To be completely honest, with how pale this man is and his insomnia, you would think you're just meeting a fellow vamp

He would be glad to have someone to hang out with and to keep him company while he's working late at night

All of your dates would be at night because he doesn't want the sun to hurt you

Would 1000% sacrifice himself if it means you get to eat

You've heard a lot of music in your lifetime so he values your opinion and counts on you being brutally honest

He knows you can eat regular food but will offer to let you drink his blood

Tries not to make you go out in the sun, but will make sure you're covered and protected like a mom getting their baby ready for a beach day

You didn't drink it so he wouldn't get into the habit of feeding you with his own blood (what a waste)

Will go to a butcher for you and ask for animal blood for you, gotta make sure his baby eats

He would be terrified

Would be paranoid around you for the first few months of you two knowing each other

Convinced you're raising him for slaughter or something

Walked around with Holy Water, a cross, and a wooden stake as a precaution

He let his guard down when he saw you trying to do your hair one day

You can only do so much without a mirror

He realized that you couldn't see yourself in the mirror so he offered to do a cute hairstyle for you

You reminded him that it wouldn't matter because you couldn't see yourself anyway

You tried not to bug him with asking him to draw you

SOOBIN

Listen he's so shy but he will do anything just to see you so he will visit your class for a moment just to greet you. The man will make sure he'll see you smile for the upcoming day because it motivates him to do better :((

The first thing you'll see after class is Soobin waiting for you by the room's door and he's not just standing there, he's holding a bunch of flowers or food that he's sure you like

He'll have this shy smile when you thank him and he'll just nod and carry your bag for you so you can eat properly

LISTEN— he won't just wait for you after class, he'll also walk you home because he wants you to be safe! He's so sweet I swear

And tbh you won't need to get his parents' approval if ever you decide to date him because you're already loved by his parents by how much he talks about you to them

Despite his shyness he will try to make it known that he's courting you and he wants to make an effort because if he did decide to just admire you from afar he won't be with you like this everyday

Soobin's part of the student council so sometimes he's not there with you all the time, but still you'll see tons of notifications from him just updating you and asking about your day :') he'll even call you and let you talk about anything

Because of his lack of experience, he tries to ask his friends for advice in how to woo you but tbh he doesn't need to because he already has your heart hehe just being himself is enough

YEONJUN

Oh mister popular here is courting you but because of his reputation it's kinda lowkey? And don't get him wrong cus he's only protecting you from those who wishes to see your downfall

If people aren't so mean he'd yell out your name and tell everyone how much he likes you, but unfortunately you're not safe to those people who are jealous of you

But don't worry about his ways of courting being lowkey because he'll still show how he likes you through subtle matching things

May it be bracelets, necklaces, or shoes even because he wants to match with you and every time he sees you wear them it makes his heart melt :'D

There's also a reason why he wants to keep it low for a bit because he feels like you're still uncomfortable, also because he's quite an outgoing person and will tell everyone proudly that you're his (soon to be) partner

The rare times you're not in the same class, he'll walk past your classroom and look through the window and wave at you so make sure to look at the door's little window cus Beomgyu's there to see you <3

Listen again— LISTEN!! He'll say he's not worried but dude will wait for you at your house's front gate so you can go to school together and you're wondering if your mom knows him

And she definitely knows him cus everytime you go home by yourself and Beomgyu's not with you she asks you where he is :(( she assumes he's your bf aAAAAA and you say not yet (HE HAS A CHANCEEEEE)

He's a star athlete and part of the top students in your uni and you're wondering what made him like you so much to the point he's courting you???? But like dude's so head over heels

Fear not because his whole family knows you already and they already gave their approval cus of how much he talks about you to them like he literally won't shut up!!

But tbh he's not from your class and the moment he knew who your homeroom professor was, he always offered to help him with his things and he gets to visit your classroom just to get a glimpse of you

He heard you like plushies??? OH he has a ton he'll give a gift for you and tell you all about the ones he has and even lets you keep some of his and aASJNDSJ some of them smells like him bro?? It's so comforting :((

Dude will send you tons— I mean tons of memes as a form of a conversation starter, he doesn't know what to talk about so he always makes up an excuse to talk to you and even irl even if he doesn't have the same major he'll find a reason to study with you 😭

incoming sandray fight analysis 3 days late, but ray and his attachment issues will never leave my mind

i think i missed a big part of the subtext of this scene initially that seeing some other meta analysis helped me see. ray and sand supposedly don’t speak after sands birthday (it seems like ray tried multiple times to reach out but was ignored), and when sand finally does ask to talk to him again it’s not what ray thinks. ray thought they would talk about eachother, who they are to eachother, what they want, etc. or at the very least go back to their old friendly ways, but instead sand is bringing up mew, bringing up ray being in love with mew, how close ray and mew are, and the duty ray has to mew as his friend (this is already a loaded concept for ray seeing as he finds the need to pay mew back for saving him, and i don’t think that will ever go away even with time).

after receiving the thatcar.mp3 file ray confronts boston, because boston can be cruel to ray to his face all he wants but he won't let boston be a bad friend to mew, except boston says ray would be just as bad as him if he tells mew the truth, but according to sand he'd be fulfilling his duty as ray's friend by revealing the truth, so he is conflicted and confused about his own feelings .

then at mew's birthday party he spends the night as an outsider to his own friend group. when he reveals the audio clip to mew he's probably expecting mew to be thankful, like sand said he would be, or hate him, like boston said, but from what we see mew doesn't have much of a reaction at all. ray couldn't predict how his friend would react to the information, and now he can't understand the reaction, but he still thinks he did the right thing and doesn't understand why no one else around him can see that. he is still confused, and he is still emotionally isolated.

he fully self implodes. he has spent this whole episode as an emotional outsider, and other people have been using his emotions and impulsive emotional responses for their benefit before he himself has the oppurtunity to try to understand how he is feeling. he is filled with rage and self loathing and world shattering loneliness (feeling alone in a crowd, especially the one that is supposed to offer you love and support, is enough to make anyone lose their mind) and he lashes out at everyone and all of things they do that he doesn't understand and that he finds shitty. he even does the thing that has conflicting morality because he feels that regardless of whether it makes him a good friend or a villain he at least owes it to mew for saving him, and mew not only rejects this act, but the person who has offered him the most care and kindness punches him in the face.

ray and his self fulfilling prophecy man, he is a burden, he is bad luck, nobody loves him, and so he is taking everyone down so their weight will make his own fall be that much more painful. and then he storms off.

now to this part of the fight in particular because i also can't stop thinking about it

"stop thinking about mew and focus on me for once"

i interperet this as sand saying "stop focusing on all the love you haven't/can't receive and focus on what i'm willing to give you in the present". except ray wanted to focus on sand, and sand only spoke to him about mew, the unrequited love ray has, and the emotional debt ray owes. sand turned away from him and then pushed him away.

