i need to share my very horrible idea to combine the reinhard/julius/otto/subaru boy drama into one julius-centric fic

ok so a little while ago ive made all kinds of ottojuli and reinjuli posts and while i havent finished all my major julisuba posts Yet i am quite fond of julisuba also and i think itd be incredibly funny if you just dumped all of these ships into one story. just go ALL IN on that boy drama!!!! go big or go home amirite!!!! the worlds WORST love trapezoid youve ever seen!!!!

this post is just me rambling fic ideas bc i sadly dont have time for Every Fic Idea and also i just. i just think itd be funny putting multiple ships with the same person in them into one fic. on a serious level its like mimicking real life relationships where sometimes people come and go and you have different dynamics with each person!! on another level i just think this is also very funny so!! here we go. under the cut:

anyway so my idea for this is that you know, julius of course meets reinhard when hes ten and reinhard is eight and then it alters julius's brain chemistry. at first he's in complete awe of reinhard. and then over time the shame starts setting in. that julius isnt as strong as reinhard. and the jealousy sets in a bit too, so julius's got this chip in his shoulder trying to carry his family's legacy and trying to carry the weight of knighthood to be as perfect as possible. to be as close to reinhard as he can. they meet again in their teens and julius shows reinhard the ropes of like basic knight stuff bc reinhard just joined the knights. and of course reinjuli become friends but julius has spent his whole life quietly watching reinhard from afar and now julius still has that distance with reinhard even as theyre supposedly friends now. reinhard is a God, you know? his powers and his leash from the kingdom and his family keep him distant and the two of them are ignoring that. classic homoerotic "do i want him or want to be him" friendship where both of you are too scared to get any closer for various reasons with a Twist (reinhard's very real monster complex that keeps getting validated bc Everyone Around Him thinks hes a monster).

anyway but then julius remembers that you know, shit between reinhard and him wont work out for many reasons, like reinhards family deciding to torment julius at various points in his life (heinkel, whos julius's boss, and reid, who went from julius's childhood idol to. you know.), and also reinhard needs to have kids because hes the sword saint, and also homophobia exists in rezero. and also even if those werent all obstacles julius still has his Complexes connected to reinhard and they got that distance between them so. no go. (repression gets in the way of relationships :((( )

also quick side note is that ex 4 happens and julius reinhard ferris go to vollachia and julius interrupts a meeting with vincent vollachia himself to go "I UNDERSTOOD THAT LITERARY REFERENCE YOU JUST MADE. THATS A REALLY GOOD REFERENCE I LIKED IT A LOT" bc hes a massive nerd and ig this is slightly-more-of-a-disaster-gay julius au so julius is like ............................. vincent was kinda cool for that.

AND THEN SUBARU CRASHES INTO JULIUS'S LIFE and julius is like seeing this guy who's also got a chip in his shoulder and then he insults the knights and says the knights are all depending on their dads (nepotism) and julius is like .......the chip in my shoulder was bad enough and also youre kinda like me fr. and you are clearly a fucking misguided kid so now i have to save your ass. i cant NOT save your ass. and reinhards like "julius and subaru nooo you dont have to do this :((((" and julius cant admit atm that hes also doing this to save subarus life so julius is just like "he disrespected the knights >:(((("

but yes we all know what happened there. julius saves subarus life. julius has to slice subarus throat in that one failed loop. they become friends across several timelines. they also homoerotically share souls, you know, typical bromance things, rivals to lovers except subarus the one going YOURE MY RIVAL and julius is like he is SUCH an upstart. hes really grown on me like a fungus but thats the appeal. and julius i think sees subaru as like a kindred spirit (or at least thats how i interpret julisuba) except subaru is like way more freer than julius is. same desire to prove yourself but subarus not restraining himself constantly like julius. its sometimes to the point of recklessness and general stupidity and what have you, but his boldness and bravery and determination and heart really is admirable.........................

yeah so anyway julius falls for ANOTHER guy again, you know how it is sometimes. the heart wants what it wants and julius is cursed to always have the worst meetings with his closest friends. and of course julius gets heartbroken bc wtf i have to kill my new friend :((( noo!!!! but in the finished loop its like. oh subaru...... hes really improved himself. hes grown so much already. hes kind of. inspirational really. idk how he does it. except subarus you know got that Mystery to him the same way reinhard does (theyre traumatized and Cant Take About It Normally so they just randomly lore drop what they can) and also subarus SUPER into emilia. and julius is like .................... well. subarus taken. haha. and reinhards. taken. fuck me. fuck. and like somethings going on with subaru and rem and emilia right. fuck. and subarus got his whole toxic masculinity / gender crisis..... and he doesnt know hes Bisexual yet...... man. what a loss for julius amirite haha.

and also subarus busy after arc 3........... and julius has no idea whats happening there but that seems Real serious :(( and julius's got other things to attend to so he hopes subaru reaches out to him eventually..... or that they cross paths again since subarus in the emilia camp and julius is in ana camp (and of course reinhard is in felt camp and like that was a whole debacle bc wtf. reinhard, u do know thatd be a big deal to our mutual friend felix?). so. julius pines from afar ONCE AGAIN HAHA.

(also of course subarus still attracted to reinhard here. its um. well julisuba can bond now over pining over reinhard but thats for later also!!)

anyway of course during arc 3 julius briefly runs into some gray haired merchant twink thats being dragged around by subaru bc ana camp rescued this guy from a cave somewhere??? and this new guy and subaru made a deal or whatever so he was just helping out in the background of the fight against sloth??

and whaddya know................ julius goes to drink at a bar bc you know he probably tastes wine for fun in his free time (hes definitely Fond of wine anyway iirc) and now hes Sad over the Ones That Got Away so. bar it is. and gray haired merchant twink is there!! no way. they start talking a bit casually while drinking you know and julius's taste is Unfortunately either the graceful ones (anastasia, because julius has great taste in women) or the cringe fail ones (all the twinks - except for felix - that julius keeps having the wildest first meetings with, because julius has slightly shit taste in men) so julius is like huh this otto guys kinda funny lol. endearing in a weird way!! and -

oops they both end up being a little. they make a little bit of a move on each other. bc they were drinking and got a Bit tipsy. ottos Also not over the one that got away (subaru) (again) and hey. the finest knight truly is. Fine. objectively fine. totally. so you know. things get a little out of hand, maybe they do a bit of cringe fail flirting hidden underneath five million layers of repression and the Horrors of Being Known but ultimately they both embarrass themselves somehow (read: how far they went with each other while under the influence is up to you) and agree to Never Speak of This Again bc oopsies they were both technically each other's first time being Straightforwardly Not Straight with another man. oops. anyway julius has to go back to his camp and otto fucking bolts but he bolts right into subaru and gets his ass dragged into sanctuary drama.

julius is totally not a little bit envious about that.................... about otto getting to accompany subaru to sanctuary... but dont worry julius!! youll get to make up for it later!! bc eventually arc 5 stuff happens. and julius is Glad to see reinhard and subaru again. even with all the Baggage. and subaru is of course Weird about julius but eventually subaru reassures julius after they both confide in each other about the astrea drama (theyre honorary astreas via being dragged into the astrea family mess). and subarus reassuring to julius in a whole new way okay. subaru, whos unrestrained and incapable of being on the down low about anything, and julius, whos always holding himself back with a gazillion layers of repression, starts learning to let go a bit...

but also juliotto meet again. its terribly awkward and they both agreed to never speak of their awkward encounters again. subaru is going ??? and reinhard is clueless. otto then also goes to save reinhard and felt from heinkel trying to take felt hostage, which was also terribly awkward but reinhard and felt are grateful about it (but lbr if reinhard and otto knew each other deeper reinhard would maybe be a little. Apprehensive. around otto while otto would be sympathetic with reinhard bc hes like male emilia). but then while otto manages not to get erased by gluttony....... julius gets erased. of course. which you know results in being forgotten by reinhard in julius's THIRD first meeting ever with reinhard. and subarus the only one who remembers him of course.

