off the rest of his clothes.”, he chuckles, faltering the man’s rhythm as Eddie tugs his pants that had been pooled at his ankles the rest of the way.
Dropping your legs, one of Steve’s hands pulled your hair back as his other roughly kneaded your breast.
“Move your hips.”, he growled as you mewled, trying your best to bounce and roll your waist. “Harder, little girl. Make yourself cum again.” He continued to grumble with a rough tone in your ear, commanding you to move faster repeatedly while smacking your tits with his palm. Screaming his name, you stopped moving as your body shook against him and you pulled hard on the cuffs above you. “Atta girl. Fuck, I can feel your pussy quivering around me. You’re gonna give me one more and I’m gonna cum with you.”
“I…I can’t.”
“Color, princess?”, Eddie whispers as he presses his nose to your cheek.
“Green.”, you mumble as the tears stream down your face.
“Yeah? Fuck you look so beautiful like this with your make up running down like this. Fuck, baby. You can do it. You can give us one more.”
Steve starts moving again with purpose knowing he won’t last long and you most likely will spent after this. After licking his fingers, the long-haired man places them on your clit, rubbing circles into your nub as your sweaty head leans back while the other man clings to your waist.
“There you go, Y/N. Come on, baby! One more. You can do it!”, Eddie encourages, both men moving so fast you don’t even realize it’s coming till your orgasm hits you like a freight train. “Good girl! Good fucking girl.”
Circling his arms around you, Steve’s pace becomes sloppy till you feel him warm your insides as he grunts in your ear.
“Please…please…no…no more. I can’t.”
“No, sweetheart. You did so good. I’m going to uncuff you ok?” You nod as the gangster releases you from your binds and you wince at your sore muscles as you slowly bring your arms down. Steve carefully turns you both onto your side before pulling out of you, mumbling soft apologies as he tries not to hurt you. “Whenever you’re ready, we’re going to take a bath, ok? It will feel good on your body.”
After a few minutes of them smiling tenderly at you as they caressed and kissed parts of your skin, you signaled you were ready and Eddie lifted you into his arms as Steve ran the water. Doing what had become the norm, the gangster lit a cigarette as he sat behind you on the edge of the tub with his feet in the water as he began to clean you. What was new was when the officer pulled a wet wipe from a bag and kneeled beside you to clean your face.
“What’s that?”
“Oh, um, makeup remover. I bought it a while ago before all the bullshit happened for when you spend the night with us. Chrissy said this was a good brand for girl’s skin but if you have another just let me know.” It took him a moment to realize you two were staring at him with small smiles on your lips. “What? Hey, I’m a nice guy!”
“Yes, you are, pretty boy.”, Eddie coos sassily as he leans over to give him a peck as the man rolls his eyes.
“Thank you. You didn’t have to do that.”
His eyes remain downcast as he throws it away and places the bag on the counter.
“I know I don’t have to. I want to. WE want to…want you to be comfortable…and happy. Are you? Happy I mean.”
Tilting his chin, you kiss his lips as well making his smile grow.
“I am happy. Thank you for everything. It means a lot to me.”
Eddie’s already prepared when you lean your head back to kiss his lips as well making you giggle when he lingers making a loud mwah sound.
“Just because we settled the stuff with Jason doesn’t mean I’m out of danger does it?”
Both men freeze in place as they blink before Steve climbs into the bath in front of you and Eddie slides in behind you.
“No, it doesn’t. There’s always going to be people that want to challenge me and just because we scared Carver doesn’t mean he won’t fuck up again.”
“And like I told you before, now that people know you’re with Eddie, it may cause some ears to perk up with the police which may put more eyes on you than you’re used to.”
“But, sweetheart, we promise you we will do everything we can to keep you safe. I’d hurt or kill to protect you just like with Steve.”
“And, honey, I would hide evidence or lie to anyone in the department to protect you. Not just from people but any kind of jail time.”
“You’re ours, Y/N, and we will take care of you no matter what.”
You can feel their eyes penetrate you as your own remain off to the side as you absorb what they are saying.
Gently, fingers grip your chin, turning you to meet Steve’s soft honey hues.
“You can still leave if you want to. We can come up with a story to explain the party if you still want to have some…semblance of normalcy.”
“Whoa. Steve Harrington is breaking out the big words.”
You laughed at Eddie’s joke as the officer narrowed his eyes in playful annoyance.
“I don’t want to leave. I…”
You want to say it so bad. You want to tell them that you love them. But it’s only been a couple of months and they’ve been together for almost a year. No. You don’t want to scare them away after everything they just did to keep you safe. No…
“I…I trust you both.”
When you flash them a smile both men grin back as Eddie hugs you against his chest and Steve kisses your forehead.

All too well. (Miles morales x reader)
Weather Miles knew it or not he was stabbing her right in the heart every time he made their relationship seem under wraps.
In front of everyone he refused to call their relationship what it was. Love. Not a childish relationship, at least not to Y/n.
Rio could see something was going on between the two. There wasn’t a day where she hadn’t dreamt of seeing Y/n in a wedding dress besides Miles, she was all too prefect. Y/n was practically the daughter she never had.
So Miles kept her close to his heart and he always got Y/n to return back into his arms but every time she did she felt shame, and he would just hold her lifeless frame. Their relationship was crowded, Gwen was stuck in the picture and the teenage boy was stuck between the two. He couldn’t imagine a life without either of them. Gwen gave him thrill and Y/n gave him comfort.
Both girls were spider-women except…Gwen wasn’t in their universe. She was gone and it had been months. Y/n remembered it all too well.
When arguments happened salty tears would fall from the two of them once they wrapped arms around each other, Miles breathed in her sweet candy scent wishing for it to smell like another. While y/n let tears fall knowing Miles imagined someone else with him. She didn’t trust herself, her body would always lead her back to the wrong things, him.
However…the patience of Y/n didn’t last longer. The night before everything went downhill they got into an argument…
It all started when we had came home from keeping watch on the city. Tonight wasn’t the best night, Miles was so distant and he refused to speak to me.
He spoke about me indirectly, I heard it.
“you’re just so irritable….”
I couldn’t ignore it, not this time. His frustration lighted a bottling flame waiting to ignite..
“I won’t ever understand you! You won’t even speak to me directly?! What am I supposed to do with that?!”
He turned around quickly, spoke irrational. Though I knew in some way or another he meant every word he said.
“If you were Gwen maybe I would’ve been just fine?!”
Hearing him say that made me want to die. Confirming something I denied for the longest. There was shuffling in my feet stepping backwards, my heart beginning to feel intense agony and the tears slipping from my eyes.
Miles couldn’t exactly see my face with my mask, but he knew what he had said cut deep.
“…we’re done.”
His hand reached out for me but all I could do was push him away. I fled immediately after, knocking into almost every building. My vision was disoriented since my eyes were flooding with tears.
That night I went to bed listening to my parents arguing in the living room, doing the same thing Miles and I had just done. Maybe it was for the better…maybe if I stayed I would’ve repeated the never ending cycle….
‘All’s wells, that ends well’ but Y/n was in a new hell every time he double crossed her mind. It goes without saying that the next day Y/n dreaded having to go to Jeff’s promotion party, but she would anyways because they were there for her big moments too…
My eyes felt swollen from the rough night and I couldn’t stop thinking about it all. Picking between the clothes and getting myself out of bed was difficult, this breakup felt final.
I took everything step by step and I took a deep breath walking into the party.
“Y/n! Hija you made it, I was getting worried!”
Rio rushed in giving me her nurturing love and all that hit was the fact that this will never happen as much. I wouldn’t allow myself to come over any more after this, not when I know I’d go back to him.
“Hi Mrs.Morales! Hi Mr.Morales-“
“Rio let Y/n breathe!…Cmon give me a hug kid!”
I did return that hug but all I could do was take the emotions in..
“Congratulations sir!”
once we were done with our greetings they turned my body quickly to the skylines of the city
“Isn’t it beautiful!…haha yea.”
The way Jeff had spoke sounded quick and awkward, he rushed my body to turn so fast.
“oh yea it is..”
Rio couldn’t just stand there and act like she didn’t see Y/n hurt regardless if she didn’t see the scene Jeff hid her from, she wanted to protect her but she wouldn’t lie to Y/n either.
“Oh princesa, lo siento.”
Confusión covered my face but inside hearing just that but not knowing why, I was so close to breaking down.
“What do you mean?”
Jeff looked to Rio with pleading eyes begging her to stop and Rio had a sense of genuine and a need to not hide something.
“Miles is with that girl Gwenda, I can’t lie to you Y/n. You’re just too sweet for me to lie. Just know that no matter how or why your relationship ended, no es por ti.”
My swollen eyes wanted to cry once more, I turned my body to the crime scene. He did talk to her the entire time in the beginning of our relationship…maybe did even worse. She came back now, and Miles was the one who ran to her the second we called it quits.
I knew based off the smile on his face, he’d never feel sorry for the way I hurt. He was showing her off just by simply bringing her and pulling her close…
The entire time Y/n was staring Jeff couldn’t believe his eyes, everything Rio had rambled about them being together and Y/n being in love, Miles loving her back but out of nowhere it only ever became halfway. It hurt seeing the pain that struck her eyes.
Jeff gave Y/n the biggest hug..
“If you want Y/n..you can pick out your food, eat and take a good nap on our couch before you head home.”
A small tear feel from Y/n’s eyes, all she could do was nod and walk away…
I’ve never doubted myself so much, I hate that I gave Miles power over that kind of stuff. At some point in our relationship it was always one step forward and three steps back.
Once I made it back down to their apartment I couldn’t nap, my body wouldn’t allow it. Something was telling me to go. So I did.
I closed the window and leaped onto building from building , trusting my body to lead me in the right direction. When I arrived there was a damaged building and a portal..no one was there and it hadn’t closed yet, so I jumped in..
!💓!
guys. please tell me yk the references.

Tumblr media
The preparation for new year's is going so well
So well, that you haven't realized how tired you really are
You're so productive that you've used too much of energy on yourself for working to prepare for the party
You wanted this to be perfect
You want everything to be settled in according to your plan
Eddie knows that you're always so "serious" when it comes to decoration and especially when there's an occasion
He loves you for it though, you just don't throw parties
You throw the greatest parties all the time and you never missed
All of your friends are in there, Steve, Robin, Jonathan, Nancy, Argyle and the freaking kids that you always adored so much
You looked around at everyone in the room
Jeff and Gareth are bantering at each other with some album, Dustin and Lucas fight over which 80's fantasy film is the best, Steve, Robin and Eddie surprisingly getting along with the same pop music artist, you could see the three of them geeking at each other
Max and Jane do makeover at each other which aches your heart of seeing them so close to each other, it's really so sweet to have a real girl bestfriend like that
"I'm gonna refill your glass" Nancy pasts over to you snatching the glass on your hand so swiftly that it makes you snap out of your head
You slowly trying to register what just happened and you smile finally
"More wine? really?" You say as you watch her fill your glass with wine
"Uh, yeah?" she replies with a dramatical jerk to her head as you chuckle
"But it's only 9pm!" you exclaim with wide eyes but a fond smile on your lips
"are you saying that we should only be drinking when the clock finally strikes 12?!?" she says while she fills her cup, she takes glances at you and back to her glass
"Ah- yes, that! exactly!" you point to her using your index finger as you holding your glass of wine
You could already feel yourself getting drowsy a little bit from the wine
Red wine will always make you feel sleepy
You don't even know if it's the alcohol or you just really need to doze off for a minute before you could scream at the top of your lungs for 2024
You don't even know how many glasses that you already take
"Did we just finished the whole bottle?" You feel the world is spinning on you
Nancy, your bestfriend- raises the bottle in front of you as she snorts at your disapproval look
"Kinda?" she says slurring as she smirks at you
"What do you mean? Kinda?!"
"Hey- woah!"
Jonathan passes by and bless him for his instincts because Nancy would've been knocked her head on the counter as she starts stumbling from her stance, he catches her on time
Nancy giggled as you rolled your eyes in annoyance, massaging your forehead
He saw the look from your face as he chuckles
"She got too far again, huh?"
"Yeah, she always does, Jonathan, nothing's new" you reply as you also can't walk properly
"Wait- don't move- should I call-"
Before Jonathan can finish his words, the voice of your boyfriend booms out of nowhere while Argyle tails behind him, looking at you and Nancy
"Sweetheart- how you've-"
Eddie clocked the wine bottle from Nancy hand
"Did you dr-"
"Don't even try it, Ed's" you placed your palm over his mouth as you stumble forward, he immediately wraps his arms around you as you started pressing all of your weight against his chest making the male laugh as he gently hold the back of your head
"Y'all getting drunk already? It's not even 12am yet" Argyle with his iconic tone, you seriously have no idea which one of his voice is normal
You've never heard him talk in normal voice before so you're used to him having that voice that sounds so freaking high as fuck
But, he's a good bud tho, so hilarious
"Blame her, not me! Eddie tell them!" You defend yourself as you put your chin onto his chest as you look at him with a pout on your lips, he smiles as he ruffles his face against yours making your face scrunch up from his action, he laughs again
"What's with all of the commotion?" Steve arrives with hands on his hips
"The two got their selves drunk again" Jonathan points to you and to his girl
"As if that's new" Robin appears in the corner with her arms crossed leaning against the side of the wall
Steve chortles "Wait- you got hustled by Nancy again?"
You groaned from Steve's teasing "yeah, I always fail to see that, thanks" you say
"I told you, you shouldn't brought the wine here, you moron!" Robin uncrosses her arms finally figuring out where the wine misplaced her eyes widen when she saw Nancy holding it, she snatches it making her bite a laugh as Jonathan also connecting the dots at the scene
He pressed his lips together to not burst from laughter
Argyle watches both of his friends having a fit of unnecessary argument
"I think I need to grab a popcorn for this" he leaves abruptly as he looked at your kitchen cabinets and came back munching in a bag of popcorn, very entertained at the scene
"I-I don't know how she got it!"
"Did you hide it properly!?"
"Look- Robs-"
Robin clicks her tongue as she asks "Nancy, how did you get the wine bottle?!"
She turns around with a lopsided smile as Jonathan steadys her
"I just saw it hanging around but-"
"But?"
"I think Steve" she points at him as she chuckles making the boy winces as he finally remembered of what he's done
"Forgotten about it that he left it out there, soooo" she giggles again making Robin grumble as she raises both of her eyebrows at Steve
"Oh- come on!" Steve runs his fingers through his hair as he decides to turn back leaving all of you
"Hey! don't you walk out on me! I paid for that expensive shit-" Robin follows him as she starts pointing everything on him
Argyle, Jonathan, Nancy and Eddie all laughing at the scene while meanwhile you, Eddie could hear you chuckle a bit but you made a little hum
He draws back his attention at you, he looks down at you
"I think I need to doze off for a minute" you say to him with your sleepy eyes
He smiles as he kisses the top of your head he put his arms around you "Yeah, sure"
Eddie says to Jonathan and the rest that you and him will be out for a while, they all nod and said "Don't be late for the countdown"
Your boyfriend leads you to your bedroom as you throw yourself at your bed as he closes the door walking towards you, you lay behind your back as you stretch your whole body, Eddie chuckles at your tipsy behavior
"I love my bed"
"Yeah, you always do"
"Uh huh"
He snickers "Okay, honey, are you well? are you sober?" He leans down at you
"Eddie- you know the alcohol hits harder at Nancy right?"
"I'm just checking you know to see if my girl's alright" he shrugs as he put his hands inside of his pockets
"I'm very much, okay, eds- I'm sssleepy" you yawn as you feel your eyes dropping until it shuts completely
He chuckles as he shakes his head he leans down as he kisses your forehead you smile at the gesture as it makes you even heavier to fall asleep
Eddie watches you sleep as he stands over at the window
The neighborhood outside is quite a watch, everyone is having fun, everyone is having a blast
The music outside is dull but he can hear all of his friends laughter and the screams of excitement from them
He shifts from where he standing as he tears off his eyes from the outside of your window and goes back at you
You turned on the other side, so you're now facing him as you snuggle against your pillow
Eddie smiles to himself, he feels so good having you in his life
He walks towards you as he moves the fallen hair strand on your face
His eyes softens as he sats down beside you
You stirred up from the movement on the bed as you try to open your eyes, you smiled when you realized it's Eddie
You pulled him closer beside you as he lets you take him laying down with you
He put his other arm over you as you cuddled against his chest almost hugging him in the process
You feel more cozier and even more sleepier than before
The moment you move your leg over to his
Your skirt rise up exposing more bare skin to him, his breath hitches at the sight of it
He looks down at you, he double thinked- maybe- it's a bad idea to do this but he wants you so badly right now
He shouldn't even be thinking that you will get mad because hell-
You trust him
So.....
He starts sinking down beside you, you moved slightly as he continues to do his work
He plants hot kisses over your neck when finds your sweet spot- you hum lightly
He's now on top of you, holding your hips, he's positioning you laying on your back, your head is on the side, still sleeping peacefully
He goes over to your chest, you're wearing tube top with a zipper in front, so he has a access to your bare chest, he kisses more and more
Your body couldn't even register what's going on
You felt hot and cold all over because of the midnight's weather and from your body heating up from the tension that your boyfriend is giving you
You feel him going lower and lower but you can still feel your eyes tired
He watches your soft heaves from chest rising up and down, his eyes darkened when he puts his hand inside of your skirt, he slowly reaches at the hem of your panties
He licks his lips, your skin feels on fire because of his fingertips, your stir from your sleep once again but still not opening your eyes
He doves onto your lips, kissing you, and you hummed as you lazily kissed him back
"May I?"
You move your head onto the other side, you catch a glimpse of the clock, it says 11:20pm
"Ed's, we might get late-" even though, you want him to do it
"Please"
You're not even opening your eyes yet but you can see his pleading eyes being directed at you
"Yes, Eddie, you can have me, take it all" you sank down further making Eddie groaned when his fingers touched your center, it's drenched
He hook his fingers on your underwear along with your skirt discarded on the floor
You shudder at the cool air as Eddie positioning himself comfortably
He smears kisses on the inside of your thighs as he goes closer and closer to your core
You moved your head on the other way as you try to close your legs when you can't help but feel the arousal that's coming in
But he places his palms on the sides of your legs spreading you open as you can feel of your insides burning from his touch
His hands are everywhere, when the moment he swiped his fingers at your core, you released lewd noises as your breathing goes quicker
He licked his finger cleaning it off with his tongue, he grins down at you
He holds your hips as he leans down
"Ed-"
Before you can finish your sentence, he doves down lapping at your juices as you gasp from his sudden action
His eyes are glued to you as he continues to do his work, watching your once peaceful slumber turns into pleasure
He devours you so satisfying that it's making you close your legs, he smirks as you can feel his tongue go lower inside, you mewled
He holds you tightly as you grip on the sheets, he sucked more and more of you until your can feel your legs shake
You can feel his hand reaching on the hem of your top, you slightly open your eyes as you find the zipper as you pull it down
He grunts when he saw your breasts that he worships everyday, you loved the way he admires your body
You're now naked so divinely displayed for him
His free hand kneads your boobs as you moaned, he dives back down as he starts to bully your clit
You can feel your body tremble from the sensation forming up in your stomach
You reached for his hair as you pull it making his eyes grow hungrier and eats you like man starved for days
"Oh- Eddie-"
He carries the back your butt as his tongue digs deeper earning a squeal from you when he reaches the spot that you didn't know it existed
Your eyes are heavy-lidded, you try to watch him but you can't when your brain can't place your emotions whether is melatonin or oxytocin
you're not sure at this point but hella you feel so fucking amazing right now
He abruptly stops and when he does, you finally open your eyes
"Wha- what- don't stop!" You whine
"What about the countdown?" His lips are covered with your slick and his saliva altogether not caring a single shit that it's literally dripping down on his chin
You gasp at it as you moaned, he chuckles darkly, you know what he's doing he's teasing you
"Do you know that you're frickin' beautiful without even trying?" He goes at his usual antics as you beg for him to come back down
"Eddie, please!"
"Not until you see stars"
"What-"
Before you can utter another word, he goes back in but this time he places your legs over his shoulders another spectacular angle making you shiver from his touches yet again
He grips your legs, thighs, arms, your belly, he squeezes your boobs and it's literally fucking everywhere
One thing, you know it's for certain that you really would unashamedly come from his simple touches
He pokes his tongue down on you but when he curled it, you chant his name like a prayer, you have the ability to scream his name without being caught in action inside of the room because of the loud noises from the people and the music
Your eyes burn from the threatening tears but Eddie is not having it, he wanted you to fall apart completely for him
You moaning louder and louder when he swipes his tongue on your entrance when he puts your legs down on the bed
"You're still not seeing it, I see"
"D-Don't stop- please"
He opens your legs again as he resume to his mission, he tongue fucks you as he digs in and out, you squirm at it as he starts picking up the pace as you let out a ragged breath
Goddamn, he is killing you right now, you can already die right then and there heavenly
Your mouth falls open without noise coming out of them as you yank his hair, he growls as you couldn't believe that he could reach every spot inside of you
You arched your back as you start grinding against his face, his eyes flashes devilishly mischief as he didn't stop this time
He laps once more until you cry out his name
You jolted when the fireworks exploded booming the entire neighborhood
You come on his tongue as the same time the fireworks started
Your legs are spent, you feel boneless but a sickly smile is now sitting on your lips
He let you get back on earth for a while as he cleans you up, he dresses you up not leaving single skin left behind without his kisses
"You saw it, huh?" He grins like a devil that he is but you love him, he holds the door open for you letting you first outside
You saw all of your friends jumping on to the music and celebrated very happily
"I did" you admit ignoring the rosy tint on your cheeks "and it was much more better"
"Than?" He throws his arms around your shoulders
"The fireworks" you smile as he chuckles as he kisses the top of your head as he squeezes you to his side

