We (the FC I joined w/ Ash and moved Saahe to) continued extremes on Saturday, and cleared Garuda, Titan, and Ifrit again for a few people who weren’t there the last time, and after that beat up Leviathan, Ramuh and Shiva for good measure.

So now I’ve done extremes synced, for the second time with the first three, and for the first time with Levi, Ramuh and Shiva. Not touching Thornmarch though. Was fun! Ramuh had to be my favorite, Shiva least favorite ‘cause I had no idea what was happening in that fight and just died repeatedly.

I was tank for the whole duration too, my co-tank changed once ‘cause the one I tanked the first three with didn’t have access to Ramuh and Shiva. ‘Cuz sprouts. Like, I had to switch from Ash to Saahe for the same reason, I just hadn’t gotten that far in the MSQ with Ash. He reached Ishgard today though, while I spent seven hours in VC with another FC member.

Idk what got into me but I had a good time??? We didn’t chat nonstop, obviously, but there was plenty of nice chatter and I was able to answer some game related questions from them (they’ve played for like five days).

And a few days ago there were a few people on VC, just hanging out, and I joined in on that too.

I cannot begin to express how out of character this kind of behavior is for me.

Rainy Days

You didn't really ask for anything specific so I'll just write what I felt like writing. I'm not amazing at writing Helluva Boss yet so please lower your expectations before we start. Have you done it? Good. This is gonna be lazy rainy days spent indoors with the characters ie. Beelzebub, Vortex, Fizzarolli, Asmodeus. Characters are probably gonna be ooc, but I'll do my best.

Bee as everyone knows is really energetic and extroverted. She much prefers being out and about rather then at home, well when the party isn't at her home at least. Tex is more of an ambivert leaning towards extroversion. He enjoyed parties and being with people. But can also really enjoy just being at home doing something calm. And you, were the introvert of the three much preferring just relaxing at home then going out. You were rarely seen putting energy into anything and were more often then not found in your room/bed. It had been a rainy and cold week so far, not yet having a day where it didn't rain. Bee hated it cause not as many people go out when it's rainy/cold. Tex didn't really have an opinion but was torn because Bee hates it and you love it. You loved it, a lot. A perfectly good reason to be warm, lazy, and comfy at home? Watch as many shitty videos as you want. Without people judging you for staying in all day! Fuck yeah! Bee was planning on going out after sitting at home bored for over an hour. She got dressed and was just about to leave before you and Tex walked in, in cozy clothes. Tex was holding tons of heavy poofy blankets and you were holding a ton of snacks. She walked up clearly curious "Tex! Y/N! I hope you weren't planning cuddles without me. What's up? hope you two aren't planning something behind my back?" You sprinted off and into your room without responding while Tex explained "I mean we weren't really planning it, but who knows. We were gonna do a movie night while it's raining. You want in?" He leaned in now whispering "Their all hyper. It's cute. The rain gets em all energetic." Bee was going to respond before you peaked your head in telling Tex to hurry up with the blankets. "I can't get the room ready without them! Hurry up!" He walked over and handed them to you. He waited till you were in the room again before turning back to bee "Hey it's up to you if you want ta join. You know they aren't usually energetic? Well they are now. I would enjoy it while it's here. We're prepped to watch movies all night, so if you're going to join get something comfy on." He gave her a quick kiss then joined you. Bee hears you ranting about something through the wall then huffs and goes up to her room to change "Wish they told me about all this before I took 2 hours getting ready to go out." ~~~~~ You were in the middle of setting up the room bossing Tex around cause his arms are longer then yours when you heard a knock. You walk over and open the door and see Bee in a giant hoodie you got her looking comfy. You basically tackle her into a hug "You're joining us! Ok ok, hold on I have to grab more snacks. Help Tex with the room." You give her one last squeeze then run off towards the kitchen. You only grabbed the snacks you and Tex liked before, but if she's going to join then you need to grab snacks for her. I mean she's literally the embodiment of gluttony. You can't do anything with her without snacks. You grab another armful of snacks and run back to your room. When you get there it's all set up. The room looks amazing and Tex and Bee are already settled in on the floor surrounded by all kinds of soft items, pillows, blankets, your giant collection of plushies. It takes a lot of will to not tear up at the sight. Looks like heaven. Ironic as you are literally in hell. You put the snacks in bowls then get comfy with Tex and Bee. You start up the movie and turn only to turn around and see that more then half the snacks have already been eaten. You sigh and get comfy again. It's gonna be a nice night. Two people you love, the sounds and scent or the rain, a incredibly comfy pillow and blanket nest, and a shitty movie you can make fun of. Only thing you have to worry about is if you would rather have four armed cuddles from Bee. Or the strong safe hold of Tex. Hey, you can always have both.

