Virgin Giyu...
A/N: Between that AI pic of Giyu in a suit & Peach’s (@peachdues) The Great War coming soon, Giyu has been a lingering thought on my mind recently… also if it ain’t clear… smut >:)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Virgin Giyu, who’s trembling from a mix of excitement and anxiety as your fingers slowly undo the buttons of his uniform.
Virgin Giyu, who’s turning deep shades of crimson as you talk him through everything you’re doing to him.
Virgin Giyu, who’s breath is coming out in quiet pants as your fingers trail down the milky expanse of his chest. Feeling the way his heart is thrumming against his ribcage in anticipation.
Virgin Giyu, who’s never been shy about his body until he’s completely exposed before you. Quietly wondering if his body is enough, if you’re pleased by what you’re being presented with.
Virgin Giyu, who’s blush is seeping all the way down to his chest as you shower him in compliments, lips and tongue gliding along his warm skin… Goosebumps following in their wake.
Virgin Giyu, who’s gnawing at his bottom lip until it’s red and swollen, trying to keep any and every noise he makes hidden as you fall to your knees before him, quietly asking his permission.
Virgin Giyu, who’s getting overwhelmed but is too shy to say it, eyes darting from yours to try and find some sort of confidence and pray you don’t notice his building anxiety.
Virgin Giyu, who’s shivering as your hands run along his thighs in a soothing manner, promising that you can stop if he’s feeling too nervous to keep going. That his feelings are important.
Virgin Giyu, who’s building anxiety fades again from your reassurance, shaking his head at your offer to stop and quietly encouraging you to keep going. He wants this, badly.
Virgin Giyu, who can’t stop the noise that he makes when your hands gingerly wrap around the length of his cock. Feeling it hot and heavy under your fingers, twitching with need as pre leaks from his irritated and needed tip… begging to be touched further.
Virgin Giyu, who’s hand finds its way to your hair, gripping it tighter than he ever intended as your tongue licks a fat, wet stripe along the underside of his cock.
Virgin Giyu, who’s hips are jerking upwards against his will, thighs twitching as his breathing comes out in short, desperate pants. Hazy eyes focused on the way you take him into your mouth.
Virgin Giyu, who comes embarrassingly fast, spilling into your mouth with wide, water eyes and burning hot cheeks. Apologies spilling from his lips as you look a little caught of guard from his sudden and without warning release.
Virgin Giyu, who’s mouth is parted in shock as you pull off of him, swallowing his release before smiling sweetly up at him. Praise leaving your lips as you tell him how good of a boy he is for coming.
Virgin Giyu, who’s nearly out of breath as he assures you he still has enough in him for you to properly take his virginity.
Virgin Giyu, who’s… not a virgin anymore as you press his back against the sheets and sink yourself down on his cock :)

Thinking about giyuu who wakes up painfully hard on the nights he sleeps over at your apartment, feeling your soft skin rub against him as you roll around throughout the night, soft whines escaping your lips as you dream. He's needy, achy by the time your eyes flutter open, trying everything to not grind against your ass in your tiny little sleep shorts, but your not blind to the feeling of his stiff cock slotted between your thighs, pushing back against him as you mumble goodmorning to him, eliciting a whine from your boyfriend. Mornings like this were your favorite, seeing and feeling giyuu needy was a treat you could never overindulge in.

Since you do Demon Slayer requests, could I request Tanjirou, Giyuu, and Douma's s/o(s) petting their hair as they start to doze off on their lap?
Demon Slayer men (and 1 demon) + falling asleep in s/o's lap
Tanjiro Kamado
It was, for once, a peaceful night. The fireflies dancing around the garden of Butterfly Mansion, while Tanjirou enjoyed the sweet smell of jasmine in the air.
“What are you doing out here?” Tanjiro perked up when he heard [Y/N]’s voice behind him. Soft, but still able to be heard. “You’ll catch a cold.”
“Oh, I’m ok.” He insisted, with his usual comforting smile. “I was going to head in but….” He looked down at his lap where Nezuko was resting. In her petite form almost fully in his lap as she dozed.
[Y/N] chuckled. “I suppose you’re pinned then. I’ll join you.”
They sat down beside Tanjiro. Both their feet dangling off the edge of the porch as they looked out over the garden. “Hopefully she’ll get up soon. I don’t know what it is but ever time she lays on my lap she goes right to sleep.”
“She trusts you.” Tanjiro looked up and over to [Y/N] curiously. “Plus, I’m sure it’s comfortable. Haven’t you ever taken a nap in someone’s lap before?”
“Oh. No.” He replied. Nervously scratching his cheek. If he had it had been years. Perhaps with his mother, or father, when he was much younger and certainly not a big brother. “I think it would be pretty silly.”
“It’s not silly.” [Y/N] insisted.
They then got up and adjusted so that they were sitting on their ankles behind Tanjiro, and gently patted their lap. “Come on. Try it. This way you won’t bother Nezuko either.” Tanjiro blushed and gulped a little. It was a little embarrassing, being in a position like that. It was also embarrassing on how much he wanted to try it.
Carefully he leaned back until his back was flat against the wood and his head was in their lap. He suddenly realized that the roof over the porch had little butterflies and flowers carved into it. He’d never bothered to look up, so he never noticed. It was comforting, he thought.
Very quickly Tanjiro was asleep as well, dozing off with his sister. Nezuko eventually did wake up, rubbing her eyes with tiny fists, and noticed her brother was asleep. Her big eyes turned to [Y/N], who placed their finger over their mouth in a silent shush. The little demon didn’t say anything in response. She just got up, jumped off the porch with a quiet thud, and went to chase fireflies.
Giyuu Tomioka
A big part of being a member of the Demon Slayer Corps was traveling. Demons and evil never rested, and the ones that caused the most havoc tended to wander. The corps went where they were needed. Which could be any area in Japan.
“Why don’t you get some rest?” [Y/N] asked rhetorically as they and Giyuu bounced along in the back of a wagon. Along with lots of travel came lots of unconventional ways of getting there. Not every mission had a luxury train to get them there.
Giyu grunted, but still sat up with his arms crossed. [Y/N] sighed.
“You’d feel better.” Giyu glanced over at them from the corner of his eye. “I know when you’re tired or upset Giyu. You can’t hide it from me.”
They had been together a long time. Originally partners before they became partners. The little ticks and subtle hints in Giyu’s mood that were often lost on others were an open book to them. One that he should know by now.
“I can't sleep on hay. Makes me itchy.”
[Y/N] smiled softly, then adjusted to make their lap open & free. “Rest here then. No hay or scratchy surfaces. I won’t tell anyone you took a nap on the way.”
Giyu didn’t say anything, but [Y/N] could tell their mind was reeling about it. Eventually, he submitted and laid his head down. “Thanks.”
“Don’t thank me just yet. After you get some sleep it’s my turn.”
There was the faintest hint of a smirk on Giyu’s lips before he eventually fell asleep. Rocked there by the wagon and warm, damp smell of hay around them.
Douma
A big sigh echoed across the room as Douma heaved it out, followed by a yawn. “I’m bored.” Being a cult leader was really rather boring. All he had to do was sit here and listen to people’s problems. And since he didn’t care what happened one way or the other, to the problem or his followers, then there was really no interest to be held in the situation. He just sat here, listening to someone play the shamisen, while people brought him their problems and offerings he wouldn’t eat.
“Where’s [Y/N]?” He asked. Examining one of the many mandarins brought to him as a present, and not having the stomach to even consider eating it, before he tossed it aside. “I haven’t seen them all day.”
“It’s only noon Douma-sama.” The demon growled. He didn’t ask for the time. “But, I will find them. They were helping with the new members earlier today, so they must still be doing that.”
“New people….” To a normal cult leader that would be a good thing, but to Douma it was just another headache.
Sure, more people to choose from when he was selecting his meals, but also more people to listen to. Maybe he should make some sort of decree that the Gods asked for their silent contemplation and meditation so he didn’t have to hear them whine anymore. Yeah, that would probably work.”
“Lord Douma-sama?” The demon perked up when he heard his name and saw [Y/N]. “You wanted to see me?”
“[Y/N]-chan!” He beamed brightly as he perked up in his seat with a big grin. “I did. I wanted to see you because I missed you!”
“I’m flattered Lord Douma-sama.”
The pink in their cheeks and the subtle smell of desire made Douma’s stomach tighten in hunger. But he doesn’t want to eat them. Yet.
Once and a while he would get a favorite. No particular rhyme or reason. He would just decide to keep one of the humans as a pet, more than an hors d'oeuvre. It usually worked out well, as humans were pretty stupid and susceptible to flattery, and he was a master manipulator.
“Come sit by me. I wanted to borrow you for a moment.” [Y/N], of course, instantly came to his side and sat down. The demon giggled a little before he dramatically laid down in their lap. “Ahhhh….that’s better.”
“Is this all you wanted of me, Lord Douma-sama?”
“For now.” He replied. Eyes closed, with a cat ate the canary grin on his face. “You don’t mind, do you?”
“Of course not.” They replied, without question. “I’m happy to be of any service that brings you comfort Lord Douma-sama.”
He can smell a wave of sickly-sweet perfume coming off [Y/N] that he’s come to realize is ‘love’. Douma has never felt it, but he has smelt it before. Bombarded with the scent from his followers. Clinging to those people left behind by their lovers as he devoured one and the other fled for safety. His last favorite had the same smell, but not for him. A ‘mother’s love’ and all that. Not that he believed any of it.