They’re Gone Now (Jessie Fleming x Reader)
Tumblr media
warnings: none
a/n: based off this request here
prompt: in which after magda and p leave, jessie is struggling, the reader and millie try to help her but little do they know, you’ve liked jessie for years now.
It was near close to impossible to not like Jessie Fleming. The team, Canadian and Chelsea always joked that "if you had a problem with Jessie you had a problem with thousands of people" but you liked to just say "if you have a problem with Jeff, you just have a problem." You and Jessie had been playing together for ten years now, having both gotten your senior call up for Canada at 15. You had never played on a team that didn’t have Jessie on it since then. Canada, UCLA, Chelsea, always together. So how could you not fall in love with her?
It had been a week since Pernille and Magda had left for Munich. Watching them leave felt like death for both you and Jessie. Niahm held it together more but you could tell in how much pain she was.
"It’ll be okay," she had said. "We’re orphans," you had answered, only half joking.
And then it was two weeks later, World Cup squads had been announced and you and Jessie were set to leave London to meet the CANWNT in Vancouver in two days. Most of the Chelsea girls were still in London, and they were the ones you texted when it had been two weeks since the departure of the team moms and Jessie was still grumpy and borderline hard to be around. It was nothing like her and it broke your heart to see her like that.
You had tried everything. Cooking and baking for her, holding her as she cried, putting on her favorite movies, buying her flowers but nothing worked. You hadn’t told Magda and Pernille about Jessie’s behaviour because you didn’t want to make them feel guilty.
"Hey Elysse," you said, holding up the phone to your face. "How is she? Bring her home, y/n/n," she said, looking sad. Elysse was Jessie’s favorite person in the world, tied with you of course.
"I will. Two days and you’ll be with her. I just don’t know what to do. She’s barely getting out of bed. It’s so not like her," you said. Elysse smiled sadly at the camera. "How much have you slept, y/n?" she asked as Logan showed up in the frame. "Like… 6 hours in the past three days or something. I just can’t sleep knowing she’s not doing well," you mumbled, crashing down onto the couch.
"Tell her how you feel."
Elysse’s words caught you off guard, and for a second you thought you miss heard her. "Go again?" you asked, sitting up a little. "Tell her how you-" Elysse went to repeat her words but you cut her off quickly. "Stop that. Stop it," you said quickly before lowering your voice. "You shouldn’t even know that. No one knows. No one," you said to her in a hushed voice. "I can tell when someone likes my sister," the younger girl said. "Well- maybe I will. Whatever. I’m gonna go pack our bags,"
Elysse bid her goodbyes and then you hung up, but you were quickly on the next call. You clicked on Millie’s contact and the phone rang for about ten seconds before she answered.
"You never ever call. What’s up?" she said before another voice chipped in. "Hey Canada!" a voice said. "Canada? Which one. Small or not so?" yet another voice.
"Oh sorry, you’re busy i’ll call someone else," you said. "No! No it’s just Rachel and Leah. What’s up?" Millie asked.
You quickly gave her a recap of current events with Jessie, closing your explanation with: "I think she needs a little tough love. Like motivational speech type of shit. But a little meaner because she needs to snap out of this," you said.
Millie thought for a second before answering. "Okay. I’ll come over but I need to bring dumb and dumber," she said. "HEY!" Leah yelled in the background of the call. "No problem,"
You hung up and tried to tidy the place quickly.
You then did what you had told Elysse you would do and got out two suitcases. You packed everything you would both need considering you were going to be Down Under in the summer and it would be crazy warm. Both suitcases were half packed by the time the doorbell rang. You stood up and quickly opened the door. "Mills thank you so much, I don’t know what to do. I just- she just sits there all sad and tired and I’m so-" you started ranting until Millie wrapped you into a tight hug. "Hey, breathe. It’s okay. I’ll go see her, just, go lie down on the couch," Millie said. "I’ll make tea," Rachel said after giving you a small hug. "Do you wanna talk?" Leah asked, gesturing to the couch. "Yeah. Yeah sit down. You don’t need that weight on your leg," you said, quickly heading to the couch. "First door to the left right?" Millie asked. "Yeah," you answered as you sat down on the couch. Leah sat beside you and too say the least it was a little awkward. You had never played with her, only against, and as you both captained your country now it was a tad strange. "Thank you for being here. I know it’s weird," you said, playing with your fingers. "Hey, the rivalry can be put aside for an hour or two," she said to you kindly. "You should use your crutches," you told her. "You should join Arsenal," she snapped back with a smile. "Hey! What about the rivalry being put aside?" you fake pouted. "Sorry sorry. It’s all out now," she laughed.
There was a little silence, filled with the sound of the kettle boiling. "So… how long have you liked her for?" she said.
"Jesus. Everyone’s asking me that. I- I don’t. I mean it’s-" you started saying. "Hey. I’ve been there. The childhood best friend who your biggest fear is too loose but you just can’t help having feelings for. That’s like- my life story. We’re the same, you know. We’re very similar. Fleming is your Nobbs," she said to you kindly. "Yeah, I noticed it too y/l/n. Mostly because in every single interview of you and her you’re giving her fuck me eyes. And the hand placement doesn’t go unnoticed by the way," Rachel said from the kitchen. "Why are you watching interviews of us weirdo," you answered, trying to ignore the fuck me eyes comments.
Rachel looked away, trying to think of an answering before caving. "Uhm- a few of us have like… a group chat where we send edits we find of you two. It’s funny! And it’s cute it’s just-" Rachel said quickly. "A group chat! Who’s on it?!" you said a little loudly. "Are you mad?" she asked, brining you tea. You didn’t even like tea but saying that in a room full of brit’s wasn’t a smart move. "No. No i’m not. It does seem funny yeah but who’s on it?" you asked again.
"Listen, I know you’re not on tik tok but a lot of us are and we… you know we connect. Women’s football is like one huge gay club and you two are a pretty big ship. So it’s like almost just brit’s so… me, Millie, Leah, Lucy, Keira, Georgia, Niahm. We just think it’s cute! Okay. Oh yeah and uh- Millie added Magda and Pernille," Rachel said.
"You guys are insane," you groaned. "We talk about other things too!" Leah said.
But your brain went back to Jessie quickly after, as it always does. You stood up and started walking towards the door. "What are you doing?" Leah asked, looking at you. "It’s been 10 minutes. If Millie hasn’t gotten through to her now she won’t at all," you answered.
As you went to open the door, it opened before you could. In the doorway stood Jessie and behind her, Millie. Jessie had a towel slung over her arms and her hair was tucked neatly behind her ears.
Your face softened immediately in a way that would be impossible not to notice. "Hey, Jess. You okay?" you asked, looking at her softly. "Yeah. Yeah I’m gonna- what are Leah Williamson and Rachel Daly doing in our living room?" she asked in confusion, smiling at them awkwardly. "Heyy…" Leah said, waving. "Ignore them," you said, moving aside to let Millie slip out of Jessie’s dark bedroom. "I’m gonna shower. And then we can start packing, okay?" she said to you.
You nodded quickly and maybe a little aggressively. "Yeah! Yes. For sure," you said to her. She smiled at you, love in your eyes that you couldn’t see was there before moving past you to go to the washroom.
Once she closed the door to the washroom, you rushed to Millie and basically jumped in her arms. "What did you say to her?" you asked, pulling away. "It’s not important, she’s okay," the defender answered. "I could give you a kiss right now. Thank you so much," you hugged her again and she smiled. "Save that for Fleming," she smiled. "Oh my god. I know about the group chat by the way. Not cool," you said to her, smacking her arm playfully. "I gotta go unpack me and Jess’ suitcases so you guys can go now. Unless you want to stay. "Why are you unpacking?" Leah asked. "I don’t want Jessie to feel about being down for so long. She processed how she needed too and I don’t want her to see that I had just resorted to doing her things for her. It’ll make her feel bad and I don’t want that," you smiled. "You’re whipped," Rachel said. "How could I not be?"
After thanking Leah, Rachel and Millie for the thousandth time, they left and you kept your promise of unpacking.
You were quick to put the clothes you had snuck out of Jessie's bedroom as she slept back into the drawers. However she was also quick to get out of the shower. She caught you as you walked outside of her bedroom, steam pouring out of the shower. "What are you doing?" she asked, sounding gentle for what could be interpreted as harsh words. "Sorry. I was just seeing if you had my... Canada hoodie. I can't find mine." you said to her quickly. "I think its in the wash," she said.
But you barely heard her words as her wet hair was dripping down her bare shoulders and her body was covered only by a towel. "Uh- yeah," you answered, looking back up at her face. "Sorry," you said quickly, walking past her and into your own room.
You packed your suitcase quickly, not forgetting anything as you were pretty used to packing by now. Getting ready to prepare some kind of meal, you went to the kitchen only to find the fridge completely empty. In between caring for Jessie, worrying about Jessie and thinking about Jessie, groceries had been the last thing on your mind. You hurriedly wrote a note with a pen stating that you would be back with tacos for supper as soon as possible, and then you left.
Jessie, however, was pacing her bedroom in complete worry. Her mind was trying to tell her not to tell you how she felt, but her heart, man her heart was yelling for you. So, she did the only thing she knew how to do. Ask her sister.
Jessie: Follow your heart or you mind?
Elysse: Heart.
So that was settled. Jessie opened the door and walked into the living room and kitchen area. "Y/n?" She called out your name, looking around before seeing the note.
Jessie sat on the couch for twenty en minutes before it started pouring rain outside. You were extremely environmentally friendly and so she knew off the bat that you were stuck in the rain as the taco place you refused to drive too was a thirty minute walk.
It was an extra 20 minutes until the door of your appartement opened. You stood there, soaked to the bone and teary eyed as you held the paper bag containing the tacos that was basically reduced to paper pulp. "I- It started raining and the tacos im pretty sure are soggy and everything’s going wrong and i’m so sorry I just- i’m tired i’m really tired-" your rant got cut off by Jessie hurrying up to you and putting her hands on both sides of your face. "Hey. Breathe. It’s okay. I don’t care about the tacos I just care about you, and you are gonna catch a cold," she said, moving her hands to put the paper bag on the counter.
"I know you like those tacos and-"
"I’m not gonna let you cry over tacos," Jessie said, brushing droplets of water off your face. "I’m not crying because of the tacos i’m crying because I feel like I let you down. I let you be sad and I didn’t do anything for over a week-"
But you were silenced quickly when Jessie’s lips hit yours. She didn’t give you much though. A close lipped kiss as her hands roamed your wet abs. And that was it. She pulled away, stopping herself but not stopping you from slipping your hands under the waistband of her sweatpants. "Go change," she said to you gently. "I don’t want to change I want you to kiss me and never stop," you answered, looking at her lips. "Change. I want to hug you and hold you but it’s gross when you’re all wet," she said. "I’m wet anyways," you said, jokingly winking at her and making her mouth drop as she let out a laugh. "You’re funny. Go!"
So that’s what you did. You spent the night on the couch in her arms, holding her, kissing her and rubbing her back, just happy to be with her. She would be okay without Magda and P. And so would you. Did it hurt? Yeah. Did it hurt less with her? Yep.

Even though the show had ended no one was making a move to leave, Quinn and Zoya were going through their videos and pictures of the night, trying to find the pictures to post, while they raved about how great the show was, while Y/N was trying her best to keep it together.
“Wasn’t the show amazing Y/N?” Zoya asked. All Y/N could do was nod her head, she had completely broken down at Sign of the Times and she wasn’t sure how she pulled herself together, but she was hanging on by just a tiny thread.
She was taking a picture of Zoya and Quinn when her phone vibrated, she handed Zoya her phone, before opening her own phone, it was probably just Kiara checking in to see how the night had gone. But it wasn’t Kiara’s name that popped up, it was Harry’s.
Y/N didn’t hesitate opening the text, she read over the words and started to panic, she didn’t know if she was ready to talk, especially tonight. She was having an internal debate trying to figure out her best move, maybe if she ripped off the bandaid and talked to Harry tonight she’d feel better, but on the other hand, she was already a mess and she didn’t know if she’d even be able to get through the talk.
Zoya and Quinn noticed Y/N’s strange behavior and looked to one another, worried for their friend, “Are you okay y/n/n? You seem out of it.”
Y/N nodded, “Yeah, I’m just not feeling great, it must have been something I ate, I’m gonna run to the bathroom, I’ll meet you guys outside.”
“Are you sure, we can come?” Quinn asked and Y/N immediately shook her head.
“Yeah, I’m fine, actually, I’m feeling a lot more sick than I realized, I don’t want to spread it to you, if I have anything, I’ll get an Uber home.” Y/N explained, she needed to buy time and she definitely didn’t want Quinn and Zoya hovering over her while she decided.
“No y/n/n, it’s fine, we don’t mind.” Zoya assured her.
“Honestly, I’d rather just be alone, I’m a whiny bitch when I’m sick, and I know you guys wanted to go out after the show, so don’t let me stop your plans.” Y/N explained.
Zoya and Quinn share a look, they knew Y/N wasn’t going to back down anytime soon and they didn’t want to push it, “Okay, if you say so, just text us when you get home okay?”
Y/N nodded and gave them a grateful smile, “I will, you guys text too.”
The girls shared a quick hug before parting ways, thankfully the arena had emptied out, there were very few people left, and most of them were arena staff. Y/N let out an exasperated sigh before plopping down on the ground and burying her face into her knees. She didn’t even try to stop the tears this time, and this time they were falling fast, she didn’t know what to do, she was so conflicted.
Jeff had stepped out to see how empty the arena had gotten and to gauge if Y/N had left, but to his surprise he spotted her crumpled figure on the ground. He was a little glad that she hadn’t left yet, but he knew that her on the ground crying was definitely not a good sign and made a beeline towards her, but a security guard had beaten him to her.
The security guard looked at the girl in pity, he felt bad telling a crying girl to leave, but it was his job, “Excuse me miss, I’m afraid you’re going to have to exit the arena.”
Y/N looked up with her tear streaked face, she took a deep breath before responding, “Shit, I’m sorry.”
She was starting to get up when Jeff jogged to them and started to help her up, “She’s fine.”
Y/N was stunned to see Jeff, but nonetheless took his helping hand and stood up. The security guard narrowed his eyes at Jeff, “Are you sure?”
Jeff nodded and held up his badge, “She’s got clearance.”
The security guard’s eyes widened at Jeff’s badge, “Sorry Mr. Azoff, I didn’t know she was your guest.”
Jeff waved it off, “It’s fine, don’t worry about it.”
The security guard gave them one last smile before walking to check the rest of the arena, while Jeff turned to look at Y/N, who honestly did look like a mess, but Harry wasn’t in better shape when Jeff had left him.
“It’s good to see you Y/N.” Jeff said, pulling the girl into a hug. Y/N couldn’t stop the tears from falling when she hugged him back, she did miss Jeff, he was a great friend to her, and never failed to make her feel better.
“It’s good to see you too Jeff.” Y/N choked out.
The pair pulled apart and Jeff nodded to backstage, “Come on, he’s waiting.”
Y/N glanced to the backstage area, before looking back to Jeff, “Is he mad?”
Jeff shook his head, “Not mad, but he’s shocked.”
She sighed, “I wouldn’t have come, it’s just my friends are huge fans and they’ve been wanting to come and I didn’t want to ruin their night, but I guess I ruined H’s instead, way to go me.”
“You didn’t ruin his night Y/N, he’s just shocked, to be honest we all are, this is the last place we expected to see you.” Jeff said as he guided her through the backrooms.
“Yeah, me too. I can’t believe I’m actually here.” Y/N said as she looked around, it had been years since she had been backstage at Forum and was marveling at how nothing had really changed.
“Well did you enjoy the show at least?” Jeff asked and Y/N gave him a knowing look.
“I think you know the answer to that.”
Jeff laughed as they approached Harry’s green room, “Well I’m glad you enjoyed the show, and it really was great to see you. I missed you.”
Y/N hugged Jeff again, “I missed you too Jeffrey.” Jeff chuckled as he pulled away, and then knocked on the door.
Harry was quick to answer, he was losing his mind waiting for Jeff to grab Y/N. He pulled open the door quickly but faltered as soon as he saw Y/N. She was actually in front of him, he couldn’t believe it. Y/N was also standing still, she was in shock, she definitely wasn’t expecting to be this close to him again.
Jeff glanced at the pair before deciding he needed to get away to give them their own space to talk, “Well I’ll leave you two to it.” He bid them a quick wave before practically running to the other greenroom.
Harry’s eyes hadn’t left Y/N, he was at a loss for words, the only word he could get out was a measly, “Hi.”
She swallowed hard before looking up at him, “Hi.”
Harry opened the door wider and motioned for her to come in and she slipped in, she looked around and saw the yellow sofa and the familiar throw pillows, it felt like nothing had changed.
Harry closed the door and walked towards the sofa and Y/N followed, they took a seat and sat in silence for a moment.
She looked around once again, before looking back to Harry, “The room is nice.”
“Thanks,” Harry smiled, “I can’t believe you’re here.”
“Yeah, you and me both.” Y/N mumbled.
“You look good.” Harry said, taking her in, now he could really see every little detail of hers that he had missed so dearly. He could even smell her familiar scent of jasmine and gardenia hanging in the air. He had missed everything about her.
Y/N smiled softly at Harry’s compliment and her cheeks heated up, he never failed to make her act like a schoolgirl with a crush, “You look good too H.”
Harry swallowed before looking back to her, “So did you like the show?”
Y/N nodded, “Of course I did, you were great, I mean you’re always great.”
Harry smiled at that, before sighing, “Why did you come? Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”
Y/N looked down at her hands at his question, “My friends are really big fans and they already bought the tickets and I couldn’t say no to them be-”
“Because you hate disappointing your friends.” Harry finished for her and she nodded.
“I also didn’t want to make a huge deal out of things, so I thought if I didn’t tell you, maybe you wouldn’t even notice me.”
“I’ll always notice you Y/N.” Harry said without missing a beat.
They sat in a few moments of silence before Harry broke it, “How’s school?”
“It’s okay, one more semester and then I’ll be on rotations.” Y/N told him.
Harry grinned at that, “That’s exciting, I’m proud of you.”
Y/N felt a lump in her throat, but she pushed it down, “Thanks H.”
Harry could still read her like a book, so of course he saw the tears ready to spill, “Fuck, I didn’t mean to make you cry.”
He scooted closer to her trying to figure out how to comfort her, Y/N just shook her head, “No, no, it’s fine, it’s just, this is hard.”
“Yeah, I know,” Harry says, before taking a deep breath, “Can we talk about us?”
Y/N glanced at him with an unreadable expression, “What’s there to talk about?”
“Y/N, I still love you.” He said as he took her hand into his.
Her lips quivered and she swallowed her tears, “We can’t talk about this right now H, you’re touring and I know you won’t stop anytime soon and I’m still in school”
“I know, but y/n/n, I don’t think you understand, this year has been hell without you, I didn’t know it could hurt this much. It quite literally physically pains me to be away from you.” Harry said, a few tears slipping from his eyes.
“I know, how do you think I feel? I just, I just can’t do it again cause what if it doesn’t work, the first time broke me enough.” Y/N said, not stopping the tears this time.
Harry wasn’t stopping his tears either, “I can try, I’ll be better, I promise, I’ll do my best to make things work. Just seeing you again showed me that I never stopped loving you, I don’t think I ever will, you truly are the best thing to happen to me, I need you.”
“I need you too H, I literally couldn’t function properly without you for a whole month, but I just can’t do it again, I can’t go through another break up with you if something goes wrong this time. I just can’t do it.” Y/N cried.
Harry took her other hand into his, “We can work together, we can do this. I believe in us, we were something, don't you think so?”
“I know, I just can’t bear the thought of being away from you.” Y/N sniffled.
“We’ll figure it out, I swear y/n/n. If it means me coming here every time I have a day or two off I’ll do it, I’ll do anything for you.” Harry pleaded.
The pair sat holding hands as they sobbed, Y/N looked up to Harry’s eyes and saw how genuine he was being, but she knew she couldn’t make him do all of that accommodating just for her, it would put too much strain on him and that was the last thing she wanted.
“I’ll always love you H, but right now isn’t the time for us, just give it more time.”
Harry’s heart broke hearing that, but he knew she was right, they just needed to wait a bit longer, “Can we still be friends until then?”
Y/N gave him a watery smile, “Of course we can, I can’t imagine my life without you.”
Harry smiled at that, he was glad she felt the same way he did. She gave his hands one more squeeze before pulling away, “Well, I guess I’ll see you around then?”
“Let me drive you home?” Harry asked.
“Okay.”
Harry gathers some of his essentials before motioning to Y/N that he was ready. The pair quietly walk out of the room and head to the back where Harry had parked his car. Surprisingly Jeff was still there, Harry stopped once he spotted him, “Where’s everyone else? Did they go home?”
“Yeah they did, also they said something about brunch tomorrow morning, but you’re going to have to check with them about that.” Jeff says and Harry nods, he didn’t think he’d be in the proper mood for brunch in the morning, but he wasn’t going to say that out loud.
“Oh, okay, I’m going to drop y/n/n back home.” Harry says and Jeff smiles, he was glad that at least they were talking enough for Harry to drop her off at home. He bid the pair a good night before walking off to check on some more details for the next show.
The drive to Y/N’s was quiet, the radio was on but it was quiet and neither one of them wanted to say anything worried that any statement would cause another breakdown.
Y/N looked out the window, she had tears streaming down her face, but they were silent, she was so torn up, she really wanted to be back with Harry but she thought they weren’t ready. She thought that they needed more time, they both needed just a little bit more time.
Harry pulled into the complex and parked in front of her condo. He hadn’t been to her new place yet and was trying to take as many details in. Y/N looked at Harry before opening the car door, “Do you want to come in? I can make you some tea.”
Harry wanted to say yes, he wanted to say yes so badly but he knew it wasn’t a good idea, “I don’t think I should, I have an early morning.”
She nodded, “Ok, it was really good seeing you, I missed you.”
“I missed you too Y/N, more than anything.” Harry murmured.
“Goodnight H, drive home safe okay?” She said as she climbed out of the car.
“I will, good night.” Harry smiled softly. Y/N closed the car door and walked the short distance from the driveway to her front door, she unlocked the door and stepped in and gave Harry one last wave before closing the door. As soon as she closed the door, the waterworks started again and Y/N was on the floor with her head between her legs sobbing.
Harry waited until the door was fully closed before reversing out of the driveway and driving away. He wasn’t in better shape than Y/N, he drove straight to Jeff’s place, he didn’t want to be alone, he didn’t trust himself to be alone.