"can't you really see that i care about you?"

now i'm not good at reading faces so i don't know what this facial expression means but it isn't happy/relieved. even if ray had the ability to accept sand cares about him, in this moment he feels entirely alone. in fact, this only makes him more confused, he wanted sand who pushed him to mew who has also rejected him once again. he definitely thought sand cared about him before this, but i think ray believes no one could possibly care about him right now (i also think that he is tired of wanting someone to care for him, of hoping someday someone will love him, and so he pushes everyone away so at least he can have some certainty)

"why would you poke your nose in my buisness?"

why would you come into my life just to push me away? why would you involve me in someone else's problems only for me to fuck it up the way i fuck everything up? why would you reopen the wound that is my attachment to mew? why would you keep following me if all i'll ever be is a burden? why would you say you care about me when i am unable to feel cared for? why did you have to ruin the good thing we had going before you turned away from me that night?

"what are we to eachother?"

i think ray asked this question partly out of anger and partly out of being desperate for a genuine answer. but sand says they are nothing to eachother. ray probably thought sand thought this of him, but was hoping for a different answer, now he has his certainty (also its the self fulfilling prophecy again, ray physically pushes sand away while demanding sand to define their emotional connection)

now lets look at when they start getting physical

[side note, ray starts to turn to get in the car when sand says "you can risk your own life all you want" in case you weren't destroyed by that fact yet]

ray has spent the whole night feeling alone and then ruining his relationships with others, he doesn't believe anyone can or should care for him, so he makes it true (how many times can you say self fulfilling prophecy in a ray analysis post anyway?!?!?) sand is trying to stop ray from himself but the urge to destroy has been ignited and it can't be turned off, so he has to stop sand in return.

i have been kept up at night thinking about how desperate ray sounds while trying to breathe, how desperate he is for space, to be free to destroy himself, for it to be over. he call sand a whore, which everyone and their mother knows isn't true, and at first i thought it was because he needed a reason for sand to despise him but i think it's just as likely ray was just lashing out and wanted something to hurt sand with. after he pushes sand to the ground, he doesn't look proud by what he's done, but he can't stop himself now. and so he drives off alone

i've seen many different thoughts as to where he was going. but whether he was just going home, or drove off knowing it wouldn't end well, he needed to put a stop to this.

i don't even remember what the point of this anaylisis was anymore at somepoint i lost the plot... anway excited (also tormented by impending sandray scenes) to see what next week brings

Dead Friend Forever ep 1

I finally got sucked into watching. And since there's so much speculation around the characters and their actions/motives I thought I'd document my observations as I go. (small comments in brackets are things I've gone back to after the ep ended)

Who did the axe man hit for the guy on his own (Non, right?) to get splashed with blood, because the guy with him (Jin, right?) had already run off, unless it was his own blood from a wound lower down on this body... (So I'm guessing this is the original film that they made with Non years ago...no, wait, if Non was the 'killer' in the mask in the film then why is he running away from another masked person with Jin here? Is this also the film or is this their real experience. Oh ho hooo the mystery thickens...what's real and what's played out for the 'camera' [including for us]?...).

Also, I can't believed I'm watching this 🙈

I think the only way I'll get through the scary gore bits is to analyse their believability.

Ok, let's go! I like the opening credits music.

It's a good job it's difficult for me to figure out all their names because the things I've seen/read about the show so far mean nothing or very little.

The first believable thing! - no phone signal and no wifi in the middle of nowhere. I used to experience the same thing in the Swedish countryside.

Ok, I see those looks between Fluke and green-shirt-big-money guy...what secret do they have about what's on that external drive... And embroidered shirt guy doesn't know...or does he and he's a good liar?

EVERYONE IS JUST SO SUS.

So green shirt guy, Fluke, Jin, and embroidered shirt guy (Top!) were in this movie? And Non was the 'killer'. And Phee pretends he doesn't know who Non is even though I've seen that he and Non knew-knew each other... The two who don't know Non (for realsies?) is brown jacket guy (White?) and the guy sat opposite Jin.

Wow green shirt guy was quick to jump in to say he had a camera in the house to remake the film - that Phee suggested. SO SUS. Jin and tall guy (Tee!) did NOT like that.

"I don't want him [White] to get involved in what we have done" - What HAVE you done Tee? 👀

Also I love that all this is happening with White in a "Sexy Summer Time" t-shirt on 😂

An asthmatic who smokes 🤦🏽‍♀️ Yeah, he's definitely not going to find his inhaler when he needs it. (Is that Tan?).

Oh what if White isn't the innocent cherub he's made out to be? What if he's manipulating this to get revenge for Non? I've seen people say they want him to be the last girl standing (or whatever the phrase is) but what if he's orchestrating all this?

Whyyyyyy did green shirt guy (Por!) leave the house and go into the woods???

So, interestingly, Tee and Fluke instigated the search for Por, then Phee doled out instructions once they found him... Hmmmm...SUS

Por seems alive and conscious, why is no one asking how it happened? Also, even in his second year, Fluke should know to stay calm so as not to panic the patient more...

Who keeps jump cables in the house and not either in the car or in a garage/outbuilding, especially somewhere like that??!?

Again, they're in a house in the woods. Surely there would be a saw in some kind of garage/workshop? Why are they looking in a kitchen for a knife to cut a tree branch?? WHY IS THE SAW IN THE KITCHEN UNDER THE SINK?! 😂

It's incheresting that White concludes it's an attempted murder 👀 Thus sowing the seed in everyone else's mind...