“This will make me happy for now. But if I think of anything else I’ll let you know.”
“Of course Lord Douma-sama.”
The demon yawned and started to doze. Still bored, but at least mildly entertained by his new pillow. He supposed he’d have to find a new favorite soon; since this one was becoming stale and dull. For now though, this was fine.

Requested: Anon
Request: Hihi!! First off all I hope you are having an excellent day / afternoon / night! May I request some headcanons of the hashiras seeing reader (who's also a hashira) as an older sibling figure (Gender Neutral if possible!)?? If it's possible all of them, if not that's alright! Please and thank you! ^^
A/N: This took far longer than I thought, sorry about that.
General
So for a little bit of context you have imitation breathing, which means that you can execute any other type of breathing after seeing it, you freaked out the others when they first met you because of it.
They all saw you as an older sibling even if you weren’t actually older than them, you joined before most of them and had been there with them and had yet to leave.
You were close with the master because of how long you had been a Hashira and you often spent time with him and he asked your opinion on a lot of things.
You were the one that was often called for a rescue mission when the Hashira needed help, you never really stayed in one place, you travelled around a lot so you were probably the closest to trouble at any given time.
They all loved you, none of them said a sincere bad thing about you, they might tease you from time to time but you honestly teased them just as much.
They each had their own way of greeting you but you made sure that you split your time with all of them otherwise there’d be complaints from everyone except for Giyu or Mitsuri.
There aren’t many outside of the Hashira that knew you, you were more like a phantom that the demon feared.
Mugen had fought you once and you both came away gravely injured, the upper moons knew of you and hated you and the lower moons had been killed by you on a few occasions and promptly replaced.
Now let’s get a little more personal.
Giyu Tomioka
🌊 Giyu is often the one to take a step back and wait for the other to finish whatever they wanted with you, he never thought that he was worth your time and you were likely going to have to seek him out to actually spend time with him. 🌊 This doesn’t mean that he doesn’t want to spend time with it’s just that his inferiority complex is acting up again. 🌊 That being said, once it’s just the two of you it’s easier to talk to him, he might still be quiet but you often talk to him and soon enough he’ll involve himself in your conversations. 🌊 If you tell him that you have an interest in something, if he comes across it on his travels he’ll pick it up and give it to you the next time that he sees you and he always remembers what versions of something that he got you, so you never end up with doubles. 🌊 Compliment his jacket, if you close enough he might even tell you what had happened then give him that jacket and from there you’ll realise that survivors guilt weighs on his mind. 🌊 Giyu is one of the youngest and yet acts like one of the oldest, so sometimes you have to remember that his view of the world would be different than yours and you explain the nature of friendships to him because he really doesn’t understand them. 🌊 When you were out on missions with Giyu, you often let him take the lead, you wanted him to be confident in himself, when he was on his own. 🌊 You were probably the only person he was confident in starting a conversation with and/or asking to spend time with. 🌊 You never missed a chance to stick up for him no matter what the others said, he was probably the one with beliefs closest to yours. You did agree with his choice for Nezuko and Tanjiro after all.

Obanai Iguro
🐍 Obanai was snarky as hell and was often sassing you in some way, you were never not hitting him upside the head for trying to start a fight with someone. 🐍 The rest of the Hashira watch with great amusement when you were both involved in arguing back and forth with each other neither one of you ready to admit defeat. 🐍 His snakes often wrapped around your arms or neck, so whenever they went missing he knew that you were around. Sometimes they’d even take your side in an argument, especially the argument about his feelings for Misturi. 🐍 You’ve told him on many occasions that he should just tell her how he felt but he kept denying that he felt anything at all. Which we all know is a lie so you teased him about it every chance that you got. 🐍 Your arguments with Obanai were strictly verbal considering the fact that you are physically better than him, he never tried to take past that. 🐍 Obanai spent a lot of his time trying to sneak up on you but it never worked, that was usually the greeting that you got from him. 🐍 When you were on a mission with Obanai you often took a step back to allow him to do his thing, you helped him where you needed to but for the most part it was his mission and he’d complete it. 🐍 You often rolled your eyes at his unrealistic expectations of others, he very rarely berated you because you very rarely came back with any injuries, that being said he was probably harsher on you than the others because you would fight back. The next time that he came back injured you were the first one to comment. 🐍 You were probably the only other person that he could stand spending time around without some kind of return and you were probably the only person that didn't get hurt by everything that he said.
Tumblr media
Sanemi Shinazugawa
🌬 Sanemi treated people a certain way because of the way that he was treated which was why you were a little more gentle with him where you could be. There were times that called for you to be firmer with him but for the most part you tried to avoid clashing with him. 🌬 He learned to respect you after picking a fight he had no chance of winning, now he challenges you to fights to see how much he’s grown in the time that he hasn’t seen you. He literally greets you with a punch and there hasn’t been able to dodge yet. 🌬 You often told him off for the way that he treated his brother, you understood the way he felt about loss but that didn’t condone the way that he pushed his brother away and hurt his feelings. 🌬 Because of that you actually ended up spending a lot of time with Genya too, you made sure that he didn’t feel like it was his fault that his brother treated him the way that he did and honestly that made Sanemi kind of jealous sometimes. 🌬 Sanemi did ask you how Genya was getting on when you did see him because he refused to go anywhere need him. 🌬 You almost never agreed with the way that Sanemi went about things and even got angry with him at the meeting for the way that he handled Nezuko, you even put yourself between the box and his sword at one point. Which you got a mumbled apology for later. 🌬 You were often the mediator when he was on missions, he could be a bit harsh and sometimes he didn’t look before he leaped so you were the one to watch his back and maybe point him in a different direction. 🌬 Sanemi would never admit that he liked having you around but you biggest clue was that he never told you to go away and actually listened to a suggestion that you gave him every now and then.
Tumblr media
Gyomei Himejima
🪨 Gyomei was the oldest of the bunch and the one that needed you the least, he’d spend time with you because he wanted to not and you were able to spend time with him because you wanted to not because you thought there was something that you could offer him. 🪨 You guys trained together all the time and by extension made each other way stronger than you would have been alone. 🪨 You were probably the only person that could keep up with him on a mission and with your breathing allowing you to copy his means that he didn’t have to worry about the strength that you possessed because it equaled his in most scenarios. 🪨 You were always there to make sure that he was okay, you comforted him when he cried no matter how small the issue that caused him pain was. 🪨 You engaged in prayer with him where you could and even asked him about his beliefs when you guys had the time to talk properly. 🪨 He warmed up to you easily but that was probably because you had been together for longer than any of the other Hashira, you both know things about each other that none of the others did. 🪨 You tried not to disrespect his beliefs or make his go against his principles and he knows that you're trying your best even going as far as offering to give the killing blow if it helps. 🪨 He’d often mindlessly talk to you about anything and everything, his voice was always soft and he encouraged you to give your views (which was probably why you knew so much about each other). 🪨 Gyomei was the one that you’d often spend time with when you had been through something taxing, he doesn't always need to talk or fight sometimes you can both sit there.
Tumblr media
Muichiro Tokito
☁ Honestly for the longest time you didn’t know if he even knew who you were, he proved that he did one day when he mumbled your name in conversation. ☁ You were a little more protective of him though because he was the youngest of the Hashira, he was very good at looking after himself when he needed to. ☁ You would often be the one to relay information that he missed when his mind wondered, he’d often tug at your arm to point out a cloud as you half listened to the conversation so you wouldn’t both be lost. ☁ There would be times when he’d use you as a pillow and you’d never wake him, unless there was a mission you needed to go on or there was some kind of danger. ☁ It didn’t take long for you to realise that he didn’t put much stock in emotions, so when he talked he didn’t necessarily mean to hurt your feelings and you often had to defuse situations between him and the others. ☁ On missions you wouldn’t need to watch his back in the actual fight he was pretty good at doing that himself, it was in the moments that you were travelling from place to place or looking for information on the demon that you needed to be there. ☁ Sometimes you carried him to where he needed to go but that was faster than any other means of transportation. ☁ Muichiro would often use you to hide from conversations or interactions because the others were less likely to bother him when he was with you. ☁ He was more like an aloof little brother, you checked in more often with him to make sure that he was okay and worried that he’d get more lonely than the others so you hung around with him a little more than the others.
Tumblr media
Kyojuro Rengoku
🔥 Bless this ray of sunshine, he’s probably the only one that actually asks how you're doing from time to time. 🔥 He respects you and treats you as such, he offers you food that he thinks is tasty and strongly advises that you taste it. You’d always accept what he gave you and compliment him on his tastes. 🔥 Rengoku would actually ask you for help when he needed it, as well as drag you into whatever stupid thing he and Tengen were getting up to that day, since you were the only one fast enough to keep up with them. 🔥 Rengoku was more than happy to introduce you to his brother who you became fast friends with. He made you promise that you’d look after Senjutro if anything happened to him. 🔥 That being said, you weren’t actually going to let something happen to him and that was why you went after him when Mitsuri said that she had a bad feeling, you ended up saving his ass when Akaza came calling (that was the day Muzan decided that you were a nuisance that needed getting rid of). 🔥 Rengoku holds you closer from there on, even going as far as introducing you to people as his sibling. 🔥 He’s usually the first to greet you and you always smile no matter how loud he’s being, took the time to learn and/or teach him sign language for stealth missions together or general secret keeping. 🔥 Rengoku was one of the older Hashira and yet ended up being one of the most childish so you spent a lot of time making sure that he was okay but he’s the one that you get the most reward from because he shows his gratitude for you.
