Grace Chasity headcanon rambles!

Some silly Grace hcs for @nighthaterfrfr!! I tried to mostly avoid any of mine that you mentioned something similar to in yours bc we had a good deal of overlap! :D

(Just to preface, one of my biggest headcanons is that Grace is autistic so there’s a good chance that some of these may be influenced by that! I did try to pick ones that are more applicable to canon though! [But if anyone wants any of those, I have about a million :3])

When Grace was a young child in elementary school (or Sunday school), she very innocently kissed Alice Woodward and felt something™. (She entirely represses this memory for YEARS.)

^ During her eventual sexuality crisis, despite not having talked to Alice for years outside of polite conversation if they ran into one another, Grace reaches out to her for support/to ask questions because she was the only out queer person that Grace knew and trusted enough not to out her. (Alice big sister mode activated.)

^ (They’re so silly, they’ve literally never interacted outside of a throwaway line about them knowing and possibly disliking each other but to me they're friends who fell apart and eventually find each other again when they're both more grown as people.)

^ Also, ignore me indulging my other biggest hc which is that Grace is a lesbian.

Grace took piano lessons as a child and is actually quite good because she wanted to be the pianist for her church’s masses when she got older! She stopped taking lessons in high school, but she keeps up with playing in her free time to maintain the skill and occasionally help out with music at her church.

^ Richie constantly tries to convince her to learn anime openings and music from games that he plays for him (he begged her to learn Megalovania for weeks until she finally gave in).

She has never celebrated Halloween because her parents think it’s satanic so Ruth and Richie (who definitely still go trick-or-treating in high school) make a point to bring her some of their candy on the following school day.

^ She definitely doesn’t cry about this gesture later when she goes home!!

She is an absolute monster while playing board games, like she gets REALLY aggressive about them.

^ (definitely influenced by Angela's chaos on smosh games, especially the “be a little more gentle!! >:(” clip)

She can’t go to sleep (intentionally) without getting a kiss goodnight. At home, her parents kiss her on the forehead before bed and if she’s at camp, she has to get a kiss on the head from Girl Jeri if she wants to sleep well.

^ It disrupts her routine which makes it harder for her to wind down!!

^ I like to think that before the events of Abstinence Camp, she thought of Boy Jerry and Girl Jeri as older sibling figures.

She has never been to a sleepover because she’s never had good enough friends to be invited to one :(

^ The nerds + Steph very quickly remedy this!!

^ (quick ramble related to the last hc) During the first group sleepover, Steph wakes up in the middle of the night to get a drink, realizes Grace is still up, and after Grace sheepishly admits her dilemma following Steph’s prompting for an explanation, Steph very casually plants a kiss on her forehead and then goes back to sleep. Grace’s face is beet red after this and now she can’t sleep for an entirely different reason.

^ They're in love to me!!!

LIB related

(Based almost entirely on Blinky’s line about watching Grace and the nightmare about Max/Richie that implies she has the gift.)

^ Grace has been connected to the Lords in Black since long before we see her, Steph, and Pete summon them in NPMD.

^ Much like Lex was friends with Webby as a child and forgot, Grace was friends with the LIB when she was young but grew out of it.

^ (I have a whole little overanalysis/hc set of things for this hc if anyone wants to hear :3)

After she starts using the Black Book, her appearance starts to very slightly change so that she always looks just a tiny bit off.

^ Her teeth are just a touch too sharp, her ears have the slightest point to them, and her eyes almost seem to shift in colour (depending on which LIB is influencing her).

^ But hey, it must just be a trick of the light!! She's so normal!! Dw about it!!!

She will occasionally feel the sudden compulsion to bite others (Nibbly is feeling silly!!)

^ She does not act on this… most of the time :3

One more silly one to end on

She once owned a Tamagotchi and became so deeply stressed over the state of this virtual creature that she made herself sick from anxiety.

^ Karen and Mark confiscated the toy very shortly after this.

Anyway ramble's over now but my 45 page google doc of Grace hcs continues to grow every day bc I am fixated hard on this silly little show :3

also idk why on mobile the sleepover hc and the Alice hc got cut short?? The sleepover one is supposed to say that now she can't sleep for an entirely different reason and the end of the second bullet says (Alice big sister mode activated).

he always offers to take u out with brazil during the international break

overall, he's just a really amazing dude

grace is in her mid-twenties instead of her thirties, but she still has kids. we're going with a four year old and a two year old. she recently left her her husband because he's trying to go like... fundamentalist as opposed to her very evangelical roots. think quiverful and stop being active in community life shit. and grace is like??? uh... no? we are having Four Children and i have Very Important Things to Do and When Our Kids Are In Grade School I'm Going Back to School and Into the Workforce, jerk? (the jerk is gabe.)

she decides to divorce him and is suddenly... a single mother with two young children and no work experience. oh boy. mark and karen aren't HAPPY about her divorcing her husband, but they also trust her judgement and aren't actually from the very patriarchal and Procreation Is the Only Way to Honor God school of fundies. the chastities only have one kid, after all, and for all their faults... they seem like a loving couple. i dunno. i'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one.

so grace, mother of two and recent divorcee, enrolls in greendale community college and moves back in with her parents, who help her take care of the kids.

steph- as jeff. this is not because the names rhyme but that IS kind of funny. she's in her mid twenties and just got disbarred for Not Having A Law Degree, How the FUCK Did You Fake That?!?!?!?!? hint: her dad is a lawyer both before and after becoming the mayor and steph is very good at just. making shit up and trying to sound like she knows what she's talking about.

she ran away from home late in high school and slowly built up a life for herself and a job and a string of partners that she couldn't really connect with because, huh. maybe lying about your age and your schooling and your everything makes it difficult to connect with people emotionally? who woulda thought.

her friend ziggy is a professor at the school and is able to get her in, and she realizes that since she's actually here. in school. she has to figure out how to scrape by. a... study group? maybe? ugh. she hates that idea.

pete- as annie edison. he's 20 years old and still trying to cling to his high school dreams by his teeth. unlike annie edison, he was bullied extensively, but JUST like annie edison he was very successful in high school and a lot of that was because of misuse of stimulant medications.

due to an overdose during high school finals week, he's able to graduate but lost his spot as valedictorian because he got zeroes on his finals and final projects due to missing it. he also did not get to walk at graduation because he was. hospitalized. as the doctors tried to figure out how to wean him off these things and deal with the interactions between his diabetes and a constant misuse of stimulants for over a year.

rehab took almost a year, and his parents are so unpleasant about his failures and the fact that he lost out on all these amazing schools he applied to for getting caught that they can't even. be kind about him recovering at all or getting into community college SO that he can go to a university like he hoped. it gets so nasty with his parents that he packs it up and moves onto ted's couch, which at least. is better than being guilted for breathing at home.

