" y/n" i heard and i turned to see quinn. the girl had a mischievous smile on her face and I didn't like it.

"whats up q?" i asked her. i didn't know what else to say.

"can you come with me? im trying to get this door open but it wont budge at all" she stated and I should've thought about it but I didn't think it through.

"yeah sure" i said and i stood up from my seat as I followed after the girl. i looked at the doors until we got to one

"HEY LET ME OUT" i heard and I turned to quinn.

"is someone locked in there?" i asked her and she smirked and she shoved me into the room ,locking the door from the outside. my hands landed on someones chest and I looked up to see ethan. he looked down at me and I looked up at him.

"hey" he said , his breathing calming down and he looked calmer too.

"hi" i said and we heard quinn giggle outside of the door. his hands were rested on my waist but I didn't think of that right now. i had one thought on my mind, quinn and why the hell she had locked us in here together.

in truth it was obvious, i got drunk once and I told her that I liked him , I said I wouldn't tell him because it was clear that he didn't like me back but now I don't know. you wouldn't lock two people in a room together if they both didn't like each other the same way.

"quinn what the hell? let us out of here" I stated and she giggled more

"not until you admit that you like each other" she called and she walked away from the door. ethan laid his head on my back as I laid my head on the door and sighed.

"shes not going to let us out" he stated and i nodded

"okay well she already said it so i guess i will too. i like you ethan, i really really truly deeply like you, i like your smile and your hair and the way you care about the earth. i like the way you think and the way you smell and the way you feel. i like you" i exclaimed and he stared at me. i turned and looked him in the eyes.

"say something" i whispered and he launched forward as he kissed me and I kissed him back. i held his face as he held my waist, for someone whos a virgin and never had a girlfriend, he's good at this. a little too good but I didn't care. i ran my hands up into his hair and he pulled me closer into him.

"is this okay?" he whispered and i nodded, he put his hands under my shirt and he lifted it over my head. i put my hands on his waist and I did the same thing to him. his shirt was thrown across the room but it didn't matter. he lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist as he brought me over to the bed. he laid on top of me and began to kiss down my chest. he left hickeys on my neck, chest and stomach

"y/n" he said and i looked down at him.

"i like you too by the way if you couldn't tell" he said with a smile on his face and I laughed as he did too. he brought himself back up to my height and kissed me again. i ran my hands through his hair as I began to leave hickeys on him too.

it felt nice , it felt good.

"be my girlfriend" he said as he kissed me and I kissed him

"i thought you would never ask" i stated with a laugh and he laughed too.

"well i had to at some point" he exclaimed

im just happy that quinn tricked us

Funny random thought the hashiras playing smash or pass with each other who would smash who and who would get passed? 👀

Hmmm. Well, right off the bat, this is how I view such a scenario with the Hashira playing Smash or Pass with each other:

Gyomei probably wouldn’t smash any of the Hashira as he’s concerned he’ll actual smash them and hurt them but he politely passes them all. He doesn’t know what the smash actually means

Tengen smashes the girls and then Kyojuro as a joke, just for Kyojuro to repeat it back on him. Though, he proclaims it was a joke

Giyuu wont smash any of the Hashira as he isn’t attracted to any of them. He doesn’t even want to be playing the game

Muichiro won’t smash any of the Hashira either as he just sees them as friends. None of the Hashira would smash him back as they’d never touch a child

Mitsuri would probably smash a few Hashira. She picks Giyuu as she feels bad for him, Tengen because she is curious of how experienced he actually is and Obanai for obvious reasons, but politely pass everybody else

Kyojuro would most likely smash absolutely every Hashira as he is happy to spread the love around to all of the people he cares about. Poor man isn’t aware of what “Smash” in “Smash or Pass” means

Obanai will harshly pass everybody but spam smash on Mitsuri, getting to bang Mitsuri is his absolute dream. He would probably make jokes about half-smashing Sanemi

Shinobu has very little interest in all the Hashira so it’d be many passes. Like Mitsuri, she’d pity smash Giyuu but also smash Kyojuro as she appreciates his kindness

Sanemi would smash Mitsuri to test out his curiosity(but he’d get eaten alive by his bestie so he doesn’t say so) otherwise, he passes every other Hashira. He also makes jokes back about half-smashing Obanai

That’s how I see it, i don’t know about you! But I found this kinda fun to think about

- she’s a knight, honor and righteousness flow in her very veins, and she has been undervalued her entire life, denied of genuine romantic love and affection - and you think that those combined factors of her life WONT culminate in her being overprotective of you?