then arc 6 happens :,))))) and julius of course has to confront his ideas of knighthood, his identity, his self esteem, and who he is outside of His Name. and also julius gets his ass beat by reid. his childhood idol. who reinhard KNEW was a shitty person but never ever told julius (whether this is because reinhard wanted to spare julius's hero worship or because reinhard never got the chance to tell julius is hard to say lajdsf). but julius does get to triumphantly win in the end!! grow as a person!!! learn to undo a bit of that repression and not hold himself to impossible standards all the time!! hes growing still!!! hes finally solidified his friendships with people like subaru and emilia!! hes remaking his relationship with anastasia!! hes asserted himself, hes planning on going to meet reinhard again one day and duel him!! things are looking up even if its still bittersweet that he doesnt have his name back yet!! does this mean?? perhaps?? a HAPPY ENDING?? julius can have the two men (reinhard and subaru) he admires the most in his life?????? as friends???? or as boyfriends?????? slowburn mutual pining????????????????????????????????????????

and then comes. arc 8 otto. that piece of shit.

julius is very much someone who has to grapple with the weight of the expectations that people throw at him. and also reinhard is someone who May envy julius a bit, but there's also you know, joshua and subaru with the Explicit Envy and (past) resentment because theyre placing heavy expectations on julius!! theyre pointing blame at julius!! julius is trying to find himself outside of stuff like that, especially after arc 6, but he's still got stuff to work on you know? he still has duties to fulfill!! loyalty that he has to act on bc hes gotta help subaru and co in arc 8!! and then in comes otto.

otto is also someone with expectation placed on him, but its Different. ottos mostly a nobody and when hes Not a nobody, his reputation tends to be Derogatory. hes a menace. hes a bad luck charm. hes grappling with the fact that he has to keep being left behind - post-arc 5 bc he was injured, but also repeatedly during arcs 7 and 8 because hes too physically weak to be on the same playing field as emilia or garfiel or subaru on the battlefield. he feels Useless after placing his identity on the expectation that hes Dependable and Useful.

julius is a bit more on even ground with otto now that julius is. also mostly a nobody bc his name is still gone. and also julius had to deal with having that part of his identity crushed. julius tried to be useful over and over in arc 6 only to get his ass repeatedly curb stomped by reid in the beginning. he was a nobody. he wasnt dependable anymore. and also otto is that one guy he had a Passing Fling with over having The Ones Who Got Away and julius was still vaguely hopeful about maybe being pals at least but ottos brushed him off a bit since arc 5. theyre like each others secrets you know? and now otto doesnt know that shit - julius is the only one who Knows - and otto also hates julius's fucking guts now. over SUBARU. and julius has been through this whole rodeo clown circus with arc 3 subaru so this is an absolutely terrible ride through memory lane.

and this is julius's THIRD twink that hates him for terribly unfair reasons. julius is very tired and a bit heartbroken in this au trying to pretend it doesnt bother him. on one level it doesnt. bc ottos pathetic and clearly Overcompensating for Something. on another level it kinda does bc julius had a Thing going with otto. and otto is the complete opposite of julius. like hes different from the other guys julius has liked.

julisuba is about complimentary opposites - they appear Extremely Different at first glance but theyre very similar. theyre people who try to look and act bigger than they are, people who keep reaching to be The Best, to be Perfect, because theyre overcompensating. theyre worried their entire identity is only built off of trying to be bigger than the shadow that other people in their lives (like their families) cast. but they cant reach perfection. and julius is like subaru but if subaru tried to really make himself "refined" - if he tried to stop putting his heart on his sleeve all the time. reinsuba are very similar too. theyre very refined knights who try to keep themselves in check at all times while the weight of the world is on their shoulders. they cant have a hair out of place. except julius is like the "smaller" version of reinhard. julius is less powerful. its like comparing a human and a "god" - reinhard, whos untouchable. but its a double edged sword, because julius gets to be a normal person, because half the expectation placed on him is also purely from himself, while reinhard isnt. reinhard isnt Free. hes on a leash by the kingdom and his family. julius even gets his kind of "celebrity" status stolen from him via the loss of his name. hes truly kind of Normal now - julius is like if reinhard didnt have his crazy abilities and had a little more of a chance to be free.

otto? yeah otto is. very very far from all of that. hes so obviously imperfect that most of his reputation, when its brought up, is just him being known as a mess who's caused various forms of chaos everywhere he goes. either that or hes just. There. Invisible. very very average. and otto is someone who wants a nice comfortable life, someone who wants to fit in - julius and subaru arent Exactly like that, and while reinhard also wants to be normal, ottos the one who has more of an opportunity. but he doesnt. because otto Dooms Himself by being recklessly cutthroat. otto is like if subaru was just. More of an asshole, so ottojuli would just be a rather Extreme Challenge for julius to have to deal with HAH. and normally otto is someone who repays how people treat him - a very "you treat me like this, i'll treat you the same way in turn" kind of deal, except ottos developed a vendetta against julius and its basically like if subaru never let go of his arc 3 julius vendetta.

yes so anyway. etc etc stuff probably happens but i ran out of ideas lajdlfjasdf i just think combining ALL the boy drama and recontextualizing + adding to canon would be. batshit crazy. and terribly entertaining. im so sorry julius but i want to see you crack a bit under the pressure. reinjuli as a ship is like tragic gay yearning that never goes anywhere past being friends with quiet homoerotic tension, then julisuba is. you know. extreme rivals to lovers, starts out Rough but then ends up being super super sweet and theyre Trying their best underneath the self esteem issues. and then ottojuli is. toxic yaoi at its finest (pun intended). you get Every flavor of mlm possible!!

ok so you may be asking "ok what would you even name this fic then" and to that i say that this would be called To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

anyway i really wanna write this idea someday ill inform you guys (if youre reading this and are Interested) if it ever happens :< so. in conclusion this is just julius the entire time throughout all of these events:

More dating Heartsteel Kayn HCs (Birthday + Halloween Edition! ft. Rhaast)

Brief mention of drinking, but doesn’t go into full detail.

You’ve known Kayn’s birthday was on the 30th and not the 31st thanks to a certain K/DA member texting him at a very unfortunate time, but you did enjoy the idea of celebrating both days in general. Kayn, on the other hand, prefers the 31st because that is what he says his birthday is. It doesn’t hurt to just simply indulge him. If he wants his birthday on the 31st, who the hell are you to say? Don’t let that stop you from doing something fun on the 30th though. Try to take advantage of the fact he has a habit of staying up very late. As long as you two aren’t caught, perhaps you could get away with a thing or two. Maybe a little spray paint to liven up this boring alley right?

Kayn might catch on to what your intentions are and he will tease you about it and telling you his birthday is tomorrow, but he truly does appreciate what you’re doing. Any moment he can spare just to be with you is everything to him.

“Is this for my birthday? You know that’s tomorrow.” “Whattt? Of course I know that.” “This is for my birthday, isn’t it?” “Totally not.” “It’s totally for my birthday!” “It’s past midnight anyway! It’s your birthday right now!”

On the 31st, do expect Rhaast to make an appearance. In fact, it may or may not have been his idea for you to dress up like him. He thinks it’d look cool, and luckily for both of you, some people seemed to have the same idea to dress up as him. Of course, it’d be obvious to tell which one was the real Rhaast, but you? The media can just say you were just a “mysterious talented artist” who practically nailed the costume. At least they never got a picture of your face or even your name, and they’ll never know that you actually got help from the man himself.

Rhaast does eventually escape from the crowd just to go to you and drag you onto a rooftop to watch everyone else. Does he make fun of other people’s attempts to dress up as him? Absolutely.

“[name]! Look at that one over there!” “A for effort, at least.” “No, that’s too high! Bump it down to C tier.” “Hah! That’s a little harsh, don’t you think? Not even low B tier?” “Not at all!” “Oh come on, look at that one. That one’s not that bad, right?” “Ugh, more like cheaply made.”

Rhaast himself is pretty anti-paparazzi. Not in the “literally blinding in the camera” kind of anti-paparazzi, but rather the one that tends to scare them away quite literally. Popping out of nowhere with a loud “BOO!” and a boisterous laugh. Although in general, Rhaast is just really hard to get a good picture of if it’s not during a show. I mean have you seen him? Look at him go.

Since we’re talking about Rhaast, let’s talk about your relationship with him. He loves you. In fact, he’s the one that pushed Kayn to approach you when he realized how Kayn felt about you. In a way, you could say this relationship is polyamorous. Rhaast still gets very jealous if he’s not let out to have time with you, though it’s not so different with Kayn. Both of them can get pretty jealous in general.