Fizzarolli & Asmodeus

Their is actually zero chance that you plan anything with one of them without the other knowing and trying to help. So before you could get past the planning phase for a night in with Fizz, Ozzie was in the room helping you. A rainy night inside with these two would honestly be amazing. Sure Fizz is chaotic, and Ozzie is really big and kind of intimidating. But that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be lovely, movie nights with them are the best. Fizz is a jester knowing how to make unreasonably big pillows forts is something he kind of has to know. And Ozzie is wonderful and encouragement and can and will get you and Fizz any resources you need for it to turn out right. Once all is ready prepare to be stuck in the room for a long time. You were the one who started it all, but once Ozzie and Fizz are comfy and enjoying themselves you wont be allowed to leave either. It wouldn't be the same without you there. Once again you are faced with a choice (Kind of). You can choose extendable arm and legged cuddles from Fizz, he can wrap around you multiple times. Or the strong and fluffy hold from Ozzie. But being honest you don't actually have a choice. It will always end up with Fizz half wrapped around you and half around Ozzie. And Ozzie holding you two. Little warning Fizz's laugh is really obnoxious and loud. So if anyone say some kind of shitty pun he happens to find funny at the time he will just howl, and that leads to Ozzie laughing too. It adds a really lighthearted vibe to the already cozy rainy day indoor vibe. You're in for a good time, just watch Fizz or all the snacks will be gone in an instant.

I was going for journalism originally, but I changed majors because I didn't like how much I would have to lick the butts & shoes of yellow journalists who aren't worth my respect or time. I wanted to be part of the information side of things & keep people informed on the happenings around them. But all they do from my perspective is waste hours churning out fiction for views. If I wanted to do that, I would have pursued acting as a career, which is a hobby of mine. I like community theater a lot. It is a fun escape from everything. Something just so satisfying about putting on a show, where the moment I step out on that stage & feel those lights & eyes on me, I am no longer concerned with my problems. The mask is on & won't be off until later~! Music is my other passion. I love writing my own music and lyrics. I play the violin, piano, & guitar. I am taking singing lessons for fun too. My few friends describe me as the one they look to for honest opinions, even if it might not be something they want to hear. I am also weirdly regarded as a ball of energy. I am not a recluse, I just have intense trust issues. It is probably due to the pathetic jokes of relationships I have had, among other potential trauma inducing experiences. Giving me a sense of understanding some of the why's I have asked for years. I'm still learning more, too. I have some ideas that are not exactly conventional & push a few boundaries with other fields of science & ethics. Regardless, I hope to use the knowledge I am gaining to help others help themselves. And then Kagami's order was called, bags upon bags of food being set out onto the counter. You blinked owlishly at it, having been proven wrong. "Oh..."

How He Fell For You

With just as strong of a competitive nature as you, Kagami often took up any perceived challenge you threw at him with open arms. It was fun for him having someone at his school like you to bicker with because you never backed down.

It wasn't until, one day, he had found you napping outside the school courtyard on a bench, did he realize just why he enjoyed your presence so much. Seeing you sleeping so peacefully — a stark contrast from the competitive attitude you always showed him — had him realizing he'd grown accustomed to your presence always around.

You caught him staring and that was the start of it all.

Peeking one of your eyes open, you found Kagami standing nearby. His eyes had been locked onto your sleeping figure, staring intently. "You look like a creep staring at me like that," you quipped, tone teasing.

It was enough to have Kagami's skin flushing nearly the same color as his hair. He spluttered, brows pinching together like he had been caught doing something much dirtier. "It's not like that!" he protested, walking closer as you sat up fully from your position on the bench. When you asked him to elaborate, he almost didn't answer. But then, quietly, like it was a confession in itself, he murmured.

"You just... looked really peaceful, Ana. It was nice."