Tumblr media
Tengen Uzui
🔊 Tengen was the one that always successfully snuck up on you, you hated every moment of it but no matter how hard you tried he got you every time. 🔊 He would often challenge you to a race and you were the only person that could beat him, but that being said you were still in a rivalry and there was a scoreboard with the other Hashira had placed bets on. 🔊 Tengen actually tried to get you to be one of his wives which you denied, if only because your independence was important to you. 🔊 On that note his wives love you and when they can’t go on a mission they’ll send a message to you, to ask if you can keep an eye on him, which you had no problem doing. Though you had no problem looking out for them, Tengen would often send you a separate letter asking you to keep an eye on them while he was gone. 🔊 Tengen is forever jealous of the food Hina kept aside for you, the gift that Suma made for you or how Makio would always ask how you were doing after he came back from a mission. 🔊 They invite you for dinner all the time so when you are in the area you stop by and join them. 🔊 After getting word that Tengen’s wives had gone missing you were the one to save them from Daki, then promptly slapped Tengen around tha back of the head for putting 7 different people in harm's way before asking you for help (Zentsu and Inosuke were so confused, Tanjiro had to explain that you were a Hashira). 🔊 You help him beat Daki and Gyutaro. Gyutaro referred to you as the phantom which confused everyone but now that’s all that Tengen will call you. 🔊 Tengen is by far the loudest of the Hashira and the one you probably had to watch the closest because despite the fact that he was a trained shinobi and probably the fastest Hashira out there, he’d forgo all of that for a flashy entrance and that will be what gets him killed.
Tumblr media
Shinobu Kocho
🦋 Shinobu was reluctant to actually treat you as a sibling, after what happened to her sister that part of her was closed off for two reasons. 🦋 The first fear and the second not wanting to replace the sister that she had already lost. 🦋 You never tried to replace her sister and you never pushed her to be more than she wanted with you so the relationship developed slowly. 🦋 She was probably the only one that you needed to earn the trust of but that happened over many injury treatments. 🦋 You really earned her trust when you got very badly injured for her and she spent months nursing you back to health, it was then that you told her about your relationship with her sister. 🦋 You often drew fire on missions with Shinobu, you knew that she worked better being about to get a knick in and most of the time, she was testing something new so you served to keep the demon alive long enough to see if whatever new poison she had developed worked, all while getting jabs at each others fighting skill or the fact that you gotten hit. 🦋 She’d often send you off with something new that she had developed because she knew that you’d stay alive long enough to report back to her. 🦋 You guys could spend hours talking about anything and everything, most of the time it was Shinobu talking through ways to treat wounds so that she was sure that you could make it back here to get properly treated. 🦋 You guys would often have sarcasm battles with large smiles on your face, anyone who saw them wouldn’t know if you guys were serious or not. 🦋 Your relationship was probably the closest to a love hate one, no one could tell whether you actually liked each other or not and that was for you to decide.

Mitsuri Kanroji
❤ Literally worries for you all the time, from the moment that she met you to the present day. ❤ Always wanted a sister, so it took literally no time at all for you to become close, she’d come to you whenever she felt like something bad was going to happen or when she needed encouragement. ❤ Girls nights happened often if you were both in the same place and that meant that she helped you with self care and you encouraged her to face the crush that she had on a certain snake hashira (never worked but you tried). ❤ You guys communicate with looks and in some cases noises, you’ll be able to tell what she’s thinking and send back a response that she understands completely. ❤ You watched her carefully when she felt strongly about something. Her health took a back seat sometimes, so you made sure that she ate properly and looked after herself especially when she felt guilty about something. ❤ You often found yourself telling her that she wasn’t a burden to you or any of the other Hashira. ❤ You two have so much fun when you are on a mission together, she likes that she has your full attention and there’s no one to hide from, she could be herself around you. ❤ As much as you both acted like siblings, the love that she felt from you reminded her of a parent and she wouldn’t change it for the world, being away from her family and the people that she grew up with, she likes that feeling that she gets from you.

How You Met
| Masterlist |
Tanjiro Kamado:
You met in the Final Selection.
He saved you from a demon, although neither of you ever got each other's names. You survived and went on to become a Slayer with the others.
Nezuko Kamado:
You met in Asakusa.
Well, maybe not met, per se, but you accidentally bumped into the Kamado siblings and apologized. You offered to buy them both some food, but Tanjiro politely declined and they kept going.
Zenitsu Agatsuma:
You met shortly after you got your first assignments as Slayers.
You were on your way to a village when you ran into Zenitsu, who immediately noticed that you were a girl and started groveling on his knees before you, begging you to marry him.
You tried to push him off, but he kept at it until he recognized you as one of the ones from the Selection. He then started begging you to protect him until you knocked him out with the handle of your sword and fled.
Inosuke Hashibira:
You met during the battle with Kyogai.
You were one of the ones who came as backup, although you mostly kept outside the battle due to the two boys rushing in immediately and leaving you on standby (your exact words were 'This is total bullshit', but Tanjiro pleaded for you to stay back in case they needed fresh backup. You couldn't say no). You helped guard Nezuko's box when Inosuke barged out of the house, adamant to fight.
You tried your best to fend him off, but you unfortunately sustained a nasty shoulder wound from his sword and collapsed, leaving Zenitsu to guard Nezuko alone.
Giyuu Tomioka:
You met during one of his visits to a Wisteria house.
Your family dedicated themselves to helping the Pillars, although you secretly detested them for their general behavior (Sanemi cussed you out when you accidentally spilled a pail of water on him, Tengen's tastes were a bit expensive, and both Obanai and Muichiro were too cold). So far, the only nice ones were Mitsuri, the love pillar, and shinobu, the insect pillar, although Shinobu's aura kinda freaked you out.
But one day, an injured man with unruly black hair in a ponytail came to your door. The water pillar, it seemed, a taciturn man whose name was Giyuu. You were wary around him, but he proved to be kind enough that when he left the next morning, you hoped he would come around again.
Kyojuro Rengoku:
You met during a demon attack on your village.
A rogue demon was going around killing and eating. It nearly got to your family, but luckily the flame pillar Kyojuro arrived and killed it just in time.
Your family vowed to repay the favor someday. You were so impressed with his exuberant demeanor and his moves that you were determined to meet him again.
Muichiro Tokito:
You met on the way to a hot spring.
You had just finished your job for the day and were on your way to relax in a well-known spring. On the way, you accidentally bumped into the mist pillar. You apologized, and he merely kept walking without acknowledging you.
It irked you, and you vowed that if you ever met him again, you'd give him a piece of your mind.
Shinobu Kocho:
You met at the Butterfly Estate.
You were badly wounded after a fight with one of the more powerful demons, and you were rushed off to the estate. While you healed, you met your superior, the insect pillar. She was rather kind to you during your stay, and when you were healed, you gave her a box of dango from your home village as a thank-you.
Gyomei Himejima:
You met during one of his vists to a Wisteria House.
You had grown rather curious about the taciturn man, and so when he visited, you went to his room and offered to talk while you both ate. Your parents were wary of it, but he didn't mind, so you two sat and talked for hours.
You were surprised to learn that he was blind, but he intrigued you with his stories. When he left the next morning, you hoped to see him again.
Sanemi Shinazugawa:
You met during a battle with a demon.
The battle against Lower Moon Six was a little tougher than you anticipated, but right at the last moment, Sanemi came in and stole your kill, slicing the demon's head off and winning the fight.
When you complimented him on a job well done, he curtly answered, "Tch, whatever. Don't be so damn careless next time; that demon nearly cut off your arm."
He was right, of course, but his tone and rude phrasing seriously pissed you off. You sent him off with a middle finger before going off to sulk back at your residence.
Akaza:
You were walking home late at night when you realized you were being watched. You drew your katana and looked for the source, but you could only find a pair of yellow eyes watching from a rooftop. It thoroughly creeped you out, but you weren't looking for a fight, so you sped up your trek.
Douma:
Your meeting was brief, but it stuck with you.
You were the student of the retired Ice pillar just yesterday, and while you were running an errand for them they were attacked by a Kizuki and killed. You came back to their body, and for the second time, you were an orphan. Now with nowhere to go, you stumbled upon a cult and a man with a plastic smile who called himself their leader. You politely refused his offer to stay, only meaning to stay the night before finding your hometown to make a new life. You left the next morning with some new friendships, food and a little more money, but his false endearing smile burned itself into your mind. You vowed to meet him again when you got your life on track.
Kokushibo:
Your family was sort of famous for being one of the first branches of the Wisteria family, the ones responsible for sheltering slayers and helping them out. Your ancestor was one of the ones helped out by the first slayers (and one of your paternal grandmothers became a Breath of Ice user -- a long-lost art now, only cultivated by one of your aunts).
You were now a slayer yourself and were on a mission when your squad was ambushed. One of them started screaming about an 'Upper Kizuki' and begged for someone to call for a pillar before they were killed. You were hidden in a knot of a tree, watching breathlessly as this mysterious person (a tall demon with long, unruly black hair in a ponytail) gracefully struck down your squad members.
