Daniel for the 'send me a character' thing
Send me a character and I'll do the thing!
Sexuality Headcanon: He’s definitely on the bi side of the scale, but I think he skews a lot closer to gay and probably identifies more as gay, especially in the 70s in the circles that he and Armand traveled in. Although I don’t think Daniel has ever been particularly picky about labels applied to him in that sense, either.
Gender Headcanon: Daniel is the opposite of toxic masculinity. He can be masculine and he has body hair for days, but he’s generally soft-spoken and gentle. Cis, but not worried about being manly enough, you know?
A ship I have with said character: Armand/Daniel is my OTP of all time. I think he and Armand are just two halves of a whole and they make each other better. I absolutely think they’re soulmates in the deepest sense of the word. There’s the joke that Daniel is sort of Armand-sexual but I think it’s sort of true. Armand is the love of his life and the feeling is mutual.
And sometimes Daniel/Marius? Please don’t hurt me, but I go back and forth on whether I see him and Marius as romantic. The first time I read PL, it felt very platonic. Marius had spent a long time as Daniel’s caregiver and while they’re obviously close and connected, it didn’t read to me as anything romantic and the asexual in me longs for more platonic ships in this fandom. But I think the vampires can have a lot of intimacy without getting hot and heavy (this is true of humans too btw). I do think as a romantic ship, it's hot as hell and tbh I’ve written it both ways. I can enjoy it both ways! But in my personal fanonverse, it’s something I waiver on a lot. I do think they’re good together either way!
A BROTP I have with said character: Daniel and Lestat (it’s a BroTP with benefits, bonus points if it’s with Armand as an OT3). They just have a fun dynamic. They can get into trouble together and cause chaos, but they also sort of even each other out. Daniel allows Lestat to open up a little more than he usually does because he’s a good listener, non-judgemental, and adept at asking the right questions. Lestat allows Daniel to vent about Armand (in an affectionate way - we all need to get things off our chests!) and he appreciates Daniel’s sense of humor and wit. They both liking having fun and doing random shit.
A NOTP I have with said character: I don’t know that I have any real NOTPs with him. Maybe Santino? I don’t personally see him having any sort of romantic relationship with Louis, I see them as being friends who both have great love for Armand, but I’m not bothered by the idea either.
A random headcanon: When Daniel was recovering from his madness, Armand sent him an iPod when he heard Daniel sometimes got overwhelmed by noise. Daniel became obsessed with the podcasts at the time, mostly radio shows, things like Radio Lab, This American Life, and Stuff You Should Know. After he moves back into Trinity Gate, he and Armand listen to his favorite episodes of these together and have long discussions about them afterward.
General Opinion over said character: I think Daniel is neat. He’s affable, he’s friendly, he’s good at making conversation. He’s curious and up for almost anything, which is why he and Armand work so well. He’s funny and has a dark, sardonic sense of humor. He laughs easily, maybe too easily, but he’s pretty easy to get along with. He’s generally pretty agreeable but he isn’t afraid to speak up when necessary. He’s a cool dude. I dig him.

Jurgen/Cain + Amberley: The OG. The two bros. Those two fuck, and are not even subtle about it. Amberley like to join, because Jurgen aint so bad after he take a shower, and Cain is a cuddler. It's less of a relationship and more of a deep affection and trust between them 3. Best OT3
Gaunt/Rawne: oh those two FUCK. HARD. It's less of a relationship and more of a "fucking hell your still alive you bitch" type of deal. Very sexy.
Larkin/Bragg: I love them. So much. Surprisingly amount of good fanfic about them on ao3, because EVERYONE could see that those two were in love.
Obyron/Zahndrekh: GAY!!! ROBOTS!!! I don't take any criticisms, I will ship them until the heat death of the universe.

Talos/Half the fucking night lord: I love Talos. He's my baby boy. But my god. He has such slut energy. He hit me as the kind who get lowkey frustrated and ask for a fuck instead of a fight. He's a poetic lover boy.
Thiel/Literally anyone: Listen. This baby deserve the world. He's too wild and free to be stuck surrounded by boring ultramarines. Give him a nice boyfriend.
Kharn/Argel Tal: the gay dudebros. Incredibly oblivious, the two of them. The kind that go "It's not gay if the dick don't touch right?". Would have probably adopted a ton of rescue dogs and ride motorcycle in another life, they just have that vibe.
THE PRIMARCH (there's gonna be a whole lot of those lmao I love them)
Guilliman/Yvraine: this one make me cackle so hard. Ofc mister boyscout would go for the big tidies eldar goth gf. He would bring ber to family dinner too, and only half because he wanted to see everyone loose their shit.
Leman/Lion: The only Lion ship I can tolerate. Lion must be deep in the closet and go "stupid sexy Leman I want to punch him >:(". It's a fun one.
Leman/Magnus: Toxic. Ex. The kind that burn down your shit on the front lawn and crash your car, and you still sleep with them two weeks later. I adore them. They are the best if you are in the mood for spicy stuff.
Magnus/Kitten: TTS still got me by the THROAT, and those two are just perfect. If I have to force Kitten in every warhammer media, trust me, *i fucking will.* Probably my actual fav ship on this entire list.
Magnus/Perturabo: Pert is my problematic fav, and I want him happy. Clearly, he only love and care for ONE boy and one boy only, and it's Magnus. Pert would be romantic af toward him, you can't change my mind
Perturabo/Calliphone: the only woman he ever loved, truly. She was his soul, and ngl, he should have just taken her with him when he left, life would have been BETTER for everyone.
Sevatar/Konrad: Do i need to get into this one? Really??? Yall know how much I love those two. I made an entire post about them. Just find my Konrad tag lmao.
Konrad/Vulkan: I know, that's a odd one, but I firmly believe Konrad hated our man partly because he was high key attracted to him and it was freaking him out. Vulkan would never... Unless Konrad got *all the therapy*. I will probably ramble about it more one day lmao.
Fulgrim/Ferrus Manus: They are cannonly together your honor, I swear! I snuck into gw and saw all the sexy secret art of them kissing. They are just hiding it away from us.
Horus/Sanguinius: Those two are married. That's canon. You just need to read the Horus heresy in its entirety while high af and listening to Celine Dion backward. You then acess all the secret chapter chapter where they are married.
Emperor/Valdor: SOMEONE has to keep big E company and call him a bitch ass dumbfuck for all the move he make, and Valdor can have that role!!

