I am currently in an AroAce Luffy Mood so accept my crew x Lu ideas
ZoLu as a partnership where they call one another Their Boyfriend, and they pass as a romantic relationship. Luffy doesn't really Get Romantic Feelings but he DOES love. He has squishes on his whole crew, but Zoro is His Zoro.
Zoro, for his part, is aromantic or some flavor thereof where his devotion to Luffy is maybe romantic love, maybe platonic love, who cares, he'd do anything for his captain.
Simultaneously, Luffy has a queer platonic relationship with most people on the crew, they are HIS and the only boundaries he'll respect at the ones they establish. Who cares about propriety? They're PIRATES!
After different arcs, Luffy gets Clingier to certain people - it's either New Friend Fawning or Not So Hidden Abandonment Issues Cropping Up. Sometimes it's just a need for comfort, either on his end or for one of his people.
Sanji spent a long time keeping everyone... kind of at arm's length. Ussop and he wind up falling into orbit, and life isgood, is beautiful, Sanji is so happy - but he also is so terrified.
He will follow his captain to the end of the world, and he loves his crew, his friends, with everything he has. There is no where on the planet he'd be safer than there, with them. But Luffy's eyes, so dark and searching and Seeing - they make him antsy. It's alright in passing, in energetic moments. It's unbearable during those rare moments of calm examination. Sanji makes it clear very early on that he's not into that.
It's only after WCI that Luffy grabs Sanji into a tight hug late one evening, them both sitting up, awake and alone in the small kitchen. It's then that calloused rubber hands cup a stubble dotted jaw, a forehead pressed to forehead, and brown-black-red eyes meet blue and Luffy just... waits.
And Sanji? Oh, he's tired. He's tired, he's sad, he's hurt but he's safe and-
He's Luffy's.
He is baptized under that gaze that night with hot cocoa in their tongues and warmth in their hearts and Sanji lets himself have this. It doesn't matter if he deserves it, it doesn't matter if it's alright, all that matters is that It Is, that he can claim it for himself.

Aroace Zolu is so funny to me. They're a third secret thing. It's like they are not boyfriends but they are boyfriends but actually that's just how first mates/captains are with each other but they're special and unlike anybody else and-- You get me.
And I agree btw I think Luffy has QPR relationships everywhere in the crew (I mean. Mostly east blue crew but yeah) because his way of loving is more than just friendship but it's not romantic love either? And they don't need a word for that because they are pirates so it doesn't matter at all what labels they use as long as they're happy with it.
The last part btw????? Do you want me to CRY?????? Aghhh. I love Sanji opening up and accepting the love Luffy has to offer him. It's my favorite flavor of Lusan.

My Dr. Sozonius LORE Headcanons
✨Warning this is a bit long✨
Sozo is a character that has lived for a very long time. Whatever that mushroom was on their head not only influenced Sozo but kept them immortal. We know really nothing bout Sozos past so I made some headcanons for silly fun and for me to visualize who Sozo was and what his life may have looked like. I want to do my best to keep this as game accurate as possible, so there will be quotes from the game. The quotes are not at all in order! I kinda just bring up random Sozo quotes as I go. Also I apologize if this doesn't make sense or if I ramble (I get excited about certain topics)