- Brienne is rational, she will not lose composure unless you are seriously upset/hurt, but if anyone threatens your honor, she will defend you with a broad stance, raised sword and very heartfelt speech before (probably) knocking a man to the ground (at the very least)

- she comes back to your tent with her head hanging, and you’re like “umm Brienne is everything alright” and she sighs and says “I accidentally killed him…” and you’re like “…the man that called me an ugly whore?” and she’s like “…yes 😔👀”

- when she meets you, she is certain that the training she has had her whole life has been in preparation for keeping you, her love, safe

- in the face of others flirting with you, Brienne will first combat her own insecurities (this will get easier the longer you are together) and have to convince herself she does deserve you, but her interrupting the conversation will mainly be fuelled by your obvious discomfort in the presence of whoever is flirting with you

- but she never wants to come across as possessive or overprotective, she never wants you to think that she thinks she owns you (rude bc she does), so she will verbally deny her sulking/sword swinging reactions to scenarios in which she is made protective/jealous

- Brienne’s expression never fails to give away her true feelings, so you always know, and you think she’s utterly adorable

ive been sitting on this in my inbox for so long just trying to collect my thoughts and so many ppl have asked me that...now it is time.....ok

i think the thing i want to talk most about is the beginning of their relationship and what their relationship actually is ...like what about it is making me lose my marbles...i want to get all of this information out because as the ceo of petyle i need everyone to understand how they are characterised and how to correctly view their relationship. anything outside what i think is simply lies and flanderization..../hj.........

i typically default to college-age setting so thats what ill be centering on but my ideas of their dynamic can be malleable to other ages (canon, high school, post covid at a stretch etc)

pete has always been interested in kyle from a distance- theyve never really spoken, but after stan becomes a normie again after his goth stint michael points stan out at school like 'look at that conformist lol' and petes like 'yeah what a loser. also who the fuck is the guy in green.'

we've seen from basic cable where he has a crush on sophie that he isnt necessarily afraid of putting himself out there when hes interested in someone but hes kind of awkward about it. so he approaches kyle a couple of times to see what his deal is. this makes all the other goth kids INSANE like not in a negative way they r either in disbelief (michael, firkle) or think its hilarious (henrietta) that pete has a crush on kyle, he massively denies its a romantic thing tho bc hes not a gaywad...he just wants to know whats up with this guy and why hes so interesting

ngl kyle is probably suspicious or at least confused as why pete has started talking to him once hes over the initial weirdness he realises pete is kind of chill but the award palatable small talk hes trying to have with kyle is really annoying kyle def snaps at some point and asks him what the fuck pete is trying to gain out of this because its obvious hes not being himself.

pete is stubborn enough to not back down atp, hes not gonna let a conformist own him like that. so he starts being himself so much, to a degree where hes almost saying 'you wanted this, fine here you fucking go' in order to make kyle upset. but it doesnt work oh no!! kyle finds his goth eccentricities and pessimism so stupid thats its endearing!!!

nothing between them is inherently romantic or even entirely..friendly. more than anything they enjoy annoying each other in a constant loop of quips and rolled eyes. but theres just like.. something fiery underneath they wont address until they get wasted at a house party and let the alcohol do the talking

i have a habit of favouring either onesided petyle (on petes side ofc) or one that ends with a bad breakup because #stylesweep so a lot of my thoughts are biased towards that sort of ending. i just like relationship/situationship angst ok ...ive been there many times. a part of this angst is the idea that theyre each just 'the best they can get' in the moment. Pete's too internally self loathing to think kyle is actually in love with him or anything. theyre just having fun. its not serious. he refuses to think into any of it emotionally, though its kind of eating him up inside. meanwhile kyle is literally just taking it as it is. he feels a little guilty. he doesnt like pete like that (???) but he cant deny flirting and fooling around with him is fun. and also a distraction from stan getting back with wendy.

anyway thats what i have for now. let me know if anyone wants any more i guess. or any specifics about their actual relationship that i have bouncing around. idk!

Okay so this one is heavily inspired by the legalities of kidnapping a part of I saw it once in a dream series by stainedXglassXmasquerade I love it if you didn't read it you should and my frustration with tye fics where Sabo doesn't run away from his family bc y'all what about Garp!?

So Sabo doesn't run away on that day allowing Ace to actually find him, Sabo wants to run away but doesn't want to endanger his brothers and Ace & Luffy want him to be free, Sabo convinces them to give him time to plan and they agree

In that period Garp returns to the island bc a celestial was just here! He needs to make sure the brats are alright!

The brats aren't alright, they aren't complete too

He gets Luffy and Ace to spill and he's like hmm yeah I can see the problem.