“You’re such a wimp! Just do it!!” “No..!” “Oh come on!! They’re perfect! You even thought it!” “Well-! Yes, I did! But-!” “They even love the way I work things! If you want them, you have to get them before someone else does! Have you seen how that other guy was looking at them earlier?!” “I am not doing it.” “What’s that saying? “The worst they can do is say no”? Just do it Kayn!!" “Ugh! Fine! Tomorrow." "Pussy."

Rhaast was Kayn's personal alarm that next morning. He wasn't going to let Kayn forget the plan. Let’s just say he was a bit of a mess when he finally came to you thanks to Rhaast, but when you said yes, he was ecstatic. Kayn struggled trying to keep a straight face when all he can hear is Rhaast yelling triumphantly. That was also the day you realized Rhaast wasn't just his "alter-ego," but rather a whole other person that only Kayn hears and lets out time to time. Well, you did like Kayn, and you did like "not simply an alter-ego" Rhaast, so it worked out.

He definitely tried scaring you a few times. Maybe he succeeded, maybe he didn’t, but he’s done a handful of things to you and others to try and get a reaction. Maybe you grew a resistance to it overtime and your reactions gradually changed.

Rhaast does let you snap some pretty cool photos of him which probably includes him doing dangerous stunts. Still, seeing him go do what he loves to do without anything to stop him was nice. That didn’t stop you from being worried if he’ll actually get hurt, though. He sometimes teases you on that. To be fair, he does this all the time and comes out unscathed.

Heading towards your next destination (which would be wherever they had agreed to celebrate his birthday) had to be done with the two of you doing in different routes so that attention wasn’t drawn to either of you, or to you specifically. Wouldn’t want too many speculations now, though it is fun to see the fans create their own thoughts on the matter. They were either entirely wrong, or they were so close to the truth. You were going to meet up again a few blocks from the location, and of course, he was there first waiting for you in a wall just to kind of surprise you. You were greeted by Kayn instead of Rhaast, and he lifts the mask on your face to give you a kiss.

“Hey there gorgeous~” “Hey yourself. Were you just standing in that wall the entire time?” “Guilty as charged. You’re so slow.” “Says the one who can walk in walls.” “Yeah, but you love it when I do it.”

Serves as good time to just walk and chat now that you’re away from the crowd. Most people, and kids, would be at home and maybe sleeping by now, so the streets are rather empty.

“Not that I’m complaining, but are you here because Rhaast is tired?” “If I let Rhaast drink to his heart’s content, none of us will be going home.” “Since when did that ever stop you?” “Yeah… But Yone won’t be letting me off the hook, so I’m unfortunately at a limit.” “And on your birthday. What a shame.”

Whether this is your first time meeting the rest of Heartsteel or not, it’s safe to say you get along with them fairly well. Ezreal wanted all the details, but gets cut off by Kayn who would pull you away from him. K’Sante and Alune are always fun to talk to, so if things get too rowdy, you can run to them and chat for a while.

You’ve spotted Aphelios taking pictures of some stuff happening, like how Kayn and Ezreal are still bickering which he’ll post somewhere later. He’ll probably go to you to show you some photos he took of the others a few days or weeks prior. There was even a photo of Aphelios and Kayn beating Sett with plushies and pillows (Ezreal took the photo). He’ll send it to you if you ask.

You know those little charms he has on his belt of Rhaast and his shadow assassin form? Your gift to him were matching charms of you and him. He wears the charm of you with so much pride, he loves it so much. You're even placed between the two he already had. No one would suspect a thing either if they see your little charm of Kayn. It's normal for people to have silly pins and charms of their favorite artist, and if anyone asks where you got it from, just say you made it yourself. It wasn't a lie after all.

It’s safe to say both Kayn and Rhaast had fun on their 48 hour birthday.

General Romance HCs for: Mike & Aesop

The Acrobat is... An interesting man, that one.

Considering his behavior and past, there's a lot of things that can go with him. However, if you think he of all survivors would be the type to back down? Hah!

Absolutely not.

Don't underestimate him- unlike most of the survivors, Mike does have somewhat of an experience with romance. Although the Hullabaloo Incident had him lose everything and suffer psychological damage, he's had a few... Flings. Not as much, though, but a few that can help him understand.

People always say that he's quite the mischievous fellow, and although they'd be right, they don't often mention how he can be quite flippant.

For one moment, he may act quite kind- perhaps even a little cheeky if he so felt like it. But then next thing, he acts a lot more off, almost like he didn't have the desire to do much.

For the most part, though, when he's in love? He is one stubborn man to the person that became the thing he focused on.

Since he is an entertainer by means of his role (one being acrobatics), he enjoys putting on a show for the one he likes. One may say that, perhaps, Mike enjoys putting on a show if it meant seeing his darling smile! ✩

On that regard, he also doesn't like to see the person he cherishes sad. Please, if there is anything putting a damper on them, he'd be really worried if he wasn't told of what it is! Was it because of a match? Or maybe it's something else?

The acrobat can be quite, quite silly in his endeavors to make someone smile- even more so with his beloved darling! ✩ The amount of times he can be so determined to help them feel joy in an otherwise hopeless match can be a lot.

Oh, but please, do make sure he's never near anything in the kitchen :( as much as he'd like to say that he can and will be willing to cook for his beloved if asked, sometimes it can lead to... A burned meal instead. At worst? It may be set on fire.

... Yes, Emily gets angry whenever this happens. Probably a good reminder to not risk another burned room again.

Despite his nature, though, there may be times that he would crave something more calmer. On that regard, he enjoys quite a lot of cuddles if it meant having some time to 'recharge'.

Yes, he may be extroverted, but goodness sake, he isn't always full of energy...

Dates with him can be pretty spontaneous, actually. It isn't that rare to see him plan out a date on one thing in a map, only to do the complete opposite- which, well, makes it all the more fun for him.

To the Acrobat, he enjoys the surprise it can lead with plans going to an entirely different direction! The thrill it can lead gives him adrenaline- ah, so as long it doesn't involve arson.

Speaking of which, he enjoys making a show with the bombs he has! Although he would much rather keep it from going absolutely everywhere and risk an explosion as a result, he enjoys it when his lover gets to see the spectacle he can do with them!

Overall, Mike is possibly one of the few survivors that can be quite the wild one when in love. He does try his best to be, well, out of sight when it comes to trouble, but let's just say his ways of expressing his adoration surpasses it all ✩

You must be joking, right?

Aesop Carl's thoughts are, well, exactly that with the matters of romance. Now, don't get me wrong- he isn't some heartless bastard that'd think of outright denying it.

He's just more used to being hated by others for how he was raised. After all, he had quite a grim past, majority of it was thanks to Jerry's treatment.

... that, and he honestly thinks that people are better off with not trying to get together with him. It made more sense that way.

So many may think that he is introverted to the matter of romance, and although you aren't wrong at the idea of him being introverted, he's more of the avoidant type.

He isn't even interested in romance, so why would you think he'd be interested in forming a literal emotional bond?

So the biggest surprise for him isn't the general aspect of romance, no— it was how he felt with a literal person, and how it was positive and not dread.

After all, he was raised by the literal scum of the Earth… Right? So why does he feel so humane?

Why does he feel the warmth in his chest when he sees the person he loves? And even the simplest touch they have… It makes him giddy.

… He doesn't know how to process that. And because of that, he avoids the person causing such emotions.

He's like Grace, but you'd have to put in effort with him. He's the type to avoid anything and everything that regards the matter of human interaction, and in that regard, to the person he likes.

Not to worry, however— if he likes you enough and understands the emotions he's processing, he slowly opens up and lets you through the many walls he's built up.

Aesop himself doesn't know how to express the many emotions in his heart, but he expresses it as best as he's able to. Be it through speaking or nonverbal gestures, you get what he's trying to show you, and you still love it all the same for his efforts.

He's pretty good in putting up makeup on his lover, and would be found putting it on them anywhere so as long it's private. Hell— ask him to put your makeup on the bed! He might grumble if you move too much, but he definitely will try.

When he's spent from interacting with the others, he seeks you out first. He craves you and your touch, and God forbid you don't give him that. I'm not saying that he's possessive, but he definitely is the type to sulk over it and be petty in return.

