Love Bites

Law

Law used to get annoyed with these random acts of gentle aggression.

Physical touch is something he doesn’t do well with, so he found it more shocking than anything.

Human affection also doesn’t make much sense to him, and most things you do confuse him honestly (that’s part of what intrigued him most at the beginning of your relationship). He tries to understand, but he doesn’t.

At first, those silly things were met with harsh glares and “What are you doing?” or “Please, Y/N. I’m in the middle of something. I don’t have time for games.”

But he got used to it, eventually not commenting on it at all. Just letting you do your thing.

He found himself anticipating these small acts of loving aggression at some point, though he’s not sure when that switch happened.

Now, if you time it right, you’ll get a soft hum or an amused chuckle out of him.

Zoro

Zoro is confused by this. He does not understand the purpose of this activity.

“What are you doing?!” he demands, jerking away from you. “I’m not some hunk of meat, regardless of what you and Luffy think!”

That makes you laugh. “I dunno, it’s just fun to do!”

He scowls at that. “Zoro” and “fun” have a hard time going together sometimes.

Every time you do it, you can feel his stiffen beneath you, but he stops jerking away from it. Instead, he just laughs. “You’re a strange one,” he’ll say softly, often pairing it with a kiss.

One day he randomly bites you, just a quick little nibble that makes you jump.

“See!?!” he yelled. “It’s weird!”

Shanks

The moment you do it to him, he laughs a big hearty laugh. “If you want attention, dear, just say so.”

And that begins the ongoing love aggression war. Sometimes he knocks his head against yours as you lean against him, or he’ll take your hand and act like he’s going to kiss it, only to gently bite down on your fingers and cause you to shriek with laughter.

He’ll go in for a kiss, and then blow a raspberry an inch away from your face. He's always finding new ammunition to use

“You started this!” he’ll always say, laughing along with you.

You don’t give up that easily, of course. You’ll squeeze and pull at his cheeks, or pinch his arm and giggle as he jumps at the surprise touch.

There is never a bad moment for you all to play these pranks on each other. In fact, the more serious the moment, the harder you guys laugh when one of you pulls it off. You’re both good sports about it, and the game is always something fun for you all to do in times of boredom.

I only did boys because i didnt have much inspi for Nami and Robin so i decided to wait until i do cos I don't wanna half arse stuff.

So anyways I feel like I saw someone do this idea already but it might've been just one character like a law x reader? I'm not sure but I would love to tag them so if you know please tell me ! I will also try to make sure mine is different :p.

Luffy

Depends. Like if he's fighting or eating then probably not but if he thinks you might get hurt then he will 100% attempt to catch you. Key word being attempt. Poor boy probably makes the fall 10x worse, like if you trip on one step you're suddenly falling down the entire flight of stairs with a weight on top of you. He will apologise though so at least there's that.

Zoro

He always catches you. Or prevents the fall in the first place. He tells himself it's so you're not unnecessarily out of commission for a fight but really he's a huge softie. Though he always catches you really ungracefully, llike there’s no princess carrying here, he's holding you upside down by the ankle with one hand fr. He scolds you every time too like- "Why do you never watch where you're going" or "Tie your shoes next time idiot", which you should hear as "I can't stand watching you get hurt". Cutie:(

Sanji

Oh you know he does. He lives for romance and what's more romantic than saving your beloved from certain doom (tripping on a rock). Oh he also does it in the most dramatic way possible, he'd rather throw himself to the ground underneath you then let you hit the floor, he's doing twirls, picking you up with one arm, occasionally will throw you in the air first so he can rearrange what he's holding. Menace tbh, like he's just obsessed with teasing you in any way possible.

Usopp

Another one who tries his best…tries🙁. He's always so dramatic about it too, he literally screams your name like you're in a horror movie and everyone is always like "WHAT'S WRONG?!" and Usopps just "Oh they tripped on a step". He either injures one of you in his attempt to catch you OR you both end up in the most compromising positions just as someone walks past . He goes so red trying to explain the situation while also trying to check if youre okay😭.

Franky

Oh every time and it’s smooth as hell every single time. Says super cheesy lines every time like “OWWWW GUESS YOU FELL FOR ME BABE”, and he gets sparkly eyed every time, he loves romance as a genre and finds it superrrrrrrr(😚) cute when something happens that matches a trope he's read. If he didn't catch you he'd probably panic and constantly apologise but just give him a kiss and he'll forget about it soon enough.

