♡ cater would take a look at your notebook simply because he was curious. he knows that it's not a good thing to do and he respects your privacy, but come on, your drawings are so cute, please let him see them! but then he opens your notebook and sees.. this. he sees a small doodle of a guy that looks a lot like him and it's.. um.. surrounded by hearts?

♡ cater wants to think that it's just a coincidence that this guy looks so much like him, maybe it's just your art style, haha.. though a small part of him wants to believe that this really is him. but why did you draw so many hearts too? maybe you just thought they were cute and decided to add them? surely there's no deeper meaning to any of this..

♡ he tries his best to forget what he saw, it's not a big deal, it's just a random doodle that he saw in your notebook, it's not him. it can't be him, right? i mean.. if it was him, that would mean you most likely have a crush on him. and he just can't imagine you falling in love with him. why would you even think of drawing him? nah, that's just not possible.. though his heart does beat a bit faster when he's thinking about it.

♡ oh, it looks like you forgot your notebook in class. there's no need to worry though, because trey will bring it back to you! he's so kind and caring, isn't he? okay, let him just take it and.. oh, it looks like it's open actually. well, that would be rude of him to read it, so he's just gonna- wait, is that him? trey wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that this guy isn't supposed to be him, his vision is not the best after all, but.. he still can't help but feel like this is actually a drawing of him.

♡ he won't ask you about it, he will just simply bring that notebook back to you, like he planned to. he doesn't want you to know that he saw that drawing and also, he has no idea how he'd prove that it wasn't intentional and he didn't actually want to read your notebook. sorry, y/n, this man isn't always honest with you, even though he really hates lying to you.

♡ .. he has to admit that he thought that doodle was cute. he almost laughed because you only drew his glasses and didn't draw his eyes. and the hearts.. he has no idea why they're here, you probably just drew them to make the drawing look ever cuter. it almost looks like you have a crush on him or something.. you don't have one, right?

♡ this guy doesn't care about what's in your notebook. he looked at it only because he was bored, he had nothing to do, he didn't want to sleep (shocking, i know!) and then he saw your notebook lying on the floor. did it fall out of your backpack or something? he probably should bring it to you, even though he's too lazy to do that.. but again, it's not like he has anything else to do right now.

♡ .. now, what's this? this notebook is filled with doodles (you really don't pay much attention to classes, don't you?) and the one he's looking at right now looks a lot like him. your art style made him look too cute though, it's.. kinda gross. and what's with the hearts? ugh, you're so weird.. he shouldn't think too much about it.

♡ he brings the notebook back to you and doesn't say anything about seeing that one drawing, but he says that your art style is so cute that it makes him want to throw up. you just roll your eyes and thank him for the "compliment". right when you're about to leave though, you realize that it means he saw your drawings and you throw that notebook in his face. you sure hope he didn't see that drawing..

♡ your notebook isn't that interesting to him. really, he would look at it only so that he can bring it to you and say how irresponsible you are. your handwriting is so messy.. you've been drawing in class too. you're not just irresponsible, you're lazy too. he should go and find you already- wait.. now, vil is most likely wrong (and he hopes he is), but.. is that him?

♡ he sees a little doodle of him in your notebook surrounded by tiny hearts. something is telling him it really is him, like the hairstyle, the pomefiore dorm uniform.. but also, he wishes this drawing would be more detailed. like, no, y/n, he's not okay with simply having dots for his eyes. and where is his nose? where is his makeup? wait, maybe he's wrong and this isn't supposed to be him.. no, it really is him. he's not like other characters, he's not in denial.

♡ when he gives you your notebook back, he doesn't mention that drawing (and he doesn't understand why he didn't do it), but he tells you that if you're gonna draw in class again instead of paying attention, you should at least try working on your art style more. no, these cute little doodles won't do, if you have something more important to do instead of studying and working, it should look like something important. you just look at him and after a minute of silence you go ".. did you just call my doodles cute?".. okay, that's it, he's leaving.

♡ of course he would go through your notebook. of course he would. why? well.. he just wants to know more about you! he goes crazy when he sees it. your handwriting is so unique and beautiful! the way you take notes is so interesting! everything about your notebook is so aesthetically pleasing to him. he likes those little doodles you draw while taking notes too. they're so cute, so adorable, you're so creative! hm, now what do we have here..

♡ forgive him for this, but.. why does he feel like this little drawing is supposed to be him? like, this is definitely his hat. this is his haircut. this also looks like pomefiore dorm uniform.. oh my, it really is him! now excuse him, he's about to go JDHSJDNBSJHNDJDSKDSK 💖💓💗💞💕 HE LOOKS SO CUTE HERE!! you've done such a great job, how did you manage to draw him so well even though it's just a tiny doodle?

♡ yes, he will compliment your drawings when he finds you. no, he doesn't care if you go "WAIT, YOU READ MY NOTEBOOK??". yes, he did exactly that, y/n, give him a minute, this man wants to tell you how talented you are and how honored he is to be drawn by you. now, he has to go. oh, wait, he almost took your notebook with him- here it is.

♡ when you come back to get your notebook, you see this pathetic (affectionate or not) man lying on the floor and trying to hide how red his face is with his hands, but his hair turning pink gives everything away. you have no idea what happened here, so you just take your notebook and leave. maybe it's better not to ask him, it doesn't look like he will give you a proper answer right now anyway.