Just as you were about to leave your hiding spot, you caught his eyes -- all six of them, to be exact. The sight of his unblinking, cold yellow irises made you faint from fear.
... Hours later, you were awoken by a worried Kanroji as she and Obanai looked over the area. Most of your companions were gone, probably to be devoured, only leaving you.
Muzan Kibutsuji:
You were going about your night as a shop employee in Asakusa when a handsome-looking man in a suit and fedora walked in. He seemed gravitated to something, going straight for the back, where you kept your stuffed animals.
He picked out a small stuffed rabbit and walked up to the counter. He flashed you a charming smile and handed it over.
"How cute," you commented with a small smile of your own as you rang him up. "That'll be 1,200 yen."
He pulled out a coinpurse and picked out some coins. He handed the correct amount to you and put it back in his pocket.
You nodded, handing him back the rabbit. "Thank you, sir. Have a wonderful evening."
"Thank you," he spoke for the first time, his deep voice resonating with you and making your cheeks go pink.
Even a while after he left, you stood there stunned. Secretly, you hoped he would come back again.
Yoriichi Tsugikuni:
By your 21st birthday you had completely given up on getting married; you were still trying to find a suitable match, and your parents were still losing hope in you. Your father had hoped that someone would want to marry you, but here you were: still single and depressed. What a mood.
One day, a demon attacked your village and managed to separate you from your parents. You screamed, bracing yourself for the killing blow... but suddenly, the demon was struck down by a blade, just inches away from you. You watched in awestruck horror as it began to disintegrate, and a man with long black hair in a ponytail stood before you, his hard eyes turning softer as he beheld you.
He made sure you were alright before bringing you back to your worried parents. Your father offered anything as a thank-you, but the man simply said he didn't want anything. He left after politely declining tea, leaving you gazing pensively at his back (and trying to ignore the stunned stares your parents were giving you).
"...shit, he's hot. Hope Dad doesn't try to set me up with him, boy would that be embarrassing."

Smoke Signals (Sanegiyu Oneshot)
Tumblr media
I’ve hyperfixated on this idea for like three weeks, and I’m so proud of this oneshot! I genuinely believe that this is one of the best things I’ve ever written ;)
Requests and asks are still open!
Warnings: swearing, drug usage (marijuana and alcohol), mention of depression, and poor self care maintenance
Synopsis: Sanemi and Giyu work together late at Kimetsu Academy and everyone's noticing Sanemi's gradual decline. After a particular comment made in the staff room after hours, Giyu formulates a plan to get his hotheaded coworker to finally open up
Word count: 8k~
Sanemi Shinazugawa was never one to open up about anything. He seemed to be on a personal mission to bite back at anyone who tried to approach him with some lovey dovey shit, so no one really know much about him. The entire staff of Kimetsu Academy had tried their own methods to get him to crack a little with no luck. Poor Kyojuro couldn't seem to make any progress with him after months of trying, and not even Obanai would share anything about the white haired man.
Giyu couldn't recall where his curiosity originated from, but it grew with every night he willingly stayed late at the Academy. He often took advantage of the quiet atmosphere of the nearly empty staff room on the second floor, using the time spent to grade assignments and plan his upcoming classes. Giyu doesn't sleep much anyways so he wasn't too worried about exhaustion catching up to him. However, lately when he finds himself evaluating coursework at his desk in the staff room, there would be none other than Sanemi Shinazugawa furiously grading math quizzes at the desk right next to them.
Both of them started teaching at Kimetsu Academy around the same time so they weren't necessarily unfamiliar with each other. At first the two never talked, both men opting to focus on their career than to go out of their way to be chummy with one another. But after getting roped into the weekend excursions that Tengen plans for their little group, Sanemi and Giyu started allowing the company of others in their lives. And now here they are, tackling their own responsibilities side by side in near silence.
Carrying two cups of coffee, Giyu slides back into his swivel chair at his desk and hands Sanemi the lighter coloured liquid. Sanemi sighs in relief and accepts the styrofoam cup and taking an eager sip of the steaming beverage.
"Thanks." Sanemi huffs. Giyu nods, wondering how anyone can drink coffee with three creams and five sugars. Neither of them found the stillness of the room uncomfortable, both men just simply enjoying the other's presence and the very warm coffee. It was maybe seven in the evening, the last remnants of the sun gracing the room. Sanemi seemed to allow himself a five minute break to re-energize, and Giyu couldn't stop himself from peeking over at him. He looked bone-tired, back pushing against the cushion of the chair he was sitting on and the back of Sanemi's wrist rested on his forehead. Dark circles surrounded his eyes and his scarred face looked flushed. Giyu pursed his lips at the sight.
"Something bothering you?" Giyu asked. A pause passed between them despite the small thump of Giyu setting his black coffee on his desk. Sanemi didn't even register the question at first. When he did, Sanemi whipped his head back at Giyu in visible confusion.
"Huh?"
"You look tired." Giyu commented while holding eye contact. "Are you alright?"
Sanemi's eyebrows furrowed, the corners of his lips now turned upwards in anxiousness. The coffee rippled as Sanemi set it on his desk and reached for a pen.
"It's nothing, it'll sort itself out eventually." Not even looking over at Giyu to see his reaction, Sanemi focused his eyes to a spot on his desk. The pen found itself on a typical sticky note, scribbling on the yellow square a mess of knots and tangles. Ripping off the sticky note, he threw it in the recycling bin net to his leg and started scribbling on the next one too. "All things do."
Giyu was prepared for this kind of reaction. With all the anecdotes of other trying to get closer to Sanemi, this was expected. However, it threw Giyu off guard with how severe Sanemi's discomfort was at the question. From someone else's perspective, the frantic scribbling and ripping of sticky notes makes Sanemi look enraged. But Giyu didn't see it like that. Sanemi's eyes were frantic, as if he was trying to blur Giyu from his peripheral vision. There was just something in the way his brows furrowed and his lips pursed that just screamed panic.
Giyu decided to press forward. "Are you sleeping well?"
"I'm sleeping just fine."
"I don't think you are."
Sanemi scoffed and turned to Giyu, a look of disbelief apparent on his face. "Really?"
"You look awful."
A pause broke between the two men. Sanemi was giving Giyu the hardest stare he could muster with his fist clenched. Realizing what he just said, Giyu gulped nervously as he awkwardly held his gaze, solely fixated on Sanemi's wild eyes.
"I mean that nicely?" Sanemi raised a brow at Giyu. "It didn't- that didn't come out how I intended."
Sanemi lowered his gaze at Giyu, almost glaring at him, as he simultaneously placed another quiz in front of him to mark. Finally breaking eye contact, Sanemi downed the last of his coffee and got back to work. Shame bubbled and swirled in Giyu's stomach.
"We still on for Friday?" Sanemi asked, not looking up from his material.
"Uhm- yeah sure." Giyu stuttered. "I'll bring beer, as usual." It was hardly noticeable, but Sanemi nodded in acknowledgement at Giyu's offer.
Silence passed over the two again, occasionally interrupted by Sanemi turning a page or moving onto the next quiz. Giyu sat awkwardly next to him, sipping on his black coffee that has almost gone to room temperature by now. His mind was swirling, trying to come up with something, anything, to say to Sanemi. But he just didn't have the words.
"I'm really sorry-"
"It's fine," Sanemi interrupted. "Don't lose your head, Tomioka."
Giyu was taken aback at Sanemi's abruptness. He wasn't really sure what to make of it. Despite Sanemi's reassurance, Giyu just knew that there's more to this conversation. And more than anything, he was worried. His hands started to shake and jerk as Giyu tried to think of something to say again. But this was a sensitive matter, at least to Giyu, and that he had to be careful about what he said next or else Sanemi's resentment may worsen.
"I just want you to know," Giyu began, fiddling with his twitching fingers. "That if you ever need someone to talk to, you got me."
Sanemi froze, emptily gazing at the quiz he was in the middle of marking with a pen in his right hand. His grasp on the pen fluttered from clenching and letting go, clearly trying to process Giyu's words carefully. By the time he faced Giyu, Sanemi seemed to be conflicted. The inner turmoil was very apparent in his expression, and if Giyu didn't know any better, he would even say that Sanemi looked like he was pleading with him.
"Look, I don't know what you want to get out of me but I'm not budging. Do I look intoxicated to you? Just get back to work."
Sanemi immediately turned back to his stack of math quizzes and marking ledger with a huff. Before Giyu could protest anything, Sanemi had already started furiously scribbling scores and passing paper after paper onto another pile of marked quizzes on the opposite side of his desktop. Giyu frowned and considered Sanemi's last remark, after all, he did already have plans to have dinner at his place on the upcoming Friday. If these were the terms that Sanemi set, then who was he to try and match them?
Giyu Tomioka was fair game.
The rest of the week pretty quickly, much to Giyu's growing anticipation. His plan was already set in motion, with the help of a flamboyant art teacher in the Academy's faculty of course. After consulting the best way to approach this with Kyojuro and Shinobu for the past few days, Giyu felt more confident about his visit with Sanemi on Friday.