Brook

Catches you every time, really gently and really romantically. Instead of just full on catching you, he'll purposefully slow your momentum to minimise injuries in case his attempt at grabbing you fails because then you'd both fall and he'd rather not. Like if you trip into him then he'll pull you both into a delicate spin type of dancing and you're like huh??? He thinks its a really cute trait to be honest but it also makes him really worried about your safety so he likes to keep one hand on you at all times.

Jinbei

Catches you as often as he can, like he won't sprint across the ship to stop you from falling but as long as you're in his reach you will never hit the ground. And he always catches you really gently like you barely feel the impact so sometimes you won't even notice you've tripped until later when you see the scuff on your shoe or something. He really likes holding your hand to make sure you ‘keep your balance’.

Law

He doesn't want to look soft so he tries to force himself not to catch you for just harmless falls...yeah no that doesn't work. As soon as he sees you losing balance you hear that ever familiar room, shambles and then you're in his arms. If it's later in your relationship then he's a menace, he will use this to tease you, like "Oh. Looks like an angel fell into my arms" with this stupid ass smug smirk. He's just really obsessed with you.

Kidd

Catches you most of the time unless it's gonna be really funny. Also he catches you super awkwardly, like he's so obsessed with you but he never knows where to put his hands because hes not used to giving affection so it's like just in the most ungraceful ways. You are literally being held up by his arm around your thigh or something and you're like what the fuck and he's just stood there 🧍🏻‍♀️.

Killer

Prevents the tripping and catches you if necessary. But if you're too clumsy then he just starts getting huffy and hauls you up into his arms so there's no risk of you falling whatsover...and then you bang your head against the ceiling- He probably feels so bad if you get hurt because of him to be honest, he tries so hard to make you happy yk. Anyways at some point he just starts adding cushion to all the potentially harmful areas on the ship so even if you do fall it doesn't hurt.

Law can practically hear you smiling, which makes him exhale in amusement before responding. “Yeah, the crew exchanged gifts and opened them earlier this morning. How about you?”

“Mhm, we were up as soon as the sun rose- Chopper and Luffy woke up the whole crew.” You pause, and he can imagine you biting back a laugh while shaking your head as you often do. “Anyway… Did you get everything you wanted?” You sound expectant, almost knowing.

In his usual deadpan tone, he answers simply. “Bepo got me a new coffee blend.”

“That’s nice of him… he’s always so considerate.”Based on your tone it’s not quite the answer you were looking for, but you provide commentary anyway.

“Ohh yeah,” He continues on the other end of the line, feigning the recollection of something important, “and there was this massive box on deck…”

“Oh good!” You exclaim as Law chuckles. “You scared me, I thought you hadn’t gotten it. Did everyone like their gifts?”

You’re referring, of course, to the comically large box that the Straw Hats had shipped to the Heart Pirates. It was packed to the brim with gifts for every crew member. After all, what was the point of having tons of berries from “stolen” treasure if not to use it on your friends? Or at least, that’s the reasoning you used to convince Nami to rearrange some funds for gifts to the Heart Pirates and other allies of the Straw Hats. Though, maybe it was just because you had mentioned sending a gift to Vivi back in Alabasta as well…

“They all really liked it, a lot. Was it your idea?”

“No,” you explain with a playful cadence, “it was a group effort.”

“Sure thing, but the bows and wrapping paper has you written all over it. And the handwritten card…”

“I have the best handwriting on our ship! Besides, we all signed it so, its from all of us.”

The only part that 100% was not from all of the Straw Hat Crew, was a box with Law’s name on it at the bottom of the much larger box. Inside the present addressed to the “Captain of the <3 Pirates” was a neat little coin display with places for 25 coins, as well as a card tucked in beside the display.

“Well, it was nice of all of you then.” He concedes with a snark in his voice. “And, uh… I like what you got for me, y/n.” Law’s voice comes out a little quieter, and maybe even a little deeper towards the end. He sounds hopeful, not 100% sure if it was you that had chosen his gift, yet knowing that only you could have selected something so sentimental and- ugh, perfect. His tone makes your stomach do flips.

“Yeah? Good, I’m glad.” Your voice, now a bit softer, replies. “I was worried you might have already had-“

“I-I didn’t. I’ve just been storing my collection in boxes...” He trails off, now tracing the edges of the coin display you’d gotten him. It was nothing exceedingly special or expensive, but it meant a lot knowing you had thought of him- just him- and went out of your way to send him a gift. The thought that you cared about him as much as he did you had his heart beating faster already.