HE is the first one that steph approaches about a study group, but not as much because she wants to sleep with him (like jeff and britta) as because he seems like he'd do her homework for her and "a group" that's only them will make sure he doesn't think this is a DATE but also if she doesn't look for anyone else she doesn't have to deal with that.

ruth- as britta, but she's the one who least easily maps onto her character. a lot of that's because britta is a lot less well written than the others? the big thing we're going with for ruth is that she's done a LOT but she's been unsuccessful with stuff. protests, relationships, acting career, community organizing, relationships. she's in her early thirties and back in her hometown trying to take care of some gen eds so she can get licensed to teach acting and make some kind of consistent money.

she is VERY horny, she is actually quite talented, and now that she's not a bullied high schooler anymore she is actually super hot. that's the reason that when she says she wants to join the "study group" when she overhears steph pitching it to pete steph decides to actually go with it. (they have an on again off again thing for a while but it doesn't really work out. steph and ruth end up making each other MORE insecure and really digging into each other's tender spots.)

richie- as abed! he has so much autism! he draws manga and relates to the world through anime! he decides to attach himself to steph very early on because he's like "now that's an anime protagonist right there ladies and gents" and she's like i don't know what that means. and he's like!!!!!!! YOU!!!!!! iT MEANS YOU!!!!!!! his relationships with everyone becomes the heart of the story and he is NOT a loser.

max- as troy. he took a terrible fall right before his team went to state. they probably would have won if he was playing, but he wasn't. so they lost. he was injured so badly that he spent a month in a wheelchair, a few months on crutches and then a long time in physical therapy. he kept thinking that maybe (maybe!) he could still play college ball and trying to pitch himself to schools desperately over the summer, but he can't and his grades were shit. so he was only able to get into greendale.

he doesn't still do physical bullying (largely because he's still shaky from his injury) but he is VERY mean and joins the study group for two reasons: grace decided to insert herself into the situation and he thinks it's really hot she turned him down and is older, and two: he knows he won't make it through this community college thing by himself. he doesn't have any leeway anymore from being a sports star and he knows he's bad at school.

pete doesn't want to let him in because they went to high school together (like annie and troy) but max was his bully instead of his far off crush. so he's like yeah no thank you i am not interested in this. if he's here i'm leaving. and the whole rest of the group knows that he's going to pull them through this by the teeth so they're like maxwell jagerman if you do not Make Amends to that boy we aren't gonna let you sit at our lunch table. he's almost ready to see if he can just bully someone else into tutoring him instead, but then grace gets flirty like If You Repent Maybe I willllll go for you. so he tries to make things better and they become A Study Group

slowly, he starts to grow as a person and open himself up to having fun and being kind. he and grace have a romantic entanglement that the whole group just HATES that eventually dies, and then he and richie get into a Whatever Troy and Abed have going on. i think it's qpr but interpret how you wish

ziggy is a botany professor and what? of COURSE they're not growing weed in the greenhouse to sell to emma perkins and her dispensary. hahaha you've got this all wrong they are an UPSTANDING professor of an UPSTANDING subject! which does not include marijuana!

grace and ruth, actually, eventually end up together after their entanglements with max and steph respectively. ruth is amazing with grace's kids? and she's also very very sexy and their roleplay helps grace feel... less bad about herself and her desires? she works through some internalized hatred for both having sexual desire and being bi and ruth both finds it all very attractive and is mature enough to help her through it? they both have The Life Experience that max jagerman and his very limited emotional intelligence... did not

steph and pete keep accidentally being attracted to each other and getting VERY upset about it because that is a guy that wears bow ties and is still so tightly wound he might snap and that's a girl who cheated her way through two degrees and a bar exam. the age difference is a little less than jeff and annie since i aged pete up a little and steph down a little, but it is still VERY weird and they cannot figure out if either of them even want to be in a relationship or if it would be good for them or what. but by god do they keep gravitating towards each other. and each time they collide again they're a little more compatible (I NEVER WANTED YOU AAANNNYYYWAAAYY)

The Story Max Jagerman Never Got to Tell (Silly Goofy things I think about if Max didn't die and had gotten a redemption arc)

So I like to think that he is very slow going at the whole being nice to people thing. Like outside of the main 5 he is still very much the Literal Monster, and even within the main friend group still verbally bullies them he just isn't physically hurting them anymore. As he learns and grows with them, he gets better. First learning to treat his friends on the football team better, and eventually tolerating the other nerds. He still slips up occasionally and says things in the moment that he regrets later, but he's learning to apologize when that happens.

I think once he finds out that the prank was Grace's idea, he is convinced that it was Grace secretly letting him know that she liked him back. He proceeds to start full on courting her: he walks to all her classes, he buys her flowers on special occasions, she even has special privileges to go to the football games (still early on in character development). One day when she goes, he introduces himself to her parents, and the Chastitys make it clear that no one outside of the church can date their daughter. So Max converts. Or at least tries to. He can never grasp his head around all the rules, and by the end of the week, he has decided that it's better if he and Grace are just friends.

At first, he mostly uses Pete as a free tutoring service. He's upset that Pete won't just let him cheat off of him like he did with Steph, but it doesn't even take Max that long to figure out why Steph is different. He makes Pete a deal that he will let him date Steph if Pete cheats for him. Pete talks him down to tutoring with the promise that if it doesn't work, then he will help Max cheat. It turns out that Pete is actually a really good teacher. Max also has certain learning disabilities (I'm gonna go with dyscalculia since we know he's in remedial algebra) that never went addressed since his dad refused to get him tested. Pete is able to show Max techniques that help, and once Max's head no longer hurts from looking at numbers too long, he begrudgingly admits that it's not so bad. Pete also notices that the halls are little quieter before and after Max's math class now.

He never really hung out with Steph that much before. They knew each other and flew in the same circles, but they never really talked before. Max definitely learns how not-okay his dad is by seeing how Steph's dad treats her. As they get closer, he starts getting madder and madder about how the Mayor talks about her. It takes a long time for him to reflect on what he's saying and realizes that his advice works on him too. Him and Steph start bonding over their horrible dads and help each other out when home gets to be a lot.

Ruth is the one that it is the hardest for him to vibe with. While the others he either finds something kinda cool about or can use, Ruth is...Ruth. He doesn't actively bully her anymore, but he doesn't go out of his way to be around her either. He does inadvertently teach her how to be cool though. It's not intentional, but he is less willing to put up with Ruth's whining about how unlovable she is than the others. One day, he starts yelling back to her that maybe if she wasn't constantly complaining about never having anyone around her, then maybe more people would want to be around her. The others call him out for being out of line, but it starts a path for Ruth about learning to be more confident in herself.

I think Richie is the first one to be onboard with the whole 'Max is suddenly chill with us' thing. He's seen enough anime to know a redemption arc when he sees one. He also has a more intense look on Max's growth being around him so much as the mascot. He's the first one to reach out to Max about coming over and watching some anime with him. Max is unsure at first, but Richie convinces him that Attack on Titan actual is really cool and has a lot of blood and guts and fighting in it, so Max agrees as long as Richie doesn't tell anyone what they're doing. Max actually does get really into it, but Richie notices that he seems pay more attention to the "found family" aspects and the character interactions than the fight scenes. He gives Max DVDs that he can watch on his own if he wants: a combination of shows and movies about sports, fighting, and some introspective character pieces as well.