Cue Garp dusting off his uniform telling them wait a bit, he comes back at the end of the day with Monkey D Sabo the newest addition to the Monkey family legally the only grandson

Garp: Hey Tsuru! Can you send me that recruitment paper for Nobels? Oh and some adoption papers

Tsuru:...what are you doing and will I bear the consequences?

Garp: I'm stealing a grandson! I saw him hunt his food and made me nostalgic! What better way to make my holidays entertaining than training the next generation? BWAHAHAHA

Tsuru:... I'm ignoring everything you just said and will send everything, anything happens and I don't know anything about this.

Garp is able to make a plan with Sabo where they make a scene, Sabo does something & Garp is there to say wow this man has the potential to be a great Marine kinda making the Outlooks look bad if they refuse to make their son a marine after The Hero of the Marine just said that in front of all of high town & so Garp slips the adoption papers in the middle of the recruitment paper and ta-da you have Monkey D Sabo the only legal grandson of Garp the fist and an actual reason he could visit more/stay longer without the WG looking more into it :3

Sabo: How did you get here with no one noticing you

Garp: By being a great Marine like you will >:3

I like to think Sabo really didn't know who Garp is except some strong old marine with horrible taste in fashion, and this will be the first time the brothers will actually notice holy shit he actually is smart

I love Garp and wish more fics really show that he loves his grandkids and that they love him back but alas :')

i'd say most prob yes about SM4, he probably just cant say much but from the way hes talking it seems like he probably wont sign up for more than one movie at a time.

I think it would be smart to only sign up for one movie at a time as well.

I'm kinda wondering if maybe he's not really feeling the direction that Sony (or Disney actually) is wanting to go with his Spiderman character in the MCU? 🤔

Because to me, NWH left us with a perfect cliffhanger, and a very obvious direction in which most of the characters could pick up again, especially if they age them a few years and make them in college or post-college. 🤷🏾‍♀️

But maybe the issue is deeper than that. I def get the impression that Tom doesn't want to just continue to make Spiderman movies at all costs if the films aren't written well. 👀

I'm sure Sony and Disney will continue to make Spidey films regardless, but the question is, will Tom want to be part of them? 🤔

Either way, I'm all for Tom taking a break if he doesn't want to rush back into the character so soon. It seems he might not be in any rush to get back into the suit unless it's really worth it, which, I can respect that.

He might also want to do OTHER projects as well (like so many of you suggest), and not be so stuck to one character. He said it's already been 8 years. 🤷🏾‍♀️

She stares at him from across the bar. She's coming back from the ladies room. He's engaged in conversation. Smiling small and cocksure like he is wont to do around women. A young woman, blonde hair, blue eyes, cleavage... adequate. She's looking at Joel with big, moony eyes. Talking to him in a high, playful tone that is shrill on Tess's ear. Her smile is too wide, too white to exist in the post-apocalypse.

"Fuckin' playboy bunny ass bitch," Tess mutters under her breath as she crosses the floor towards the flirting pair.

Joel is a fine looking man, especially for his age. His fifties have been kind to him. And, even though Jackson has softened his angles some, he's still all planes and broad shoulders and obvious strength beneath his flannel.

There is an obvious hickey on his neck, just beneath his stubble. Tess left it there last night, a stark statement of mine. Apparently it isn't clear enough, because the blonde extends a hand to brush Joel's bare forearm, laughing, twirling her pretty golden hair.

Tess rolls her eyes, but the liquor is like fire in her gut, and it emboldens her to close the distance between them. She doesn't have the patience for Joel's games tonight.

She knows the game he's playing. Sometimes she plays it, too. But its never not infuriating to watch him with another, younger, prettier woman.

Gritting her teeth she butts into their quiet conversation. She sidles up against Joel's big body, pressing into his side, "Hey, baby," grabs his jaw and angles him in a slow, languid kiss that tastes of rum and homebrew.

Joel grunts into her lips, surprised initially, but then he kisses her back with enthusiasm. The young woman makes a sound of mingled disgust and confusion.

When Tess reaches for the crotch of his jeans he does not shy away. The alcohol has done away with most of their social inhibition. He's hard, of course. He's always hard for his Tess.

"Excuse me," the blonde says, snide. Her lip is curled, hands clutching at her purse. Cleavage puffed in offense.

With a long sigh, Tess breaks the kiss. Joel nuzzles into her throat, kissing and sucking the tender skin there as she combs her fingers through his silvery hair. Her responding laughter is light and confident.

"Can I help you, sweetheart?" They've earned themselves some attention now. Eyes on them. Joel and Tess never fail to make some sort of a scene on a Friday night. Tess, tipsy, is happy to give the town gossips a bit of a show.