When It All Falls Apart - Chapter 11
Tumblr media
Pairing- ex!Jensen x Padalecki Reader
Word count- 4,674
Warnings- Some language. Dealing with a breakup. Sad reader. Angst, If I missed something let me know!
A/N-II'm interested to see what you all think about this one. Jensen is wrapping up his time in Toronto, and this brings a visitor to Austin. A little off canon, SPN ended after 10 years. We still got all the characters in during that time though. Thank you to @writercole and @leigh70 for your help with this. You two are amazing!!
Summary-Y/N Padalecki loved acting on Supernatural.  Working alongside your older brother and your boyfriend, but after ten seasons the guys have chosen to hang up the guns.  Now the three of you are moving on to other projects, but that’s all that needs to change right?  While you have moved to Austin to be closer to your family and boyfriend, Jensen is working elsewhere.  Distance is only the start of your troubles.
Series Masterlist
The nice thing about your first day on Walker?  It was everyone’s first day.  When you joined Supernatural, they had already been working together for a couple seasons.  You were the new kid who had to figure out where she fit in on her brother's playground.
There were a few scenes with the whole Walker family, so you had a chance between takes and set ups to get to know your new cast mates.  You and Keegan, hit it off.  During one of the breaks, you can’t help but ask what it was like working on Pretty Little Liars.  He laughs at that.
“Dude, that show was my guilty pleasure.  Please?” you plead.  “Did you know the ‘A’ secrets ahead of time?  What were the girls like?”
“You do know the show wrapped right?  Like a few years ago.”
“Yes, I saw the finale.  It was nuts.”
“It was,” he laughs again.
“Please Toby won’t you share?” you ask with a laugh.
Shaking his head at your use of his PLL character’s name he responds, “maybe another time when I don’t have to be Liam in a few minutes.”
He takes some pictures and behind the scenes videos and posts them on his Instagram, announcing the first day of filming, tagging you, Jared and a few other cast mates.
The rest of the work week goes by very quickly.  Before you know it, it’s Saturday and you are loading up your car and Jared’s truck with the rest of your things.  The four of you make the trip over to your new place.  You and Jared start to unload his truck while Gen and Tom watch,  stepping away from the  truck a box is taken out of your hand, shocking you.  Turning you see Jeff holding it with a smile.
“Surprise.  Couldn’t let that one over there take all the credit for helping you.  Plus, I have to know where I can find my little sister too.”
You laugh at that, “Thanks, I appreciate the help.  Ulterior motivated, but still help.”  Grabbing another box you lead them all upstairs to your new apartment.
Unlocking the door, you let them all in before following.  You don't notice the look Jared and Jeff share.  Gen bites her bottom lip as she looks around before raising her eyebrows at Jared.
Tumblr media
“It’s small in here,” Tom is the first to speak.
‘Yeah, but it’s just me, so it’s alright,” you tell him.
“It’s cute,” Gen finally speaks up.
Jared doesn’t want her carrying anything, so she and Tom stay in the apartment and she begins opening some of the boxes of clothes while the three of you carry in the rest.  It doesn’t take long to get everything inside.  Some of your things are still at still stored at your brother's place.
“How long of a lease did you sign?” Jeff carefully asks once everything is unloaded..
“It was only available for four months.”
“Good,” he answers without thinking. “To know, so you won’t be able to hide from us,” he quickly finishes
“I don’t think you could hide from anything in here,” Jared mumbles, but you don’t hear him.
You had gone to help Gen in the bedroom area and come back to your two brothers in the kitchen.  It looks even smaller than before with them standing in it.  You finally get everyone to clear out, and you are alone for your first night in your new place.
It was a restless night; it will take some time to get used to a new place, especially one with so many outside noises.  There is a text from Jared asking how your first night went, and you respond before walking to the kitchen.   The empty cupboards and fridge dictate your plans after a shower.  Heading to the grocery store, you grab what you need to get you through the week.
The following week has you scheduled for four days of filming.  You spend your off days in your apartment, or at the onsite gym and pool.  Gen and Tom stop by on Tuesday, your nephew was having a hard time not seeing you as frequently as he had become used to.  He asked for a snack, but wasn’t happy with what was in your cupboard. Protein bars just aren’t his thing apparently.  On Thursday you receive a text from Kenzie.
Mack-Hey lady!  How are you doing?  I’ll be in Austin this weekend, are you free Sunday?
You- Hi Kenz, I don’t know of anything going on.
Mack- Great! Are you up for grabbing lunch or shopping? Something?
You-Yeah, sure.  Whatever you feel like.
You haven’t talked to her since your birthday.  You’d be lying if you said you weren’t nervous about seeing her now that you and Jensen were no longer together.  She had to know by now right?
Tom comes to set with Gen on Friday, he walks over and hands you a bag when you finish filming your scene.
“Thanks bud, what’s this?”
“It’s for your new home.”
You open it up and find a big box of goldfish crackers inside.
“Oh, uh..thanks Tom.”
“Dad says Unca Jensen comes home this weekend.  Now you have something for him, not those yucky bars.”
“Great.  Thanks.”
Gen gives you a side hug as he runs to his dad.  “Sorry, we haven’t explained the break up to him yet.”
“That’s alright.”
Jared, carrying Tom over his shoulder, makes his way over. “Hey, we’re doing tacos tonight.  Do you want to come over for dinner?”
“Thanks, but I have plans tonight.”
“Plans? You never have plans.  What are they?” your brother pushes.
“None of our business,” Gen answers while pushing him away.  “We’ll see you later, Y/N.”
So your plans might have been watching movies with a bag of popcorn on the couch, but they were still plans right?  You could handle being on your own again just fine.
Up in Toronto, Jensen is going through his apartment.  Checking that he has everything all packed up. Filming wrapped the day before, there is a get together tonight and then he is out of here tomorrow.  A majority of his things were shipped out earlier in the week.  He just has two suitcases and a carry on going back with him tomorrow. The benefit of renting a fully furnished place, there isn’t as much to take or bring back.
Not finding anything he missed, he sits down on the couch next to his carryon.  Pulling open the front pocket he removes the black box he has looked at every night since he found it.  In a way it has become a reminder of his failures.  Just over a month ago he would have been excited to be going back to Austin and being with his girl.  Now he was just going back to Austin.
Jensen is standing next to one of the bars set up around the room that evening, when Eric finds him.
“How are you doing?” his friend asks.
“Alright, you?”
“I’m fine, but I’m not the one with problems at home.  Ya buy your knee pads yet?”
“You’re hilarious, Eric.  I’m not sure what’s going to happen there.”
The two talk for a bit before Eric moves on to make his rounds among the cast and crew. He talks with Karl and Chase, before they move on to other groups.  Claudia keeps seeming to pop up at his side, but he isn’t up to talking much with her.  When Jensen feels he has been there for a suitable amount of time, he says his farewells.
He crashes on the couch that night, his bed already stripped.  The next morning comes too soon as he quickly showers and throws on travel clothes and a hat to head to the airport and his early morning flight.
Thankfully, there aren’t too many people at the airport at 5 am, and he is able to get through check-in and security without too much of a wait.  Finding a coffee is the first thing on his list once he’s past security.  Taking a muffin with him, he slowly makes his way down to the terminal to wait for the flight to board.  The closer it gets to take off the more the seats fill up.  He pulls the baseball cap down a little lower to try and avoid being recognized.
The three and half hour flight is a rougher one, good thing he’s gotten used to flying over the years.  He is surprised to see Mackenzie waiting for him after he grabs his luggage, he had been planning on just grabbing a taxi to drop him off a few houses down from his.  She walks over to give him a hug and grabs the handle of one of his three bags.
“Hey, how was the flight?”
“Awful.  What are you doing here?”
“Good to see you too, brother dear.”
“I just wasn’t expecting you.”
“Mom told me you were flying in, and gave me the flight details.  I didn’t think you had anyone else picking you up.”
“Yeah, not this time.”  Neither one brings up that it should have been you there instead.
The rest of the walk to the car is a quiet one, once it’s loaded they are off to his place.  Before she can start asking questions, he turns the radio up to discourage conversation.  Luckily, she lets it go, he just doesn’t know the reason she didn’t put up a fight. Once Kenzie pulls into his  driveway she gets out and grabs another bag from the backseat, along with one of Jensen’s.  He gives her a questioning look when he notices it while walking to the front door.
“I’m crashing here tonight, I need some catch up time.  Figured, I could help make sure the house was in order before I left.”
“Did mom just mention that I was coming home, or she send you down?”
She just smiles and continues past him to the door.  “Are you going to come open this or what?”
“This why you didn’t push to talk in the car?  You knew you weren’t just going to drop me off.”
“Whatever would I push you to talk about?” she questions with a smirk.
With a shake of his head, Jensen unlocks the door and heads inside to shut off the alarm. He sets his bags by the stairs and heads to grab a bottle of water from the kitchen. He walks past the counter, pauses and turns back to look at it.  Sitting near the edge is a house key and a garage remote, the ones he gave you.  He stares at them a moment before continuing to the fridge, but instead of pulling out a water he walks out of the kitchen with a beer.
Tumblr media
“Little early for that, don’t you think?” his sister questions.
“It’s almost noon in Toronto right now,” he replies as he sits down on the couch.
“You want to talk about it?” She asks, sitting across from him.
“Toronto’s a nice place, but I’ve been there before.”
“I didn’t mean the city, Jay.”
“The cast? The show?  They were both great, but mom is so not allowed to watch.”
“Jensen, I was referring to Y/N and you know it.”
He’s quiet before replying to Mack, “next topic.”
“Jay, what happened?” she softly pushes.  “When you were home Father’s Day weekend, you said everything was good.”
“Why did no one tell me it was Father’s Day weekend?” He tries to change the subject.
“I guess we thought you knew, and would be home that weekend for Y/N’s birthday anyway.”
He looks at his sister, “You knew it was her birthday?”
“Mom and I knew it was on Saturday, yes.”
“No one said anything.  But you both asked if I saw her, you could have said why.”
“Really?  We both thought you knew,  you were always on top of those things especially with Y/N.  When you said you were busy Saturday, we figured it was with her.  When we talked to Y/N that day, she was here waiting for you to come home.  She told mom she thought you saying you had meetings was to surprise her.  Not one of us ever expected you to forget her birthday.”
Hearing this, Jensen felt even worse than before about forgetting your birthday.
“What happened?”
Hanging his head with a sigh, he shrugs.  “I don’t really know.  I guess time went faster than I thought.  I knew filming was coming to an end in a few weeks, but I still didn’t put it together that it was already into June.  Not until I was back on set the next week.”
“Did you talk to her about it?”
“I meant to.  Guess I had it in my head that I did, but I found her gift in my safe last week.  I never gave it to her.”
“Did she really come up to Toronto to break up with you, like that chick said in the interview?”
He looks up in confusion, before it dawns on him. “You mean Claudia?  I don’t know how she even found out about it.  Jared said he and Gen were hoping things would be better if she came up and saw me, so I guess breaking up wasn’t her intent when she arrived.”
“So something happened when she was there?”
“I guess.”
“Care to elaborate?  Something tells me that’s a big part of the story.”
He gives her a brief recap of that weekend, he had work things, she was on her own.  The group went out for dinner and Kripke ran into her and invited her along.  “I might have been upset about that, and maybe didn’t handle it in the right way,” he finishes up.
“What’s not the right way?”
“I might have pushed her to leave the restaurant.”
“Jensen, you didn’t.  You friggin idiot.”
He nods, “when I got back to the apartment her bag was packed and she was waiting for me.  She said,” he pauses as he wills the tears forming away, “that she couldn’t do whatever us was, didn’t even know what we were anymore.  That she wasn’t important to me.  My life was too busy and she didn’t fit in it anymore.”
“What did you say when she said this?”
“That I didn’t know what she was talking about, and everything I do is for the two of us.”  In a quieter voice he says, “might have told her to be out of the house before I got back too.”
Mack is quiet as she takes in everything he said.
Jensen continues before she can speak.  “Talked to Jare at the last convention.  He said she’s been hurting for a while, because of how things were.  I never saw it.”
“Wow.  One, you’re an ass.  Two, you didn’t have any inkling she was feeling any of that?  Had she mentioned anything before when you guys talked?”
He hangs his head once again, “That was the other thing they both said, we didn’t talk anymore.”
“Is that true?”
He just shrugs, looking around the room.  His eyes settle on the dvd laying by the tv.  It was the last one you two had watched together.
“I just always thought you two would be forever,” Mack comments.
“Me too, already bought the ring.”
“You did?”
He just nods.
“Are you going to try and fix things?”
“She deserves better,” he finally mumbles.
Mackenzie doesn’t get anything else out of him.  Leaving him alone for a bit, she works on dusting and vacuuming before coming back to try and get him to go to the grocery store with her, but he won’t leave the couch.  His bags stay by the stairs, and she notices he is on his third beer before she leaves for the store.
Returning an hour later, he is still in the same spot.  The third bottle of beer was the last one in the house, so at least he didn't have anything more to drink while she was gone.  The only thing different is the jar of peanut butter and spoon sitting in front of him.
“Alright, time to take your luggage upstairs.  Come on, let’s move.”
She finally gets him upstairs, and starts on a light dinner while he’s busy.  The rest of the evening is a quiet one.  Mack isn’t sure if she should be surprised or not over how bad he is taking the breakup.  She can’t help but wonder what kind of shape you are going to be in tomorrow.
When your alarm goes off Sunday, it takes a moment for you to realize why you even set it.  Oh yeah, shopping and lunch with Kenzie.  Dragging yourself out of bed you make your way to the bathroom to get ready.
A text comes through while you are drying your hair.
Mack-I’m almost ready, do you want me to swing by and pick you up?
You- You don’t have to do that.
Mack- I want to, that we can spend more time together.
You- If you’re sure.
After entering your new address you hit send and quickly finish your hair and makeup.  As you are making sure you have everything you need in your purse, there is a knock at the door.  Opening it up, you find a smiling Mackenzie on the other side.  She gives you a hug before walking in and looking around.
“This is…um.  Where’s the rest of it?” she finally asks.
“Good to see you too, Kenz.”
“It’s always good to see you, Y/N.  But seriously, is there more to this place?  I’m standing in the living room and so are your kitchen and bedroom.”
“It’s not that bad,” you defend.  “There’s a pool and a gym that I have access to.”
“Great.”
“I was just checking my purse, then I’m ready.”
Throwing the apartment keys in your bag after locking the door you follow Kenzie out to the car.  She doesn’t ask any questions as she drives to Barton Creek Square, just talks about what she has been up to lately.  After she parks at the JCPenny’s entrance the two of you get out and head inside.
Tumblr media
Walking through the department store, you browse the first floor before riding the escalator to the second.  Mackenzie is looking through the toddler clothes for her nephew Levi, while you find yourself wondering over to the baby department.  You don’t hear her walk over to you, as you are looking through the bottom shelf.  Noticing the feet beside you, you look up at her sad face.
“What’s wrong?” you question, standing up.
She just shakes her head.
“I’ve known you too long for that, what’s up?”
“It’s just, I didn’t used to think it would be too much longer and I would be picking up these for your and Jay’s baby.  I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have brought it up, I just...”
A sad smile spreads over your face, “There have been a few that have caught my eye, where I’ve thought Jens would love this one.  I get it.  Let’s get out of here.”
After both of you pay for the items you picked up, you walk out into the mall’s second story.   Checking out the shops as you pass, nothing catches your eye before you reach the center of the mall.
Deciding to walk toward the end with Dillard's first, you turn to the right.  Browsing through a few stores, you once again make your way to the middle and head down to the other end.
“California Pizza Kitchen, was down this way right?” Mack asks.
“Yeah, it is.”
“Want to grab lunch?”
“Sure.”
You walk down one side and look through those stores before coming back up the other aisle.  You don’t know who you forgot about the store right next door to the restaurant.
Coming up to the Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop, you stop.  Kenzie is almost to the restaurant when she realizes you aren’t with her.  Turning around she sees you staring into the previous shop.
“Did you want to go in there first?”
“No, no, I’m good.”  With one last look you make your way over to the restaurant.
As you order drinks and food, Kenzie can pick up on a dip in your mood, just like in JCPenny’s.
“What’s on your mind, and before you say nothing, remember I know you too.”
Giving her a small smile, you look down at the table as you answer.  “I don’t think I’ve made a trip here where I haven’t gone to the Pro Shop and picked something up for Jensen.”
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“The store?”
She gives you a bitch face, “Oh my god you are as bad as my brother!”
You give her a tight smile and look around the crowded restaurant. “Not here.”
Mack understands what you mean, “Alright, I’ll let it go for now.”
She asks about Walker, and the Netflix mini series that wrapped up.  You ask how Jeremy, her parents, and brother’s family are.  Jensen used to keep you up on all of that.  Conversation died down when the pizza and bread arrived.  The leftovers are boxed up when the two of you are finished and put in a bag to go.
Having walked the second floor of the mall, you take the escalator down to the first floor to check out those stores.  After browsing Bath and Body Works new scents you manage to leave that store empty handed.  A new pair of workout shoes, and some workout pants are all that catch your attention.  It was obvious to Kenzie, your heart and mind just aren’t into this shopping trip. After a quick stop at the Cheesecake Factory for dessert to go and Soul Popped for some popcorn, the two of you are on your way back to your place.
Jensen receives a call from Jared, while Kenzie is out doing whatever it was she had to do this afternoon.
“Hey man.”
“Hey Jare.”
“Um, So are you back in town?”
“Yeah, got back last night.”
“That’s…that’s good.”
“Yeah.”
There was a little bit of awkward silence the two of them didn’t usually have.  It seems like they aren’t really sure where their friendship stands.
“Well, Tom keeps asking about you, and I told him I would call and see if you wanted to come over and hang by the pool?”
Jensen bites down on his lip as he thinks over the invitation.  It used to be a no brainer, but after the conversation with his sister yesterday he really doesn’t think he can face Y/N right now.
“I miss my little buddy, but I don’t know if today will work.  Kenzie’s in town today.  She had something to go out and do, but I expect her back anytime and I don’t know what she has planned.”
“Oh, alright.  Have a nice time with your sister.”
“Thanks.  Maybe we can take him down to the park he likes one day this week?”  Jensen throws his head back, usually it’s you taking Tom out with him.
“Sure, I’ll check my and Gen’s filming schedule for this week and see what we have going on.”
“Sounds good.”
“Alright, I’ll talk to you later then Jackles.  Have a good one.”
“Thanks Jpad.  See ya.”
Mack pulls into the empty parking spot near your apartment and hops out.  She grabs the leftovers from lunch while you carry the cheesecake and your purchases.  You set the shopping bag on your bed and take the dessert to the kitchen where she is already putting the pizza in the fridge.  She starts opening the few cupboards looking for plates and utensils for the cheesecake.  You help her out before you both move over to the couch.
“Alright now are you ready to talk about it?  And if you even think about saying, ‘about what,’ I’m going to scream.”
Setting the barely touched desert down, you sit back on the couch and look at your friend.  “I guess I just don’t fit in his life anymore.  I think he’s ready to move on to his new co-star anyway.”
“For what it’s worth, I think my brother is a major idiot, but he hasn’t moved on to anyone else.”
“I was… was just convenient when we were working together in Vancouver.  He never had time to talk anymore.  I had to call him, I think he’s called me once in the last few months.  I went to see him, and other things came up that were more important than spending time together.”  You shrug not sure what else to say.
“What could have been more important than seeing you?” she questions.
“Going out with his castmates for drinks or golfing.”
“Shit, I’m sorry for all that.  I really am.  Mom and I were so surprised to hear you two broke up.”
You just nod your head. “I wasn’t sure what he’d tell you.”
“We heard from the interview.  Honestly, he has barely talked to any of us lately either.”
“Oh, so you heard I went up there just to break up with him.  That’s not how it happened.”
“I know.”
You stop and stare at her.
“He talked to me a little bit last night about Toronto, and what happened that weekend.  Eventually he told me what he did and what happened.  I don’t blame you at all.”
“Thanks.”
You can’t help the tears that begin to flow.  Kenzie puts down her plate and scoots closer to wrap you in a big hug.
“I really thought he was it for me, you know,” you manage to get out between sobs.
“I know, I know, honey,” Kenzie squeezes you tighter and curses out her brother in her head.
When you finally calm down she moves back.  You get up to go wash your face.  She has the television on Hallmark when you return.  The two of you watch the Christmas in July movie in silence while you pick at your cheesecake.
“Okay, but what is the deal with this place?” she finally asks.
You look around and shrug.  “It came fully furnished.  I sold all my furniture when I moved to Texas and in with your brother.”
“You did?”
“Yeah, his house was set.  We didn’t need the hassle of moving more than my clothes and personal items.”
“So that’s why you got this place?”
“Yeah.  And it didn’t need a long term contract.”
“So are you still looking for another place?”
Biting your lip you study the blonde in front of you.  “Can you keep this to yourself?”
“Of course.”
“I’m thinking of moving back to L.A. at the end of the year.”
“What! Why?”
“Because everything here reminds me of your brother.  I just can’t handle being reminded of him all the time.  Being with Jensen was the reason I moved here in the first place.”
“What about Walker?”
“I think I’m going to see if they can scale back how often my character is on.  Maybe be just a guest star or something.”
“Oh wow.”   A minute later she softly asks, “Do you still love him?”
Closing your eyes and shaking your head you almost whisper “I don’t want to.  I shouldn’t, he’s probably already moving on.  I just can’t get that through to my heart.”
There isn’t much more said after that.  The movie neither of you have been paying attention to, finishes, and Kenzie gets up to leave.  She gives you a big hug before descending the steps.
“Call me if you ever need anything.  I’m still here for you, so are my parents.  Love ya girl!” she calls out.
“Thanks Mack.  Same goes for you.  Love you, drive safe!”  You watch her pull out before heading back inside.  Grabbing a bag of popcorn you collapse down on the couch with your Hallmark movies for company.  When the heroine eventually finds her Mr. Right, you can’t help the tears that fall thinking how you lost yours.
Thank you for reading!