You only knew Law was a coin collector because he chose to tell you. Thats how it usually was with him- he only shared the parts of himself he wanted to share. (Though you did also have a knack for “catching his vibe” as you liked to say.) Anyhow, you also knew his office was painfully tidy and there was little to no decoration, despite having ample bookshelf space. And so, a display for his not-so-secret hobby seemed like a perfect gift!

But, that wasn’t the only thing you’d added to his present. There was also a card, in which you’d written something along the lines of “I’m so glad I met you…. You deserve so many great things, but hopefully this coin display will suffice for now… I have feelings for you…. Merry Christmas! xxx, y/n” You had sort of just slipped in the confession between other clauses.

“And did you read the card…?” Your face suddenly feels a little warmer. Not that there was anything scandalous in the card, just some very honest words about your feelings for Law. Words you hadn’t ever been bold enough to say out loud and in person, and still hadn’t been brave enough to write without lots of other thoughts and well wishes surrounding them.

“Card?…” You hear some shuffling on his end, “I’ll read it now.”

“Mkay.” Your short response is a telltale sign of your own nerves, which makes him curious to find out what you could’ve written.

There’s a prolonged silence as he reads, and Law’s heart skips a beat as he nears the end. His eyes go back over and over 5 specific words: “…I have feelings for you.” He feels nearly giddy with excitement, but it comes out as pure anxious energy. He never thought this would actually happen; a scenario where you reciprocated his affections had only ever happened in his imagination up until now. Usually in these scenarios, he’d have worked up the courage and audacity to tell you how he felt in person, and not only would you accept his confession; you’d also return his feelings. But now that it was actually happening? He found himself at a loss for words, heart beating in his ears and probably blushing like some lovesick idiot.

Law wants to say something perfect for you, something charming and witty, but all he can think of in the moment is, “… I read it.”

His throat feels dry, like he doesn’t know what else to say. Law likes you too of course- how could he not? Ever since you’d met back in Saobody Archipelago, though the interaction had been brief, he’d thought you were beautiful, strong, and somehow a little different from the other Straw Hat Pirates. Then he’d gotten to know you; really know you, beyond your fighting capabilities and the information on your bounty poster. You were kind, witty, selfless, hardworking, and so much more. And alas, absence only makes the heart grow fonder.

Sure, you’d started off as allies, but that quickly became friendship, and a close friendship at that. He liked you because of your acceptance for nearly anyone, so long as they seemed a good person. Even more so, your ability to understand his emotions despite his usually reserved nature (he secretly thinks it’s some sort of sign, but in reality you’re just emotionally intelligent.) And you like Law because of his obvious (though he tries to hide it) love and passion for so many things: his crew, his work, etc. This, along with his witty, albeit odd sense of humor, made you enjoy his company quite a lot. The two of you took most every chance you had to be in each others company, since they were few and far between. Sometimes you’d chat, with you doing most of the talking and Law being content to listen and only add comments where he thought them necessary. Other times you’d follow each other into battle to provide support for the other, though neither of you had ever really needed help in those situations.

You swallow the lump in your own throat and continue, “You don’t have to have an answer or anything right now, I just want you to know how I feel.” Law doesn’t say anything, and so you continue while trying not to sound disappointed. “Merry Christmas, Law.”

“…”

“Law?”

“I like you too.” his words come out sort in a rush, like he had been holding his breath.

“Y-you do?”

“Yeah.”

You can’t help but smile.

“Well, uh, I have to go now, but… Can I call you tonight?” He asks hesitantly, even though you’ve already confessed that you feel the same way he does.

“Yes, that’s fine! I… I was worried that you didn’t feel the same way for a second.” You laugh, light and airy.

He scoffs, but you know it’s not meant to sound mean when it comes from him. If anything, it’s endearing. “Of course I do.”

You giggle again, “Bye, Law.”

“Bye, y/n.”

As soon as you hang up, his nervous frown turns into a small smile, and it grows and spreads across his face until he’s grinning like a fool and hiding his face under the brim of his hat.

One Piece Characters w/ an S/O who celebrates Ramadan

Characters: Luffy, Sanji, Crocodile, Robin

A/n: this is for me and the three other Muslim OP fans here just vibing 😂 cultural notes at the bottom in case you didn't know/just curious about some of the terms here.

Luffy

Absolutely does not get it, I think he has a heart attack hearing the words “no food or water” and does not listen to anything else after.

“WHY CANT WE EAAAAT??? WHAT????”

