First of all This is a dominant duo tho...

Okay so if we imagine these two as the ones you met at the university ground when you were heart-broken because of the sudden news of your boyfriend cheating on you. It wasn't too surprising for you because the way he was ignorant of you, it was as if only you who was trying hard to keep it strong but somehow it crashed in the end.

"y/n, why are you here alone?" of course Jaemin would be the one to have a concern visible on his face and would approach you, with Jeno closely trailing behind him and both of their gazes fixed on your crying form.

and if you hesitate to reply then the other would be repeating the same question with a dark look, "he asked you something so you better reply."

after explaining to them everything, they wont leave your side for the time being, or maybe for the following few days. you have noticed it before that they would always be around whenever there is a little misfortunate events in your life and many doubt that maybe you are sleeping around with them. the rumors frustrates you a lot but them--they enjoy it a lot.

now that you don't have a bf, mostly to their advantage. they are happily hanging out with you more. keeping an eye on you where you are going or with whom are talking to, also always popping out of nowhere to ask if you are okay or there's something bothering you. they would make you feel like a reliable on them.

cuddles with Jaemin is a daily dose for your exhausted day but when Jeno welcoming you in a warm hug, it's as if you have seen a heaven in reality.

but there's something to notice...

Jaemin is the kind and adorable sweetheart of the campus. his bunny smile with cute sparkling eyes makes others drool over him but the buff body with those tight muscles hiding beneath his hoodies and t-shirts are often left unnoticed by his soft look. he has a flirty personality and with a click, everyone will be in a queue for him but in his mind, it's only you---always you. smirk directed towards them is actually on the thoughts flashing in front of his eyes, how to break you down and to what limit he can go until you are begging to him. he would groan to himself with the thoughts of you squirming and shaking with begging him to stop. his sweet smile with those contrast words and actions.

"Oh baby, you are done with this? come on. I know you can do it better. if you were really done then you would have said the word already." even if has made you come a lot of times but he will still be unsatisfied and proceed to do his sweet tortures on you.

Jeno is just the opposite to him in appearance. he is scary, he doesn't give a fuck about others, but yeah sometimes you will find him giving threats and ending with the a eye smile...literally mocking at them. his strong muscled body lining with popping veins is always on display and it's normal to say he is scary with the dark demeanor. his dark eyes on you with his strong grip on your wrist really scares you off sometimes but then suddenly he will direct a eye-smile to you. if he wants you under him, he knows he will get you easily without even trying a little coz it's easy for him to make you weak under him. you are nothing against his whole personality. his words and actions are a perfect match.

"look at you, begging for what? didn't think before going against me that it won't end up well...and it's good not for you but fantastic for me." oh he would also make Jaemin watch you both how you are literally folding into half.

but don't get fooled by their cover...

Jaemin might can be a sweetheart outside but to let you know, even Jeno gets surprised with his thoughts on how to have you. no one not even you who is apparently their girlfriend can't even even imagine who is likely to do the most wild things. of course the first thought that would come across your mind is Jeno might be the one but to your surprise, Jaemin is the one to end something completely.

If you are trying to control them them, buckle your seatbelt because even if Jaemin allows you to have control over him for a night, Jeno would never....NEVER he will let you believe that you can control him.

he will instantly make you on your knees and buries himself deep inside your throat, "say it again. maybe let me see you try again." his dark and furious eyes watching how tears falling from your eyes and how badly you are shaking when he is thrusting deep in your every hole. THE DOMINANT OF THE DUO.

but Jaemin will let you experience your new side and Jeno would tsk beside you. The sweet boy will guide you and ask your list of fantasies unlike the other who just has a thought--you have to like everything he will give you. what a freak! hush he might can hear you.

They will follow your every moves and once they notice that you are nothing except a sub to them. wide dirty smirks display across their face and would fuck you unless you are falling unconscious. but they are soft romantics too, would fill you with lots of gifts and never leave a chance to show you off to others. Jaemin might appear as if he is not bothered someone is flirting with you but Jeno will stare deeply into them to scare them off.

you know getting on Jeno's worst side is a hell for you but getting on Jaemin's worst side means you are on a long ass ride.

"Jaemin, how should we start?"

he will smile and cup your face, "maybe start with tying her up...and then we can have it in our way."

you are not escaping them in this life.

Afterall they were the one to make your boyfriend break up with you in the first place so that they will gain your trust easily. come on, otherwise they would have locked you up anyways for themselves.

Sequel to my "Best (human) boy for periods" ranking; here comes the worsties (Affectionate)

Ace - Ultimate teenage boy(tm), is gonna make a big stink and fuss over how he doesn't wanna hear about you being on or think about it. "No poops, no farts, no periods"! kinda guy. He'll get better when he's older but in your first year as friends? He's gonna tease and antagonise you. If you're the emotional type when you'er on, you can turn the tables on him by crying and getting the whole class to go "Wow, what an asshole" at him for the rest of the week tho.