Maze runner chapter six
Newt x fem reader.
Previous part
Tumblr media
The girl was on top of the watchtower and had been throwing fruit and cans down at the boys below. She hadn't even stopped when you spoke out. Newt tried to cover you both with a barrel lid he had fashioned into a shield. Thomas came running over with Minho.
“Hey, it's Thomas! It's Thomas! I'm gonna
come up, okay?” She stopped throwing things and backed away from the ledge “Okay- Just me. I'm coming up.” Thomas climbed the bamboo ladder.
“Gally, Gally come on.” You say holding onto his arm. Gally looked at you and his eyes softened.
“How are you not worried about this, y/n? You've been here for so long and….” He sighs.
“It's weird Gally, this whole time I've been so frightened about what was out there, about the Grievers, but if this is our chance to get out then I'm taking it.” You give his arm a gentle squeeze, hoping it would reassure him. He took in a long breath, glanced over to Newt and walked away.
You weren't sure what to do with yourself. Most of the other boys had gone back to their daily chores, acting like nothing was different. Turning yourself round you look at the Glade, taking in the beauty of it. You had no memory of any home you had before this place, this, this was the only home you had known and these boys were your family. The grass was soft below your feet, the trees tall and gave shelter and shade. The hard work of every person there had built a home, a dining hut, a meeting hall, a storage shed, an ever growing vegetable patch. You wondered what would happen to the animals if you left. Would they fend for themselves in this Glade? Would they wander off into the Maze? So far Mai Mai had kept them all safe inside the. Would Mai Mai come with you?
So many thoughts ran through your mind and you felt your knees buckle below you until you slowly dropped to the ground. Newt came darting over to you.
“Hey, you okay?” He asks full of concern.
“Yeah, yeah just tired.” You say, holding his hand and letting him lift you up.
“She's coming down.” Jeff had stepped closer to you both and nodded his head toward the watchtower. You both turn and see Thomas helping the girl off the ladder. He guided her over to you.
“This is Newt, Jeff and Y/n, guys this is Teresa.” He introduced her. The tiger huffed and nudged his hand, “Oh, this is Mai Mai.” He laughed. The tiger shook out her head and moved back to your legs.
“We need to go see Alby.” Thomas explained. You all walked with him to the medjacks hut. Alby lay on a bed, his hands and legs tied down. The sting wound was black and nasty, and his veins filled with the sickness.
“We don't even know what this stuff is. We don't know who sent it. Or why it came up here with you. For all we know, this thing could kill him.” Newt said nervously.
“He's already dying. Look at him. How could this possibly make it any worse?” Thomas argued back.
“Come on, it's worth a try.” You say to Newt.
“All right. Do it.” Newt nodded.
Thomas moved forward, the syringe of blue liquid in his hand. Just as he got close Alby broke from his restraints and dove forward grabbing at Thomas.
“You shouldn't be here! You shouldn't be here!” Alby shouted.
“No!” You all shout and scrambled to subdue Alby back onto the bed.
“Get the syringe!” Thomas shouted. Teresa searched for it, quickly scanning the floor. She grabbed it up in her hand and plunged it into Alby’s chest. There is a moment of silence as you all stand there watching. Slowly Alby's breathing evened out and you all allowed yourself to relax slightly.
“Well, that worked.” You shrug, Newt has to hold back his laugh.
“Okay, from now on… someone stays here and watches him around the clock.” He states, showing the authority that had been given to him.
“Hey-” Gally stepped round the door, his face was solomn, “Sundown, Greenie. Time to go.” As he spoke Mai Mai moved across to him and touched her nose to his hand, reminding you that Gally was still one of you. He scratched behind her a few times as Thomas stepped over to him. The two boys leave the hut.
Newt told the boys who would have watch at what time and then pulled you outside with him.
“Are we messing everything up?” he asks when you're finally alone. You had made Mai Mai stay in the hut just incase Alby attacked anyone again.
“All I know is that for three years you boys have been going out there to look for a way out and we finally started getting somewhere. I don't think we should ignore that.” you look up into his big brown eyes as you talk. Not too far away a fire had been lit and the smell of Frypan’s food was starting to drift around the Glade. Newt took your hand in his and pulled it up between the two of you, his thumb stroking your knuckles.
“Whatever happens, will you stay close to me?” He said quietly.
“You need me to look after you?” You joke, newt smirks at you.
“I just l... I'd feel better if I knew where you were.” He explained. You use your other hand to stroke back his Sandy hair.
“They're only going out to look, but I'll stay right by your side, I promise.”
“Will you two just kiss already!” Winston called over to you with a laugh in his words. A few other boys started to jeer and giggle at you both. Newt looks down at you with a smirk on his lips and mischievousness in his eyes. He leaned in to whisper into your ear.
“I wouldn't mind you know?”
You laugh and push him back slightly.
“Boys.” You sigh and walk off to get food.

did you post literally today? yes. am I about to request again? of course. it's like a drug (I read the last fanfic 3 times today, yes it was that good)
so, other way around now! what about reader being jealous of Gareth? the setting can still be the Hideout and someone is getting too touchy with him, reader knows Gareth wouldn't cheat but their insecurities get the best of them. (I think Gareth would be cocky about it after the situation had settled, him being sooo tease-y and flattered). if it's too specific you can change it a bit of course.
(I'm just gonna add that I reread your fics for comfort when I'm sad<33)
babe magnet

gareth emerson x gn!reader
word count: 886
warnings: swearing, mentions of inebriation, reader gets insecure about looks/worth, gareth being a flirty shit, fluff
a/n: hi my sweet!!! thank you for requesting. also—i’m not letting this go—you read my stuff repeatedly? 🥺 please stop i’m going to cry!! you have no idea how much it means hearing that you enjoy my writings that much and that they bring you comfort when you’re upset. i love you so so much. also it’s kinda short but i hope it’s what you wanted and that this is okay!! <333 (also his face at the end of this gif?? gareth the grump?? yeah, i think so.)
————
“You’re so handsome, you know that?”
Gareth doesn’t even know this girl’s name. She’s a groupie, obviously, but he can’t even fathom that they have groupies, so he’s not entirely sure what to do about this.
She’s hammered, clearly, and tried to feel up Jeff before he made a break for it.
Gareth focuses on packing his things up, because she’s sat down now, so he doesn’t have to worry about her groping or anything.
“Uh, thank you?”
He just wants to go home. His shoulders hurt, and his ass is sore. He just wants to see you.
But he doesn’t want to be mean.
“I bet it gets hot up there, under those lights. Playing the drums and stuff,” the girl says, rising from the sticky leather of the couch.
Shit, he thinks.
“Yeah, it does. Listen, do you have a ride home?”
He turns around, but quickly realizes that’s a mistake, because she starts rubbing up and down his arms, across his shoulders, and locks her hands behind his neck.
Yeah, he doesn’t like this.
This, however, is the moment you make it to the back room, and to you, it looks like Gareth is spending his evening with some other woman. Someone that’s not you.
Gareth doesn’t even know you’re there. He’s focused on getting this girl somewhere safe and getting her off of him.
He gently grabs her arms and pulls them off of him, but she moves and starts rubbing his chest, so this time he grabs her hands, and a little more firmly.
“Okay, let’s get you home, yeah?”
He turns then, and sees you in the doorway. You’re frowning, but you wipe it away when he makes eye contact with you.
You can see the relief he feels at your appearance.
“Hey, holy shit. I’ll just be a second.” He lowers his voice as he gets closer to you, “she’s drunk and I’m trying to find her ride, I’ll be right back.”
And then he’s gone, off with that woman.
You take the liberty of picking up the rest of his things, zipping up his bag and throwing it over your shoulder.
You know he wouldn’t do anything. Gareth loves you. He’s made it blatantly clear that you’re it for him. That he intends on spending the rest of his life with you. That no one else can put up with his bullshit the way that you do.
But something about seeing that woman made all of those old thoughts wake up and run wild.
She was gorgeous. This beautiful young woman with curves in all the right places. She looked like she belonged on the cover of a magazine.
And you don’t look like that. So maybe, just maybe, Gareth has found someone else. Someone that looks like her. Someone better for him.
Stop. Stop, you think. You try and shut it down.
Gareth loves you. And you love him.
You’re holding the car keys when he gets back.
“Okay, I figured everything out. That girl was totally out of it,” he says, taking his bag from you, though you keep the keys, because you like to drive him after he plays—you know he’s tired.
The entire ride home, you don’t say a word, and Gareth knows something is up, so he corners you once you get inside.
“Tell me what’s wrong.” He’s giving you his best puppy dog eyes, and so you do.
“I saw you with that girl, from before. She was all over you.”
You cross your arms, and he smiles. He smiles and pokes your side. “You’re jealous!”
“No, I’m—”
Gareth cuts you off with a laugh. A cackling, bend over at the waist laugh. But then he straightens.
“I’m sorry.” He kisses your cheek. “You know there’s nothing to be jealous about, right? I love you. And she was a groupie, which—wild I know—but she was drunk and feeling me up, and that was after she was all over Jeff, anyways,” he breathes, stopping his ramble.
“It was icky. And I hate that you saw it another way. But whatever it is that you’re thinking, I don’t want anyone else, okay?”
You sniff. “Okay.”
He kisses you, short and sweet.
But he pokes you in the side again. “You were jealous.”
“Stop.”
“I’m flattered, really. Apparently, I’m just a total babe magnet now. I guess it comes with all the fame. But I mean, look at me, I’m a stud.”
You try to move away from him. This has gone straight to his head.
He grabs your waist, however, picking you up and tossing you on the couch. “You don’t think I’m a stud?” He feigns offense.
“Nope.”
Gareth starts tickling you like crazy, up your sides, on your neck, your stomach, until you’re laughing so hard you can’t breathe and you’re pleading with him so he’ll stop.
“Fine! Fine! You’re a stud! A total babe magnet!”
He lets up, smiling brilliantly at you. “I knew you thought so. Good thing the magnet works too, or else I wouldn’t have you. The babe to my magnet.”
You push at his chest, but he only works harder to try and hug you. “Okay, no, that was horrible. That’s the last straw. Get off me!”
He doesn’t, and you don’t want him to. Not really.