♡ like rook, he's unashamed to admit that he read your notebook. look, he was bored, okay? also he likes you and he always wanted to learn more about you, so <3 he would love your doodles a lot, they're so small, they're so silly! hehe, they say so much about your personality and you probably don't even realize it. but then he turns a page and.. he sees a drawing of him.

♡ like, he knows that this is him. he can feel it, okay, his intuition never fails him! it's because of his hairstyle. he recognized himself because of the hairstyle he looks so cute in your art style, he can't stop smiling when he looks at that drawing. oh, wait, you added some hearts too.. haha, does this mean that you have a crush on him? you're so adorable. well, lucky for you, he likes you back~

♡ you find him hanging upside down as always and reading your notebook. you tell him to give it back to you and even though he really wants to play with you, he agrees and you get your notebook back. but later that day, while doing homework, you notice that one page is missing. if you're not wrong, it was a page with that drawing of lilia.. you really hope that lilia won't find it, you just know that he won't leave you alone if that happens.

have you ever talked about the origins of your sona/her design inspirations before? ive always really loved her design and i like hearing about how nice character designs come to be

here is the full tale

she started off as a mere picrew years ago

and then people drew fanart of that design whenever i started streaming (like this retro mimi model @catastrothy made)

and then at some point i thought "hm wouldn't it be cool if i paid an artist to make her design better" and then i approached noted good local artist @cnmchn and we went back and forth on some stuff and She were born proper

here is some other behind the scenez

hair accessories were considered at one point but then we thought of the ミ earrings and i just colored in one of her streaks black lmao

final design ended up using a combination of outfit elements from our two examples, rip to alt universe skirt spats and kneesocks short braid loose hoodie long shirt ribs mimi (she will be missed) (i should draw that sometime)

anyways thats all. thats da mimi roundup. sure hope read mores function on this site

uh. riamu failgirl, kumbhira granblue, we almost stole astolfo's haircut sans hair vents (though I think it was actually edward elric who made me think 'braid'), vampy granblue. as for the tenets of her design i just wanted a cute, colorful, energetic, annoying, smug, punchable little beast to match my vibe. her fashion sense is like the complete opposite of mine tho lmao this little freak dresses in this skimpy summery crop top and short shorts getup and shit meanwhile i'm a jeans-all-year and longsleeves/hoodie at all times kinda bitch. at least she still melts in the heat like i do

anyways i figure i may as well dump some silly canon stuff here too:

she's a being from what she says is 'the hell that froze over' (because it sounds cool), in actuality it's probably something more like a frozen-over planet with some level of aquatic life under the ice.

at a base level, she's kinda like... if a slimegirl was a crab? like, she's not made out of slime it's still Meat Stuff but it's definitely amorphous and should usually be contained within a thick carapace on the exterior (so when fully shelled, lookin like some kinda scary lookin pointy bone demon). she claims to have lost hers or that it hasn't grown in yet or some such (hence she only has the horn covering)

anyways. her inside meat being amorphous = limited shapeshifting ability, so she somehow ended up on Earth and is posing as a humanoid and having a ton of fun eating and smoking and breaking stuff. but she still fuckin' hates the sun and heat

other fun facts:

loves meat, milk, sweet stuff, clothes, sleeping, swimming, video james (bad at them), money

hates spicy stuff, hot weather, working, people as stubborn as she is, waiting

i'm torn on when her birthday should be. officially it's technically 5/21, but 3/3 would be cute...

believes drinking milk will help grow her shell in

has a strong sixth sense due to having similar organic function to ampullae of lorenzini

durable. if you punch her it caves in like some monkey d luffy shit

Desert Duo Doodles! I am in way too many fandoms to count, including content creators and whatnot. It wasn’t until a doodle of some CCs that I realised how many were MCYTs. But I wanted to draw these two cause I liked how I drew Scar in the other original doodle and have drawn Grian a bunch but constantly changed the design. Now I have one that I like.

Under the cut are the individual drawings plus stickers that I forgot to add to the original but decided fuck it it’s done, plus some explanation about design choices and headcanons. (Does anyone even care about that?) Idk and idc, I’ll ramble anyways.

(you don’t have to read the stuff, I don’t really care, but you can if you want)

First off, this one was annoying since it was supposed to be a hug. I was too lazy to draw the Third/Sercet Life outfits, so they are in their default outfits with crowns representing the fact that they won at least one of the Life games.

Ramble: For Grian’s design, I wanted to keep the bird/avian hybrid but also reference other series or past friend. The Life series has the poppy has memorabilia, the blue and red bracelet represents YHS/TS, and the eye necklace is for Evo. The tail is more so a mix of Watcher magic and Avian DNA, bird feet cause why not. The wing ears are hidden to look similar enough to his regular hair, I like to imagine that wing ears are a rarer trait and to not draw too much attention, he would use Watcher magic to change the colour of the wing ears to match his hair. The freckles are based off of the idea that Angel Dust’s freckles are actually just eyes (which were shown in the show), and I liked that idea. He didn’t have freckles before Evo but after in Hermitcraft he did, they are just eyes that are always closed though he can see out of them. It’ll be clearer in the next piece, but his eyes are based off of some bird eyes so a black sclera with coloured pupils. Grian just hides his eyes under his hair since they are more sensitive than normal. Also I didn’t wanna draw his eyes cause it was one of the things I kept changing before.