Welcome to Live Commentary
I had no one to talk to while watching the movie and I hate being alone with my thoughts so I wrote everything down in my notes app. It's not coherent! Enjoy!

The beginning felt a bit forced to me but maybe that's just me? Like they just tried to squeeze too many things into a small timeframe without any buildup, it just didn't really work. Congrats on the engagement! This is my OTP so I'm very happy! But it came out of nowhere.

Nomura is still dead because she died on screen and I can't really deny that but she's with Draal so it's okay. Everyone is traumatized but they'll be fine. NotEnrique is still babysitting 500 babies and Steve is about to bring 7 more.
In summary, I reject Groundhog Day ending but everything else was great, as long as it actually happened. It was a good movie. But you can't just cancel years of passion. Having the prospect of a million "canon AUs" sounds great for writing but at the same time nooo you can't do that he didn't have to go back THAT far HHHHH
I liked the movie. It was a great watch and a satisfying end to a franchise, but I gotta say I do not fancy the ending of it so I will from now on be in denial. I honestly feel kind of betrayed that this show was my whole life for so long, I learned every smallest fact, and they basically deleted it from existence. I know what they were going for, I think, but no thank you I will be going with my own opinion. Still gonna rewatch it a few dozen times though ✌🏻

K this got LONG so here's a read more!
1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
Honestly even though I don't multi-ship often I DO usually get the appeal behind ships so this is a really short list. This will probably get me some hate but I still to this day can't get behind c/ex@ from the show that will not be named. But then again I do get the appeal of two super attractive women with chemistry and the whole ruler/ girl who makes the ruler change their ways thing. So I guess I get it even if I don't like it?
Also, and this is not to hate on Hinny, but Harry and Ginny from HP are not my cup of tea. I like what fandom has done for them but the actual content we get for them in the books (and movies, but I prefer the books) isn't enough for me to love them. Same with Mal and Alina from S & B/ Grishaverse, they're so bland to me in the books but the show is doing far better with them and actually making Mal ya know. Likeable. Again, I don't ship it, but best friends to lovers is top tier so I get it.
Oh! I also don't really get Dwalin/Ori from The Hobbit, but that is probably in large part because I'm a Dwalin/Nori shipper. Again though, all of the secondary characters' relationships in The Hobbit rely on fans to extrapolate HARD and wear extreme shipper goggles, and ik there's that scene where Dwalin helps Ori out of the river so like.. maybe that's where it's from? I don't hate it or anything but it's always something that's made me go ??? cause I have no idea where the heck it came from.
Apart from that... I can't think of any rn? I feel like I understand where all the PJO ships come from, even if I don't ship them. There are a couple that I don't understand how they can be someone's OTP, just because I find them super boring (no offense to those who ship C@leo or J@siper but I just don't love how Rick handled those relationships). In TSC I think fandom mainly vibes with the same pairings and that's true for most of my book fandoms. With the shows I watch I don't think fans majorly ship anything too out there for me. Maybe I don't interact enough with fandoms to tell. So this is all I got.
5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?
Oh my god, oh my god, this is a can of worms, my lord. A pairing I'm not so sure about, but characters? Abso-fucking-lutely. I took a break from PJO fandom for exactly that reason and the list of characters is endless honestly, for multiple fandoms.
I won't say fandom ruined Bell@rke for me cause I still ship it, but I definitely lost enthusiasm with how toxic the shows fandom was and then that was made even worse when the show completely destroyed itself with the worst writing and plots ever in the latter seasons.
Also I have a feeling that G@me of Thrones/ @soiaf ruined one for me but I can't remember this very second. Maybe not, and again that's probably cause I don't interact with fandoms en masse, usually just through fic and following a few people I vibe with in each.
6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?
Yes, quite a few! I used to dislike Drarry (for obvious reasons I feel) and Romione (as a kid I wanted Hermione to be with Harry and even when I grew out of that I really didn't like she was with Ron) but fandom changed that for sure. And same with Darklina now, I was upset cause I felt like the books really underutilized their relationship and fell short of what could have been a super awesome pairing if better explored, but the show fandom is taking it in so many different ways that I'm starting to really love them despite the reasons I shouldn't.
And I won't say I hated Hayffie in THG, but definitely the only reason I ship them is from reading @ellanainthetardis's fic Have a Drink Sweetheart and then all the others written for them. That portrayal of Hayffie and the characters have become my own headcanons now because I've been reading them for so long and they're so good.
Fandom made me ship Leon and Morgana from Merlin too, though that's very lowkey. I never hated them, I just never thought of them as a pairing until reading fic.
20. What is the purest ship in the fandom?
Percabeth. I don't care which fandom, it's Percabeth. Growing up together, going from enemies to friends to best friends to lovers? The establishment of them being best friends and the way Rick wrote that friendship was so pure, and they are a couple with no internal problems, all external, and you just know they're gonna be together through everything, fighting at each other's side, cause that's the way they are. There's a reason they're my OTP and it's cause they are the most well-established, ride or die couple I can think of. They're just so solid.
21. What are your thoughts on crack ships?
Love em for fandom but personally I very rarely get behind crackships just because I usually need a lot of build up, scenes, good dialogue and chemistry, etc. to ship something, so most of my ships aren't crack ships. The only one I can really think of that I actively root for and ship and would read fic for is Billy/ Owen from 911 Lonestar which is just... something.
Like idk if Barduil from The Hobbit is crack because ik it's quite popular... what makes a ship a crack ship anyway? Lack of canon reference? Is it cause they two characters would be so random together because they barely ever interact? Or because it's SO unrealistic you know for sure it will never happen but want it to anyway? Or is it lack of popularity in fandom? I need someone to define this so I have a better answer :D if it's the second option then I have MANY
I love seeing fandom stuff for crack ships though, cause seriously, it's fiction, ship who you want. If you ship two characters just cause you think they're pretty side by side then that's enough for me. Make all of the fan art and fic you like.
22. Popular character you hate?
Oof. Jason from HOO. And Leo in everything after The Lost Hero. I hated Piper in The Lost Hero and Mark of Athena but like her after those. I don't like any of the book characters from S & B except Nikolai, but I like everyone in the show (except David? Why did they make him so weird? Like he's not even awkward, he's straight up rude imo, but anyway). In @soiaf I don't like Jon Snow, I think he's boring. And I despise Jorah Mormont cause I think he's creepy for having a crush on Dany.
Didn't love Stefan in TVD, too much of a goody-two-shoes. I liked dark Stefan but it felt like a totally different character. Honestly most of the characters I don't like cause they're boring or too by-the-book.
OH! A big one in M@rvel is Captain America. Can't stand him honestly, I like him as a character to have in the story, but I like never agree with him on anything. I like a couple of his one-liners but that's it really. I also don't like Gale in THG, idk if that's controversial. Or Lex@ from the show that will not be named because I think she's manipulative and not good for any of the characters i DO love.
Is Ron popular? I think so. I like fandom Ron but not canon Ron and idk why. I think I'm growing out of it but I read those books when I was like 7 initially so I thought it was awful of Ron to stop being friends with Harry because he was jealous and I never really got over that.
There are so many but I'm gonna stop now.
23. Unpopular character you love?
Again, tons. I love anyone whose got kind of a tortured backstory because it makes them more interesting to me.
I love Movieverse Hawkeye! I think Clint is great and while I wish his deafness was canon in Marvel and I don't love J Remmer, I do love Hawkeye a lot. He was honestly one of the only Marvel characters that felt consistent and in-character throughout the movies.
I like President Snow from THG just cause I think he was a fantastic villain. And Effie and Haymitch aren't unpopular, but they're probably my favourites, again because of the fics mentioned above.
Leon from Merlin!! I don't actually think he's unpopular, but he's like... my fourth favourite character in the show which I know IS considered high for most people.
Sandor Clegane from ASOIAF. Not the show, just the books. His book character is phenomenal and I am so excited for GrrM to finish the goddamn series so I know what happens to him.
The Stolls and Katie Gardner from PJO cause fandom created Tratie and sucked me in at a young age.
Bellatrix Lestrange? Is she unpopular? I don't think so but she's another one I think is a fantastic villain. I'm almost more interested in her than Voldemort tbh.