BOYS, proving that there's a ninth person is NOT the priority here. Getting Por to a hospital is. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Also incheresting are the deleted scenes 👀 HOW COULD POR GO INTO THE WOODS ALONE ESPECIALLY AFTER HE COUNTED NINE PEOPLE?! Also, Tan was not part of the failed re-staging of the film...SUS.

Alright. I'm hooked on the mystery. I should make clear that I in NO WAY want any answers that will spoil the mystery for later in the series. Please and thank you! 🙏🏽 I'm just laying down some thoughts to come back to once more info gets revealed. Comments that don't spoil anything are absolutely welcome though! 😁

i've seen you answer a few questions about tvd so i thought i might ask, what are your thoughts on the main love triangle? and klaus/stefan?

As a caveat: I did not watch much further than the first few episodes of season 4, in fact I ragequit when one of the writers revealed we wouldn't be seeing Elijah on screen again until 4x20 at which point I thought, "Well I simply won't watch until 4x20 then".

And then 4x20 was a backdoor pilot to the spinoff The Originals and I simply watched that show instead.

All this to say, I was 100% a gung ho Vampire Diaries fan and you can tell by how closely I was following it, sadly the only TVD I know of would be the first three seasons. Same actually goes for The Originals, as I for reasons I don't remember wasn't able to access episodes post-season 3 so I wound up not knowing what happens after Hayley drives off with the entire family hibernating in her truck either.

Another disclaimer: it's been more than ten years since I watched this show and my memory may fail me at times.

With that:

The main love triangle

Having only seen the first three seasons, I think that Damon wishes quite badly he was a different man, and he is unable to take responsibility for his life and relationships being what they are. He would rather blame his failings on Stefan, and, whenever Stefan fails or falls short in some ways, it's immensely validating to Damon because who's the bad brother now?

His love for Katherine is not only about Katherine, but about being chosen by someone over Stefan. Because, as Damon will try to tell himself, just because she was sleeping with both of them and decided to turn them both, doesn't mean she didn't prefer Damon (after all, she had to compell Stefan, while Damon slept with her willingly. Victory for Damon!), and also- look, don't question Damon on this. It's fine and he's a well adjusted man, and once he has rescued his lady love from her tomb she'll tell him how much better he is than Stefan.

Enter Elena, who looks exactly like Katherine, is living in Mystic Falls just the same as Katherine, and who has drawn Stefan's interest.

Damon, eternally pulling Stefan's pigtails and being a goddamn creep, starts creeping on Elena, this does not work. Instead, however, he learns that Katherine faked her entombment, and has in fact been living her best life for the past 150 years. Worse, Damon and Stefan were never more than boytoys to her.

Cut to Elena, who is just as beautiful (in a very literal sense of the term), only she is kind, genuinely loves Stefan, the polar opposite of Katherine in every way.

Damon transfers his emotions from Doppelganger B to Doppelganger C.

Stefan, meanwhile, seems to... fall in with Elena, for lack of a better way to put it. They meet, he is confused about the resemblance to Katherine for long enough to get to know her, by which time he's into it, and Elena sees a very handsome and pleasant man who is easy to fall for.

The trouble with Stefan is I don't really have a grip on his character, he is... there, for three seasons, and he has his character moments and his speeches, I can tell you things about his personality except I can't.

He is one of those people you can know for years but never actually know who, having killed his father and become the Ripper for so many years, seems to be that he is running away from himself. That is the only way I can interpret his strange nothingness, as well as bizarre decisions like coming to live with his nephew Zach and attend high school.

I think Stefan wants to surround himself with people, form relationships with them, and through that find a sense of identity that he can enjoy. Which is where loving Elena comes in, as she is kind, generous, mature, vulnerable, and fun- the type of person you can lose yourself in, and have those simple moments of happiness Florence Welch sings about.

In other words, while my real ship here is Elejah, Stelena trumps Delena any day.

Klaus and Stefan

Klaus is a deeply sad person who is only interested in dating two people, and they are his sister Rebekah and his brother Elijah. At the time he met Stefan Elijah wasn't around, so Stefan became replacement Elijah.

(The proof of the Elijah projection lies in the fact that Klaus was fine with Stefan sleeping with Rebekah. He is historically not fine with outsiders doing this, you have to be family for Klaus to accept these things.)

"Look, Elijah," Klaus would imagine himself saying to Elijah, "I have a new brother now and he is hotter, cooler, and not a total bore like you! Stefan loves me more anyway," and then Elijah would sit and cry and give Klaus so much attention and it would be great.

As for Stefan, I think he just liked partying.

They probably did fuck, but Klaus is too embarrassing for Stefan to ever admit as much.

Theory of Love Rewatch Ep 10 Stray Thoughts

Last time, Khai began his long recovery from his motorcycle crash. Charlie is destroyed and in the shop, and Khai has severe injuries. He refused Third's help because he's as embarrassed at first and his wounds weren't healing. Eventually, Third needed to step in and help him. The gangstas also broke into Third's messages to see how close he was with Un, which was not cool. Meanwhile, Two is sorta dating Lynn even if he's also jealous of Un hanging out with other people or being interested in Third. Bone is trying to be brave about his crush on Paan. We left at Khai punching Un out at a party and confessing his feelings for Third, and I know they better apologize to Un or I'm gonna need to see another ass whooping.

These dudes always start beef with Un. He has had any number of reasons to be rude to them and instead he helps them, tutors, them, drives them to hospitals, and provides opportunities for them. Now he's being punched out at a party and being yelled at because he kissed a girl while Khai is jealous. Like, we can talk about how Khai's reputation as a womanizer informed how people treated him, but GODDAMN why do they treat Un like this??

I'm feeling especially salty about Khai wailing on Un because of the discourse this year about male anger.

No one apologized to Un or asked if he was okay before the credits? We just applaud Khai saying how he feels about Third and disperse? I'm gonna need all y'all to line up so I can whip all y'all asses.

Ep.10 Begin Again

Un is better than me. I would not be this chill.

"I don't want to hurt anymore." I'm back on my Third bullshit!! Do not let your guard down, Third! You know this man plays games!