I’ll go into Scar later since it’s just a half body but he goes by the same rule of his outfit showing where he’s been. So the poppy and lavender for Third Life and the heart necklace for Secret Life. The earrings are based off of the crystals from Season 7.

Alter Egos! Or at least Hot Guy and Arianna Griande. Not much here, but you can see what I meant with the eyes beforehand.

Also, I can’t be the only one to notice or at least point out that Ari and Cute Guy have like the same or a least a very similar colour palette of pink and white.

Final one, and the two are taking a much needed nap. This could take place anywhere though I like to imagine somewhere in Double Life or somewhere between Season 7 - 10

(also I find it very funny how close these two’s bases were for Season 6 - 10. both were near each other in the futuristic district of season six, then next door neighbours at the start of season seven, I don’t need to mention much besides boatem in season eight, again near the start and most of season nine with Scarland and Grian’s timejump build, then finally again in season ten with Magic Mountain. just funny to me for some reason)

Ramble: Scar is like a hybrid between an elf/fae creature and a cat centaur (that I cannot remember the proper name for). The cat half is based off of Jellie, RIP, and his body is scarred because well I mean the dude is accident-prone it’s bound to happen. I imagine that Scar would wear slightly baggy outfits, like they hang off just a bit to not hug his figure. His hair is more based off of Season 9 with him leaning into the whole elf aesthetic, and I both hate and like the hair but whatever. Idk, I kinda just wanted to make him centaur based cause that visual isn’t something I see often. I imagine that hind legs are weaker than the front so he would switch between a cane and a wheelchair that you would see for animals. I might draw that later idk, but yea

In my previous post i talked about how I have a lotta scrapped MV ideas, well may as well dump some designs i've made based on songs over the years because like I probably wouldn't post these otherwize

also heres a few nice picture of miku from one of em to make you click on this post because its gunna be a long one and all these are hidden below a read more

for the record don't expect me to do anything with any of these, also these are from old to new some of these date back to early 2022 and it shows

This one i posted a storyboard for actually its An Aliens I Love You by Utsu-P.

I gave young Rin a sakura motif with her dress because of miku and rin meeting under a sakura tree, teen miku has a pink ribbion and hairclip to continue this. both rins bow and mikus outfit get darker outfits overtime to sybolize the song getting darker. I also gave adult rin the future rin hair. Miku's "alien" form is more or less how its described in the song tho i was lazy and didn't draw the 4 arms in the refs.

also Lily is Rins mom in this yup there she is indeed.

I actually have a lot of assets finished including the ones above i may show em off one day who knows.

This one is Stained Nocturne by Toa i actually did finish this one

the grey one is when they talk about being colorless

i gave them both very cute and elegent outfits i think it matches the vibe of the song. The starry outfits are the real highlight. if you wonder how I drew em over and over i just copy pasted the stars on their dresses.

they also are very blue because yknow nocturne. I forgot if i dumped the assets for this MV or not maybe next rant post.

This one is Corona by Utsu-P no idea why i did it its probably not even in my top 20 Utsu-P songs i just had some brainworms that wore off. I finished like a minute of it I guess.

I really like rin's outfit. "goth metal astronaut" is such a weirdly specific concept but she absolutley nailed it. 10/10 desin

This one is Garando by Picon. I gave her a like idk what to call it paperboy outfit like the one you see in the MV a few times. her eyes are yellow like bullets because I had this one S teir visual idea. I have some assets for this one i may show off one day.

i also considered doin the sekai ver i really like garando if u cant tell lol

This one is Happy Haloween by Junky another one i finished

Rins is just from the OG mv the rest are themed around the characters

Minori is a dark angel because tenshi no clover is themed around... a normal angel

haruka has candy and a penguin mask because thats her thing

airi is a vampire cuz she has fangs

shizuku is a witch because of her cast a spell on you outfit

SCREENSHOTS I GOT FROM THE JEREMY JORDAN LIVESTREAM YESTERDAY. especially love the comments on his duck drawings. he was very proud of some of them since he needed to practice before the stream. he admits he does not draw much lol

warnings: an apartment door nearly gets knocked off its hinges based on how loudly it was opened.

daisy’s notes: haha! you thought this was over! now its over for real i promise. (its midnight for me hehe)

At exactly midnight, the door to your apartment was probably broken now.

To paint the scene more clearly: you, the birthday girl of the day, had been curled up in your bed... alone, because your boyfriend had been away for work. Despite the way he had pouted at you the day before he left (”I can take you with me, just hide in my luggage, they won’t know--” after his attempts to fly you with them separately didn’t work because you also had work), Mark had grown more... okay, in a sense, that he wouldn’t physically be there with you for your birthday. The two of you had already decided you’d have a make-up date after he came back (which was supposed to be tonight, since midnight had struck) and rested up. It genuinely didn’t bother you at this point: his work was important to him, and he wasn’t the one in control of when he had to leave and come back. Hell, he was supposed to be back on your birthday, the birthday date being later was because you knew he’d be exhausted.