Your pinned post says matchups are still open, so I’m taking my shot! But if you’re too busy or tired of all the requests by the time you get to mine, no worries. Tbh, I have almost as much fun reading other people’s results, especially when they’re as thoughtful and detailed as yours!
May I please have a Genshin matchup? I’m bi and use she/her pronouns; I’m fine with any gender partner. MBTI-wise, I’ve mostly typed as INTP with the occasional ENTP thrown in. I think INTP fits better (really, really well actually), except that I’m not (usually) that insensitive or socially awkward. I’m not one to chat up a stranger at a party, but I WILL go to the party and enjoy it (if only for free food/drinks, dancing, and maybe some new music), and if someone approaches me they’ll probably find me funny and a good conversationalist. If one of my loved ones is down, my instinct is to help brainstorm a solution to their problem or suggest nice distractions, but if they just want me to listen and comfort them I can do that pretty well. I do have a lot of trouble expressing my own emotions beyond the easy, shallow stuff, and I tend to get very frustrated and impatient when I see someone’s emotions holding them back from acknowledging facts or doing what needs to be done. That’s especially true when I feel like my own emotions of uncertainty or inadequacy are holding me back from the things I want.
More broadly, some words that describe me are imaginative, adventurous, independent, and I guess ambitious. Some might call me laid back, and I am most of the time, but when it comes to my major goals and dreams I’m actually really determined and honestly a little selfish. Like, if I were up against my closest friend for my dream job, I would still do anything (within the bounds of fairness) to get it, and if I lost I would have hard feelings about it (which I would bury deeply until I die, lol). I love, love learning and trying new things, and my ideal partner is someone who can surprise me and teach me stuff without making me feel like their student or sidekick. I want us to have fun together and help each other grow. My main love language (both ways) is quality time, but I can work with pretty much anything else except receiving a lot of gifts which makes me feel, idk, embarrassed? Or pressured to respond with the right level of of happiness?
Socially, I have a small circle of very close friends (many of whom are also family, including my younger brother and some of my cousins), a slightly larger circle of pretty good friends, and a lot of friendly acquaintances - people I like to hang out with, but would never feel comfortable being emotional or vulnerable around. If I have a conflict with someone I try to talk it out, but if we can’t come to an agreement I’m going to quietly do whatever I want. My most toxic trait is ghosting people, because saying goodbye/breaking up is awkward and inefficient, lol. On the other hand, I think my most attractive qualities as a friend/gf are positivity, spontaneity, and attentiveness to the other person’s likes, interests and dreams.
For miscellaneous, I’m 5’1” with really long dark hair (which I’m a little vain about, ngl), gray eyes, freckles, and (I’ve been told) a sweet face that turns super cold when I’m angry. My style is kind of flashy but practical, if that makes sense? Lots of eye-catching colors and patterns, but everything has pockets and I don’t do high heels. I’m a medical student, and my dream is to be a national delegate to the World Health Organization someday. I have a cat - if my partner doesn’t get along with her then we’re over, but she’s basically the laziest, friendliest chonk on the planet so it’s not hard. My hobbies/interests are games (video games obviously, but mostly board games), beer, cooking, dancing (like, club dancing, I’m not disciplined enough for the formal stuff), and movies, especially documentaries.

-Sucrose is more logical than emotional, but not so much that she’s an emotionally unavailable partner! She’s rational, driven, and focused on her work...but, and it’s literally in her game title, she’s an absolute sweetheart. She manages her own emotions and troubles very maturely, communicates rather well, and is attentive enough in her few close relationships to be reliable. She will have her slip-ups occasionally, as everyone does, but she’s understanding about when this happens and when she’s hurt people, and does her best to make it up.
-She herself definitely more on the introverted side, and has a similar stance to you on socializing. She doesn’t always enjoy it because she tends to bring her scientific mindset into conversation and it’s often too fast-paced for her to think about the best ways to interact with people. She does like people, however. So she’s generally more comfortable in an observational role. If you take the lead on conversations, she’ll happily stand at your side and listen quietly--may even pipe in, if she likes the topic enough.
-Your goals, hobbies, and ambitions all line-up really really well! Sucrose would love for you to take an interest in her experiments, and would likely take an interest in your studies without any prompting, too. After all, part of her work in Bio-alchemy is testing how her discoveries much impact or benefit humans. Learning about the human body with you only stands to aid her research further. She’s a student herself, despite working mostly on her own, so she considers you an equal and asks for your help and advice as much as she rambles to you about all the cool stuff she already knows.
-She’d go just about anywhere with you, but by far her favorite dates are documentary nights at home, with pizza and other delicious junk food she doesn’t indulge in otherwise. Bio-alchemy has also led to Sucrose to be very conscious of what she fuels her body with for the most part. She’d also suggest various board games on these nights once she discovers your love of them! She’s fond of them herself, but not always so good. Don’t worry though, she’s not a sore loser. Especially if the wager is a kiss for the winner.
-She very much likes your cat! ...Not just because she’s a cat-girl herself. Sucrose likes all manner of creatures and studying them. She probably conducts various safe experiments on your cat with your blessing, but it’s anyone guess as to what she’s doing exactly. Once she gave your cat some very good brushies and then ran off with all of the loose fur clumps.... Another time she recorded her purring while giving some very good pets!
-Your spontaneity is good for Sucrose! It’s a given that she won’t love all the outings you have together, but she’s open minded and at the very least values new experiences! She has a tendency to stick to her comfortable routines, realizes she might get stuck in a mental rut if she never changes anything up. You’re a blessing for that!

Who does the most cooking? - Sam, because after Sana's father has passed away, she has refused to step into the kitchen for a long while as it brought back memories that were too painful for her to bear.
Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Because they're both athletic persons, they're picky in the way that they find a balance between healthy dishes and greasy ones.
Who does the grocery shopping? - It depends of who has won "rock, paper, scissor".
How often do they bake desserts? - Never, they aren't really desserts people.
Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Once again, it depends of their diet! Sam and Sana enjoy both, and I feel like they've learned how to make healthy salads taste delicious.
Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Hmm, they don't do such things. When their anniversary comes around, they'll probably tease each other about how they've managed to stand each other long enough to be another year together.
Who is more likely to suggest going out? - It depends of who's in the mood to go out! I think they're both comfortable with spending some time outside.
Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking? - None of them.
Chores:
Who cleans the room? - They're both pretty tidy persons, so both!
Who is really against chores? - None of them.
Who cleans up after the pets? - They don't have time for pets.