And so we start:
Sozonius was born in the days of the old faith. He was present the day the Bishops declared the genocide of the lambs and he actually played a big part in assisting the lambs survival. However, he almost got caught and had to stop helping the lambs to keep his family safe. He's never seen any of the bishops but his village was part of Darkwood and therefore under Bishop Leshy’s ruling.
VILLAGE
Sozonius village was mostly a colony of Carpenter Ants, there were a few other species living there too but it was mostly Carpenter Ants. I imagine there are different races of ants depending on the region they’re in; so there could be fire ants, pharaoh ants, and more! Most ants get along nicely and work together but sometimes other races of ants can be more temperamental and cause conflict between colonies. Carpenter ants are a more calm type of ants, they aren't aggressive but they are incredibly strong. Carpenters ants are known to live in trees; they hollow out trees to make their homes and they like to stay off the ground as much as possible in case of floods and other dangers.
In the colony they had their ruler, the “Queen,” who looked over the village and did queenly business (not gonna go too deep into it). Everyone had many different jobs, ants are hard workers and very strong. They made marvelous structures, farmed a lot of crops, and knew how to work together when there was a threat. Sozo’s village was one that many others would try making deals/trades with. I would talk more about his village but that's not why y’all are here lol.
Sozonius was a fellow damn near everyone in the village knew. He loved his work and he loved to talk about it to anyone that expressed that they wanted to listen. He was that guy that you could get stuck in a conversation with and struggle to end it. He liked to ramble about his work and kids. Other than that though he never really started conversations with others, he would keep to himself unless someone interacted with him.
And I could definitely see him having a science rival but nothing too bad lol.
FAMILY
“Where am I…? Where is… my family…?” are the words Sozo says when he turns back into Dr. Sozonius. I like to think he had a wife and two children. They didn’t have the best marriage but they made it work out for their two sons. His wife was a bit stubborn and very honest. She would say things before thinking which did cause issues, but Sozonius let it slide because he loved her so much and wanted a happy family for his sons.
Sozonius was a very funny dude. He made dad jokes all the damn time, his family would pretend to hate the jokes but in reality they did love them.
Sozo Dialogue “Now all Sozo can think about is mushrooms, mushrooms, MUSHROOMS… They don’t leave mush-room for anything else! Ha!”
(Also, this next idea is inspired off of @kuphulwho headcanons for Sozo. I loved her ideas and I recommend y'all look at her headcanons too!) Aside from Sozonius being a mycologist he had a side hobby of art! He wasn't the best artist, but he was really talented with sketching plants/fungi, he liked to make art of anything that interested him. He most likely wrote an educational picture book about Fungi, there's probably an old copy of it somewhere.
This art hobby caught the interest of his two sons, and they also started to pursue art. Sozonius would take his free time teaching his sons how to draw plants and such. Sozonius would hang his kids' art everywhere in their house, it was like walking into an art museum haha.
JOB
Sozonius studied mycology which means he studied fungi. Sozonius knew fungi could benefit his society and he wanted to help educate others about the importance of fungi. Soon he learned enough of a new discovery of mushroom people, neither plant nor animal…Sozonius then made the decision to go on a solo mission to study the Mushroomo people.
THE MUSHROOMOS
Dr. Sozonius Dialogue “My name is Dr. Sozonius. I was researching the Mushroomos that live in Spore Grotto… strange creatures, Neither animal nor plant…”
Sozonius went to Spore Grotto and at first, he studied the Mushroomo people from a distance setting up a campsite near the Mushroomo Village. When the Mushroomo people discovered Sozonius they welcomed him into their home, cheerful happy little things. Sozonius was given the chance to learn more about these strange creatures up close! How could he say no? Sozonius was welcomed into Spore Grotto and was treated like a god.
Sozonius asked the Mushroomos many questions, but getting any actual answers from them was difficult. The Mushroomos treated Sozonius like he was their most special guest, they danced and sang for Sozonius. They would mimic Sozonius and follow him around, making sure to do anything he asked of them. There would be many times when the Mushroomos would offer to feed Sozonius menticide mushrooms but Sozonius knew a lot about fungi and declined their offers. However, there seemed to be a special Ritual the Mushroomos took part in…
Sozonius had been in Spore Grotto for many weeks now, it was time for him to leave, he had studied enough and was ready to return home but the Mushroomos were surprisingly sad when he announced this. They wanted to show Sozonius a sacred ritual to them before he left, he wasn't aware of the menticide mushrooms being part of it…
Dr. Sozonius Dialogue “They gave me Menticide Mushrooms, and then… that’s the last thing I remember…”
After Sozonius was tricked into eating menticide mushrooms and also gave Sozonius a crown, a crown that would grow into Sozoniuss mind, he shall be the Mushroomos leader… And the new Sozo was made. (literally just think of Ice Age 2 when the lil sloths take Sid to be their fire king, however they don't sacrifice him)
The mushroom on Sozos head is very powerful, it makes me wonder what it is exactly, it gives the person wearing it immortality, but also causes the user to go insane (don't forget that Sozo is also being fed menticide mushrooms) the mushroom crown kinda reminds me of Chemachs crown. It seems to have a mind of its own and a face. I feel like the Mushroomos for days straight made sure to give Sozo a diet of only menticide mushrooms to make him forget everything and to possibly power the mushroom crown. They would constantly tell Sozo that his mind would be open and free, that it would make him feel better, and Sozo being under the influence of the mushroom listened to them.
A Mushroomo Dialogue "Once you taste the Menticide Mushroom your mind will be opened."
As the years went by so did all the sanity Sozonius had left, but in some moments Sozonius seems to still be aware but not all there.
Sozo Dialogue “Sozo had friends... Followers... family... now Sozo has mushrooms..."
Sozo over time seems to start to dislike his followers and call them liars. He even becomes quite cruel to his followers. Yet he also mentions that he trusts the lamb and wants the lamb to protect him from his followers which makes me believe that Sozonius is somehow a little aware and fighting against the mushroom crown’s influence. He is mad at the Mushroomos for lying to him, tricking him, making him into who he is now.
Sozo Dialogue “No need to thanks Sozo. Build it at your Cult then come back to me. Sozo shall grant you one last gift. Sozo is always fair. Always repays this debts. Not like those LIARS out there."
"You did it! Now I know I can trust you... not like those nasty liars outside. They are always watching, always listening! Here take this. You are Sozo's best friend, you are Sozo's only friend."
"Sozo can trust you now, Sozo will pledge himself to you! You will protect me from those liars outside and bring Sozo mushrooms!"
(Also a side note that my gf brought to my attention last second lol! Apparently parasitic mushrooms rely on insects to spread. That is probably why they tricked Sozonius into staying and eating menticide mushrooms. Maybe it's been that long since they've seen an insect)
SOZOS IMPRISONMENT
So, this next little headcanon of mine is an interesting one and might be confusing to explain. Was Sozonius imprisoned within his own mind while under the control of the mushroom crown? If he was, I can see him being stuck in a sort of loop, imagining his family and friends. Think like Mabel's Bubble from ‘Gravity Falls’ weirdmageddon. Sozonius is trapped in a mental bubble, stuck in a false reality as the now mushroom-infected Sozo takes over his body and actions.
In Sozonius’s mental bubble he is in a place where trees are big, tall mushrooms and flowers are mushrooms, everywhere he turns its mushrooms. He knows something is wrong, everything is too strange, everyone he loves is there with him but is it real? It feels like he's living in a dream. Sozonius proceeds to talk to his friends and family as if they are actually there in which I noticed that Sozo will talk to the menticide mushrooms as if they are actual people.
Sozo Dialogue “Precious, perfect little mushrooms, Sozo is here now, Sozo will always be here…”
”Sozo is busy now… Sozo must commune with the ‘shrooms.”
As time passes more mushrooms grow in his mind prison, and they keep growing and growing until they start to grow on the people he loves. He knows something is happening, he's going mad, and he starts to search for an exit, he needs to escape this false reality that the mushroom crown has created for him.
He starts fighting the mushroom crown’s hold on him which causes him to regain some awareness. This is when a part of him realizes he’s been tricked, and he starts refusing everything the Mushroomos give him and becomes cruel to them. However, the lambs have never done him wrong before and the lamb (from the cult) begins to be the only person he can trust. At least until it becomes too much and well… we know Sozo’s fate.
SOZO’S REVIVAL
So Sozo doesn't get resurrected until all the bishops become mortal (at least in my playthrough)(I might change this to he was part of the cult before the bishops I’m not sure). So all the bishop siblings are in the cult and learning the ways of mortal stuff and Sozo appears around the same time, still the crazy Sozo we know and love. However, he’s still very addicted to the menticide mushrooms and both the Lamb and night workers have found Sozo digging through the mushroom crops like a lil racoon.
Based on the game, Sozo likes to run around the cult and do his own thing; he often looks very spaced out but the moment someone talks to him he starts spitting nonsense before yelling at them to go away. The only people Sozo will talk to are people that give Sozo what he wants, which is menticide mushrooms! If you do that for him he will talk your ear off with nonsense, in conversations with him he will often talk about his followers, them being liars and disgusting little creatures. One day though Sozo’s personality seems to change? He starts to tell the lamb,
“Sozo was just here, all alone, thinking about mushrooms... Uh, Sozo means Sozo's little Mushroomo followers!”
”Yes,, they must be so lost without Sozo. They love Sozo! Everyone loves Sozo - especially Lamb!”
“Without their great and beloved Sozo, Mushroomos must be so scared... YOU! You must save them! Save them and bring them to Sozo.”
”They will be trapped in Anura. They are always getting captured when they don't have their great Sozo to protect them. Rescue them and bring them to me.”
But when you bring the followers to Sozo he ends up eating them. At first glance you can assume it's just his addiction, in which it most certainly could be! He sees a big mushroom and he's like oooo~ delicious but there's also a possibility of this being Dr. Sozonius’s anger coming out. The whole fighting against the mushroom crown’s influence and realization that he’s been tricked. Maybe a mix of his addiction and anger for what they did to him? I’m not too sure if Sozo eating the Mushroomos was a problem before he joined the cult.
Of course, this addiction must be stopped so the lamb decides enough is enough and refuses to get more Mushroomos. This causes Sozo to dissent and, with little choice, the Lamb has to put him in rehab. I imagine it would’ve been a struggle getting Sozo to the prison without the Red Crown’s help. With the power of an ant that is Sozo’s size it's a miracle he didnt break that pillory while he was in it. Sozo just stayed silent and didn't fight; the person he had put his trust and hope in has imprisoned him. Sozo is a bit depressed at that moment.
After Sozo has been re-educated, released, and cured of his addiction the mushroom crown finally falls off his head. Which, like I said before, makes me wonder, was it being powered by the menticide mushrooms Sozo has been eating or is it something else?
But Dr. Sozonius talks about some stuff before saying,
Dr. Sozonius Dialogue “I can’t help but feel that I have you to thank for… something. You have my loyalty, I will remain here and serve you. Please, take this!”
Sozonius was ready to live his life rather than reunite with his family in the afterlife. He wasn't expecting to be resurrected after dying in the cult from old age. But Sozonius gave the lamb their loyalty and promised to stay in the cult and serve them. The Lamb had been so kind as to give Sozonius an immortality necklace, the Lamb didn’t want Sozonius to go yet… and Sozo’s heart was too kind and soft. He will have to wait a bit longer to return home to his family, but maybe some good things will come out of staying longer~