So when your apartment door suddenly burst open with the force of someone trying to break in, your first thought was, pretty reasonably, “Oh, fuck, someone just broke into my apartment, I should get ready to run and call the cops.”

Except thirty seconds later, your bedroom door flung open to, and you were met with the face of your panicked boyfriend. “Did I make it?! It was, like, two minutes to midnight when I got here and I, like, booked it up the stairs, bro.”

You merely stared at Mark at first, processing what the hell just happened. Because, truly, what the fuck just happened.

“Baby?” He said amidst all the huffing and puffing--how fast did he book it up the stairs? “Did I miss it?”

All you could do was look at your phone, time clicking on to reveal it was not only past minute, but barely a few minutes past midnight. Wordlessly, you held your phone up, and saw the devastation on his face.

“No! Oh my god. I thought we had time,” he made his way over to you. “I got an earlier flight and everything. Aw, man...”

Finally, you found your voice. “Mark... What the hell?”

He sat down at the foot of your side of the bed. “Okay. So... We got an earlier flight. Or, well, I mean I did... and so did a couple of the guys to make sure I didn’t die on my way here, although Donghyuck said he’d be there to comfort my widowed girlfriend if I did die on my way here--” Sounded like him. His flirting with you (and your boyfriend, to be fair) never stopped since you and Mark had never been bothered by what was clearly a joke. “--and I was gonna come surprise you and be like ‘I made it!’ but I didn’t, so now the surprise is kinda ruined even if it does mean I’m back here now--”

Instead of letting him continue to ramble about how he missed you, something he always did when returning from trips, you just pulled him in to kiss his stupidly cute face. He merely smiled into it, kissing you back immediately. When he drew back, you could see the way his eyes were glimmering.

“Hi, baby,” he giggled. “I know I’m late, but happy birthday. I’m home.”

“Mark, you nearly broke the fucking door!” Someone called from the living room. The two of you shared a look, and he grew more flustered.

“Also... I may have ditched my bags on the stairs. And I think Chenle was already following me up since I forgot some of my shit in the car, so...”

You giggled, planting a quick peck against his lips. “Go take care of things,” you said. “I’ll be here when you get back.”

He started to move, only to turn back, smiling as he kissed you one more time. “I love you,” he said. “I’m glad I’m home.”

You were, too.

Things were not going well. With the hectic nature of the holiday season taking over your whole life this time of year, you’d forgotten that you were in charge of securing a Christmas tree for your family.

It was now t-minus five days until Christmas, and you had yet to find a fir tree anywhere in the Outer Banks, which is how you ended up at at a smaller, more mom and pop farm called Woodards over on the south side of the island, praying for a goddamn Christmas miracle that would somehow get you the perfect tree.

But much to your dismay so far, no luck. The tiny lot was near void of trees, save for a few pathetic wilted ones over by the metal fence that definitely wouldn’t bode well if you brought any of them home.

You sighed heavily, shoulders slumping as you dragged a heavy hand down your face at the disaster you’d created for yourself. Christmas was your family’s favorite time of year, and you’d fucked everything up before the day had even come.

How were you supposed to go home and tell them that their favorite holiday tradition wasn’t happening this year, all because you’d gotten a little busier than normal?

“Hey,” A voice called from a little ways away, drawing your attention to the owner of said voice, a boy around your age, broad shoulders in a thick, worn looking grey jacket and blond curls poking out from under a red baseball cap that he tugged down tighter on his head as he peered over at you curiously. “You okay?”

You straightened up instantly, and you sniffed, trying to gain back your composure so you wouldn’t make a fool out of yourself in front of this stranger. This very cute stranger.

“Yeah, I’m okay, I’m just, erm—trying to find a Christmas tree,” You sighed, gesticulating vaguely.

“Well, this is a Christmas tree farm, so you’ve definitely come to the right place.” He replied, lips quirking up into an amused smile. “Though you’re comin’ in a little late in the game, I’d say. You can probably see that we don’t have much of…anything, really.”

“‘S on me, I totally forgot I was supposed to get it this year.”

“Busy holidays?”

“That’s putting it simply. Feels like it’s coming a lot faster than usual.” You chuckled humorlessly, dragging a tired hand down your face. The boy nodded knowingly, rocking on the balls of his feet. “Any chance you’ve magically got any good trees somewhere around here?”

“I think I might be able to help you out.” He hummed, making a dramatic show of scanning his surroundings before crooking a finger at you to follow him. You fell into step with him as he navigated his way across the farm deftly, your steps a little less sure. What did your parents always tell you about going to a secondary location with a stranger?

The boy could definitely tell you were on edge, because he snorted, an amused smile stretching his lips. “Relax, I’m not gonna do whatever you’re thinkin’. We keep some trees over behind the main tent—the not quite perfect but still pretty good ones, just for poor old saps like you.”

“Oh, he’s funny too!” You rolled your eyes playfully, which made him smile even bigger.

“I try my best. I’m JJ, by the way. Christmas tree extraordinaire.”

“Y/N. Poor old sap.” That drew a laugh from him, and you felt a little bit proud of it. “So what made you wanna work on a Christmas tree farm?”