Max also spends the most time at Richie's house than the others. Not necessarily because he prefers Richie, but because Richie has the most chill homelife (the Chastity's still bug him about coming back to church, Steph's dad reminds him to much of home, and Ruth's parents are convinced that he and Ruth are dating. Pete is a close second, but his weird older brother is over a lot, and Max just gets a bad vibe from him). He will just casually pop into Richie's window some nights and say that they are going to watch anime. Richie agrees obviously, but he also wonders what else is going on. It's only after a really personal episode of My Hero Academia that Max lets slip about his dad.

In short, Max Jagerman has so much potential, and it is a shame that he has been doomed by the narrative to never show it.

Sorry it took a while, but I finally got around to finishing these! This got a little long because I have a lot of Thoughts about these nerdy prudes (& jock)

Gotta start off with the queen p herself,

Grace Chasity

Even tho she’s an only child, she’s a great babysitter so I think she’s a very silly & playful ler

That said, she’s absolutely the kind of annoying preppy kid who’s way too friendly & thinks you’re close when you’re like, acquaintances at best & will try to tickle you randomly

Steph has actually punched her because she expected it to be Max or another bully. She said she was sorry even tho she wasn’t really that sorry lmao

She thinks that tickling is a wholesome enough activity to allow her peers to engage in it (yes, ALLOW them)

She prefers to give out quick pokes or squeezes rather than outright tickling unless she considers you a close friend

She prefers to be more on the giving end for some particular reason (power trip)

She’s pretty moderately ticklish in all the usual spots, probably a solid 6 out of 10 in total

She associates it with family bonding & her parents tickled her a lot as a kid, so it reminds her of a happy time in her life

Her worst spots are her tummy, neck & feet

Ruth

This poor touch starved baby is so lee you have no idea

She’s definitely more lee than ler mostly because she’s too shy to initiate anything herself

The only ones that are exempt are Peter & Richie because she’s gotta find some way to assert dominance in their group

Her favorite target is Richie because it’s the easiest way to win their playful arguments

The only place that’s off limits are her underarms. She’s way too self conscious to let anyone try to tickle her there & she’s afraid it would hurt because of the blisters, but she’s ticklish in plenty other places so she’s still easily wreckable

She’s absolutely part of this community are you kidding? She has a blog & writes fics & everything. She daydreams about her friends tickling her & cuddling her but she could never bring herself to tell them that she likes it

They know tho, she tries to entice them by stretching a lot & being sassy & it works most of the time. She also never tells them to stop either

Her most ticklish spots are her neck/ears, ribs & back

She gets so excited but also so NERVOUS if she thinks you’re about to tickle her, it’s the cutest thing ever. She stutters a lot & backs up & when she finally tries to make a run for it, she kinda just goes back & forth because she doesn’t know the best escape route & gets caught so easily

Has a really sweet, high pitched giggle that she thinks is embarrassing & she covers her face whenever she’s tickled

She has to work herself up to tickle someone, even if she’s getting revenge

Her first instinct when tickled is to curl up & hide

She gets really flustered when asked if she’s ticklish & it’s obvious that she is even when she insists she “really isn’t guys!”

Richie

He’s got the power of God & anime on his side, & he’ll need it with how ticklish he is!

He’s so jittery & twitchy any time you touch him because he’s used to his friends randomly tickling him because he always has such funny reactions

Flails around & screams before cackling at the top of his lungs

He likes to talk a big game to try & scare you off but as soon as your hands touch his sides he’s crumbling to the ground

Dude always wears shorts no matter the weather so his knees are free real estate

He also wears baggy shirts & hoodies so it’s so easy for Peter & Ruth to slip their hands inside when he’s least expecting it

Gets giggly & panicky right before an attack & desperately tries to bargain for a way out (it never works)

Despite how ticklish he is, he’s usually the one to instigate

It’s his go to method for winning an argument against Ruth, so long as she doesn’t strike first

He likes to deliver rapid pokes or squeezes while acting like he’s not doing anything

When he’s tickling his friends, he just carries on the conversation but he’s talking way louder to be heard over their laughter

He’s not super easily embarrassed because he’s fully aware cringe is dead but if you do get him to blush, he turns BRIGHT red

When he laughs he squints his eyes & leans forward & usually holds onto someone for support

He has a very loud & borderline shrill laugh

His worst spots are his ribs, sides, & knees (specifically the backs but you didn’t hear it from me)

Peter

This poor dude is SO lee coded, sorry I don’t make the rules

He’s the younger brother so Automatic Lee

Ted used to play goofy tickle games with him & now that he’s older he insists he’s “grown out of it” but Ted still instigates their old shenanigans. Sometimes he just gets a lil nostalgic & decides to torment his baby bro

Peter tries to act like he can’t stand them, but secretly he has just as much fun as Ted. It reminds him of when they used to be closer & things weren’t as bad, & it’s a way for them to connect after years of growing apart

That said, he will still fight tooth & nail to get away because he knows how ruthless Ted can be when it comes to him

Wasn’t until he was in high school that Peter really started gunning for revenge

Out of the nerd trio, he’s def the favorite target. He’s got a really adorable, infectious laugh & is kinda uncoordinated with his king gangly limbs, so he’s an easy target

When he tries to be the only reasonable one, they’ll tickle him until he caves in to their demands

He’s so skinny so the boney areas like ribs, hips & knees are gonna be major hot spots, but he’s crazy ticklish pretty much everywhere

He acts annoyed & put out after he’s tickled because he doesn’t want anyone to know he doesn’t really mind it, but he kinda over corrects into the “I’ve been waiting five fucking years” asshole territory

He has a very traditional, dorky laugh that’s high pitched & loud & he snorts a lot & it embarrasses him to no end but once Steph heard it she’s like “no this is the greatest sound I’ve ever heard”

He gets super giggly if you even threaten him with tickles & he starts to protect himself by hugging his arms around his chest but it does NOTHING to help & only gives them a clue as to where he’s ticklish

My favorite girlie pop, she tries to act so cool & aloof but she is actually sooo ticklish it’s not even funny (can’t stand the new trend of making all the girl characters unstoppable lers & not very ticklish while giving all the attention to the men. Girl bosses can be ticklish too!)

That said, she can do a pretty good job of hiding it if she doesn’t like the person trying to tickle her. But if her guard is down & she’s in a good mood, she’s a giggly mess in seconds

I think trying to hard to be the cool kid & the mayors daughter puts a lot of stress on her, so she’s pretty willing to let herself laugh & have fun otherwise

She only tickles people she’s close or comfortable with, but she likes to strike when they’re least expecting it

She has long nails & knows how to use them to get the best reactions

Her methods range from lightly dragging her nails over your skin to quick scribbles to ruthless squeezes. Her attacks are sporadic to keep her lee guessing & on the edge of their seat!