he’s made it his life mission to try every flavor once. los angeles is like the vape capital of the world so there is definitely no shortage of flavors for him to try. someone please pack him a normal regular unflavored bowl before all his clothes permanently smell like strawberry ice. he thinks he’s subtle but you can literally smell him a mile away, his scent enters the room before he does
junhui: literally anything
willing to take whatever you’re willing to give: you put any kind of weed in front of him and he’s gonna try it. he really doesn’t have a preference for what form it’s in, as long as he gets to do it with you <3 i can also see him trying edibles in different forms than the usual kinds, like the ones that come in a can like soda or a bag of chips. it’s hard to tell when he’s high because he’s the same amount of giggly as he always is, it’s like a 50/50 chance of whether he’s stoned or just silly
soonyoung: preroll joints
he tries so hard it’s kind of sad but also so funny. he takes one hit and coughs like he's been chainsmoking cigarettes for the last 40 years, then gets tired after 10 minutes and lays facedown on the floor until he falls asleep. he’s not invited to smoke with you anymore because he spills the bong water every single time without fail. he becomes the most giggly and cuddly person you’ve ever seen in your life; imagine drunk hosh, times ten. he sets up his tiger plushies in a circle and passes the joint around like he’s a 4 year old girl having a tea party. he starts crying if one of them feels left out so he has to count and make sure they all get an equal number of hits

locks himself in and hotboxes the studio. he mostly does it to get out of his own head and chill alone for a while, so don’t even think about interrupting him. he’ll emerge from a cloud of smoke a couple of hours later with 2 new albums, god of light music: the sequel, and a solo for hoshi. he doesn’t let the other members touch his stuff or even know where he hides it

i hate to play into the dirty gamer boy stereotype that he’s always written as… but he 100% never cleans it. it’s always byob (bring your own bong) when he invites you over because he may be with fine smoking a crusty bowl, but not everyone feels that way sorry dude

he doesn’t trust anyone to roll but himself. he has fancy expensive organic papers that he got from an exclusive farmer's market and he treats it like an art form but honestly it hits way better when he does it so you don’t question his technique. a hand rolled joint from minghao is like a gift from god
mingyu: homemade edibles
vernon gave him a homemade rice krispie once and he swore it wasn’t hitting so he ate another one... and then passed out on the couch. after vernon gave him the recipe, mr. professional chef here decided he likes to bake them himself but somehow always ends up measuring it wrong and makes them way too strong. on accident or on purpose? we may never know. most likely both. he gets so high he can’t even stand up straight, most giggly and cuddly person you’ve ever seen #2
seokmin: cbd gummies
he takes them to relax or to help him fall asleep rather than to get super high. but he still wanted to feel included with the members who smoke so he tried to buy a cart one time but he bought a melatonin pen on accident instead and they never let him live that down
seungkwan: normal shaped bong (clean)
he takes good care of his stuff and he’s serious about it! he had a bad experience with mold once and now he’s paranoid about remembering to change the bong water. he cleans it daily and keeps everything nice and organized, and he has a bedazzled grinder because if he’s gonna smoke then he’s gonna do it in style obviously
vernon: also literally anything
he’s honestly down for whatever. he prefers smoking over edibles but he doesn’t care if it’s a joint, a pen, a bong. also depends on his mood but the majority of the time it’s whatever is the closest within reach and requires the least amount of effort
chan: 4ft tall bong
how? why does he have that? where did he get it? huh? those are all questions he doesn’t have the answers to either. it’s more of a mascot than anything; it sits in the corner of his living room like a lamp and he doesn’t even use it. he uses a regular bong the majority of the time but only because he’s afraid of breaking the sacred Tall Bong. it’s a big hit at parties

Prongsfoot Headcanons
These are my own headcanons, if you don't like them just scroll past, don't leave rude comments.