Vil - This guy holes everyone to the same standards as him, fully believing everyone can give 110% at all times. He's gonna come at you about how just because you're on the rag doesn't mean you can start snacking on chocolate bars all the time (or any comfort food). He WILL critique your skincare routine if your skin breaks out. One day he'll look back at how he treated you and thank Rook for literally carrying him away from you before you killed him.

Epel - Not really his fault, but considering his "old fashioned" upbringing, things like periods were just Not Discussed, even between the women in his family, so Epel's first reaction to learning that you're on is just a sound "I didn't hear that" slowly evolving into a "Why tf are you telling me this?" (Because I bled through my trousers and can't get up from this chair Epel, jeez). Just will not engage with the subject at hand.

Deuce - More of an inbetween than actually the worst(tm), he earns a lot of brownie points for wanting to help you and is the type to panic buy every item on the shelf. BUT! if you're the type to get moody or aggressive when you're on, he's instinctively gonna meet aggression with aggression and you two will have to be seperated for a while.

Idia - Just straight up wont deal with it, he'll send Ortho to help you. Best you're gonna get from this guy is a "RIP LMAO" when you text him that you're on :(

Honorable mention: Silver. Not his fault either, but being raised in a predominantly fairy based family unit, periods are an alien concept to him. Won't really understand what's going on when you try to explain it to him, and with Lilia as his main guide, is gonna make a LOT of mistakes before he gets things right but he get's a lot of points for trying to help. Might even use his UM to see into your dreams/memories to get a feel for what it's like, just so he can better know how to help you.

Aww, see I get that it would be realistic for some of the boys to be immature and get grossed out, but it's a fantasy world! Maybe my fantasy is that the boys are semi-educated on the human body and are gonna support me during my periods 😭

I really think both Vil and Deuce should be given more credit, though. Vil is very in touch with his femininity, and doesn't really disrespect others unless they disrespect him or cause trouble, based on his interactions with others at least. I think he'd be excellent because he can make the best pain potions for your cramps, and might be willing to give you tips on how to care for your skin during your hormonal periods. But only if he likes you.

Deuce was raised only by his mama, and based on what I know of her from the JP event, she def gives off the vibes of "I'm teaching my son how to care and respect women." He'd probably understand that you're not being aggressive with him for the sake of it, you emotions are being messed with due to all the hormones fluctuating in your body. But I do agree that he is the type to panic buy one of everything to help you out.

The others, I can see it, though I would like to this that Epel's case is less of being raised old-fashioned (nothing about him and the way he interacts with others screams old-fashioned to me), and more of being one of the few young people in a town of old people. The folk that can have periods don't because they've probably gone through menopause! It doesn't occur to them that he should probably know about periods!!!

Ace and Idia are just immature and dumb and I love them. Also, rip Silver, he's never interacted with another human outside of Sebek's dad.

Anyways my headcanon for the TWST universe is that they actually teach biology and anatomy so people aren't taught to know nothing about things like periods. Cause that's stupid why do we do that?

i was contemplating the role of basil for a while since canon cyn only had so many friends,, so i put uzi in there because (bear with my logic) canonically she wanted to kill humans and the DD trio wouldn't hurt tessa since she saved them?? so i used uzi instead because it was that or an oc,,

did that make any sense

probably not

anyway !!! heres the part where i explain personalities because there will inevitably be some personality swaps here and there from the actual omori characters to this au characters,,

tessa is pretty much like mari and holds the group together like glue, helpful and kind and always trying her best for everybody else

N and kel are also pretty similar, though after N grows up he takes on more of hero's vibe? taking after the job of tessa in order to make sure that everyone is okay/coping and bringing cyn out of her house (following sunny's route)

V and aubrey are also pretty similar, after tessa's death she tries first to make up for the missing spot that tessa filled but it doesnt work and everyone drifts away, and she grows resentful that nobody was there because everybody coped differently,, speaking of which she does in fact get new friends (following aubrey becoming the leader of the hooligans, tho i probably wont use that group name,, haven't decided on it yet)

J and hero,, arent very similar? taking hero's spot, shes more sarcastic and unafraid to speak her mind as a child but she toned down the meanness because tessa was around. after tessa's death she straight up drifts away and took the first chance she got to move away to study. i'm contemplating adding slight j x tessa here but im not sure yet

uzi and basil are also not very similar,, the only thing ill make similar is their personalities when they were kids with uzi being more uh? gentle? in a sense?¿ reverse uzi,, after tessa's death she distances herself away too in guilt and also becomes over defensive

Dad (All Might Headcanon)

Requested: No Idea: What Toshinori would be like as your dad!

He's the softest sweetest dad!

He just wants to keep you happy and safe

He also wants to make you super proud!

He's absolutely wound around your little finger....what ever his baby wants, his baby gets! "Daddy, I wanna go to the zoo!" Toshinori having just sat down after an exhausting day of fighting crime "Of course dear, get dressed and lets go!" "I want that big bear plushy!" "okay!" he smiles reaching for his wallet.

He'll let you style his hair all you want. The mountain of a man will sit in front of the couch while you climb his back like a jungle gym, putting in cute hair clips and braiding it! "Daddy what do you think?" you cheerfully ask giving him a little hand held mirror. "I look fantastic, you should be my stylist, pumpkin!" He grins proudly, flipping his loose hair.