“Want? Nothing really, but I’ve known the Woodards since I was a kid so they usually hook me up with seasonal jobs. Lawn mowing in the spring, pool cleaning in the summer, that kinda stuff.” He explained, a fond smile creeping over his face. “Plus, Mrs. Woodard makes the best snickerdoodles ‘round this time of year. I swear I could never eat anything other than those cookies for the rest of my life and die happy.”

“They seem really nice.”

“They’re good people. Some of the nicest you’ll ever meet.”

“And they’ve got good taste in employees too. Are all your coworkers this charming?”

“Oh, stop it,” JJ brushed you off unconvincingly, holding a hand over his heart. “You’re making me blush!”

“It’s true! If all Christmas tree salesmen were as good as you, we’d have an even bigger tree shortage!” You laughed. It was weird how you could feel this at ease with someone you’d met not even twenty minutes ago, but here you were, flirting up a storm with JJ. It didn’t feel uncomfortable or awkward at all, it felt…natural. Easy. Like you’d known each other for a lot longer.

“You’re just gunning for my cookies, aren’t you?” He teased, nudging your arm with a pointy elbow. You feigned surprise, shrugging innocently. “There might be some on the counter by the cash register later, you can probably snag a few if I’m feeling generous.”

“How kind of you!” Your conversation with JJ was cut short by your arrival at wherever he’d taken you, the sizable amount of pretty decent looking fir trees standing propped up against the fence proving a worthy distraction. “Oh wow, these are beautiful!”

“Feel free to look a little closer if you want, I’ll, uh, start getting some rope ready for you.” JJ set off almost instantly, leaving you studying the trees intently for the perfect one.

You’d only just found one when he reappeared, this time with a bundle of thin rope over his shoulder and some plastic netting, tossing the two on the ground next to the tree you were eyeballing once he was close enough.

“Oh, this one’s a nice one,” He noted, running a hand along the bristly branches. “You’ve got good taste.” You just grinned at him, happy that you were actually getting a tree after all. “I’ll get it tied up and ready to go then!”

JJ made quick work of packing up the giant tree, maneuvering it easily like he’d done it a thousand times before—which, judging by the lack of trees around, he probably had. Within no time, he’d looped the rope around the stump, slinging the whole thing over his shoulder and setting off towards the main tent with you in tow, without so much as breaking a sweat. It was probably one of the hottest things you’d ever seen.

“I can’t thank you enough for this, JJ, seriously,” You breathed, digging in your bag for your wallet. JJ leaned the tree against the fence next to the tent, brushing his hands off on his jeans as he made his way behind the counter.

He punched a few buttons on the ancient looking register, shrugging casually. “‘S what I’m here for. Glad I could help.”

“You’re literally the best. What do I owe you?”

“Normally, I’d hike up the price on this beaut for such a last minute score, but luckily for you, there’s a discount today,” He said proudly, grinning a wide, troublemaker smile. “I like to call it my ‘saving a pretty girl from more holiday distress’ discount.”

Your brows flew up at the boldness in his words, but you found yourself smiling. JJ the cute Christmas tree boy had game. “Oh? So how much do I owe you now?”

“Eh, sixty bucks.” JJ replied. Your brows furrowed at the low price. For a tree like this, which was actually pretty nice, you would’ve thought it would cost you an arm and a leg. “And a date.” He added hastily, shoving his hands into his pockets.

“A date.” You echoed, tilting your head thoughtfully, like you were pondering it. Truth be told, you weren’t actually thinking about turning him down at all. In fact, you had also been grappling with asking him out in the duration that you’d gotten to know him.

“Yeah. Coffee, movie, walk around town—I don’t mind. I just…I’d really like to see you again, Y/N.” JJ looked almost nervous now, lips pressing together into a sheepish grin.

“I’d really like to see you again too, JJ.” You meant it. There was just something about him that made you want to know more. You passed him the money you owed him for the tree, which he secured in the register drawer before nodding curtly.

“Here, lemme walk you to your car,” He insisted, shouldering the tree once again with minimal effort. The walk to your car was shorter than you would’ve liked, but alas, here you were. JJ stared up at the roof of your car, propping his hands on his hips with a furrowed brow. “I can get this up there in no time. Light work.” He flipped his hat backwards over his blond locks, pulling a pair of work gloves out of his jacket pocket and sliding them on.

He’d shucked his layers off until he was just in a t-shirt that gave you full view of his biceps, and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t enjoying the sight of him and those biceps hefting the large tree on top of your car. And he was right, he really did get the tree secured to the top of your car in no time, and soon enough he’d opened your door for you, helping you climb in.

Shutting your door carefully, JJ leaned into your open window, braced elbows and open palm holding up his chin as he watched you throw your bag onto the passenger seat. “I’ll see you around?” He asked, cheeks flushing pink in boyish hope. “Soon, maybe?”

“How’s next Friday sound? Lunch at noon?” You offered, tilting your head at him.

JJ beamed at you happily. “Sounds perfect. Text me when you get home, yeah? Gotta make sure that tree survives the journey.”

Your cheeks warmed at the care in his words, even though he tried to disguise it with teasing. “I will.”

“Good.” He murmured, looking like he wanted to say something, but deciding against it. “I’ll see you Friday.”

“See you Friday,” You echoed, smiling warmly at him. “And thank you again, JJ. I mean it. You’ve literally just saved my Christmas.”