Sirius and James are that one couple: sunshine dude and intimidating punk that's only soft for said sunshine. It's actually disconcerting when the untouchable, immovable, terrifying boy that only wears black smiles at the bubbly, too bright boy that never stops talking or jumping around. James is the only one Sirius is soft for. (He is ridiculously soft for James.)
Both of them are absolute nerds. 99% of the time they're hanging out with each other, their talks are always about advanced magic: anywhere from Runes, Potions, Transfiguration, Magical Theory, Arithmancy, Spellcrafting, Magical Politics. You name it, they have had in depth philosophical discussions about it.
James is obssessed with Arithmancy and Runes. He's best at Transfiguration, but he finds it boring; Arithmancy ans Runes mean he gets to play around with numbers and languages, mix and match to invent new spells for pranks, house help, schoolwork etc. He finds it fun because it's complex, and it keeps his mind occupied for hours on end.
Sirius, on the other hand, adores Defence and Astronomy. He's fierce with a wand— fiercer than James— and can cast with both hands. Duelling is his favourite pastime, and he drags the Marauders to the Room of Requirement for at least two Duelling sessions a week. People expect him to hate astronomy for its relation to his family, but he actually loves staring up at the stars, mapping them out, finding the constellations and seeing if he can remember the names (he always can). He and James have had so many dates in the Astronomy tower where they have nerd talks while lying on their backs.
Neither of them actually hate Slytherin. They just hate Snape (which: fair). They have friendships with a lot of the non- Death Eater Slytherins, and are often found hanging out in the Slytherin common room, being unnecessarily mushy in order to annoy Regulus and Snape. (Regulus is very annoyed, but he's also happy for Sirius. Snape just stomps into the dorms to avoid them.)
Sirius loves James' arse so much, it might actually be unhealthy. He always— always— has to be touching that arse every few seconds; sliding his hand into James' back pocket as they walk to class, squeezing it like a stress ball, pulling him into his lap, landing a teasing spank to see it jiggle as James walks by, etc. James has gotten used to it. He doesn't even bat an eye, just lets Sirius grope him to his heart's content. (He likes it. He won't admit it. Sirius still knows he likes it.)
James loves it when Sirius picks him up. They're both tall and broad, but while James is built lean and wiry like a Chaser, Sirius looks like he could throw around a hippogriff with ease. James likes that difference because he feels small and protected, and Sirius can just pick him up and sling him over his shoulder or press him against a wall to kiss the living daylights out of him. It is not uncommon to find Sirius casually piggybacking or bridal carrying James to classes, both of them engrossed in a nerd talk.
A combination of James' kajal and Sirius' rings was the reason they got together. Sirius could barely stop himself from kissing James silly when he had kajal on, and James could not stop fantasising about sucking on Sirius' slender fingers. The sexual tension finally boiled over two months into sixth year, when James yelled at Sirius to stop being so damn hot, straddled his lap and kissed him full on the mouth. And then, they became utterly unbearable, snogging and groping left, right and centre till the professors and prefects went mad.
Neither of James' parents were surprised by that development. "About time," his mother said when they announced it during Christmas of 6th year, and his father agreed. "I was wondering when you two fools would get your heads out of your arses."
In addition to his arse, Sirius is also obsessed with James' thighs. They're toned and bronze and so tantalizing, Sirius loves it when James wraps them around his waist. He loves sucking marks into James' inner thighs till he's trembling and whimpering and begging Sirius to just fuck me already, please. Seeing the blue and red bruises on James' legs always leaves him feeling extremely smug— they're proof that James belongs to Sirius, and Sirius only.
Despite having darker skin, James blushes a lot more easily than Sirius does. Sirius remains unfazed through most situations, but James is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve, and gets easily flustered. One smirk and a teasing whisper in his ear from Sirius and he turns firetruck red. Sirius thinks it's adorable. James thinks it's unfair that he can never fluster Sirius. Sirius argues that he gets plenty flustered, it just doesn't show on his face.
James is pansexual. Sirius is biromantic demisexual. Both of them go at it like rabbits. Their dorm mates (especially Peter) hate them.
James' favourite place to sit is Sirius' lap. Sirius' favourite place for James to sit is also Sirius' lap. It's normal for James to shove his way onto Sirius' legs when the boy is mid conversation, and for Sirius to simply adjust James and keep talking to the third person. Most times, it devolves into James grinding down on Sirius as he sucks hickeys into James' neck.

I think it's complicated due to a variety of issues. 40k as a franchise is huge, but it isn't the sort of thing that tends to have overlap with tumblr type fanspaces. It also doesn't help that 40k is a fractured fandom featuring tons of different factions, so it's not like a standard fandom where there are main characters and a main story that people will always flock to. The primarchs are the closest thing we have to that, which is why there is naturally more content for them.
In addition, fandom itself is in a bit of a flux state and has been ever since the 2018 nsfw ban which caused a lot of people to leave for twitter, which is now undergoing its own huge changes right now (and I just hate twitter on principle).
I suppose the one thing I think would help, would be somehow getting the 40k tumblresque fandom space more consolidated as a whole. Like, somehow have a blog that is popular for all factions that posts headcanons about everything, thus getting people interested in parts they don't normally think about. Because 40k is a huge time investment to learn about. I've been listening to audiobooks for what feels like nonstop for over a month, and even then I could only ever feel confident telling people about Emperor's Children. So it naturally is harder for new people to get into the fandom and focus on some of the smaller things because there is just so much.
It's almost how I view your blog. I check it daily for fun art/headcanons/just general character stuff, and you made me more interested in some of the captains and such. But even then, you have your focuses. So a space even more general where someone would reblog art from everything 40k would likely be nice? Maybe I just miss the livejournal days of fandom.
As far as more engagement, I think having silly things like character weeks which encourages people to draw or write or talk about specific aspects is a huge benefit. It sets a schedule and makes people feel like they are shouting less into the void.
But as someone new here, maybe its my weird perspective, but I don't feel like things are getting less popular. If anything, from just checking AO3, it seems like things are only getting more popular for less of the reddit type and more for the Tumblr wanting to see hot dudes and their complicated feelings type. Also more people are getting into 40k in this side of the space through rogue trader. Like people I never talked to about 40k are starting to look into the series because they played Baldurs Gate 3, and needed a new RPG to play, and conveniently Rogue Trader is filling that for them.
So, I'm optimistic if anything.
Sorry about the long ramble! Just kinda dumping my thoughts out.
I love Tumblr because, unlike Twitter or Bluesky, it allows for way longer, way more elaborately structured posts. I love it when artists don't just slap their pics into a post and be done with it, but instead add stuff like maybe "I read this book, here's a quote, and it gave me this mighty need to draw this". Or "please listen to this music here while looking at my pic! It goes perfectly with it!". Or just a multi-paragraph-essay (preferably very unhinged) about the character in the upper left corner.
This in advance, so you can see I'm totally with you on the "miss Lifejournal"-thing, because blogs are so much better than just 500 characters, four pics and nothing else. And why I think Tumblr is a very good replacement for Lifejournal.
The multitude of Tumblr-blogs with their many different angles are such a treat and provide such a rich ecosystem! I follow artists posting exclusively admech-stuff, others solely Drukhari, some writers focussing on just one Astartes Legion ... it's phantastic and the depth of their niche-knowledge is mindblowing.
I agree with you that this will be overwhelming for new fans coming from rather monolithic stuff like Rogue Trader. And the key to keeping those new people involved and making them feel welcome is showing them all this variety without scaring them away.
Maybe this new feature Tumblr is working on, can be helpful here. I haven't read much about it yet, but it seems the "Community"-feature has the potential to bundle stuff in a way that's more approachable for new and old fans alike. Maybe there's room for your idea of having "character weeks" (I like that! Sounds very MacDonald's. I'll have Fabius with extra pickles, please! 😁).
I'm sharing your optimism that both the new games and maybe the new series/movies will bring a lot of new fans over and some of them may even stick around. I am a bit wary that there's the possibility of a MCU-situation starting to build up, but since Warhammer-lore is in a constant state of flux anyways this might just add some spice to the mix.
So, yeah, hope for the darkest of futures!

