mia likes to bake and ethan likes to scrap book and he always likes to take pictures of mias cakes/ baked goods and has a album for them 😭

i am a multishipper so i draw a lot of ethan ships so my girl is left out sometimes and im sorry mia 😔

i actually really like their relationship, its a really complex dynamic that i like to talk about with my friends

i think the issue is that when talking about mithan or mia in general, theres just SO MUCH misinformation that its honestly a pain the butt to talk about

people still think that she was responsible for the creation of eveline, people still think that she experimented on eveline, people still use examples of her attacking ethan as if she did it on her own will instead of being mind controlled

in reality she was just someone who oversaw the transportation of evie. im not excusing her or anything because obviously she knew what she was doing, but people really try to accuse her of doing something she didnt and it bothers me alot lol

the problem with the fandom is that people either try to water her down to girlboss who did nothing wrong and fail to acknowledge the complexity/ moral grayness of her character and the other side is misogynists 😭😭😭😭

its hard to talk about her without people either going "stop trying to villainize her and make her look bad!" or people ACTUALLY villainizing her and acting like heisenberg would have treated him better 😭😭

mithan is such a sad relationship because they loved each other so much and that ended up being the reason their relationship fell apart (sort of... its not like the broke up... ethan kinda just straight up died)

i get a lot a trouble for saying this, but mia is a selfish person.

its not a bad thing! well i mean it is but it doesnt make her some evil witch who is somehow worse than the guy how made a werewolf american ninja warrior. its just a major character flaw she has! which is good! mia being a flawed person who makes mistakes and morally gray decisions make her a more interesting person!

she is selfish in the way that she wants to keep her family with her no matter the cost. even if it means lying to ethan about her job so that he wont think different of her. here is a interrogation from the re7 DLC, which is easy to miss!

she isnt necessarily trying to apologize for the things she has done, she is more of a, "u wont need to forgive me in the first place if we just forget it all and move on"

she doesn't try to redeem herself for what she has done, she tries to move on and return to the normal life that she wants so bad. which is fine! everyone copes a different way and she has to right to move on from her trauma. the problem that lies in this is that she has a shared trauma with ethan who still has no idea what went on in dulvey and still effects him till the present (he is mold! this is a important thing to know! most people would want to know if they were a walking corpse)

she played a direct part in what happened in dulvey, and im not referring to the email, she did not send that. she never wanted ethan to come in the first place. she tried her best to send a video to him, begging him to forget about her because she wanted to protect him, BUT it didnt send.

he got involved because she was involved. its honestly a series of really really unfortunate events.

THOUGH! she did know what she was getting into. im tired of seeing the narrative that mia was innocent and didnt know what was going on or was simply a bystander. she knew what she was doing, she knew eveline was a bioweapon, she knew eveline was a child. she used a MACHINE GUN! she knows how to use weapons and was obviously trained for it.

she tried her best to keep everybody out of the mess, ex: warning the bakers not to take them in, warning ethan not to find her, sacrificing herself for ethan in the later half of re7

but again, those are the consequences of HER actions

her consequences just happen to get really big and end up hitting ethan on the head like a metal sheet 😭

their relationship is really so interesting, it makes me really sad to think about sometimes 😭they both went through something that nobody else would ever understand, in the end they really only have each other. they get moved to an entire different country and the dulvey incident gets covered up with a "gas leak"

its really tragic because their marriage definitely had some flaws and bumps. and i know im repeating myself but its because people always take this in the worst way possible but just because i say their relationship was rocky doesnt mean im saying they dont love each other!!! thats the entire basis of mias character!! saying she doesnt love ethan would destroy her entire character!

you can see in the re8 DLC how fondly ethan talks about mia! he loves her so much, though im not sure if his comments in the DLC are him narrating current (post re8) or his thoughts before everything went down and he died (pre re8)

everything mia did was because she LOVED ethan. she would never do anything to intentionally hurt him, she is not a cruel person. she hides the truth of her job from ethan pre re7 because she loves him and doesnt want her job to drive them apart. she CONTINUES to refuse to tell ethan the truth post re7 because she wants to move on a live a happy normal life with him and knows something like her being directly associated with the connections would probably cause (more) problems. she refuses to tell ethan that he is mold because again, hard to live a happy marriage with your husband after you tell him hes a bioweapon.

obviously i dont think it was right that she did this, thats what makes her selfish! she did it for herself! she did it for her family! she thought it would work out, she thought that they could move on and be happy together.

the issue is that ethan didnt want to forget. he wanted to know what happened, he wanted to know the part mia played, he wanted answers! which is reasonable! he knows to some extent that mia was partially responsible for his involvement and he was always suspcious that mia was lying to him about her job which is implied when mia says "you were right, i did lie to you"

she doesnt learn, she doesnt stop lying, her lies get bigger and worse and it sucks yeah but it makes her so interesting!!! she keeps doing stupid things under the idea that this is whats best for her and her family, that if she hides this everything will work out and it will be for the better but its not!

just because telling your husband hes dead and a bioweapon is a hard subject to bring up doesnt mean you DONT bring it up. people shouldnt use that as a reason to excuse mia 😭, its a very bad excuse and honestly highlights how horrible their communication skills were. you cant just not tell your husband that he is actually infected with the mold and not tell him for the tree years between post re7 and pre re8.

im not saying these things to put mia down, or try and villanize her. these are all just actual things her character does! she isnt evil, but she isnt a knight in shining armor either. we need to be able to have talks about complex characters without crying everytime someone points out a flaw. characters have flaws! and mia just happens to have a lot of them!

im not mad at her, i dont dislike her because i think this way of her. shes a fictional character! you can like characters that are morally gray, or villains that drink blood and make corpse soldiers. they are fictional! pointing out the flaws of a character does not mean i dont like them.

i wouldnt call her "the real villain of re8" but i wouldnt treat her like a damsel in distress either. she is a competent person, she knows what shes doing, she has her reasons for doing them. she made bad descions with good intentions behind them! they can coexist and we should let them!

i like mithan! its a complex relationship because they both love each other so much but hurt each other in the process

talking about them is just a pain in the butt because talking about mia is a pain in the butt lol

i really hate how she keeps getting sidelined, its super frustrating to see mia get put in a cage in every game 😭

its even more frustrating that mia straight up just disappears???? in the shadows of rose DLC... like she just stops taking care of rose and theres nothing said about it. no reason or explanation. i dont think mia would ever ditch rosemary because she didnt care about her, but we probably will never know because capcom sucks at writing and they probably forgot the mia ever even existed.

all in all, i think the fandom is really just full of misinformation which make people either think mia is some horrible evil person, or its full of people who think that saying mia messed up is the equivalent of comparing her to wesker lol.

i really love mia, shes a incredibly fun and complex character, its just hard to enjoy her sometimes with the people in the fandom haha.

Could you plz write abt Eddie x gf reader? The gist is Jason constantly picking on him + being cruel, but Ed never pays any mind + just responds in his Eddie fashion. But as soon as Jason says something about the reader, he defends her and goes ape shit on him. Sadly Ed loses the fight and comes home w/ a black eye and reader tries to figure out how he got it, but he doesnt have the heart to tell her what Jason said + tries to lie. Reader comforting Eddie would be nice to see for a change :'))

You don't bother turning when you hear the door to Eddie's trailer open, knowing you'll be jammed against the counter in a hug faster than you can. But when you don't feel Eddie's face smashed into your own you frown, spinning on your heel to see what the hold up is.

It's a black eye. And a split lip. And a mysterious trickle of blood down his cheek. There's a smattering of scrapes and rouge at his knuckles, too, and he's standing off-kilter. Your boy is beaten.

"Eddie!" You shriek loudly in alarm. You realize too late that he's got a headache, only realizing when he winces and a battered hand shoots up to cover his left ear.

"I- I'm sorry," You hastily babble, rushing to his side, "What happened? Who- who did this, are you okay?"

"I'll be fine," He assures you, though the nod of his head is wobbly, "I'm just gonna clean up in the bathroom, alright sweets?"