Blows his mind you would do this… he’s trying his best, poor guy <3

I GOTTA STRESS HE IS TRYING- HE WANTS TO DO THIS WITH YOU

But you know, he’s Luffy, so that means after an hour or two he gives up and just raids the kitchen.

Task failed but you know he’ll always stay up late for iftar and wake up early for suhur.

Sanji

He at first thought you were trying to- god forbid- starve yourself or diet and nearly screamed.

When you explain the reasoning, he’s touched and wants to support you! So that means he’s absolutely doing everything he can to make sure you’re hydrated and getting all the nutrients you can get whenever you can.

He makes you a completely separate dish from the others while you’re working or resting (so your food is fresh and ready when you break your fast!).

Self-indulgent thought he’s so so so on top of things when it comes to your meals in general, he will never put wine or meat in your meals, and he makes to sure clean the area and use separate pans for when he cooks your meals. Absolutely refuses to give you anything that goes against your beliefs (I need him in my life).

Please, he’s buying you dates and getting up with you to make sure you’re drinking plenty of water and eating right. Sleep schedule be damned, he’s not messing around with your health!!!!

Crocodile

Now, he’s one of the few who actually knows what Ramadan is- he’s made Alabasta his “home” for a while and has participated in many celebrations or events to keep up appearances.

He kinda just humors you at first like “yeah, yeah, go be spiritual or whatever” and chuckles at you with that sexy voice of his.

But he sees how dedicated you are, maybe sees you reading or praying and okay… his heart kinda melts. He’s never really believed in such things, not finding it useful for him, but seeing you just kinda makes him curious.

Easily can fast alongside you, he just doesn’t make a big deal of it and insists that it’s simply due to him ‘not feeling hungry’ or ‘finding it boring to eat alone’ (sure, sure you big tsun).

Makes sure your chefs are giving you only the best and freshest foods possible- he’s especially harsh about the food when it comes to Ramadan.

I’m trying so hard not to inject my MENA!Croc addled brain into this piece so so hard I AM TRYING OKAY GUYS

But can you imagine him going to the mosque with you or listening to you discuss or read the Quran and he’s just playing it cool but his eyes are so drawn to you and he wonders if you’re an angel and that he really, really does not deserve someone like you because he’s done so many bad things and wheeeeeeze-

Robin

She’s an elegant and refined woman, one who will 100% want to be involved in your traditions.

She finds your beliefs fascinating and takes it upon herself to join you in your Ramadan.

It took her a bit of getting used to, but after a few days, it quickly grew on her.

Robin likes having tea with you during suhur, alongside a few fresh fruits Sanji had gotten. Light meals are best for her and she prefers to enjoy your company and take it easy before the dawn.

She likes to keep track of the days and times of when you two begin and break your fasts- she’ll make sure to keep note of the Shawwal moon so you two (and the rest of the crew) can celebrate the Eid together!

Since it’s a time of reflection, Robin decides to sit quietly and talk about her feelings and experiences with you. She did have some reservations and guilt that she was too “demonic” to celebrate this with you, but through your encouragement, she felt better and continued it alongside you.

Oh, she loves getting the henna done, too. She makes sure to have lots of flowers on her arms and is in love with the patterns.

Cultural Notes:

Ramadan is the 9th month of the Islamic calendar, which is based on the lunar cycle- hence why you’ll often see debates on when Ramadan starts/ends or why it begins about a week or two earlier than before, since the lunar calendar is shorter than the solar calendar (or Gregorian, the one we normally use).

Muslims fast for a month from dawn until sunset (there are restrictions of course) so no water or food from that time.

Sahur/Suhur/Suhoor: the meal you eat before the dawn comes.

Iftar: the meal you eat to break your fast at sunset.

Shawwal is the 10th month of the Islamic calendar, so Ramadan ends when you see the Shawwal moon that starts a new month.

Eid: the big celebration that marks the end of Ramadan. Usually you go do a special prayer or have a big gathering with your family and enjoy yourselves.

Luffy

Here’s the thing. Out of the bunch, Luffy is the one you go to to have fun and get that adrenaline rush every child wants to have. But he’s also the one you spend the most time with least, because the other Straw Hats are deliberately trying to make sure you don’t spend as much time with Luffy for the sake of your safety and adulthood. It’s not the first time Luffy accidentally left you in the middle of a dangerous battle between the marines to beat some admiral up, or throwing you to the side and throwing some stuff on you and ordering you to stay still. While Luffy loves playing with you and having fun around the Sunny, yeah no Nami ain’t gonna let that happen. Luffy’ll still do anything to entertain you and make you have a fun and stressless childhood, and even if he does forget he’s babysitting sometimes and children are less durable than adults, you still love him like he’s your big brother.