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - They're both quite relaxed because they only invite people they know well-enough to not feel stressed over.

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - I don't think they're ones to take too long showering or bathing unless they have bathroom sex.

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Rarely, even when they have a kid. Perhaps for Christmas, but that'd be pretty much all.
What are their goals for the relationship? - for it to become less toxic and to always make sure that they communicate their true feelings even if it might upset the other.
Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Sam, because Sana's used to be an early riser!
Who plays the most pranks? - They're both playful and they'd probably compete about it, too! they're totally the kind of couple who play prank on the other and each time they take it the level above!

Character I find most attractive: Matt Boyd. I like tall boys and he is so sweet but also has this chaotic dumbass Bi energy that I love
Character I would marry: Allison. She is attractive, can match my sarcasm, she can take care of me financially, we can judge other people while sipping cocktails at brunch and she would treat me like a queen.
Character I would be best friends with: I wanna say Neil or Andrew cause I would love to be their friend but it’d probably be Kevin. Trauma, drinking and history would bond us.
a random thought: I think that Andrew and Neil don’t adopt a kid in the future, but I can see Andrew and Neil opening or working with some type of youth service/housing for runaway and abused children and teens where they help them through a variety of ways i.e. sports, art therapy, schooling, psychologists and the other foxes donate and take turns helping out.
An unpopular opinion: I don’t really have any unpopular unpopular ones/ I guess it’d have to be that I don’t hate Aaron. He wouldn’t be my favorite character but I see all his actions through his trauma and his twisted relationship with Andrew.
My Canon OTP: Andrew/Neil. I don’t think I need to say much on this, but just the way they respect each other and support each other is so sweet and soft for two boys that are used to violence.
My Non-canon OTP: Renee/ Allison. Give me my lesbian exy players. Give me Renee and Allison holding each other up after brutal matches and kissing each others bruises.
Most Badass Character: Andrew or Renee. They have both been through so much and are strong in different ways. But both would fight till bloody for those under their protection.
Most Epic Villain: Ichirou. That man was only in a handful of scenes but gave me chills. Plus he wasn’t whiny or ranting. He was cool and calm and scary.
Pairing I am not a fan of: Aaron/Kevin. Just no thanks.
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Maybe Seth. Or Aaron. Seth because I just found him to be very one dimensional? I didn’t know enough to really feel enough for him, more I felt Allison's pain over him. Aaron because Nora could have shown the strain in the Twins relationship and theirs with Nicky without the homophobic comments? Like yeah, have him grumble about Nicky’s comments but there’s ways to do that without making him homophobic
Favourite Friendship: Neil and Matt. They’re just so pure together. And I love how Matt was introduced to this 5′3 jumpy kid and went ‘NEW BESTIE, MUST ADOPT’.
Character I most identify with: I identify with Andrew a lot because I suffer from insomnia and depression but also Kevin because of his driven nature, his interests and his panic attacks.
Character I wish I could be: Probably Renee. I wish I could have her outlook but also defense skills. I also want her style and hair

when I started shipping it if I did: a lil after dr3 ended and i fully got back in dr fandom after 3 years o(--(
my thoughts: always the first spot in my heart, i always rant about them in twt and i don’t think i can ever fully convey what i feel about them but they’re the most canon ship i’ve ever had and it gave me fulfillment ha ha ;;;
What makes me happy about them: all of their interactions are significant and sheds light on each of their development, komaeda continues to push hinata forward even after his death and meanwhile hinata destroyed komaeda’s toxic worldview and mind you, didn’t give the hope to komaeda but made komaeda realize the hope is within himself and overall their rship conveys such a strong message. komaeda may not be the one who made the final act to make hinata move on and face their future but he’s the one hinata’s with in that future
What makes me sad about them: facing the other is like facing oneself and their flaws which makes this ship really complicated because they argue a lot even if that’s the process to becoming better people where komaeda’s pushed to stop accepting what comes to him and learn to change himself while hinata needed acceptance within himself, but because komaeda offed himself their rship ended rocky like a broken wild rollercoaster and it was thrown over and we’ve seen how much komaeda’s death affected hinata because hinata only thought that he wouldn’t see komaeda anymore after the killing game over not because he died, what makes me sad is this complex exploration will always be limited in the fandom bc people will see it as abusive or unhealthy or for yaoizz sake from either haters or fans, it’s sometimes sad to be in this fandom and see all misinterpretations and hate all around but ha ha #justfandomthings

