So fr most if nt all the frnds I hav who also wtch Ena ALSO has a vry “vr vry mixd feelngs now tht I’ve seen the episde!!” mood twrds Temptation Stairway! It’s 4 a bunch of rsns, like thise post (tw racism) mde by a frnd whch brings up a good point

Part 1: The Actual Intro

Episode 1 = Auction day (AD) Episode 2 = Extinction Party (EP) Episode 3 = Tempation Stairway (TS)

Who is Ena

Ena can b describd as an "abstract girl split in half, w 1 blue side n the other is her yellow side!" Each side (emotion/mood, 2 b specific) seems 2 hav their own voic actor credited along with seper8 credits 4 each mood! So far the canon sides r Ena (happy), Ena (sad), n Ena (drunk)! They seem 2 act accordingly: Happy acts happy n optimistc, Sad acts sad n especlly depressd, n Drunk acts confused n dizzy [In the Credits, it would look like thise: Ena (happy) by Gabe V., Ena (sad) by Lizzie Freeman, (drunk) Ena by Sam Meza

4 Episodes 1-2, thy follow thise pattern exctly! So we cn expect wht 2 see from them, n each voice actor is creditd accordngly as seper8 b all a part of Ena

On epside 3, Ena is seen as actng diffrnt!! She's suddnly less predictabl! I say thise bc Suddenly, her voic Actors r not stuck 2 Only their sides. Thise is also emphasized when looking at the credit list! No longer is it "Ena (happy) by Gabe V., Ena (sad) by Lizzie Freeman" it's now jst "ENA by Gabe V. and Lizzie Freeman"

Happy's voic can sound STRESSED n sad, Happy can tlk w Blue's side in mor control n Sad's voic can sound Really happy n optimistic. Somth's Diffrnt n Not The Same

Temptation Stairway Summary

Skipping 2 my point, The summary of the episode Temptation stairway is tht Moony and Ena have a bet 2 race 2 the Great Runas! The Great Runas, can grnt u any wish accordng 2 Moony n som of those Ena passes by on the wy. The wager, is tht "whoever reaches the top of the Great Runas n makes their wish 1st, has 2 pay the debts of the loser" (yes it’s phrased like that) As Ena journeys thru, The DIFFERENCES between Ena Temptation Stairway and Ena Extinction Party n Below, is mor obvious as the epsde progrsses, even 2 wher Happy's voic actor is the 1 screamng in agony 2 jst get murdered already. The Episode ends w Moony beatng Ena (but it's 100% possibl it can be the other way arnd, that ENA Beat Moony, b thats somth I'll discuss in a bit L8r). Moony splits in half, revealing that according 2 her, "she wished 2 be skinny" n a humanoid coms out of her previous form. As 4 Ena, Her blue side slowly dispprs n its not answrd why.

Theories so far, are:

Moony wished 4 Ena 2 b happy (or 4 her sad/blu side 2 go awy. 4 wht reason can b eithr wholsom or 2 Moony's advntge [like so she "doesnt have 2 deal w Sad Ena"]) - b if Moony wished 4 Ena 2 b happy/b rid of her sad side, tht wld mean perhaps she lied about wishing 2 be skinny (her new humanoid form may be how she is "paying her debt 2 the loser"). Unless the Runas can grant u more than 1 wish.

Ena ws the 1 who wished her blu side awy, whch is a little depressng tbh

If both the above r tru, it may b possibl bc it wsnt clarified (afaik) tht the great runas can only grant ONE person a wish (or more). I think we only get tht implica8ion bc we see 1 (open) door while in the distance, ther r more doors tht look like their eyes r closed. We hav 2 remembr Moony said "whoever makes their wish 1st whch means Ena n Moony can totlly mke wishes @ the sme time

Somhow, turning pure yellow/only happy is how Moony is payng her debt 2 Ena(??) (opposite 2 the 1st theory)

OR If Ena won the race, it can even b possibl 2 consider tht Ena did not make ANY wish, n her debt 2 pay 2 Moony is her sad/blue side removed (I do not subscribe 2 thise)

This info that was brought up 2 me is high evidenc that Moony won the race, n it explains how Moony surprises Ena whn Ena arrives. “I’m The Best and you’re the worst! I wonder who got the hair chest?” said by Ena, is a direct reference 2 a phrase usd by kids when they lose that goes “First is the worst, second is the best, third is the one with the hairy chest.”

“Whoever reaches the top of the Great Runas n makes their wish 1st, has 2 pay the debts of the loser.“ Might be phrased tht way as a weird way 2 pay 4 ur greed? (Last minute addition from me since some people wld think this is quoted wrong in and outside of the youtube comments)

2 GET IN2 the whole Implied Integr8ion part of my Essay™ I hav a theory calld system ena or sys!ena! (Check out my #system ena tag. This is in chronologicl order!) While thers no canon explan8ion 4 how Ena herslf is how she is, she mkes very intrstng n almst good accdntl Sys Represent8ion 2 me! They even show cofronting rlly well! I headcanon Ena as a system bc of the accidentl system!rep, but it explains 2 me y n how she switches! she has triggers 4 when she switchs 2 a diffrnt side, etc!

Ther hav been theories about Temptation Stairway in the past (before the episode cme out) wher ppl try 2 explain y the trailer Looks Like Tht. Besides theorizing abt the introduction of a new forme (I'm ok w just calling it Scared/Anxiety 4 now until 4rthr notic), 1 of the theories ive seen is tht Temptation Stairway's new introduced forme is due 2 being something akin 2 being "integr8d" (probably by force, accordin 2 the OP) (in other words, all her sides merge in2 one) n Ena being devast8td abt it

While tht theory is now DEBUNKED, bc the new forme clearly did not come out bc of being One Single Mind now, the "integr8ion" part of tht theory is unfortun8ly a littl tru

What is Integr8ion?

Integr8ion is not inherently a bad thing. In systems, ther are 2 definitions: "the breaking down of barriers 2 form healthy multiplicity, n then healthy communic8ion n less amnesiac barriers" and the othr, n mor FAMOUS definition bc its the oldest 1, is "final fusion"

Fnal Fusion is when all the members "fuse/merge" 2gether until ther is 1 single mind left. While not necssrlly a bad thng, final fusion n ther4 "integr8ion" is a scry thing 4 a lot of systems 2 talk abt, because in the history of Treatment, Final fusion is uslly somthng forcd on2 systems 4 the longest time :^(

Very valid 2 hav final fusion as a goal, b showng it as a desire n end goal is uslly seen as a sad n even scry thing 2 promote accdntly or not in media, bc of the previous traumas in the medicl/therapy world of system treatment etc

What's Worse. is tht if we apply the Ending 2 Temptation Stairway to the System!Ena Theory, thts wht hurts!!!