He'll absolutely play pretend and take part in tea parties, tiara and all... tho he had to have the chairs be made sturdier so he didn't flatten them with the power of them cheeks.

Lets you use his capes as blankets.

He always makes you walk towards the inside of the sidewalk. Tho when you're really young, he wont even let you walk at all and carries you around.

He would hold your hand at every doctors appointment! Knowing that you hate the hospital issued bandages because their industrial strength-, skin removing-, soul ripping-glue, he brings his own to make for a less fussy appointment.

He also does a full monster check in the house before putting you to bed. "Yep, no monsters there!" he says getting up from the floor after looking under you bed. "What about in there?" you ask pointing at the slightly open closet, hiding under your blanket. "Nothing in here either!" he smiles, after shuffling some clothes and looking around. He closes the door.

He'll read you bedtime stories and tucks you in. And yes, he gives all the characters voices.

Absolutely will let you sleep in his bed if you have a nightmare ("don't fear, why? Because I am here!" he says groggily with a smile), or even if you're just super fussy about going to bed.

He'll spoil you without making you a brat. He explains to you that not everyone can afford everything you two have. It absolutely warms his heart when you want to donate a bunch of toys to the less fortunate!

He doesn't expect you to ever become a hero, he just wants you to do whatever you love doing. Plus he doesn't want you to put yourself in unnecessary danger.

Kinda gives him a heart attack when you come home from school telling him that you want to be a hero like him. He won't try to change your mind (too hard) tho. He might try to sway you a bit, but gives up when he realizes that you're just as stubborn as him.

If you get hurt, that man is there with a first aid kit before you even realize you got hurt in the first place. "dad it's just a scratch." your roll your eyes as the large man cleans and puts an obnoxious bandage on your wound.

When you get older (teenager and so on) ya'll will absolutely have dinner/movie nights. Toshi loves spending any time with you that he can, especially when he can no longer be in his larger form

He thinks he isn't the cool dad anymore, but you constantly have to remind him that he's the best dad you could've ever ask for, plus now he doesn't take up 90% of the couch, so honestly you prefer it.

You're the light of his life and you'll never know how much your good ol' dad truly loves you.

Teen Eddsworld doodles :33 plus a few hcs

Gonna put these under the cut cause idk how long itll be but Ill probably never get around to drawing them out so just gotta dump them here 🦝

- In my hcs, Tord and Edd meet first, it was probably Tord’s first real friendship too so he kinda clung onto Edd a bit but Edd was chill with it

-Theyre the closest out of the group (even in present day), Edd was like the only person Tord would talk to

-Tom was a school project gone wrong, Edd had to cate for a ghost shrimp and somehow some way he woke up the next day to find Tom sitting in his bathroom sink. So of course Edd just dragged him into the friend group like no big deal

-Tord and Tom were a bit ehh at first but they got used to each other after a while and eventually Tom was the second person Tord would talk to

-Matt joined the group later idk how ill figure it out later

-I do think Tord had a bit of a crush on him tho, it started before Matt joined the group and continued for a bit after he joined. Matt seemed like a cool mysterious vampire to him and that drew him in big time, and even tho Matt knew he had a crush he didnt do much about it after a while ( despite telling him to piss off at the start Matt realized he actually quite liked being admired even though he didn’t exactly reciprocate any of Tord’s actual feelings)

-Idk how to explain their dynamic exactly but like they both give each other the attention they desperately crave but idk if Matts in it for an actual relationship w/ Tord

-As for edd,, I think hes just a super physical affectionate person in general especially to the other three since their his main pals

-Kind leads to a crisis for Tord tho cause now hes struggling about whether he has a crush on his bff or not or if his bff has a crush on HIM

-And of course Tom is the one who has to suffer with his angsty teen rants about it because I personally believe theyre 🤞 like that

Chapter 9: differences

(Ftm Bright eyes - uses he/him pronouns)

(Lovely demi girl - uses they/she pronouns)

Tw: underage drinking

Lovely gave a hesitant knock on Bright's door.

A few seconds later Lovely was met with a very agitated looking Bright eyes.

"What is it?....you brought wine...?"

Bright's tone was initially very defensive, until his gase made its way down to the noticeably large and decadent bottle in Lovely's hands.

"Yeah I found it on one of the shelves in the hallway, its not doing any good being up there so i thought why not use it to celebrate you becoming part of the solair clan? I know you're technically not old enough to drink but hey! I think spending eternity being 19 is way too harsh of a punishment to do sober, so what do ya say?"

Bright eyes looked stunned, but nonetheless, he answered.

"I say mind the empty boxes and get your ass and that bottle in here!"

20 minutes later:

Let it never be said that Bright and Lovely weren't lightweights.

They were both sitting on the bed, pouring wine that was older than both of them combined into mugs Bright had brought up to his new room.

The blush on Bright's face was a shade of crimson against his skin. Lovely's was a deep pink.

They giggled between slurred words as they housed down the wine.

"Ok ok so- im sorry i-i have to ask"

Slurred Lovely.