Character I first fell in love with:
Sam Winchester. From the very first episode I saw a giant boy who is actually a giant teddy bear. He was trying to escape the toxic supernatural world and was actually accepted in college for a Law degree (that’s big), but because the Winchester lineage is doomed, so is Sammy. And it makes me mad sometimes.
Kind, smart yet brave, goes literally and constantly through hell and back. I’m really fond of Sam.
Character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Dean fucking Winchester! I really did not expect to feel so much for this man! In the first seasons he comes off as a cold blooded, cocky douche, but then as the show starts to rise we get to see that he’s just a freakin’ cinnamon roll in need of the hugs and kisses John absolutely failed to give his boys.
This guy goes through so much shit, it makes me tear up sometimes when I think hard about the show. Like what the fuck did Dean do to deserve all that’s happened and keeps happening to him? Oh right he’s a Winchester He gives his life and his soul for his little brother without a spare thought and he cares for others even as he tries to hide it all behind a wall.
Dean Winchester is a damn role model and anyone who disagrees will have to deal with my 5 feet OF PURE RAGE.
Character everyone loves but I don’t:
Sadly I’m not that deep in the fandom to know which characters are most loved and which characters are most hated. But everyone seems to hold a special place in their heart for Gabriel, and to me he’s just ‘meh’. He’s not very trustworthy, nor does he play that big a role (we already have Cas as the angel of the clique) but he sure is entertaining.
I also never had any particular love for Lisa Braeden? She was just… there.
But I can’t say this for sure! (I need to watch the rest of the show god damnit) Overall I don’t think you can hate any character in Supernatural, it’s bizarre. Not even the big bad Lucifer.
Character I love but everyone else hates:
Again, not that deep in the fandom, but I’ve seen some fans who aren’t too keen on Sam? Maybe because he’s been seen as the cliche good doer who would rather not kill, but I think that’s what makes him a great character, so I really don’t get it.
Maybe that changed or maybe there are actual characters out there that the fandom despises (I heard Mary Winchester?) but I dooon’t knooow hahaha
Character I used to love but don’t any longer:
Haven’t seen enough of the show to develop this particular experience, but I did like Ruby. I wasn’t sure whether she was playing Sam or not. I was hoping not, but then she was. So I hated her right then and there.
She died right after anyway, so no leftover grudges.
Unless she’s back. Please don’t tell me she came back.
Character I would kiss:
Lmao all of them? They all deserve some goddamn love that’s for sure, but Dean and Sam definitely come first. I feel a lot for Castiel too, I’d hug the shit outta him. Dude’s relatable af.
Character I want to slap:
Also Dean and Sam, because fuck, those boys do some stupid shit without a single regard for their own safety. I just wanna yell at them sometimes.
Also all of the angels (except Cas), that’s a sure thing. Who knew angels were dicks. And probably John Winchester, too. He didn’t do parenting right. Even if he tried, he tried wrong.
A pairing I love:
DESTIEL. I can safely say Destiel is on the top 3 of my OTPs. And just… I’m trying to find words to express just how much I love this ship, and I’m having a really hard time because these two are fucking awesome together.
Dean and Cas… the angel that plucked the tormented human soul from Hell, and went on to forge a connection with him. That is just the beginning of their bumpy relationship, and it’s already captivating. These two immediately andinexplicably click from the moment they meet.
Dean blindly put his trust in Cas, lays his life on the line for Cas, follows Cas wherever he goes (he went after him to Purgatory for fuck’s sake). Cas has defied holy orders for Dean, grounds Dean in a way only Sam can, tries to save Dean no matter the circumstances.
Their budding chemistry is undeniable - ‘opposites attract’ applies here. Good (Cas) and bad (somehow Dean), light and dark, introverted and extroverted, quiet and loud, ice and fire. And as of now, angel and demon. Literally. Even their appearances counter each other’s! Dean’s blond hair is to Cas’ dark hair, as Cas’ blue eyes are to Dean’s green eyes. God I love everything about this ship.
Destiel is not a power couple. Destiel is the power couple. ❤
A pairing I hate:
I really hate to bash on ships ‘cause in my opinion it’s really disrespectful. But I guess I don’t see the appeal of Calthazar. I feel that maybe there’s a deep brotherly bond between them, but that’s as far as it goes.
Or maybe I refuse to ship either Cas or Dean with anyone but each other, haaaa