… What I mean is, he ignores you for as long as you did to him. Poor Aesop.

He sometimes talks about having to preserve your body when you die one day, opting to find the right coffin for you, makeup that makes you look the same when you're alive, and even offer to put you in the clothes you were on when you first met him.

… Please tell him not to though. It'd be… Questionable if the others heard of it.

He isn't the most confident of survivors, but if you are lucky (or you're in a teasing mood and tease him), there's a rare chance he gets back at you with a surprise kiss.

He finds it the easiest to shut up his lover with one, even if its rare and he knows you'd ask for more. Not that he minds… Surprisingly.

He likes PDA, but only a small bit in public. He hates it if you do more than a simple hand holding, though sometimes he would also crave more. It's very difficult to read him, but when you know him enough, you'd know when to give him what he wants.

Although Aesop has his own quirks, he's one of the few residents that people may have a hard time envisioning that he'd have a chance at romance. And although he agreed to that ideal, having a chance himself was… Rather pleasant for a change.

Patient, he watches him not as Prince, but mine. Yours.

“Are you quite done?”

Indignant, Orpheus just blinks, exhaling a long breath as he relaxes into the cushions at his back, enjoying the weight of Voss in his lap.

Before needle, quill.

How many of the istik write. Sometimes draw. And with some adjustments, practice, Voss had adapted one so that he could draw temporarily onto skin, so he had an outline to follow.

(sometimes, it scrawled runes of ruin, shame on Orpheus that he couldn’t see, face down for a fuck; mouth full of Voss)

Orpheus watches Voss write the runes on his chest, mouthing it slowly as he does. An elegant, careful, and skilled hand. He wonders if he’s ever just told him so. He must have in all these turns, in the Astral; all these days in the Material, together.

He almost does, now.

Almost.

“Will you be raiding soon?” he says instead.

“Yes.” Simple, as he pens the last rune, tipping the edge of Orpheus’ clavicle. “You could come.” Puts down the quill. “Should. You’re waning.”

“I’ve never waned once.”

Voss thumbs beneath Orpheus’ eye, a rumble of contempt rippling under his skin. “Not even you can refuse to bend to the Astral Sea’s laws.”

“I bend to nothing,” he leans closer, “no-one.”

“I recall…different.” Close enough and a kiss, Voss smiles as he feels Orpheus bite his lower lip, and pull.

Voss pushes him back in satisfaction. And he’s heavier again in his lap as he picks up the needle, wiping it dry.

Then with ink, with one poke, he starts.

Ahhhhh thank you thank you so much love!! I'm thrilled you enjoyed this one. It's so, so dear to me.

It actually took me way longer than I wanted and expected to write, purely because I had to get down a cohesive timeline of the githyanki's past, and kind of flesh it out a bit more for my understanding, to see how Orpheus fits into it all and the dynamic with his mother, Vlaakith and Zerthimon.

They're quite young here, but I'm writing some where they're even younger. When they first meet, before Orpheus even has any tattoos, maybe even still has hair, hah. And he's fully into his Fresh Prince of Tu'narath era.

But here...it's finally sinking into his bones the responsibility of what he is, has to do, and a lot of it has been because of Voss almost guiding him in the right direction, for even thought he's the Prince, I see Orpheus as looking up to Voss a lot.

I think...Voss is very clever, with the wired mind of a general, even now. I HC that Mother Gith (advised by Vlaakith, who was like her guiding path for so long, until everything, and they, began to unravel too) picked him early as her own personal guard for more than just his prowess in battle. But his strength of mind, intellect, sharp tongue-

And between them, I think they are only one of the few people who completely have each others trust, but I'm not expressions of affection, and as we know it, languages of love to the githyanki are ever really words. It's like a dance around confessions of the tongue. Anything else - Orpheus submitting physically, sexually to his partner, even other words spin around the meaning, here.

Orpheus' small concern at Voss going raiding, with his pang of longing to join him, be reckless and fuck all this.

Voss' larger concern at Orpheus waning. Expected, of course. A githyanki must be in peak shape at all times. Especially the Prince.

Now up to this moment, it's always been Voss (and a few by Orpheus) who has done the tattoos on Orpheus, and they're almost in a way, a written journey of their lives to that point. Either of them look at one, touch one, are asked about one - they can recall exactly when it was done, where - and why, then.

And now, it's like the final page of a chapter. No. I'd say book. Or slate, for them. Before they start something new.

A last rite.

Someone said something to me about this fic that really just hits me for a lot of things I write -

After a few week you suggest if one of you would move in with the other, which he happily agree

You lived in a crowded apartment so you move in at Michael house.

Michael felt awkward at first but got used to it as time past by.

You always comfort him and reassure him everytime he put himself down.

You also comfort and cuddle him everytime he has nightmares or a breakdown

the kiss wasn’t even planned, he actually just did it in the spur of the moment. it’s the end of the day; you and atsushi are walking home. hand in hand, he steals glances at your face every once in a while.

this is the perfect time, he thinks. i can shoot my shot now. finally. i’m finally growing some balls!

and so he calls out your name, making you trail your eyes up. very gently, he takes your face between his hands and brushes his thumb across your cheeks, admiring your looks for a moment. without thinking another thought—he kisses you smack dab on the lips 🤭

see, in his head, he had this totally well thought out plan. ‘after kissing them, i’ll simply say it was a means to warming up my lips. they’ll get embarrassed and i’ll win. yeah yeah. good plan 🤔 very good plan 🤔’

and so he swiftly grabs your chin, making you look up at his face with wide eyes. he kisses you—and not even a few seconds later he pulls back. about to say the words he planned on saying, he’s interrupted by you.

“wow…damn…” you marvel out. just like that, you wipe off his kiss. he stares at you in shock, not expecting his plan to fail so miserably 🤥

once you explain that it’s a prank, he just begins contemplating his whole life. just sits there on the sofa with a blank look on his face. basically he looks like his wan counterpart whenever his head is empty 0_0 🤔

“it’s okay, aku.” you pat his head, handing him the cup of tea. he doesn’t answer, but takes the tea. he has known defeat. he has known humiliation. but none quite like this. he WILL get payback.

he is !! a big drama queen !! almost too big help !!

it’s just an ordinary day. the both of you are working at the agency. he kisses, hugs, and drags his tall lanky body on top of you all the time, right? right. so he’s not expecting you to wipe off his fucKing sMooch.

cue dramatic, earth shattering gasp. “huUHAH?! why did you just do that?!”

he pretends to be distraught (—to ignore the fact that he’s overthinking this and it’s probably just nothing except his head being a bitch and not shutting up ughsjsj—)

“do what?” you act innocent. he definitely doesn’t like how you’re playing tricks with him, but he prods on anyway. pretending to sulk a bit, he flops his head on your shoulder. he makes sure to let his hair brush against your cheek (because he knows how much you have a weakness for that).

“did i do something wrong? why did you wipe off my kiss 😔?”

godDAMMIT his floofy HAIR and soft voiCE fucking fucKER ?!$&! you have no choice but to surrender !!

“jeez i’m sorry, it was joke. calm down.” you gently pat his head in an attempt to get him back to his usual mood. and it works, of course. faster than you can blink, he’s up again with a cheerful smile on his face.

he’s dumb of ass and emotionally constipated number two. number one is dazai.

he’s had to deal with a lot of pranks while working with dazai during their double black days. but dazai has never tried to wipe his kiss off. wait does that imply there was kissing going on in the first place help 🤔

when someone pranks him, his usual facial expressions before he realizes the joke are 🤨🤬 but then after he finally understands, they’re more like 🤔😟😧😐

you choke on a laugh, playing it off cool. but he knows something is up from the way you’re covering you’re mouth, masking giggles and the tears springing from your eyes. wow. you’re so good at keeping a secret. omg go bestie 🎉

“what’s so funny?” he taps his foot on the ground like an expectant parent trying to discipline his kid. he’s obviously not laughing or understanding shit, so you let out the laugh you were holding in.

“it was a prank. chill.” you dab the corners of your eyes and pat him on the back. he jerks back in shock. “hah?! what kinda—”

you shut him up with a kiss. because knowing chuuya, he’ll simply take his time to uncover the root of the prank and end up ruining the joke. butttt since you’ve kissed him, he’s all fine and dandy to go to work 😉

While Eren kept on rambling about his day as the usual, dusting off the cupboards as he rants his heart out to everyone in the room.