"Yeah? Hic* whats up?"

Bright eyes answered, finding it increasingly difficult to sit up.

"You and Porter?"

Lovely didnt even finish before they both burst into a cascade of giggles, she didnt have to. Bright knew what she ment.

"Whaaat?"

Asked Bright eyes, as if Lovely was judging him for his taste in men.

"Nothing nothing! It's just hic* I heard from alexis that you where hehe~"

Lovely playfully nudged Bright's side, he giggled and pushed her away in response.

"Dont be gross!"

"Haha! What? I was just asking! I mean you've only known him like less than 20 minutes"

Bright couldn't help but smirk at this

"Uhh actually hehe we had already met, at a bar hic* the other day"

"Oooh! So this was like a reunion? Got it"

"Hehe yeeah, wait hic* how dose alexis know about that?"

Lovely began pouring another mug

"Oh she said she walked in on you two going at it in the hallway"

Bright eyes nudged Lovely with his mug, gesturing that hed like a refill

"Oooohh that explains why he dipped out on me"

Lovely began pouring another mug.

"He's probably waiting for YOU you know? I bumped into alexis on my way here so he's defiantly finished talking with her soooo"

Lovely was done with refilling his cup however he nudged her arm while she was pouring, indicating that he wanted more than what she was allowing him to have.

Lovely stumbled a bit because of this and for a second she worried that the wine would spill onto the bed and stain it.

"Yeeaah but I'll be damned if i wait around for a man for too long so hic* i left after he was gone for like hic* 1 minute...?"

Bright took the mug from her without any consideration that it could spill, and to Lovely's relief it didnt.

"What you gonna do if he shows up here?"

"Hic* I dunno probly turn him away"

"Heck Yeah!"

Lovely high fived the hand that didnt contain a mug full of wine.

"You know how much me and vincent hate Porter? I'm not judging you buuut"

Bright scoffed

"Why tho?"

"Hic* long story, I can already feel a headache forming"

Lovely grabbed at the skin between her forehead. Her vision was begining to blur. So was Bright's

"Damn how'd you manage to get a hangover BEFORE you're done drinking?"

"Oh piss off!"

Lovely playfully pushed him but due to his state he fell backwards instantly, the wine splashed as he fell

"OH SHI-"

Bright exploded with laughter, ignoring the wine he spilled over himself.

Thankfully he didn't get any on the bed sheet.

Once they had both calmed down, Lovely realized something.

"Wait- Wait.... Porter told us that he was talking a 'newborn' to the summit as his plus one"

Bright looked stunned, then his brows furrowed.

"Was he talking about you?!"

The question caused Bright's previous expression to change into one of suprise and confusion.

"I mean....he didn't SAY anything to me about it...?"

Lovely pushed herself up from the bed

"So you're telling me that asswhole said he was bringing you to the summit WITHOUT EVEN ASKING YOU FIRST?!"

Lovely recalled just how stressed Vincent was over inviting an additional vampire to the sumit, them being a newborn made things even more inconvenient, but the fact that the person he was inviting was not only already invited but they were the god damn guest of honour?!

Lovely was pissed, in more ways than one and it showed.

"Hey chill out! He probably didnt even mean ME i-im I was....just a one nighter i mean come on!"

"Dont play dumb! I saw how he looked at you today in that meeting, heee likes youuuu~"

He agressive tone from before had vanished and turned into a juvenile one, the kind youd expect to hear at a 12 year old's sleepover"

"Please stop"

They went back to laughing hysterically.

4 mugs of wine and 1 black out later:

"You know...I was a foster kid"

Bright was just coming to when he heard this.

"Really?....how did you know I was one too?"

"Vincent told me"

By this point they were both close to falling asleep at any moment, however, this was something Lovely had wanted to talk to Bright about since the moment Vincent had told her this piece of information, so she pulled herself together and took another sip, hoping it would keep her awake despite it being the thing causing her fatigue.

"Vincent told me that you told him"

"Oh Yeah, I remember"

Lovely once again was lost on how to continue this conversation.

"D-do you have any siblings?"

"Well-"

Bright hesitated.

"I don't know what it was like for you but in the homes i went to we all considered each other 'siblings' but biological? No. Not that I know of"

"Huh. Do you still keep contact with any of them?"

Lovely couldn't tell if he looked sad or just tired.

"I did. With one of them. But then she just...stopped"

"I'm really sorry"

For a moment they just layed there, quiet and still.

Until Bright got up and poured himself another, seemingly doing the same thing Lovely was attempting to do.

"What about you? Got any sibling?"

Lovely seemed to perk up at this.

"Yeah actually. Biological but they got adopted before me, the parents only wanted them"

Bright scowled.

"Tipical, honestly, they should do two for one deals with these sorts of things?!"

Lovely assumed he was joking due to the serious nature of the topic of discussion, so they laughed.

"Yeah Well, I was lucky enough to keep contact with them the whole time online, last year I got to meet them in person tho since I started going to damn and theyd been going there a little while before me"

Bright gave a warm smile. He seemed genuinely happy to hear that lovely was able to see their sibling again.