Scrolling back up 2 the possibl theories of who won the race and wht happened aftr, Either Moony or Ena wishing 4 the blue side/Sad Ena 2 go awy is rlly painful!

B I'll be honest, thts a RLLY biased n personal opinion i hav!! I've seen ppl think its rlly wholsom altho a bit Sad, tht the blue side disappears. I've seen ppl think its rlly sweet esp if it was Moony who mde tht wish

BSCLLY If I were to hold on2 the System!Ena headcanon while watchng the Temptation Stairway episode, its Hurtful, not rlly bc of the implied Integr8ion of Sides, but bc most top theories r that the blue side disappeard on Purpose either from Moony or Ena wishing her away or involvng the debt! It's like asking 4 ur sibling irl 2 Disappear and cease 2 exist. it's scary n rlly sad esp whn the audienc can c tht Sad, Happy, n Drunk cn almst b seen as their own persons n mite even b abl 2 interact w each othr (as seen by the many fanart of Happy n Sad having their own seper8 forms)

Ok so Now tht ive described my intro n Main Beef w the Episode, here's a theory I cn rlly get behind tht dsnt mke me wnna cry behind a Denny's. Prsnlly it's a rlly relievng theory even if it mite b hard 2 take in

Ther's no name 4 it, som call it the Enaverse, b just so it dsnt get confusd w other definitions (like, u wldnt call it the Marvel Cinematic Universe theory, the MCU is jst wht it is) I'm gnna call it the Multi-Ena theory! Bsclly, there's mor than 1 Ena in thise universe. But I'll get in2 a sub/partner theory tht is also possibl: ther is mor than 1 enaverse n somhow u may or may not b abl 2 travel between them

Part 3: The Multi-Ena theory

Something interesting I noticed was that the shepherds says “another ENA troublemaker?” Which definitely means more than one ENA/person has been there before.

(I blockd out the rest of the commnt not bc it ws bad, b i wantd 2 focus on this part of the commnt, but thise commnt will come up again L8r)

Not connected 2 System!Ena or the integr8ion issue I mentioned earlier, the multi-ena theory seems 2 b 1 of the top suggstd theories bc of many thngs! Bsclly n in short, thise theory believs tht in the series (or Enaverse), ther is multipl ena's! So fr i havent seen a post tht RLLY went in2 depth on thise so here is my attempt!

Evidence:

(See: above explanation on how the voic actors r credited 4 their roles individlly 2 explain my system!ena theory/intro) In episodes 1-2, Ena's diffrnt emotions/sides r creditd individually! In Temptation Stairway, Gabe n Lizzie Freeman r all creditd undr the sme nme, just as "Ena" (mening thise is a completely different Ena from the past)

Again, as said in my summry 4 Tempt8ion Stairway, thise Ena acts compltly diffrnt n is not follwng the sme "pattern" or rules as Ena did in Episodes 1-2! (Read above in my summary section) Either ther r stuff we've missd between Extinction Party n Temptation Stairway, or thise is a diffrnt Ena entirely. I'd hav 2 sy prsnlly tht I'm leanng 2wrds the latter bc of how the VA's are crdtd. but if ur not convinced, let me continu:

When we meet the Shepard in 7:52 of the episode, they say (verbatim) "Arghh... Another ENA trouble maker." which implies there r more than 1 Ena's

9:08 - 9:19 when Ena jumps in2 the "Holy Code" where we head undrwtr in2 a sea of diffrnt doors, we see floating Ena models (n the comment section seems 2 gravit8 2 callng them "dead bodies") (Honorary mention: You'll notic they glitch in2 Mannequins if u pay attention 2 them). This piec of info is Direct Evidence 2 the multi-ena theory, bc ther r Explicitly mor thn 1 ena's on screen! wht's concernng n unanswrd tho, is y do they glitch in2 mannequins? Does tht mean all the mannequins we sw on screen in the begnng of the video (n onwards) were all previously an Ena? Is it only an Ena tht can transform in2 a mannequin or cn othr chrctrs also become mannequins?

Not the strongst evidenc b i'll input it anywy: Ena's Action boxes (Like when she receivs or gives items) spell her nme her as ƎNA (with a backwrds E). The thing abt thise 1 is tht we can't compare it with Auction Day n Extinction Part bc they don't have any action boxes. BUT What we CAN compare is how she is spelled in the dialogue boxes of those speakng in diffrnt languages AND in the Credits! In Episodes 1-2, She's Spelled as Ena with this captialis8ion. In Temptation Stairway the dialogue and credits consitntly spell her as ENA in all caps. May or may not allude 2 her being diffrnt, b i will admit this is the most Strechiest piec of evidnc. Tru or not, I'd like 2 refer 2 Tempt8ion Stairway ena as TS!Ena or ƎNA, prsnlly 2 differenti8 her frm the othr episodes

Pronounci8ion: BUT 2 build on the above evidence, In the beginning of the episode, Moony DOES pronounc Ena's name in different wys a lot, startng w I-NA (ai-na), ENA (ehna), n finally JENA. And this isnt new! She’s been doing it sinc Auction Day (ee-nah/ii-na) n Extinction Party (ay-nah). Thise may or my not sggst that perhaps Moony's inconsistancy is bc these othr pronunci8ions or names cld b of other ena's she's met in the past w similr or diffrnt preferences! I’d say because of her constant switchng in the beginning of Temptation Stairway, it would lean 2wards that she may know different Ena’s @ once. Otherwise, c the Multi-Enaverse theory below

Note: Every othr charctr besides Moony (So far; Merci and the Shepard) Pronounces Ena as ehna (or ehna) so it might be that perhaps Eh-na is the universal way of pronouncng Ena?