Amane Momose from MILGRAM, a music project by DECO*27 and Yamanaka Takuya-Polyfrag/C-DID (headcanon)

Amane is a polyfragmented DID system. To Me. In her first trial (basically the first season if you want to think about it like that) she was voted Unforgiven/"Guilty" for the murder she committed. This caused her to, as many of the other characters describe it, "become a completely different person". In her second trial voice drama, she started referring to herself as "we", and she said that she was "both Amane Momose and not Amane Momose" when a character brought up her extremely out of character behavior.
Her voice was completely different when she talked and behaved like this. It was much emptier and deeper than her usual voice, which is higher and has an audible cadence to it, in stark contrast to the other voice's very monotonous tone.
In her second music video, The Purge March, it shows hundreds of Amanes together doing a march performance thing (idk I'm not familiar with marching band stuff). They all seem to be autonomous, having "gone rogue" and decided to do what they wanted nearing the end of the MV.
She is 12 years old and has been being raised in a cult. She's been severely psychologically and physically abused for who knows how long. Likely the vast majority of if not her whole life. As expected, she has a lot of cognitive dissonance going on. She both sees herself as completely free and as being controlled. She says she was treated well by her parents and then insults them for how they treated her. She values love and mercy above all else then seems to scoff at the idea of it.
I believe her to be polyfragmented because, well, the MV, and also I think it would explain why she could still be a system even despite the "evidence" a character used on her as proof that she couldn't be one. Her system may work in groups, so Amane could for most of the time always be "around" within a main fronting group, so to speak, even if she's not in control. The way in which MILGRAM measures if a prisoner is the prisoner or not (since it's their mind that is considered the prisoner, not necessarily the body) could still gauge that Amane is the one there if she's still co-fronting or co-con as other alters do their thing. This would keep the prisoner restrictions on her, which was what was used as proof that she was "just Amane" (ie. a singlet).
Last but definitely not least, she has a recurring "gag" in what are called MINIGRAMs. They're basically just silly little comics showing the prisoners day-to-day interactions with each other as well the the prison guard. This recurring gag is the "Amane Council". If she's being faced with a decision she needs to make but is heavily conflicted about it, it shows a council meeting being held in her head with 3 different Amanes debating on what to do.
Final verdict: She is a system.

OK SO, gonna be a mix of canon and modern au
disclaimer i have so many varian Thoughts but they're all so mixed up so pardon the disjointedness of it all
varian has a big sweet tooth. he's got a weakness for little treats and when he goes off on his adventure he's trying so hard to be a Responsible Adult and eat well balanced meals but sometimes there's a lil voice in his head going "...cupcakes could be dinner."
hugo knows of this weakness and exploits it, constantly. He'll piss varian off just a bit too much and then later that day he's like "oh? what's this? rock candy i made myself with my own alchemy equipment? dyed it blue too, wow, imagine that."
varian hates this bc he KNOWS what hugo is trying to do, he's aware that it's a bribe, and part of him is going 'candy is NOT an apology' meanwhile the other part of him is going 'but he made it himself. with his own stuff. and he made it blue, he wouldn't put that much work into something unless he was actually a little bit sorry deep down, right?'
just becomes a thing that they do later in their relationship where hugo will still make him a lil sweet if he makes him mad or annoyed
his favourite sweet though is candied rose petals
varian doesn't like the crusts on sandwiches. especially sour dough, too tough and chewy.
doesn't want to admit that though so he'll usually eat them anyways. or give them to ruddiger bc he hates wasting food
bites his hands a lot. chews on his knuckles, he's given himself a few scars like that. the gloves are there to protect his hands from himself as much as they are to protect him from fire hazards

modern varian doesn't really dress that different from canon tbh. he likes the way vest make his chest flatter, sometimes he doesn't even have to wear a binder
he gets bullied for this during his younger teen years but then when he goes off to college no one gives a shit, ppl either think it's kind of cool or they mind their business. everyone is showing up to class in their pajamas anyways, no one cares about the one dude with custom cufflinks and arm bands.
god speaking of binders and shit i have so many thoughts about varian's relationship with gender (modern and canon) and especially with him going on t so if anyone wants to hear that mess lmk but the quick version is that he's nervous about it bc even if he has some dysphoria he's also Ok with how he looks and he's scared about it being such a big step for him
never gets top surgery (i do like drawing him with top surgery scars sometimes so awijf I Contradict Myself Constantly)
he's really good at bowling. just, for no reason. he's a fantastic bowler, if he were to actually try he could get perfect games every time.

LAUGH HEADCANONS bare with me I'm not great with describing laughter
Peppino: Might do a tiny giggle or full on cackles. I don't see him happy enough, so I feel like he has a good sense of humor. (He's both hehehehehe and GAHAHAHAHAAAAA). Sometimes wheeze if you make him laugh hard enough.
Gustavo: Definitely chuckles. I feel like he has a jolly, goofy laugh. Probably laughs at silly little things. Tries to make Peppino laugh a lot. Brick makes him laugh quite a bit. (Huh huh huh huh huh!)
Mr. Stick: Definitely has a nasally cartoony laugh like he has in game. Has a broken sense of humor. Probably laughs at the funnies or cheesy jokes. (Nyeh heh heh heh!)
Pepperman: LOUD and obnoxious. I really like the laugh the v/a did in temorinki's video. Like Mr. Stick, he has a terrible sense of humor. Really likes Garfield comics, thinks they're hilarious. (HAHAHAHAHA HA HA HA!!!!)
The Vigilante: Old man laugh, you can still hear his accent through it. He doesn't laugh much, he's a super serious guy. Imagine an older, slower, western Seth Rogan laugh. (Gyeh heh heh heh!)
The Noise: Has many laughs. His true, authentic laugh is a bit nasally and interrupted by sudden gasps for air (HAHA *inhale* HAHAHAHA *inhale*). He might snicker or laugh through his nose. He might even full blown cackle. (KAA HA HA HAA HAA HAAAAA).
Noisette: Also has a couple laughs. She giggles more and will snort if you make her laugh hard enough (she gets super embarrassed about it). She also has a loud cackle when she finds something hysterical. (Hehehehehe *snort* hehehe! or HAAAHAHAHAAAAHAAAAAAA!)
Fake Peppino: His laugh isn't much of a laugh and more of sounds. The sounds he makes while laughing are more similar to the noises he makes in game but shorter. (Hmm! Hmmmm! Hmmmm! or GHAHSGHEJSJSA!)
Pizzaface: His is basically just the in game, maybe a few different pitches up when something is REALLY funny.
Pizzahead: Giggles or cackles. Loves laughing at people's misfortune, thinks Peppino's misery is HILARIOUS. His laugh is basically the one he has in game. (HA HA HA HA HA! or Tee he he he he!)
Pillar John: DEEP and throaty laughter. Very jolly guy. His laugh is loud enough to cause an earthquake. Also has a very monkey-like laugh like the one he has in game. (GAHAHAHAHA!! or OHH HOO HOO HOO)
Gerome: Doesn't laugh much, but his laugh is kind of like John's; deep and jolly. He might give a small "heh..." here and there, but when he laughs, he laughs HARD. (GAAAAHAAAAAHAAAHAAAA!!!)