"They're doing good for themselves too, they have a nice boyfriend, a good friend group and they're so damn talented with magic!....I'm glad they ended up ok even without me"

Lovely gently touched his arm.

I'm hoping that even with your rough start, you can do the same"

His smile dropped as his lips parted in suprise, he didn't know how to respond. So he didn't.

He just clicked his mug with hers and continued to sip it.

The brim hiding his smile.

Vincent was still in shock in regards to what happend.

He would be lying if he said he hadn't seen Lovely angry before but this was....diffrent.

He also felt bad that Lovely had inadvertently made Sam feel like he needed to leave.

Vincent thought that the best thing to do would be to go and confront her.

But that was before he saw her and Bright laying on Bright's bed wasted.

"What the-?!"

"Ok ok so old wine....is good wine hic*"

Lovely didnt seem to notice Vincent standing gob smacked in the doorway.

"Yeah ok ok but hic* expensive wine....is good wine also-"

"What are you guys doing?"

Vincent finally got Lovely's attention.

"Oh hiiiii~ hey vinc hic* whats up?"

"A-are you drunk? Why are you drunk?!"

"Relax, I just thought we could use a drink is all"

Lovely was desperately trying to sit up, luckily her cup was empty so she didnt need to worry about spillage.

"We just established that Bright isn't old enough to even drink!"

"Oh chill out grandpa, Lovely here already got a headache"

Lovely, still stumbling over herself, pushing Bright eye's leg before falling over herself and eventually being caught by Vincent.

She looked up at him for a moment then smiled sweetly.

"Hi~"

She went to kiss him but she could barely keep herself up so she didnt succeed.

Vincent decided to excuse the absurdity of the situation and prioritise getting Lovely to bed before it got too light outside.

"Ok time to get you to bed, say bye to Bright"

"Byyee!~"

She waved lazily at him, he did the same.

Given Lovely's state, Vincent thought it was wise to ask Bright how he was holding up.

"Hey, you gonna be Ok?"

"Yeeeaah ill be fine"

Vincent trusted Bright not to do anything too stupid between now and night time.

"Alright then"

Vincent proceeded to carry Lovely into their bedroom a floor up.

Bright tried to sleep off the feeling swimming throught his head......But he couldn't.

Epilogue:

A knock on the door caused Bright eyes to jolt up from his bed.

He wasn't asleep, however he was still suprised by the sound, especially since the intoxicated state he was in amplified all sounds.

He groaned as he felt himself moving from his bed on the door.

"What?"

He slurred, voice thick with sleep.

He opened the door to Porter standing in front of him.

"I apologise for the late arrival~"

"Yeah? Why'd you run off before then? Cold feet?"

Bright had previously been told the answer to this question, however he still wanted to tease him, and see if he would tell the truth.

Porter winced at the implication that Bright had thought this entire time that Porter had left him due to "cold feet". Despite this, he coughed then gave a small slightly awkward laugh.

"N-no I do apologise for leaving its just....alexis saw us. I knew she would tell vincent and i really dont fancy having my head removed before I could get a chance to ask you something important, you understand?~"

Bright didnt answere, he did however share a kiss with Porter once he had finished apologising, he wasn't entirely sure who initiated it but he reciprocated nonetheless.

"Hmm~ may i come in?"

Bright could feel Porters breath against his lips.

Bright eyes smiled.

"No".

Then he closed the door to his room.

The Last Ronin 2: Re-Evolution Issue #1 LIVEBLOG

SPOILERS ABOUND. I'M NOT GOING TO BE NORMAL ABOUT THIS IT'LL PROBABLY GET SUPER LONG

Okay so Casey Marie's muscles are something I'm never going to get over. SHE LOOKS GOOD!!!!! Her getup is feeling a little too reminiscent of a cape-wielding superhero for my tastes to be honest - I really loved the more practical outfits she wore in TLR Lost Years, especially in issue 4 when she was running the training mission for the kids. But ah well, I'm sure this will grow on me. It may not be practical (edna's law of no capes is coming to mind, also PLEASE TIE YOUR HAIR UP WHEN YOU'RE FIGHTING GIRL!!!) but it's very cunty anyway which I appreciate

FINAL THOUGHTS:

dude that first issue was wordy but the kids were ON POINT. they were so fun!! their dialogue is fun and they kick ass.

i loved yi announcing the punishment for casey while the others were like NOO SHE DIDNT MEAN THAT DONT LISTEN TO HER. we're getting more of their personalities and it's great!! it was a nice throwback to issue 2 of lost years when they were cleaning - yi refused to help because of how strictly she was following instructions. im picking up that she might be neurodivergent but i did get that from the lost years too - only doing things within strict instructions, getting frustrated at teaching odyn chess, not because of him playing horseys with the knights but that it was Against The Rules Of Chess - and now not picking up on some social cues. It's nice to see!! I love her very much, but it feels like besides rehashing the origin story she took a bit of a backseat to the other three.