"No- no! Eddie," You rush to stop him, only slightly guilty to hinder progress in the name of information, "Please, just tell me what happened. I'll help you clean up, I- I just need to know!"

"It was Jason," Though he answers your question, he evades the underlying question after it with a sad smile, "'Should'a known one of these days he was gonna swing."

"I don't get it," You sniffle, moved to tears by Eddie's black-and-blue eye. You lead him into the trailer's bathroom, fumbling with disinfectant and a cotton ball, "He bothers you every day. He's never punched you before. What- what did he do? What was different?"

"Just felt like starting shit, I guess." Eddie shrugs, but his eyes are deep with concern. You bite the inside of your cheek, hating how defeated he looks as his eyelashes flutter shut for you to dab at the injury.

"I won't be mad at you, you know. If you were the first to swing. I- I'm not calling you a liar," You assure him when he goes stiff, "This just seems.. off."

"Yeah." He nods solemnly, eyes firmly shut even after you're done cleaning his cuts, "It- it was off. He just.. fuck, I know he was just saying it to get a rise out of me, I know he'd never say it to you or anything but I just couldn't let it slide. I didn't know his friends were gonna see us, I- I wouldn't have started anything if I knew I couldn't have finished it."

He rambles with the vigor of an excited child, all slurred words and hand gestures, though he's more like an accused in court. Your brain catches on one sentence and pulls the thread from the scene he'd woven you, and you fray it while you bandage his cut.

"To me? He'd never say it to me?"

His eyes scrunch even tighter shut, and you know he's realized his mistake.

"I didn't mean to say that," He grits his teeth, "Just- Just please pretend I didn't say that? I feel like I got threaded through a meat grinder," He huffs, rubbing at his good eye with a bloodied hand, "Do I get a deathbed wish for that?"

"You always say your deathbed wish is gonna be to buzz Steve's hair," You murmur, cupping his bandaged cheek as light as a feather, "Please tell me the truth, Eddie."

He sighs; you've got him.

"He said shit about you. He said- said you'd regret dating me. 'Said I'd drag you down until you were 'trailer trash' just like me and Wayne. I- God, I'm so scared of that, Y/N, I just.. I freaked out."

"I like your trailer," You hum after a tense moment of silence, prolonged eye contact between your sympathetic ones and his glossy ones.

He cracks a smile, but it doesn't reach his good eye.

"You're not dragging me down," You promise him, "You make me happy. I don't need to live in a penthouse to be successful, that comes from emotional fulfillment."

"Yeah? And you, uh, you think I fill you up?"

It's a joke; you're back in his comfort zone. He shoots you as much of a smirk as he can with one bad eye, and you bite your lip to stop from grinning too hard.

"You stuff me full," You gush, "I'm all filled up with ooey gooey, mushy gushy, sappy sweet love, Eddie, and every time you hug me it oozes out of me like slime."

"My slimy girl," He croons, laughter bubbling up in his chest even though you suspect it aches, "So sticky."

He yanks you in by your waist from where he's sitting on the toilet lid. He buries his face in your stomach and you're worried he'll aggravate his black eye, but he sighs in content.

"I know it was stupid," He sighs, nose prodding at your skin, "I just.. I don't like it when he sees through me like that. I always thought I kept everything pretty hidden, but I guess I'm afraid of what everyone else is. Ruining you."

You think he says it into your stomach so he doesn't have to look you in the eyes. You sigh, running a hand through his curls and cringing when one is caked in blood. His arms tighten around your waist at the contact, and you speak without planning ahead, a heartfelt ramble.

"You couldn't ruin me, Eddie. You make me happy, even if no one else wants to admit it. I don't care that you're still in senior year. I don't care that your uncle is your dad. I don't care that you live in a trailer. I don't care that you play dungeons and dragons. If I disliked any of those things I wouldn't be with you. You- you have to know how much I love you," You breathe shakily, tears gathering at the corners of your eyes, "Eddie, I have dreams about you. Just- mundane stuff, like vacuuming. Last night I had one where you were organizing your socks. And I woke up smiling. Our lives aren't boiled down to anything besides us, Eddie. I love you, and you love me, and that's why I'm happy."

Once you stop talking, shut your brain down from where it had been tipped on its side and gushing love, you realize your shirt is wet. He's shaking, shoulders trembling as he sobs into your stomach. When he looks up at you it's with a pathetic puppy-eyed pout, split lip wobbling.

"You dream about me," He wails, "I dream about you too! I dream about- about marrying you, about living together, trailer or no trailer. And- and I dream about falling asleep with you every night for the rest of my life," He chokes on his emotions, "I love you, sweetheart."

"I love you too, Eddie." You smile, watery as it curls over your face. He rushes to stand, nose bumping your own as he nuzzles his face against your skin. His shaky exhale washes over your face and smells like the blood caking his lips, but you let him press them to your cupid's bow without protest.

"I want to rearrange my socks now," He admits, a teary chuckle in his throat, "You can sit on the bed and watch. Be pretty, n'all that."

"I think you should rest," Your eyes are smiling just as much as your mouth is, sparkling with adoration, "But tomorrow can be sock day."

"Deal," He nods, one of his tears pressing into your own cheek and wetting your skin, "Tomorrow, and every day for the rest of our lives."

but to be serious, i dont think "hikaru" from hgsn is necessarily "bad" for multiple reasons

when i first started it, i thought it really did just jump right into revealing "hikaru" wasnt yoshiki's old friend, "hikaru" flat out did not protest the accusation or even yoshiki's thought of him not being hikaru. i thought it couldve been drawn out a bit like showing whatever made yoshiki identify that he is different after he went missing, but it just goes into pretty much showing that yoshiki's right, this isnt really hikaru

and he does this which i originally thought was funnily quick to reveal

and the pilot/ch0 outright tells you he kinda like seeps/leaks out when hes upset (though itd be cool if i didnt know this beforehand)

but yoshiki is like "yeah, fine, i guess...", so then later "hikaru" tries to continue acting normally, but more sheepishly after being exposed

with casually talking abt how and what he can do as something that's not human

and then inappropriately reacts to what yoshiki isnt used to, therefore is afraid of

but gets upset if he's strongly rejected, especially concerning his inhuman qualities

leading to his worst outburst

but yoshiki is his favorite person, so he doesnt act on killing him

then just about his other main feeling is shame. he's recognized that yoshiki used to be open with hikaru, but has begun keeping secrets with "hikaru", he has a nightmare of yoshiki abandoning him specifically because of what he is

but he was more willing to kill the old woman and even their friend bc they werent as important, once again having his emotions based around fear; not knowing how to react and not acting before talking things out first. his actions are primarily immature uncomfortable feelings because he doesnt know any better and is fearing the worst.

the two end up having another aggressive conflict over this, yoshiki spiralling instead and asking hikaru to kill him if he cant die, and the important part is hikaru choosing to acknowledge what he did was apparently wrong and showing that he can't in the future, since hikaru was also evasive about his actions earlier. its built off earlier when he said he wanted to be less "ugly" (showing he was insecure abt his monstrous qualities), but also not immediately freaking out, showing hes working on himself

also sharing how yoshiki's previous actions affected him personally in a positive way as well, which moves yoshiki and at least for now he decides to go back to being with him. hikaru isnt intentionally like trying to cause everyone around him pain or anything lol, the story is fairly transparent with hikaru's feelings.

itd be a different story entirely if "hikaru" reacted in a way to gaslight him about it maybe or something similar, but i think just him "disarming" himself and literally putting half his life in yoshiki's hands and going out of his way to be honest is something. he's told yoshiki multiple times he isnt the same mentally, so he cant really be held to the same standards. yoshiki also ends up accepting his actions as well.

i think the first chapter so quickly showing hikaru being inhuman was a good representation of his mental state and how its changing through the story. i dont think he was bad originally, but he doesnt want to be, either

Loser Round 2: Sansa Stark (A Song of Ice and Fire) vs. Tails Nine (Sonic the Hedgehog)

Sansa Stark (11-13):

Ok so she's doing some mean things in the first book (lying, saying she "forgot" if her fiance attacked her sister or the other way around) and ratting out her father's plan to Cersei the evil queen™ so she's annoying in the first book

After, she's a child hostage in a court where she has 0 ally apart from maybe the creepy guy who sees her as both the child he never had and his crush (who is sansa's mother)

And she's constantly hated on and getting call names

Sansa is constantly accused of betraying her family and causing her father’s death despite being 11 at the time of his death. People hold her responsible for the actions of the real villains around her and claim that she deserves every bad thing that happened to her because she chose power over family. Her innocence was manipulated and then ripped away from her in a series of events no one could have predicted (and that’s literally why the series is popular, because no one saw it coming) but she is blamed for not knowing the outcome of these events. Her childhood is denied to her, both in and out of universe.