When she teases, it’s a lot of compliments & cooing over you & trust me, it’s just as flustering as it sounds

Just because she can hold her own in a tickle fight doesn’t mean she’s not devastatingly ticklish in her own right. She tries to claim she’s not as ticklish as she actually is, but it’s evident by how hard she’s laughing

Her laugh is really sweet & honestly such a bright sound it literally lights up a room. & don’t even get me started on her smile

Before she cracks & laughs she has the widest grin you’ve ever seen because she’s determined to stay tough & strong. It always starts with a giggle & works it’s way up to loud bubbly laughter

She has dimples but only when she’s REALLY smiling so most people don’t know. But you can see them when she’s getting tickled

Has actually used tickling to bully the nerds for a short while after the anti bullying assembly because “it doesn’t count if I don’t hurt them!” But it wore off kinda quick because he just liked hurting them more jxgaakdhf

He’ll still resort to it if he’s in a better mood than normal or wants to embarrass more than maim

Peter & Richie are the usual victims of this kind of torment, but he treats them a lot nicer when he’s tickling them than when he uses other methods

Still an asshole & his teases border more on the lines of bullying because he’s gotta stick to the brand

His normal victims tho are the other jocks. They roughhouse a lot & while he’s asserted his dominance as the top dog at school, during tickle fights his friends aren’t as scared to stand up to him & give him a taste of his own medicine

He gets a little too into it when tickling someone & can get a little rough sometimes. If he realizes he’s hurting rather than tickling he’ll be sure to lighten his touch because that’s not his goal at the moment

When he’s tickled he tries to throw punches so watch out! But if it’s his friends he’ll purposefully miss but try to act like he’s fighting for his life because there’s no way he likes this! It’s not fun, you’re making him laugh against his will!

Spoiler alert he does think it’s fun tho, he just won’t say

Poor Grace is his absolute favorite victim & he will launch surprise attacks on her in the halls when she least expects it. & while she does think it’s fun & wholesome, she knows that he doesn’t see it like that because he’s just a dirty dude! So she gets all flustered & huffy when he does it & he thinks she’s super hot when she’s angry & worked up

She’s got so fed up with his shit she gets in his face like “let’s see how YOU like it!” & his heart’s beating so fast because she’s so close to him & he’s right about to make a move & kiss her but instead screams at the top of his lungs when she digs into his sides

He’s more ticklish than he’s willing to admit & is more sensitive on the more toned parts of his body like abs, thighs & shoulders with his belly being his most ticklish spot

He’s lowkey embarrassed by tickling because he thinks it’s fun & makes him feel all giddy so he tries not to end up of the receiving end. It still happens tho😊

In one of the infinite timelines in Hatchetfield, the nerds’ plan works as planned & Max loves the party so much that he realizes he had them pegged all wrong & starts to hang out with them & is over all nicer to them & he doles out lots of playful tickle attacks on his favorite dorks

ZOEY CHAMBERS (Henrietta) is humbled beyond words to be part of such a groundbreaking production. Zoey has been entrancing audiences for years with her portrayal of badass girl-bosses like Sandy from Grease and Fantine from Les Misérables. Zoey would like to thank her brother, Zack, for giving her the acting bug all the way back in the third grade! It's ironic that Zack thought he was the actor of the family, but Zoey would go to completely overshadow him in every way. Sucks to suck, doesn't it, Zachary? Zoey would also like to thank her roommate and fellow cast member, Hailey! Hailey is perfectly cast in her small and inconsequential part. She got bullied and excluded by the whole cast, even though her job was just as important as theirs. More important, actually! Being in the cast is way better. You don't have to think of an excuse to barge into the dressing rooms. You can just waltz right in! Everybody takes off their shirts and lets their titties tumble free! It's the most awesome thing I've ever seen... I mean, she's ever seen. Anyways, Ruth doesn't wanna thank anybody because nobody ever did anything for her.

And because I haven’t seen anything that will satiate this hunger, I have taken it upon myself.. to write:

Stephanie stares at their target from across the room. The slender, dark haired man was easy to lose in the sea of posh black suits and champagne drinking snobs; every time she looked away, the guy would be shmoozing it up to some new group of people. It was ridiculous, he was like…. Her age!

“Hey,Jason,” Stephanie jabbed her elbow into the man next to her, startling him from his judgement of the hors d’oeuvres.

“What Imposter? Lose track of him again?”

“No jackass, tell me how is it that some richie 17 year old is running Drake Industries when I can’t even manage to pass my Biology exams?”

“Probably because you don’t study Steph,” a smushed voice answered from behind them. They both turned to see Duke struggling to swallow a crab-cake.

“… What are you doing, Duke?”

“It’s so dry you guys, I can’t swallow it, I’ve been trying for five minutes.” Duke mumbled, catching the crumbs that fell out as he did so.

“You know, it’s customary not to insult the host’s food when you been graciously invited to their gala,”

The trio whipped their heads around to look directly at the smooth voice who’d spoken just moments before.

“Though I don’t know how you’d know that, so I guess I’ll allow you a pass. Timothy Drake,” the man stuck his hand out in greeting, “What a pleasure to meet the newest of the Waynes. Duke, was it?”

Jason grasped the Timothy’s hand with a suppressed sneer as both he and Stephanie stepped forward to block Duke from sight, “I’m Jason, Todd-Wayne that is. I don’t believe we’ve met.”

Timothy half-smiled, “We have actually,” he dropped their hands, discreetly keeping his hand from touching his clothes, “Though it was before your.. accident so I can’t imagine you’d remember.”

Jason grit his teeth, “No, I guess I don’t.”

“All the same, while the invitation was open any of the Wayne family, I had hoped to see your Father in attendance, is he here?”

“Oh, he’s around here somewhere..” Steph gave a nervous laugh. No he wasn’t. Bruce was nowhere to be seen. In fact, Bruce was most likely looking through the Drake’s office finances. Y’know, the Drakes’ who’s son they were currently talking to. The one they were supposed to be watching.

That Drake.

“A shame. Well, if you see him, let him know I’m looking for him. I have… a business proposal for him,” Timothy’s lips twitched into a smirk as he drifted away to another group of chittering adults.

All three vigilantes stared after him, “Yeah, there’s no way he doesn’t know about the embezzlement.”

“Timothy Drake’s gotta go down.”

Kori! You know eventually you're going to regret asking me these things, but thank you for encouraging my brain worms. Let's do this.

Again, I've been thinking about it all day, could the Party defeat It?

I've said this before, but we pretty much know that the Loser's club were the blueprint for the Party. This is especially reflected in season one. For those who didn't know though, the Suffer brothers wanted to direct the It remake and when Warner Brothers said no, they went and created Stranger Things instead. Here's actually a pretty good article on that.

So let's set this in a universe where it's Holly that gets taken/killed by Pennywise. And I say Holly because Bill was blue print for Mike. Again though, Mike did grow into his own character in later seasons. Side note: I have whole another post with the Party and Losers Club comparisons and who was probably based on who.

Secondly let's say in this universe there's no powers and Max and El is already apart of the party. Just a group of regular kids against a monster. Can't give the Party an advantage if we're giving a fair judgement.

So Holly, she's gone. Mike? He wants to find her and kill the monster that took her. The Party obviously is going to help him, but first let's talk about how It would terrorize these poor kids.