Khai is giving "But I'm here now" energy that is personally upsetting for me. It's not his fault he didn't know that Third was carrying a flame for him for years, but he is responsible for how callously he treated Third. He's used to playing up his neediness and Third responding to it, but that era is over.

Why is he so mean? Look, y'all, Third has always been a little mean. He's mean to girls who hit on him, and he's kinda mean to y'all for always being annoyed when y'all go out.

It's notable how not-cute Third is most of the time. He's extremely prickly and doesn't say thanks that much to people he's close to.

I tell you. The rituals around peeling shrimp was one of the first things I picked up on as specific to Thai courtship gestures.

I don't mind them using the group chat as a distancing mechanism to tease and encourage their homies. Seeing it written down and being able to look back at it later can be encouraging.

That's right, Third. Don't give it up after one date.

I feel like we were unnecessarily harsh about this kiss in 2019. I think this is actually pretty good.

I really am such a sucker for long-term pining.

Lynn doesn't deserve this!

Sending a messenger with files is also real. A lot of folks don't have the data structure to handle large transfers.

Oh ho. A little lie. That's how it starts. Khai wasn't wrong for giving this girl a lift after possibly bumping her with his bike, nor was he wrong when she flirted with him and he sent her on the way. Still, he knows now that Third resented all the girls and he's always avoided confrontation.

I recognize the song she's singing, but I can't place it.

🎶 Hey, Jealousy. Hey, Jealousy. 🎶

Seems like Paan is maybe not that excited about this wedding and knows ole boy is cheating.

Oh don't go into a kiss as you're crying, Paan.

Drama next episode!

I'm a bit out of step with the Un, Two, and Lynn plotline. I hope I have interesting commentary for them about long term pining when it completes. Bone and Paan have some flavor, but I get squicked out when teachers get down with their students. I like the way they used Ching Ching this episode with Third's jealousy because he's got so many reasons to be leery of Khai even if Khai is trying to change. Looking forward to that blow up.

It was supposed to be an ordinary day. An ordinary day for every inhabitant of this outback. Because finally the sun is shining, the sky is clear blue. Nothing to complain about, right?

It would have been good for you, too, if you hadn't had the idea to rob two drunken men a few days earlier. Well, everything would be fine, except when you were leaving the saloon, another person nudged you with the shoulder and all the drunks' looted things... They just fell out. The men, despite being drunk, apparently thought rationally and recognized the property belonging to them in the stolen items.

You quickly gathered your things and started to run, but the men ran after you. Despite the fact that your condition was among the better ones, they still caught up with you... And they were not the nicer people. They grabbed you near the general store and threw you against the wall, trapping you against it.

- Well, who do we have here? - The one holding you giggled, and the foul stench from his mouth hit your poor nostrils. The other, who was standing a little further away, responded quickly with a soft chuckle.

- Oh Ben, we have a missing boy here. - So who was holding you was named Ben...

- Rob, I guess we have to teach this shit some culture, right? - He stopped for a moment. He studied your face for a moment, analyzing it carefully. - If you steal, do it with style. - Saying that, Ben grabbed you by the shoulders, pulled you to him and then threw you with all his strength against the wall of the store.

You have lost the ability to breathe for a while, as if someone or something has squeezed your lungs. You had to get out of this situation somehow, they're going to shoot you!

- Gentlemen, take it easy. There's been a big mistake! Your things were on the floor. You know, found not stolen. - You laughed nervously. They were obviously not laughing, despite the fact that they had wide, disgustingly scary grins on their faces. - I'll give them to you and we'll go in peace, we don't have to fight each other as punishment.

Your proposal did not convince them, you could say that they even found an excuse to do something to you, after all, you lied. They knew it and you knew very well that they knew it.

- Oh no boy. We won't fight. Your punishment will be much worse than a simple fight. - Ben said. After that, all you saw was the man standing in front of you raise his hand. The next thing you remember is darkness. He obviously stunned you.

As soon as you woke up, you noticed that you were in a makeshift camp. You were scantily clad, wearing nothing but a torn gray shirt, dirty from the sweat of one of the bastards, and worn trousers. Your wrists were bound and your throat burned. You were thirsty and the fact that there was full sun in the sky didn't make it any better. You noticed someone approaching you. You recognized him as Rob.

- Come on, our little princess is awake? I sympathize with you boy... You will go through ordeal...- He stopped for a moment. - Although no, you could not have robbed us, otherwise you would not be in this situation. -He sent you a mean smile.

You didn't answer for a moment. Maybe it's because of where you are? Or by thirst and slowly growing hunger?

- Can i drink? - But you dared to ask. You hoped they'd have some heart.

- Oh my dear ... You will not drink and eat, you will lie in the heat until you die and we will throw your carcass to the coyotes for food. - So you were wrong.

And so it was three days since you drank and ate nothing, you lay in the sun and sometimes you were tied to horses that dragged you along the ground as sharp as glass. You'd somehow accept it if it weren't for the fact that these motherfuckers were eating and drinking and in front of you, making you even more thirsty.

You were already weak. You barely opened your eyes to greet the sun. Still, you've had some luck. These men went hunting. They weren't there long, so you decided to take the opportunity. You crawled to one of the tents to hide in the shadows. Unfortunately, they took all the food and drink with them, although you were grateful to have even a stupid shadow. Always something, right?

You slowly fell asleep, forgetting about all your ailments. Your paradise was interrupted by a scream and a strong tug on the bound hands.

- You little son of a bitch! Are you hiding in the shadows?! Your punishment will be much worse! - Before you could answer, the skin on your cheeks collided with the fist of one of your tormentors. They hit you again and again, they kicked you blindly.

- Wait Ben... Wait... I have another idea. Rob muttered with a strange, mysterious and scary note in his voice. Ben looked at him curiously. You didn't like it.

Rob fixed your legs with more knots so that you were spread apart, your chest resting on the ground.

You already knew what was coming. They both started to unzip their pants, laughing and throwing insults at you.

- You won't like it, but we will! - Ben chuckled. They wanted to rape you, that was obvious. You didn't have the strength to fight, to free yourself from the knots, so you just waited for it all to pass. The worst hasn't even started and it's already stopped.