What a Relationship with Him is Like

He's conflicted at first as to whether or not he should remain competitive with you. Girls liked it when their boyfriends went easy on them, right? Let them win? But you quickly called him out on that, telling him it was the challenge he presented that you enjoyed the most.

Despite how your relationship with him started, Kagami still tries to do some of the more domestic, couple things with you. He'll bring you lunch every so often, cooked by his own hand — though he would never tell you he fretted over making everything so perfect. And despite his dwindling savings and your ravenous appetite, he'll always insist on paying for the both of your meals.

All in all, a romantic relationship with Kagami feels a lot like how your previous relationship with him was. With the added benefit of boyfriend-only activities.

"I already gave you your own bento for lunch today, quit pickin' from mine," Kagami complained, swatting at your chopsticks as you tried to snag one of the fried pieces of chicken out of his container.

After a little battle with the ends of your chopsticks, you were successful in grabbing a piece of his lunch, popping the delicious treat between your lips. Humming in approval, you looked up to Kagami with a bit of a mischievous grin. He met your stare with a slight glare that slowly melted into something more content. He wasn't that mad at you stealing his food.

Halorr!! Let me introduce myself, I am yours, joke! Me, myself, and I named Iara, yes Ya-ra. Sometimes people misread that as Lara, yes, L, not realizing that my name is actually with the letter "I”. Some people have trouble pronouncing my name, and I haven’t had the same name in my school since I was a little child. At this moment, I feel unique and exceptional, just kidding! My mom told me my name should be Linelle but they didn’t put it because that was too long for me. I wish I could go back to being a baby because they say that as you get older, your difficulties would surface more. In relation to traveling back, I wish I could travel to 2015! When people comment that spending time with me is enjoyable, I feel amazing. Knowing that someone is having fun when I'm around them makes me happy. Isn't it strange that I don't have a favorite beverage, dish, or anything else? Simply said, I don't have a favorite because I find them all to be equally appealing. When my papa is the one who prepared my meal, I really enjoy it. Before I forget to mention it, it is him who prepares our meals as my mother is away at work. I was in sixth grade when she came home and then she returned again when I was at seventh grade. She's not here with us, but I still adore them equally. I am close to both of them. I like to read, but I'm not very good at writing. Since watching a movie doesn't make me feel the same and makes me feel sleepy, I much prefer reading. When I am watching, I fall asleep off, but I am not aware of this until I am awake and remember that I forced myself to watch. I have a dog, my dog and I are like parents to one another. Yes, all of my daughter's expenses are paid for by my allowance, and because of this, I feel like a responsible mother. She is my friend and my source of joy. My parents and I both adore her dearly! They originally protested when I mentioned I wanted a puppy, but I now believe they view her as their kid as well, which is hilarious. I'll stop there with my personal information. I believe that's enough for you to know a little bit about me even though I don't fully understand myself.

WHERE DO I SEE MYSELF IN 10 YEARS FROM NOW ON? WAS MY LEARNING IN SPUP VITAL WHERE I’M LEADING TO? I'm asking myself, 'Where do I see myself?' I don't know where my future will lead me, but I know that I want to succeed. Let's simply focus on my goals for myself in ten years. She is doing things that I wish to do for myself. Because of other people, those opinions, and other critiques, my inner child wasn't as content. In ten years, I want to be the best version of me that my parents could ever hope for. I want to prove my ability to them by being the person they didn't see coming me to be. In addition, I want to do the things I wished for while feeling joy. I'm doing things that I didn't realize I could do because I'm harsh on myself. Just because of the criticism, I refrained from doing those things. In ten years, I want to picture myself as content and happy.I believe that where I choose to study will be the best decision for where I am going. I am still a freshman here at my University and a transfer student, but studying here has many advantages. After studying here for about a month, I can confidently state that this will benefit me greatly in the future, particularly in college. 

WAS HUMSS THE BEST CHOICE AFTER ALL? 

One of my better decisions was to select HUMSS as my strand. I'd rather solve math problems than write an essay or have a debate. I lack historical knowledge, essay writing skills, and speaking in front of groups of people with confidence. Given how much I despise essays, it is really funny to me why I chose this strand. I selected this because I want to push myself, I want to accomplish more and I think I can improve more. I don't want to limit myself to the things I am capable of, therefore this strand will help me write better and speak in front of groups with more confidence. I want to make progress with the things I'm having trouble with. This choice would be beneficial, I'm sure of it. 