“Saving poor old saps is my favorite part of the holiday season.” He teased, winking at you.

“Poor old saps like me?”

“No…nothing like you. You’re way better.”

Feeling emboldened by the wistful look on his face, you leaned out, fingers angling his jaw to the side and pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Bye, JJ.”

“Bye.” He sighed, pushing off from the window with his cheeks now a pleased pink. “Drive safe.” You waved at him once more before starting your car, watching him get smaller and smaller in your rearview mirror as you drove away.

Staying true to your word, you texted him the minute after you pulled into your driveway.

Y/N: miracle tree has officially made it home.

A reply came in almost immediately—a selfie of JJ, mid-munch on a cookie, squinting happily at the camera.

JJ: glad to see it. u just missed a fresh batch of snickerdoodles. sucks to suck, doesn’t it 😉

Y/N: you better bring some on friday then

JJ: of course i will. but i gotta tell u now, they come at a price

Y/N: and what would that be?

JJ: one tin of cookies for another date

You hadn’t even gone on your first date, and here he was bartering for a second. He was bold, and you liked it.

- you gave him the jacket and where about to leave but he took you to the rooftop to meet his friends and the guys with unique hair and kinda colorful jacket( which you later found out to be tsuji and shiba) just stud there like a bomb where dropped on them .

- as yasushi took you to the rooftop and introduced you as his girlfriend everybody was shocked like literally the same reaction you saw on tsuji and shiba .

- let's say - fujio like always was over existed to meet you and made you his friend.

- jamuo was as same level of shy as you . Nanaoka was also a little shy .

- the only normal once where tsukasa and nakagoshi.

- tsuji and shiba, they were kinda awkward and apologized to you for scaring you but asked you ofcourse slowly " why him ?".

- and yasushi all the time beside you holding your hand and smiling at you .

- as for todoroki, you unexpectedly clicked with him . Like you saw a book on the table and asked out of curiosity " do you read that book tsuji - san " " no , todoroki reads that book " tsuji replied " why do you ask ? " todoroki asked. " no , it's just one of my favorite books " you said almost scared by his cold tone and face . " really? " todoroki asked in almost a shocked tone .

- as you started discussing about the book and about more and more books todoroki toke the empty seat beside you . So now you where in middle and todoroki on your right discussing about books and yasushi on your left watching you both with a pout on his face . He was too obvious that he was jealous but he didn't Want to ruin your movement but this was one of the rare times you open up to someone new so poor baby just sat there watching you both and all the others just looked at you three.

- tsuji and shiba were laughing there asses off.

- you just spended your whole day in oya . " ne , ya- chan can I come to your school tomorrow too " you asked yasushi " absolutely not , you need to study, stupid " yasushi said while pulling you closer to him and away from the road .

- let's just say yasushi was teased alot by all the others later

So the first piece of art of yours that I saw was the comic where two of Bruce’s kids came out has trans to him and Branch tells him he’s a good dad and Bruce said he wishes their parents were supportive of him.

After that I came upon the one where JD decides to pierce his ear. And ends up with a date with a trucker.

And after that it was your first Floyd/Creek comics where Creek thinks he’s tricking Floyd but Floyd his aware and using him to get expensive stuff!!! It was between those three that I started following you.

While your style has changed since those little comics, I’ve always found your art amazing!!! And funny!!!

I keep coming back for more art and comics. I don’t read most of the asks you get so what ever happens on chapter 14 will probably be a complete surprise for me.

I do have a few questions from those first comics, have you ever considered drawing Bruce before he came out has trans? Maybe a little comic flashback of him coming out to his family? Also why was Branch so surprised? Didn’t he know Bruce was trans? And or was he… wait is Branch a he or a she? I forgot to ask before I didn’t understand in the story, if Branch came out has a boy or a girl. What I was going to say was Branch surprised that he wasn’t the only trans in the family?

As for the JD comic, have you ever considered drawing that date JD had with the trucker troll?

Also I think I once saw a Spotify playlist for Fleek with a cover of Floyd eating sushi from Creek’s back? Did I imagine that? Cause I can’t find that art on either of your twitter accounts.

Speaking of Creek’s back, what does he’s tramp stamp look like?

first of all tysm! thats very kind of you 😊 ill go through em point by point:

1- the comic where branch finds out bruce is trans wasnt related to the tdau at all, it was based on actual canon, so that version of branch wasnt intended to be a trans he/him butch he was just a cis dude. branch didnt know bruce was trans bc he wasnt even a year old at the point of the breakup and bruce had been living solely as a man for years, maybe as young as 13? (he wouldve just decided "can you call me a he? and grandma can you start buying me boy clothes at pop troll walmart?" i dont think he wouldve had the resources available to know what transgender even meant at that point) and never ended up telling branch before the breakup bc... well hes like 6 months old. and he doesnt need to know anything about "spruce"s body. and over the years bruce just kinda forgot that branch didnt know, which is why he mentioned it so casually

2- i did actually draw the troll jd had a date with! his name is clyde (although i think calling him clyde S.D. ale would be cute. like clydesdale, and also ale like the alcohol). this art is old atp so maybe ill give him a fresher coat of paint, just like im planning for jds manic pixie dream rock troll girlfriends who hate him

3- i. yes. yes i did draw floyd eating sushi off creeks back and ass before 😭 based off a very good screenshot from captain laserhawk with rayman eating sushi off a cow woman. i drew it twice in fact, with the second being a redraw. here are both of them

i considered redrawing it a third time bc i massively overhauled how i drew trolls but i think if i keep doing it itll stop being funny

4- creeks (NON CANON) tramp stamp, i think would be ocean themed with seashells and waves. maybe ill design creeks tramp stamp today, but again its NOT CANON its not actually a thing in the tdau. unless alex wants it to be

I am kinda obsessed with how cute Jun is when he gets embarrassed lol, it ended up probably making him a little ooc but I think he would be a very shy and straightforward person in love so it would end up with him feeling embarrassed a lot around his crush.