It would taunt Mike like how It taunted Bill, with a corpse version of Holly. Also Ted and Karen, like Bill's parent's, become completely despondent to him but I would argue so would Nancy- We're going to get to that.

Lucas and Dustin would be taunted I would like to think with monsters from DnD. It's a shapeshifter after all. (Yes I know that's an oversimplification) But their fears could something else and I am open to suggestions on this.

El, who I would argue has similarities to Beverly, would be taunted with Papa and Max would be taunted with Billy. I would also argue that It would manipulate Billy into doing It's bidding like how It did with Bowers. Like how Billy was flayed, more parallels between St and It And Will, oh poor Will. I think Will is a mixture of Richie and Eddie and like how It tortured Richie, It would tortue Will with 'his secret'.

So now we know how It would terrorize them but what about Joyce, Hopper, and the teenage crew? In Stranger Things they help the Party against the dangers from the Upside Down but they're not helping against It. Especially Hopper and Joyce.

It isn't just a monster, It isn't like Vecna. It can control a whole town. Make the adults not notice the missing kids, make them numb to the evil It extrudes over the town. In Derry the parents of the missing kids eventually forgot about them. And you could argue, oh Joyce would be the exception but she's not. Bill's parents, who we know loved Georgie, forgot him. I love Joyce but she isn't overcoming that.

The teenagers are more of a different story, especially Nancy since it's her sister that got taken, but I think It would have the same affect on them. Especially since the teenage crew is so close to adulthood.

So the kids are their own. They don't get outside help like they do in Stranger Things.

It takes El, Mike finds out, and he would go to Lucas. Mike and Lucas would've gotten into the fight after Neilbolt because Lucas and Mike's friendship is very reminiscent of Bill and Richie's. Especially in season one.

They charge in, yada yada yada, all that shit goes down, they put It into an early hibernation. We know how it goes, here's how the Party deviates from the Losers Club. One them isn't staying behind.

None them are going to stay in their hometown. You could maybe say Dustin but I'm not sure. So how would they even know It came back in 27 years? Remember, It would make them forget when they grew up and left.

But let's say It called them home. They got some funny feeling and returned home, not sure as to why until they run into each other and start remembering. Because one them didn't stay behind, they have no research on how to kill It. They're already at a disadvantage.

Also we've have seen cracks in the Party as they've gotten older. I feel like the love triangle with Bev, Ben, and Bill has a lot similarities with El. Mike, and Will. If they didn't heal those cracks as teenagers I can only imagine what they're like when they return as adults. Yes they love each other, but there are cracks! And I really hate to say this, but after Mike finds out Holly is dead, I don't see him having motivation to fight It again. I don't think the Party would have made a 'blood oath'. This isn't any failing against them, I'm just trying to think of them as them and not the Loser's club.

I believe the if there was a driving force to go fight It a second time it would be Lucas. Maybe El and Will too, but mainly Lucas. Knowing there's a monster out there that no one is doing anything about is very much something Lucas would want to take care of.

I'm realizing this as I am typing this, I don't think the Party could defeat It. I hate to say that. Them not having someone staying behind really hurts them. (Mike H was the reason the Losers Club beat It, he's a badass.)

I'll sum this up: if the Party does decide to fight It as an adult, they die but there's chance they just wouldn't. I'm open to different opinions, because obviously I understand the Losers better then I understand the Party.

The reason the Party fights the monsters from the Upside Down time after time is because they're in direct danger and it's not just them. They have help. They have adults when they're kids. Mike has Nancy. There's Hopper and Joyce.

Against It, they would be by themselves, even as adults. The more I think about it, I just feel the Party wouldn't fight It a second time, they may not even return to their hometown after the 27 years.

The was never a time Jordy liked riding in the passenger seat more than when she rode with Seb. He was a god awful driver, but he was her best mate, so the stupid shit they did together while he drove ten miles over the speed limit always made her laugh.

He was in the middle of telling her about something Doom had broken that he got stuck cleaning up- at least that what she thinks he was talking about. She zoned out a lot, just counting the levels of brown and gold that lit up in his eyes when they had nowhere to be and could just ride together like this.

She must’ve been wrong. He must’ve been talking about the date he’d gone on the night before, because the next words he said made her chest ache even though she didn’t let her smile fade, “I’ll never fall in love, I swear.” His fingers tugged through his hair, pulling the elastic out and letting the strands fall freely to his shoulders.

Jordy couldn’t help it, she laughed, “You’re wrong.” At least, she hoped he was.

She clicked around on her phone, plugging in the aux cord and letting his favorite song filter through the speakers. Maybe then she wouldn’t have to keep talking about it.

She remembered the last girl he dated, how she had given him a shirt in the ugliest shade of red Jordy had ever seen and when Seb asked why she chose that color, she had said she knew it was his favorite. Seb had given her a tight lipped smile, and Jordy knew why. His favorite color was green. It had been since they were teenagers and they would get themselves lost on walks in the woods whenever his parents didn’t notice him.

Jordy starts stupid arguments with him over meaningless things, because she knows he loves it. It’s always things that don’t make a difference in their lives. Who makes the better Joker? (They both agree it’s Heath Ledger.) Which of our friends would be the first to die in a horror movie? (That one always ends up a toss up between Nicky and Elladine or Tai. The lovers or the one naive enough to think they could befriend the killer.) Who is the band that revolutionized pop punk music? (They both have good arguments for various bands with this one, they argue about it the most.)

She has planned surprise parties for him every year, knowing he hates surprises, and he somehow never sees them coming. Two years ago she planned it for the day after his birthday, and he tried telling her she got the day wrong when he came home to their flat on the eighteenth and saw the streamers everywhere while Nicky blew a noise maker in his face. She knows his birthday is the seventeenth.

The only thing about him she’ll attribute to his parents is his eyes. They match his father’s, and she figures that’s how his mum fell in love.

But whenever Nicky asks, in his all knowing tone of voice, if she loves him…

She lies.

“No, Nicks, geez, he’s my best mate.”

“Don’t you think that’d be weird? He saw me with braces and I saw him in that awkward stage of transitioning from richy prep boy to the cynic we know now.”

And it’s not like Seb notices. When the group gets together, his eyes scan the crowd and she knows he’s looking for someone that attracts his attention. It only seems to fall back on her when the search comes up fruitless.

She wonders how he doesn’t see it if Nicky does. Wonders how he could overlook that she knows everything about him. Wonders how he doesn’t realize.

She knows the way he stands on one side or the other, never truly indifferent about anything like he tries to pretend.

She knows what it means when she comes home from work and all the lights are off while he plays MCR with his door locked. Something made him cry and he won’t let anyone see it.

But she never lets him see the way she desperately wishes he would see her that way every year when she blows out candles, every time she sees a shooting star, every time she breaks a wishbone during their Friendsgiving dinners that aren’t actually celebrated in their country.

And just like before, when Nicky asked how she felt, she lied.

“No, that’s crazy. He’s only ever my best mate.”

The way Nicky’s eyes widened told her what she needed to know before she turned around. And there stood Seb, nodding his head with his lips pursed before he turned and walked away. Nicky pushed her, “What are you waiting for, you knobhead? Go after him!”