However what most worried him was Sanemi's declining state over the week. With ever passing, Sanemi seemed more and more drained. Students started voicing their concerns with other teachers, mainly reporting to Kyojuro and Kanae to see if there's any way they can ask him to take a few days off. Sanemi apparently have gotten more stern on the curriculum, now assigning more pop quizzes and instead of teaching the material at the beginning of class and allowing the remaining time for students to work independently, instead Sanemi will demonstrate more methods and quadratic equations. Student were starting to get overwhelmed with the amount of times Sanemi would stress that what he was teaching was going to be on the test the upcoming Monday.
Unable to find a way to approach this issue professionally, Giyu just put his faith in his coworkers to hopefully alleviate the tension between Sanemi and his students. He saw Kyojuro and Gyomei approach Genya about the issue with no luck. as he also seemed resentful at the situation before him. His worry only seemed to grow with every passing day.
When Friday approached, Giyu buzzed the call button in the lobby of the apartment complex a few after classes had ended for the day. In his other hand was a plastic bag that had some supplied for how he was hoping to spend the night with Sanemi. The call button clicked an a voice spoke through the crunchy sounding speaker.
"Name and business." It ordered.
"...Uh, it's Giyu? I brought some stuff up for tonight." The speaker clicked again.
"Come on up."
The lobby door opened automatically, allowing Giyu to pass the receptionist and reach the elevator. He was already used to this route, so Giyu already knew to ignore the elevator's worrying clunk when it passed the fifth floor, that the eighth floor that the Shinazugawa's resided in usually smelled of lavender scented detergent. as well as to be weary of the tuxedo cat that had a habit of wandering into the elevator during it's escapades. Giyu crouched to pet the little guy, Joji from 912. Continuing down the hall, Giyu could feel his mouth salivating at the smell of several families cooking dinner. Sanemi usually made simple yet well balanced meals, and for a moment Giyu started to wonder what he made.
Arriving at Sanemi's flat, Giyu knocked on the door just below the steel plated numbers that read 923. The sound of shuffling and faint music could be heard from inside the apartment, but the door didn't open. Giyu's eyebrows furrowed slightly as he knocked again, but then a high pitched beep rang from the other side of the door.
"Ah shit- Just open the door! Kinda busy here-" Sanemi shouted.
The beeping stopped and was replaced with rustling metal. Giyu felt awkward about opening the door to someone else's place on his own, but then again, Sanemi seemed to be too preoccupied to open the door. Hesitating, Giyu slowly rotated the doorknob and peeked his head in. The scent of whatever Sanemi was cooking immediately wafted towards the draft from the door, making the rumbling of Giyu's stomach embarrassingly audible. His mouth filled with saliva again as shoes were hastily torn off and left on the genkan. Giyu slid on some slippers that he found near the front door, and stepped up onto the hardwood of the apartment.
In the kitchen, Sanemi was swiftly chopping some kind of vegetable with efficiency and ease, immediately dumping it in the small pot that sat on the gas stove. Moving onto the next burner, a shallow pan had two pieces of salmon softly sizzling in a sauce. Sanemi took a spoon and gently basted them in the glaze. Setting the plastic bag he held onto the kitchen island, Giyu pulled out one of the barstools that hid underneath it and sat down.
Amongst the various sounds of dinner being prepared, a record player was playing 80's rock softly through the apartment. The tune was catchy and the electric guitar solo seemed to escalate and drive the song without it baring out the drums or the base. Sanemi's place was decorated with a mature yet angsty feel that might not have worked for most people, but seemed to suit Sanemi quite well. What caught Giyu's attention the most was an electric guitar with a black angular body hung up on the wall near the living area. What was strange about it is that there was no amp to be seen, and the fretboard of the guitar had a noticeable layer of dust atop the black acrylic. Seems like it hadn't been used in a while.
A door slammed open, rocking some of the other objects hung on the wall a little. Giyu jumped in his seat in surprise, as he turned his head to find the source of the noise. Genya was bent over to pick over a rugged backpack that was unceremoniously shoven next to a side table in the living room, and stomped back to his room to fill it with some folded clothes that sat on the edge of his bed.
"Good evening, Genya."
Genya only grunted in response, too busy packing his backpack to properly greet Giyu. The air was thick with tension, causing Giyu to squirm in the barstool as Sanemi watched Genya sternly. This kind of atmosphere was unusual for the Shinazugawa brothers, serving the impression that something was clearly amiss. Genya was normally apprehensively friendly with Giyu, usually because of how awkward he was around new people. And sure they were both hotheaded, but Sanemi normally found a way to work around that for the both of them for Genya's sake.
"I'm going out." Genya slung his bag over his shoulder and walked to the front door swiftly to but on some shoes. Sanemi gawked at him.
"I told you that you're not going anywhere until you take your studies seriously." Sanemi argued.
"It's a study group." Genya hopped on one foot as he struggled to put his combat boots on. "Tanjiro arranged it."
"Until I see your quiz on Monday, you're staying here until you get your shit sorted."
"Seriously? If anyone needs to get a hold of themselves, it's you." Genya groaned, grabbing a coat and opening the door. "I'll be back in the morning."
The front door slammed shut and shook the walls once again. Giyu's jaw was dropped at the interaction he just witnessed before him, chest still tightened in discomfort. Sanemi's back was still turned from Giyu but it was obvious he was pissed. He had stopped stirring for a few moments, his hand making claws as he shook them in anger. When he stopped, Sanemi turned towards Giyu and gestured at the door as if that explained anything.
"Do you see what I have to deal with? He's just so-" Sanemi waved his hand in the air. "You know? Ughhhh!"
Giyu nodded frantically, trying to show his best that he understood. He didn't have the heart to tell him that he, in fact, had no idea what just happened between Sanemi and Genya. Utterly lost at this point, Giyu felt a bit helpless. He wanted to reach out to Sanemi, but it was too soon to execute the plan right now. Standing up wordlessly from the barstool, Giyu started to set the table neatly for the two of them.
When the table was set, Giyu checked in on Sanemi. He was still hovering over the stovetop, but now he was fiercely muttering under his breath. Giyu stood next to him, leaning over the granite countertop and watching Sanemi cook dinner. Sanemi didn't even change out of his work clothes, still wearing a white collared shirt and black slacks. His blazer was nowhere to be seen, but his shirt was unbuttoned to his stomach like when he joins in on Tengen's plans on the weekends.
"Rough week?" Giyu asked.
Sanemi snorted. "You have no idea."
Giyu patted Sanemi's shoulder lightly in reassurance. He could almost see the struggle on Sanemi's own worries and stresses were his own. The cotton felt rough and stiff under his hand that lingered a little longer on Sanemi than he originally intended. Silence overtook them again, standing side by side by the stove.
Dinner went a bit more smoothly once both men started digging in. Sanemi had cooked a glazed salmon, rice, a light salad and a small pot of stew on the side. The cold beers that Giyu had brought from the convenience store paired well with the meal, following the recommendation from the green haired teen who worked there. The two chatted between bites, mainly about work related topics and their students. Giyu was tempted to ask about Genya or Sanemi's sleep schedule, but he he held off knowing that he still had a plan to approach this, sitting at his feet in the plastic bag.
"What about you?" Sanemi inquired, taking another sip of his beer. "Are you still eating well?"
Giyu cringed internally, trying not to show it.
"Tanjiro told me that he only sees you buy bread at his bakery. Dude, you're a fitness teacher. You know you need to get some nutrition to wrangle all those damn kids."
Giyu glanced down at his feet, fiddling with his fingers in his lap. "It's not all bad, I'm supporting a local business."
"Bullshit!" Sanemi interjected with an appalled smirk on his face. "If you don't start taking better care of yourself, I'm going to start making lunches for you if it means you eat properly."
"You don't have to, Sanemi you have enough on your plate already."
"People are worried Giyu- hell, I am too! If you just let me-"
"I'm worried about you too."
Giyu stared at Sanemi in concern, his fidgeting coming to a halt as he focused on the hotheaded man in front of him. Sanemi once again put on the spot, seemed to be at a loss for excuses. Defeated, he just slumped in his chair and stared at the empty plate as Giyu downed the rest of his beer. He sat up and placed his folded hands in front of him on the table, trying to find Sanemi's gaze. Sanemi refused to look at him.
"I thought about what you said a few days ago, Sanemi."
Giyu leaned over to the side and reached into the plastic bag next to him on the floor. Sanemi's eyes followed his movements and watched him pull a small tin container out of the bag and placed it on the table, right in the middle. Giyu carefully glanced at Sanemi, confusion apparent on his face as he stared at the box. Sanemi looked up at Giyu again.
"I have a proposition for you." Giyu leaned back in his seat and crossed his arms. Sanemi sat up straight and finished the rest of his beer, gesturing for him to continue.
"Everyone knows that you're not really one to talk about your feelings, which is fair! You don't have to open up to us if you don't feel comfortable. But you're clearly struggling, Sanemi. And I want to help."
Sanemi's eyes furrowed at Giyu's confession, jaw clenched as he nodded slightly. "Actually, I got this idea when you asked me if you look intoxicated when I started to question your sleep." Giyu finished.
Sanemi was taken aback, at first not really understanding what Giyu was implying by that statement. Giyu leaned back to the side, the plastic bag rustling again. But then it hit Sanemi.
There was no fucking way.
Sanemi reached for the tin box on his dining table and grabbed it swiftly. The metal was cool to the touch and the container was decorated with two large stickers that covered the top and bottom of it. Flipping open the creaky lid, inside the metal box were four joints. Looking back at Giyu, there were now two stacks of index cards atop the dining table in front of him.