GIVE ME A CHARACTER;
and I’ll break their ass down:
How I feel about this character- HOO BOY. How I feel about Cassian Andor? I have SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT CASSIAN, OKAY? I think he’s such a cool concept: life-long rebel? spy? been in this fight since he was six years old? wearing thin at the edges? YES, YES, YES. He’s like Leia, but dirty and in the trenches. He’s got all the world-weariness of Han Solo. He’s got that driving hope that there has to be something good left in things, like Luke. I absolutely love that despite being evidently in charge, Cassian understands the people he’s with well enough not to over-shadow them, and never feels the need to really assert himself over them - with maybe the exception of Jyn on Eadu but like…he was also on his way to shoot her father so like, there’s some layers there. In short, I think Cassian is a man who is written counter to the toxic masculinity we see in a lot of action films and that makes him so goddamn refreshing. Of course, Diego Luna also portrayed him in such an endearing way, and Alexander Freed really sold a lot of Cassian’s motives in the book and I just. I’m a fan, okay? A big fan. Huge.
All the people I ship romantically with this character- Jyn Erso. I don’t know that I could really ship Cassian with anyone else because I just have such strong feelings about them together??? From the moment Jyn rescues that little girl on Jedha, Cassian is sucked into her orbit and there’s no going back. I’ll admit that without a fix-it ending, it’s not necessarily love - because there’s just not time. But if they’d lived, those two were going to be a ship and you can’t tell me otherwise. I won’t listen. Alexander Freed agrees with me, okay, it’s canon.
My non-romantic OTP for this character- First, K-2SO. Look, they’re obviously bros. You don’t just offer to wipe your memory data for the sake of someone’s dignity if he’s not your bro, okay? They’re ride-or-die. K-2SO’s last fucking thoughts were basically that although he could live in several scenarios it would require leaving his BFF to die and hell to the no that wasn’t happening. On the other side, Cassian had the most heartbreaking response to Kaytoo’s goodbye and I really can’t think about it for too long.- Next, Bodhi Rook. It’s mostly my own headcanons, but like. Cassian is the first person to just undoubtedly trust in what Bodhi says post-Bor Gullet and like, that just seems like it’d be really important? Bodhi loses everything: his home, his ability to define reality, his JOB, like…everything. And here’s Cassian Andor just like “of course you know how to navigate Eadu, of course you know where Galen is, of course you can get us onto Scarif” like…how good was that for Bodhi’s self-awareness? I feel like he’d be so ride-or-die for Cassian after that, and in return Cassian is so mindful of that little family he’s collected and yeah…I have strong feelings about it.
My unpopular opinion about this character- Okay, so. I love a good Modern AU but I physically recoil whenever I see Cassian working for the police in them. Like, I just…there’s so much complexity to the role of policing forces in the US and their relationship with minorities. Especially now. Especially with the Latinx communities and the Black communities, and I just have a hard time seeing Cassian (as either a Rebel Intelligence officer in canon, or a Mexican national in AUs) working with a questionable force like the police. Like, I know it’s the most obvious line you can draw from one narrative to the other but it’s hardly an equal comparison and…I have a lot of feelings about it. There’s one fic (The World Through a Scope) where he’s a DEA agent with a lot of heavy and complex feelings about his job and that one…doesn’t rub me as raw - and in fact it’s one of my favorite modern AUs. (But also Mexico and the drug trade is also a really complex subject and that’s a lot to try to navigate and god bless GuineaPiggie for tackling it.) IDK I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THIS.- For my second unpopular opinion…this is a trope that I enjoy, but God it just feels so out of character. Jealous!Cassian. Like what Jyn and Cassian have going is really magnetic and hard to deny, first of all. But even if it wasn’t - even if Jyn wanted to be with Han Solo, or whatever, Cassian doesn’t strike me as being the “punish you because I’m jealous” sort. Strong emotions get spies killed - and we see him break in the film at times, but like. They’re obvious breaks when he’s under a lot of strain? Jyn, and the rest of us, probably wouldn’t notice even if he was jealous? Which is a really machismo element in storytelling anyway, and if you see my above Cassian feelings I just don’t see him fitting that role. He’s not Han Solo, guys. He’s just not.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.- I really, really, really want to see more about Cassian’s time as Fulcrum? I’m hoping I get a surprise with him in Rebels (unlikely as that is), or that K-2SO and his comic series will show more of that. Of all the Rogue One characters, Cassian has the most potential for fitting into the greater narrative of the ‘verse but he’s the one without a book, and I have to think that’s deliberate? Maybe we’ll see him in other things. PUT HIM IN THE HAN SOLO MOVIE, DISNEY. PLS GOD LET ME HAVE MORE DIEGO-AS-CASSIAN.