WHAT COURSE WILL YOU TAKE IN COLLEGE?

Even I don't know the answer, or to put it another way, I'm still unsure of what I want to do. I'm interested in psychology because I want to learn more about how people think and behave. I want to research and comprehend how the brain and the human mind work. I also wish to assist those who are depressed or anxious. On the other hand, flight attendant is my ideal profession. I want to travel and see the world, so I want to visit many other nations. Actually, since I was in fourth grade, working as a flight attendant has been one of my ambitions. They claim that this would work for me and that the inspirations I heard were strong enough to hold my ambition of becoming a flight attendant alive. Even though I find it challenging, I still want to work on it because I think it's so lovely—just like the clouds above.

Do you have any headcanons about the khux gang?

Oh anon I am so glad you asked this because I totally do!!! These lil guys have lived in my head rent free for over 3 years at this point and you have given me an excuse to talk about them. You will live to regret this /j

First off, Brain has a country/southern accent. I don't really have a good reason for this other than that when I first saw him my mind immediately gave him an accent. It's because of the boots, I think. Anyway, I just think it'd be funny if this super smart guy who you assume would be a stickler for proper grammar and such say "Y'all" and "Ain't" on a regular basis. If Luxord can be British than brain can be Southern.

Out of the two of them, Lauriam is more extroverted than Strelitzia. However, he's more than an extrovert introvert than a pure extrovert (Ambivert I think it's called?). He gets along just fine with people and has no trouble talking to them, it's just he prefers to be alone with his flowers or something.

Ephemer is not allowed in the kitchen without supervision. he knows what he did /hj

Okay but in all seriousness, Ephemer cannot cook to save his life. He burns anything. Pancakes, Cookies, Water, somehow. Skuld and Lauriam are the only ones who know how to cook properly. Strelitzia knows a bit about cooking, but she usually messes it up somehow, at least her's is still edible (cough cough Ephemer). Brain knows the bare minimum. He can make ramen and operate a coffee machine, that's all he needs for sustenance. Ventus is 10, he knows how to microwave stuff, but other than that he is outta luck (do microwaves exist in the age of fairytales? they do now)

Ephemer and Skuld can get really competitive over things. Like, obsessively competitive. They once spent a whole week trying to continuously one up each other, much to the chagrin of everyone else.

Elrena's keyblade is Olympia (though I'll be surprised if that doesn't end up being canon)

Bit of an unpopular opinion, I think, but I headcanon Brain to be the oldest out of the group. He just gives me those vibes. He's, at most, a couple months older than Lauriam, but everyone just defaults to assuming Lauriam's the oldest because of his height.

Speaking of Ages, my headcanons for them are as follows:

Brain: 18.

Lauriam: 17-ish, almost 18.

Elrena: 16.

Skuld, Ephemer, and Strelitzia: 15, in that order.

Ventus: 10/11.

Strelitzia constantly feels like she needs to be exactly like Lauriam. Growing up, Lauriam was framed as the "Perfect Child" and Strelitzia always found herself compared to him. These days she tries to break away from that thought process, but she still finds herself falling back into it sometimes.

As mentioned above, Lauriam was the "Perfect Child" of he and Strelitzia's family. He just gives off the vibes, y'know? Maybe it's just the flower motif giving Isabela from Encanto vibes, idk.

Ventus would frequently go on missions with tougher heartless than what he was assigned so that he could "prove he was strong enough" or whatever. This got him into quite a few situations where he had to be helped by a party member/a wielder passing by.

Brain can play piano.

Ephemer and Skuld like to explore the clock tower to see what's in the random rooms scattered about the tower. They share the nonsensical stuff they find with the others.

Lauriam and Strelitzia are both unreasonably tall. One day Lauriam just shot up a foot overnight and was 6'1" at the age of 15.

Lauriam is also very thin, I think? When he got taller his body didn't quite catch up immediately so he's just like, a twig. This changes when he's older (obviously, have you seen Marluxia?), but khux-era Lauriam is the literal definition of a beanpole.

Strelitzia is also very tall, but she's definitely not as tall as Lauriam. Maybe 5'8-ish? I'm tall myself so I don't really now want counts as "tall", my perception of height is all skewed.