i want to know more about why uno said being a rebel was moja's 'thing', since she didn't seem to be any more rebellious than the other three in this issue. we didn't get any unique interactions between her and casey marie which is what i felt was lacking from lost years but i wonder if this is hinting towards a more turbulent mother-daughter dynamic with them... I REALLY HOPE SO!! her and uno butting heads in a leo-raph way is very fun - i don't mind one or two prior group dynamics leaking into the new turtle siblings because they're all so different from the original 4.

uno seems to be taking on slightly more of a leader role than moja so i think he won the title of fearless leader. which is fine, i think it'll be fun to see and he's definitely less of an asshole now than when he was growing up in lost years. still picking on odyn a bit but seems to snipe at moja just as much. even when he was commenting on yi's storytelling he didn't make fun of her, though - i think she may have inherited the 2k3 don ability of being Completely Unbullyable.

i was really pleased that odyn felt more involved!! i feel like he took the backseat a few times in lost years - it was fun seeing more of his personality shine through! he and yi seem to get on the best, and i giggled at them rolling their eyes at moja and uno's raph-leo schtick. i didn't expect him to TURN TO FUCKING STONE THOUGH, so i'm nervous about that. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHO DID THIS TO MY BOY? IS HE GOING TO TURN BACK NEXT CHAPTER OR IS HE OUT OF COMMISSION UNTIL THE END OF THE RUN??? (if it's the latter i'll be a bit annoyed - don't take odyn away from the equation please!!)

I do wonder if by introducing casually that they can PSYCHICALLY CONNECT, the turtles will use that as a technique to reach odyn's mind to make sure he's still in there and piece together what's happened to him. i mean, their casual telepathy has gotta be some sort of chekhov's gun right?

and shit.... april was so fucking mad casey took the babies out so she's going to EXPLODE when she finds out what happened to her baby boy, her beloved favourite, her baby odyn :''(( im giggling rubbing my hands together waiting for the fallout but also if she cries i might cry too. speaking of april, she seems to be working on a new project and i saw nano particles mentioned - are we going to have a roninverse version of nano in this run???? I NEED MY ROBOT SON

as always, casey marie... u have aged like fine wine. u are stunning. disappointed that ur still believing that jiro can do good as a cop when their entire police force and government is corrupt as fuck. just feels very naive of her. i'm excited to see her break down at the concept of losing odyn - in fact i need everyone to mourn this beautiful kid. they tell us so much that shes a super clingy helicopter mom and i am picking up on the strict part, but it would be nice to see more of her just... hugging her kids. holding them. i get why she didnt in this issue but id love more mama casey squishing their cheeks and kissing their foreheads.

i have zero fucking clue what's going on with odyn. im wondering if it's somehow related to nano, or to whatever project April is working on - she says it's to do with clearing the tunnels, but I''m not convinced. who knows, there might be some ulterior motive happening.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!

the comic is cancelled. you probably already assumed that since i havent posted anything about it in a while but yeah the things dead now lol. mainly because i dont care much about omori anymore, the comic sucked, and it was too much effort. i feel kinda bad about leaving you guys in the dark for this long tho, so i thought id go ahead and include all the scrapped stuff for the comic that never got finished

while i was writing the comic i started a google doc that laid out ideas i had for future pages. heres that if you wanna know how the story ends

it was written over several months and (most) things are in order of where they go on the timeline not when i wrote them so it might be a little hard to follow

also some art i never posted

(at least i dont think ive posted the last one)

i quoted not liking this comic as one of the reasons i stopped so let me explain that with a list of things id change about this if i were to remake it (which i wont)

remove the swearing that was so stupid

make omori mute (and probably use sign language)

omori does not express fear or stress in-game, thats sunnys job. quit it

he also does not cry and generally shows emotions (even the big ones) in more subtle ways (which i think i was trying to shift towards later in the doc) idk why he was so emotional all the time

literally everything about how i portrayed omori actually that was all just awful

the panic attack scene is fucking embarrassing i have no clue what i was thinking. im so sorry for writing it like that i did 0 research beforehand

make it shorter why did i think that would work out

id probably just make it a fic, comics take way too much outta me compared to just writing things

it does not need a big epic ending and probably shouldve ended not long after they escaped black space

the romance is horrible but thats the foundation of the comic so idek what id do about that

stop making everyone talk like therapists 24/7

and yeah it has a lot of problems but i still do care about this due to the ammount of effort and love ive put into it, i just cant and dont want to continue it

so yeah thats where this story ends ig. i had a lot of fun along the way, and thank you so much for all the support. bigger thanks to that one sunflower discord server (if you came from there you know which one) for being my main motivation and support throughout this journey. sucks this comic never got to see its full potential but im relieved to finally lay it to rest. the blog will stay up for archival purposes but i will not continue the comic any further obviously. the ask box will remain open if you wanna say anything or if you have a question about the story or whatever. thanks for reading.

Even a Hashira need some affection - Akira + Toju fanfic - fluff

Toju and Akira were out training together in the training grounds of her mansion. While they were in middle of a spar Akira's crow, Kasukiwa, is spotted flying overhead. They both stop and look up as she circles them and calls out,

"Caw, Caw! Akira Sakuranbura, Toju Saito! Head North, several strong demons have been spotted terrorizing a small village! Caw, Caw!"