It was like she was propelled forward, praying that whatever happened could salvage the friendship they’d been cultivating for fifteen years. “Seb! SEB, WAIT!”

“It’s fine, Jordy, don’t worry about it.”

“It’s not fine!” She huffed, for someone that hated unnecessary movement, Seb could be quick when he wanted to be.

“Yes, it is,” he gave her a sad smile, “I never expected you to-“

“My God, Seb, what was I supposed to say?” He went quiet as she shouted, looking every bit of the anxious and scared teen she had left behind her years ago, “Am I supposed to tell Nicky I'm holding every breath for you? That even though you haven’t told anybody, I know you’re learning to play guitar because I see the callouses that no one else notices?”

“I didn’t think anybody saw that.” He tucked his hands into his pockets, and she laughed, because of course he wouldn’t see the big message here.

“I think you can see through everything but my heart, Seb. My first thought when I wake up every day is ‘My God, he's beautiful’. So l put on my make-up and pray for a miracle. Pray that you’ll notice. I could tell anybody that what your favorite color is or that you love to argue about things that have no meaning. But whenever Nicky asks… I lie.”

“You… lie?” A light shined in Seb’s eyes, almost like hope for what was to come next, but Jordy was sure it was wishful thinking.

“Yes. Every time he asks me, I lie. Because you’ll never fall in love. But I fell for you before I even knew I tripped.”

Seb chuckled, lowly as he pulled his hand from pocket and ignored the way his rings got stuck for a second before he carefully took hold of hers, “I’ll never fall in love because then I’d have to get up and crawl out of the hole you tripped me into. Why would I want to waste my time getting to know someone else when you’ve always been right here?”

Jordy’s eyes widened, “I- Are you-“

“I love you, you absolute moron.”

“Your moron.” She argued petulantly.

“My moron.” He agreed with a nod, smirking as he pulled her closer. When his lips were just a whisper away, he continued, “Maybe you should lie to Nicky more often if this is where it leads us.”

Her laugh didn’t make it past her lips.

Ooooooohhhhh good question good question

I think the relationships between the Rangers specifically were pretty well explored in the show, and I'll have to do a proper rewatch at some point to really get a feel for what could be missing from some interactions BUT I have a couple

Rise Tommy and Zack are so important to me. Like. They both love their mothers, Zack's a lot more open about it than Tommy since he's known his WAY longer. They encourage each other with their respective girlfriends - the S1 ep where they team up and Zack gets the dragon shield is so so good, that influenced a lot of my thoughts about them - and, especially when it comes to trans stuff, they feel like the other just gets it. They're T4T friendship goals fr

Kim and Trini, while I think is very cute and fun in the show, is another relationship I LOVE in Rise. I mentioned in the series outline post that Trini's there to let Kim cut loose when her parents get divorced, since hers did the same thing years ago, plus similar with Zack/Tommy, they both love their dads so much (idk if I'll design parents but I imagine that Trini's dad has obvious smile lines and Kim's dad's forehead is permanently wrinkled from Business Man Things) - Trini's also there to help Kim with queer stuff when she realises she likes Tommy, since she's never liked a girl before!! But she's excited about it!! But nervous!! And through Kim's excitement for discovering herself, Trini's able to get more and more comfortable with coming out to everyone

Skull and Billy's childhood friend thing from GGPR was something I wanted to carry over to Rise, difference being that they were friends in kindergarten until Billy's parents took him out of public school to teach him at home. Now in High School Billy sometimes lends Skull a hand with schoolwork (Autistic to ADHD Communication) and while Skull does get frustrated and they clash sometimes, they're good friends at the end of the day.

Similarly, Jason and Kim were friends in early Elementary School but went to different Middle Schools, so they're just kinda friendily floating around each other at first. But by the finale, Jason's like the older brother Kim never had but always wanted and acts like the biggest goober in the world around her to keep her smiling, while she's. Very Loud at football games to support him and Zack, and eventually Tommy as well she joins the team.

OH OH OH OKAY ACTUALLY REAL ANSWER Richie, Tommy and Curtis as a friend group are SO IMPORTANT. RISE SEASON 1 NEW KID TRIO. Richie and Curtis are lot more extroverted than Tommy and help her get a lil more comfortable around school, Curtis introduces her to Zack, which obvs leads to her meeting the rest of the Rangers and becoming friends with them. One of my fave things has been taking these two characters who really were just introduced to be White Ranger red herrings and making them MATTER. Richie sees Tommy getting close with Kim and is like "oh like, y'know, Kim's friends with Trini right? And you're also friends with her? Think you could,,, hook a butch up?" and Tommy just. Is terrible at being a wingwoman and is like "woahhh y'know Richie's preeeetty cool, she once saved a cat from a tree without using a ladder. Just fully flew up there. Ain't that neat, Trini? Don't you think that's sick?" and Trini's like. Ah. I know what's going on here. Curtis is sweet, but he does get insecure about being stuck as the "funny haha friend" no one really takes seriously but Richie and Tommy are like No dude. We love you. Let's go see a movie. Plus he's just so helpful and will drop anything to lend a hand, so Richie genuinely appreciates his un-asked-for-but-desperately-needed help at the Juice Bar

Nicole Camille Escovedo was born to father Peter Escovedo, son of Latin percussionist Pete Escovedo and brother to Prince collaborator Sheila E, and mother Karen Moss in Berkeley, California.

A musician himself, Peter was a member of Lionel Richie's band and they briefly toured together. It was around that time Peter met Nicole's biological mother Karen, a backstage assistant for Sheila E. Nicole was born not long after.

Nicole was actually on-stage at a show with Prince, at just 2 years old, playing a tambourine when Lionel learned that Nicole's family situation was "falling apart." Her parents were having financial and relationship issues, and couldn't properly care for her. He and then-wife Brenda decided to help.

"I think we decided that...what we'll do to kind of give you some stability was we'll be like legal guardians, but nothing more," Richie said.

However he grew more and more fond of little Nicole, returning home after tours to see her. It troubled him that she had "abandonment issues, for obvious reasons" so he told her 'I'm never, ever going to leave you.'"

"Nicole was actually a godsend. She was a little girl who needed a shot," said Lionel. "She was used to people coming and going. She had been handed around to every relative in the family. She looked at me and I'd say, 'I'm not going anywhere.'"

He stated, "It took about maybe a year for me to just fall in love [with Nicole]. Of course, by that time, I was 'Dad'...that's when I said, 'Let's adopt her.'"

And so Lionel and Brenda officially adopted Nicole when she was 9, and she became known as Nicole Richie.

Lionel and Brenda later split though, divorcing in 1993 after it was reported that Brenda "caught" Lionel with fashion designer Diane Alexander.

"Brenda and I went through a very interesting time," Richie mused. "We didn't agree on a lot of things, but we did agree on [Nicole]."

In the beginning, it was a challenge for Lionel to earn Nicole's trust. Despite being at the peak of his solo career, the legendary singer was determined to create stability for Nicole, who inspired him to write his hit song "Ballerina Girl."