Zoro

I’d imagine Zoro tolerating you and treating you like how he treats Chopper. He’d reluctantly play with you, doing whatever you want, but oftentimes he’s just asleep, and you’d have to wake him up if you wanted to play with him. But if you fall asleep on him or next to him, be sure you’re either going to wake up in his arms or in your bed snugly tucked in. He’d also be the one to randomly find you under a pile of rags and clothes on the ground after getting lost in the battlefield, and pick you up and bring you to the Sunny to safety. Everyone was of course overprotective of you, but Zoro was high up on that list. Lord have mercy on whoever tries to ask you out when you grow older.

Sanji

Sanji would give you prince/princess treatment 100%, making you extra food each meal with all the nutrients you need to grow strong and healthy, whilst teaching you how to cook and ramble about the All Blue. He had even stopped smoking regularly for your lung’s sake, and the only time you could see him smoke was at night during his shift of watching over the Sunny. He would berate Zoro if ‘he was too rough with you’ or Luffy if ‘he was being too reckless with you’, but then proceed to roundhouse kick anyone he sees getting near you, which definitely was a good influence to your little kid mind.

Nami

Nami was your big sister to you, always taking you out on shopping sprees, dressing you up in clothes she bought for you. You were always either with her or with Robin when the Sunny docked, as Nami bought anything you wanted to have. She’d also beat and scream the living soul out of any man or person that stares at you for far too long, giving them a good whack with her clima tact. Nami also doesn’t charge you any money or have a tax when you ask for money from her, since she’s buying everything for you willingly anyways. Every night, you, her and Robin would make a little fort in your room, and talk about the day and what you liked and didn’t. Nami was just your big sister you could go to for anything.

Robin

MOMMY ROBIN 100%. You are now her child, and she is your mother. Robin was the one who’d berate Luffy if he did something that could potentially harm you. She’d scold Sanji for smoking in front of you, Zoro if he cussed. She made sure you would have a safe and healthy environment around you as you grew up on deck, seeing that life on ship wasn’t like life on land. She would teach you academics and all that, making sure you would keep up with your academics and won’t slack. When the crew was getting loud and rowdy, she’d always keep you close to her, letting you put your hands around her shoulders as you tried to sleep under the noise, or just feel Robin’s presence next to you. At night, she’d personally tuck you in, read you a bedtime story, give you a little kiss on your forehead before leaving. Robin was, if not, the most overprotective of you amongst the rest. She saw you as a copy of herself when she was younger, and she was determined to give you the childhood she did not have.

After rolling around on the bed, you both pulled away slightly; the smile turning more faint the more you gazed into each other's eyes. Your hand was laid on his chest. He brought his to it: holding it, tracing your knuckles tenderly.

The memory of his laughs were still lingering on his lips, which made them that much more inviting. You being the first to lean in, your timidness was met with a reassuring kiss.

Exploring this newfound part of your relationship, your exchanges started to deepen. Shifting himself onto his side, you rolled on your back to accommodate the change. Your legs still entangled, he began subconsciously humping your leg.

This was risky, you knew it was, but it happened on an impulse and it was too late to turn back now. Your pulse quickened as you snuck off into the girl’s room with your newest acquired treasure. You paused at the door and pressed your ear to it to listen for anyone else heading this way.

Nothing. You’re in the clear.

Scurrying over to your bed, you fish the rolled up piece of paper from your sleeve. You didn’t even think about it when you saw the bounty poster on the wall. It was like your hands had a mind of their own, ripping it down and stuffing the poster into your sleeve without your brain even fully registering the action.

Sure, this could backfire if someone finds you with it, but so long as you’re careful it should be fine.

Unrolling the paper, you can’t help but giggle and kick your feet at the sight of the man on the poster. It felt silly to be so giddy over just seeing a picture of the man, but you couldn’t help it. Buggy had this sort of goofy charm to him, and it had a chokehold on you. You’ve always found people like that endearing, it’s a majority of the reason you joined Luffy’s crew.

This time though, the endearment went beyond being platonic. Instead of simply feeling a warm fondness towards Buggy, you found your heart beating erratically when you thought about him too much. The last time you’d seen him in person and made eye contact, you immediately felt blood rush to your face and had to avert your eyes.

In short, you were down bad.