Here it is! This is my big dumb 'thank-you' post that I've been meaning to write. So if you weren't aware, I've actually closed this blog (aside from some random posts about Logan and a Batman Podcast - you should listen to it) due to some major, major problems with the DC fandom that I find toxic and quite frankly disgusting. But das stuff that sadly I can't change so I'm doing what's best for me and getting my ass outta here before my love for Batman is forever ruined by blind and immature fanboys.
i started writing bryce around about 2015. My first blog was called surgitisms but I changed it because someone made some burnbook callout about me copying someones url (I had no idea that blog existed rofl - surgit is latin for 'rise'). I then moved to rageinyourbones (shoutouts to joseph gordon levitt) where i spent most of my time, developing this character that wasn't even my idea - it was just a passing remark from a lovely actress by the name of Natalie Dormer. now as you're aware (and as i continually apologize for) i fucked up on that blog, and i've done my best to reach out and make amends with the people i offended (and they were super gracious and accepted my apology). but that negative bollocks aside, i grew up so much on that blog. i learned some amazing things about myself, i learned some bad things about myself, and most importantly i created a character that i personally believe is different to bruce wayne. i ended up headcannoning late at night, thinking about how she would act differently to bruce, about how she would interact with certain characters etc etc etc.
but what really made all the difference was the people i met.
you guys are fucking amazing. i mean lets be real - the tumblr rp community can be fucked sometimes. we've all seen it, but what i love is that we tend to (80% of the time) treat each other as real human beings and see that what we're really here for is just the love of these dumb fictional characters. they give us a break from the savagery of life and its endless woes. i am so, so so grateful and so so so blessed to have known the people i have on here. people whom i met on rageinyourbones and followed me across to here, and people whom i met here. holy bollocks im rambling - im just gonna tag some specific people who really really made my life on here so enjoyable. the rest i'll just lump into one big post because i'm lazy like that.
@fracturedportrait - harmony. i remember meeting you the first time. i remember it so clearly. you were so chill, so spunky (god i feel old using that word), and you had such a passion for your oc. i remember the first plot we had, the inspiration we shared... who knew that it was the beginning of my greatest friendship and my #1 OTP for bryce. you were the first person whom i ever actually spoke to off tumblr (remember when i called you?? and you heard my dumb aussie accent??). i remember legitimately getting teary over memes, i remember smiling so much during our threads, i remember (and still do) laugh about us talking about how our sin is like a lovely vintage of wine. your writing consistently, unimaginably, pushes and has pushed me to better mine. with every post you made, you helped improve my writing. you are such a blessing to me and i am not going to just let this stay as some dumb tumblr friendship. we'll face time, and i'll be sure to credit you when i'm on the red carpet with natalie dormer being like 'so what made you want to write this film about a female batman?'. i'll just be like 'yo there was this really cool chick who wrote a vampire and she told me to just write this film'.
@halysborn - SWAN. ho man. do you remember when i wrote that giant meta about how dick literally changed not just bryce's life, but bruce's? i firmly believe that dick is the most important character in bruce's life. and i mean i'm talking on the same level as alfred - even more. he's the TRUE son. the son whom saved him. like i just cry about how bruce says that line - 'sometimes i think i've never done any good in my life. then i look at dick and realize i'm wrong' or whatever that actual phrase is. i PHYSICALLY VOM WHEN PEOPLE SHIP THEM. but yo that's other stuff. what's important is that you have supported me selflessly and without strings. you've supported me here, you've supported me over on deshibcsara, you've just been a consistent rock, an unyielding foundation of encouragement. i still, and will NEVER delete that voice recording where you talk about me and my love for batman. it gives me such hope and reminds me that, yeah i fuck up, but i've at least affected someone else's life and how they see batman. my only regret is that i was so goddamn slow with replying to our stuff. and that was literally because i felt like you deserved nothing but my absolute best. you are incredible, and from one aussie to another, i love you brocookie!