Conlusions/thghts on this theory: I prsnlly like thise a lot!! It makes Enasonas Very Possible, b also tht any interpret8ion of Ena cn b corrct or possibl! It knda saddens me tho bc im not rlly sure if we'll ever return 2 the Ena we're used 2, I wldnt rlly want 2 b stuck w/o Sad bc I thnk her role is rlly neat n can b importnt, b im biasd. I also rlly subscribe 2 thise theory bc it means whtvr happend 2 TS!Ena ds not hav 2 be permanent in the long run; Again litrlly the only thng keepng me from gettng supr upset abt the ending of Temptation Stairway, is tht the prev ena’s r not the sme n wld possibly not do thise, or tht ther r othr ena’s out ther besides THISE episod 1, who wld nvr do tht, etc

Part 4: The Multiple Enaverses/Multi-Enaverse Theory AKA The Alternative In Defense of Moony Mispronouncing Ena’s name over and over

An alterntve 2 the Multi-Ena theory, is tht there is MORE thn 1 Enaverse! So bsclly, a multiverse theory. Primarily thise my explain Not jst Ena's sudden Shift in how diffrnt she is in thise episode b may also explain how Diffrnt Moony is actng in thise episode 2. While thise isnt the top theory i prsnlly subscribe 2 (sinc ther isnt explicit evidence besides it bein an explan8ion 4 Moony n Ena's weird/diffrnt behavior), it DOES open a lot of doors 2 intrstng things 2 thnk abt!

Bsclly Moony keeps mispronouncing Ena’s name a lot (in Tempation Stairway) n its Really Rude, esp consdrng she’s always said it properly (As in @ least 1nce in an episode n not switchng multiple times) b4! so 2 Explain her Sudden change in behavior, this is actlly a Different Moony, besides a different Ena. this is a whole different universe/timeline!

LIKE If not multiple Ena's, The different Loca8ions in Ena cn probbly b traversible across dimensions! The Holy Code may b the door 2 diffrnt enaverses. The Shepard's garden cld b an interdimensionl place tht is singular n deals w diffrnt beings passing thru! While i dnt hav mch 2 sy on thise, its RLLY Interestng 2 thnk abt

Like the Multi-Ena theory, thise also opens the doors 2 enasonas being vry possibl :^) Som ppl's evidences r all involvng Moony besides how Ena's rlly diffrnt

The Great Runas is actlly a play on the "Run As" Command! I'm not very Smart engh 2 break thise down vry well, b bsclly w all the allusion 2 "codes" n the Blood ID looking like a Chip, The Great Runas being abl 2 grant u wishes makes a lot of sense! This ws brought up 2 me from a friend (@ambercard)!

like its a command line. so then the great runas being able to grant wishes makes sense if its digital world like all the code stuff says Allows a user to run specific tools and programs with different permissions than the user's current logon provides.

its possible using the blood id akin to using the run as administrator command since idk their name but one of the people ena met said the blood id didnt seem like her which is like. if she isnt administrator then it would make sense that using that command wouldnt match who she is

The Enaverse is all a computer code of some sort- most probbaly a game! AKA: This is a digital world

... If we were too treat this world as a video game this would make more sense since different play through bus and all that. Oh god this feels like a fnaf situation, taking a video that just wants to be a video and turning it into a big serious thing

Going with the whole ‘there are multiple enas representing the player’ theory, perhaps this ENA realized that she’s in a video game and isn’t taking it too well? But the game is kind of glitching out because of it.

Standout things from this animation:

-This Ena switches between a male & female voice at seemingly random instead Happy speaking with a male voice and Sad speaking with a Sad voice. The text boxes noticeably refer to this Ena with a reversed E, and The Shepard says "Another Ena troublemaker", implying that there are multiple Enas. We also see some Ena corpses flickering into the mannequin bodies at one point. Third, at the end we see Ena's sad half turn from blue to yellow over the course of Ena & Moony's conversation. My personal theory is that this Ena is possibly 'broken' in some manner. -Moony either doesn't care or dosen't realize that Ena's voices aren't matching the personalities anymore. -The grey personality appears to come out when Ena gets too stressed out. Notably the transformation involves the happy half turning into static and exploding out, erasing Ena's face in the process. It also appears that some physical trauma (in this case, Brick Frog kicking Ena) is necessary to exit the grey personality, unlike the previously seen 'blackout' personalities which can possibly be switched by the other personality exerting themselves (in the auction episode, Ena enters her sad blackout/depressed personality, then switches to Happy!Ena, who apologizes to Moony about her depressed outburst). -Moony's hole is capable of closing to hold things, and she also knows how to skateboard. -Judging by Ena's reaction, Moony's transformation at the end is weird even by this universe's standards.

hi jo !!! Pastels, Peaches, and Pain is one of those sambucky wips i have mostly fully fleshed out in my head because of one (1) extreme moment of clarity after a rogue ‘what if’ tangent thought but havent written anything of yet out of restraint / knowing i need to finish at least one of my current sambucky wips before i start it or none of them will get done

this was the rogue tangent thought: “what if Sam is haunted by Figaro’s ghost and has been since he was a kid?”. i’ve changed the ghost cat to not be Figaro but that’s the premise !

i refer to the fic as the cat fic ‘cause the whole plot is based around sam’s ghost cat companion insisting he adopts nat’s cat Liho after endgame and then Figaro later and then [insert redacted because plot spoilers but just know it relates to Alpine]. no im not projecting my feelings about cats idk what youre talking about

here’s some note snippets just for you:

the cat, inexplicably, takes a liking to bucky, which is really annoying bc sam doesnt know how to explain to him that all the oddly soft gusts of wind are actually sam's dead cat insisting on getting pats

bucky getting shade thrown at him by said ghost cat during all of tfatws + them making up (and not out. yet)

starts when sam's a kid & follows him as he grows up w/ a ghost kitty as a companion only he can see & interact with + angst with an undertone of comedy + getting together

he whispers to ghost kitty, who simply mmrrs happily

for the among us first draft thing, what basically happened is i saw this tweet and this video and my brain latched onto these dynamics so hard i had to write about them.

here’s a sketch of my two main imposters, Black (left) and Cyan (right):

The thing having Cyan pause and stare out at the asteroid field is how the colors stretch to family. When they and Black came aboard, they had thought every crewmember was an adult working on the planet-change project. That the patch of off-white with a black something-pattern-or-shape signified status. In a way, Cyan supposes it does, but just not the way they expected. They had expected it to show what rank an individual held within the hierarchy of the crew, from deckhand to division leader to captain, not to show that you're family of the crew and not actually part of the crew itself.