“You understand me, Armin, right?” He finally ends his tirade with a question.

“Huh– Y-yes! Of course, I understand where you are coming from.” Armin agrees.

“This is why I trust you a lot.” Eren smiles before slinging an arm over his shoulders.

You adored at how solid their friendship is, them simply just being each other's person.

Eren ruffled Armin's golden locks as he laughs, and Armin's expressions were just too adorable, so you decided to humor the two.

“Hey, back off, man! That's my boyfriend, he's taken...”

Everyone gasped and turned their heads to you, while Eren lets Armin go with a smile.

“Hah, I knew you two were a thing!”

“Connie owes me cash!” Jean yelled. “Yo!”

“Woa, really?” Mikasa asks for confirmation, actually happy for her friends.

Armin paused for a while and an apparent blush was present on his face. “Yes, me and Y/N are really together.”

Everyone was happy at the news, the cleaning chores now long forgotten as all of you gathered around the table to chat.

“Oi, brats! Who told you you can sit your asses?” The voice of Levi's scolding scared you through your cores before you scram back to your tasks, leaving you and Armin alone on the tables once again

Until Armin suddenly finds himself smiling at the thought of you calling him your boyfriend earlier,

and at the very instant, he let go of the wet rug and turned his head to you with a sweet grin. He couldn’t believe it, he dropped his head and laughed a little.

“Boyfriend, huh?” He smiled. “I like how it sounds from you. Please keep calling me that?”

Levi

When you called him your boyfriend for the first time, it was also the moment he realized his true feelings for you.

“Excuse me.” You carefully knocked on the door at Levi's office where him, Hange, and Erwin had a meeting.

They would've used the conference room but Levi was currently injured, so they saved him the all the walking and brought the meeting to him.

“Hi Y/N! Is everything alright?” Hange greets you with a warm smile as you walk in.

“I'm just here to bring you these. and Levi, it's time to take your pain medicine.” You brought down a tray with three cups of tea, along some of Levi's pills on the side.

“You shouldn't have bothered, I could've done this.” He actually thinks it was very thoughtful of you to bring his friends drinks as well.

“Hey, you are my boyfriend. I'm allowed to worry and take care of you.”

Boyfriend. He froze at the word and it all sinks into him– it was the first time you are referring to him as that. and you two are very much happy with each other; and he likes you a lot.

“That's all, thanks. Please carry on.”

It wasn't obvious but he had heart eyes for you that only you could recognize, while you head to the door, giving him a wink before heading out.

“So, heichou's really in love.” Hange points out.

“What?”

“I thought you were like, only messing with each other.” They elaborated.

“I approve of this.” Erwin agrees, now taking his own cup of tea.

“Your suspicion is right, we're only seeing each other is all...” Levi wanted to keep the relationship down on the low first and so he tried to deny.

“Hmm, come to think, you secretly kiss, take each other out, and this?” Hange enumerates.

“How did you even know–”

“Practically dating.” Erwin agreed.

“That doesn't make me Y/N's stupid– boyfriend.” He finally caves.

“Well, I guess you're someone's stupid boyfriend now.”

The idea of you getting to call him your boyfriend was enough for him to cool off.

It's the first time in a while that Hange and Erwin witnessed a rare, genuine smile from their friend.

After the meeting ended, Levi went straight to meet you at your room, brushing off the cramp in his foot just to see you.

“Levi– what are you doing her–”

“Thank you, for taking care of me...” He sends you a sweet smile before taking a seat by your side on the bed.

“Awe, of course.” You were surprised at how sweet and smiley he was being.

sure thing! as someone who does a lot of unhealthy stuff on a daily basis (pls i can't help it </3) this hits close to home. don't follow my example ><! always be sure to take care of yourself!!

i could not think of a way to mix the two subjects together although they're a very common pair- so i made separate thoughts for them :D! let's start with the insecure part

woooohhhh boy, nagito is also very insecure of himself so hah- expect compliments from him that include degrading speech directed to himself

"you look beautiful, y/n" "really? you... think so?" "more beautiful than the sun at sunset. i honestly can't believe that someone as beautiful as you would be with someone as trashy as me—"

cut him off there before he does a whole speech on how he doesn't deserve you

whenever you achieve something he's the first person to congratulate and compliment you! he's very supportive <3

if ever you feel insecure about yourself, may it be about your appearance, your personality or your intelligence, he's immediately shutting down every negative word about yourself that leaves that pretty mouth of yous and instead counters with compliments and reassurance!

he just— can't see all the bad stuff that you see and he wishes you could see just how much he admires you and how he sees you as someone so far above him.

even if it takes a million compliments to get you to see yourself the way he sees you, he'll be sure to gift you 100 compliments for every flaw and imperfection that only you seem to spot.

i personally headcanon nagito as someone who doesn't know how to take care of himself very well

yes he can cook, bathe, clean, watch his hygiene and all those other stuff but when it comes to just generally taking care of himself like eating his meals, sleeping early or keeping himself well kempt? he's not quite the best in those areas

nagito wants you to take care of yourself so bad but he can't even watch out for himself :( so he tries to make a few changes here and there to his own schedule that end up benefiting both him and you :>

every morning before school starts, nagito is sure to head over to your house with some food that he either made himself, or got at a shop/bakery before heading to your house

knocks a few times before entering your house with a spare key you gave him, and if he finds you still asleep when he goes to your room, he'll just let you rest for a few more moments knowing that you slept late the previous night and instead decides to prepare some of your stuff for the day and make you something to drink for when you wake up :) he's a sweetheart < 3

nagito is a malewife

when you're awake he greets you good morning and compliments you on how beautiful you look which makes you blush before carefully ushering you to the bathroom so you can prepare yourself for the day before going with you to school

whenever it's lunch time he's sure to accompany you to the cafeteria so he can buy you lunch. he's not letting you pay cause he believes he should be treating you to food and not the other way around. won't allow you to split the funds either >:( but that's okay you just quietly slip a dollar into his wallet when he isn't looking

actually he did see he just keeps quiet about it cause he finds it cute how you really want to pay him back even though he said that the food is 100% on him and he just wants to see you happy :)

after classes if you two have homework or projects or a test, he'll accompany you to the library so you two can get some stuff done. he doesn't want you to end up panicking over deadlines or approaching test dates and then end up stressing yourself out which leads to cramming and sleepless nights

if you don't have anything to worry about he'll go with you to a cafe so you two can eat something and just spend time with each other

idk why but i can envision him just going "let's get some food? i have a feeling that you'll skip dinner tonight which isn't hopeful at all" with a playful smile while you lightly elbow his side

brings you home and reminds you of your plans for tomorrow and to sleep early tonight before heading home— not before getting his lil nose kiss tho :) he can't leave without it, makes him think he didn't do a good job as ur bf today (which isn't true he deserves all the kisses he can get. you did a great job today boyfie nagi :>)

when it's a bit a late, around 9:30 or 10 he'll check if you're awake and if you still are, he'll tell you to go to sleep

if you can't sleep however, he'll chat with you until you end up getting tired

if that doesn't work he'll nervously ask if you want to video chat

"would you like to uh, video chat perhaps?" "hm?" "of course, i can understand if you wouldn't wish to see me right now. who would even want to listen to me and have my voice be the final thing someone hears at ni—" "i'd love to have a video chat with you nagi :D!"

you broke him when you sent that message but he's quick to start a video chat with you

you two talk until nagito can see you peacefully snoozing off (he takes a picture of you sleeping cause he thinks you look adorable)

10/10 would recommend as a boyfriend who takes care of you :) he just really cares for you and wants you to take care of yourself. though the best part of taking care of you is that in turn, he was also able to take care of himself <3 yay!

He frequently has to get you out of trouble; be it because of some trouble or a curse, this boy always has to get you out of the mess and he's a little annoyed but does it regardless

Will roll his eyes a lot but he loves you just as much, so he puts up with your antics without complaining.... much

frequently asks "are you actually stupid?", which usually earns him a slap on the shoulder from you

He may be annoyed at you sometimes but he would never dare hurt you in any way, he even shows his appreciation in the most Megumi way possible

When he shows you appreciation, it's usually through simple gestures like offering massages, going grocery shopping with you or buying something you've mentioned you needed (as a casual remark, which you didn't expect him to remember), usually accompanied by him rubbing his neck and averting his eyes, saying, "I thought you'd need this."

takes pictures whenever you hang out but not of you or him

For example, if you were going to have a video game night, he'd take one of the controllers and the games

This boy would totally do any favor you asked of him - not that you would exploit this, but just know that he would

Yuuji is a very good listener and he knows when and what to comment when you tell him something, despite being a little dense.