Akira looks up at Toju and apologizes for their training session cut short. They both go gather their belongings and get ready to head out. Akira walks up to Katsu and tells her the news

"Me and Toju are heading out on a mission, we should be back pretty soon I hope."

katsu always gets sad when Akira has to leave on a mission, and she looks very upset whenever she hears about it. Tho, this time she looks even more sad.

"How come Toju gets to come and I dont tho..." She says back in a small voice.

Akira looks at her with her soft, gentle smile and says, "I know Katsu, Im sure we will get another mission together soon."

Katsu still looks sad as Toju walks in and lets her know that they need to leave soon. Akira leans down to Katsu and decides that she will just leave her Haori here with Katsu so she doesn't feel so alone.

She takes off her Haori and lays it over Katsu's shoulders, "here.. now you wont feel so alone."

Katsu smiles up at her older sister and thanks her. Akira now goes over to Toju and they head out.

"You gave her your Haori? Are you sure you'll be alright..?" He asks her

"yea yea, I'll be fine Toju." Akira answers back to him, but he knows that she is lying.

Akira never leaves for a mission without her Haori, it was given to her on her 13th birthday by her parents. That was the year of the accident. They follows the crows to the village, running the full way. Toju runs behind Akira realizing just how fast she is compared to him. This was their first official mission together, meaning Toju will finally get to see his mentor in action. An hour and a half goes by and they come to a wisteria house to stay for the night before continuing onto the village. It was a ways away from where Akira's mansion was, so it would be necessary to stop for the night to rest before getting there.

they both greet the nice old lady with a smile as she welcomes them both in and shows them to the room. The two settle in and the old lady now goes to make some food and tea. Akira is standing off to the side just kinda staring, and Toju knows something is up with her.

"You sure leaving that Haori wasn't a problem, Akira..?" He asks with concern in his voice. Toju is very caring towards her and wants to make sure she is okay at all times.

Akira doesn't respond and just turns her head a little away from him. Toju walks over to her now and steps in front of her. Akira still refuses to look up at him and doesn't move. Toju knows how stubborn she is, so he doesn't bother trying to reason with her. Instead, he reaches his arms out and puts them around Akira to pull her into a hug. Toju rests his head down onto hers as to comfort her into a feeling of safety. Akira just limply stands there in his embrace, but she does feel a bit better with him hugging her this way. He holds her tight and closes his eyes as they just stay like this in silence. Finally, Akira returns the hug and wraps her small arms around his body. He rocks her in his arms a little bit until he can tell she is better again. After a few minutes Toju lets her go and Akira looks down embarrassed.

"Im sorry you had to do that.." she says in a small voice."

he looks down at her with a soft smile and asks what she means.

"Im a Hashira.. im your mentor, Im supposed to be the one to help and comfort you. Not the other way around.." Akira explains.

"Akira.. I promise you it's not a problem at all to me. I care about you a lot, and Hashira or not.. you still need Affection." He says with a calming smile.

"Well.. then I guess if it doesn't bother you, you are right then."

At this time the woman of the wisteria house comes back into the room with a tray of food and tea. She places it down for them, bows, and closes the door once more. The two of them enjoy their meal together and thank the woman when she returns to collect the tray. Akira now sits down on her shins on a bed and begins to take the top layer of her uniform shirt off. She now just remains with the undershirt and her skirt. To her, this is a lot more comfortable. She keeps the full thing on during training and pretty much anytime else because it seems more proper and professional, but now that she's feeling more comfortable with where she is, she feels it's alright to take it off. Toju just watches her with a slight reddening of his cheeks.

Akira looks up at him, "what?"

he is still just looking at her, then manages to say, "..nothing"

"It's more comfortable this way, and it's just us after all." Akira explains.

"yea thats true isnt it, Ill do the same then." He responds.

Toju walks over to the other bed which is about a 3 feet or so away from the one Akira is on. He sits down on his shins like Akira and removes his uniform top to just have the undershirt left on. He agrees it is more comfortable to just have one layer of clothing on. For about 5 minutes or so it is just awkward silence in the room.

Toju finally breaks the silence by saying, "do you think Katsu will be ok on her own, I mean with her switches and all?"

Akira looks over to him and replies, "she'll be fine. Her crow will call over Ushuu if something bad happens."

"Thats good then." He says, then with another thought he asks, "You know, I never hear you talk about Ushuu very much, she doesn't stay at your mansion either."

"Oh, that's because she is training under Kocho - sama to become a nurse at the butterfly mansion." Akira answers.

"ah, that's interesting then."

All of the sudden, Akira begins to open up and explain something. "After the accident with my parents, both Katsu and I were knocked out cold and rescued by a demon slayer."

Toju looks up at her and sits quietly to listen.

"When I heard my parents scream as they got killed.. my sisters and I were in the other room. I yelled for them to hide as I ran to the kitchen to grab anything I could find. Katsu hid in a crate somewhere and I never saw where Ushuu had gone to. I rushed out to try to keep the attacker away from my sisters. That was the first time I ever saw a demon."