There are innocents on this ship. Children. It was not something any of them had anticipated, and not something Cyan had been prepared to deal with. They and Black boarded this horrible place to eradicate a threat, believing each and single one of the humans were accomplishes and dedicated to the goal of destroying Cyan and Black's species, and their planet. But, now?

marvel meets warframe meets a bunch of tumblr posts... doesn’t have a wip title or seperate document for itself yet cause it’s been stuck in my ‘story ideas’ document since its creation. so ‘marvel meets warframe meets a bunch of tumblr posts’ is literally just me describing the vibe of an original world gjkerfkds

the world came to be for two reasons. firstly, i want to do make take on a superhero universe because the plot and complete lack of communication in both the dcu and mcu piss me the fuck off. secondly, needed a place to dump ocs with elaborate backstories or fantasy / sci-fi abilities that dont fit into any of my existing worlds

which sounds super competent but trust me, it isn’t. it didn’t gain any solidity at all until i decided to do a personal ‘how different can i make spn castiel look & still retain the same vibe?’ challenge. i have my own cas now

however, the reason i said ‘marvel meets...’ is because i’ve snagged a couple of different things from the mcu, most notably: enemies to reluctant coworkers to lovers, yes our best friend have the same name. no they’re not the same person, secret evil org is controlling the government, and the assassin that tried to kill you several times is now your best friend

warframe was added to the world because i got attached to my Volt build, gave them a name, and have some headcanons idk what to do with because i refuse to interact with that fandom. also because the friend i made through discussing warframe lore + plot dicked me over so it feels Bad to create for

the glue to this whole mess is that one “in every friend group there’s a mean bisexual, an even meaner lesbian, a she/they, a he/they, a himbo, an astrology bitch, a short king, and a token straight” tumblr post. my main group of superheroes ala the avengers consist of these people. the token straight is the only one i havent figured out who is yet

ever since i figured that out ive been throwing story / character ideas and weirdly specific aesthetics from popular tumblr posts into this world’s notes. here’s some examples:

“But Tesssss” You dragged out her name for annoyance. “Hes so charming, like how is he that charming, hes so goddamn charming. With his beautiful smile, and his eyesssss, you should see them Tess.” You trailed behind her as she walked quickly through the building. She came to a holt and you almost crashed iinto her back at the abrupt stop She forcefully turned around and grabbed your shoulders. “(Y/N). As much as I love you, you seriously need to stop talking about Tom, I get you like him, I get he has nice eyes, I get hes Ever. So. Charming. But youve got an interview to get ready for.” This is how a lot of days went when you saw Tom, and hung out with Tessa. It wasnt your fault that a certain British man has stolen your heart. You had been hired to play a major role on Thor:Ragnorok earlier this year, which was how you met Tessa and Tom. And youve never been the same since. She usually listened to you ramble for hours about Tom. Because thats what best friends do. But Tess was very sleep deprived, and you all had an interview and she just wanted you to. Shut. Up. For one second. You glared at her through your lashes. You knew she didnt mean it but she didnt need to be so mean. “Fine, what time is the interview?” “In about 20 minutes” You nodded, and headed back to your trailer, assuming Tess was doing the same thing. You were wrong, of course. She was (Very angrily) heading in the direction of Tom Hiddleston, who was getting some Tea. She stomped up to him. “Tom Bloody Hiddleston” She stopped in front of him, ears practically steaming. It seemed you pissed her off on a bad day. “Yes?” He said very warily, noticing her red face, and angry attitude. “If you dont bloody ask (Y/N) out soon, because I know you like her, I see the way you look at her, you cant lie to me, if you dont confess your feelings, I will punch you straight back to Britain. Because that girl, will not stop talking about you. And as much as I love to see her happy, its very annoying, even on a good day” She had calmed down a little, after getting her rant out. But Tom just stared at her. You liked him. You actually liked him. You had caught his eye the first day on set. Your bright (Y/H/C), and pretty eyes. He was staring at you the entire day. And when he found out you where Lokis love interest, he felt ready to explode. He snapped from his memory daze and looked at her. “Right…” She looked at him expectantly. “Yes… ill do that” She gave him a smile and stomped back to her trailer to get ready, leaving Tom, smiling like an idiot.

You sat in the Interview chair, in between Tess and Tom, readying for the questions. “So, (Y/N) your new on the marvel scene, and the acting scene too, this is your first major role right?” You nodded, Tom smiled in admiration next to you. “So, was it difficult, having a big rise to fame in such a short time?” You pondered the question. “Not really. It certainly was a shock, seeing how fast word travels. But I have my two favourite people to help me adjust. “ You pointed to the people either side of you as they smiled. The interviewer went on with the questions. Tessa answering some, Tom answering some too. Sometimes youd catch yourself staring at Tom, but you brushed it off. “So, (Y/N), we know your Character is a bit of a seductress” He laughed. “Much like real life” Tom chimed in, as your cheeks became painted red. Tessa stared at you both, grinning. Everyone laughed. “Was it hard to get into that frame of mind?” “I would say yes, contrary to Toms beliefs apparently. Im very apprehensive when it comes to flirting and dating, I honestly have no idea what im doing, I wouldnt know flirting if it was happening right in front of me.” You giggle. “Its true, she never notices” Tom added again, making you look away and blush crawl up your neck. The interview went on, but you werent paying attention, you where mostly wondering what the fuck that was about? No. No. He wasnt, he doesnt like you like that. You shook it off as the interview ended. You stood up and shook the interviewers hand, and got up to leave. You made chatter with your two friends as you left the interview room. “Im- ‘m gonna head back to my trailer” You yawned. Tessa gave you a soft look and hugged you goodbye, as did Tom.