F*&% Them All
pairing: Eddie Munson x Fem!Reader
summary: Y/N visits Eddie on a special night at Hellfire Club.
word count: 2737
warnings: allusions to sex but no actual smut, cursing
masterlist
"What do you mean you're getting married?" Dustin practically screamed as soon as Eddie had announced it at the end of that night's campaign. They were in the middle of the game, Dustin about to roll, when Eddie dropped the bomb as casually as telling someone what they ate for breakfast.
"I didn't even know you had a girlfriend." Mike frowned, watching Eddie roll his eyes.
"Well, she doesn't go to the goddamn high school." He smirked. He was waiting for her to come through the door, looking like the absolute babe she was, and knock the socks off of all these boys. She wasn't sure if any of them would know who she was, but honestly her looks alone were enough to take any of these dweeb's breath away.
"How the hell did you meet her then?" Dustin asked, making Eddie simply blink at him. This kid was going to run Eddie into the ground.
"My life does not revolve around you losers, believe it for not." Eddie sassed back, making Gareth and Jeff stifle a laugh.
"Did those asshats know and we didn't?" Dustin was getting heated, causing the other members of Hellfire to giggle slightly. Mike and Lucas pretending to be coughing when Dustin turned, but it was a poor acting job.
"Well, have you ever asked, Henderson?" Eddie questioned, making Dustin sigh, because as stupid as it was the older man was correct.
"No," The younger boy answered, annoyed.
"Right then," Eddie cocked his head slightly, smile returning. "I am getting married, and you fuckers are all invited." This caused another uprising from the group, however more positive this time.
"You're actually getting married?" Lucas questioned, and Eddie groaned.
"Like, you're having a ceremony?" Mike asked. Eddie put his hands on his head, wanting to pull out his goddamn hair.
"Was that not clear?" He was shouting now, causing the members of Hellfire to cringe back slightly. "How much more explaining do I have to do for you idiots to believe me!" He watched his group simply blink at him, knowing that their questions pushed him too far.
"You could bring her in to meet us at some point." Of course Dustin didn't know his boundaries, and he quickly realized as Eddie's eyes went wide that he had pushed the older man to his breaking.
"Listen here you little shit," Eddie was standing, his hands slamming against the table. He wasn't sure what he was going to say to Dustin to piss him off, but he wanted it to be good. "You have been uninvited to the wedding." He decided on, sitting back and watching the kid shake his head and start to whine.
"No, no, no!" Dustin cried out, drowning out the sound of a girl's laughter through the hall and finally into the room.
"Who the hell have you uninvited to our wedding now, babe?" Her voice caused every man at the table to turn and stare. Walking down the hall and into the doorway, she stood, cheerful as ever, using one hand to wave at the boys.
"You're getting married to Y/N L/N?" Lucas asked, and Eddie smirked at all of their shocked faces.
"Present," Y/N smiled at the group as she stood in the doorway, both hands now behind her back.
"You said she didn't go to this high school!" Dustin argued, looking angry at Eddie again.
Y/N had gone to Hawkins High, graduated in three years and was captain of the cheer team. She graduated in '84 - two years prior - and was in Eddie's senior class the first time. She was the one who encouraged him to start the Hellfire Club his sophomore year, and even played with him on nights when she wasn't at practice or a game - which wasn't often, but she still did it.
So, Eddie had been in love with her for about five years at this point, even if they had only been dating for two of those years.
"No, I said she doesn't go to the high school. As in present." Eddie smirked, staring at his girl as if she put the stars in the sky herself.
"I didn't know kids still knew my name." Y/N smiled, watching all the boys melt. Her smile could melt cheese with how bright it was. Eddie wanted to just take pictures of her smiling forever and put them all over his room.
And then maybe he'd take some pictures where she wasn't smiling. Pictures that would stay in his wallet, for his eyes only.
"You used to go over to the Wheelers all the time to tutor Nancy." Lucas filled in, still staring at Y/N. She was older than the last time they had seen her, about three years older, and in that time she had grown into an adult. It was a strange sight for this kids, who had just seen her in passing years ago. Y/N's eyes narrowed as she looked at the table, her gaze settling on Mike.
"Mike Wheeler?" She gasped, her hands coming out from behind her back and showing off a small container with what could be cookies in it, causing all the boy's to stare. "You guys still hang out?" She looked at the rest of the group, obviously not realizing she had ruined her surprise.
"Baby," Eddie was obviously getting upset that the attention was not on him anymore. "What'd you got there?" He nodded to the container, and she gasped, as if she had suddenly remembered it.
"I made you guys cookies," She smiled, moving forward to put them on the table and take off the top. As she did so, she got close enough for Eddie to grab her waist and pull her into him, causing her to knock over the cookies. They fell all over the table, one falling not the floor.
"Eddie!" Dustin groaned through a mouth full of cookie, gesturing toward the now soiled cookie. Eddie rolled his eyes, tugging Y/N onto his lap more so that they were both sitting on the throne, Y/N's legs pulled over his lap and his hand venturing all the way from her calf to her upper thigh, slightly too high to be decent especially in front of children. The contact on her skin felt nice, since she was wearing a dress tonight for good impressions, however she knew Eddie probably needed to be stopped. She grabbed his wrist as he decided to go further, all the way to her ass. She tilted her head when he smirked at her, fingers twirling at her.
"There are children here," She whispered, leaning forward to put her face close to his. She scrunched her nose, and Eddie couldn't help but lean forward and kiss it, because she was just too cute. He then looked to see only a couple cookies left, and his face instantly changed to anger.
"Hey, dumbasses!" Eddie yelled out, the volume making Y/N close her eyes and lift her eyebrows. "Leave some for me! My wife made them!" He reached forward and snatched the rest, causing an uprising of groans.
"You're not married yet!" Dustin reminded the couple, finishing off his cookie.
"Too bad you'll never see it!" Eddie fired back, stuffing a cookie in his mouth to punctuate his sentence. Y/N smirked, grabbing his face and pressing a big, wet kiss to his cheek. It made him blush slightly, and she smiled at that as she turned his face for a proper kiss.
"Thank God." Dustin fired back, but they both could tell that he was hurt.
"He's joking," Y/N rolled her eyes as she broke away from the kiss.
"I'm not," Eddie shook his head, arm wrapped around Y/N and pulling her close, the other hand resuming rubbing up her thigh now that she had let go of his wrist.
"Eddie," She sighed, frowning. She knew she could get him to stop acting up, the same as she knew Eddie was joking. "You talk about Dustin, like, all the time." She tried hard to keep her pouting look as Eddie looked at her like she had just stabbed him in the back.
"You know my name?" In all truth for Dustin's question, she had figured it out in the combination of what Eddie has told her and what she remembered of the boys when she would tutor Nancy. Which, as she thought about it, was more her helping Nancy with some homework and then talk about the boys at school.
But, Dustin won't know that, and neither will Eddie.
"Of course. Eddie talks about all of you." She smiled at the group, who was looking at her and Eddie with confusion.
"He does?" Dustin asked, hope filing his voice even as he tried to act cool.
"No," Eddie removed one hand from Y/N's thigh to hold a finger out, trying to take control of his club once more. "No, I don't. And if I do, it's about Hellfire." Eddie looked back with pleading eyes at Y/N.
"Oh, Eds," She whispered, petting back his hair as if he were a child. Mike and Lucas shared a look at how annoying it was that Eddie still looked at her with big, soft, eyes. "Please, just reinvite Dustin." She put a hand on Eddie's chin once more, giving him a quick kiss.
"We don't even have a date set." He whined, his hand squeezing her thigh. She sighed, looking at the table that still had everyone's stuff and the empty container of cookies.
"Why don't you finish your game and then we'll go home and talk about wedding plans." She suggested, the boys watching as Eddie sighed and nodded.
"You heard the woman!" He yelled when the boys continued to just stare.
"What just happened?" Mike muttered, blinking. Sure, he had been in a relationship with El for awhile, but this was something completely different. Eddie seemed to be wrapped around Y/N's finger.
They went through the rest of the campaign, with Y/N cheering everyone on and giving Eddie good luck kisses for part of it, getting sleepy as she continuously shifted onto Eddie's lap even more; he was grabbing her up and making sure she was as close as possible, somehow shifting closer every time. Everyone was shocked that Y/N knew what she was talking about, that she knew was she was doing.
"You're looking at a founding member of Hellfire, boys." Eddie smacked a kiss onto Y/N's cheek, loving the way she grinned and curled into him.
"There's no way." Even Gareth was surprised at this, and Y/N just rolled her eyes.
"She helps with every campaign." Eddie shrugged, smiling because he was finally getting to share his girl with his boys.
An hour later they were done, and Y/N was practically asleep by the time the last dice roll - she was completely straddling Eddie's lap now, her head resting on his shoulder and his arms around her ass, keeping her dress from flipping up and flashing everyone.
"I can't believe she has him wrapped around her finger." Mike whispered to Lucas and Dustin as he stared at the two on the throne while continuously putting his stuff away. Y/N had her cheek pressed against Eddie's chest now, hair covering her face mostly. Eddie was pushing her hair back, looking at her lovingly, the same he had all night.
"I bet she even tops." Dustin said nonchalantly as he slid his binder into his bag.
"Dude!" Lucas and Mike both yelled, grossed out at the thought of the couple having sex. Before Dustin could say anything back, Eddie was ready to kill them.
"Hey!" He whisper yelled, getting their attention. "Shut the fuck up!" He gestured slightly to the sleeping girl in his arms, who was moving slightly.
"Sorry," Lucas whispered, looking away quickly.
"Don't think I didn't hear you little shits talking about my sex life." Eddie grumbled, settling back into his throne and going back to being obsessed with the girl in his arms.
"We're never getting his full attention again." Dustin muttered as the three of them stared at the couple on the throne. Everyone else was leaving, muttering shit at Eddie as they left. Eddie didn't even nod, probably because he couldn't be bothered to know what they were saying anyway.
"So, when's the next meeting?" Mike asked, barely loud enough for Eddie to hear.
"When have I ever told you that at the current meeting, Wheeler?" He asked, not even looking up at the boys as he stared at his girl.
"You know you're gonna have to wake her up so she can drive back home?" Dustin asked, and Eddie looked up at them, eyes wide in anger, and took a deep breath.
"Henderson, you are so goddamn lucky that my wife is asleep on me because otherwise I would be strangling you with my bare hands." The strength that it took Eddie to not scream was immense, but he made it with an even voice and was able tp keep Y/N asleep.
"She's not your wife," Again, Dustin with the pushing boundaries.
"Get the fuck out." Eddie grumbled, staring them down as they left.
"You're gonna get us kicked out one of these times." Mike said as they walked through the hallways.
"I give it two weeks from now." Lucas nodded with a sigh, making Dustin groan.
"You guys have no faith in me!"
Meanwhile, Y/N was waking up with Eddie.
"You gotta be easier on those kids." She muttered, having only been partly asleep the whole time.
"Didn't you hear what they were saying?" Eddie asked softly, looking down and rubbing her back. It was enough to make her want to go back to sleep.
"Eddie, they're not even teenagers." She sighed, moving to sit up. "They think I'm the one in charge." She smiled, watching Eddie smirk.
"They're fourteen." He muttered, a hand going to her neck to stroke her skin.
"They clearly know nothing." She was still smiling, eyes droopy from sleep.
"Clearly, if they think you top." It was almost a joke, almost enough to make them laugh as Eddie ran his finger along the collar of her dress, one that was barely hiding the marks Eddie had made on her on the last night. "What if you just went home with me. I can bring you to pick up your car tomorrow." He was practically begging, so she nodded, getting ready to stand.
"We need to set a date for our wedding." She told him, grabbing his hand after he swept all his D&D stuff into his bag.
"You're already my wife," He used her hand to pull her forward and kiss her, thumb rubbing against the ring on her finger. It was smaller, because he failed senior year twice and sold drugs for a living, but obviously Y/N didn't seem to care.
"We still need a ceremony." She said as they parted, pulling him out the door. The ceremony was solely for her benefit, because they had already gone to the courthouse and gotten married a couple months ago anyway. They didn't tell anyone because they were both young, and Eddie was still technically in high school and it would mean reliving the shit they went through when the town found out that the girl who graduated in three years and the boy who couldn't graduate were dating.
"Do we?" Eddie asked running forward to open the door for Y/N. She smiled and felt her cheeks heat up as he did so, squeezing his hands in thanks.
"You already told your friends," She shrugged, smile on her face when he realized that telling the boys that he was getting married had suddenly backfired on him as his girl used it against him.
"Fuck them," Eddie grunted as he opened the van and the couple got in.
"Fuck them all," Y/N repeated with a large smile as he started the van and then backed up, grabbing her hand and putting it on the stick shift so that he could shift and hold her hand at the same time.
"Fuck them all." His voice was low, and they both knew that she was talking about more than the kids, more than his friends and her friends and their wedding. They were talking to everyone who talked about them behind their backs, who judged their relationship without knowing either of them.
So yeah, fuck them all.

Eddie would have to wait until his lunch break to see this new, hot, weird chick. He wondered which flavor of weird she was. Art weird? Theater weird? Band weird? Weird weird? He shrugged. He liked weird. In other words, you’re the new girl in town, and Eddie is intrigued.

The school’s basketball team had been gunning for a state championship, and no one would shut up about it. Banners exclaiming Go Hawkins! hung in the hallways. Go Tigers Go had been written on the main office’s windows in orange and green chalk markers.
During lunch, jocks whooped like howler monkeys. Their chirping sneakers and laughter pierced the hush of the library. Despite teachers issuing lukewarm warnings, a few even dared to dribble a basketball in the hallway.
On Wednesday, Eddie shared an exasperated look with you while O’Donnell assured two jocks the next test wouldn’t be until after spring break. The jocks high-fived each other.
At that point, you’d wanted them to lose just so they would pipe down.
However, they didn’t.
The radio DJ announced the Tigers had won against Christian Academy last night. You groaned as you turned the car onto the ramp leading to the school’s parking lot. Students swarmed from buses and cars. Teachers directed them to the gym.
That meant another pep rally — which no. Hell no. You’d been dragged to one last week during Western Lit — and that had been enough pep for the school year.
You claimed a parking spot at the side of the building. That afforded you options, whether that was smoking a couple of Djarums at Eddie’s picnic table or hiding in the bathroom. You checked your purse to find you’d forgotten the cigarettes, your lighter, and your watch.
“Fuck.”
Hiding in the bathroom, it was.
Grabbing your purse and backpack, you locked your car before heading inside. Fortunately, the halls on this side of the building were deserted — and your locker wasn’t far. The marching band’s bright music echoed through the building as you unloaded the backpack’s contents in your locker.
Male voices laughed from a nearby junction. You glanced their way, seeing first the Hellfire t-shirt, then Jeff’s familiar face. You turned to your locker with the hope its door would hide enough of you. With another peek around the door, your gaze snagged on Eddie. He hung back from the group, watching you. Swaying above him was a banner that said ALL THE WAY — TIGERS 86.
Yeah, all the way. You’d gone all the way, alright.
Your hands trembled as you grabbed what you’d need for your first two classes and closed the locker. Dammit, you shouldn’t be so shaken. It was only Eddie, who distracted you and made you laugh and nearly broke your heart. Your stomach swooped when you noticed the way the t-shirt clung to his torso. You’d held onto those shoulders, clawed at that back, and kissed down that chest. His jeans hugged his thighs, too. You’d been between those thighs—
You wanted him too much. You needed to retreat.
Fuckity fuck—
No, you couldn’t think about that: the act or his cock.
He said your name as you scurried in the opposite direction. Your long skirt flapped around your ankles. You almost hiked it to get away faster. His rapid footsteps gained on you by the second.
A short connector-hallway was on your left. You darted into it, heart in your throat. There was a ladies’ bathroom on the right. If you moved quick enough, you’d disappear, and he’d never be the wiser.
You rushed to the bathroom door, swung inside, and shoved the heavy door to the jamb.
You could lock it, just in case, but the noise. He’d hear the click and know you were inside. You backed from the door and around the tiled barrier.
You rested against the other side of the barrier, clutching your books to your chest and straining to hear his footsteps pass. Your pulse thudded high in your neck.
A moment ticked by with nothing. Maybe he hadn’t seen you turn into the hallway. No, that was impossible. He’d been close behind when you had. Maybe you’d been successful in evading him…
A tinge of disappointment surfaced at the thought.
The bathroom door creaked open.
You held your breath as your gaze shot to the dull floor.
“You know, I can see your reflection,” said Eddie.
You looked at the mirror above the nearest sink, seeing him in it. You sighed; your shoulders slumped. At the same time, a trickle of silvery, twisting warmth grew in your gut.
You hadn’t evaded him after all.
“Why aren’t you at the pep rally?” you asked, and headed for the row of sinks to balance your books on a sink ledge.
“Why aren’t you?”
The door clanked shut behind him, then its lock schnicked into place. You met the eyes of Eddie’s reflection. You recognized his dark-eyed, steady expression, had seen it after Halloween. He wanted you. He thought of sliding deep inside you. Your cunt gave a single throb as you remembered him bending you over and eating you out. He could do that here: direct you over the sink, flick your skirt over your hips, pull your underwear to mid-thigh, and bury his gorgeous face between your legs.
He approached you, somehow predatory yet cautious. It made you want to give in. You couldn’t give in, though. There was still a month until the Battle of the Bands. He’d said he wanted space until then. However, he’d already brushed aside that space at New Year’s. It’d been a weakness on your part to have given in.
You said, “You shouldn’t be in here.”
Because you were weak for him. You were crumbling. You’d missed him so much.
“Maybe not,” he said, while drawing closer. “But I am. So, what’re you going to do about it?”
“I should turn you in.” You pivoted to face him, hands braced on the sink edge. “Tell the principal.”
“He hates me.”
“I know. He’ll ruin this senior year, too.”
Eddie looked coy as he asked, “You wouldn’t do that to me, though, would you?”
You wet your bottom lip and glanced at his mouth.
“No.”
Instead of replying, he captured your lips in a greedy kiss. Though inappropriate, you welcomed it. Kissing was better than distance and certainly better than a stupid pep rally. He kissed your mouth open with a soft groan. His tongue, faintly tasting of toothpaste, met yours.
Then your hands were in his hair; his were on your hips. He sucked at your bottom lip, making you whimper and your knees go weak. Heat poured down your body to concentrate below your navel. It intensified when he pressed closer.
He smelled of leather and cigarettes and soap. You wanted to eat him alive.
You nibbled on his lip and soothed it with kisses. His face was a mask of pure hedonistic delight with his full lips parted and eyes closed. You could see that expression every day and never tire of it. He deserved to feel good — and you wanted to make him feel good.
He hitched one of your thighs over his hip. His touch went from muffled by your skirt to downright electric with skin on skin. You gasped, meeting his intense gaze, yet didn’t fight. He straddled your other thigh and ground against your belly. His callused hand slid to your ass, fingertips sneaking under the leg of your underwear.
Despite the thickness of denim, little was left to the imagination. His hot erection pulsed as you hooked your leg around him. You angled your pelvis onto his leg. Your pussy dragged against his firm thigh. The friction of your underwear on your clit was almost too much to bear.
Then he pulled you tight until the pressure ground your clit on your pubic bone.
You arched with a groan when he rocked.
“God, you have no idea how bad I wanna pull your panties to the side and fuck you.”
You dug your nails into the shoulders of his vest.
Breath caught in your throat, you said, “Don’t say things like that.”
However, it was tempting. Damn the consequences. You wanted him raw. You wanted to feel every silky, veined inch of him stretching you open.
“If we weren’t in school, would you let me?”
He trailed delicate kisses up your neck. You tilted your head.
He whispered in your ear, “Would you?”
You couldn’t answer. If you did, you wouldn’t stop imagining it: the salt of his sweat, the slap of his skin against yours, the feel of his strong hands digging into your flesh as he pounded inside you. You’d give in, tear open his jeans, and fuck yourself on his cock.
You grabbed his hair and maneuvered him for a hot, open-mouthed kiss. He moaned into it as he thrust his hips. His velvety tongue slipped over yours, encouraging you to move with him. You held his shoulder and his smooth jaw. It seemed impossible to put into words how much you’d missed him, so you said it with your body.
You held him close, pulled him in with your thigh, and kissed him harder.
He responded in kind, making you feel like you were the only person in the world for him. The antiseptic smell of the bathroom, and the reason you were locked in there with him, dissolved to nothing. It was only you and him, sharing breath and warmth and pleasure.
The bathroom door rattled. You both started and broke the kiss to look at the door, his cheek on yours.
Softly, he said, “It’s okay. It’s locked.”
“I know, but we have to get to class.”
“Or we could skip.” He leaned away to study your face. “Your parents home?”
They weren’t, but that didn’t mean they wouldn’t come home for lunch.
“No, but…” You lowered your leg from around his hip, skirt going with it. “We can’t.”
He smirked with a shrug of his shoulder.
“Worth a shot.”
You grinned and shook your head.
“Incorrigible.”
“That’s my middle name.”
“Edward Incorrigible Munson, huh?”
“Yep.”
“I like it,” you said before moving in to kiss him a last time.
He hummed against your lips in approval. His arms wrapped around your back, holding you securely. He straightened and took you with him. You clutched at his shoulders as he slanted his head to deepen the kiss.
The bell rang, making you jolt. You didn’t know if that was for the beginning of first period or the five-minute break before.
“Crap, we’re going to be late.”
He hid his face under your jaw.
“Don’t care.”
“I can’t be late to Trig.” You prodded his shoulders. “Eddie, I mean it.”
He grumbled, placing a kiss on your neck. It melted your resolve a little. A few minutes either way wouldn’t matter. Everyone would be too excited by the pep rally to care.
He released you with a playful sigh. You turned to the mirror and attempted to make yourself presentable. Your lips were swollen, lip balm gone, and clothes askew. Over your shoulder, Eddie fluffed his hair and righted his jacket and vest. His lips were swollen as well, high color painted his cheeks.
“I got Hellfire tonight. Last session for the campaign,” he said, adjusting the crotch of his jeans. “But I could stop by your place after…”
“I don’t think I can sneak you in.”
Before the attack, you would’ve been able to with no problem. Now, not so much. Studying your magic books was on your to-do list for break — along with a few minor household improvements Mom wanted to tackle.
“Okay, well…” He worried at his bottom lip. “How about lunch or something tomorrow?”
“I’d like lunch or something tomorrow.”
A smile lit his face, making his make-out glow even more radiant.
“I’ll call you,” said Eddie as he bounced backwards to the door.
You gathered your books and followed him.
“Wait,” you said, remembering: “I’m running errands with my mom after breakfast, so how about I call you when I’m done?”
“Sounds good. You ever been to Mac’s Drive-in?”
With a shake of your head, you replied, “No.” You’d never heard of it and assumed it was outside of town.
“They have the best chili cheese fries.”
“Sounds good.”
He took hold of the door handle and flipped the lock.
“Be careful.” You inched behind him. “We don’t want anyone seeing us.”
He stepped aside and cracked the door, saying you should check.
You peeked in either direction. A few people hustled through the main hallways. The coast was clear, so you stepped out of the bathroom. You lingered across the hall by the drama club’s eye-searing bulletin board, which advertised Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat coming in April.
Eddie sauntered beside you to study the board.
“Would it be ironic to attend?” he asked with a nod.
“It would’ve been more ironic to be cast.”
“Well, there’s still time.”
You snorted and nudged him with an elbow. His eyes sparkled with something. He put a hand to his chest as he backed away.
Then he sang in a terrible French accent, “Those Canaan days! We used to know! Where have they gone?”
You moved closer, eyes wide, while trying to keep the smile from your face.
“This is how we get caught.”
He spun to the side, throwing out his arms.
“Where did they go?”
You laughed, “Eddie, shut up!”
“Eh bien, raise your berets!”
He shooed you towards the opposite end of the hallway. You walked backwards as you mouthed ‘tomorrow.’
He nodded and continued, “To those Canaan days!”
You reached the corner as he sang, “Do you remember those wonderful parties?”
From Eddie’s side of the building, someone called, “Oh la la!”
.
Your head hurt beyond a normal headache. Your temples and face throbbed. The muscles at the back of your skull wouldn’t loosen. Nothing from the medicine cabinet had dulled the pain, nor had turning off the lights and music.
You’d tried an ice pack on your nape and stuck your head in the freezer. When that had no effect, you wet a washcloth with warm water for your forehead. That hadn’t helped, either.
Something about the headache made you want to flee into the woods. Like an injured animal looking for shelter. You wanted to hide, but you knew whatever this was would pursue. There was no escape. You were locked in here with it.
You lay on the cool floor of your bedroom. Pressing your fingers over your eyes, you commanded the headache to go away.
Go away.
It didn’t. It persisted until it overtook everything. It buzzed in your ears like insects. You couldn’t feel the floor, couldn’t feel your limbs. It nipped at your mental heels, hounding you to some unforeseen destination.
You didn’t want to go. You didn’t want to die — because surely that was where it steered you.
With a snarl, you pushed back. You shook off the maggots and flies that wished to bury themselves in your flesh. You wouldn’t die like this. You weren’t fodder for whatever this headache was.
It fought you, clawing at your brain. Talons hooked in the seams of your skull. It wrenched your head to expose your vulnerable neck.
You turned onto your side, but that made everything worse. The meat of your body twisted while your bones remained still. You heaved and twitched as it forced you supine.
A scream not your own pierced the night.
Your mouth opened as caustic ruptures eclipsed the pain: one, two, three, four, five.
They bled and bled and bruised and drained. Bitter energy coursed through your veins. It burned like road flares, burned like death itself.
You choked as you went beyond the pain. Your eyes opened to darkness. It knit around you like a tenacious spider’s web. You scratched at it, nails snapping, until the darkness tore apart.
You hit the floor, head bouncing on the hardwood. Your lungs pumped as though you’d been running a marathon. As you caught your breath, you patted yourself down. Everything was normal. Your bones and nails remained intact and whole.
And the pain was gone.
.
You’d awoken this morning and reached for the telephone. You’d wanted to call Eddie last night, too, but then you’d remembered Hellfire. He probably wouldn’t have been home. If Wayne had picked up, you wouldn't have known how to explain to him why you sounded upset.
Something involving magic had happened last night, no doubt. Eddie knew magic was real, but that didn’t mean he’d told Wayne. Actually, you were sure Eddie had told no one.
You now sat diagonally from Mom at the kitchen table as you ate breakfast. Your father cycled between eating his buttered bagel, browsing the Saturday paper, and watching the Bloomberg channel on TV. On a garden-center flier, Mom circled shrubs and flowers she might want to plant around the property. You’d suggested rosemary by the deck stairs, miniature roses on either side of the garage door, and planters of lavender by the front door.
Mom wasn’t convinced on the planters by the front door, but you thought she’d change her mind if she saw ones she liked.
You took another bite of your bagel. The crust was all wrong, too smooth and not crackly enough. You missed New York bagels and the golden-toasty-yeasty scent of a decent bakery. The bakeries in Hawkins were okay, but they catered to… well, people who didn’t know good bagels.
Once you and Mom finished breakfast, you went to the garage to fold the tarps into the trunk of her car. She kissed your father goodbye. He looked content for once and wished you happy shopping.
Mom cracked the car windows and turned up Fleetwood Mac for the drive. The fresh air ruffled your hair and had you remembering sharing Djarums with Eddie. You wished you could smoke one now, but Mom wouldn’t approve of your dirty little habit. Though she might not have such a problem with Eddie. He was cute and charming and talented.
Perhaps you could introduce him to her before going to lunch. It could be quick. Just a ‘this is the guy who saved me when I sleepwalked’ kind of introduction. You’d run the idea by Eddie when you called today.
At the garden center, the atmosphere was weirdly tense. You picked out two hardy rose bushes and placed them on the platform cart. Mom was examining a baby rosemary. A few older ladies talked amongst themselves on the other side of the display table. Nevertheless, it was impossible not to overhear their conversation.
“—such a trashy place. It’s not surprising.”
“No, it isn’t! They should’ve bulldozed that trailer park years ago,” said another one before leaning in. “I can only imagine what led to this latest episode.”
You met Mom’s gaze as you attempted to keep a neutral expression. There was only one trailer park in Hawkins. Eddie must be freaking out if something happened in his neighborhood.
“Oh, probably some drug deal gone awry. Young people these days are always stoned,” the first one said with a flap of her hand.
To hide your agitation, you crouched to inspect the roses. There could be more than one drug dealer in Forest Hills, you assured yourself as you rubbed a glossy leaf between your fingers. This gossip might not be true and didn’t have to involve Eddie. He’d been at school last night playing D&D, anyway.
A third said, “I wonder who the victim is.”
“I think by Sunday night we’ll all know — and who the guilty party is.”
Victim? Guilty party? Had someone been attacked?
You straightened, stepped closer to Mom, and asked, “Did you see anything about this in the paper?”
“I didn’t bother with it today.”
You nodded and plucked a random rosemary from the array. It looked healthy enough.
“You okay?” Mom asked.
You nodded again. Jumping to conclusions wouldn’t solve anything or make you feel better. You’d call Eddie when you returned home. He’d tell you what he knew.
As you both headed up the aisle, Mom asked, “Do you think there’s been a shooting?”
“I… I don’t know.”
“That seems so unthinkable in a town like this.”
You hummed in agreement, though you didn’t share her opinion. Hawkins was fucked up. That fucked-up-ness was sure to manifest in mundane ways.
At home, you helped unload the car, shake the soil from the tarps and store them. Your father had disappeared into his office, yet had left the newspaper folded on the kitchen table. Mom said she’d peruse the front page to see if anything unusual had been reported. You went to call Eddie in the privacy of your room.
Without bothering to remove your jacket or shoes, you went straight to your phone and dialed his number. The line rang and rang until you gave up.
He should be expecting your call. He never missed your calls.
Of course, if something had happened near his place, he might be giving a statement to the police. That took a long time — especially if the police wanted to speak with most of Forest Hills. Besides, it was only half past noon.
You got comfortable and sat at your desk to take notes from a book on magic. Your eyes kept darting to the phone. Something wasn’t right. Eddie wouldn’t want to give a statement. Wayne probably would, just to get the cops to leave. At least, that was the impression you’d gotten from your brief interaction with him.
By the time five o’clock rolled around, you were ready to vibrate out of your chair. Your notes were disjointed and would have to be redone. You went downstairs for something else to do and turned on the living room TV. It was tuned to Channel 9. The top news story was the discovery of a dead Hawkins High student in Forest Hills, where a correspondent was reporting.
You recognized the white trailer behind the correspondent. It was the Munson’s. Policemen went in and out of the open main door. The broadcast cut to the studio, where the newscaster clarified the report had been recorded earlier in the day.
You couldn’t think of one person Eddie, or Wayne, would kill. Eddie could be a dickhead sometimes, but he wasn’t a murderer. He could’ve been defending himself. Maybe a deal had gone wrong. Or maybe he’d had nothing to do with it and someone had killed a person in front of him.
In that case, he would’ve been kidnapped and murdered in the woods somewhere. You couldn’t recall if his van had been parked by the trailer…
No, you would’ve felt his death. You weren’t that mundane to not feel something like that.
As commercials played, you wondered if you were strong enough to cast a tracking spell. That typically took a personal item from the person being tracked. You still had his ring on a necklace, of course, but you’d been wearing it since Christmas. It might not have a trace of his energy anymore.
Mom interrupted your train of thought by announcing dinner was almost ready. You turned off the TV and went to the powder-room to wash your hands. When you came out, your parents were talking about the dead student. Your father wasn’t concerned, because people die every day. Mom agreed to a point, but everyone was talking like this was a homicide.
“Know any rotten apples at school?” your father asked you when you sat at the kitchen table.
By your father’s definition, Eddie would be a rotten apple. There were plenty at Hawkins High, but Eddie wasn’t one of them.
“Not personally.”
He harrumphed before leveling Mom a look.
You remained quiet as spaghetti with a hearty meat sauce was served. It smelled of oregano and pepper, but you weren’t interested and took half of what you normally would. Your parents continued talking about the myriad of circumstances around the death: lovers’ quarrel, argument taken too far, overdose, drug deal gone wrong, ritual sacrifice.
“Ah, yes,” your father said in jest. “Satan in the suburbs.”
Mom tittered at such a ridiculous idea.
You grinned to disguise the thread of panic at the idea. Witches had been associated with Satan for centuries, but you’d never evoked him. You wouldn’t rely on any entity for your power. Because they all had agendas, and you didn’t want to be a pawn. However, no one — not even your parents — would appreciate your stance if they found out what you were.
You opened your mouth to say you thought the situation must be a misunderstanding, but stopped short. Your father would make you defend your idea, like this was a case in court. He’d appoint himself lawyer for the other side, jury, and judge.
Instead, you twirled spaghetti on your fork and let your parents talk.
After the sun set and you’d retreated to your room, pain sliced into your head. Your heavy stomach churned so abruptly, you wondered if you should make a dash from your desk to the bathroom. Covering your mouth with a hand, you breathed deep through your nose.
It was similar to last night. Death had you by the throat. You smelled the cloying, steaming rot of it. Your fingers went numb as if you’d been pummeling at something for hours. The desk light dimmed until you could no longer read the book before you.
Everything became heavy. You couldn’t lift your head. Your muscles weren’t strong enough to lift you from the chair. You ordered your body to move, yet it wouldn’t. Even the hand at your mouth wouldn’t obey.
Icy pressure squeezed at your chest. Instinct compelled you to drive it back. You wouldn’t be suffocated in your own bedroom by nothing.
For the first time, you prayed. You didn’t know to whom. All you asked for was strength. You needed strength to conquer this thing. Because if it was going to happen every night, it would kill you. And you couldn’t die yet. Your attacker was still out there. Eddie was missing. You were so close to graduation.
The book you’d been reading clattered across your desk. Its pages stirred, then rippled. You silently requested a solution. Light returned to the desk lamp. The book came to rest, a short spell on the right page: The Veil of Undeath