Sansa is 11 when she tells her future mother in law who she trusts that her father is taking her and her sister out of the city because she doesnt want to leave. Despite the fact that her father was not going to leave the city, fans say she should have been executed along side her father for betraying her. It was also common for people to blame her for not loving Tyrion enough, after she was forced into marrying an adult man who is part of the family that killed her parents, brothers, and beat/publically humiliate her on a regular basis. She is "a moon away from turning 13" when the marriage occurs

Tails Nine (8):

it might just be me, but i still keep seeing posts where nine is just summarized as "tails but emo" and it. kinda ticks me off because. nine is very obviously a version of tails that didn't have a sonic – or anyone – to save him, so he grew to rely on himself and *only* himself, and it shows.

there's just... it could've been so easy for the tails we know to have become just like nine if it weren't for sonic. nine never had a sonic to protect him, so he made himself seven metallic tails to utilize instead. nine never had a sonic who made him be proud of his tails, so he makes it look like he only has one. nine never had a sonic who made him feel loved, so he stuck to the ground, because reaching for the sky is something only idiots can hope for.

until he met sonic.

and god, just watching the episodes where these two interact can make your heart feel *so* warm, because nine is finally getting the love he deserves. you watch him reach for the instinctive snark before being shocked by sonic's genuine kindness. you watch him praise sonic even if they had only just met because finally, finally someone cares about him. you watch him *fly*, in front of sonic, and only in front of sonic.

of course, good things can't last forever.

[sonic prime major spoilers territory, don't read unless you've watched all of s2]

this fox has been beaten down by the world around him, it should come as no surprise that when he found out what the full extent of what he could do with the shards is, that his first idea was to create the ideal world out of a wasteland just for him and sonic. only them. because sonic was the only one who showed him kindness. hell, he even remembered the palm trees sonic mentioned. the ideal world just for him and the hedgehog that insists that he's his friend.

and that's where their views collide.

because while nine wants what he never had, sonic wants what he lost.

and doesn't that just hurt? it's rejection. something that he's grown used to. because as much as sonic tries, he never saw nine more than just another alternate version of tails. all those words of his were for someone nine wasn't.

it's rejection, and it just confirms to nine what the world forced him to believe.

he's all on his own.

it's really no wonder he took control of the shards to create his own paradise.

(side note: i don't *fully* blame sonic for this either. while yes, it's primarily his fault, i feel like he's been dealing with the consequences plenty by now. he's just doing his best to fix things back to the way it was before. sonic may be fast, but even a few days isn't enough to process all of that for the world's fastest hedgehog.)

so basically to put it lightly im really incredibly regular and ordinary but anyway

i'd imagine the murder is something constantly lingering in the back of his mind, since the guilt is always gnawing at his conscious. i think he would have nightmares about it actually, where nothing changed from the original incident, its just the sudden moment of him realizing someone's caught him doing illegal activities, and then instead of maybe getting away with a good excuse, he panics and kills a man (was it even panic? or is that just an excuse to get back at the landlord that made his life even harder?)

though, i think a bout of sleep deprivation could have the same effect where the memory just rushes forward out of nowhere. and he's entirely convinced he's covered again with blood that isn't his and he needs to get rid of the evidence before anyone notices because god. if someone notices all hell will break loose (though it would be deserved if he's a murderer, wouldnt it)

he probably over the sink for way longer than he should, desperately clawing the bloodstains off his hands yet working himself up more when the blood from his own injuries starts mixing with the water.

and then once emil comes in all rationality goes out the window because out of everyone that had to see this, it couldnt be emil. he tries to play it off as a usual thing, despite the obvious steam coming from the water

and emil looks concerned which only serves to panic him more, and this is where he starts to be a little unnerving. he knows emil said something but he couldnt hear what- it mustve been an accusation, though. at this point hes incredibly stressed and the words dont come out right and he can feel tears in his eyes because he has to be believed, or else he'll lose one of the few people who cares about him. it looks like emil might be believing him, since emil went to move him out of the bathroom, so he keeps talking and explaining despite how sore his throat is becoming and how much he's coughing until all of the sudden his voice doesnt work anymore and all that comes out are hoarse, terrible sounding coughs that seem to worsen as the tears fall incessantly.

at some point the coughing finally ends he notices emil is looking at him and holding a roll of bandages. as if asking for permission. and andrew isnt in the position to deny him anything, even if he thinks it'd be a waste of time in the end so he lets emil wrap them and help andrew steady his hands enough for him to put his gloves back on while mumbling quiet reassurances to him and once everything is done he feels emil leaning against him in an embrace that theyve been in so many times. an embrace he still wants more of despite how selfish that is

so he lets himself have this for now. and he realizes that he was just saved from the evil that plagued him by this man, even though he absolutely didnt deserve the divine treatment he was just given, and he nearly breaks down again because the weight against him is so welcoming and nonjudgmental and its all he could ever ask for at the moment

Moxxies bad trip

Moxxies side is so much more focused and helpful than Blitzo's. Moxxie has a problem, his subconscious drags it out, Moxxie decides to work on it. He's faced this sort of stuff before. He's been through heart break and bad communication, and everything turned out alright. Blitzo is so much better than his Dad, worth fixing things with, and as much of an asshole as Blitzo is, he has never left him behind like Chaz has, so Moxxie has little trouble deciding that he's going to try to talk about the issue and make things better. The drugs leave their system and he does try. He wants his relationship with Blitzo to be better.

Blitzo spends several minutes verbally attacking himself and beating the shit out of his own emotions. All the hinting in previous episodes that something is deeply wrong with him (RoboFizz accusing him of not being loved by anyone, the subtle drops about his sister, hinting at a trauma-filled clown-centered past, etc.) Coms to a head and Blitzo can't run from any of it. All the fears and trauma he tries so hard to shove down attack him head on and he's forced to acknowledge that what he wants most (affection, someone to stay) He doesn't think he deserves. So when the drugs leave his system, he shoves that shit back down and goes out of his way to support the people in his life, begging them to stay without ever letting anyone know how badly he is doing. His bad trip did not end with an epiphany or a resolution that things can be better. It ended with the crippling fear that if he isn't good enough, everyone he loves will leave him.

Blitzo doesn't sing. He never sings in this series. The Blitzo singing in Moxxie's trip isn't him. Different voice actor too, right? I think? He has a few talking lines in other songs, but, WHAT IS THE DUET IN FULL MOON GOING TO BE? Is he actually going to sing?

I'm on Blitzos trip now. He's dressed like a clown and everything is muddy and hard to see. His psyche is so BAD. He responds to Moxxie in his trip by screaming "Shut up!", he just wants to shove this shit down!

Climbing those stairs to Stolas cleans him up and puts him in clothing he is more comfortable in. He feels comfortable with Stolas, but, he thinks Stolas is pulling him on a leash, he can't fathom Stolas wanting anything more from him than a little plaything, which isn't really helped by Stolas's later words while threatening the humans.

The Blitzo in Moxxie's trip changes his burn scars into a mask. Obviously Blitzo isn't going to tell M&M about his scars or how they happened, but, I feel something about Moxxie just not knowing and changing that important part of Blitzo's trauma for the aesthetic of his trip. Moxxie DOESNT KNOW. He doesn't know. That isn't the point of his bad trip.

