"Only a nibble?" He had no intention of honoring that. After all, Vampires weren't know to just 'nibble.' It was usually a full bite or nothing at all to get blood. Nibbling was usually soft grazes from their teeth without the intention to bite. It seemed like she wasn't taking him seriously, like usual. Time to show he how serious he was.
So he took her wrist and bit down. His venom worked quickly to numb her wrist and he took a few large gulps. Then he pulled away and licked her wrist to seal the puncture wounds, with a few drops of blood rolling down his chin and leaving a trail. He reached up and wiped it off with his sleeve.

Leo found that his teeth were chattering. Not much, only lightly, but still. Was he cold? He didn’t think he felt cold, not exactly. Ritsu’s arms around him were warm and he buried his face up against him further, a shiver rippling through him. He felt like he was being stupid. The logical part of him knew that he wasn’t though, knew why he reacted like this physically, but logic and reason never were relatively strong voices in Leo’s brain to begin with.
“She would have done the same for me! …That’s stupid, she’s a cat. I know that, but… I’m just glad she’s safe. She got to live and she got to have her kittens and…” And if he still had flareups in his arms and ugly scars and decreased mobility in a couple of fingers, that was a price he willingly paid. He most certainly didn’t blame her for what happened. But he didn’t think he needed to specify that for Ritsu.
“They… Mama… I mean, M-madara… He found me. He brought me to the hospital… Both my arms were broken, you know? And all cut up and…” And. What he didn’t say, what he didn’t need to say. “Anyway, he… He said he took ‘care’ of those guys. And when Mama says that, you… You don’t ask. You just don’t.” It sure freaked Leo out at times, but still. He trusted Madara with his life.
“That said… Had they still been here, I’m sure Tenshi would have purged them. They’d be long gone.” Eichi was effective like that. Of course, some bad eggs still remained, Ritsu knew that; but Leo (thought that he) could handle them. He wasn’t about to run to Eichi with his tail between his legs and ask for help. He trusted Eichi to join Knight Killers, but he didn’t trust him. No way. Not after last year.

"It's not stupid, animals are very smart. There are videos of cats and dogs protecting their owners, so it's not wrong to think she might do the same for you, if she was able," he said. But there was no way she could have taken on multiple boys, even if she wanted to protect Leo. Especially since they had been picking on her in the first place.
Something pricked in his heart uncomfortably when Leo said Madara took care of them. Ritsu wished he could have been the one to do something about them instead. But he wasn't there, didn't know it had happened. Too wrapped up in his own problems back then. Still, he should be grateful that Madara had found him and had brought him to the hospital. That he took care of the guys who hurt Leo this way. He just wish it could have been him instead.
"Yea, they would be," he said. Not all the bullies were gone. Ritsu was still in Yumenosaki after all, though his bullying was done mostly out of love. And Eichi was also still in the school, some would consider him to be a bully as well. The insignificant ones were mostly gone at least.

For Elyon just having friends was being lucky, as far as she was aware the number of friends she had back in her old school amounted to one. And now said friend wasn’t in the best of health either.
“ When hasn’t it been scary ? People are never what they seem, or rarely are.” Elyon comments distantly with a shrug, often she prefered to walk alone than with people she couldn’t determine wether they were trully friendly or lying. “ Ah? that won’t happen often then, i need to leave quickly to go to work quite regularily .” she declined politely. “ But still, i greatly appreciate your offer, Isara-san.”
She nodded as a thanks when Ritsu said he didn’t mind her. Although given the way he clung to Mao Elyon suspected he may have prefered the two of them to be alone. The smaller blonde just shook her head with a light snort when Ritsu refered to Mao and her as children.
The girl was soon following them however, as much as she wasn’t one for company usually, the darkness was far from comforting to her so she’d rather not get too far from the boys. “ And here i thought elders tended to go to bed at the same time as children.” Elyon quipped jokingly.

"Hm, I guess that's true. But it seemed to be safer back in the day, but not recently. And it doesn't have to be often, just any time you are at school late. I don't mind helping you," he said. He'd rather walk her home than hear something bad happening to her. He felt that way about any of his classmates really.
"Usually they would, but I am a vampire. Our time to shine is at night," Ritsu replied to her, looking at her and baring his fangs playfully. Mao rolled his eyes, but he was smiling. He was use to this from Ritsu and his older brother, they both pretended to be vampires.
“You should sleep at the same time as we do. Then I wouldn’t have to come over and wake you up every morning,” he said. Though he felt like even if Ritsu did sleep at a normal time, Mao still would have to go and wake him up every morning.

"I don't know if flowers are my thing either honestly. I think they are pretty to look at but I wouldn't want to take care of them," he said. If he did want to take care of flowers, it would just be another thing for his dad to get mad about. Then let out a nervous laugh. "We do need those 'nerds'... Do you not like your fans?"
Saichi appreciated every one of Nightbringer's fans. Without them, he and Haoki couldn't do what they do. Being an idol was really fun after all.

Saichi tried not to flinch at Haru's words. He really tried. But he couldn't stop it and a pained look flickered across his expression for a moment. It reminded him of what his dad always said to him, to stop being so girly. Did Haru think the same way? That he was being to girly?
"Haha, yea who cares? Flowers are for girls," he said, trying to sound tough. But his voice came out shaky, showing he didn't really believe what he was saying.

“Um…” He thought for a moment, then shook his head. “Nah… It’s fine.” If he couldn’t talk with Ritsu, then who could he talk to? He put his notebook away and looked at Ritsu with a bleak smile on his lips.
“Well, uh, so… This one? It’s from last year.” He paused, worrying his lower lip for a moment. The memories, when called upon, were still too damn fresh. They shouldn’t be; months and months had passed, but simply thinking about them more or less put him back to that day. He hated that his brain immediately made leaps like that, but he couldn’t control it.
“So these guys tried to hurt Little John, yeah? So I tried to stop them. And she got away, so that’s the important part, right? But…”
A longer pause this time. “They, uh… They were really enjoying themselves, you know, Rittsu?”

Leo didn't need to say anymore. Ritsu got the implication. He scooted closer, rolling onto his side and pulling Leo into a hug. "I'm sorry that happened to you."
That didn't feel like enough, but what else could Ritsu say to that? It's not like he could change the fact it happened. All he could do was be there for Leo now, since he hadn't been there for him when it happened.
"That must be why Little John adores you so much. You helped her out when she needed it the most," he said. He could never understand people who would hurt animals, even if they didn't like them. Ritsu wasn't too fond of cats but he'd never hurt one.
He absentmindedly traced the scar again, as if he could make it disappear if he did. "Are they still in our school? They seemed to be the type who would have been purged when Ecchan took over."

It must be a lot of work though, I don't really know how much goes into taking care of flowers though," Saichi said. He'd be half afraid of accidentally killing the flowers if he tried taking care of them.

It was after school and Leo was over at Ritsu's house. They were sitting on his bed, watching a really cheesy vampire movie, Ritsu personally thought it was very dumb. But Leo had seemed entertained by some of the stuff going on so he let it play, choosing to scroll through social media instead. At point Leo shifted positions, so he was laying down with his head in Ritsu's lap and Ritsu began absent-mindedly playing with Leo's hair.
At one point he looked down at Leo to ask him something, but noticed he had falled asleep. A soft smile came to Ritsu's face when he saw that and decided to leave him be. Leo must need rest and Ritsu wasn't going to be the one to deprive him of that.