- Hey you! - A low voice boomed. You opened your eyes and turned your head to where the voice came from. A tall, muscular man stood in front of the camp. He had long black hair. Native American. Beside him stood a blond, also tall and broad-shouldered. They both looked on in disgust. You didn't know if they were looking at you that way, at those bastards, or for some other reason.

Ben and Rob stood up and quickly zipped up their pants. They were clearly nervous about the intrusion of strangers on "their territory". But for you, it could be an opportunity. You'd either find someone good who would save you from trouble, or someone bad who might kill you later.

- What do you want? - Rob growled. The dark skinned man took a step closer to you.

- Did you kill all these animals? - He asked. As far as you know, Native Americans valued balance in their lives with animals. They thanked them for meat and other nutrients.

- What do you care? - The stranger apparently couldn't take it anymore and shot Ben. Aimed at the head, took his life. The blonde looked at you and shook his head. He approached Rob, who, at the moment of the shot, fell to the ground, covering himself with his hands.

- Do you see Charles? They even have their slave. - So the big one is named Charles.

- I'll untie him, and you kill the other one. - Charles came over to you and cut the ropes. He has freed you from this embarrassing and uncomfortable position.

- Thank you. - Your voice was hoarse. You sat down and rubbed your wrists. You already had wounds on them that bled.

A small noise caught your attention. The blonde didn't kill Rob, he beat him, threatening him that if he didn't tell the others to stop hunting animals, he would find him and kill him. Then he let go of Rob, who ran away until he was dusty.

-Arthur, why didn't you kill him? - Charles asked. So you already know their names. Charles and Arthur. Nicely.

- It's okay, he'll tell the others, and the mass killing of bison will stop, big man. - After that, Arthur looked at you and knelt beside you.

- What's your name boy? - Charles asked first.

-Y/N.

- What did they do to you? - He continued. For a moment, you didn't feel like talking about how you got into trouble, but there's a slim chance these men will help you.

- They didn't abuse me for no reason... I wanted to rob them... And they caught me and wanted to punish me. - You cut it short. Your hoarseness made itself felt as Arthur noticed.

- Charles, give the kid water. - Didn't need to be told twice. The muscular man took out a carafe of water and handed it to you. You thanked him and started drinking greedily.

- Do you have a place to go back to?

- Charles no.

-Arthur! Can you see the state he's in? We have to help him.- He convinced Arthur. The blonde thought for an eternity until he finally made up his mind.

- All right... Take him on horseback and return to the camp. I'll fix something else. - Arthur groaned in defeat and got to his feet. He went to look around the camp of these animal killers a bit.

- Then come on, Y/N. - Charles said and took you in his arms. He carried you as if you weighed nothing.

-You're safe in our camp...- he added after a moment.

- Thank you, if it wasn't for you, I don't know what they would have done with me later. - you kept thanking the man.

-We're not good, but we're not as bad as they are. They killed animals for fun. -Charles said thoughtfully. You quickly interrupted his thoughts.

- Animals are gentle. - You said without thinking.

- Just like you. -Your face blushed.

You knew this relationship would be interesting.

Oh, good. I'm glad I have time for a couple more chapters because I wasn't too keen on having to stop where I did last night.

Stream-of-consciousness thoughts for TriMax Vol. 8, Chapters 3-4 below.

Chapter 3: Counter Attack!!

Who in the heck is even capable of launching a reasonable counterattack here? Vash would have to get free, Eye of Michael and/or the leftover Gung-Ho Guns would have to care.... Do the people at Home know something we readers don't? (I mean, they probably know a lot we don't, but still.)

Ah, yeah, looks like Home is doing stuffs.

Heh, Home is equally skeptical of counterattacks, I see.

So, basically, it sounds like their plan is to cause enough trouble for Vash to appear somehow. I wonder if any of these folks actually know (or even suspect) where Vash is. They could really use Wolfwood right now.

Oh, man. Meryl really did get a huge dose of Vash's memories, didn't she? She looks pretty grim about it.

Forty men chasing Knives anywhere sounds like a trap set by Knives.

Awww, flashback Vash! Look at that floofy blond hair! He's not even wearing glasses! He's just... Vash.

It feels like this is a mixture of Luida telling the story in the present and panels showing the flashback. If I were to take a wild guess, this one panel is actually young Luida wanting to chase after Vash.

Man, Luida's sharp. She's gambling all of this on what she knows of Vash.

THE PLANT SMILED. GOSHDARNIT, STOP PRETENDING THEY'RE UNAWARE AND NOT SENTIENT TO SOME DEGREE!!! SHE SMILED BECAUSE SHE WAS THANKED!! Always remember to thank your Plants, people.

I mean, seven months of restraining Vash with very little in terms of breaks would drain anyone. And it's not like Knives cares if he's burning through his most loyal and dedicated underling.

Vash looks exhausted.

Ohh, this could go poorly....

Dang, as tired as he is, Vash is showing incredible control over his own abilities.

I think Elandira's got it figured out.

I think Knives' plan wasn't very well thought out. Chances are this is gonna mess with Knives' sense of self. Actually, that's probably why so many people saw that vision. If he's got their memories in him and he already exudes weird Plant aura even when asleep, then chances of him accidentally exuding a memory like that are high.

Yeah, they all underestimated how far Vash will go to save people. A person. It could just be one person. That person doesn't even need to be as close to him or have done as much for him as Wolfwood has. His body is a testament to how far he'll go to save others.

Knives looks like he might have realized he done fucked up. Or, at the very least, that his plan's about to fall apart royally.

And for once, Vash is in full control of his angel arm even at full power like that.

Gods, I love his cheeky little smirk here. Elandira's telling him to stop, and he's just like, "Make me."

Ohhhh, he reversed it to get them out of there! Now they just have to... uh... survive falling all the way to the ground, I guess.

Knives isn't thrilled about this, I see.

Dude. IDK what's going on here anymore, but it's gross and scary.

Updating by writing you guys this huge post. I mean it, it's really long xD

Heeey-ho!

I know, I know, I couldn't keep my Halloween promise T-T

As it has happened before, I'll be posting both Dante and Vergil's part during november. I'm still working on them, so it might take a while. Do apologise.