I wrote a story about Blitzo writing down his intrusive thoughts in a group chat of only him (like a diary) based off his part in this scene, and I don't know where I'm going with this sentence, I guess I just hadn't realized it was based off this song even though it is one of my most listened to songs of the season.

Eu não estou acompanhando mais B0rut0, só vendo alguns spoilers que aparece de vez em quando (e me deixando cada vez mais decepcionada com a história medíocre e satisfeita por ter abandonado), mas eu estive pensando sobre a atuação de Shikamaru como Hokage. Qual é a sua opinião sobre as ações dele como 8° Hokage? Honestamente, para mim, Shikamaru parece um Danzo um pouco mais agressivo e astuto ao mesmo tempo, e se for comparar com a nossa história mundial, Shikamaru seria um presidente republicano, de extrema-direita disfarçado de direita moderada, porque Shikamaru sabe lidar com política e é menos burro do que Trump, Milei (Argentina) ou Bolsonaro (Brasil)

I think Shikamaru's rule as 8th Hokage is abysmal which I definitely agree is more on the republican side. Shikamaru's reign is closest in line with Tobirama which we all know how that turned out, there was some good but hes the one who created hostility within the Uchiha clan from how he handled them after the 9 tails attack. Yes he didnt want another Madara to happen but by doing so he made the Uchiha resent them from being put under constant watch and scrutiny, they werent even allowed to help in the second 9 tails attack because they feared they would take over the 9 tails, which put the village in even more danger and caused even more casualties by not letting the Uchihas get involved just because they THOUGHT they might do something. If a gang of Uchihas jumped Obito and tamed Kurama themselves Kushina and Minato probably wouldnt have even died, but they were SO fearful of them POSSIBLY doing something [following Tobiramas mindset] that they ended up screwing themselves over in alot of ways and creating the very hostility they were trying to avoid.

Shikamaru is very much that kind of leader, from the very beginning he didnt trust Kawaki and was always at his throat for whatever petty reasons he could think of, accusing him of crimes he never even committed because he just ASSUMED he would just because he could even though hes done nothing but been on the villages side up till then. Yes Shikamaru wasnt entirely WRONG that it couldnt have all been an act to gain their trust but he shouldnt just ASSUME that to be the case right out the gate and be hostile with him before hes even sure of his betrayal.

Shikamaru doesnt think twice about pimping out a kid to the enemy if its to the villages benefit, he pretends he doesnt mean to impose on his person feelings yet thats exactly what he did, he made a deal with Ada to trade Kawaki in exchange for her switching sides and told Kawaki to just deal with it and play nice not giving him any say in the matter and just deciding all of this on his own then springing it on him all at once, acting like hes sorry when he really isnt.

When Kawaki warns Shikamaru that he senses Momoshiki up to no good, instead of hearing him out he tries to emotionally manipulate him by using Narutos face when he killed Boruto to get him to stop, but this only made the situation worse as it just made Kawaki go talk to Naruto and Hinata directly to tell them what he plans to do out of respect for that being their son, if Shikamaru had listened to him instead of guilt tripping him then Naruto and Hinata never would've gotten thrown to the shadow realm because Kawaki's focus was on Boruto, Shikamaru is the one who brought Naruto into it making Kawaki go confront him instead since like Shikamaru said, thats his son, so its only right for Kawaki to go discuss it with him before he does it since he knows how much its gonna hurt him when he does.

Up till that point Shikamaru had been extremely hostile, insensitive, and downright aggressive with Kawaki, which only made him already feeling like he didnt belong and wasnt accepted even worse because even tho the Uzumaki fam, team 7, and team 10 all told him this was his home and considered him their family/friend, it didnt mean anything when you had ppl like Shikamaru at his throat making him feel the opposite.

In 79 Shikamaru shows his biggest display of incompetence by asking Kawaki what he did, and when he doesnt get the answer he wants to hear he just calls him an irredeemable bastard when once again, he doesnt even know what he did yet and just automatically assumes the worst because of his own bias against him, the same way Tobirama had a bias against Uchiha's except for the few he liked like Kagami.

Shikamaru has seen first hand how much Naruto means to him, he even has a whole convo with Amado about how overly attached Kawaki is to Naruto, so for him to even THINK Kawaki brought ANY harm to Naruto is just straight up ridiculous and 0 IQ thinking, which is beyond OOC for a character whos IQ is over 200.

Instead of immediate hostility he should've been asking about what Kawaki meant earlier, why did he think Momo was up to no good? what did he sense? and defuse the situation by telling him along the lines of that he KNOWS he would never hurt Naruto so he knows whatever he did that Naruto is safe and ask him WHAT exactly he did, then Kawaki might've been more inclined to tell him since he isnt just downright attacking him and not listening to him. Its been shown time and time again that when people listen to Kawaki he is usually cooperative, but if your hostile and accusatory towards him then he just gives back that same energy, and Shikamaru has been hostile towards him since day one so theres no surprise he didnt answer him when he asked what he did to Naruto.

Then finally the biggest incompetence on Shikamaru's behalf is literally relying on Ada instead of his own sensory team, he doesnt KNOW Ada at all and has no way of proving if what she says is true or false because hes not even having it double checked. He has the Yamanaka just be human telephones when they can literally sift through someones entire brain to gain all kinds of intel and see if their lying, the Inuzuka and Aburame could iterally track down Boruto and Sasuke easily if he wanted em to, he aint need to rely on Ada but he did, he should've had Ino and the rest of the Yamanaka pick Ada and Amado's brains to see if they were tellin the truth and if they refused then take that as them having somethin to hide.

Shikamaru doesnt even question Ada telling him that Boruto [Kawaki] killed Naruto, he just believes it even though that doesnt align with anything he knows about Kawaki up till that point, him killing Naruto never should've even been a thought as a possibility, he should've immediately thought 'No that cant be right...hes way too attached to Naruto to ever do that'

No amount on omnipotence counters hard evidence, Sasuke realized it when he saw Boruto with his headband and sensed Momo inside him, Amado realized it when he saw Kawaki's enhancements and knew they were done by him, so Shikamaru should've realized that Boruto [Kawaki] would've NEVER killed Naruto under any circumstances no matter WHAT Ada said, he should not have just taken her word on it, on ANYTHING without sufficient proof.

The fact that he trusted Ada and Amado faster than he did Kawaki, which was never, is absolutely astonishing and a real showcase of his bias towards on particular person. Notice how even as the 8th Hokage now he makes NO exceptions for Boruto, yet Amado still gets to be active in a lab just under survellience now AND allowed there alone with a kid, and Ada can just roam freely around the village despite her charm ability enchanting everyone who sees her which just puts more and more ppl in the village on her side that'll do whatever she says now if she ever choses to go against Konoha, they cant just attack civilians so it'll be a very difficult situation to navigate.

Atleast I will say Amado is being watched, but Ada is walking around unescorted with zero restrictions, yet when Kawaki first came to Konoha Shikamaru wanted to lock him away in a secure location because they didnt know who he was or what he might do, but Amado can just get away with being under survellience and Ada doesnt get anything and is just free to do whatever she wants, but Kawaki even BREATHED funny or acted even a little outta pocket or hell if he even just THOUGHT Kawaki was up to no good this is how he was treated.

Keep in might this is AFTER he just got finished telling Naruto not long ago that Kawaki was justified and that this was something Boruto asked for to protect everyone.

This is the one and only time he defends Kawaki but then he backtracks immediately, showing that he didnt actually mean what he said but was just trying to get Naruto to act to take down the threat, but in all honesty Shikamaru saw Kawaki as a monster who killed Naruto's son and would do anything to achieve his own goals, rather than being just a misguided kid doing what he genuinely believes is right for the good of Naruto and Konoha even if it means killing Boruto against their wishes. Kawaki actually has more of the Hashirama mindset, which kinda explains why him and Shikamaru clash similar to how Hashirama and Tobirama would over their differing ideologies.