You were so transfixed on the poster, that you didn’t hear anyone approaching the room until the door was thrown open. In a panic, you leap up from your bed and held the poster close to your chest in an attempt to shield it from prying eyes.

Nami was standing in the doorway, looking confused and slightly startled by your strange reaction to her entering your shared room. She wasn’t dumb, much to your chagrin, and quickly took note of how flustered you look. Then her eyes drifted down to the poorly concealed poster and you could practically see the lightbulb come on over her head.

Her lips curled into a grin, “What’cha got there, (y/n)?” The way she stalked towards you was downright predatory, making you feel like a mouse being cornered by a house cat.

“Nothing! Nothing at all, just a piece of paper!”

“Just a piece of paper? I don’t know about that, it looks like a bounty poster to me,” her smile looked downright malicious as she circled you, trying to get close enough to take it from you. “I wonder why you would be keeping a bounty poster to yourself like this?” Nami definitely already knew the answer, but she wanted you to say it.

“No reason! I just- Um- I don’t even know how this got here! It must have slipped into my pocket while we were out! Yeah!” You internally cringed at how bad that lie was. Even Luffy was a better liar than this.

Nami cackled at your attempt, “Oh really, that’s the story you’re going with? Come on, just be honest with me. We’re both girls here, you can tell me about your crush!”

You whip your head around to glare at her, “I don’t have a crush!” You absolutely did.

With a speed you didn’t think she possessed, she leapt forward and snatched away the paper. You tried to get it back, but she held it out of reach and used her free hand to push you away, “Yes you do~! I can’t believe you would keep this from me, we’re friends! We’re supposed to talk about things like this.”

Nami danced out of your way, and you swear it felt like the world was in slow motion as she finally pulled the poster down to be able to look at it. Immediately, the mischievous glint in her eyes went cold and her smile dropped. The once coy and amused expression morphed into one of pure horror as she looked between you and the poster in rapid succession.

“No,” was all she said as she shook her head in disbelief, “you can’t be serious.”

“How about you give me that, and we can forget all about this. Please?” You wanted to crawl into a hole and never be seen again. This was the one thing you didn’t want to happen, and her reaction is precisely why.

You can assume she didn’t like your response based on her soured expression and the way her hands crumpled the paper in her tight grip. Without another word, she ran out of the room.

With. The. Poster.

That was how you got to where you are now. Forced to sit at a table with three of your crewmates sitting with you. Nami, Luffy, and Zoro specifically.

“Guys please this is so dramatic!”

“It’s not! This is a serious matter, one we can’t let slide!” Nami slammed her fists onto the table that you were all seated at. Why were you all gathered here? For an intervention regarding your taste in men.

It was bad enough that she knew, but why did she have to drag your other crew members into this? You can’t say you understand her choices either. Luffy was hardly the type to weigh in on someone’s love affairs, and Zoro wasn’t even awake.

“Why are we all here? Are we gonna play a game or something?” Luffy was drumming his fingers on the table impatiently.

Nami slams the partially crumpled wanted poster on the table, “This is why we’re here!”

Your face was buried in your hands and you let out an over the top groan from the sheer embarrassment of the situation.

“Buggy? What about him?” Luffy perks up, “Oh! Are we gonna go kick his ass again?!”

“You and me both know why you have this, so how about you just tell the truth so we can fix this,” Nami sounded like a mother scolding her child.

Luffy was looking back and forth between you two, trying to put together what was going on. You could practically hear the gears turning in his head, “Are you planning to fight him? Oh, I know! You’re trying to be a bounty hunter!” He looked to Nami expectantly, hoping for confirmation that he was right.

She pinched the bridge of her nose and let out a sharp sigh, “No, Luffy, she isn’t trying to become a bounty hunter.”

Whatever, you’re just going to go ahead and rip the bandaid off, “I have a little crush on him, okay? There! Are you happy? Can I go now?”

“No! How can anyone be happy knowing that?!” Nami yelled. “Why him of all people?! He’s literally a clown!”

“... He makes me laugh.”

Luffy exploded into laughter, “What’s that got to do with it? I make you laugh all the time, more than he does I bet!”

You tried to get up and leave, but Nami’s hand latched onto your wrist like an iron shackle. With one yank, you fell back into the chair.

“Please just stop! Why are you even doing this? It doesn’t matter if I have a crush on him or anyone else for that matter, so can we please act like none of this ever happened?” You wanted to cry from the humiliation of being shamed by your friends over a little crush.