If life had led you in any other direction, you knew you would have been in love by now. It was a crazy thought, one you had in just the right moments. When the wind blew against your skin on a hot summer’s day, when the rain hit for the first time in the summer and was crazy electric. When you saw Sixteen Candles for the first time and immediately knew a love like that could never be yours.
Not that you didn’t know love, how to get it, or even been in a relationship. You’d done all those things, but it felt so foreign now. It was like your childhood, most of which you remembered through photographs and other people’s stories. It was there, in the back of your mind. Somewhere.
“Earth to Y/N,” Dustin waved his hand in front of you, making you swat at him as you turned off Family Videos’ copy of Valley Girl.
“Steve is in the back,” you told him, leaning on the counter.
“I didn’t come here for him.”
“Shocker,” you rolled your eyes, standing back up. “What do you want?”
“Do you guys have any scary movies?”
“You’re like eight-“
“Thirteen.”
“-what are you doing wanting a scary movie?” You paused as you came around the counter, crossing your arms to stare at him.
“Is Robin in the back too? At least she’d give me decent service,” he looked toward the back of the store.
“Hey,” you patted him on the head, a little too roughly for his liking, as you passed by him to head to the horror section. “That attitude will get you no where you know.”
“Yeah yeah,” he huffed. “I need something super scary, it’s for-“
“Henderson, how long’s it take to grab a damn movie?”
The barrier in your mind shattered. The voice all too familiar to you all of a sudden, your breath catching in your throat. It felt like years suddenly changed to mere minutes. The pain you felt your sophomore year of high school (and all the way through to graduation) was suddenly a stone’s throw away and was getting closer. It’s name was Eddie Munson.
He was a senior your sophomore year and you thought he could probably walk on water. Your freshman year you knew of him, saw him passing in the halls. You knew him the same way you’d known Steve or Robin, barely putting a name to a face. Your life was all-consuming at the fresh age of 14, but sophomore year changed everything.
Eddie Munson was not quiet, not in the slightest. It didn’t click until you realized you shared a lunch period together. He sat at the head of his table, talked a lot of shit, and was quick to watch chaos ensue. The more you watched made you realize he was all bite and no bark, and there was no way he was as scary as everyone made him seem.
You beat him to lunch the next day, sat right next to his seat, and waited. He was the last of his friends to arrive, but you’d already been speaking to Jeff and Gareth when he finally sat down.
“Well what do we have here?” He teased, sliding into his seat. You met his eyes and watched as the dark brown melted into something lighter.
“Y/N,” you stuck your hand out to him. “Sophomore, loser, and in desperate need of friends.”
“Eddie,” he shook your hand, though he was smirking now. “But Hellfire isn’t a charity, we don’t just take in stray sheep.”
“You do now,” you shrugged, finally pulling your hand from his. No more words spoken to each other. Actually, it seemed like he was kind of annoyed with your presence. Just like you thought, he did nothing about it. He was just there and watched you.
He may not have spoken to you, but he was still at a table with his friends. He was passionate, loyal, flirtatious, charismatic. Eddie was your first crush.
He was also your first boyfriend. By the time winter break had come and gone, you two were friends. A weak term that didn’t even begin to include your unnecessary debates, obvious tension, and unresolved requited feelings. Even after becoming an official member of Hellfire, the two of you were always back and forth. He talked a lot of shit and you always called him out on it.
“You know, this movie isn’t even scary,” he said one night, referring to The Shining that was playing on his TV. You were on the couch next to him, closer than when you started because he kept moving closer.
“No shit,” you told him, turning to look at him. “It’s a little weird, but it’s no The Hills Have Eyes.”
“I love that movie!” He sat up straight, turning to look at you.
By now, you were hopeless. He was funny and kind, even if he was simultaneously an asshole. But he also had pretty brown eyes and a sweet smile, and even sweeter laugh. He was an excellent guitarist and passionate dungeon master. One day you had realized that his lips looked far too inviting. It was an understatement really, because Eddie Munson was absolutely beautiful.
“Sweetheart?” He poked your forehead, leaning forward as your eyes regained focus on his. “Where’d you get lost at in my story?”
“You were telling a story?” You confessed, watching him try and fail to hide a smirk.
“Were you gawking at me, L/N?” He teased, touching your cheek again. Your body betrayed you, leaning into his touch.
“Oh, you’ve totally got a crush on me,” he said, though he didn’t move his hand away. It cupped your cheek while he held your gaze.
“You’ve got a crush on me, too,” you told him. “Otherwise you would have already rambled about how much you don’t like me.”
“Aren’t you lucky?”
“Munson,” you placed a hand on his thigh. “Are you going to kiss me or what?”
Your first kiss happened simultaneously as redrum was written.
Those moments weren’t what your brain remembered first. It remembered the rain on a March evening, parking outside Eddie’s. It remembered the fight you had, that started over whether or not he had a thing for a cheerleader named Chrissy. It escalated, just got worse and worse.
“Eddie, all you do is stare at her!” You argued, smacking your hands against the counter as you took a few breaths. The thunder sounded once more, a little closer than thirty minutes ago.
“As if you’re not staring at the basketball team,” he scoffed.
“How could I, when all I do is stare at you!” You turned around to look at him. “Dammit Eddie, you don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“And you do?” He laughed, a vicious and cruel laugh. “You’re barely sixteen, what do you know?”
“Why is me being sixteen such a big deal to you?” You shook your head. “You didn’t have a problem with our age difference when you kissed me. Or when we went to the movies. Or when you would hug me after Corroded Coffin got off stage at that shitty bar. You turned eighteen literally three weeks ago and we were fine. So what’s the deal, Munson?”
“You act like a child!” He exclaimed, all frustration leaving him as he yelled. “You’re some dumb, know-it-all kid that thinks it’s cool to be with the freak.”
“It’s cool because you’re cool, Eddie!” You took a step closer to him, which was actually quite a bit of space in his kitchen. He stepped back. “I’m not some kid. You m your girlfriend. I love you.”
“No.”
“What?” You asked, feeling your heart drop.
“I don’t….” He ran his hands over his face. “I can’t do this.”
“Do what?”
“Us!” He groaned. “I don’t love you. I loved the way you looked at me and how you wanted me. But I never, not once, loved you.”
“You don’t,” you took a step backward. “Eddie, I don’t understand.”
“It means I’m breaking up with you,” he crossed his arms, looking at the ground. Your eyes began to fill with tears.
“Eddie, baby, it’s just a fight. You don’t mean that,” you begged.
“I mean it. We’re through,” he walked back toward his room.
You grabbed your things, the thunder loud in your ears. Everything felt stilted, like you were trying to walk underwater. You were soaking wet when you got in your car. It poured out of you, the pain of Eddie Munson, the love of your life, breaking up with you. It killed you, ruined you. You were surprised you made it home between the storm and the tears.
You never sat at the Hellfire table, never played D&D, never went to another band practice nor gig ever again. You nearly failed your sophomore year. You were silently glad he failed and was a repeat senior your junior year.
All it ever amounted to was your staring. Your desperate looks at Eddie “the freak” Munson, someone you knew like the back of your hand, was all you had left of your whirlwind two month relationship. You really had loved him, and you were completely enamored with him. You didn’t date again, and you knew he didn’t either - not even the cheerleader he liked.
You thought that graduating would separate you two, though he was set to graduate the same year as you now. You and Eddie only had a month left before you made it across the stage. You wanted to be rid of him, afraid any interaction would silently kill you. Yet there he stood, ten paces away from you and Dustin.
“Y/N is what takes so long,” Dustin said, completely throwing you under the bus. You grabbed a movie off one of the displays and walked back to the counter, avoiding eye contact with either of them.
“Three dollars,” you mumbled, voice exceptionally monotone. You prayed Steve and Robin would return from the back any moment.
“Y/N L/N, didn’t take you for a Family Video girl,” Eddie said, leaning on the counter as Dustin fished around in his backpack.
“It’s a job,” you replied, eyes still trained on Dustin’s inability to produce three ducking dollars.
“Didn’t you use to work at that record shop?” Eddie continued, tilting his head.
“Sophomore year,” you looked at him then, raising an eyebrow. “Had to quit, some asshole kept coming in.”
“Oh yeah?” Eddie had the audacity to smile at you. As much as you wanted him to disappear, you couldn’t help but revel in the fact that two years had gone by and he remembered you - remembered the job you’d had whilst together. “What made him an asshole?”
“Are you fucking-“
“Got it!” Dustin cut you off as you damn near stabbed Eddie with a pen. He slammed the two dollars and four quarters on the counter with a grin.
“Get out,” you slid the tape to him, putting the money away.
“Finish your thought,” Eddie stood up, tapping his fingers on the counter. Dustin grabbed the movie and slid it into his bag as he watched you and Eddie.
“Okay,” you narrowed your eyes. “Are you fucking serious? You’re the asshole. You broke up with me.” Dustin’s audible gasp made you and Eddie both look at him.
“You… you two dated?”
“You broke up with me,” Eddie argued, frowning. You couldn’t help but laugh.
“You literally can’t be serious. You called me childish, then told me you adored the attention I gave you, but that overall you never even loved me.”
“I didn’t-“ Eddie paused, looking absolutely lost.
“Forget it Munson, it was forever ago,” you came around the counter. “Just get the hell out of the store.”
It was many moons ago, but just like the tide it brought back the hurt. What the were you supposed to do about the fresh wound he created? How were you supposed to sleep when he said he remembered your job, but not how he’d broken your heart? He may be all bark, but god did this lack of love hurt just as bad as a bite.