His bright and cheery attitude never ceases to cheer you up too, no matter in which mood you were before seeing him

He's the kind of friend who would do anything with you. You don't even have to put in a lot of effort in order to convince him, just hit him up casually and he will agree. Bungee Jumping? Easy. Skydiving? No problem.

The two of you are regular customers at the local cinema.

And probably at some fastfood chain too.

Unlike Megumi, Yuuji takes a lot of selfies with you. Most of them are dorky ones where the two of you just grimace and then laugh about how ugly that picture turned out to be. One of them ends up being his homescreen picture.

You actually know him since (at least) middle school - you've become best friends quite quickly, mostly thanks to his easygoing personality. Who doesn't love this boy?

When he discloses that he will move to Tokyo, your first reaction is to be shocked but then that quickly transforms into happiness because it's what he chose to do

Due to personal reasons, you also move to Tokyo not too long after that. One would say it was coincidence when it actuality, it was fate that wasn't allowing you to let go of Yuuji. Not that you wanted to anyway.

He definitely didn't expect that. When you reunite, you just throw up two peace signs and say, "Seems like we're stuck together."

A smile graces his lips and he replies as follows: "Wouldn't have it any other way, if you ask me."

Kugisaki Nobara

You haven't known her for long... but it sure feels like it has been years because you just get along so well

You accidentally bumped into her, making her drop everything. You felt bad, so you invited her to a cup of tea. It clicked almost instantly.

Since you are originally from Tokyo, she insists that you are her personal guide

"If I got lost, that would be terrible, so I hereby appoint you as my personal Tokyo guide."

Nobara often calls you and invites you to hang out in downtown quite spontaneously

expect lots of shopping sprees, lots of laughter and lots of gossip

One thing you started to associate with her was bubble tea. You think of her whenever you drink it alone.

Oh yes, she also likes to call you in the evening to just talk, especially when she has not been able to see you a lot lately due to missions

Sometimes you get her little gifts, like earrings that you thought suited her, and deliver it directly to the students' dorm

There will always be a happy reaction coming from her. She is especially grateful when she sees a little gift after a tough mission.

Gradually, she starts to do the same for you.

"This hoodie was so cool and comfy, I thought I'd get one for both, me and you."

Inumaki Toge

You're a Jujutsu Sorcerer from the Jujutsu Highschool in Kyoto and met this peculiar boy at the Exchange Event, as a rival initially

However, you were impressed and approached him to befriend him. He was pretty hesitant at first but ultimately, didn't sense any hostility coming from you, so he just went with the flow. Who knew, maybe you ended up being a good friend?

At first it was chaos since you had no idea what the hell he meant by "Mustard leaf."

Hah, luck's on your side though because you managed to decode his speech after some time

Nobody knows how you did that but as a matter of fact, you did. Took you long enough, in your opinion.

Sometimes he would grab a paper and write on it to communicate with you nevertheless, he thinks it feels more personal to be able to accurately convey what someone wants to say themself - not that you really needed it after having decoded his speech

As mentioned, you're also a sorcerer but thanks to Toge, you branched out to the medical field simultaneously, just to be able to concoct throat medicine for him. It was an unspoken tradition for you to bring him a bottle of your own throat medicine and onigiri whenever you saw him. The way his eyes lit up was always worth the effort.

Your favorite way to hang out was making onigiris and sushi together, you can't convince me otherwise

Same as Megumi, he does not mind spending quieter evenings with you

He comes to visit you in Kyoto just as many times as you visit Tokyo.

• You and Dazai probably met during his days at the port mafia.

• I can imagine the mafia capturing you because of how much trouble you were causing in a casino.

• UK, when big businesses pay gangsters for security?? Yeah, similarly the casino you were playing at, has paid the mafia.

• You were already banned from many other casinos, as your games either end with you gaining a lot of money, or begin with a dangerous condition.

• Many people were quite afraid of you, and wanted to avoid even being in the same room as you, as they couldn't handle the severity of the danger you pose with every game.

• Anyways, so you were warned by a few members of the mafia twice, but you, being the fearless adventurer you are, flipped them off and continued to seek a life threatening game.

• So then the mafia decided to use violence, and cornered you in a dark alley. You pulled out your beloved gun.

"Well, well, well! Do you boys want a fight!?", you excitedly point the gun at them.

"Put your weapon down, Ms. L/N. We are here to warn you for the final time. Stay away from this casino. Further misbehavior will lead to dangerous consequences."

You hum, thinking up a plan.

"How about this. My revolver has 5 bullets. And there are five of us. How about we all take turns to shoot blindfolded!"

You excitedly shove them in a circular arrangement.

"I'll go first! The rules are that every person gets a chance to shoot from the center of the circle. If the bullet misses, everyone takes a step ahead, closer to the center."

You explain, grinning at the men clad in all black.

"If a bullet hits me, I'll agree to your terms. If it hits one of you lot, then you can't stop me anymore. What do you say?!"

The mafiosi were weirded out by this. What if you had a good aim, or an ability that allowed you to shoot them with your eyes closed? They didn't have much intel on you, and only knew you to be a girl from a rich background, who had come to Yokohama for higher studies.

"That's enough. Grab her-"

• Thats when our boy showed up. Dazai was curious when he overheard some of the men talk about some 'fearless girl that had flipped them off even after two rather threatening warnings.'

• So he had decided to tag along, staying in the shadows, until now.

• "I think it will be a wonderful idea. Play along, gentlemen. I want to see where this goes."

• You shot, and missed. So did the other guy. Then the other one. Now, the circle had shrunk really small. You were almost in the line of fire at this point. There was an 80% chance of getting shot.

• "That's enough." ,Dazai said, as he walked to stand in front of you.

• "You are daring, aren't you. You're not afraid of death."

• Staring into his eyes, you saw a reflection of yourself. A dark, lost soul stared back at you.

• "In fact, you arranged this little game to ensure that you got hurt. You perfectly planned it out, and ensured that as the circle gets smaller, you would be in the direct line of fire."

• "You missed the first shot on purpose, didn't you?"

• He had seen right through your game.

'What's this guy's deal?', you thought.

"Why would you stop the game when it was at its peak? Hah? Whats wrong with you, man?!", you angrily grab his collar. "I was just beginning to have fun, and here you are, ruinjng it!"

• Taken aback by your bravery, he just blinked at you.

"Do you know who I am?"

"Yes, obviously, idiot. But that doesn't give you any right to interrupt our game."

"Oh? So who do you think I am."

You give him a 'baka janiono?' look.

"You are their leader. Probably an executive of the mafia, judging by your expensive suit. Why?"

The thoughts running through Dazai's head were along the lines of :

'Just who is this girl? How does she know about the mafia? Surely my men weren't dumb enough to tell her who they work for. How does she know about my position? She surely didn't just guess that, right?? And why the fuck does a student have a gun? Does her family have connections within the underworld? She obviously doesn't fear death. Will she be a good addition to the mafia?'

• "What are you thinking about, baka? Answer me."

• He smiled sweetly at you, and firmly gripped your wrist, pushing it off his collar.

"There's someone who would like to meet you"

Before you can retort back, he continues,"You seek adventure, do you not? You want to feel something worthwhile. Something akin to facing death, something that will give you an adrenaline rush. I can give you all of that. If you come with me, that is."

• Mori was shocked when he heard about what had happened. He agreed with Dazai's decision to make you join the ranks. He needed such fearless crackheads in his organization.

• He paired you up with the double black, making you an executive too. You hadn't quite agreed to his terms, but he had offered you to just accompany the ginger and the brunette on a mission. And had let you make the final decision .

• You three had to go to an abandoned warehouse, where some people were tampering with the mafia goods. There, you saw how sadistic Dazai was. How manipulative and bad he was. It made you fall for him. Hard. Plus, you realized the risk of being a mafiosi. It was quite thrilling.