A gentle knock on the door startled Jun awake. You were standing in the doorway, looking apologetic as the blonde scrambled to sit up.

"Did I wake you up?" You asked in a soft voice, careful not to be loud. His wounds were getting better but you never know if he might be sensitive to loud noises, considering how he was just startled.

"No, I was just thinking," Jun flushed, embarrassed that he had actually dozed off for a few minutes while thinking. "I wasn't asleep!"

"Sure," you indulged in his lie and just smiled to yourself. "Can I come in?"

"Of course!" Jun hastened to reply, gesturing to the seat Gang had vacated a day before. No one else had dropped by after he had gone to talk to Mr. Baek and while the quiet was peaceful and good for recovery, it was very uncommon when around the students of Baek Suryong. "If you don't mind me asking… where is everyone?"

"There's been… a situation," you said as you sat down. "You don't need to worry about it. You should focus on your recovery."

Jun paused. It clearly wasn't something minor. You looked a little upset while talking about it and he didn't like seeing you like that. It made him uneasy. But you didn't want to speak about it so he wouldn't pry too much.

"Is everyone taking care of the situation then?" He asked carefully. You just nodded. "Then… how come you didn't go with them?"

"Oh!" Your cheeks tinted a light pink at that, and you looked down at the bowl of medicine you had held in your hands the whole time. "I… I thought someone should stay back to check on you. Not, not that you need it! I was just, worried, I guess, and I trust Mr. Baek to handle the other problem so I thought I could stay back and make sure you're healing properly– sorry! I'm rambling."

You squeezed your eyes shut, and Jun noted how your fingers were practically digging into the bowl. You looked nervous and embarrassed for some reason. He should say something to make you comfortable…

"I appreciate it," he settled on those words after thinking for a few seconds. You opened your eyes and peeked at him curiously. "Thank you for staying behind for me. Is that the same medicine from yesterday?"

"Yeah," you held it out to him. Jun reached out to take it and his hand gently wrapped around the bowl, overlapping on your fingers. The innocent touch made both of you flush and you practically pushed the bowl into his hands. Snapping your hands back to yourself, you just said a quick, "There is some more left for tomorrow as well."

"Right."

Jun stared down at his reflection in the murky colours, swallowing down the lump in his throat. He could still taste the bitterness of it from yesterday.

"I almost forgot!"

Your sudden exclamation made him look up. He watched as you drew something from your pockets and held it out to him. In your hands were a few pieces of… candy?

"I heard from Gang that you were complaining about the bitterness," you explained.

"I wasn't complaining!" Jun felt embarrassed. That Gang was really destroying his image in front of you! You giggled at his defensive retort.

"So I thought you might like some candy after it," you finished with a warm smile. The sight of it was enough to make Jun's heart throb a little faster and louder and he hurried to down the medicine so you wouldn't notice his rapidly reddening cheeks. You always got his insides wrecking so easily. "Woah there, slow down. There's no rush."

Jun dropped the empty bowl on his lap, face scrunched lightly from the bitterness. He took one of the candies you were offering and popped it into his mouth, the sweetness helping to smooth over the aftertaste.

"Good?" You tilted your head in question.

"Mm," Jun gave you a small smile of his own. He watched your eyes crinkle as you returned it with your own sweet smile. "Thank you for the candy. It was exactly what I needed."

"I'll make some more for you next time," you promised, placing the remaining next to his bed. Jun looked at you in surprise.

"You made the candy?" He watched a light flush crawl across the tip of your ears and down your neck.

"I like making candy once in a while," you shrugged. "It was the only one I had on me at the moment… I hope it didn't taste weird!"

"No, it was really good," he smiled at you. Inside, his heart was beating too fast again. He got to eat your own handmade candy?! Lucky! "When you say next time… How long will I have to wait?"

You paused and looked at him with wide eyes. He had said it a little teasingly but you seemed to have taken it seriously. Before Jun could correct it, your lips curled into a smile.

"Maybe until Valentine's?"

This is how I think the fruit y/n possible ate

Then 2 designs of the sword Mihawk gave them

Then a design of Rogers coat (writing: ripped so y/n rolls it up)

I think that along everything their getting up to Rogers coat is bound to get damaged in some way

Somthing that could have possible happened:

Shanks accidently riping his strawhat when he was young so they fix it for him(kinda how Nami does for Luffy) back to the ribon thing I mentioned earlier, I think that maybe someday shanks ripped apart the ribbon on the strawhat so when they replaced it , y/n keeps the ripped ribbon and makes a makeshift choker/necklace from it

I made this in class , then remembered that both y/n and Brook were playing the piano when I drew him playing the violin(writing: do you think you could do a solo?)