Steve sighs from his desk at the precinct as he scans through boring paperwork. This is the part of the job he hates. It reminds him of being dragged to his father’s office to “see how the family business is run”. Even as a kid he knew the corporate world wasn’t for him. When he enrolled in the police academy, his mother cried and his dad raged, screaming about how he abandoned his responsibilities. He didn’t care though; he wanted to do something good, not just with his life but for the city around him.
He never expected to fall in love with a criminal nor did he indeed to. To him, Eddie was everything he wasn’t even though the gangster always commented about how similar they both were. After his breakup, Steve hardened his heart and became bitter as he focused solely on the job to avoid the pain he was in. In one 15min car ride, Eddie broke through that barrier and in that moment the officer knew he would do whatever he could to protect him.
His phone vibrated and he grinned when he saw the message was from you.
George Carver is investing in my clinic! Oh my God. I can’t believe he’s still willing.
I can finally get better supplies and give my staff the bonuses they deserve.
That’s amazing, sweetheart! You deserve it. :)
If you need anything else just let me know.
I’m so happy for you, honey. We should celebrate tonight!
I should be out of here on time.
“Steve, there’s a man in interrogation room B asking to speak with you.”
The officer nods towards his colleague, exhaling as he stands and heads that way. When he enters the room, his eyes rake over the seemingly agitated young man as he takes a seat across from him and opens the file that was given to him.
“Gabriel Wiley. I heard you wanted to speak with me.”
“Is that camera still broken? The few times I’ve been in here it was never fixed.”
“Why does it matter, Gabe? Something you don’t want my captain knowing?”
“No…it’s something YOU don’t want him knowing.”
That gets the officer’s attention as he shifts his gaze towards the man in front of him. He wasn’t like the usual people brought in or who came in with a tip that could help. Gabriel was well dressed from top to bottom in an expensive looking suit but seemed as if he had been pulling on it from stress as the tie was missing and the top few buttons were undone.
“I don’t have time for this so if we can get on with it—”
“I need Edward Munson to stay away from Y/N.”
Steve blinked in surprise as he folded his arms and leaned forward.
“How do you know Y/N?”
“Does THAT matter? She’s not safe with him and as his friend I would imagine you would want to keep the peace between everyone.”
“Are you threatening him?”, the officer growled.
“No… but the people I do business with could do some damage to them both and I don’t want that. You have three days, Mr. Harrington.”
As the man stood up, Steve flew from his chair, grabbing the man’s collar, and roughly pushing him against the wall.
“If you hurt either of them, I swear to God, they will never find your body.”
Gabriel nods as if accepting that this will be his fate as he pats the officer’s arms, signaling to let him go.
“Nothing will happen if she stays away from him.”
***
“Stevie, you’re finally here! I got champagne and Y/N put some food in the oven so oddly enough you’re right on time—”
“Do you know this man?”, he interrupts as Steve shoves his phone screen in your face.
“What? No. Why?”
“What about you, Ed?”
Eddie takes the phone and gives it a good once over.
“I’ve never met him but other gangs in town hire low level people all the time. Garth and Jeff know better than to do that on my side. I don’t like having people I don’t know in my organization. Why, babe? What happened?”
The officer sighs as he throws a file on the counter that his boyfriend opens and sifts through.
“Gabriel Wiley came in today asking for me by name and said that you needed to leave Y/N. We had three days or else ‘things would happen’.”
“What THINGS?”, the gangster grumbled low in anger.
“I don’t know. We need to find out who he is working for. It looks like he’s done some petty crimes…did about 6 months in Hawkins Pen…”
“Maybe I should talk to him…since it seems to involve me and he doesn’t want me with you.”
“That may be exactly what he wants. No, Y/N, just stay with me for the time being, ok?”, Eddie practically pleads as you nod.
The three of you try to still celebrate the evening with both men drinking way more alcohol than they should. You knew better, pretending to sip more than you actually were. After they passed out, you slithered out of their hold to scan the file Steve had brought home with him.
Gabriel had been arrested numerous times like the officer mentioned for things like disorderly conduct and theft. He spent 6 months in jail for robbing a store in Eddie’s territory but since then he hasn’t seemingly been in any trouble.
Grabbing your bag, you slipped out of the loft, down the back stairs, and headed for your car.
###############
Gabriel answered the door when you knocked in just his sweats and a shocked expression.
“Y/N, what are you—”
“What are YOU doing, Gabe?”, you asked in annoyance as you pushed past him into his home. “Why are you going to police stations to threaten the life of a gangster?”
“Why are you dating one?!”
“That’s none of your concern! You’re the one who refused to get your life together!”
“Oh, so you upped your game from blue collar criminals to full on murderers?”, he asked as he leaned against the back of his couch.
“Fuck you! I’m finally happy and with someone who cares about me—”
“And I didn’t?!”
You both heavily sigh as you place your hands on your hips.
“Why did you threaten me and Eddie to Steve today?”
“I didn’t threaten you. Someone is upset that you’re with him—”
“Who?”
“I can’t tell you. I’m not even supposed to be talking to you or that cop but… Y/N, I loved you. I never stopped. Even after I went in and you dumped my ass. I told myself when I got out I would grovel at your feet but then things happened…I needed to keep you safe.” His eyes meet yours with sympathy for a moment before they flood with anger. “You need to leave and you need to leave Edward Munson, Y/N, or else.”, he growled as he grabbed your arm and started pushing you towards the front door.
As he swings it open, he gasps as he comes face to face with the gangster himself.
“You know, I had a feeling you were lying when you said you didn’t know him but I’m kind of disappointed that you thought we were stupid enough to fall for the ‘feed them alcohol till they pass out’ trick.” Eddie’s tone seemed calm but even you could tell he was furious.
While you both backed away from him and he slammed the door shut, you backed into a broad chest that genuinely startled you.
“Or else what, Gabe?”, Steve asked as he continued to step forward making the other boy stumble to the side as he backed you into the gangster, his eyes never leaving yours. “She needs to leave Eddie or what?”
“This is…I told you to…to talk to them. This is a bad idea, Steven.”, Gabriel huffed in what sounded like fear.
“You lied to us. Why?” When your jaw clenched in defiance, his fingers pinched your cheeks. As the other man moved to defend you, Eddie pushed him to the ground and placed his boot on his chest. “From what I heard, he sounds like an ex, is that right?”
“Yes.”, you spat.
“Why did you lie?” When you didn’t respond, he backed you into the wall and hovered his face in front of yours. “You are in a lot of trouble so I would skip the theatrics and come clean now. Why did you lie?”
When you push at his chest, his hand comes back around to grab your bicep and pushes you a bit roughly onto the couch. Helplessly you watch as both men grab your ex and throw him on the carpet in front of you as Eddie punches him hard in the face.
“You said someone didn’t like that they were together. Why?”
“Go ahead and kill me. If I tell you everything, I’m dead anyway.”
The gangster hits him again as Steve grabs a chair from the kitchen and places it in front of you as he straddles the back.
“Why did you two break up? I heard him say you left him. Why?”
“Does it matter?”
“It does because we asked. Now I’m starting to get annoyed with having to repeat myself so this is the last time I’m going to ask. Why did you two break up?”
“If you hurt him anymore I’ll leave you both, Steve.”
“B-Both? You’re with both of them?”, Gabe asked in surprise as his head fell back against the floor and he chuckled. “Jesus, this is way worse than I thought. Are you fucking him to?”, he asked Eddie whose eyes darkened at the man’s tone. “Just fucking kill me, Munson. I barely have it in me to kill the woman I love let alone a fucking cop.”
“Gabriel, what are you talking about? Did Jason Carver send you?”, Eddie asked as the man continued to smile before sighing. “Hey! Focus! Who do you work for?”
“Hawkins Penitentiary. Three years ago. Cell block G.”
The gangster’s eyes swiftly met his partner’s as he releases his hold on your ex. Promptly rising to his feet, he flies out the door with Steve following hastily after.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N.”
Leaving the man on the floor, you run after them finding them arguing back and forth as the officer tries to stop Eddie from getting behind the wheel.
“NO! You can’t confront him right now!”
“Steve, this is completely different then the Jason thing. I need to know why. Keep an eye on her and don’t let her leave my place. I don’t care what excuse she gives you. We’ll deal with her when I get back.”
Pausing for a moment, Eddie turns to give his boyfriend a passionate kiss before getting into his car and speeding away.
###############
Steve paces as he waits for his partner to come back. It had been over two hours since Eddie left and the officer was getting restless.
“Steve—”
“Don’t talk. I don’t want to hear it.”
Thirty minutes later the door to the apartment opens as the gangster strides in with heavy shoulders as he sighs.
“Are you ok, honey?”, the man asks as he cups his face in his hands.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I straighten everything out but…”
“Is Gabe going to be ok?” Their eyes shift your way as you rise to your feet and place yourself in front of him. “Eddie…”
“I made a deal to keep you both, well Y/N, safe. I told his employer I’d dispose of him myself.”, he relayed in a calm demeanor as his chocolate hues never left your face. A heavy exhale left your lips as the tears began to flow.
“Please tell me you didn’t…”
“I didn’t. I gave him some money and one of my guys is taking him to the next state over so he can get on a plane to leave the country. He fucked up but I guess we were lucky he was fucking in love with you.” Glancing towards Steve, he continued to relay information. “He was supposed to kill her to get back at me for ‘ruining his business’. Asshole is super fucking petty; always has been. Seems he doesn’t know about you. I’m surprised Jason hasn’t told him.”
“Who was he working for?”
Both men glared your way before the officer produced his handcuffs flashing them in your direction.
“Are you going to answer our questions or are we doing this hard way?”
Fear dances through your eyes before they harden and glare right back.
“You said you would never use those tactics on me. That you would never hurt me.”
“That’s correct.”
Steve lunges forward taking ahold of your arm, clinging to you tightly as you wrestle against him. Eddie drags a chair to the living room where you are placed and restrained as you begin to cry tears of frustration.
“You can say ‘red’, Y/N, and we would stop right now. We meant what we said…we would never hurt you or use those methods to get you to talk but we know other ways.”, the gangster explained as he placed himself on his knees in front of you.
They both waited for you to use the safe word, minutes passing as his eyes scanned your face. After a while, he nodded towards the officer behind you and you listened as he rummaged around the area behind you while Eddie cupped your face in his hands to try your tears.
“Am I allowed to be rough to?”
The gangster couldn’t help but chuckle as his fingers began unbuckling your jeans so he could pull them down.
“You kind of are already by making this harder than it has to be. I don’t understand why you didn’t just tell us the truth. But sure, sweetheart, give us what you got.”
“Don’t mock me.”
“Or what, little girl? What are you gonna do?”
“What is it with you and chairs? Why do you always try and intimidate people in one? Is it so you can feel bigger than them?”
“We can move you to the railing if you’d like so you can stand.” After he nods again behind you, you wait as you feel Steve begin to uncuff you.
“5 bucks, Munson.”
“You’re on.”
You had no idea what they were talking about but as soon as you were free your foot pushed against Eddie’s chest as you bolted for the stairs. Your plan was to gain the upper hand in his bedroom with your back to a wall but you should have known better. Steve did this for a living.
You barely made it two steps before his arms were wrapping around you and pinning you to the floor. As he straddled your waist, he held your wrists down as you tried to wrestle back against his hold.
“Told you.”, he sang.
“I didn’t think she’d actually try and run. Fight back maybe but.”, Eddie laughed as he replaced his boyfriend’s grasp on your arms and dragged you the rest of the way towards the stairs. “Always surprising me, princess.”
Steve restrained you again to one of the rails behind you with your limbs above your head. You continued to try and kick him with your legs but when his hand came down hard on your behind you stopped. Almost too delicately, he removed your panties and you watched as he opened a decorative box, pulling out a new pair. Sliding them up your body, you shivered as the pads of his fingers traced your skin.
You knew immediately something was off as the crotch area of the lace felt a bit heavier than a normal pair of underwear.
“I actually bought this for you a while ago and saved it thinking it would be a fun anniversary present or just something to utilize as you walk around the loft.”, Eddie grins in amusement as he takes a seat in the chair you were previously in. “Now, let’s try this again, Y/N. Why did the two of you break up? He seems to still be in love with you so I imagine you did the dumping.”
Your jaw clenches as you turn your head away from them. Both men sigh as something beeps and the panties you were wearing come to life. As the little vibrations play with your clit, you glare their way again.
“Fuck you.”
“This thing is pretty nifty. I spent a good chunk of cash on it so I’m hoping it makes you feel really good, baby. See, we have this remote here that controls the setting and it can vibrate at 4 different levels. The one you’re feeling right now is that first one.”
Your eye lids flutter at his admission as your defiant features falter slightly. If this was the lowest setting, you were in trouble.
Locking his intense eyes with yours, he presses the next setting.
“Fuck.”
You expect them to throw more questions your way but they remain silent as they watch you get slowly built up before your first orgasm washes over you.
“Why did you two break up?”
As you shake your head, Eddie bumps it up to the next level making you whine. By your fourth orgasm, you were a mess, your legs weakly thrashing about as you tugged on the cuffs around your wrists.
“I’m losing my patience, Y/N, especially since this is the easiest question to answer out of all the ones we have. WHY did you two break up?” Growling in annoyance Eddie began to reach for the next setting before you cut him off.
“NO! No, please. He went to jail. He went to jail.”, you cried as you felt the build up again.
“For robbing a store?”, Steve asked and you nodded.
“What? Couldn’t wait 6 months? Doesn’t really give me hope if I go in.”, the gangster replied sarcastically making you angry.
“It wasn’t his first offence. He had been getting in trouble off and on for years. I warned him! I told him if he got in trouble again I’d leave.”
“For years, huh. How long were you together?” They watched as your head hung as the coil snapped again. “You know what, Ed, I’m kind of hungry. Why don’t we go to kitchen downstairs and come back in about an hour—”
“2 years.”, you cried. “We were friends in college before we-we started dating.”
“Color, Y/N?”
They marveled at your defiance even in your current state as you spit in their direction.
“Green, sir!”
Stomping your way and tired of your attitude, Eddie beckons Steve to release you and as soon as he does you fall into his arms, clinging to his neck as another orgasm ripples through your body.
“Why didn’t you tell us you knew him?”
“Please, Eddie—”
Moving part of the now damp silk out of the way, he slide two of his fingers into your core and pumped them at a fast pace overwhelming your senses as you circled your arms tighter around him.
“He said he still loved you. Do you still love him?”, Steve asked sternly as he kneeled beside you both.
“NO! H-H-How could you ask me that?! After everything I’ve done for you!”
“Then why did you lie?!”
“I didn’t want you to hurt him!”, you shouted as you trembled against him, soaking his fingers.
You feel Eddie move around as you continue to cling to him before the vibration between your legs abruptly stops. Laying your head against his chest, you listen to his heartbeat and use it as an anchor to slow your breathing.
“He worked for my father.” Leaning back, your eyes widen at the gangster’s admission.
“That’s most likely why he never came back to ‘grovel at your feet’.”, Steve added.
“I don’t understand. He only did…little things like…stealing cars and—”
“That’s how my dad started.”, Eddie sighed. “Why do you think he’s so fucking sloppy? Even Gabe was sloppy. Fucking walking straight into a police station to threaten me to a cop? Friend or not that’s a bad idea, not just for himself but for Steve. Probably why my dad’s been using him for small favors. They met during those 6 months, Y/N. He was in a different part of the prison but Allen made a deal with some of the guards to have him moved. He had originally intended to punish him for breaking into a store in ‘his’ territory. He likes to pretend it’s still his in there.”
“As a trade so to speak, instead of killing him they used him to do things on the outside. I wouldn’t know about it because I don’t care about petty crimes like robbery especially since no one got hurt. For things like that, I let Steve do his job.”
“Why…why would your dad want me dead?”
He smirks to himself as he answers.
“Because I’m happy. You see, sweetheart, it REALLY pisses him off that not only am I in charge but I’m a way better leader than he ever was and he knows that. If he had known about Steve, he probably would have sent someone a long time ago. Hopefully not the same guy because as you saw…he couldn’t do it.”
“And he’s not going to kill Eddie because too many people would turn on him including his uncle. Wayne’s not a violent man but he’d kill anyone who hurt his nephew.”
“When I went down there I didn’t tell him Gabriel was your ex but he already knew. Said that the asshole didn’t stop talking about you to grunts that were loyal to my dad. Fucking idiot…”
“Especially for a man preaching that he wanted to keep you safe.”, Steve murmured.
“Which is probably another reason he made a deal with me to kill him. A ‘your life for his’ trade so to speak. Y/N, I need you to understand that it took EVERY ounce of energy for me not to follow through.”
“Why didn’t you?”, you whisper. “Especially since you think I still love him.”
Their jaws clenched at your accusation as Eddie heavily exhaled.
“I told you, little girl. I don’t enjoy killing people. If I don’t have to then I don’t.”
“Yet you wanted to?”
“Of course, I did. He could have gotten you both killed. Gabriel put you in danger and put Steve at risk. In this business, babe, sloppiness like that either puts you in jail like Allen or gets you killed and if I decided to kill him I would still have been able to sleep at night.”
It was your turn for your face to harden once more as you pushed yourself out of their embrace and utilized the rail to get to your wobbly feet.
“Now who’s lying? Do you think I’m stupid? Yeah, maybe, that’s part of the reason you wanted to kill him but I know you, Eddie. I also heard you on that first night. ‘No one touches what’s mine.’ It fucking kills you that he still loves me, doesn’t it? If you could remove the ‘competition’ you would.”
Getting to his feet as well, the gangster stalks towards your pants and panties, tossing them roughly at your chest.
“You want to fucking leave and go be with that asshole? Have at it. Hell, I’ll even drop you off myself. We can take Steve’s cruiser that way we can get you there faster and away from us.”
“What about you, Steven? Could you have killed him out of jealousy?”
“In a heartbeat.” You blinked, taken aback by his answer. “I heard him yell at you saying that you ‘upped your game’ or some bullshit to a gangster but do you know the real reason you stay even though Eddie and I do way worse? Because we fucking care. For three years, Y/N, he’s been doing whatever Allen told him without question yet he supposedly loved you but when you begged him to stop doing what he was doing he didn’t. When he got out, he could have done the same thing Munson just did for him and ran away with you but he didn’t.”
“He didn’t give a fuck about you. I’m sorry, honey, but it’s true. We…” Steve gestures between him and Eddie. “…we do. We could have killed Gabriel. He could have brought him back here and we could have fucking tortured the hell out of him for threatening you but we didn’t because it would have hurt you. You asked us not to so we didn’t.”
“You’re right, Y/N. Like Steve, you are mine and no one hurts or touches what’s mine but that doesn’t mean Iwant to be the one to hurt you. I’m not vindictive like Allen and you’re not my possession. You’re my partner.”
“OUR partner.”
“Now, little girl, you want me to be honest? Here it is. Yes, the thought crossed my mind of following through and killing him especially when I think about him saying he still loves you. When he had his hands on you when he opened the door… He had the audacity to touch you… Fuck, I wanted to break his legs and tear him in half. Steve could have helped hide his body and then remove any evidence that he had any contact with us. I pictured it over and over on the drive back here…but I didn’t…because I love you.”
When your gaze shifted towards Steve, the officer shrugged as he nodded.
“I loved you since the first sassy thing came out of your mouth. I fell in love with you that night after Andrew. You let me take care of you, fell asleep in my arms, and I knew then I didn’t want to let you go.”
“If…If I asked you to give up this life…and run away somewhere with me…would you?”, you ask in a small tone as your head slightly hangs.
You’ve done this dance before and the answer killed you.
“You robbed a fucking liquor store? Why?! What did you need so badly that—”
“Y/N! I don’t have time for this! You’re my one phone call. Now I need you to come bail me out and—”
“With what money, Gabe?! You promised me. You promised me you would shape up and stop doing shit like this!”
“With what money, babe?”, he replies sarcastically. “You think college is fucking cheap? You think a house, marriage, and all that comes free?!”
“Well thankfully none of that is your concern anymore!”
“What?”
“I’m done…”
Gabriel releases a breathy sigh before responding again.
“Y/N, baby, please… I can do better. I’ll be more careful and—”
“Of course.”
Your head shoots up at Eddie’s answer as Steve nods as well.
“I’d never ask you to do that… I know people depend on you here.”
“I know, sweetheart.”, the gangster whispered.
“So, what’s the plan, honey?” You look at the officer in confusion before he turns around and grabs his keys. “Are we driving you to where Gabriel is?”
Your head shakes as the day hits you and you start bawl.
“Can we take a break, please?”
“Yeah, baby. It’s been a rough night. Do you want to go home?”, Steve asks and again you shake your head. Slowly, he walks forward till he’s inches in front of you. “Y/N, are you in that vulnerable headspace we talked about?” When you nod, he lifts you into his arms and you promptly wrap your limbs around him as you rest your head on his shoulder.
You heard the long-haired boy pass you as he went up the stairs and the officer followed with you in tow.
“Honey, do you want to take a bath or anything?”
“I’m sorry I lied.”
“Thank you but, baby girl, that’s not what I asked.”
“I’d like a bath, please.”
You cling to his neck as he holds you waiting for Eddie to finish getting everything together and places you down gently in the warm water. Closing your eyes, you heavily sigh.
“I love you to…both of you…so much. I-I-I’ve wanted to say something before but you two have been together for over a-a year. The three of us have been seeing each other for a couple of months. I didn’t want to scare you off or—”
Fingers grabbed your chin as a cigarette tasting mouth met your own.
“Always be open with us, sweetheart. Always. Say it again…please.”
You chuckle through your tears as he smiles against your lips.
“I love you, Eddie and Steve.”
As their kisses become more heated, you feel yourself becoming desperate to have them make you theirs.
“I want you both…please…”
“Y/N, you need a break.”, the officer chuckles at your earnestness.
“I had one. I’m ok. Please, please, please. I need to feel you both inside of me.”, you purr as your hand strokes his cock causing him to groan a bit.
The gangster leans forward and kisses your shoulder as your breathing halts at the sudden intrusion of his thick fingers in your ass.
“Have you ever done this before?”
“It’s…It’s been a while. Shit, that feels…amazing.”
Steve grins as his lips tenderly run along your chin to your neck and you cling to him as he guides two of his own fingers deep into your cunt.
“Jesus, Eddie. She’s so fucking tight. I don’t think this little pussy can take much more.”
“Nooooooo, Steve. Please.”, you whine. “I can take it. I can take it. I can…”
“Fuck, sweetheart.” Climbing out of the tub, the long-haired boy splashes water everywhere and wraps his arm around your body to lift you off his boyfriend, carrying you haphazardly back into the bedroom. Your soaking wet frames trench his mattress as he lays on his back behind you and situates you with your back to him straddling his waist.
“I’m gonna hold my cock…and you just…lower that sexy ass onto it…as slow as you need to.”, he panted.
Nodding, his length twitches in anticipation as you hold your cheeks open giving him a good view before gradually beginning to take him in.
“Oh. O-oh, Steve?”
“I’m right here, honey. You’re doing so good. I got you.”, he cooed as he rested his palm on your hip in front of you while his other caressed your face. “There you go. Just take your time, pretty girl.”
It felt like an eternity but when your hips finally connected with the gangsters, you carefully leaned your back onto his chest noticing then that his eyes were closed.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah. Just…trying not to cum early.” He smirked when you giggled. “You feel so good, Y/N. Your ass is just fucking choking my dick.”
Steve noticed your pussy flutter at the man’s words and he can’t help himself, leaning forward and licking a long stripe through your folds making you shudder.
Inching towards you two on his knees, he reared back and spit onto your clit, rubbing it in with the tip of his cock, teasing you before he guided himself into your entrance.
“Ah…God fucking damn it. I told you, Y/N…tight.”
Your head fell back as you begun to feel overwhelmed with the feeling of them inside you.
“St-Steve, baby, I-I-I can feel you. Fuck I’m not gonna last long.”, Eddie whined causing the officer to bite his bottom lip as he thrust his hips at a faster pace. “What about you, princess? Are y-you alright?”
You didn’t respond, you could barely catch your breath let alone think. Ringed fingers circled around your throat as your mouth fell open and the officer’s deep voice pushed through the fog.
“He asked you something, little girl. Are you in pain?”
“No.”, you murmur.
“Do we need to stop or slow down?”
“N-No. Please. Fuck me.”
Steve couldn’t help but chuckle as his head hung and both men moved at a faster, harder rhythm. Eddie’s palm looped around to massage your tit as the other boy’s thumb reached down to play with your bundle of nerves.
A sudden feeling you had never felt before ran through your body and crashed into you like a wave. You screamed as you trembled, panting heavily as the coil in your stomach aggressively snapped and your felt something wet drench your lower half.
“Jesus fucking… Christ.”, Steve stuttered as his hips stopped moving and he dug his fingers into your waist as he came.
At the sight above him, Eddie couldn’t hold back any longer as he hugged you to him and with a few more pumps released his seed inside of you.
“D-Did…Did she…?”
“Yeah. Yeah, she did.”
It took them a few seconds to realize you had started to quietly sob into the pillow beside you and as carefully as they could they pulled out of you, moving your hair back so they could see your face.
“Hey, hey. What’s wrong, honey?” Are you ok? Was it too much?”
“T-T-That…That’s never…never happened before… It just…felt so good. Did I ruin the moment?”
“Oh, sweetie. No, no not at all. That’s perfectly normal. Well…not for us…Aren’t you a doctor? You’ve never—OW!”, Steve gasped when his boyfriend smacked his bicep, widening his eyes as if to tell him to shut up.
“Y/N, what my idiot is trying to say is we’ve never made a girl…squirt…before. Geez, it sounds kind of crass doesn’t it?”, Eddie laughs making you softly smile. “You didn’t ruin anything, sweetheart. That was actually really sexy. Did you see what you did to him? Turned him into a teenager again.”
Steve grins as he blushes and lays down in front of you, placing a light kiss on your nose.
“I’m sorry. I hope I didn’t ruin anything.”
“No, you didn’t. I’m, um, I’m really tired though…heavy.”
“I can imagine but we can’t fall asleep with the bed in the state it’s in.”, Eddie jests as he gets to his feet and gently lifts you into his arms. “Babe, I’m going to give her a quick shower. I have some clean sheets in that closet back there.”
The officer bounces out of the bed and kisses his partner before placing a soft one on your cheek as you keen into the gangster’s neck.
You’re so blissed out and exhausted, everything moves in a blur as you feel warm water on your skin, Eddie’s gentle touches, and the comfort of soft, clean sheets.
“I’m sorry I lied to you. I swear I’ll never hurt you like that again.”
Arms circle around you as both men nuzzle their faces into your skin.
#######################
“Please be advised, going into Munson compound in 5.”
Steve’s eyes blink slowly open at the sound of his radio cackling.
“Shouldn’t Harrington be here? This is his case.”
“Well, maybe, he’ll actually answer his phone next time.”
Eddie’s head lifted as their eyes met. Reaching for his phone, he sent a message before getting out of bed and smashing it against the wall.
That startled you awake but Steve’s palm over your mouth silenced you from making any noise. After making a shushing motion with his finger, he pointed towards his radio.
“3 minutes till entry.”
Pushing against your back, he ushered you out of bed and quickly threw some of Eddie’s clothes over your naked body. Once you were situated, he hastily threw on his own clothes, and grabbed his gear along with anything else that would incriminate him as the three of you hurried down the stairs.
Tugging on his hand, you pause as you show them a text message you got around 3am that morning.
“Y/N,
I’m sorry for how things ended with us. I loved you and I was so fucking stupid for letting you go. I should have fought for us but I robbed that store instead. I knew Allen wouldn’t me go and I knew if I ran back to you, he would use you against me like he did with Eddie.
He seems like a good man but I’m sorry, babe. I can’t let him to get you killed.
Don’t be with him in the morning and don’t warn him.
It won’t matter, trust me.
Run, Y/N. Hell, take the cop with you if you have to have one of them but stay away from anything Munson.
You have no idea what they’ve done…what they’re capable of…
I love you,
Gabriel
“You were right…I should have let you--”, you whispered.
Eddie yanked your arm cutting you off and cupped your cheeks as his lips passionately kissed yours.
“One minute to entry. This is it, guys.”
“This isn’t my first rodeo, pretty girl. I’ll be ok. I love you, sweetheart.”
“I love you to.”, you cry as Steve pulls you two apart and pushes you towards a vent he had pried open.
The gangster shrugs, fighting the tears that want to push through.
“I’ll find out what they know. It can’t be much.”
“Enough to storm my building. They’ve never done that before.”
The officer grabs the back of his boyfriend’s neck as they kiss and hug each other tightly.
“Everything’s going to be ok, honey. I promise. I love you so much.”
“I love you to, my paladin.”
After you climbed in, Steve followed and Eddie hurriedly closed the grate behind you two just as a loud explosion filled your ears.
You both watch through the window of metal as the gangster cleared his throat and his face hardened as he listened to the sound of officers screaming as they banged against his front door.
“You’re going to follow me, ok?”, Steve whispers as you nod but as he turns to move, you freeze as you see Eddie raise his hands in surrender and the door loudly bursts open.
Officers scream at him to get on the ground, grabbing him, and pinning him to the carpet as they handcuff his hands behind his back.
“Come on, guys. You know I like it rough but this is ridiculous.”, he joked.
“Shut the fuck up, Munson. You’re in a lot of trouble”, Detective Hopper scolds.
Lightly tugging on your sleeve, Steve motioned for you to follow with the gangster’s sarcastic chuckles echoing behind you.