• When you got back, you had screamed at mori to let you join. Quite literally begged. And he, ofcourse, agreed. You hadn't even given him a chance to threaten your life, which was the usual norm, when a valuable asset wasn't willing to join the ranks of the feared organization.

• You trained with dazai. And purposely got hit. It turned you on. But you never mentioned anything, in fear of being rejected.

• Dazai, ofcourse, noticed this, and one fine day, confronted you about it. You told him just how much you love him. He was always intrigued by your sadistic side. He saw a part of himself in you. The daring, brave, smart side of yours was something so similar to himself, yet unique. You were seeking the same thing that he was, that is to feel something. He felt sadness, and loneliness, and he never had a purpose in life. You, someone who had it all, a good family, a great marksheet, and a pre set goal in life, were willing to give it away, just to feel something. He, someone who was stripped off of a normal childhood, was never given the opportunity to choose. He used to think that maybe he was to blame. Maybe if he had had better luck, he would have gotten a good childhood, a purpose. But now that he knows you, a genius, smart person, who had it all, but threw it away, he realized that maybe life really is worthless. Maybe, he wasn't to be blamed. And that, oddly enough, made him feel better. To know that no matter how much lady luck favors him, life would still be fucked up, and that it wasn't his fault, made him hate himself less.

• And so, you two became a thing.

• Let's just say, that both of you are equally freaky.

• You want him to dom u, and he gladly accepts

• You guys try it all... I mean, especially with guns.

• I can imagine you both sitting at a boring meeting, when you decide to edge him on, and you're not even touching him. Your gun is.

• You both claim atleast one spare room on every floor of the building, for your.... activities.

• You are like his praise queen.

• He loves that.

• Always rough. Always. And you guys are into spicing it up.

• Anyways, you both never decide to commit double suicide.

• Thats because dazai wants a beautiful way out, while you want to feel the thrill of facing death. You don't really want to die, you just want to know the feeling of almost dying. You want to feel something exhilarating.

• When Dazai decides to leave the mafia, you are all for it. As long as you get to stay by his side, you were ok with it.

• Like Midari, you are a very perceptive person, and can easily guess what's going on in someone's mind. Dazai was easy to read for you, as his thoughts were pretty similar to your own.

• You were smart, cunning, and could read peoples mind with ease. So it was pretty easy for you to guess what's going on in Dazai's mind, sometimes even predicting his next moves.

• You really fit in with the ada, coz that place is filled with crackheads, and you and dazai are no exception lol

• Also, you get along with Yosano really well.

• Like, if you weren't so loyal to dazai, you would have become Yosanos slave. So would i ngl

• Anyways, you and dazai always mess with kunikida. You two prank him till the breaking point. You two are such a menace in the office. Always skipping work, slacking off, but really shining when it comes to actual detective work, like solving mysteries.

• You are a valuable asset to the ada, coz 1. You are smart and 2. You can intimidate the enemy into giving in, thanks to your sadistic games.

• You are also a very good companion. You can easily understand what the other is feeling, and end up comforting the gang.

• I can imagine you roasting Kunikida for being such a nerd, but at the same time giving him accurate and well needed advice .

• You do the same for your bf, and the two of you have many late night convos about topic that Dazai had never discussed with anyone before. Because no one had quite understood him the way you did.

• Midari is actually a pretty deep character, and just like her, you have many layers. There's the sadistic side, the goofy side, the careless side, the intelligent side and the insightful nature.

• You would be his perfect partner, as you'd support his crazy, reckless ideas, but at the same time keep him afloat, and prevent him from drowning in his own thoughts.

TEN OUTTA TEN 1010

Welp, its happened. I’m into No Straight Roads, and the boys with the K-Bop in their step has got me hooked.

So I’m gonna celebrate (for the moment) with lots of gathered info I’ve found, seen, or heard speculated, regarding the Top Boy Band of Vinyl City... 1010. [Possible OCs to come later]

Some of this stuff might be common knowledge, some is already on the wiki, but hey, no shame in having a consolidated list.

But for now...

The Names of 1010 were deciphered by out of universe fans. They are Rin (White), Haym (Yellow), Eloni (Green), Purlhew (Blue) and Zimelu (Red).

An old placeholder model for 1010 had Black Hair and different tron lines.

1010 in binary is... literally just 10.

Eloni does not get fan letters; He’s the “Funny Band member”, and Funny Band Members don’t get fan letters.

1010 wears Sailor uniforms (The US Navy would call them Dress Blues, so think... Popeye. But no hat.) In fact, their flying limo is a god damn Tron-lined Battleship. Even the Cannons dance to the music.

They’re a parody on K-Bop bands or Boy Bands to the West. And while they’re listed as Funky, they’re technically Synthpop. (Haha, Synth)

In the background of their fight, when the Battleship Limo stops for pictures, you can see that there is a set of pictures of 1010. Rin the White has a Fuschia or Purple Background, while all the others have a background matching their aesthetic colors.

1010 have common powers... ... Firing Lasors. ... Levitation (Or small time Flight; as they rush to the side to meet the Cameras) ... “Taking to the Sky”, or just really powerful jumping. ... Being powered by Cheers. ... There’s a reason I left Shield off in a moment.

1010 are both outrageously tall (Mayday only comes to their waist when they stand up properly), and outrageously heavy (did you hear them walk backward in their intro cutscene? How heavy are these guys!?)

It could whatever kind of AI they have, but they are waaaay insynch, almost preemptively. Perhaps 1010 are directly linked to each other?

In most of their appearances outside of battle, they all have the same colored eyes as their aesthetic colors. But in Battle, they all have White eyes. Mind that in their Show Stopper picture, they’re back to having their aesthetic eyes again. Take that as you will.

1010 has associated attacks, when you’re in the Phase facing the Factory and Neon J. ... Yellow has Missiles or Splash Damage explosions. No literally, the yellow droid is the missle. ... Green has Bombs. HIS HAIR IS A BOMB. ... Red has Saws. He-He literally uses Red Droid as the Saw. ... Blue has some sort of Staffs or Whirlwind strike. They are staffs made of Purl-Hew. ... Because of his Picture’s Purple Background, White’s likely isn’t an attack but is, in fact, the Shields that occured early in the battle. Which is probably why they’re never deployed, because how the hell can you make a shield out of Rin Bots.

It was pointed out in one of the many Youtube Comment Sections that 1010′s hairstyles match their respective attacks in some form or fashion. ... Zimelu’s Mohawk indicates his associated Saws. ... Haym’s hair looks like a missile. ... Eloni’s hair looks line a Grenade Pin. ... Purlhew’s flat top hair could indicate the fact that he’s literally used as a Staff End. So basically he’s Blue. That’s his attack. [Hah] ... Rin’s the sexy one. Look, for a Band of Robots with fancy hairdos and attacks, he’s not considered remarkable.

As they are a parody of Boy Bands across the World, they may follow the boy band “archtypes” ... Rin is the Leader, and the Heartthrob (He doesn’t have a weird hairstyle, and he does the most flirting / talking; as well as the most promoted) ... Eloni, as already established, is the Funny Guy, or the Comedian. ... Purl-Hew is the Cool Guy, (consider his Sunglasses) ... Zimelu is the Bad Boy (Mohawk, his ANGRY EYES AARGH) ... Haym’s is apparently considered a Pompadour. Maybe he is also a Bad Boy? Consider his name, he may be the Smart Guy. ... There is no known “Shy Guy” or “Cute Guy (Technically, the Second Heartthrob, but isn’t a threat to first Heartthrob’s position). So, go forth and create.

Fun Consideration on my part. Since Names can have meaning in No Straight Roads and meaning in personal names... ... Rin is a japanese name, and boy can it mean a lot of stuff depending on the Kanji (Some of the meanings are “Dignified” “Compassion” “Cold”). He’s probably coolly impassionate off stage. ... Purl-Hew is apparently a pun on Pearl Hue (cos I guess blue Pearls). Perhaps he likes puns. ... Zimelu is an ooold fortress in Lativa apparently. Perhaps he has a warish personality. Or I guess knows very Niche military history. (Perhaps, in-universe, it was the name of a base Neon J served at?) ... Haym is the name shared by a few people, but in the themes of music, its probably Nicola Francesco Haym (Italian Poet, Opera Librettist, Composer, Manager, Editor and Numismatist (That’s uh, a guy who studies Currency)). Perhaps our Haym is quite the Nerd. ... the name Eloni means Lofty. Which can me “Of Imposing Height” (They all are), “Noble or Exalted Nature” (Possibly?) “Proud, Aloof or Self-Important” (They all are that too, yes), or in regard to Lofty Wool “Thick and Resilient” (I mean, if you look at those thighs-- Ahem). So basically Eloni’s name defines all the group... Wow, poor fella. No wonder he’s the Comedian, he’d have to pull anything to get noticed (when its not about his hair) [THE DUDE DABS]

If Battledroids all have background memories to be more efficient in combat... Does 1010 have backup memories from Neon J?