"Um," The blonde stares at her incredulously. "We were talking, bitch."

Tess chuckles and forces Joel off of her neck. Her skin is a mottle of red from his lips and teeth and stubble. He keeps an arm wrapped firmly around her waist, thumb circling possessively on her hip. He gives the woman an apologetic smile. He was only using her to rile his woman up, after all.

"Honey I'm guessing you're new around here. Because everyone in the state of Wyoming knows who this man belongs to. And it isn't you, bitch."

The woman balks with a high-pitched noise of disbelief, she opens her mouth to escalate but Tess silences her with another throaty laugh.

"Nah, we're done here. You couldn't handle a man like him anyways, sweetheart." Tess slaps the counter, calls for another two shots of whiskey. Joel is on her again, murmuring incoherently against the shell of her ear. Tess shivers, leaning into him.

"Excuse me but-

"Get lost," Tess replies without sparing the woman so much as a glance. She kisses Joel again, lazy and hungry.

The bartender places two shot glasses on the counter and fills them with amber liquid. He grins at the pair as the blonde scoffs and stalks off back to the group she arrived with.

"Take it outside you two," the bartender says, only half-joking.

"Yeah, yeah," Tess mutters, and she knocks back the shot. Joel takes his as well.

"You wanna go home, big guy?" she murmurs against this jaw, palms flat on his broad chest.

"Nnng," he rumbles, "Can't make it home, Tessa."

She smirks, "You're gonna have to, the shit I got planned for you, Texas."

She leads him outside, around the back of the Tipsy Bison. A floodlight flickers over a dumpster. Fresh fallen snow crunches under their feet.

Abruptly, once she is certain they are alone. Tess seizes him by the front of his shirt and slams him up against the wooden siding of the building. It rattles, and above them a few small icicles are shaken loose from the eaves.

"Tess?" He breathes, eyes darkening.

She bites her lower lip as she contemplates just what to do with him. He's been bad, and that cannot stand.

She palms him through the front of his jeans. The line of him is thick, full, pressing into his fly in a manner which must be painful.

"You need to come?" She rasps, kisses his throat, his jaw, nibbles the shell of his ear.

Joel swallows thickly, hands cupping under her ass, threatening to lift her and flip her around so he can rut into her clothed core.

"Nope," she swats his hands away, and they settle on her waist. "C'mon. Home. Now."

"Yes, ma'am," She drags him home by his hand, her nails biting into his wrist the whole way so he knows exactly who is in charge on this night.

He was flirting with some blonde bimbo with the express purpose of getting her mad, and Tess has happily taken the bait.

Hello just got the courage to read cbmthy chapter 17 and resprectfully wtf. How can a person have the incredible ability to write such gut wreching angst, I wil never know how you do it. What can I say beside the obvious, you are a great writer and please dont stop writting, the way you create such captivating character and write SJM characters so realistic and three dimensional is incredible. And you overdid yourself on the angst on this chapter. Mor's "maybe you arent made for first choice" is the most visceral reaction causing line from this ff so far for me and I though Azriels burden one was rough oh boy. Speaking of our shadow man, what if he was awake the whole time and Mor didnt want reader to talk to him in that moment and he heared everything dum dum dummm...Maybe after our girlie moves into Bas's place and returnes what stuff Mor bought her that day in Velaris 'as a birthday gift' that day at her room s doorstep, and gets some time to find herself, maybe Azriel can actually allow the reader to reveal who she is as a person and maybe stand against Mor if she continues her mean girl behaviour against reader, cause girlie she didnt go to Autumn to hurt/ create a plan with Eris to hurt you. She went there because lack of connections and the weight of the feeling she isnt enough to allow herself to share her "burdens " with her sisters and the IC was crushing the girl. I reeallly hope Azriel clarifies the situation the whole prophecy and reader train of though because we know the IC wont listen to it fully otherwise. But afterall you know Azriel well and I trust to give us the most fluffy scenes between them when the time is right, cause our girls self esteem was low but now with the way her hands look and how she feels about them is down bad, Azriel can surely relate and offer this girl for once some reassurance.I hope you can give us a cameo of Eris and reader once in a while , their ring exchange screams 'summer camp friendship bracelet exchange'and I found it so damn adorable. I— thank you so much 😭 I honestly believe it’s just because people have chosen to engage with the fic and the reader and because of that choice are more immersed so certain parts hit harder? So to start, it's wildly fucking obvious how much love, blood, sweat, and tears has been put into this fic. Yes, they only have three chapters posted, but the entire fic is written and they are posting weekly, so you'll have something to look forward to! Even though I'm beta'ing this project for them, I'm absolutely not biased when I say that this is a fantastic fic, a super unique and intriguing concept, and has a nail-biter of a plotline. And yes, I've read the entire fic AND YOU'RE IN FOR A WHILE FUCKING RIDE FRIENDS. Yes, it is a dark fic (so mind those tags!), but it's got everything I ever wanted in a darkfic (sex, drugs, rock and roll, and oh so much grit). And also... peep that eventual happy ending tag. 👀👀👀 Even besides the content, the style of these two writers meshes SO WELL together.