Tobirama was strict and tough and had clear obvious biases that resulted in alot of things going badly because is his extreme methods of trying to prevent it actually making what he feared happen.

Hashirama was more chill and open minded, he didnt have a bias and wanted to Uchiha to be treated equally, he even wanted Madara, an Uchiha, to be the villages first Hokage but he was denied the position because of peoples bias towards the Uchiha and they all preferred Hashirama and named him the first instead despite his protests. But in the end Hashirama as much as he loved Madara as his dear friend he made it clear that be it his friend, brother, or even his own child, he will not hesitate to kill anyone who is a threat to the village.

Kawaki has the Hashirama mindset, he will kill anyone, even his own brother for the sake of Naruto and Konoha, as cruel and as heartless as that sounds it is not wrong, Madara was a threat to the village and couldnt be reasoned with so no matter how much Hashirama didnt WANT to do it he had to kill him, the same applies to Kawaki with Boruto, no matter how much he doesnt WANT to do it he HAS to because of the danger he poses to Naruto and the village that nobody but him is taking seriously and willing to act on.

THIS is what he does to Kawaki just for thinking he did something bad

And this is what he does seeing Boruto literally taken over by Momoshiki and helping Kawaki escape

Literally no reaction at all, not even a mention of wtf just happened, just 'everybody go get Kawaki!' like mf did you not just see Momoshiki casually take over and help him escape? why is this ok with you!?

But again its just another prime display of his bias towards Kawaki. But the biggest show of his bias is his response to what Kawaki did which at this point he still didnt know WHAT exactly it was that he did.

This baffoon puts out an execution order ON A CHILD that he doesnt even know what crime he even committed yet, he could kill Kawaki for something as tame as what he did, which is sending him to a timeless dimension safe and sound, and Shikamaru is having him executed as if he committed genocide like Itachi. The fact that he doesnt even KNOW what Kawaki did yet is so quick to kill him speaks volumes of just how biased he is against him.

Because no matter WHAT Boruto did or WHAT harm he caused Shikamaru NEVER held it against him or gave him any punishment, hell he literally gave Boruto the hero treatment AFTER HE STABBED SASUKE'S EYE AND NEARLY KILLED THEM ALL but Kawaki who LITERALLY SAVED THEIR LIVES got nothing.

And now 3 years later hes still ignoring any arguments of his innocence because he is just THAT BIASED that he's willing to not question ANYTHING just so he doesnt have to let up on the kill order. No amount of arguements from Sarada and Sumire were enough to sway him, but now that AMADO is ALSO saying something now he wanna listen? the bias he has for which enemies he listens to and which he doesnt is insane.

So you wanna know my thoughts on Shikamaru as Hokage? I think hes abysmal, he has such a vast and highly efficient sensory team that he doesnt even use and relies on the enemies word over all else, the Yamanaka are no more than human telephones who have literally listened to Sarada and Sumire's entire conversation about omnipotence yet never reported it. Shikamaru is Hokage yet Kawaki is out there danm near running the village by himself and ordering Shikamaru around like hes the kage, which just shows even more of his bias since he thinks he's Boruto, so if Boruto was as bold as Kawaki is he could run Konoha WHILE still under the threat of being taken over by Momoshiki with zero opposition and everybody would just fall in line. I dont think Shikamaru stans understand just how hypocritical and incompetent this makes him look.

He has the biggest piece of hard evidence to prove if Kawaki is really Boruto or not and thats the shut down function Amado mentioned, the hardest evidence that Shikamaru absolutely CANT deny because Amado literally TOLD him this is the key to settling any doubts once and for all but Shikamaru never even considered it because he really WANTS to kill this kid, he doesnt want anything that could prove his innocence no he wants him DEAD and he refuses to question anything that might give him a reason not to.

All in all Shikamaru is a buffoon and a disgrace to the Hokage seat, hes like Tobirama if Tobirama was completely incompetent in everything he did, and Kawaki is like Hashirama but to a greater extreme, this is explains why him and Shikamaru clash but that in no way justifies his blatant bias towards Kawaki and the hypocrisy on what lines count as treason worthy of execution and what can be excused.

I dont blame you for dropping the sequel, I myself wish I dropped it earlier WAY before I got this far but now that I've stuck by it this long I might as well finish it, so to anyone who drops this sequel Im here to tell you ya dodged a bullet because this is some steamin hot GARBAGE. Now I see why Kishimoto didnt wanna do a sequel, because he had no idea what to do with it and neither did the ppl he left in charge of it. Its a hot mess and he knows it and thats why he refuses to acknowledge its existence and is only around for other series or just Naruto related stuff. Anybody who believes that man is writing when he wont even SPEAK on it is beyond delusional, idc what any third party says, if the man himself aint comin out an sayin it then Im not buyin it, his name isnt even on the cover as writer, just creator/supervisor. Just stop it.

everyday i realize more and more how similar c!sapnap is to c!happyduo and it scares me, esp with how strained their relationship is.

like imagine being extremely jealous of ur best friend's son over him making a birthday present for him. and then that best friend and his son have tried killing eachother multiple times.

not to derail the post into c!happyfamily dynamics but i think c!bad genuinely wants c!sapnap on his side still. like he's tried inviting him to the badlands before and failed, but the way he's acted towards c!sapnap as of recent reads very much as "awkward morally fucked up dad wants to reconcile with morally fucked up son"

meanwhile c!skeppy just seems to look down on c!sapnap in general and doesnt claim responsibility for his actions. everytime c!skeppy has mentioned c!sapnap it's been in a negative way that insinuates that c!skeppy is a better person than him (he is NOT and the fact that c!bad doesn't stop c!skeppy from doing this is. questionable ..... actually hes never even disagreed now that i think about it wtf)

like during the first bd island stream, while c!happyduo was arguing, a dono told c!skeppy that now they understood why c!sapnap had anger issues; because c!happyduo raised him. c!skeppy then denies this, and says that c!sapnap is just "weird" which... yeah no bitch ur lying you literally hate children.

and yeah cc!bad has pointed out that c!skeppy being involved in c!sapnaps childhood is something he doesnt know... but honestly. im thinking it probably will be given that cc!skeppy has liked c!happyfamily fanart meaning he at least approves of the concept? also it just makes more sense with any potential backstory c!happyduo has, they literally could be centuries of years old so it would be a little weird for c!skeppy to be out of c!bads life for ~20 years only to come back on the dreamsmp

and i just realized i was supposed to talk about their similarities.

mainly it comes down to their worldviews and ideologies? c!sapnap is very fucking weird and believes he is a good person that has never done anything wrong. im serious he literally told c!michael and c!eryn that he has never done anything wrong on the server, which is a fucking lie and signifies that he doesn't grasp how bad his actions were. (this was in dreams jailbreak stream btw hahah)

he also has scarily black and white thinking, he literally accuses c!michael of being a fucked up person (a descriptor he used to describe C!DREAM only a minute or so prior) just because they had differing opinions (and when c!michael actually had valid points, even if he wasnt fully informed of all contexts of the situation).

he hasnt stopped killing pets at all and doesnt even care about it, he basically forced mexican dream to get high to get his trauma out of him for information, etc. etc.

c!sapnap in general is pretty much an asshole to the people he doesnt care about.

but even then he is an asshole to the people he cares about at times. he lied to c!george about c!dream, he's betrayed c!dream before he was abusive, he's tried killing one of c!punz pets and when c!punz got mad he hypocritically told him that it was "just a horse" when he's the same guy who started a war over a miscommunication about a panda, he betrayed c!bads trust which is where their current relationship strain comes from anyways, etc. etc.

with the only exceptions being his fiances . ig they ground him in a way because he literally hasnt lashed out at them or intentionally hurt them in any way which is interesting

c!happyduo are very similar.

c!happyduo seems to think that they're in the right, no matter what. neither of them seem to feel guilt for their actions (sure c!bbh apologizes but all of his actions afterwards contradict his apologies which signifies a lack of remorse), they're very vindictive and will come up with unreasonable plans to take vengeance against someone (haha nothing like c!skeppy getting disturbingly excited over c!bads plan to basically exile arc c!foolish)

but with eachother it's... complicated. theyve definitely hurt eachother and manipulated eachother but that was because of the stress induced by the egg arc and its trauma on them. the thing is, as of rn, c!bad is very much afraid to hurt c!skeppy and is scared that he will leave him, while c!skeppy is afraid that c!bad will lie to him and betray him.

ironically they have the same fear more or less

but before that they never hurt eachother. like how c!sap just hasnt... hurt his fiances (intentionally) . its interesting

More luxu rambelings???