Metro Division shows other kinds of Robots, and the progression of 1010′s Mark Models (1 looks like your typical Sailor, 2 looks a bit like our 1010 but more droid, jointed and blocky, and our 1010 is currently mark 3... There are 4 known Types of Droid, so a 4th Mark may be on the way)

Neon J, Manager and Creator, is a Vetren of Vinyl City’s Navy (It only has a Navy); and his District is literally a Theme Park mashed with a Ship Yard.

Neon is the 10th element of the Periodic Table, and J is the 10th letter. Dude loves his 10s.

Considering how he replaces the bots in battle, or even outright uses them as weapons... Perhaps his “Troops” are not the Bot bodies, but the AI possibly hosted inside? 1010 has more personality out of battle after all, and Neon is seen fervently protecting 1010 when their eyes share their hair color. (As their eyes are only white in battle...) Hm, mayhaps the HC is, that when their Eyes have color, the AI is truely present.

Neon is a Cyborg, note that his body appears to be the same kind of droid as 1010′s, with a Radar head. His brain is apparently in his radar, and as we saw post-battle, that head was smashed to hell. Perhaps the reason he was reminiscing so much and though that BBJ was really after him, was because of some serious onset head or brain trauma.

Apparently, Vinyl City has or has had Border Wars. This could be a reference to the Korean DMZ Conflicts (As 1010 does distinctly include Korean K-Pop, and South Korean men do have to serve 2 years in the military forces by law), but there have been hundreds of different Border Wars throughout the world. [ I wonder what war Vinyl City was in. Perhaps against the Artist Capital of the World, Canvas City ] [ Oh take me down to the Canvas City, where the grass is green and the pics are pretty--]

Neon’s passion is Dancing.

Neon J and DJ Subatomic Supernova do seem to be in a lot of pictures together. No wonder everybody ships them.

Neon J used to make toys, as seen by the collectibles you can get. Done by hand too. Though if each toy found is a stage in his life... I wonder who the doll with the violin is.

Think maybe Neon J has direct control over 1010? I mean they share the same voice, they have a passion for poses and dancing, he does directly command them...

Are Cyborg parts cheap? Or was Neon J someone important enough in the Vinyl City Navy to actually become a cyborg? Military doesn’t do expensive prosthetic surgeries for random grunts without reason.

Okay, regarding what the Azkar faction is. Its probably suppose to be Askar. Azkar is a type of Islamic Prayer. Askar is actually Arabic for Army. So it’d be The “Army Faction” (which makes more sense for a nation city-state that only has a Navy)

The place he called “Kewan” is not a real world place. Its either Persian for “Saturn” (What, is he... Is he a SAILOR SCOUT!?) or Kurdish for Mountains (He does mention mountains).

for being the type of person who pays attention to detail in almost every other aspect of his life, fashion really is not one of them. he’s not one to put an excessive amount of care into what he’s wearing. he’ll try to get his hair to do something. . . decent, but then he throws on a nice enough looking outfit and he’s out the door. he doesn’t always have enough brain function for that, considering it’s constantly running a mile per second with a million other things he has to do that day. so, it does take him a second to notice your change in wardrobe.

the first time you walk down to the common room in a pair of shorts cut a bit higher than your normal pair with a loose t-shirt, he notes out loud that you look really cute and comfortable before asking if you’re ready for your run together. doesn’t really think much about it after that.

it’s not untiil around the second or third time that he realizes this is something out of the ordinary for you, especially once you’ve put together an actual going out outfit that shows off more of your legs, arms, and chest. he’s red from his neck all the way up to his ears.

Holy crap they - they’re so hot - I mean, is that disrespectful to think of them? No, I don’t think so - M-Maybe, I shouldn’t say that out loud, I might sound super weird but, I’ve just never seen them like - they’re so cute, oh my gosh! Ah, right I’m supposed to be paying attention to them! C’mon Izuku get it together!

will then stutter out the most flustered and chopped up compliment you’ve ever heard from him so far. he’s never seen you in summer clothes before and he thinks you look so good, so he’s a little overwhelmed by it.

he literally adores your every breath no matter what you’re wearing, but, well he’d be a horrible liar if he said that your summer outfits weren’t some of his absolute favorites.

shoto is much more observant than people give him credit for, he’s just not as obvious about it as midoriya is. he’s a quiet people watcher, who will silently take in all of the little details about someone or something that has done enough to catch his interest. and you have certainly done more than enough to catch his interest since you are the one he loves.

from day one he has been tuned into every shifting detail of your presence. it’s just not hard for him to tell when something is different with you, especially something pertaining to you physical appearance. so, yes, he immediately notices when you’ve switched to wearing clothes that are more revealing and he will say with a straight face that it makes his knees weak.

the sight of you in summer clothes is never one he thought would knock the breath from his lungs so hard, but he loves every second of it and will not hesitate to shower you with compliments. he was already abundant in the praise of your beauty and personality, but just expect even more from him.

if he ever figures out the reason why you changed your style or if you tell him, he will let you know how happy he is that you are finally seeing what he has seen all along. breathtaking beauty with lips he would kiss breathless.

bakugou:

katsuki notices the second he sees you but won't let you know verbally that he loves your new summer look. his way of showing his appreciation is clear through his roaming fingers. literally cannot keep his hands to himself even if you’re in public, and he’s never been a fan of PDA other than the occasional hand-holding or arm around your waist.

it doesn’t matter how hot or humid the summer gets, expect at least one of his hands to be somewhere on you. resting on your exposed thigh while you sit with your legs slung across his lap in the common room. if you’re wearing a shorter cropped shirt while you’re out, his arm is around your waist and his fingers trail lightly, sometimes ticklish, absent patterns into your soft side. when he thinks no one is looking he’ll press a warm kiss to the top of your shoulder blade.

he knows what its about without you having to tell him and he truly is proud of you for being confident enough to show off whats yours because that means he gets to parade around with you at his side like a peacock with its feathers fanned out.

Hell yeah, this is my partner. Keep your fucking eyes off creeps, their too damn good for you anyway.

very much has to act like the cool guy when he notices your style change because he’s having a full freak out in his head, he just can’t let you know that. but will give you his usual cheeky compliment that you know is entirely genuine despite the mischievous twinkle in his eye and give you a quick wink for added effect.

“But no really babe you look amazing. I’m digging the new look.”

He’s a complete giddy dork the entire time, walking around with a big dopey grin on his face because, hah my baby looks so amazing and the guys are gonna be s o jealous. can’t wait to brag to sero later.

he likely doesn’t know the reason you’ve gone out of your way to change your look for summer, other than the immense heat, but he does know that he’s super happy that you look super happy with what you’re wearing. and that’s all that really matters to him.

kirishima:

the only one who verbally announces his appreciation for your new look immediately after giving you his usual sweet greeting kiss and pulling back to admire you, taking you all in.

“You look even more amazing today baby! What the hell who gave you the right to be so cute all the time?” he’ll bring you in for another sweet kiss, then shower your whole face in light kisses.

kirishima has known that you get a little self-conscious sometimes, though you’ve never had to tell him this. he’s picked up on the same sort of nervous ticks he use to show when he was a bit younger and not as sure of himself, the ones that he, quite honestly, still has today. and he’ll let you know that he’s happy you’re beginning to feel more comfortable with not just yourself but around him and others as well.

he’s sort of the same way as bakugou. his hands roam a bit more, just because he wants to appreciate the newly exposed parts of you. not to mention, he’s just the slightest, tiniest bit more protective over you. and he wants to make sure others don’t get the wrong idea. you are his partner and his partner only.