1000000/10 recommend reading and following if this these themes are your cup of tea. You absolutely wont regret!

(Spoilers ahead)

So, in the new trilogy, the main character is Rey (no last name), an feral gremlin of an orphan who lives ona desert planet and has learned about the rebellion in ancient texts and loves them. One day she meets Finn (ex stormtrooper) and bb8 (adorable nb droid) and they both say they have to bring bb8 to The Rebellion. Rey, being an adorable nerd, absolutly beams with joy and does this, with adventures along the way. There's also Poe Dameron, super cool pilots and best bud with bb8, who keeps doing heart eyes to Finn and has helped him escape. The bad guy of the story is Kylo Ren aka Quiche Lorraine aka the poser emo son of Han and Leia, who idolizes Darth Vador and wants to rebuild the Space Nazi Dictatorship (it's not subtle : theit logo is black thing in white circle on a red background).

So what kind of ship do we have, here ? Rey(white woman) with Finn (black man), about overcoming what you're born into and being your own hero. There's Finn (black man) and Poe (latino man), about being bickering best friend and saving eachother. Or, there's the white man (Kylo Ren), and you can ship him with Rey to make the Heterosexual White Couple where the woman has to redeem the man.

Please note that during the first film, Kylo tortured Rey (and Poe), and they fought a lot. And Kyle was like "uh maybe i can be saved... SIKE it was a ruse to kill my dad".

In large, the internet flocked to FinnPoe... or to Reylo. The Reylo stan were *unsufferable*, attacking people who were saying that the SpaceDictator was a bad man (one unironically said that people should be nicebeing seeing his dad die in frontof hiseyes surely traumatized him, forgetting that he *killed* him) and making up Tumblr Fake Stories about recieving free crepes by a fellow Reylo shipper, The Most Opressed Group Of All time. Dont get me wrong, there was definetly a large anti-reylo movement, because of the inherent mysoginy of the "she can can save him from himself" trope, the "shipping a woman with her abuser" and the obvious need to thirst on the single white man when John Boyega and Oscar Isaac here here, but the Reylo were sooo much more vocal.

The 2nd movie was super divisive for a lot of reasons, mostly that it didnt look like any other star wars film and subverted a lot of expectations. I wont get into,but i really liked it. There was this whole thing about a secret bad guy forming a mental bond between Rey and Kylo, and Kylo trying to manipulate her to come to the dark side and Rey thinking "Leia is nice, i will do all i can to bring her son back to her and save him". But at the end of the film she realizes he can't be saved if he doesn't *want* to be saved and she cuts the connection bc she's badass. She has empathy for him but she cares about *the million of people he opresses and kill* more. The reactionto the film were EXPLOSIVE, and the Reylo shipper kind of harassed everyone (to be fqire they werent the only one, Mary Tran, the only asian woman of the whole star wars universe, had to delete her social media in part bc he character kissed Finn and in partbc she dared to be an asianwomanin a star wars)

The the 3rd film arrived, and it was... a shit show. Jj abraams retconned all the interesting bits of the 2nd film, Mary Tran character basically disappeared, the latino man was revealed to be a drug dealer, palpatine (bad guy from trilogy 1 and 2) arrived out of NOWHERE, i cant emphasize enough how he was dead and not even metionned before that film, Rey was revealed to be a Super Special hereditary mc guffin and she can bring people back to life now, Finn says "Rey i have something to say to you!" and never says what it is, and Kylo Ren said "mh maybe palpatine is evil, i should repent and be a good guy now". So him and Rey join force in a (granted, impressively choreographed) fight scene, and he dies and she kisses him (which does not bring him back to life despite the tchekov's gun before) and the good guys whin. Jj abraams said later that they should have written a 3 movie scenario instead of making things up as they go. A lot of people theorize that the retcon and the reylo change of heart/redemption arc had come bc of the reylo stan outcry online.

So, there. A brief history of Reylo and why a lot of people (me included) think it sucks. I'm gonna be honest, the Reylo stans are a big part of it.