I just can't bring myself to let luxu go from canon BC I just love him sm. I know people want him to just be bad, no redemption arc but my middle name is redemption au so obviously I'm doing one for kingdom hearts

lol i say i love him then proceed to torture him for several paragraphs

I'm in the " people deserve to be able to redeem themselves " and " you are under no obligation to forgive someone for their actions" can and should coexist camp. ive applied this in this au to xemnas, ansem and even Young xehanort ( ill rambel about him later but tldr he doesnt go back to the past at the end of kh3 like hes meant to, a replica of him does purely because i wanted to keep him in the future but ill elaborate on the story reason for it later.)

Post kh4 luxu definitely falls closer to the " no forgiveness" end of that scale. AU Xemnas worked hard and eventually endeared himself to people, even kairi who he kinda got killed. ok maybe hes not totally forgiven, maybe he never will be but he's at least accepted by the majority. Ansem has his own little neich and a casual but friendly relationship with riku, provided he doesnt talk to much. YMX is acting like a kid, finally having the normal youth that was ripped away from him by MOM . Luxu on the other hand just sort of....gives up. He's not su#idal or anything he just sort of stops caring. the norts try to bring him round, show him if they can do it he can too but... He's broken beyond measure, he doesn't have the strength of will to try any more and loses a sense of self/ego. If someone tells him to do something, he does it, if they tell him to go , he leaves without protest. im not even sure hed defend himself if attacked, he probably just stand there and take it or maybe try to run? after going through this nightmare existance for the last 250+ years , for him to be the only forteller left ,for all the misery he caused only for it to mean nothing in the end is soul crushing. needless to say his sense of self-worth is lower than dirt. Luxu really seems to believe he deserves this dogs abuse for what hes done.

I cant imagine how lonely he was before kh4 but now after its all over and hes burned every bridge hes ever walked, hes completly desolate and renounced by everyone. worst part is, its kinda his own fault.

i think he tries to go back to radiant garden, if for no other reason than getting yelled at by people you know is preferable to being compltly abandoned and outcast. he feels a little comfort from being in the castle but the radient garden gang are none to happy to see him. Ienzo is pleasant if short, surprised to see him . the others however are not, ranging from dismissive, rude and cold attitudes from even and Aeleus right up to outright hostile and violent from Dilan. Dilan is normally pretty calm all things considered but when he sees Luxu standing before Lord Ansem, asking for forgiveness and to stay with them for a little its fucking on sight . Aeleus escorts him out before Dilan can REALLY hurt him but not before reminding him he isnt welcome there anymore. He accuses him of just apologising to assuage his guilt and not because he's actually sorry for all the shit he put them through, which isn't untrue but he really is sorry if you would just hear him out for 5 seconds . Understandably Aeleus shuts the door in his face. He might want to apologise but they dont want to or arent ready to hear it and he knows trying to force that on them would do more damage than good .Luxu still hangs around castle town for a few days licking his wounds in both a literal and figurative sense before deciding that the others are right to be angry and gives up on them.

(just imagine that simpsons clip with bart and lisa "you can actually pinpoint the second his heart rips in half")

whats even worse about all this is that i imagine post kh4, luxu has no keyblade. think about it, all the other fortellers have their own keyblades but luxu gets the master of masters old one. its already covered in scratches by the time he gets it so it cant be made from his heart like all other keyblades, it has to be MoM's. and since MoM is gone now in this au, that means his keyblade is gone too. so lets sumarize. luxu has : no friends, no home, no keyblade and no purpose. i imagine he's feeling pretty low

but because im horrible im going to make it worse.

You remember the subplot of maleficent looking for the book of proficies? well after all this she still hasnt found it but she does now know Xigbar is luxu and who luxu really is. So, understandably she decides to ask him a few friendly questions on the subject by which i mean string him up and slash him with vines until he tells her what she wants to hear.

Listen ive been talking consistantly about how broken and at a loss luxu is but if theres one thing to bring back his defiant streak its this bs from maleficent. homeboy has been holding his tongue for nearly 3 centuries, hes not going to break for a dramatic witch and her pet furry.

Frustrated with her lack of success maleficent takes him back to radient garden and threatens to chuck him off a cliff into an abyss or maybe the water treatment turbines. Luxu is still defiant, even weak and bleeding from her interrogation. He doesn't want to die particularly, he's never read the book of profocies but she doesn't know that. if it means fucking with maleficent then he's happy to go and nip her dumb plans in the bud.

now in my little headcanon its my oc shep whos looking out for him. she has a similar backstory, being burdened with a great task, much older than her physical appearance would suggest so she feels a little kinship with luxu, despite how he's hurt her but for the sake of keeping this somewhat canon compliant so other people can enjoy it lets say dilan takes her place.

Sorry to the luxu stans out there I'm just whumping this man for his life.

Just when it seems like she's about have Pete fling him over the edge something bonks Pete in the head and clatters to the floor. Luxu might be weak from injury or bloodloss but he's not stupid, he might have to crawl but he's getting away from these assholes, kicking Pete in the shins for good measure. Absolutely no prizes for guessing who it is that's come to rescue him.

The radiant garden gang cannot stand maleficent. Ok they gave up their hearts but SHE was the one to drag radiant garden into the darkness, squatting in their home like a frog for 10 years. Dilan is still mad as hell but he's also not just about to sit there and let that arrogant witch have her way. They can't beat her, not even with the 5 of them but thankfully she's not looking for a fight. She and Pete retreat for now, promising to come back for luxu and some answers. Even Even takes that shit personally and is ready to throw hands with her if she ever comes back. Luxu is just sort of sat in stunned silence even as he's ushered into the castle to have his wounds treated.

Things are a little bit tense but they can't exactly leave luxu to die from infection or exposure. Until someone makes a joke Like " damn even didn't know you had it in you" followed by some bravado from a usually fairly risk adversed Even, and a little alughter all round. Even Dilan has a small smile and for maybe just a moment everything feels normal again for luxu like maybe there's a little hope after all.

on that topic i think i will call this the golden au after Kintsugi, the art of repairing broken things with gold. It's not the same as before but the breaks are part of its beauty

There's a quote I'm fond of that is "

You don't need another Human Being to make your life complete, but let's be honest. Having your wounds kissed by someone who doesn't see them as disasters In your soul, but cracks to put their love into, Is the most calming thing In this World." And damn if luxu doesnt appreciate having a little love poured into his cuts...even if it is followed by stinging antiseptic and some admonishing words.

This is an interesting question because it really varies depending on the person. Who she's talking too dictates the things she wants to say to them.

The little truths shes afraid to share. Katherine struggles with vulnerability and a large portion of that is that shes conditioned herself not to be in order to survive. The rest of it is that when shes shown vulnerability to the MF gang every single one of them have strung her up for it. Whether it's calling her a liar, accusations, telling her she isn't capable of love- all of these things have a lot more of an effect on her than I think they bargain for and then ultimately end up perpetuating the behavior they hate seeing because they teach her its USELESS to change. If she tries to be good she doesn't get anything out of it in terms of positive reinforcement. So if she gets it thrown in her face when shes bad AND when she's good whats the point of being good?

Why go through all the effort to change when no one cares either way?

Stefan really set the tone for Katherine being afraid to be vulnerable the way he constantly spat in her face every time she said she came back for him, and that she loves him. Its why she point blank lied to Damon and then never tried to back track that verbally. Because that's what she would tell Damon. That she lied, and she did love him, she still loves him.

She would tell Elena that they didn't have to be enemies.