favorite crime. (Miles morales x reader)
For as long as Y/n and miles could remember they’ve known each other since they were children! Anytime Y/n needed comfort from her two parents constant arguing or miles was just far too stressed, you know they were with each other.
Everyone could see except them, that something was growing and they yearned for each other. That was until there was a shift and something became between them.
Every Sunday Y/n would come over for family dinner, bringing a meal she prepared with the happiest smile….it started with him missing the most important dinner.
“Hola, Mrs.Morales! How are you? I made arroz con leche for tonight, hope you like it!! Where’s miles?”
Rio’s face smiled any chance she could when she saw the way Y/n loved miles, he was always the first one she’d look for.
“Miles!…Miles!”
The mother put her head to her forehead sighing as silence was the only response to her calling.
“Ugh he must be asleep. Go get him please!”
Rio rushed the food to the table setting up her meal.
“Miles…”
Y/n walked in quietly to see an empty room and her whole demeanor changed, for the first time Miles missed dinner.
“I-um miles isn’t here. Maybe he went to go grab something-“
“Miles?! He would never miss a Sunday dinner with you! Must be something super important, you know he wouldn’t do it on purpose hun-“
Jeff gave Y/n hope that, that’s all it was.
“Oh- Hi Mr.morales, you’re probably right!”
They all sat down and began eating their meal, although Y/n enjoyed the moment of calmness compared to her normal home…there was an ache in her heart that something was wrong. Even with all the spider duties Miles promised he’d never miss anything with her.
Those promises were broken. The closer miles got to Gwen, the farther Y/n came to mind. The poor girl would come home soaking wet after waiting for miles at the places he told her to meet him at. All Y/n could do was text him and hope for the best, it was harder to talk to him nowadays. When they did hangout Miles couldn’t be any more distant than he already was.
At least In those small changes when they hung out there wasn’t a deep sadness, maybe boredness from Y/n not being Gwen…but now Miles was hard to hangout with, something was clearly always on his mind and bothering him. It hurt Y/n to see him so frustrated, sad and quiet…so she finally asked him.
“Miles what’s wrong? Is it the spider stuff? You haven’t seemed as happy..”
The boy looked up with a surprised face, it had been so long since they had a genuine conversation that he forgot Y/n knew him like the back of his hand.
“It’s just- ugh it’s Gwen. She’s gone now. I miss her, I need her.”
Y/n’s heart broke hearing the words and behavior miles used to do for her, complain about missing Y/n to his mother. He used to always miss Y/n. However, Y/n was far too kind to deny his clear emotions of frustration right now so she passed a smile.
“It’s ok miles, if she left it’s just because she returned to her world. That’s ok if it means she’s happier.”
Her own words hurt her, she loved miles so much…if he were the rain she would never open an umbrella. Instead, she’d lie down on the concrete and enjoy every drop that laid on her skin, she’d drown there even if it meant drowning in him.
“What? No. She’s the happiest she ever was here! You don’t know her! You don’t get it.”
Y/n’s eyes widened at the anger and yelling Miles was now putting towards her, Y/n was the only one miles could talk about Gwen with and she didn’t get it, not the way he wanted her to.
“Miles..you don’t have to yell I- I do get it! I see it. You’re displaying exactly how you feel for me to know all of it-“
“Just be quiet and go Y/n.”
Y/n’s eyebrows furrowed and tears built up when she turned around to grab her backpack. No matter how upset miles was he never yelled and was never seriously mad at her. He was just so frustrated that it was Y/n there, not Gwen. Miles could feel the tension..he felt bad but not enough to apologize so when Y/n took one last look at him while he faced away from her she could feel her heartache and he could hear her rapid heartbeat, her hushed panic breaths, and the small tear falling onto her jacket..although it was very faint.
For some reason miles got a sense, a bad one…something to do with Y/n but he ignored it. What he didn’t know was that it meant their paths were changing…
!❤️💙!
Hope you like it! This is my first story about something other than avatar so it’s not the best, sorry about that! Love you guys though! Hope your doing good!

‘DAMN SON, WHERE’D YA’ FIND THAT?’
2000’s trailer park! eddie x 2000’s black! trailer park! reader <3
black! reader, language, sex, nudity, pg-13
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
‘eddie? boy, quit gawkin’ at the new lady and help me with my damn car.’ wayne says from under his Lexus SC430. eddie just shakes his head.
‘sorry, wayne. she’s just so.. hot! i don’t know what it is about her. i should just talk to her! shouldn’t i, wayne?” he asks, handing wayne his wrench. “gone ahead, boy. don’t scare her off.” he says, his smirk hidden by the undercarriage. there you were. sitting on your steps, watching your mom and older sister load their things into the trailer, turning your head to talk to your mom. sooner or later, you turn around to see eddie standing awkwardly, kicking rocks and looking at his feet.
‘here for someone?’ you ask, eddie’s head snaps up and he clears his throat. ‘oh, uh yeah! i just wanted to introduce you! i’m uhh.. your neighbor eddie, and that’s my uncle wayne.’ he says, pointing to the shirtless man still under his car. “oh! well i'm y/n and that’s my sister, and my mom! thanks for welcoming us!” you say, pulling his arm up and shaking his hand. you turn around as your coogi denim shorts sway behind you, the door rocking back and forth before closing completely. eddie ran back to his uncles car and was past giddy.
‘jeez wayne! she shook my hand without me having to ask for one! i wonder if we’re going to the same highschool?!’ eddie was almost never this excited. besides his d&d campaigns of course. eddie walked back into his trailer and grabbed his song book, technically, this would be a little weird. but, in eddie’s mind, he was just doing something sweet! so he got to writing. lyrics were one of the only ways he knew how to really express himself. he knew that him writing was easier than outright telling someone how he felt, even if it was for someone he just met out the trailer park.
wednesday rolled around and he practically skipped into school with roses and butterflies floating on his side. the hellfire members quickly noted his out of the blue behavior and started asking questions. ‘what’s got you so happy?” dustin asks, eddie’s eyes shoot open and he takes a deep breath.
‘there’s this new girl at the trailer park, she’s absolutely perfect. i mean, i haven’t really talked to her or gotten to know her, but still!’ eddie justifies. soon enough murmurs and whispers come from students around. eddie looks up to see you: known to the group as trailer park girl. ‘eddie? hi!’ you say recognizing him immediately. you wave at people saying hi while you walk towards eddie and his friends.
‘dude, you never said she was hot.’ gareth says in eddie’s ear. eddie was beaming ear to ear.
‘y/n! didn’t think i’d see you here! even though you look your age i totally didnt mean to come off that you look younger than you do, we’ll i mean you look great i love your shorts! sorry.’ eddie says, he looks as red as a tomato at this point! you giggle. ‘jeez eddie, are you always like this? and who’re your friends?’ you ask, eyes skimming over the collection of freshman through seniors.
‘i’m dustin!’ says the shorter curly haired boy, ‘gareth. nice to meet you.’ he says, beaming. ‘jeff.’ ‘mike.’ and so on. you smilies and nodded your head. ‘nice to meet all of you! you seem very sweet.’ you say. hearing the bell, you shoot one more smile and you all situate to your classes. ‘holy shit. she is perfect! maybe she’s into d&d too.’ gareth says, following eddie. ‘yeah. i’ll ask her later. but now i gotta focus on passing this damn chem test.’
the lunch bell rang and and everyone was packed in the hallway like a can of sardines. soon enough, you found your way to the cafeteria and found yourself standing at the end of the hellfire table. ‘hey, mind if i sit here?’ you ask, hands dug deep into your pockets. ‘sure! no need to ask!’ eddie says, shooing dustin and mike down the bench. listening to eddie and his group talk felt as an eternity. in the pause of a conversation you blurt out a question, quickly surprising your lips afterwards. ‘what’s..hellfire?’
‘i’m glad you asked!’ said eddie, he was practically bouncing up and down. a girl as pretty as you has never wanted to know about their group like this. after hearing the lengthy explanation from eddie and his peers, the bell rang. the last two periods were a breeze. it seemed as math got easier since your freshman year. thank god for that. walking out the school, you started your route home. you plugged your ipod up and started your journey.
it was a good day - ice cube.
you were jamming on your way back home. you turned to check your surroundings and saw a big bulky van trailing behind you. in your intuition, you started walking the other way, just to make sure. looking back once again you saw the van following you, so you stopped dead in your tracks and waited for the van to stop in front of you. while the van creeped up, the window rolled down. sooner or later you make it out to be eddie. a smile tugging at your lips. ‘needa ride?’
after he dropped you off home, you gave your thanks and walked back into your trailer. ‘i’m home!’ you said, your mom playing soul music which sailed throughout the pact home. you smiled to yourself, the smile fading slowly when you heard a knock on the door. 'i'll get it.' you announced, jogging to the door. eddie on the other side was sweating. well, maybe not sweating, but it felt like he was. opening the door your eyebrows knitted in confusion, you were just with him, what could he want now? when eddie heard the door being unlocked, he straightened his back up almost immediately. you peered out of the door and smiled, opening it wider to get a full view of eddie.
'hey.' you say, swaying your hips subtly to the beat of the music in the background. 'uh..hey! so uhh i thought you looked really pretty the other day and uh i write music so' he cut his sentence off to take a deep breath. 'i wrote a piece of music for you and i was gonna play it with my band this weekend so, maybe you'd wanna tag along? of course you're free to decline, but we've never had a pretty girl like you at our shows.' he finishes his rant and he looks you into your eyes, expecting rejection. you giggle.
'well thanks, pretty boy. where's the band playing at?' you ask. 'uhh we call it the "hideout" you can ride in my van if you'd want.' eddie says giddy and over the moon. 'sure. i'd be happy to tag along. thanks for the invite.' you said, winking and walking back into the trailer. eddie jumped off your porch and pumped his fist in victory. he's never been this lucky before.
thurdsday came and eddie walked into his friend group. 'did she say yes?' gareth asks, hearing dustin and mike fake gag over something lucas said. 'yes. she said she would tag along! she even said she'd hop in my van. i'm so excited for this weekend.' as soon as eddie finished his sentence you walked in with your tanktop and microbraids in a up-down do. 'hey guys.' you announced yourself. 'hey y/n,' everyone reciprocated. smiles being flashed. bells rung throughout the day and lunch rolled around once again. eating and laughing almost drowned out the yells from the jocks directed at the hellfire table.
'hey.. got a new piece of meat huh? hey, sweetheart..' jason cooed. 'hey, leave her alone man. she just got here.' eddie defends, fists balled up in anger. 'im not talking to you, sicko.' jason said, leaning over and whispering something in your ear, making you jump and get up from the table, not without an awkward 'bye'. eddie and all his peers took glances at one another as you walked out the cafeteria. 'what did that jerkwad say to her? she just got here and she's totally getting scared off already.' eddie said. he stood from the head of the table and followed after you.
'y/n, y/n, come back! what's wrong? what did he say?' eddie asks, jogging after you. 'nothing, eddie. don't worry about it.' you assure. stepping into the back of the school. 'no, i can't not worry about it when my friend is getting talked down on.' he explained finally catching up to your figure.
'he said some things about me. y'know, being black and all.' you say, pausing the music playing on your ipod. 'oh jeez. i'm sorry, y'know i think you're great. you deserve more respect than what you get.' he comforted, smiling at you. the sound of classes switching bellowed out the school and the two of you walked back inside. school finished and you hopped into eddie's van. happily, you guys rock out to metallica while dropping everyone else who tagged along off and the two of you were the only ones left.
'y'know, i'm glad you've been friendly to me since i've been here. not everyone's so nice to me these past years. thanks ed's.' you say, a soft smile on your face, fidgeting with your fingers. 'well it's not everyday a pretty girl wants to hang out with me.' eddie says, returning that same soft smile. 'welp, here you go. see you tomorrow?'
'tomorrow.'