Luffy shrugged and nodded along, “It is pretty funny, but I agree with (y/n). Why are you so mad about it, Nami?” Bless him. Even though he did laugh at you previously, at least he was attempting to deescalate the situation now.

“Because she is crushing on Buggy the Clown of all people!”

“Why is that such an issue?! He’s cute!” You tried to defend yourself (and him).

“Eww! No he isn’t!” Nami full on shuddered at you calling him that, “What is wrong with you? At least fall for someone good looking!”

She had a point, and you hated it. You huffed, “Yeah, well, I don’t care. He’s my type and that’s that.”

Nami gagged like the drama queen she was dedicated to being in this moment, “I almost want to set you up with someone else just to give you better taste, how is a clown your type?!” She ground her teeth in frustration, “Okay, new rule: you’re not allowed to leave the ship if Buggy is around.”

“Why is everyone yelling?” Zoro yawned and stretched, looking around the table with mild curiosity.

Nami slapped the back of his head, “I brought you here to help, not to sleep! (Y/N) is crushing on Buggy and we’re trying to stop her.”

“Oh,” Zoro didn’t look all that concerned. “So are we gonna kill him or something?”

“NO!” You shrieked at him. What is wrong with these people?!

“That would take care of the problem,” Nami hummed thoughtfully. “We can’t risk letting this become something more, what if she tried to leave to be with him?”

Luffy laughed at that, “It’s not like I’ll let that happen!”

“What do you mean you won’t let that happen?” That honestly threw you off a bit. What was that supposed to mean?

“It means that I won’t let him take you away from us!” Luffy flashed you his usual blinding smile, but there was something slightly… off about it. It felt a little too wide, and weirdly tense.

“Take me away? No one is trying to ‘take me away’. Besides, if I wanted to leave to be with someone, then I’m allowed to do that,” you were distinctly not a fan of how he was talking about you as if you were a piece of treasure being fought over.

The entire atmosphere of the room changed the second you finished speaking. All eyes were on you, “See! This is what I was talking about! If she gets a crush on someone, she’s going to want to leave!” Nami’s hand found its way to your wrist again, you were sure you’d have a bruise from how tight her grip was.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, let’s all calm down! I didn’t mean I was going to leave just like that! I like it here, really!” You tried to placate your crewmates, but your pleas did nothing to sooth them. It was too late to backpedal now.

“We’ll have to get rid of him next time we see him,” Luffy nodded resolutely.

Zoro shrugged, “Should be easy enough.”

Yandere! One Piece ASL

Yandere! Monkey D. Luffy

🌟 Would be super clingy to the point that it’d be unbearable.

🌟 Luffy is already protective of his crew mates but with you it’s 100000 times worse. If he so much as sees a paper cut on you he’s going to act like you’re dying and the world is falling apart. He would immediately bring you to Chopper for a check up.

🌟 Whenever you’re around he acts like a lost puppy. He likes to follow you around a lot even around the ship. When you guys explore an island he makes sure to always hold your hand.

🌟 In order for him to sleep comfortably he needs to be coiled around you like a snake. His hold is very tight, there’s no way your getting out of that.

🌟 You most likely met him when he was a child. He probably saw you in town with some tasty food and you ended up offering some to him. Gradually over time, he kept coming back to you and before you knew it, he’s beside you 24/7.

🌟 Made a promise to you that when he becomes pirate king he would make you his pirate queen. Even after you repeatedly told him that you don’t want to become a pirate.

🌟 Definitely kidnaps you off of Dawn Island so that you can join him on his pirate adventures.

🌟 No matter how strong you are he always worries about your safety and fights your fights for you. When Luffy encounters his first battle at sea, he makes sure to lock u somewhere safe.

🌟 Will surprisingly share his food with you and makes you sit next to him when it’s dinner time. You’re the only person that he does not steal food from.

🌟 Everything that he owns is basically yours too. He is willing to share anything he has in order to make you happy.

🌟 You’re the only one on the crew who he actively listens to. Which delights Nami most of the time. Will listen to your words like it’s a lifeline. The only thing that he ignores is when you pleads to leave.

🌟 Is an attention whore and enjoys when your eyes are on him. If their not he will actively whine until he gets your attention. “Awhhh come on pay attention me”

🌟 If you ever try to run away he would just lock you in a room until he thinks you learned your lesson. Won’t ever hurt you physically, he can’t bare to see you in pain.

🌟 Over all compared to other One Piece characters, Luffy is not the worst Yandere to have. He loves you with all his heart besides what would a king do without HIS QUEEN.