"If you don't want to do this, that's fine." Giyu reassured. "I won't be mad or anything. but since it was something you mentioned, I thought that if we-"
"Sure." Sanemi agreed.
Giyu tilted his head. "What?"
"I'm down." Sanemi reiterated, closing the lid of the box with a smile on his face. "Whatever you have planned here, I say we do it."
Giyu couldn't believe it. He had a whole speech prepared on how everyone knew Sanemi was having problems, and how they all cared about him. He wanted to tell Sanemi how many people were willing to do anything to pitch in to cheer him up, to reignite and rejuvenate the hardass attitude and his motivation that he lost in the last week. Giyu was genuinely shocked that he didn't need to say any of that, Sanemi had just accepted that he was worried. And that he was willing to take a chance on him, because that was enough. Barely able to hold it back at this realization, Giyu beamed at Sanemi.
It didn't take long for the two men to clean up the leftover clutter from dinner, Sanemi quickly washed dishes and left them on the drying rack as Giyu wiped down the table, dried the dishes on the rack and put them away. This had become so routine to them both that Giyu already knew where everything was meant to be placed. The two worked together silently, still processing the previous discussion. Giyu felt hopeful. Once they were done, Sanemi led Giyu to the balcony through the sliding door by the dining table. The lock clicked as Sanemi opened it smoothly and stepped through and toward the evening sky. The balcony was made of concrete with a clothesline connecting from Sanemi's building to the one across the street from them. Some plants in terracotta pots decorated the corners of the balcony. All of them held fresh herbs except for one large pot, with scorch marks along the inner walls and a pile of ash sitting at the bottom. The small balcony also held a small loveseat sofa with a tiny table sat in front of it. The balcony was crowded, but lived in and welcoming.
Giyu took a seat on the sofa, which was made of a firm plastic except for the cushions. Sanemi took a seat beside him and crossed his ankle over his knee. They were shoulder to shoulder with barely an inch of space between them. Giyu handled Sanemi the blue stack of index card while he held onto the yellow stack. Sanemi took the tin out of his pocket and examined the stickers carefully.
"Why did you bring four? I don't even think we can get to two, dumbass." Sanemi chuckled.
"I got them from Tengen, actually."
"Of course." Sanemi took out a joint and gave it to Giyu to hold for the time being. "Guessing from the club named on the box, I'm assuming that's his too."
Giyu nodded, agreeding that he wouldn't be one to hold onto stickers that featured the logos of the local clubs and bars around the area, especially with how high end the names were.
"He insisted I hold onto some extra, so I thought I might as well for next time."
Sanemi placed the tin box on the table in front of them. "Next time?"
"Well, yeah." Giyu mumbled. "I wasn't sure if you wanted to finish all these cards tonight, in case you wanted a break or feel the need to stop." His hands twitched again, prompting Giyu to look down and fiddle with them. "I want this to be a good experience, not one where you feel pressured."
Sanemi nodded again, his lips slightly upturned at Giyu's thoughtfulness. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a zippo lighter with a wind spinner engraved on the side.
"Do you smoke?" Sanemi asked, flipping the cap of the lighter easily.
Giyu shrugged, pulling his knees to his chest. "Once or twice."
Sanemi lit the joint and Giyu watched the end of it flutter with heat before glowing in the dark lightly. Bringing it to his lips, Sanemi took a long drag of the joint before handing it to Giyu. A bit out of his territory, Giyu took a small take of the joint so he wouldn't be forced to cough a little. Sanemi finally let out a sigh after holding in the smoke, immediately laughing under his breath.
"Fuckkkk, I haven't done this in years." Sanemi looked pleased, taking back the joint and flipping through the blue index cards sat on his thigh. "How do you want to go about this?"
"You ask a question from a yellow card, I answer first and then you answer. Then I ask a question from the blue cards, you answer and then I do too."
"What if we don't want to answer that question?"
"You don't have to." Giyu shrugged. I won't insist it."
Sanemi took another drag of the joint, pulled out a card, and exhaled deeply. "How would you introduce yourself if you two were strangers?"
"Hi, I'm Giyu Tomioka." He began. "I'm the Phys-Ed teacher of Kimetsu Academy."
Sanemi grimaced, finding it awkward to play along with him. "Sanemi Shinazugawa. Math teacher of Kimetsu Academy."
"I guess we're not stranger anymore." Giyu joked.
Sanemi handed back the joint, bouncing one of his legs as he waited for Giyu's turn. As he took a hit of the marijuana, Sanemi started to feel anxious about the questions they had in their hands. Sure Giyu was more quiet and careful with his words, but Sanemi found it intimidating how natural it seems to Giyu. Sanemi started to second guess agreeing to this game of his.
"What's your favourite colour, Sanemi?"
"Who came up with these questions?" Sanemi snorted. "Uh, green. A light green."
Giyu returned the joint. "Blue."
Sanemi held the roll between his lips as he pulled out another card. He took another drag and red out the question. "What are you currently feeling?"
"Scared. Excited, but scared." He started drawing circles on his knees as he relaxed.
"You're scared?" Sanemi repeated in disbelief. "This seems so easy for you."
Giyu shook his head. "It's not really, I don't really talk to anyone like this. But I'm glad that we are, talking like this." Giyu tucked his hair behind his ears. "I'm just focused on hearing you out."
Sanemi leaned back a bit. "I'm fucking terrified, you have no idea. It's one thing being afraid to hear what someone might tell you, but it's another thing willing yourself to say it."
The environment seemed eerily tense, both men watching the dark sky roll with clouds as the weed fogged the air a little. The pungent smell seemed to thicken with the anticipation for the next question. Giyu took another drag of the joint, but inhaled a little bit too much than he could handle. Sputtering into a couch, Sanemi grinned wildly and patted Giyu excitedly on the back.
"There we go!" Sanemi cheered. "Atta boy, you alright?"
Giyu blushed in embarrassment. "Yeah. Next question, ummm..." He flipped to the next card. "When was the last time you cried by yourself? In front of someone else?"
Sanemi's hesitance didn't go unnoticed by Giyu. "You don't have to if you don't want-"
"No no, I got this." Sanemi reassured, probably more to himself rather than Giyu. "The last time I cried by myself was when I got shanked last May after a rough day." He pulled down the pit of his sleeve to show the small scar on his shoulder along the myriad of the other several scars. "It wasn't that painful, it just was my last straw that day."
"And in front of someone?" Giyu asked as he leaned closer to Sanemi's shoulder to take a closer look.
"About a year ago. Bad breakup, and Obanai happened to find me." Sanemi pulled the shirt back up, but kept it unbuttoned as usual. He stuck his hand out and Giyu passed the joint back to him.
"Last time I cried in front of someone was when someone close to me had died." The whisper was barely audible, but Sanemi heard it clear enough for a pang of guilt to strike him in the chest. Just how much did they not know about each other?
"And by myself, last night."
Sanemi turned to Giyu in concern. "Why were you crying?"
"I don't know." Giyu gestured vaguely around, a bit more sluggish than usual. "I just do sometimes."
Sanemi placed the joint down on an ashtray on the table, but Giyu immediately reached for it and took another drag. He looked more comfortable in his hits now.
"Next question." Sanemi pulled out a card. "What's your favourite quality about yourself?"
Giyu stared at the balcony above them, trying to find an answer. "Ugh I don't know- my eyes? I don't really like much about myself."
"You do have really pretty eyes." Sanemi agreed. "I would say my muscles." Sanemi tilted his head towards Giyu with a stupidly sly smirk on his face. "I show them off for a reason, you know?"
"I don't blame you." Giyu turned in his seat so his shoulder pressed into the back of the sofa more so his body was turned to Sanemi, now able to see him more clearly. His knees touched Sanemi's shoulder from the way that they were pressed into his chest. "Any specific area that you're particularly proud of?"
Sanemi's grin widened. "My six pack. Do you have any idea how badly core workouts burn after-"
"It's an eight pack." Giyu corrected.
The two men froze in place, staring at each other in disbelief. Sanemi's jaw was dropped at what Giyu just said, he leaned in closer to reach his reaction a bit better. Giyu was no better himself, the apples of his cheeks were glowing bright red in the dim lighting. Sanemi's shock turned into a smile and a small chuckle which turned to a fit a giggles until he was finally roaring with laughter. Giyu had part of his face covered with his hand to show that he too was laughing under his breath. The two laughed until their sides hurt and calmed down from the sudden outburst. Once they were able to speak without giggling, Giyu pulled out another card.
"If a crystal ball could tell you any truth about yourself, your life, or the world, what would you want to know?"
"If I'm raising Genya right." Sanemi heaved. "He's a hot headed troublemaker like me, but he has good friends. He's a good kid at heart." Sanemi sighed worryingly and shifted on the couch until him and Giyu were finally shoulder to shoulder. "I'm just scared that the world is too harsh to give that kid a chance."
Giyu took another hit of the joint. "I think you're doing a great job, you two are just too similar. It's why you don't see eye to eye."
"No it's more than that, I fucked up this week. I shouldn't have taken my anger out on him and now he probably hates me." Sanemi took a deep breath of the evening air around him. "What about you?"
"I would want to know... what waits for us on the other side?" Giyu took another drag of the roll in his fingertips. "Life is hard, Sanemi, especially when you can't trust anyone to be there for you when things get ugly. Living like that, it brings loneliness..."