For years, Nicole had felt heartbroken that her biological parents had left her, and she wanted nothing to do with them.

Everybody knows that her father is Lionel Richie, but many people skip the small print and miss the fact that she was adopted. And it's a unique story at that - in part because when the adoption was finalized, she was 9 years old - old enough to make sense of the world.

Nicole has publicly struggled with an eating disorder and substance abuse in the past, most notably when she was arrested for heroin possession in 2003.

She told Diane Sawyer in a 2007 interview, "I kind of took matters into my own hands and was creating drama in a very dangerous way. I think I was just bored, I had seen everything - especially when you're young, you just want more."

When Lionel and Brenda went through their bitter public divorce, they compensated by over-indulging Nicole.

"Their way of making me happy was to say, 'yes,' to everything I wanted," she said. "But I don't think a little girl should have that much freedom."

Following the divorce, Lionel remarried and had two more children, Miles and Sofia.

Nicole decided to get her life back on track for her child when she became pregnant.

Though she hadn't been close to her birth parents, she realized during that period she didn't want to keep resenting them, and that, in fact, she wanted them in her life.

Along with her stints on reality tv, including The Simple Life and Candidly Nicole, she was in the 2005 comedy film Kids in America, and has guest-starred on different television shows, as well as being the face of different advertising campaigns.

In 2008, she debuted a jewelry line, House of Harlow, named after her daughter with husband Joel Madden of the rock group Good Charlotte, who Nicole says is "very conservative." Madden has the face of Jesus Christ tattooed on his arm.

Jon brought Phoenix to meet his band before they went home. They didn’t know if he was a boyfriend or just a casual thing, but they were respectful to him just the same. He looked young. They guessed he was in his early twenties. They were straight, so they couldn’t tell if he was attractive or not. Jon found him attractive, so they would take his word for it. They found out he was touring with his band, Tasty Snax. What kind of music did they play? They were a Christian ska and punk band.

It was him and a group of guys from high school. He was also in another band, Linkin Park. They were a rock and rap group. What instruments did he play? He was a bass guitarist, but he also played the electric guitar, violin, and cello. His mother encouraged him to pursue music. They also found out that no, he was not dating Jon. He had a girlfriend named, Bria.

They’ve heard about her from Jon. What was she like? She was one of the sweetest, funniest, kind-hearted women they could ever meet. But, she also kept him accountable and she swore more than anyone he knew. They laughed. She was just super adorable, especially with her cat.

“Is she a cat person”, Richie asked.

“She’s an animal lover. It doesn’t matter what animal it is. She wants to have a house full of animals someday. Cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, hamsters, fish… we’re going to look for a house somewhere with enough room because I want to get a dog.”

“What’s that word she always uses”, Jon asked.

“Awesome. That, and the f-word.”

They laughed. He seemed like a good kid. Probably never really been in any trouble. They learned they were wrong in that assumption. He was arrested for underage drinking while in college. Did he go to jail? Yeah, he did. He was sentenced to probation and had to pay a fine. It helped him get sober. His former roommate, Brad kept him accountable for his sobriety, as did Bria.

They met her when she came in. She had cut her hair into a mullet style. It looked perfect on her! She introduced herself. David Bryan joked about Jon and Phoenix telling them all about her. Oh my god. They laughed.

“Somebody’s got to keep those boys in line.”

They laughed.

“I thought you were bringing Woody”, Jon joked.

“No, he hates his carrier because he thinks he’s going to the vet. So, it’s just easier to keep him at home instead of fighting him.”

Was Woody her cat? Yeah, he was named after Woody from Toy Story. He was an adorable asshole. Why? He was in his teenage phase, so he did things to be annoying like knocking things off flat surfaces or pretending he was starving to death. How did she know Jon? Her parents had a house next door to his growing up. She was around five years old when she met him.

Were her parents from New Jersey? Her mother was. She was from Red Bank, so she and her father bought a house in Middletown in 1986 or 1987. They visited about once or twice a year. Depending on their work schedules. Did they still visit New Jersey? No, they died in 1998 from a DWI accident. She didn’t know what they did with the house. They probably sold it a long time ago. Jon couldn’t remember, either. He would have to ask Dorothea. She would probably know.

Phoenix looked on at his girlfriend. How did he get so lucky to have her? She was having a lot of fun talking with the band. Tico noticed the shirt she was wearing underneath her jacket. It was a Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet t-shirt. He pointed it out and she looked down. She didn’t notice that when she put it on. They laughed.

“That’s a cool shirt”, Phoenix said.

“You want it? You can have it.”

“Yeah, thanks.”

“Awesome. I’ll give it to you later.”

“Awesome”, Richie said.

“You could write a list of everything I say and turn it into a drinking game.”

They laughed. Before they left, he had her play something on the guitar. What song? Enter Sandman. Hugh MacDonald handed her his guitar. They were curious to see if she could actually do it. She could! They were impressed. She could even do the guitar solo.

When they left, David joked about how entertaining she was. Yeah, she had been that way since she was younger. She had a rough beginning to her life. What happened, if it was okay to ask? She was born under the influence of crack cocaine. Her parents adopted her not knowing what her life was going to be like. She stayed in the neonatal intensive care unit for about a month while her tiny body went through withdrawal. They thought she would have significant disabilities.

Thankfully, she just had ADHD. Her parents sent her to boarding school because it gave her the structure she needed. They were both extremely wealthy. Her father was an investor and her mother was a professional makeup artist. They gave her whatever she wanted while teaching her how fortunate she was. They both did a great job with her.

When they died, they left everything to her. She had a house cleaner and an assistant, who were part of her family. Why did she need an assistant? Because of her ADHD. She was scatterbrained so she needed someone to help her remember to do things and keep her organized. If she had to do things herself, she would have a lot of trouble. She would possibly lose everything because she wouldn’t remember to pay the bills.

But the girl they just met was the girl he had known for almost fifteen years. What about her boyfriend? He was great for her because he was the calm in her hyperactive world. They were best friends. He had problems with alcohol and unhealthy relationships. She was one of his biggest cheerleaders. He was going to see if Dorothea would let him invite them to New Jersey.

Since he didn’t have his permission, he wasn’t going to tell them about the abuse Phoenix went through. They could see what he loved about them. They could visit them whenever they wanted. He would let them know that. Awesome. They laughed.

When they got home, they were met by Mike. What’s up? They went inside where Woody made his presence known. Meow. I’m starving! Phoenix told her he got it. She and Mike went to the living room and sat down.

He hated to ask but he needed a place to stay for a few days. What? Why? Wasn’t he living with Joe? Yeah, he was. They disagreed, so he left the apartment to give him space to cool down. What was the argument about? It was over chores. When Joe got angry, it was best to let him calm down than to poke the bear. Yeah, he could stay for as long as he needed. Thank you.

Mike gos and gets ready for the group hangout tonight it's Friday today so that's when they usually have one sense mike leaves every Saturday this Saturday he's not he going to tell them all tonight

AT WILLS HOUSE

Mike is walking up to the door he's pretty nervous to tell them he doesn't know what they will say, he somewhat thinks they're going to be mad at him for wanting to leave but it's been hard on him being away for so long especially from his mom they have a good relationship with each other he needs his mom will love he no matter what she was the first person he came out too

Will:HEY MIKE!!!