She would tell Bonnie that she deserves better.

She would tell Caroline that she is proud of her.

She would tell Matt that he deserves so much more than what he's been given.

She would tell Tyler that he has the potential to be a great pack leader if he pulls his head out of his ass.

She would tell Elijah that she feels lost and she doesnt know who she is.

She would tell Nadia that she thought about her often, and shes sorry she didn't get to say goodbye.

There are a lot of secrets that Katherine keeps, a lot of things she doesnt say. None of them know the real Katherine, largely because none of them care to look. She isn't the heartless bitch they've cast her as, the heartless bitch she's had to pretend to be. You'd think that the Salvatore brothers of all people would recognize a mask when they see one. Maybe they just didn't care enough to look.

Katherine is full of things she can't say to anyone because shes scared. Thats why her hair is so big. It's full of secrets.

tomura is nicer than you think he is

people are allowed to write characters however makes them happy, but i wish there were an equal amount of people who paid attention to his canon characterization too. i wish i could find a fic or two that doesn't make him a tsundere (he's not one - though i understand the appeal) or weirdly mean to his friends (he's usually very chill!!)

he let toga hold a knife to his neck. he let spinner grab him by the collar of his shirt and yell in his face. he let dabi tell him he didn't give a shit about his tragic backstory and wasn't gonna stick around to help directly. he let twice tackle him to the ground and all he had to say was "wow, you multiplied yourself! good job!"

so, heres a long post explaining where canon tomura is much different from fanon tomura - mostly in terms of how he treats his team, his general understanding of other people, and his actually very mellow attitude. ft. lots of manga panels as evidence

when twice tells him he can't duplicate the bullets like he wants him to, tomura doesn't lash out or berate him, even though he's visibly disappointed. (and honestly? the fact that tomura is willing to accept that twice won't duplicate himself "for personal reasons" and is never shown pressuring him to or chewing him out over it, is pretty telling in itself.)

tomura actually has pretty good people-senses. he knew toga held a knife to his throat because she wasnt sure she could trust him anymore, and he immediately made himself vulnerable and assured her (and twice) that he was acting in their best interest.

he knew how to act casual when uraraka caught him with midoriya. he knows how to be polite to people he likes or wants something from. he calls stain "daisenpai" (translated as “sir” below) which, to my understanding, is EXTREMELY respectful and very specifically means tomura is openly admitting hes BELOW stain in terms of experience and ranking. (I'm also pretty sure this means he thinks of being a villain like a job, which is pretty cute)

also, some other times he reassures his team on-screen,

the image above has always been so striking to me. twice is probably expecting some scolding and is quick to promise he was being careful (after all, he did get fired over a single mistake before), and tomura just... immediately believes him. he doesn't accuse him of lying, he doesnt berate him for being careless or dumb or anything. tomura just believes that he did he his best, and assures him that, yeah, it was probably one of their quirks.

in fact, his actual scolding or other responses when his allies have genuinely struck a nerve with him have always been pretty mellow, too. i dont remember a time hes lashed out at or insulted any of his friends (besides kurogiri, but like, theyre Close) the way i often see represented in fanworks.

when he kidnaps bakugou- which seems to have partially been done out of a genuine desire to help him, in whatever fucked up way tomura thought was best (you have to keep in mind that tomura genuinely thinks what afo put him through was, like, good)-

- he immediately starts calling him "bakugou-kun" and trying to reach him in a way he thinks he’ll relate to. he subtly compliments him, tries appealing to what he figures bakugous struggles are, and just generally tries to make him feel understood (which may not necessarily be kind in context, but that sort of manipulation requires you to have some understanding of what other peoples motives, thoughts and feelings are, which is pretty good groundwork for kindness.)

he's very open about it when he likes someone or is impressed by them (you know, the exact opposite of a tsundere.) whether they're a hero, or a child, or a part of his team; he'll compliment and praise people to their faces, even in front of others. he did this as early as USJ. he also didnt seem to mind the league seeing his blatant adoration and attachment to afo during kamino or the aftermath.

i know its been debated as to whether tomura actually cares about his teams desires, or if hes just using them as a means to an end, but personally i think he really does care. there have been multiple times where he took his teams wants into consideration even when it didnt immediately benefit him. hell, when the liberation army surrendered and offered their resources to the LoV, tomura's first thought was his friends’ wants.

tomura has calmed down A LOT since the beginning of the series, and even back then i think he was calmer than people give him credit for. and you have to keep in mind that, after all tomura's been through, after everything he's been taught about humanity and the world, after afo practically tried to torture all his empathy and affection for his fellow people out of him, tomura is still understanding and patient and good to his friends. maybe that's the bare minimum for people who were raised in a traditional way, but that's not what happened to tomura, and i think it's very meaningful that he still has those traits despite it all.

and I'd love to see this reflected in more fanworks and meta about him! he's such an incredibly complex and well-made character, so it's disappointing to see how often he gets reduced to some very basic ~evil~ traits that he doesn't even have to begin with.

Style of gowns/outfits I think the Winx would wear to balls, red carpet events, galas, formal public appreances and other media heavy/important/noble people heavy events;

🔥Bloom🔥

Bloom doesn't intentionally dress to stand out, she just happens to like loud bright colors and texture in her gowns. This might be an odd headcanon, but after watching the show I just got the biggest vibe that Bloom loves outfits with texture? And good for her. Bloom's dresses are probably chosen by Stella and Bloom picks out her favorite one for the first year or so, before she starts developing her own style. Bloom mostly wears wedges, but she wouldn't shy away from heels. Her jewelry is always a little less than it should be, but Bloom just seems like the type person who wouldn't like a lot jewelry. I think that she might a small love of like girlhood princess dresses, like the ones she used to see in her story books as a child. I just think she'd see a dress like her favorite story book character wore and jump at the chance to wear it, making her style look a little childish at times. Yes, this is my defense of the Eraklyon dress. It's ugly as sin, and I can definitely see Bloom absolutely loving it. Her style is a little removed from the type of events she's attending, but so inoffensive that no one really notices.

☀️Stella🌙

I'm sure we all know Stella's style by now. Strappy, cut out, form fitting, attention grabbing, and always in season. Stella is obviously never seen in the same dress twice, and designs half of her dresses herself. She always attracts the most attention of the Winx bc duh. I think Solaria has different standards for dress compared to other places, so Stella isn't dressed at all provocatively for Solaria but she is for everywhere that isn't Solaria. But like? That's not stopping her from wearing what ever she looks best in. Despite how attention grabbing her usual outfits are she also knows how to tone it down when appropriate while still being eye catching. Stella absolutely sets fashion trends all over the universe, then sets a new one a month later. Definitely wears heels and impractical outfits because looking this good requires effort. Her jewelry is never overboard, bc she's the part of this ensemble that shines. Has a life time of media training and uses this and her provocative dress style to keep attention of her less media savvy friends. Hooks up all the girls with cute outfits when they have no clue what to wear. Slowly winning a contest with Tecna about who can wear the highest and skinniest heels without tripping.

💐Flora💐

I think Flora values comfort the most out of the girls and has the most soft femme vibes. She definitely embraces her inner cottage core (my predictive text said lesbain...my phone ships Flora/Mirta) with her style. Her jewelry is much like Stella's, where its classy and understated. Probably gets accused of under dressing but since Flora is so subtly and terrifyingly passive aggressive when she feels like it that, when ever anyone tries to say something like that, they get politely verbally set on fire soon after. Flora gives big mature/older sister vibes, and these outfits extenuating these vibes. She still dresses cute, but her outfits wouldn't generally be out of place on someone more established than her. Also Flora is a huge wedges over heels girl, she just is. She kinda slips into the media as the unproblematic fave of the Winx Club. She's the least spoken about, but when she is spoken about it's always positive. Her style is unobtrusive, inoffensive, and doesnt demand attention. Just how she likes it. Flora is 100% not interested in entertaining people, seems exhausting. Being left alone during these events with an air of being "too mature" to engage in frivolous activities like small talk when in reality she's been day dreaming for the past hour suits her perfectly fine, thank you. She has no clue how Stella and Musa tolorate constantly dealing with people. She gets tired just watching them. Accidentally started a trend of super drapey outfits.