They will be here, just with a little delay. I do think Halloween should last more than just a few days, so screw it, until Christmas, it's still legal to celebrate Halloween at the Bibliothéque \o/

Now, now, for those who don't like too much talking, I'll be explaining a little bit below why I'm taking so long. Feel free to skip it if you don't want to read it, no worries ;)

(There's a "conclusion and TL;DR for those who don't want to read this whole novel" in pink down there if you want to scroll down to that point!)

As *not* expected, my health took a crazy downturn. I know I say it all the time, but hell, I've no idea what gives this time. I literally stopped everything. I spend most of the day in pain and the rest of it sleeping. That's it.

I have an appointment with my doctor next week, but I'm not too much hopeful. Last exams showed I have two ulcers - which means scarring and bleeding in the stomach - that can be literally anything.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty worried it can be something worse than I was expecting, although it never even appeared to exist before, but well... My anxiety isn't exactly logic.

Secondly, as you guys might not know, I'm graduated in Law, worked as a lawyer for 5+ years before having a burnout and all those health issues (yeah, yeah, don't do what I've done, all that sort of thing). But something you don't know, and honestly probably only my close family knows and cares about, is that my graduation thesis was "The Conflict of Israel x Palestine and International Law".

I researched it for 3 years before defending my thesis, got a college prize for it, the professor who mentored me made a huge speech on how I proved "we women can do it on academia and research" and that my work was really nice. I'm not saying all this 'cause I'm boasting, I'm just saying I know what I'm talking about (because you know, who has never met a man who thinks their opinion is better than yours "just because" while you have a fucking huge CV on research and graduated with honors on the same matter but, somehow, you can't beat the opinion he just pulls out of his ass?).

All of this to say, I'm devastated by what's going on. This is more than politics to me. This was my thing, you know? I had a dream, stupid ~promising young woman~ dream of doing something with my intelligence to actually help people. To actually stop massacres of happening. I wanted to work at the UN, I wanted to speak with world leaders, to show people how much I can research and how much basic human rights matter so horrid things cannot happen ever again.

When the war broke and the bombings started, I followed the news. And then the news weren't reliable anymore. I started digging to find the truth - and hells, the truth is ugly and bloody. I think that's when all those last shards of dreams came crashing down. I thought I could do something, you know? Actually do something. But in the end, my parents were broke, I had to work to help at home, I kept sending my CV to the UN but I was never enough, and I just wasted my energy and health under the boots of someone who had more power and influence than me to break me and kill my career before it even started.

I felt so horribly powerless. So horribly broken. It seems stupid, but everything that is going on out there fells personal to me, I have history with it. And it broke me. Completely. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't force myself to at least watch the horrible things going on and try to like/share so the algorithm can make it reach other people.

That's all I can do.

You know, I have a lot of Vergil in me. For the things I wrote, I think you all can see I have a thing of "I never want to feel pain again and I want power so no one can never hurt me again" - that's why I think I want to kick his ass every time I see this fucking man being so emotionally constipated and ruthless because of his trauma. It's a way to protect himself, burning every path so he never feels powerless again - and I guess we all HATE to see the parts of our own personalities we hate the most in someone elese

So yeah. I know things took a dark turn on this one, but I decided to be honest with you guys - since I'm owing so many updates: the 2 Halloween fics, Nemesis and Survivor's Blood. I'm not really well currently, and only the gods know how much effort I'm making to keep it together... At least a little bit.

Physically, I'm like V. Falling apart. It's so... Harrowing. I think that's the word that fits the feeling better.

Mentally, I'm Vergil. I don't want to, I want to beat him with a stick, I want to yell at his face and kick his stupid ass, but damn. I get it. That crippling fear of not wanting to feel powerless again, to have people abuse you? The feeling you're trapped in your own body? The "feelings bring only pain and suffering"? The terrifying dread of discovering you failed at everything even with all your talents and never wanting to admit it? Check all of those. I hate you Vergil, but I get you.

I'm trying, though. I use writing as a coping mechanism and as a way to resolve many things mentally, but the last months have felt SO overwhelming I went back to my paralysed state of not being able to do anything and running away from things that remind me of all THAT.

You guys might be alarmed, but there's no reason to be, though. This is a ~moment~ I'm going through and I just need to sort it all out. I'm starting to get some warning signs of numbness, vivid nightmares of past issues, the paralysis, avoidance - but I've been there before. I just haven't figured out a way to pull myself together and I don't even remember how I did that once, so it might take me some time.

I don't know why, I had some sort of weird ~boost~ while thinking in the shower today, and I might know how to give the small steps to start getting back on track and gaining that momentum I need. This weekend I had to convince my mom to celebrate her birthday 'cause she's my Samwise Gamgee carrying me up Mount Doom and she wasn't in a mood to do so - therefore on monday, I have some things in mind to discuss with her and, hopefully, things will slowly go back to their place.

Conclusion and TL;DR for those who don't want to read this whole novel hahaha

THAT BEING SAID: I'm really sorry I can't deliver everything I wanted to you, guys. I didn't expect life to get so much more fucked up than it already was, but here we are. I just have to get used to the new pace of things, but it might take a while. My output of writing will be slow, but hey, after I can get out of that paralysis phase, I'll probably be writing more and posting more - 'cause I really, really love this. With all my heart.

(also, if you people see me active on my drawing thing, posting a bunch of things, it's 'cause I'm finally getting to look at all the art I've done but never posted and actually updating it and putting my art blog to some use I haven't in a while - I won't be creating new stuff. All old stuff I procrastinated as HELL and those will be some of my small steps to get out of this rut)

Now, as a last thing, I intend to use a video from a guy I always watch on youtube as some sort of guiding light in these trying times hahahaha but seriously, he has some really sound advice and he is so down to earth. Maybe someone who's going through some fucked up times can use his advice as well and unfuck their life too :)

There's nothing I love more than writing, creating something for people - and all of this, everyone I met here and every single person that uses their time, which is the most precious thing we have, to read something I wrote gives me the greatest gift I can be given. You guys have no idea how much I appreciate you and how much I don't want to disappoint you.