Toju has his full attention on Akira now. Absorbing and listening to everything she is saying.

"The terror in my eyes was real in that moment. I stood by ground as the demon ran towards me. I managed to avoid several fatal attacks and cut off one of its limbs with a knife I found. Tho, my efforts weren't enough as I was struck and sent flying out of the window and left unconscious," Akira continues to explain her story as Toju was locked on her listening to everything. "The rest of the story I got from Katsu, since I was unconscious. The demon had found her hiding spot, but right as it began to up the crate, she watched the head get decapitated and its blood splattered onto her. Apparently the blood sank into her skin and caused her to fall unconscious as well. This is also what triggered her unnatural switches. By the time we were brought back to the butterfly mansion by the demon slayer, we had all assumed Ushuu dead, since she was never found."

Toju is now shocked and somewhat confused, but he looks at her to tell her to continue on.

"It wasn't until me and Katsu got sent on a mission back to our hometown to find a demon there that we found Ushuu. When we found the demon, it was sneaking up behind a young girl, Ushuu. At the time we didn't realize it was her, but after saving her we figured it out. Apparently she had crawled out of the window and hid outside of out house when the demon attacked us. When both Katsu and I were saved, Ushuu went back inside to look for us, but we were nowhere to be found. She assumes us dead, and was taken in by an orphanage in our village. When we found her she agreed to come back with us and we took her to Kocho - sama to get her to become a nurse there." Akira explained

Toju, still in shock and amazed by her backstory, just looks at her now. "Wow.. I had no idea."

"It's a lot to think about honestly." Akira answers.

Just then, the woman returns to the room and lays out two pairs of sleeping clothes. A white shirt with a long skirt that went along with it, and a black shirt with matching black bottoms. Akira thanks the woman and she shuts the door and leaves. They only have one big open room for the both of them, so they both pick a side and change with their backs turned.

before they go to get changed, Toju asks Akira, "Did you ever get any scars from your accident?"

Akira looks up at him and nods her head yes. She untucks her undershirt and raises it to reveal a huge scar from her lower right abdomen all the way up to right below her left breast. "From when I got stuck by the demon and knocked unconscious. It had large spikes on the back of its hands, and when it hit me one of them got caught and gave me this."

Toju looks down at it wide eyed and stunned. It's not a noticeable scar unlike his, but it's huge.

"It's ok tho, it doesn't hurt that much anymore." She smiles as she reassures him.

Now they both go and grab their sleepwear and go to their sides to get changed. Once finished, they went down to the beds and sat down. Akira grabbed a brush and began to brush out her hair. Toju watched her as she brushed. Akira stops for a second to look over at him and asks,

"Would you like to do it? You seem to be staring at me an awful lot today."

Toju is somewhat stunned, but he's brushed her hair before so he says yes and goes over to her bed to sit behind her. Toju begins to brush her long, soft hair. Akira sits there and begins to feel very comforted by his company and as he brushed her hair, she feels safe. A few minutes go by and Toju hands Akira the brush as he finishes. It was pretty late at this point, so they both were pretty tired. Toju was also extra exhausted from training with her today. When he gets tired, he stops being able to think through all of his emotions and thoughts as well. Suddenly, Akira feels his hands wrap around her torso. Toju is again hugging onto her, and he pulls her closer into him. He likes the way Akira feels so warm and safe against him. He moves his hands to trace her scar through he shirt. He looks away a little and his face reddens a bit. He tightens his arms around her and rests his head on hers. Akira looks back at him and sees his tired face turn a little more red. she smiles softly and says to him,

"is this your way of comforting me again?"

".. even Hashira need affection." He replies.

She gives him another warm smile and says, "well It's time to get some resr now, we still have a mission ahead of us sleepy head."

he makes a muffled yes sound as his eyes close. Akira gets him to lay down in his own bed as she goes and lays down in hers. They both go to sleep now and fall asleep instantly. When morning arrives Akira is woken up by her crow, Kasukiwa, once more. They both get up and are served breakfast from the nice old woman of the wisteria house. They both give thanks and enjoy the food. After the breakfast they change back into their uniforms and gather their weapons before heading out to thank the woman of the house.

They arrive at the village and once nightfall hits they easily locate and slay the 4 demons occupying the village. Akira took on the lower moon who had been leading the other 3, and took out one of the 3 smaller demons. Toju was able to take care of the other 2 and the both left the village successfully.

They returned to Akira's mansion by the next morning. Both were greeted by a warm hug from Katsu, and Akira got her Haori back. Toju and Akira had a newfound closeness, even more than they already did now. Once Katsu walks out to continue her training, Akira turns to Toju and begins to say,

"Thank you."

Somewhat confused now, Toju replies with, "for what..?"

She looks him in the eyes, and pulls him down to her height. Standing on her tippy toes now, she plants a kiss on his cheek and answers him gently by saying, "for making me realize that even a Hashira needs affection."

He stands back up and smiles at her, "your welcome then, Im glad I did"

just a cute fluffy Toju x Akira fanfic because my tired brain was in a fluffy mood lol