🧑‍💻Tecna🧑‍💻

The s1 dress for the Alfea ball is when Tecna's formal wear fucking peaked. This one is super simple. Structure, structure, structure! The more uncomfortable and hard to get into the outfit looks the more correct it is. Either her outfits are completely symmetrical or they very obviously asymmetrical, and their are no in-betweens for her. Her style definitely deviates from Zenith "dress properly for the occasion" bc she starts picking things with a lot of personality that stand out. Definitely starts some trends. Tecna is such a diva and we should let her live her dreams of looking powerful and outstanding. Wears tall heels a lot like Stella exclusively because she loves them, terrifies everyone by maintaining perfect balance. Tecna also probably has the most out there jewelry, simply bc it adds to the divaness of her looks. She probably has more Zenith looks, that look super gender neutral and androgynous (bc that's how I imagine Zenith style), but it's mixed in with her more personal looks. You cannot convince me that Tecna doesn't come to love fashion, like yeah she doesn't care for the events, but she likes the energy that comes with these outfits. Definitely has designed a couple of her own dresses with Stella's help, and is ecstatic about them. Tecna and Stella make up the "over dressed" team and neither of them are sorry.

🎶Musa🎶

These pictures aren't quite fancy enough but they have the right vibes so—Musa had such a distinct style in season one that she slowly lost over the course of the show, up untill the moment it was completely stolen in season four. Am I salty that Musa's season four outfit looks like something Stella would pick out for her? Forever and always. With my burning rage about Musa slowly losing her personality to look and act more like the rest of the girls in mind, I really wanted to keep Musa's old style in mind while also acknowledging her growing and changing. I think her arc was supposed to go from trying to be a "cool girl" and rejecting everything feminine to becoming more comfortable with herself and her femininity but honestly I wouldn't know. Musa would definitely stand out at any formal event, because by the time she's famous in post s3 she's become really confident and distinct and if you want her to show up somewhere you gotta accept how she dresses and that's that. Her style isn't exactly masculine but it isn't feminine either. Not in the gender neutral way I think Tecna would dress, but like in a blend of masculine and feminine fashion. She wears both flats and heels in equal measure, and tends to have some ultra fancy piercings going on instead of necklaces or rings. She definitely draws as much attention as Stella, but while Stella attracts attention for being the ideal of feminine beauty, Musa does the same for actively rejecting it. She definitely wears flats almost exclusively, not understanding why someone would tolorate that much pain for fashion. Probably gets a lot of shit for not dressing appropriately for the occasion but it's a part of her brand now and she refuses to stop.

🌊Aisha🌊

This is definitely my own headcanons, but from the way Aisha was presented she gives the vibe that she had straight up run away, and s3 was the first time she had seen her parents in a while. I feel like Aisha's explicit hatred of rigidity and being stifled would make her biased to clothes that are comfortable and moveable. She'd go between outfits with big encompassing skirts and showing her legs because both give her sufficient leg room. Mermaid skirts, despite how thematic they are, are a complete no go. Absolutely never, she gets anxious of too constricted. If she can run in the dress without fear of tripping, it definitely gets plus points in her mind. On that note, definitely wears flats over heels as often as she can. Aisha at most might wear some big earrings, but she's not a fan of necklaces. She likes rings tho. Despite her insistence of dressing for practically and better moment, Aisha never gets shit about the way she dresses. This is mostly because despite how much she hated all of the rules of her child she remembers enough of them to bend them in the right places and never cause a scandal. Is always the perfect amount of dressy for an occasion, the other girls envy her ablity to remind a media darling without avoiding spotlight like Flora or spending so much time on public appreances like Stella.

Icy's fashion is as intimidating as she is. Structured shoulders, high necks, and floor length skirts are staples in her "I'm taking over the world" closet and she definitely wears big heel'd boots to match. She also owns a bunch of dresses with capes but she is stuck in the eternal struggle of only wearing capes in her witch forms to make them stand out for being her best looks, or wearing them 24/7 bc she's that bitch. She's having the same struggle about her hair her iconic pointy tail. Currently battling Tecna for "most Diva look". Tecna is winning. Big earrings and necklaces if her neckline allows is. Icy always dresses to steal the show. Every now and then a news site will try and stir up buzz and be controversial by saying she's a fashion icon, and this gives her 7 more years of youth. Walks like she's on a run way.

🖤Darcy🖤

Unlike Icy, Darcy doesn't care about her imagine all that much, and unlike Stormy, Darcy isn't super in love with a intense personal aesthetic. Darcy likes being comfortable and has an eye for fashion. Either dresses in fancy comfortable clothing if the event is smaller, or goes full Queen of Darkness if she's intent on making a statement. Goes a little intense with the jewelry, especially earrings and rings, though. She just kinda loves them, and they don't ruin the matching choker look her and the other Trix tend to have going on.

⚡Stormy⚡

Stormy's normal outfit and witch outfit already give me party girl/baddie vibes and events like these are just a chance for her to go all in on her aesthetic. Idk how to describe Stormy's fashion outside of "I wear what ever I want and I'll good good doing it". Skirts are an absolute must, her legs will not be constricted. Absolutely the flashiest of the Trix and is unintentionally warring with Stella for the most eye catching outfit. Neither of them are winning. Has Aisha's distaste for constricting clothing and doesn't understand how Darcy actually likes mermaid dresses. Her heels are sharp enough to stab people with. As they should.

Now i know in the OG au Emmet becomes Ingos warden but now there are two of them. I imagine Emmet probably helps Ingo with keeping the zoroarks at bay but i also dont think the people are going to be as accepting of the hisuin form. Sure Irida (i honestly dont know if im spelling that right i just call her irritation or irritable) knows that Emmet is good but convincing the masses is different. Would you still have Emmet become his warden? Or maybe Adam (wtf was the rest?) tries to claim that zoroark as diamond clan. “There are two its ment to keep things balanced between the clans” or something. Emmet probably openly rejects the idea of a warden. “I am Emmet all i need is my brother!” Oh oh lord im thinking about it now holdmy beer (crap i gotta google adams full name for this)

Adaman decided to take matters into his own hands. Hes a clan leader and its about time they stopped waisting time discussing this. Clearly almighty Sinnoh sent two for a reason. That reason is because there are two clans. Its clear as day. So he sets off to find the Zoroark. He finds Emmet around Lady Sneaselers den, not thathe dares barge in. To his luck the Zoroark in wuestion actually approached him! Quite a good sign, no time wasted indeed!

Right before that of course Ingo and Lady Sneaseler had know of his approach. Ingo was venting a little about the whole situation. They dont need anyone following them around and getting into their business. Not to mention Ingo has his own warden duties! He doesnt want to add more by having to pretend to be a warden himself. So Emmet decided to take matters into his own hands(claws?) and just said be would deal with it. Oh Ingo you should have stopped him

So Emmet walks up to Adaman. Towers over him menacingly. Adaman feeling the pressure a little starts his lil speech he prepared. Emmet just stands there waiting unfazed. Once Adaman finished he looks to the Zoroark with determination and hope. Emmet almost cridged. “I am Emmet, i do not need a warden. All i need is my brother!” Adaman.exe has stopped responding. Sneaseler laughing her ass off while Ingo face paws (~w*) Much to his credit Adaman recovers rather quickly “I understand but a warden would only be there to help you. And even this brother of yours!” Wow give the man some applause, he just recovered from a talking pokemon in record time. “I said NO and that is all i have to say on it! Neither me nor my brother require your wardens nor do either of us want one. Good-bye” and Emmet just climbs back into the denn. Leaving the man to struggle with a rejection that stung as much as his childhood sweethearts.

I could definitely see accusations going around when Emmet is seen near the new noble black zoroark, but also the idea of the clans bickering over having two zoroark nobles is another path to take so I'm gonna have to add one of those plot points to the next part of the story.