Sanemi wrapped his arms around Giyu, bringing him closer in an effort to comfort him. "It gets better, Giyu. You just need to stick around long enough to see it."
Giyu didn't want to say it, not right now, but he really appreciated Sanemi's affirmations. He was overwhelmed with many emotions, as it had been more than a decade since he was able to talk to another person so openly. He just hoped that Sanemi didn't see how he brought the edge of his sleeve to his eyes, wiping away a few tears of gratitude.
"You okay?"
"Yeah." Giyu sniffed. "Next question?"
Sanemi pulled out a card. "What's something you and your partner appear to have in common?" He stated quizzically at the index card. "Are either of us even in a relationship?"
"No it's-" Giyu had to pause in order to gather his thoughts, starting to feel them swirl around in the air with the smoke. I think it means us, we're partners in this game."
Nodding in agreement, Sanemi looked at Giyu and patiently awaited his answer.
"I think we both expect more from the future than we're ever gonna get. Given our track record so far I mean."
There was a light pause between the two men, letting Giyu stew in his emotions until he felt the need to lighten up a bit. "No offense, Sanemi."
"None taken." He shrugged. "Can I pass this one? My answer is some fucking sappy shit, you probably don't want to hear that."
"I want to hear it." Giyu pressed. "If you want to pass you can, but I want to hear it."
Sanemi rolled his eyes in anxiety, he grabbed Giyu's wrist lightly and brought his hand to his face, taking a hit of the joint deeply. He felt the marijuana immediately calm his nerves as he exhaled. He met Giyu's ocean blue eyes again, now a bit more bloodshot than he expected. Gently, het let go of Giyu's wrist and sat up straight. For a moment Sanemi considered finishing off the joint for the both of them.
"I think..." Sanemi started, rubbing his knees a little to ease his nerves. "I think we're both more content solving someone else's problem than to deal with our issues ourselves."
Giyu watched Sanemi's face intently as he said this. The white haired man really tried to hide it, but Giyu managed to catch a view of a tear sliding down his cheek slowly. Giyu moved his feet down from the sofa, and reached forward. He pulled Sanemi in for a hug by his shoulder, though he wasn't sure how welcome it was because Giyu was really stiff. Sanemi accepted the gesture, instinctively holding onto him tightly with shaky arms.
"Thank you." Giyu whispered lightly, almost inaudible over the traffic below them. Sanemi only hummed in response. The embrace was incredibly awkward for Giyu, unsure if he was doing this properly. He can't remember the last time he had someone in his arms that wasn't a fling. Giyu felt out of practice.
Sanemi pulled away after a few still minutes, much to Giyu's disappointment. Pulling out another card exasperatedly, Sanemi read the neatly printed text aloud. "What's something that you've been meaning to do for a while, and why haven't you done it?"
Pausing thoughtfully, Giyu took a few minutes to think of an appropriate answer. He had one, but he wasn't sure if it
was something he would want to breathe out into the world. Sanemi's reason for being afraid to play this game started to make sense now that he found himself in the same position. Sanemi gave Giyu a reassuring smile, and placed his hand on his shoulder. Giyu took his hand into his own and held them gently in his lap.
"To get to know you." Giyu confessed. "I couldn't find a good way to approach it."
"Really?" Sanemi sighed, a joking grin stretched across his lips. "I think you did a great job with this though."
"You think so?"
"Do you really think I would've done this with anyone, dumbass?"
Giyu beamed again, satisfaction present in his eyes. Sanemi squeezed his hand, and Giyu shifted again so that his legs draped Sanemi's arm of the couch. The joint was long forgotten, the butt of it tossed onto an ashtray. Sanemi didn't object to either.
"I've been meaning to go through my records." He sighed, mentally adding that to his endless list of things to do. He wasn't sure if that list ever dwindled in the first place. "I feel like some of them don't fit me anymore."
Giyu tilted his head in confusion. "I thought you would've said have Genya teach you the guitar. I saw it on the wall."
"Hah! No, that old thing is mine." Sanemi laughed hearily at the assumption Giyu made. "I used to be in a band back in teacher's collage, but it didn't work out. Now it just collects dust."
"I would like to hear you play sometime."
"I doubt it, I'm rusty as hell." Sanemi shook his head, memories flooding back of how much he loved the sleek black guitar when he was younger. "Honestly, I'm not even sure if I remember how."
Giyu shrugged. "You'd figure it out, you always do."
Leaning forward, Giyu rested his head on Sanemi's shoulder as gently as he could. The added support allowed him to regain himself as a wave of dizziness came over him. Sanemi rested his cheek atop hi head, relaxing into his touch. Sanemi continued to watch the night sky as an airplane soared above them, while Giyu still stared at his lap. Sanemi's hands were the same size as his, but scarred and rough. He traced over the white lines.
"Sanemi?"
"Hmm?"
"Are you okay?"
Giyu interlocked his hands into Sanemi's. a silent plead of encouragement that he was listening. Sanemi rubbed his thumbs on the back of Giyu's palms.
"No." He breathed, the scent of Giyu's conditioner filling his lungs. "I haven't been sleeping, you were right on that."
"Do you get nightmares?" Giyu mumbled groggily.
"No it's not that." Sanemi shook his head gently, still holding onto Giyu's hands tightly. "I've just been thinking a lot lately. I've been trying to drown it out by working more, but I don't think that's fair to my students." His palms started to sweat, but Giyu didn't pull away. "And then Genya failed one of my quizzes, so we've been fighting all week."
The glare of the city lights blinded Sanemi from watching the peaceful liveliness of the evening that surrounded him and his balcony. He thought about how everyone lived their own little lives apart from his, and he wondered how much of it he impacted. How much stress he might've caused to everyone around him.
"I just thought," Sanemi whimpered defeatedly. "That if I buried myself in work, that I wouldn't have time to think. or feel, and I would just claw my way through each day. I would just get through it anyways." Tears clouded his vision, the glares of light growing brighter. "Look where it fucking got me."
Giyu was nearly crying alongside him, sniffling quietly and figuring with both of their hands. Sanemi's head brought a good weight to his, comfortable with how much he was relying on him in the moment.
"The anger is just a front, you know. There's no denial in the anger and the fighting, but I try to hold it onto it at work. For my own sake." Sanemi chuckled dryly at himself. "You know, I really fucking hated you."
Giyu's bottom lip quivered. "Seriously?"
"Hated your fucking guts." Sanemi affirmed, taking his hands from Giyu and resting his arms down Giyu's back. "You're actually content with yourself. Or at least you're content enough to actually allow yourself to think about your life." Giyu's back was warm, but he still felt him shiver. "I'm still jealous that you don't feel the need to drown everything out every damn second of your day. You can think, and you can say what you're thinking."
"You're wrong." Giyu argued. "I don't talk about it. I constantly feel like I'm drowning, but I don't want to say anything because I don't want more people drowning with me. Have you seen me at work? I don't even talk much, not even when we're at the club."
Sanemi recoiled back, lifting his cheek off his head and looking Giyu in the eyes. "Since when have you- why?"
"Huh?" Giyu was trying to concentrate with how fuzzy he was feeling, trying to focus on Sanemi's wild eyes.
"Why don't you talk more? You're talking plenty with me right now."
"Because it's you." Giyu cursed under his breath, his gaze exploring every swirl of Sanemi's plum coloured irises. "Because I want to talk to you more."
Sanemi could barely grasp Giyu's expression, his mind hazed with weed and the serenity of the moment. His spine tingled in the cold evening air as he tried his best to stay present and not drift off into another swarm of thoughts.
"You said that you couldn't do this with anyone." Giyu huffed as if he'd been holding in his breath for the past minute. His gaze still fixed on Sanemi. "Why me?"
Sanemi pressed his forehead to Giyu's, grounding himself to create a response. But he had none, his mind was blanking out on him. The effects of the marijuana bubbled in his throat and he couldn't stop himself from spouting some shit he'd probably regret when he's sober. And yet he found himself with the same answer as Giyu.
"Because it's you." Sanemi whispered as if he had just reached that conclusion just now. "I wouldn't want anyone else. Just you."
Finally looking into Giyu's eyes, Sanemi saw a world of life that he hadn't seen in Giyu for ages, maybe ever. The blue of his irises rose and crashed like the waved of an ocean, but it wasn't chaotic. It was alive, and raw, and so full of emotion that he swore that he could feel seasick just looking at it. Giyu's pupils were dilated so much that Sanemi could see the reflection of an airplane he'd spotted earlier in the night, making him wonder why he hadn't felt the need to escape where he was. For all he cared the rest of the world around him didn't faze him. All that mattered right now was himself, Giyu, and his little balcony.
"Damn, your eyes are pretty."
"What-"
Sanemi interrupted him by pressing his lips to Giyu's, hasty but gentle. He was bracing himself for Giyu to take him by the shoulders an push him away in disgust. But it never came. Instead, Giyu lightly took a hold of Sanemi's waist and tilted his head. Sanemi's ribs tingled at Giyu's touch as the seasickness returned to the pit of his stomach. Fingers threading through his long hair, Sanemi took a hold of Giyu's roots and pulled him impossibly closer. Giyu tried to regain control by slowing down, kissing him back so lazily that it forced Sanemi to follow his lead. Warmth flooded through their veins, a tender but fleeting moment that they both enjoyed with no remorse or regret. Giyu pulled away for air and pressed his forehead to Sanemi. Both tried to catch their breath as the world around them continued to move and sway with the beat of their hearts loud in their ears.