Yandere! Sabo

🌟 Is 100% a manipulative little shit. He knows exactly what he wants and how he’s going to get it.

🌟 He wants you to have exactly zero communication with anyone but him. Koala is the only exception though, he’ll allow you to have her as your only friend.

🌟 Is the type to kill anyone he views as a love rival instantly in broad daylight. Like why are they talking to you don’t they know you’re his?

🌟 He imprisons you in a room so that the only one you can see is him. He gets so thrilled knowing that you’re depending on him to bring you food and other necessities.

🌟 You’re only allowed to eat if he hand feeds you. You just look so cute sitting on his lap while he spoon feeds you your lunch.

🌟 If you ever tried to escape he would be so furious. In retaliation, he would drag you back and break both of your knee caps so that you won’t ever run away again. Don’t you know he’s doing this for love? Why won’t you just listen?!

🌟 I can see you being a normal civilian he met in a village while stocking up for supplies. He falls in love the moment he sees you smilie, it’s just so mesmerizing. From then on he approaches you to get to know you better and is completely smitten over your personality.

🌟 He decides to kidnap you when he realizes that he needs to leave before the marines catch him. He believes that everything he does is justified because you simply just belong to him. Would definitely gaslight you if you said otherwise.

🌟 At night, he sleeps while holding you in a possessive hug. Whenever you need to get up to use the bathroom or drink some water you can feel his eyes linger on your body.

🌟 To be honest he’s probably just waiting for the Stockholm syndrome to kick in already. All he wants is for you to love him, why won’t you understand that?!?!

🌟 Enjoys listening to your voice, it’s the only thing that can get him to relax and calm down after a long day. You’re basically his lifeline.

🌟 Wishes to one day grow old and have children with you. It’s one of his biggest dreams and he just couldn’t imagine a life without you at this point. You just mean so much to him.

🌟 Does not care if anyone criticizes his actions. He’s going to continue to do his thing not matter what anyone says. Besides if they ever tried to do something to stop him he could easily just kill them.

🌟 Over all compared to the other two he’s probably the worst yandere to have due to how possessive he is. With him as your partner you most likely could never run away.

Yandere! Portgas D. Ace

🌟 Is the most touch-starved out of the three. Please hold this man he desperately needs a hug (and a shower).

🌟 Loves to be near you and talk to you. You don’t even have to do anything he just likes hanging around or being with you.

🌟 Whenever you guys visit an island your not leaving empty handed. Ace loves spoiling you with trinkets and goods.

🌟 I could definitely see Ace falling for a nurse who’s a part of the Whitebeard pirates. After Ace gets defeated by Whitebeard, he wakes up from his mini coma and sees you, the nurse who’s been taking care of him.

🌟 When he meets you for the first time he thinks that you’re really pretty but won’t admit that out loud. You found it very amusing when Ace would try to assassinate Whitebeard and fail miserably every time.

🌟 Due to this, it becomes a common occurrence for Ace to visit you to get treated. Each time he goes to you he can’t help but think that you’re extremely charming and enchanting.

🌟 It takes him a while to actually realize his feeling but when he does he’s head over heels for you. He’s probably the only one who realizes his yandere tendencies and tries to change them but fails to each time. He wants to be the best version of himself for you it’s hard sometimes.

🌟 He gets jealous of other people really quickly and hates how they take away so much of your attention. Ironically, Ace hates resorting to violence against love rivals and will instead try to guilt trip you into hanging out with him. “Please spend some time with me, I’ve been so lonely”

🌟 Ace is a simple man, his mood most of the time depends on your mood. If you’re happy he’s happy, if you’re mad he’s mad. The crew honestly thinks it’s really weird but ignores it most of the time.

🌟 He goes absolutely feral whenever you put on his hat. He swears to God that he feels time stop and believes you’re the cutest thing in existence.

🌟 If you ever decide to reject his affections he’ll emotionally manipulate you into thinking that you’re a terrible person and that he’s just doing things that are in your best interests.

🌟 Loves it when you play with his hair. It’s so therapeutic to him and will whine once you take you hand off of his head.

🌟 Due to his narcolepsy, Ace sleeps very often and whenever he feels the urge to fall asleep he grabs you. He basically uses you as his personal teddybear. He has an extremely tight grip that you can’t seem to get out of no matter what you do.

🌟 Even though he acts dumb most of the time, he’s surprisingly smart when he needs to be. You can always count on him to be by your side when you need to fix a problem. He makes sure that he is as reliable as possible. Only the best for his bbg.