i love all the comics coming out about luz explaining bisexuality to hunter theyre all so fucking funny and choice. i gotta join the headcanon train i've been thinking about how this would go down and CANNOT stop imagining, just. like. god
hunter already knows he finds any gender attractive. however hunter did NOT know that there's a word for this. he basically asks luz why there's a word for "water is wet" and luz is like oh boy. alright i'm not explaining homophobia to you. but hunter are you. are you aware that.... that not...... not everyone. is bisexual
hunter was not aware of this. hunter finds this entire concept both baffling and vexing. so he immediately starts in with a million threads of "but HOW. but WHY. but that MAKES NO SENSE" that just get increasingly autistic. while luz is like I DUNNO DUDE. SEXUALITY IS FLUID I CAN'T WRITE YOU A THESIS ON IT RN I AM FOURTEEN YEARS OLD I'M JUST ONLINE
hunter's like "but that's STUPID!!!" luz is like my man. my guy. my dude my pal. you have No Idea how many microaggressions you're committing right now. Ohhh My God
then in trying to explain it Again, luz is very patiently like "well i like a lot of different types of people! amity likes girls exclusively though. it's just how she is"
which causes hunter to get caught in another loop of "BUT WHY THOUGH. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH BOYS THEY LOOK NICE"
"she's just never liked a boy like that!"
"BUT WHAT IF ONE DAY SHE MEETS A NEW BOY AND THEN-"

hunter's like well okay fair enough i don't care enough about it to tread on people's toes. but also i hate this. i hate that you have cursed me with this knowledge and that i'm going to lay awake haunted for at least a week trying to figure it all out. why doesn't everybody in the entire world just do things that make sense to me, someone who is completely normal and rational about everything all the time
luz is like. alright drama queen. we can find some books and articles and stuff about it. is that cool??
hunter agrees to this and immediately perks up upon being told that there's an entire field of study just dedicated to stuff like this. but then after a second, still sounding just as vexed as before, he goes "i feel like i must be missing something obvious. i don't even know what gender MEANS"
"okay. what if.... i tell you...... that there are words for that, too."
"NOOOOOOOOOO,"
and basically all of this deeply silly nonsense resolves with luz just being like. alright my bisexual genderqueer weirdo broski whom i love so much. PLEASE ask me for etiquette tips before you go out and meet Literally Any gay people at all in the human world, anywhere, ever. i am Fucking Begging You,

Apparently, he had a quick chat with Abby, and their conversation ended up drifting off into music, because a couple of days later…
"Yo! So you're the dude with the synthesiser?"
It was nine in the morning. I hadn't slept well, I panicked, so...
"Uh... No."
"Damn."
Of course, afterwards I met him in the saloon, where I apologised for the strange situation... I was terribly ashamed, but Sam even seemed to have forgotten about it. I was amazed at his ease and nonchalance.
It was a long time ago… We were just starting to play and looking for ourselves in everything. It was cool to exchange various experiences with him and learn something new, to see the world from a completely different perspective.
I didn't notice how we suddenly started spending more and more time together. It's so weirdly funny. I don't know if I can say like this, but Sam gave me… Um… A new life?
Sam was too bright for my life, in every sense, but his figure seemed to be essential to me. For the first time in a long time, someone was able to bring a little bit of reckless drive into my existence… And so… Here we are now.

A/N: because the specials are coming out soon(the first episode of the three part special is coming out tomorrow I’m so excited I missed ten and Donna) I wanted to combine my two prominent special interests. Starting off chaotically
It was SUPER HARD to figure out who he fits
Like genuinely so hard it took me SO LONG
But I think he does fit Nardole in the way that both of them are loyal to their friends and very no nonsense when it comes to their responsibilities
Like I know that Seb seems antisocial in the game but like it’s mostly when he needs to get work done (which is always) which seems to me more like he needs to get his shit done in order to do anything else his responsibilities come first
Nardole is the same in that yes he loves his friends but shit needs to get done and that’s what’s important first, no distractions, no going off the beaten path, just do what needs to be done
Also Nardole seems passive he isn’t very submissive actually. Like yeah he gets scared but like Nardole is good at taking charge when he needs to
Sebastian is the same he seems quiet and submissive when in actuality he just doesn’t take charge unless he has to
Also Nardole isn’t anything more than a platonic relationship and I think that despite how attractive Sebastian is, he would probably prefer things to stay on the platonic side of things rather than fuck everything up with romance
Also would think it would be cool to be a humanoid cyborg thing

I feel like Bill was a funny companion and her personality fits Sam
I mean they both seem chill and excitable
And both are very in tune to their emotions and able to understand what other people are feeling
I also think that Sam would be a more platonic companion rather than romantic.
Also I do think in serious times that Sam could be a little intimidating.
Both are extremely wrong and loving towards those they view as friends
And I feel like both are easy to get along with.
Also would be both comic relief and exposition
Also Bill is very inquisitive and curious and very smart
And I feel like that describes Sam somewhat with the curiosity
I feel like he would ask so many questions that everyone around him would be annoyed even though he’s doing it to gain an understanding of what is happening around him.

Both of these people have very horrible self esteem issues
Like both feel a negative way about themselves
Think they’re unimportant and stupid that they’re just some person that exists and that they aren’t special at all
I think the main difference between them is that Donna carries herself differently
She will scream at the world to get it to listen to her, Shane just accepts that no one cares to listen to him and it makes him spiral more
Like Donna speaks about herself in a very sad way through her episodes
And so does Shane. Most of his conversations are just insulting to him and downplaying how much he means to anyone in general
Donna saved the doctors life by being there
And in a way Shane saved Jas’ life by being alive because he is her guardian even though she stays with Marnie in the game
He is her literal guardian
Without him who k owns where she would’ve ended up?
Also both are funny
I think Shane would be an extremely funny companion

Graham O’Brian
Silly goofy old man
Is absolutely confused
Like I know Harvey is a doctor and all
But dude would be absolutely lost in every situation if it isn’t medical related.
I wanted to cast him as Martha but I don’t think he fits her very well
Like the only thing he has in common with her is the doctor thing

Can he save people?