You rushed back to your trailer, swinging the door open and flinging yourself onto the couch. what just happened? He wasnt flirting with you was he? Did he know? You got up and looked in the mirror. Your face was as red as a tomato. You began trying to busy yourself, clearing up the small kitchen, until you heard a faint know on the door love. “Alright, love?” Tom ducked his head into the trailer. His voice had startled you, as you turned around, you knocked a bowl off the side. “Shit!” You exclaimed, frantically trying to pick the ceramic pieces up. “Im so sorry about that darling” He rushed over and helped you pick up the pieces of the broken bowl. It was soon cleaned up and you stood to face him. “Did you need something?” You asked softly yawning. “Yes actually i-” The breath caught in his throat. Was he actually about to tell the girl hes been pining over for months how he truly feels? “Earth to Tom” You giggled, waving a hand in front of his face, snapping him out of his daze. “Ah yes. I- uh-” He didnt really know how to say it. He felt like a teenager. “ I have a bit of a ‘crush’ on you, if you will” You giggled at his teenage act. “You like me?” You smiled shyly. “Yes. Thats what im trying to say. I was enchanted by you since the first day I met you.” You yawned. “I am so sorry about the yawning, im very tired” He gave a soft smile. “But I also have a bit of a huge ‘crush’ on you too” You smiled up at him. He lay a hand on your cheek. “Thats good to know” He placed a chaste kiss on your lips. A blush dusted on both of your cheeks. His hand still lay on your cheek as he rubbed your cheek bone with his thumb. “No offense Darling, but you look horribly tired, would you like to lay down?” He asked. “Only if you join me” You smiled up at him. He smiled back. “Of course love” With that, he layed down on the couch in your trailer, opening his arms, beckoning you to cuddle with him.

the marauders in class at Hogwarts - headcanons (2)

A/N: here’s another headcanon because i just love these characters so much and im feeling very inspired recently. obviously this is just me describing what i picture when i think of the Marauders, but i honestly kind of love these headcanons and i feel like they fit quite well :)

James

James’ favourite subject is Flying

nothing compares to the feeling he gets when he’s racing against the wind

flying above the grounds of his school

he tends to show off his skills

performing tricks for his fellow classmates

flying out of his teacher’s reach when she scolds him

he doesn’t really pay attention to her remarks, though he does work very hard

he trains a lot because he wants Gryffindor to win the Quidditch cup every year

he’s highly competitive and confident in his abilities

he’s not a bad student in other branches, but he often gets distracted by his mates

he’s always playing pranks on teachers and showing up late to class, tie not made correctly

he absolutely hates anything too mathematical, which automatically ruins Transfiguration, Ancient Ruins, and Astronomy for him

though he still gets rather good grades in those subjects

however he loves Charms and gets excellent grades in that class

he is very clever and he doesn’t mind shoving it in certain people’s *Snape’s- cough cough* faces

when he chooses to work hard, it usually turns out great for him

though he doesn’t often choose to

Sirius

he’s probably the worst student out of all 4 marauders

too busy making his classmates laugh or teachers fume with anger

he’s been to dumbledore’s office so many times, he couldn’t even count them if he tried

he often finds himself in detention with Mrs. McGonagall, who keeps a very sharp eye on him

they always end up chatting towards the end of detention though

he would never admit it, but she’s his favourite teacher

he finds her brilliant and he adores pushing her buttons

Sirius is smart, but he gets bored easily, and his love for adventure gets in the way of long hours of work

he only really enjoys one class which is Defence Against the Dark Arts, because it’s the only one in which he can actually do something

it’s also because it’s the only class he actually finds useful aside from Charms

he is however a gifted wizard and even though he isn’t a very devoted student, his magical prowess never ceases to amaze the staff members of Hogwarts

his favourite spell is Wingardium Leviosa, with the occasional Alohomora

they always come in quite handy

Remus

while Sirius is the worst student in the group, Remus is definitely the best

he loves learning about magic

he also loves reading, which explains why he enjoys History of Magic so much

he’s always sitting somewhere beside a fire or against a cool window, reading a book about mythical creatures or about unfamiliar hexes

he’s passionate about Defence Against the Dark Arts, and he’s oftentimes caught waving his wand at objects in the dormitory, practicing his spells

it’s no surprise he’s the one who’s always helping his friends out with their homework

he never complains about their lack of work or motivation

he’s always willing to help them, unless he’s in a very bad mood

when he has his off days, he pretends he’s got a lot of work to do

when really he just stares into the void, unable to concentrate on his books

aside from those days, Remus pays a lot of attention to his classes

he enjoys each and every one of them for different reasons, though some more than others

if he had to pick one class he really didn’t like, it’d have to be Divination

he doesn’t like its illogical and inconsistent characteristics

Peter

Peter’s not good in school, but he isn’t bad either

he’s just average

in everything

he’s not particularly passionate about anything, though he really enjoys Potions

unlike most things in life, if you follow the instructions properly, you always get the result you were hoping for, and that’s why he likes it so much

Peter works a lot but his grades unfortunately don’t always match up to his efforts

he gets very annoyed when James or Sirius get better points than him, especially when they boast about barely studying for the test

he thought he’d enjoy Flying, but his first experience on a broom traumatised him so badly he got a special permission slip not to have to keep attending the class

James used to tease him about it but eventually offered to help him deal with his fear of heights, a proposition he gratefully declined

while he isn’t particularly talented or skilled, he’s a very good listener, and he enjoys listening to his teachers talk, especially when they’re passionate about their subject

he often asks Remus for extra help or explanations and Remus gladly helps him out

he might not be an exceptional wizard, but Peter always tries his best

When she first met him, it was right after the disaster of New York

She was sitting on the starks tower balcony near the heliport.

Looking down at the world below, it was quite windy that day, and when she shivered he put his cape on her.

--cold miss stark?--stark thor, patting her back.

-- A bit, thank you though-- said jerico,smiling at him.

Then,after Jane broke up with him, she was there to comfort him, and their friendshipp grew with every passing day.

--yknow-- said Clint,-- I bet jerico could lift that hammer-- it was during a party that thor just wanted to mess around with the team.

--oh shut it barton -- said jerico.

--oh come on its worth a try!-- added the god of thunder pulling his friend closer to him.

--nope, just like nat said thats not a question I need answered

When the ultron mess happened, he was the first one to tell her to go somewhere safe.

-- I cant Belive im saying this-- Tony stark said-- but I agree with pointbreak here, youll be safe somewhere else

So she was sent away.

Jerico waited happily for his return to the earth, bringing his people here with him.

What followed was a slaughter.

And now here he was in New asgard.

--i dont even think the beers gonna do it-- said rocket.

-- I dont want to resort to this..-- said hulk.

--resort to what?

Thor almost spits his beer when he sees her again, he hugs jerico tightly, and he sighs,sniffing.

--jerico...what?--he tears up-- I dont want you to see me like this

Jer sighed, hugging him again-- youre the same thor that gave me his cape when I felt cold, thats what matters

The god of thunder looked at hulk and rocket-- im in then...