So thank you. I will work slowly and I will need some time to get my shit together, but I'll always be here. I'll update everything I need and won't leave you hanging but you know... It's like Dracula Daily. It starts in April and finishes by the end of the year, taking time to put the letters together.

Aaaaand, if you read Lord of the Rings, the whole adventure takes a year. We are very much conditioned to be given content constantly to keep algorithms happy, but I do have a view that humans (and art for that matter) can't keep up with being content.

Zygmunt Bauman said we live in liquid times, and made the theory that everything is liquid nowadays (for people who like sociology and philosophy, I highly recommend his books, I love him with all my heart), so we're not really used to things that are a little more... Constant. Earthy, perhaps. Slow, stable, never leaving.

I try my best to be like that, not like a liquid, inconstant, fleeting presence. I want the things I do to be part of something that will stay, and I like being someone that stays - and doesn't just flow away because everything has to be fast and ever moving nowadays. The Bibliothéque is to be like that, I think, a place that no matter what, you can come back after ten months and you'll still find me here, drinking some tea and writing stuff. And I'll be happy to see you again, for as much as you can or would like to stay :)

This came up today and reminded of '30 discussion' here. Why it sounded like Jimin will stop working after his 30s ?

He was working on cleaning up his 20s... he'll be 30 when he's out and he'll continue being a better artist and person. But 40s ? find a way live after that ? 🤧

I agree with you, his chronic pain takes a big toll on his body.. and his doctor said as long as he's in this industry he'll have this. Pretty sure he won't be up for anything else like acting or variety shows after 30s.. he only want to perform. So does that mean he'll retire ? 🥲

So, before we get to the ‘meat’ of my thoughts for this chapter, Edward is doing good on his part but the mystery is mostly contained in the modern-day part right now so that’s where I will focus on.

I will have to ask, is this something that Edward knew on his own?

Or is this meant to be something Noa did that goes against history?

Are we saying Noa’s Animus has the ability to change the past as he sees it? (Not the real past though but the past that the Animus is loading)

My head pretty much hurt when I was reading the modern-day part because it sorta doesn’t make sense?

This dialogue makes it seem like rejecting the memories would worsen the Bleeding Effect but that’s not what happened to Cal’s father in the film. He went blind because he refused to cooperate with the memories yet there was no mention of how he suffered from the Bleeding Effect.

I supposed the film’s side effects would have less canonical standing than ‘Shimazu’’s words in the webtoon?

Also… this part…

Are we saying that Edward, who wanted to meet his daughter after learning about her, the same Edward who returned to London with her, the same Edward who made a name for himself as a noble and made sure to provide for both his daughter and his son…

We’re calling Edward a deadbeat dad???

Look… let’s be clear, Edward made grave mistakes. How he left Caroline is a big red flag that points at him being a deadbeat husband even if he says he’s doing it for them but the ending of Black Flag shows that he wants to be better, he wants to be a good father.

And Edward's part in this webtoon is set 3 years after Edward and Anne had this conversation.

I think this is Noa projecting his hatred for his father but Edward is not the right person to be used for this entire thing.

The whole Kenway family drama started when he had Edward killed, Jenny sold off and indoctrinated Haytham into becoming a Templar.

For all Edward Kenway’s shortcomings and foolish decisions, I refuse to believe that he was ever anything but a good father to his children and Noa’s words, while I know came from the eyes of someone who don’t know Edward enough and someone who has a very bad relationship with his own dad, still managed to irk me.

At least Desmond had an actual bad dad to push his daddy issues to with Haytham and we can't even really call Haytham a deadbeat dad since his 'lack of contact' is because he didn't even know he had a son in the first place.

I'm just saying the Kenway men (actually, the Auditore-Kenway men) are not the right people to call 'deadbeat dads' in this scenario. An argument can be made for 'deadbeat husband' for what Edward did to Caroline but NOT deadbeat dads.

Now, for the other ‘main character’ of the modern-day era…

This line does not bold or add single quotation marks on the Shimazu so this could mean that she does believe she’s a Shimazu but the boss lady doesn’t believe she’s a Shimazu. Of course, this could also be an indication that the boss lady calling her ‘Shimazu’ with quotation marks was meant to show that she was stressing the name instead of implying she’s not a real descendant of the Shimazu clan.

Another thing… (this is more of a personal thing than anything so you can ignore this)

I have a question that is weird even by the standards of otherkin but I trust in your thoroughly demonstrated abilities to think things through and reason when those of us closer to a situation cannot, so. My apologies, wall of text incoming.

So, my source creator thought it would be funny to make me exactly like himself visually simply because he thought that made our opposite personalities, political ideologies, life goals, fashion senses and family backgrounds extra funny. If I pull up a picture of him, I see my exact face looking back. Even the freckles are where they should be. It is absolutely wild. I can't actually put it into words accurately. That is my face. That man is not me. I am 100% not him, he wrote a life for me that is the inverse of his and I remember that life very clearly. But his face is my face.

I'm thinking of making a kin blog, and my go-to instinct is to use a picture of him since he cosplayed as me one Halloween and there are both pics and videos. It's a go-to instinct because his face is my face. I am not him. He is not me. We're both aware of that. I wouldn't be factkin or pretending to be him or roleplaying, because I don't remember his childhood split between Turkey and the US with a loving family, I remember a childhood spent miserable in Atlanta with a very unloving family. I don't remember being comfortable in my sexuality and straight, I remember being gay and deeply closeted. Etc, etc. I could list a hundred examples here. All we have in common is a face, being cis men and being Turkish (in my last life, I am neither cis nor Turkish now).

But if someone doesn't know my canon - and it's very, very likely that they do not know the AU version of himself he's dropped lore for over the course of a three year streaming career - then it looks like I'm using the face of a famous streamer for my own. That looks like factkin. I am not, in any way, factkin. We have a face and a gender in common at most. If you're not aware of his ongoing AU story of his mirror universe counterpart, though... if I have my icon be his face, are people going to think I'm factkin? Are they going to think I'm a troll? Will people avoid me?