But I do not think he could go through the year that never was like Martha did
This is why I think he’s similar to Graham
The old man is very protecting and loving and the main point is even though he’s terrified I don’t think Graham ever refuses to try to save anyone
And even if he did it was in a very sad way like he thought there is no way to save them.
I think Harvey would be similar

I swear Elliott fits this role too well

I think there is something about guys specifically that lose their mothers that act similarly
Like they both seem closed off to people and use either humor or being standoffish to keep from actually showing their feelings
And when they feel their feelings it’s in an angry and unfair type of way
Also Ryan loved his grandmother more than anything having being raised by her(I think?)
And Alex has been being raised by his grandparents and I do like to think that he is a grandma’s boy even though he does love his grandfather as well
I also think he would be the one to ask how people are doing on the side.
Like without anyone noticing he would be like “hey you okay?”
Is actually super sweet when he works through his insecurities and becomes one of the best companions due to his compassion grounding the doctor
Like is super sweet during the later half of his season or maybe the second season he’s in.
Maru

I think that Maru fits Yaz well
It took me a minute to decide but when I went back to read the wiki I realized that they are very similar
Both are very ambitious and want to be the best in their fields
And both love to learn and are naturally curious
Both are very focused on their jobs and in Maru’s case she’s very focused on her work in science
Maru doesn’t really have friends or relationships thanks to (Demetrius) her focusing on her work and Yaz is the same, never bringing friends home or anything because she’s focused on growing and becoming head of the police force.
I also think Maru would be very in love with traveling with the doctor and the doctor themself
Maru already likes robotics and science in general, traveling throughout time and space would be perfect for her
She would fall in love with the doctor and want to travel forever
I also think that due to her having feelings she would grow in confidence and in protectiveness
Would shove the Master to the ground in anger because wtf do you think you’re doing?
After returning home would probably be depressed and lost without the person she thought she would be with forever
Abigail
Amy Pond no doubt about it
I think they both have the same level of chaos and love of adventure
Like Amy is a very first girl that is sort of sensitive and hides it behind her confident and toughness
I can see Abigail being similar
All they want is to have adventure and not be forced into some role they are supposed to play
I can see Abigail being the girl who waited
Out of the characters she would be the one to survive so long in a foreign place and waiting the entire time
Only to have rescue come when she finally lost hope so she’s pissed off at them and hurt but not really wanting to show it because showing it is weakness.
Like Amy I think she would have a crush on the doctor for like a second because who wouldn’t when being offered the chance to explore the universe by the most mysterious person you’ve ever met
But that crush would go away quickly and would be boiled down to a platonic relationship.

Martha Jones

She and Martha are similar personality wise instead of like oh they both have the same career or something
Like I feel like out of all the bachelor(ettes) that she would be the one to survive the year that never was
Like I think she is a lot stronger than people think she is
And she would be the one I can see having a crush on the doctor but not letting it get in the way of doing what she needs to do
Also would leave a toxic situation quite easily
And by easily I mean it would take a lot of strength but she does it beautifully
She did it before when leaving her ex to go to Pelican Town and she would be strong enough to leave the doctor.
Both are very headstrong and firm in their beliefs
And I do think Leah has a temper, she doesn’t prefer to use violence but will if she has to.
Being with the doctor only makes her stronger and when she leaves she uses her knowledge to help
Penny
Rose Tyler
Not just because they both were raised only by their moms
I think that Penny has the Rose quality about her when it comes to romance. Like I could easily see her being the love interest for the Doctor, and being the one they get torn from in the end.
And not to be a hater but I can totally see myself getting annoyed at her the more the romance grows
Because Ten and Rose started to become annoying when the romance became sort of the focus (yes I am a nine and rose enjoyer)
Like them Penny and her doctor would get so “obsessed” for each other that they start to not see the importance and impact of what they’re doing.
Like yes traveling through space and time is a silly goofy thing but at the same time you’re messing with peoples lives. Like even if you’re saving them, you’re still messing with them and it needs to be taken seriously instead of thought of as dates and “fun”
But on the cuter side I can see her being the type of person to slowly and quietly make her way into someone’s heart and make them remember that life is worth living.
Emily
River Song
She has that air of weirdness about her like River does
Like isn’t around all the time
And out of everyone I think Emily would be the one to meet the doctor out of order.
Like tell me I’m wrong
Out of everyone her timeline would be the one that’s backwards
And while I don’t think Emily has the violent streak in her I do think she would be part time lord like River is
Also I think she could be the one to get married
Both are strong and smart and knows what they know and don’t need anyone to help or tell them different because it’s not going to change their minds at all
Like yes she knows what she’s doing is unconventional but it’s what she’s doing and she’s almost 100 percent sure that it’s going to work so back off

Because I think Clara and her are similar

but could you imagine some of the boys and girls in the clan teasing you because you're really reserved and don't really take part in the stuff villagers your age do?
you stand on the edge of feasts, not really taking part in the song and dance because you're shy,
you don't really like taking part in hunting because you don't like hurting the creatures even if it's the natural order of life on pandora,
like you've completed your rite and all that, but you spend a lot of time on your own.
maybe you work with mo'at closely and spend a lot of time doing research in the forest and are especially close with nature and the cycle of life.
could definitely see that one of the first times lo'ak stumbles upon you, you're petting the cub of tapirus, singing it a song as it snoozes with its head in your lap.
could see you and lo'ak becoming close because he knows what it's like to be alone (crying bc i'm remembering when he was talking to payakan adsflasdlf).
learns that you're his polar opposite in disposition, but you two are also so similar and he sees who he wants to be in you.
could see him being kind of scared to let you know about his inevitably budding feelings because he thinks you're so sought after, but finds that you don't have many friends aside from kiri and a few other villagers.
and it's sad bc it's not like you don't want friends, if anything, you'd really like to share the depth of your love for the forest with villagers your age, but they think you're weird because you talk to plants and cry when animals are hurt.
i think that lo'ak wouldn't have really realized that they were making fun of you until you guys start spending more time together and he notices that there are times when you look a lil sad
when he tries prying, you give him the sweetest smile and tell him it's silly.
when he keeps pushing, you probably just hug him tight, cheek smooshed against his heart as you assure him that you're a big girl.
you keep it locked tight like a vault because you're not a very confrontational person, just avoid conflict and stay in your own corner of the forest.
it isn't until there's one day, still new to your established relationship, where he's lowkey trailing you and you don't even notice. you're cornered by a group of villagers who tug on one of your braids and step on your tail.
"gonna have a little party with your plant friends?" or something stupid like that.
maybe the girls are jealous because you're the center of the sully's attention?
like with neteyam, he's really sweet and i wouldn't really say attainable, but accessible? the girls think they could have a chance with him,
but with lo'ak, he's reckless and a free spirit and not really emotionally available to the girls.
and of course this is a thrilling idea to some of them, but when they notice that he's spending a lot of time around you, it makes them green.
there's definitely a certain point in time where things shift and you notice that people are probably acting a little differently towards you, kind of including you more & this makes you scratch your head because ???
you probably find out that lo'ak beat the shit out of one of the main guys that tease you and warned the others that if he hears even a whisper of them making you sad, he'll string them by their tails.
dude who makes fun of you kinda just stews, but relents because after all, lo'ak is the olo'eyktan's son.
you start making a few more friends after that, maybe start being more vocal about the forest and people start seeing why lo'ak caught feelings.
the girls can still be a little vicious though.
like maybe when you and lo'ak pass by, one of them says something super bitchy like "i wonder what spell she has the olo'eyktan's son under for him to be whipped over someone so plain."
you hear it, but pretend not to and lo'ak's watching your reaction closely.
probably stops in his tracks and turns on the group of giggling girls, his shadow looming over their circle shutting them right up.
"watch what you say about my girl."