Tony, for his daughters safe keeping forbid her to help with the time travel, so she anxiously waited...and Waited.

--Dad!-- shouted Morgan hugging Tony, followed by jerico.

--And uncle thor!

Jer almost cries when he sees him, she hugs him tightly,and he hugs back.

--im back-- he whispered to her.

And even though he said he was going to go to space with the guardians, a part of him never left her.

--Peter I told you, Moms making dinner and she said theres a special guest coming, want me to pick you up?...okay...okay see you in ten , bye take care

--hey-- said pepper as jerico cut the call-- I promise its going to be okay

--why wont you tell me who it is?-- she asked to his mother.

-- because its a surprise, now go help dad set the table okay?

--yes mom

Twenty minutes later he arrived,if it Wasnt because she was too shocked she wouldve at least gasped.

-- thor! Oh thank god youre back!--she hugged her friend tightly as she could, he hugged back-- howd it go?

The Man laughed-- let me tell you about my great stories during dinner my friend, its been too long

During dinner, the god of thunder talked about his adventures with the guardians, skipping the Gore and gruesome details for Morgans well being.

And since then hes been staying at the compound.

--Thor! Wake up!-- jerico said banging on the door of her friend.

--Five more minutes!

--its your first day of getting better come on

Theres a silence that lasts some seconds before she hears him get out of bed and dressed.

--once, you helped me-- said she handing him some dumbells-- let me help you, youre my friend and I want you to be happy

-- I am happy!

--youre using food to cope, since loki came back from lord knows where, youve been eating more, doctors orders is a clean diet, workout and Friends support

-- your earth doctors dont know about asgardians

-- do they not now?-- she quipped patting his arm-- come on we got work to do

The first week was hard to get trough, the second it started well.

--thank you for helping me with my hair jerico-- said thor, handing his friend the shampoo.

-- hey Man whenever you need me-- answered the human cleaning her Friends hair.

He wont tell why he let her help him, after all that happened he couldnt loose her, she was his closest friend, she was there when the world was rough, and stuck with him through it all.

But the feelings he had for here went far more than that , but would she even like him?.

He didnt know the answer to It, but if he did he would be surprised.

-- hey...youre quiet, you okay?-- asked jer.

-- no no im fine, just thinking

-- bout what? If its not too personal

--well, I didnt think itd go like this -- said the Man cleaning his beard-- when I first met you all those years ago, I was in love with you, the more years went on and things that happened I realized that the feelings I had for you were there, I never thought id say it, I was scared for the first time, of course this whole thing was a little bit more romantic in my mind,but here we are

Jerico smiled kissing his cheek-- finish taking a bath so we can have a proper declaration okay?

The Man nodds smiling.

After he bathed and changed he let her in his room again.

--i love you-- he said hugging her tightly like they did all those times before.

--me too-- she answered kissing him, he kissed back pressing his face on her neck.

-- what would I do without you...-- he whispered tightening his hug.

--dont ponder on that, focus on today, and those Killer Abs you got going on!

He laughed rather loudly, and looked at her-- I got them thanks to you, my dear

He kisses her cheek and smiles-- well, how about some food? After todays workout im starving

-- hmm I could use some food too, do you think our secret supply is still intact?

Both walk down the stairs to the kitchen

Deadly serious he goes--it better be

Both laugh and thor kisses jerico-- though if we have time, we should Cook togheter

--we should...I Like that idea

Thankfully the kitchen was Emtpy, and though the god of thunder didnt mind company, the lack of it made everything a bit more romantic, and special, just the two of them

-- for the years to come-- he said raising his beer glass.

-- for the years to come-- said she clinking her glass with soda with his.

As they Ate toghetet they watched a movie.

For the years to come indeed.

The sunlight peeked through the slight crack in the curtains, creeping softly over your closed eyelids. You groaned, shifting your head further into the pillow you were cuddling silently refusing to wake up. It was the faint smell of cologne simmering in the air and drifting innocently into your nostrils which reluctantly made your eyes open. Of course he was gone. Tony never stayed the night. He usually left soon after the deed was done, sometimes a few hours later if he craved further affection like cuddles. He must of let himself out after you’d fallen asleep.

Hickies and scratches were the only physical evidence of your late night activities, Tony’s scent a reminder that it wasn’t just a filthy dream. Your once pristine bed now a sinful disarray of tousled sweat-stained sheets, pillows scattered on the floor along with the pink bodysuit you’d worn. You willed your heavy heart to stop dwelling on the nostalgia from last night, sometimes you just wished that when you woke up in the morning, Tony was still there. With a shake of your head you pushed the thoughts away reminding yourself that this was only a business arrangement. Sitting up on your bed you felt like you were hungover; your body ached from the unholy acts Tony inflicted upon you. You wouldn’t have it any other way though.

Reaching out you picked up your phone. Your eyes scanned quickly over the various notifications ignoring the ones from Instagram and Snapchat, you were looking for one in particular. The little bit of naive hope you had left was diminished when you saw only a notification from your bank stating that a recent deposit had been made, “Typical”, you murmured, you didn’t know why you still hoped he’d send a good morning text, afterall when did Tony ever text you just to talk?

“Shit!”, groaning you quickly swung your legs over the side of your bed. You were late for work. Again. There was no way your boss, Pete, would tolerate this. Because of Tony you were late for the third time this week, he always wore you into a sleep coma.

You scowled at the burnt out candles as you grabbed a set of work clothes out of a drawer and dashed into your bathroom. A few hours late was better than not turning up at all right? It took you minutes to get ready, grabbing your already packed bag, you left to catch the bus for work hoping that you could still keep your job.

The journey was mundane apart from the anxiety seeping in your bones. You almost turned and bolted way from your place of work but you ignored the apprehension. You couldn’t run from all your problems in life.

Your friend Mia was the first to greet you as you entered the bustling workplace, for an office it sure was lively, “Pete’s gonna have a field day with you”, she teased waltzing past you to the break room, “Is that why you were late again?”. Mia tapped the side of her own neck with a smirk and you suddenly realised you hadn’t covered up the hickies. You couldn’t help but to grin back at her, “Mind your own business”. Mia hovered by the break room doorway to dish out one final taunt, “Y’know I don’t even know why you still work here, if I was getting what you earn in one night I’d retire for life”. Your mood was starting to look up, maybe today wouldn’t be as bad as you first though. Just as you were putting your clock-in sheet back into the slot, Pete popped his head around his office door, “(Y/N)! My office now!”, he did not look happy. Mia tapped your shoulder, “Good luck”, and made her way back to her desk. ‘Spoke too soon’, you thought.