I FUCKING LOVE IT. my mum literally asked me the other night 'who is -insert your real name-?' and i was like 'oh thats my wife' and she was like '???' and i just said 'dont even BOTHER trying to understand'. you have been nothing but optimistic about me. you consistently, relentlessly see the good in me. i dont think there's ever been a time where like i've felt wronged by you? or at the very least felt like i was a burden to you? you never fail to spread positivity. even when you were feeling like shit and i tried to cheer you up, it's like you turned it on me and were like 'nah gus you're not cheering me up IM CHEERING YOU UP - thats how it works'. im so fucking whipped by you, because you're just such a blessing to my life. the day we shared FB's was like the day i realized 'WELP IM IN THIS MARRIAGE FOR LIFE NOW'. when it comes to your writing - i'm just breathless. the tumblr rp fandom does not deserve you. keep doing your thing man - don't ever let douchebag anons change that.
@marblebelow - I SINCERELY HOPE YOU STILL HAVE THE RECORDING OF ME SINGING 'THE CONFRONTATION'. especially with the 'DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUUN'. that shit is lit. yo but mikel really. the days of us writing together - writing fisk/bryce and then writing jim/bryce... i value it so much. you've taught me to pursue every little nuance in bryce's character. and i mean that - you ask me tiny little questions, and holy crap i end up going into a massive internal investigation. and worst of all (or best??) you jsut lavish me with genuine, kind words. i regret that we didnt get to write much more (both of us having major stress/overwhelmed issues), but dude, like, never stop being you - you have such overwhelming, unimaginable depths of creativity. even if you don't realize it, or feel like you don't, believe me - you do. it sounds like -- errr.... arrogant? but ive spent the last six years studying writing/fiction/film and just immersing myself in it so i feel like i have SOME credibility - you really really do have a gift.
@ivyworn - 'yes hello i'd like to report a murder? the victim is ME' aka this is what happens whenever we talk. so we never actually got to do much writing, but honestly? i literally feel like we did writing in the SPIRIT with all of our tumblr IMs and just the amount of shit talking we did. PUMA. LEST WE FORGET. PUMA. no but real talk, i was supposed to send you a birthday gift aka im still gonna get my ass onto paypal and do that SO DONT YOU LEAVE YOUR BLOG. AND YOU CANNOT SAY NO. i've never met anyone whom has such an in-depth love and understanding for ivy. i remember chatting about Cast Shadows with you and the level of complexitity between Batman and Ivy. i mentioned this but Batman/Ivy is literally my OTP for Bruce. i just think it is such an interesting avenue that no writer (post Cast Shadows) has explored. whenever we spoke, i had such a smile on my face, i cannot even begin to desribe it. i really really hope life goes well for you and treats you with the care and respect you DESERVE.
@psyclownsis @scarestress tags both blogs bc i have no idea where you are these days. so i already recorded that voice meme thing talking about you piri - but i literally just want to further express my admiration and gratitude for you. you've stuck by me, you've pulled me aside and been like 'oi gus you're being a douche stop it', and you've just supported me and taken such an interest in this dumb character i write that literally just blows me away. the fact that we barely write but i still feel so close to you and so valued by you is just a testament to the power of tumblr rp friendships. we don't NEED to write together to be friends and to respect and admire each other. AND LORD KNOWS i admire you. i admire your dedication, i admire your 'idgaf' attitude. and honestly i just admire your unrelenting loyalty to people.