Was having Ace brainrot so I drew Y/n holding him as a baby, then giving him the necklace a bit later and finally then with him all grown up!( again a bit of my hcs: they actually always wore the necklace but when they found Ace they hid it in the coat)

I hope you like these(I've just started learning how to draw so I get that they look bad(also I made this a while ago so I'm better at art now:)))

Post about big angel plushy part 1!!

Hi! Sorry for 2 long absence! I was into one big project and I am ready to show you THEM! This is a 60 cm tall action figure of a biblically accurate angel It’s not ready yet but I can’t wait longer!

I divided post in 3 pieces because it was too big! I will post second part later on a week and third on the next one. After posting them I will put links here for a better access to whole story🤍

It’s not a tutorial or a step by step description of all project. Below I just wrote about overall work that was done and altho placed couple more photos of this cutie pie 🧡

So wants the deal:

Year ago i had a brilliant idea to make a HUGE biblically accurate angel because I needed a support plushie or something like that.

I drew a concept art that looked fine and I LOVED IT!

I wanted him to be something like a seraphim. I knew they have 6 wings but I decided to work on a two extra pair later on the project.

After two weeks of work they started to get in shape

And then I forgot about project for weeks, months aaand after long time… i looked at him… and It wasn’t what I wanted.

Biggest problem was in legs and arms.

First ones was too long and worked like two long sticks , they wasn’t able to band as it was though in a concept and overall looked to rough for this design.

Arms had the same problem but altho they were completely static which made toy even more clumsy-looking.

Some minor mistakes occurred too. They face was TOO small even wings on it didn’t helped!Wings was white and boring.

But I liked this little guy so much and they had puppy eyes so I decided to redo some parts! For this of project air drying clay, golden paint, wire and silicone was mostly used.

Firstly I changed form of a legs and made them more human like! I read about seraphims using their wings to cover up legs so a thought making smaller one would be better and although will mare them more manageable. On this moment they are not painted yet, but I thought about maybe make some toes and greek type golden sandals later.

Look at how cute this little creature look after this!!

Ok I got kinda tired wile writing this soo all the rest will be in second and third parts! Sorry for making parts short i just have a lot of photos and a wanted to share all of them! Thank you for reading this It’s really important to me to be able to show people my work and I am really happy to be able to do It here!

warning. eyestrain. if you're on max brightness and its 3 am proceed with causion. same if you hate a random dude on tumblr ramble for way to long. this includes more text then i care to admit.

icons of some hollow knight silksong characters except i really, and i mean really went overboard with special effects and other random stuff that mildly fits their character (and even that is somewhat questionable) to add as much eyestrain as i physically can and looks not bad. also i wanted to make more icons, but i lost interest and i really just wanna post something after no new art for like 2-3 weeks. also i used those custom pattens brushes to much and it shows.

this whole thing was me just wanting to draw trobbio once more and i thought 'why not an icon even though you've replaced your pfp not even a month', so i did. im not even gonna use it as a pfp, im just leaving it here and then i did the same for seth. and i spiraled from there.

trobbio is the only one without those outlines and it rally bothers me, but due to how i layered i cant fix it. it is what it is. also it makes it more flashy, and if someone here has a flashy icon its him.

seth's one is the least eyestrain one. but i like the darker tones, so im keeping it this way. honestly, might make it my pfp for a while. its probably my favorite one. yep, i peaked at the second one.

i was looking at references for sherma and saw someone drew him with those pink flowers and it was to cute not to steal. i forgot who made it, but just so you know: the flowers weren't my original idea.

this is my first lace icon. i dont really like it, so i made 2 for her. the only reason im posting it is cuz i've watd to much time on it.

and her's the second one. this one kinda mirrors hornet's icon. why? well good question dear viewer (or whatever you call someone who actually reads this (which if you do, thank you, i dont type these for nothing)). its because i can. also i still dont love how the second one came out. i guess not everyone can draw every character. partly due to her needle? sword? thing she fight with still has lines about as straight as i am, and likely she is as well. this is the one with the clearest use of a shape brush.

i hope hornets needle doesn't look thrown in, cuz thats exactly what i did. it was to kinda mirror lace's battle weapon and its kinda silvery and lace's is gold, and ok, you get it now. honestly, hornets one is one of my more favorites, even though the star brush is to obvious.

shakra's icon is ok. honestly, probably the least remarkable one. i dont really have anything interesting to add. ok 1 thing mildly interesting. i think this one took th longest to make the character for. thats about it really. and like lace, i can barely draw her. also why and how did i get worse at using star brushes? they weren't as obvious on the first few and on the last 3 it was clear as day. it is what it is i suppose.

also, before anyone asks, if you really, and i mean really somehow wanna use them, go ahead, credit is appriciated, though not needed. just dont say you made them alright. or do. idk why you wanna claim these are yours though, but i lack the ability to care, nor come after you irl. but please dont do it, its kind of an asshole move imo. if you still do, i guess i cant stop you, though if you steal art im just gonna assume you're kind of a prick to be around. also i still have enough material to make a part 2 (like carmlita and forg daughter). but im busy making other stuff rn.