Smiling sheepishly, you leaned through the open door way, “You wanted to see me?”. Your boss nodded his head and motioned for you to come fully into the room. You offered him your sweetest smile, sitting down you clasp your hands in your lap and tried to turn up your charm. He sighed. Rubbing his forehead he finally met your eyes, “I’m gonna keep this to the point (Y/N). I’m making you redundant, you’ve had too many warnings”. You put on your best puppy dog eyes, “Pete please-”, but your boss cut you off, “I told you what would happen a few days ago if you were late again. You’ve had too many chances”. You wanted to protest again. Sure you didn’t need the job but it was something to do on the side to keep a steady income, just in case of emergencies. Ultimately the arrangement you had with Tony wasn’t forever. “No ifs or buts, I want your desk cleared by the end of the day”, Pete said then he wordlessly went back to typing away on his computer signalling the conversation was over. You nodded your head and walked out of his office feeling quite frustrated.

Your mobile vibrated against your hip. You fished it out of your pocket as you dropped onto your office chair:

Thank you so much, guys. I honestly didn’t expect this blog to grow the way it has when I started it. I love this fandom and I love reading for these characters as much as I love writing for them, so let’s celebrate with a challenge, shall we?

Since I reached the milestone before my 1 year anniversary I will as open up drabble requests using a prompts list - I’ll make a post about that as soon as I can.

What the fuck is the DHU again?

Hello hello welcome to Part 1 of at least 6 planned parts of the DHU worldbuilding posts that will be utter nonsense word vomited onto your screen with minimal preplanning. Enjoy. Todays installment: What even is the DHU, why is it a thing, and how did it come to be?

For starters, the DHU stands for the Dark Heart Universe, and in the most basic terms, it’s my extended superhero universe for my various novels. I started the whole concept of the DHU when i first wrote Sparks Fly. Yes, Sparks Fly is the father of all of this nonsense, thanks for that Sparky. I was annoyed that i had to make an entirely new world for it, when i had many (many, many, MANY) superhero stories i was writing or had started writing previously. It was just a pain in the ass, and i wanted one consistent, interlocking world to go off of. I knew it was possible, because the marvel/DC universes exists, and superhero novels exist, and novels in extended universes exist, so i just had to mesh them together. Somehow. Ugh.

I decided that just having superheroes and some weird superhero organization, like you do, wasn’t going to be enough tying together all the ideas i had. Because i had a lot. I wanted something more. And while most novels about superheroes seem to gloss over the how they have their powers, because unlike the comic versions they aren’t pretending to be in our world, it’s a whole other place with whole other rules, i thought if i didn’t gloss over it and gave a consistent reason for why they have powers, it’d blend it together nicely. I wish i never thought of this, because it created so much fucking work and an annoying amount of clunky exposition i have to put into everything to make them each stand alone as well as be a part of the whole.

This lead to the creation of the Dark Heart, this force/god/i dont fucking know, its a debate even in the DHU, that gives Supers their powers. Which led to more and more and more worldbuilding that is still in the works, including but not limited to, new religions, new holidays, new Elements and their personalities, and so on. You’ll hear about all that soon enough. So the Dark Heart ties everything together, as well as the Super’s Association, which again, you’ll hear about soon. And so the DHU was born.

As of 4/19/19, somewhere between 13 and 18 story ideas exist in the DHU (depends on whether you count semi ideas or only ones with plots). Some are for shorter works that were originally posted on my blog wraithjournalism, which was this dumb project i was trying to do for the DHU, that i’m thinking i’m going to nix and just post those stories onto wattpad because it’s so much easier. At least 3 of these are fully completed. Some of the ideas are full novels in various stages of writing, and some are just short stories. Over 70 characters exist at this point, some fully developed, some semi developed, and some only as name drops with a Super name and a power. Everyone has mostly original powers, as i try to avoid simply “fast” as a power, and try to change up the Elemental based powers so they arent all the same. For example, the character Stardust has fire powers, only his fires can burn at any temperature he wants, no matter how hot, but only if he can see what he’s burning. All the Super’s have catches to their powers as well, and i have a plethora of non Super characters, who aren’t included in that count above. What i’m saying is, this thing blew way out of proportion, and there is absolutely no way in hell im ever going to write out all these ideas unless it got big and i found ghost writers (which isn’t ever going to happen lmao).

I felt restless because Allura was “gone” and naturally I was sad. However when I played the scenes of the last episode my head, (this song) kept playing in my head for some reason. I mean it did fit the vibe of the exact song they were playing so I assumed that’s why it was playing in the background of my head. I then got curious what the lyrics were because I knew they did have it. When I read them, I could feel myself tearing up. The Shallura feels were strong but I could feel the ache for the whole team.