you definitely can't keep the smile from growing on your face as lo'ak rejoins you a few feet away, fingers curling through yours and tail swishing.

heres my HMS headcanons because i am bored
starting off with . sexualities
heart: asexual, panromantic
soul: pansexual
mind: aroace [this is partially because i am projecting]
i don't always follow the heart with wings headcanon / design but i like to follow it occasionally just bc i think it's neat. now i like to think he uses them to help him navigate, sort of like a cat's whiskers or a cane. since he's like wearing a blindfold i imagine that when he's thrown off or disoriented he fluffs up his wings to at least get some sense of direction to ground himself
one of my favorite headcanons i have is that mind has a little digital voice recorder that he likes to log every day in, like a diary. after careful consideration i have decided it's a Diasonic DDR-3000 Handheld Digital Voice Recorder [yes i copy and pasted that]. it's one of his favorite items and he uses it to keep just one constant thing going, since i imagine he relies on schedules [logic!! whoa] and probably has a touch of the 'tism. in case you are wondering this is inspired by steven universe and no i'm not apologizing
i also headcanon heart to not be completely blind. rather, i imagine him to just be really sensitive to light. so, his blindfold is kind of see through, but not totally. just enough to make it so that he's not blinded [haha] by light all the time. this is partially based on THA and light, but also just one i kinda settled on.
i actually don't have many headcanons for soul. he's a rather silly guy and i usually stick to canon. but i do headcanon him to just randomly start talking to us, the viewers, out of no where. mind and heart just think he's insane
headcanon for all of them including whole . in the system hc/au, heart and mind almost never front . its always either whole or soul. their friends don't know they're a system and just kinda assume whenever soul is front that whole is just feeling a bit silly. but when heart or mind do end up fronting their friends are like "dude what Happened to you" HDJSNF like . mind fronts and he's just being mind and whole's friends are staring at him like 😦. soul, heart and whole are probably worried about telling their friends that they're a system but mind doesn't care and tells them anyways . they end up being chill about it
the senses of the main 5 that mind wouldn't mind [haha] losing are taste and touch. but he would hate to lose smell, eyesight, or hearing, which is why he doesn't understand how heart is so chill wearing a blindfold all the time.
kind of expanding on that one above, but not directly related to it, mind argues that he'd prefer to keep smell to help with stuff like fires, gas leaks, spoiled food, etc. but he doesn't say it's mainly because he really likes candles. he loves candles and their different scents. he probably lights up a ton around him and soul walks in to see him like sitting in a circle and assumes he's trying to like summon the fucking devil or something and just leaves
mind is allergic to cats. heart tried to bring one in once and mind died [joke he just had an allergic reaction] so that's when soul jumped at the opportunity to be like "why not get a chicken instead"
mind always insists on eating the healthy and "logical" foods . but sometimes soul will find mind at 3 am treating himself to a singular cookie and then hurriedly trying to hide it. heart and soul wouldn't tease him about it if he didn't try to keep it a secret.
sorry [not] there's so many mind headcanons but that is because i am a mind fan . shit i forogt???? help???? ill remember it one day. i'll just give a different one . mind loves weighted blankets

As a Greek Tintin fan, I have a very dumb theory about Tintin’s real name. In French, Tintin is a nickname for names that end in -tin like Augustin, Martin, Constantin etc. There’s a Greek movie titled «Σούλα έλα ξανά» where the protagonist is raised by her three aunts who all want her to have the nickname Soula so they legally give her three names (Anastasia, Aspasia, Athanasia) that can all have the nickname.
My silly little head canon is that Tintin was raised by an extended family so he has a ridiculous amount of first names, all of which are adjacent to the nickname Tintin.
Okokok first of all my dude you just became my favourite asker ever! No one before managed to cause me three strokes at once and so many conflicting feelings in one rollercoaster message and In the end you just made me realize how much I lovehateBUTLOVE this movie! I love this headcanon for so many reasons, first of all, Augustin Quentin Martin Remi slaps and second, it led me to draw this:

For you guys who have the big misfortune of not knowing this movie and reference, I'll try to make it more clear under the cut!
This movie is a romantic comedy, called "Σούλα 'Ελα Ξανά" (Soula Ela Xana= Soula Come Again, yes it is basically an acronym for sex, bare with me), released back in 2009 and it shaped who I am now and I wish I was kidding.
The plot focuses on Soula, a 30-year-old elementary teacher who receives gifts from her four exes on her birthday, which leads her to revisit the diary she kept as a child. When she finds a page where she promises she will be married by 30, she panics and decides to act. Said action is planning a game of who from the four exes deserves her second chance and she will marry the winner. For that, she invites them to the island she works (without them knowing her game) and calls her two girl best friends to help her. Before you pity the four gorgeous men, take into account that one is pathologically jealous, one is a cheating casanova, one is a momma's boy, and one is tight-fisted, so really they asked to be dumbed. Who among the four will reach Soula's heart and maybe it has already been reached by her friend who vouches to never get married?
Spoiler: Soula decides not to marry any of the four but her friend- who found out about her marrying and made him realize his feelings for her- shows up and asks to marry him because he loves her and wants to share his life with her and so they get married. It's a typical happy ending in a Greek movie, what did you expect? At least it doesn't feel forced, believe me!
It is a very weird movie with some old dated jokes but damn it is entertaining and the main theme song is so catchy?! Despite the first impression, it has some very interesting points: Soula is a happy, independent woman, who shares her friend's opinion on marriage and having children aren't what they need, until society's expectations and mostly the pressure she puts herself crushes on her and her judgment, until the very end she manages to get her sense back and realize how wrong she was and how much she was unfair with these men but mostly with herself. The four men show how willing they are to change (especially the jealous one knows he has a serious problem and tries to surpass it) but they don't necessarily succeed, at least for Soula, and that underlines how some people's attributes can't be tossed away entirely and the effort must be first of all for ourselves and later for the partner that will be there to support us. Marriage is shown in different lights and for Soula in the end it means companionship and commitment but not happiness necessarily if there's no love. For her friend, marriage was something that would take his freedom and fun away only to realize that it doesn't feel like that with his friend, a woman he came to love and care.
Ok I have many thoughts on this movie and I didn't expect I would analyze it in a Tintin post in 2023 but here we are.