I mean, I know a lot of people are going to think that I'm a troll when they read "Hank Pecker, the mirrorverse AU of Hasan Piker" already so I'm not exactly full of hope for my chances of ever being taken seriously. I'm probably going to end up with no one to talk to because that statement is, frankly, ridiculous. I'm aware of that. I've also run out of stamina to keep denying this after two years, so. The account is definitely getting made. Will an icon of his/my face make people more likely to view me as a troll or factkin? Should I not do that?

Sorry for the wall of text. I just have a lot of thoughts and I'm kind of nervous. I know why people will laugh at me claiming to be spiritual 'kin, I know it's valid, but ho boy, I am not looking forward to it.

I totally get why you're nervous; this is kind of a tangled-up situation! You got a weird one on your hands, for sure.

So, I want to start a little to the left of your question and point out: you're currently basing this decision seemingly entirely on whether or not it's going to make other people take you seriously. This is, generally speaking, not something I would advise allowing to dictate the way you present yourself, outside of a context such as professional setting where it's going to have a major impact on your life and is kind of necessary to prioritize. It's certainly something you can take into account, but if you let other people's opinions dominate your presentation of yourself, that's a very good way to set yourself up for living in anxiety, stress, and dissatisfaction long-term. You're never going to be able to make everyone happy.

So, my answer's mostly not based on that. To directly answer the question, yeah, it probably will make people misread you as factkin at first glance, if they're familiar with the person; if they're not, they'll probably just think you're using your own IRL face.

...That being said, my actual advice is: probably don't, but not for that reason. Rather, for the reason that using a portrait photo of another person as an identifier for yourself is... generally poor etiquette regardless of the context, at least in my opinion. It's less a "people won't take you seriously" thing and more a "liable to look like you're actually trying to impersonate him" thing, as well as a "using someone's face as your identifier online implies it belongs to you" thing, if that makes sense. (Forgive me if it doesn't; I'm struggling to articulate this one a little bit.)

With that said: this is just my opinion, and it being in cosplay does blur the lines on that a bit more. I don't think there's a solid right/wrong answer on this one; it's just gonna have to come down to your best judgement. Some people are for sure gonna be uncomfortable with it if you go through with this; it's kind of up to you to decide whether you think that's justified and/or a good enough reason to stick to art or other representations. (Art of the character might be a good compromise, if you're looking for one, since that divorces it from your this-world counterpart a bit more.)

...Hopefully that helps at least some; sorry I can't give a more solid answer on this one.

For the record, I maintain that I am very bad a smut, and ask for kindness and forgiveness in that regard. Outside of that... some how smut translated to seduction, which some how came around to feeding habits for the boys... pls forgive me, this ran away on me...

- Ok, I'm just going to say it right out the gate: Paul is a slut.

- He's pretty, he's got the whole bad boy/rockstar attitude going for him, he can pull anyone he wants, any time he wants.

- There's this really strange phenomenon where when Paul winks at a girl, her panties just disappear.

random thoughts about castaway diva, episode oven four

(read more because i always get carried away lol and this post might contain spoilers)

I find it funny that bo geol is considered the mean and condescending brother (in mok ha's eyes) when in reality he seems to be the more mature and rational one.

In that aspect, he does remind me a bit of ki ho because he's always thinking of everything and making sure to prevent risks from happening. He might keep a distance from mok ha because he doesn't know how to approach her after all these years?

As you can see, i'm very invested in the 'who is ki ho?' part of the plot.

For once (exageration), I agree with woo hak on the digital illeteracy. I'm seeing this first hand among neighbours and family friends. Some people take it for granted when they grew up with the internet and know how to work on laptops/computers. However, be geol should take into consideration that mok ha has lived on a deserted island for 15 years, i repeat 15 years!!! It's only normal she doesn't know how to do a lot of things that weren't necessary for survival.

I expected bo geol to be more understanding of mok ha because he seemed more polite than his brother. However, woo hak is the more empathetic one it seems.

Seeing mok ha being so impatient to reunite with ki ho makes me in turn impatient but alas, i don't think it'd be good to make them meet again right now because this drama would be 6 episodes long instead of 12.

it's beautiful how mok ha is offering to eat with woo hak just so he won't be alone. She's felt alone for a long time (both when she lived in chunsam and on that deserted island). The only person who showed her support hasn't reunited with her but she wants to be like ki ho: helping others during harsh times because she doesn't want that to happen to anyone else.

Woo hak, i think, holds a special place in mok ha's heart (unknowingly). I mean he's the first human she's seen after 15 years. She sees him like her savior. So yeah, it's understandable how she extends her hand towards him. Just like he did unintentionnally on the deserted island.

Honestly, is there anything bad about this drama?

The psychological warfare between lee seo jun and yoon ran joo... mind blown

The thing I appreciate the most is how mok ha is protecting ran joo and seeing right through the ceo's tactics. At least, there's one person on ran joo's side. I'm relieved.

The whole time mok ha was singing as ran joo, i was holding my breath and telling her to pay attention to her surroundings because someone might catch her and blow the whole cover up 💔😭😭😭

I feel for ki ho because he thought by changing his identity he could escape his father. However, mok ha reappeared and everything is back to his teenage years. The vision of officer jung is scaring me.

Is this drama's purpose to confuse everyone watching or what? Because at this point I think ki ho is both brothers. I mean bo geol knew immediately where mok ha was even though woo hak didn't tell him about what's written in the card. But then, you have woo hak getting hit with memories (more like nightmares) of his father. I'm not sure how it'd be possible to get flashbacks from someone else's life. This isn't a sci-fi drama, is it?

Lee seo jun is shady soooooooooooooooooooo shady. I don't trust him and I don't want mok ha nor ran joo being around him.

THAT'S IT! I'm no longer watching the show. Why are you creating a love story between ran joo and lee seo jun? HUH?!!! Is ran joo going to be swayed by him and lose her career just for some man? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I don't approve.

I didn't think I'd say this but I'm thankful for lee seo jun being manipulative and disgusting. I do not want a love story between these two.

But the fact that he's basically stopping any of her albums to be sold so she won't reach the 20 million goal is utterly vile. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

What kind of man is scared of a woman's success? A BIGOT!

I don't know what to think of this episode. So many things happened.