Hey icm super glad you love it! Itcs all from the same one amazing artist who can do like 40 styles and draws loki from all of his different continuities! Im so glad i found a secret treasure trove of lokes!Oh and lol its also good to find some Non Problematic content of him for once, i donct reblog him ofteb cos its so hard to dig through the piles of creepy crud that occupy all the most popular slots in his tag. Like i mean eww the in/cest th/or/ki ship or whatever its called. (Slashes so it doesnt go in the tag, cos i dont wanna send shipping hate or anything.) It really creeps me out that its the most popular ship, cos even if loki is adopted they still grew up together from goddamn birth. Like usually at least these nebulous 'not blood related' ships are all 'well i just met my long lost brother as an adult and fell in love not knowing he's my brother' or somethibg. Still creeps me out but at least i can see the reasoning why other people aren't creeped, kinda. Aaagh why is it so hard to find wholesome childhood antucs with brothers who love each other in the normal brother way!!Oh and im not actually a HUGE fan of marvel loki? I personally prefer the original norse myth and only got into marvel loki cos i found the tags full of him and empty of anything else, lol. But he's still a good! If anything he'd be better as his own original character tho, which is why i prefer the changes made in the movie version. (Eveb if it has its own complaints like how they didnt develop him enough and never revisit his damn jotun backstory when its ALL WE WANT, MARVEL)Oh and funny random trivia is that even tho myth loki lacks the in/cest problem, him and thor is still a creepy ship cos he's actually his dad's age. Super stuck up myth accuracy obsessed teenage me could never get past this fact! Seriously it was such a weird choice to make loki thor's brother when he was odin's age in the myths. Like he was basically thor's godfather?? And also him and thor were 99% fun friendship adventures both on the hero side, instead of always at odds with only occasionally loki switching to the good. Srsly everyone forgets that myth loki was a 'good guy' for most of the story because his switch to a villain in the final ragnorok myth is so memorable. And i mean the myth aesir were more pragmatically neutral than 100% good anyway. Everyone was flawed which was why it was sad they dissolved into conflict in the end and destroyed each other. Loki wasnt some big destined evil coming out of nowhere to attack asgard, he was asgard attacking itself due to petty squabbling and causing its own downfall. So in a sense thats a way the marvel universe is accurate!Oh and myth loki also always knew he was a jotun lol,which makes it double frustrating that they made him have this inherantly sympathetic plot of lost selfhood and then NEVER FOLLOWED UP ON IT! Especially when they gave him a cool as fuck "true form" instead of making jotun look exactly like the other gods except generally stereotypically 'dumb'. Seriously loki being a small jotunn wasnt even super unusual, they weren't all giants even. There wasn't much consistancy to it though, sometimes the more main character-y chessmaster jotun were small and had shapeshifter powers, but also there were magical big ones and dumb orcish small ones and everything in between. And the rules of loki's magic seemed to change all the time too, lol! Mythology has way less internal continuity than actual books or movies, since its passed down orally for centuries after all.who even knows what's changed in all that time?Aaaaagh im rambling so offtopic yo cos mythology is so interesting and so is comic books and the MCU!!!Anyway Loki Is Good In All Of His Myriad FormsOh but even though i generally don't like comic loki as much, i do enjpy that they've recently made it canonical that he's genderfluid like his myth counterpart. You go loki you lgbt icon!!! Mcu version how bout adding some of that?Oh and i havent seen thor ragnorok or the thanos thing yet, cos i kinda lost interest in later thor movies cos well i was always here for loki instead of thor, lol. Its hard to keep track of exactly which mcu movies he was in when its like.. Half of his own series and 75% of everyone else's. But i do know generally what happens in those two, like how loki FINALLY gets redeemed and has cute brother scenes that have become Every Meme.and then he apparantky gets killed off at some point but tbh i dont believe it considerinh how many other times he's died and come back in other films/comics/tv shows/the everything. Nooooone dies like Loki! Always fries like Loki! Has mortality based on pure lies like Loki!God im in such a fandom mode right now aaagh youve set me off xD

my thoughts on the bullshit (marvel vs capcom: infinite)

its so fuckin wack. when they announced 2v2 i was hoping it was gonna be like tatsunoko (which is the best vs series imo) and its not Awful but it feels a lot slower and kinda clunkier? idk the parts i did like was that tagging feels more dynamic and i like the idea of the gems being like the grooves in cvs2 but that’s it? im not a fan of the autocombos and the down down motions shouldn’t be in a capcom game with all the other quarter circles and charges etc. i definitely do need to spend more time with it and hearing about how creative you can be with the mechanics from the pros that are playing it at e3 is a good sign but idk first impressions from me aren’t good.

but ok enough about gameplay i wanna talk about the real shit. that being capcom and disney and the fgc because i think that’s the real reason why this game is gonna be so blah

im a huge marvel head bc it was the first fighting game i really got into once i discovered the fgc (and you know its fun as hell and the first friends i made in college were the kids down the hall i played umvc3 with every weekend). part of the reason why its so fun is because its so God Damn HYPE like look at this shit and tell me you dont get fired up watching this vid and wanna play:

and this brings me into the main reason why i think this game is gonna be bad and flop again and its marvel and disney. we already know about capcoms money, lack of talent, and planning issues with their fighting game department and mvci is set to repeat all the same mistakes they did with sfv (lacking content, corny ass story mode, small roster, LOTS OF DLC) but that’s just one part of it.

the whole game to me just wreaks of a cash grab from disney/marvel to both 1. get that sweet sweet injustice money 2. sell more mcu stuff to nerds and 3. get more people invested in the fighting game market to benefit capcom. yes i understand games are made to make money. the point i’m trying to make here is that this is the result when you get game and media companies who don’t understand why fans love something and try to make something as a response to it.

the modern marvel owned by disney and the pieces of media they put out are carefully constructed and sanitized to show you what they want to see, which is what makes them the most money and what gets you looking away from the other studios that control the rest of their characters, notably xmen. i guarantee you someone at disney was shown the above video about mvc hype and was like “oh we dont want this kind of crowd at our game. this is gonna scare away people.” this coupled with the whole simplification aspect of the game (which i’ll get to in a bit) shows that disney doesn’t really know how the fgc works or how people get excited about these games which is big moments, nostalgia and generally fun shit! not the cheesy ass story mode they’re making which based on the demo is mcu and capcom characters doing nothing but saying each other’s names and having cheeky banter with the lads then punching some robots. the whole game itself feels very MCU oriented from the looks to the sounds and it makes for one really uncompelling package that’s a lot less hype than previous games in the series.

im all for making fighting games more accessible and helping the scene grow but the simplification of the controls and inputs feels really half baked and it seems like capcom doesn’t really know how to draw newbies in. replacing shoryuken inputs but leaving in charges and reverting back to the more complex mvc2 style buttons (lp, lk, hk, hp) as opposed to a friendlier l m h s from mvc3 seems weird and the down down input they added doesn’t fit in with the vibe of the other move inputs as well. as injustice has shown us making a Good ass game with a lot of single player content will get people interested in fighting games enough to buy em and some of those new players will eventually learn enough to get good and start competing. for whatever reason capcom cannot learn these lessons and i feel like the choices they made to simplify the game might turn off current players and thus make the game less popular, leading to a loss loss situation between fg pros and newcomers.

idk this is a wicked messy post but marvel is the game that got me really into FGs and i’ve made so many friends through it and to see what was my favorite fighting game become the lifeless husk we have now is so depressing but i hope capcom learns something from this (they prob wont). we’ll see how it turns out i guess. lmk what you think of all this too