Mike:oh hey will (he smiles at him then gos inside)

Everyone is sitting in the living room,L and Max are talking about something, Dustin, Erica and Lucas are setting up the DD game for them all, Steve, Nancy, Robin, Eddie, and Jonathan are sitting on the couch trying to find a show to play and hopper and Joyce are cooking something in the kitchen. Mike gos over to Lucas and helps the he decides that he will tell them later on because everybody is having a good time.all the teens play DD for about a hour (even though Steve, Nancy and L have no idea how to play they still try) then they decide to watch the horror movie(Lucas and Dustin were terrified) lol after that they decided to just hang out and talk for a bit this is when mikes going to tell them he tells himself he feels extremely nervous too though and his heart feels like it's running a race but he stands up

Mike: um guys I got to tell you and something

They all look at him confused but he keeps going

Mike: so um it's a pretty long story but pretty much the wheelers are the my parents there my aunt and uncle and my real parents live in Darry thats actually where I'm always at during the weekends I go and stay there but um-I...I'm going to go live there for like real so I will not be here I will still come and visit of course but I'm not going to be here like how I am now and I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys like I said it's really complicated.he says as fast as he can

They all just look at him for a minute tell Steve stays talking

Steve:so why did you leave your parents in the first place

Mike:oh-um w..well there was something that happened so I just didn't want to be in that town it's nothing my parents did they are amazing just.

Will: why didn't you tell us that the wheelers weren't your parents

Mike: um well Ted didn't want to look bad I guess or

something that why they made a fake name and stuff

Everyone but Nancy: A FAKE NAME

Mike: oh um yah I forgot about telling you that I'm my real name is Richie.

Max: wow

L: so we will never see you again

Richie: no no L you will still see me just not as much and we won't be at the same school but we will still see each other and we can call to!

Dustin: so when are you going ( he says looking sad)

Richie: next weekend-

Will and L run and give him a hug

"Thanks guys" Richie says

laughing

THE NEXT DAY

Richie wakes up and looks around too see all of his friends passed out on the floor he smiles and shakes his head.

GUYSSS he yells

Everyone wakes up suddenly and when they realize what's going on Lucas grabs his pillow and throws it at him Mike laughs.

Then decided to hang out in the woods for the rest of the weekend.

TIME SKIP

One day till he leaves he's all packed up and he's having everyone stay the night tonight so they can have a goings away party thing he just finished packing up all he has now are th pjs his in he decided that he will just wear them tomorrow for the way home mostly because how early his mom will be there and there is no way he's getting up even early to get dressed

They are all outside with Richie waiting for his mom they all look sad but are trying to look happy L and will keeps hugging him and saying they will miss him so much it made him cry a little Richies mom just got here he says his goodbye's then he looks at them all before getting in the car. Steve and Jonathan put his stuff in the car for him then they say good bye..

Hannah was found and the kidnapper was turned to justice, Jake was relived to find her alive so were you and the rest of the group, also richy was found close to hannah and in now at the hospital.

You were so happy to know that they were okay and that richy is alive.

While calling the group and telling them how happy you were and asking hannah if she was okay, you suddenly felt something, a feeling you couldn't describe, then you remembered Jake, how he just said few words and was silent, online but didn't say anything afterwards.

The group took their own time to get together once again offline, you said it was fine and that you were happy to help, but of course jessy kept sending you pictures every now and then.

You texted jake:

Y/n = I'm so glad she is okay

Y/n = we did a great job!

You didn't send anything later because of that feeling you had earlier, it was growing by the second.

As flashbacks of everything that happened surfed into your mind

A notification cut your line of thought, it was jake.

I knew this was gonna happen, she was only helping me out of fear..

Jake spent that day wondering if he should resume you that he won't harm you, but that is something he might not be able to control.. it could be dangerous for you to be with him.

His thoughts did make him feel any better, as they all turn in your direction.

Next day,

Nym0s sent an alert to jake.

phil is calling, you look at your phone expecting someone else, but you were disappointed.

Phil -> Y/n, hello there cutie, I wanted to thank you for getting me out of jail, you know, why don't you come to duskwood?

Suddenly the call has ended

Jake = I terminated the call.

Y/n = but why did you do that?!

Jake = didn't you promise me something?.

Y/n = what does it matter now?!

Jake = I'm aware of the fact that the culprit is already taken care of , but you know I can't stand him.

Y/n = who? Phil ? , he was let out of jail after a false charge.

Jake = I'm also aware of that fact.

You stopped replying, why is he still doing this anyway, am I still useful?

You decided to text him this is non of his business but you paused to wipe your tears as them falling on the screen made it harder to text.

Fear has found it's way to Jake's heart once again because of you, he couldn't stand the thought of losing you, but he tried to be as understanding as possible.. as much as he could.

Y/n = I'm just giving you space, wouldn't it be better if I didn't waste your time? And no, don't worry I'm not going, I don't want remember this again.

Y/n = it's fine , jake. .. you can just leave.

He couldn't understand what you meant by that, he just felt how hurt you were, which made him feel hurt as well.

Jake = y/n, what makes you think I want to leave?

Y/n <offline>

You just didn't want to have that conversation, you already feel pitiful and hate yourself for it.

Your heart was aching, with every second that passed.

Till your phone started ringing.

You thought it was probably Phil again, and this time you were wrong.

It was Jake, but why would he call now anyway?

You tried to ignore him, but the pain you felt in your chest was too hard to bear.

You answered.

Jake -> y/n, please, listen to me, I want you to tell me what happened.

You were trying to calm down so you could say a thing, it was his same voice changer and that tone of his.

You couldn't help but remember the times you felt so happy to hear from him.

Jake did something different this time, he turned of the voice changing program.

Jake -> y/n, I understand if you want to cut ties with me after all of this, .. I wouldn't blame you.

Jake -> I want you to know that I had the best time of my life with you and I will cherish these moments.

Jake -> I understand your fear, I know you wouldn't want to be associated with a person like I am.

Jake -> so, don't worry, I will go away, after you tell me that you are okay.

Jake -> I want to hear it from you, one last time.

You took a while to reply, but he waited, he didn't want to do anything else but wait.. hold you.. and tell you everything will be okay, but he thinks now that you don't want this.. you don't want him.. a person who no one can trust, it is surprising, he made get in a lot of dangerous situations before, only him to blame.

Y/n -> I love you, okay!, I just .. I just can't stand the fact that.. you were only here for someone else... I know it's selfish of me, I know nothing should be about me at all!

Jake -> I feel the same way, ever since we met, you piqued my interest, I started to think of you constantly, even after trying to control myself, because I know how dangerous it would be for both of us... y/n, I love you.

Jake -> I understand how you feel, you trusted me blindly through this whole situation, without me giving you any proof.

Jake -> y/n, I don't want to leave, I want to be with you, that's why I had been absent for a while, i want to make our dreams a reality.