"I'm tired." Sanemi's stated, still holding onto the back of Giyu's shirt.
A pleased grin stretched across Giyu's face. "Let's get you to bed."
Letting the index cards fall and scatter across the concrete floor of the balcony, Giyu helped Sanemi stand up, leading him by one arm on his shoulder and his other hand on the sliding door and leading him inside. The walk to Sanemi's bedroom was short, but Giyu had to take a second to remember the way you need to jostle the door in order to open it. Inside was Sanemi's bed, a flatscreen TV, a nightstand that stored several books on quantum physics and a small closet in the corner of the room. Giyu laid Sanemi down on the left side of the bed and returned from the kitchen to bring him a glass of water. Sanemi appeared to be very mellow, and had changed into sweatpants and left his chest bare in the warm apartment. Obviously fighting off sleep.
This wasn't the first time that Giyu stayed overnight at the Shinazugawa's, and this wouldn't be the last either. But it's happened often enough that Giyu knew that Sanemi kept the extra blankets in a spare cabinet in the living room. Giyu made sure that Sanemi was comfortable before turning to retreat to the couch to also catch up on some sleep. A rough hand on his wrist prevented him from leaving.
"Stay." Sanemi exhaustedly begged Giyu, a pleading look in his tired eyes. "Please stay."
Giyu contemplated for a moment if he wanted to respect Sanemi's personal space, as he's never been this close to him before. His heart pounding even harder in his eardrums was drowning out the voice of reason that still persisted despite his intoxicated state. And on any other occasion, he would've listened to it. But after Sanemi lifted the duvet for the right side of his bed, inviting him without a word uttered, Giyu gave in. He wandered to the opposite side of the room and crawled in the shockingly cold bed. Sanemi was laid on his back, watching Giyu settle onto his stomach and draped an arm over Sanemi's waist. His head was resting on Sanemi's shoulder and their legs intertwined together at the foot of the bed.
Giyu pressed a kiss to Sanemi's cheekbone and bid him a restful sleep. Settling back into Sanemi's neck, Giyu rested his head on Sanemi's shoulder and closed his eyes.
Sanemi's eyes were fixated on the flat ceiling above them as he relished in the company of the man laying beside him. He could blame all this on the weed in the morning. He could chalk up the sappy conversations, the tears shed between the two of them, and the gentle kiss on the marijuana they shared on the balcony. The smell of which might get him in trouble later. But he didn't want to deny it after tonight. Not when it was Giyu. Sanemi's eyes drooped in the quiet apartment, the night still bustling outside but he paid no mind to it. And though he would never say it out loud, Sanemi thanked Giyu. For the first time in over a week, Sanemi had drifted off to a dreamless sleep in the dead of the night.

yoo-
can you write a oneshot abt giyuu with an s/o who has high anxiety/ gets anxiety or panic attacks around big crowds? im one of those ppl,and it would be great to see a drabble like this
note ━ yooo i'm also a part of the high anxiety fam, sorry it took so long to get back on this! college lowkey is kinda whooping my ass rn but i'm on break now!! so i'm going to try to start posting and writing more on this account.
Tumblr media
Giyuu with a High Anxiety S/O | Headcanons
First of all, I'd like to make it known that I don't see Giyuu as having anxiety of any sort
That being said, he also isn't a big fan of crowds, but he knows how to manage them better, so he takes the lead through crowds if it's ever necessary
Typically if he has the choice, and his S/O is with him, he'd make the decision to avoid any big cities, to stay away from the clusters of people
But sometimes that's not an option, so he and his S/O would definitely come up with a system ahead of time that would help alleviate some of the anxiety beforehand, so neither of you are taken by surprise when it happens
First and foremost, if it helps his S/O at all, he'll give them his haori to wear. Sometimes it helps to have something or wear something that belongs to a loved one when dealing with anxiety, so if it helps he'll give it over without fuss
Some of ya'll won't believe me, but if his S/O asked him if they could hold hands, he'd do it in an INSTANT. Giyuu doesn't exactly like PDA and he's not the most tactful when it comes to affection in general, but you can't tell me he wouldn't be grippin' the fuck out of his S/O's hand if it meant it would help calm them
He keeps them close for as long as they're in the city. He has enough anxiety as it is around losing people, but the thought of a panic attack happening while he's not there would make him even more protective
Eating happens as soon as they're away from the worst of the crowding. I know that eating is super hard sometimes if you're having really bad anxiety, but trust me when I say it helps.
So even if it's just a little bit, it'd make Giyuu feel better, and it'll make yourself feel better in the process
And if none of that works? If you're not in a hurry, Giyuu's patient enough to wait out the crowds until the early hours of the morning. If it's a mission, and he can't spare that much time, he'll still try to take backroads and alleyways around the worst of the clamour in order to keep his S/O calm and collected for the most part
Giyuu isn't perfect when it comes to handling mental illness (he likely doesn't even know he has one) but his S/O matters more than anything to him, so he's more than willing to put in the work for them, to make sure they're comfortable

hello!! if you do write for kny, can you do a reader (gender-neutral) that eats equally as messy as giyuu? and make it where they’re both eating out with the other hashiras (reader is a normal person or a hashira, your pick) im sorry if you cant really understand my request since its my first time doing this
A/N: Sure love! I apologize for the long wait and delay. I haven’t been able to take a minute to sit and write (but let’s blame it on my terrible time management skills). I didn’t have a clear idea for a one-shot so it kind of became like a headcannon/drabble. Not my best piece of work for sure. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy this piece of work!
Warnings: Shitty writing, Bad grammar/vocab, Author is tryna learn how to write again.
~~~
You didn’t really know why you agreed to this. Mitsuri, the Love Hashira, had invited all the hashiras for a nice lunch outing since according to her “its better for us to get to know each other.” You had already flat out refuse the offer, finding it silly and a waste of time. But, after receiving a murderous glare from Obanai, you decided to rescind your refusal and accept the invitation.
So here you were, sitting between Kyojuro and Giyuu at the long, wooden table.  The owner of the restaurant had graciously closed the restaurant in order to only serve the Hashiras. The other hashiras were chatting amongst themselves, Rengoku and Tengen joking around, Sanemi and Obanai were talking about their next mission, Gyomei and Muichiro just talking about their upbringings and Mitsuri and Shinobu were discussing about the antidote that was in process. Everyone except you and Giyuu were talking. You remained seated until the servers began to bring in the plates of food everyone ordered.
Once the initial greeting had been said, everyone started to dig into their foods. There were many plates of delicious, elaborate foods prepared for everyone tonight but you seem to have this uneasiness plaguing within you. You were dreading this slightly as you were actually a messy eater. Despite being of age, you still had problems eating cleanly and you tried – you really did. But, sometimes to food just ended up on your face for no reason. You began to eat cautiously to avoid the embarrassment but soon after, you began to dig in as per usual.
~~~ “Tomioka san, you are such a messy eater!” Shinobu teased as she pointed to the smudge of food on his cheek.
Giyuu only blinked and continued to dig in – earning a giggle from Shinobu and some grunts of disapproval from Sanemi and Obanai.
“This is why no on likes you Tomioka san.”
“You’re a goddamn Hashira Tomioka, eat properly.”
Just as the commotion began to die down, Muichiro, the Mist Hashira pointed out to you that your face too had some smudges and crumbs. “L/N san, you have some food on your face as well.” Shinobu and Rengoku only laughed as the other hashiras chuckled along while others grunt. You were quite embarrassed, looking around for a cloth to wipe your face with. “L/N san looks adorable!!” “Not very flamboyant of you two.”
“Tomioka san I think we found you a friend!”
The Hashiras teasing were relentless, making your face heat up more and more at each comment. Just as you felt like crawling in a hole and hiding forever, Giyuu had handed you a napkin. You looked at him but all he did was stare back while continuing to eat his food. You graciously accepted the napkin and wiped your face with it. Who knew that a simple gesture from the quiet Hashira was enough to comfort you from all the teasing?
“Never lose that childlike attribute of yours.” Gyomei hummed.
“As long as you’re enjoying yourselves there’s no need to worry. We’re just teasing.” Rengoku reassured, giving a not so light pat on your back before continuing to dig in.
You sat there and looked at the group you had surround yourself with. The bickering, the laughter, the teasing – this might be something you’ll definitely get used to.

If you’re accepting requests from the dirty headcanon post may I ask for B, P, and S for my man Giyuu 👀 thank you!
(I’m enjoying your recent long fic too by the way! it’s such an interesting concept)
I'm so glad you are enjoying Haven Hill, it's a hard thing to write but I promise it will be finished eventually.
But NSFW Asks, absolutely
B - Bondage (do they like it? do they not? do they prefer to be the one being tied or the one doing the tying?)
I think Giyu is into very light bondage, he is touch-starved and he enjoys being touched no doubt, but he loves feeling as well. Once you are established in a solid relationship he always has a hand on you. On your waist, holding your hand, caressing your face, always touching. So when you bring up the idea of tying him up he's hesitant, but you promised to be nice and take care of him.
"See baby, it's not that bad, huh?" You were relentless in teasing, having touched everywhere except where he needed you the most. His chest had gotten a beautiful constellation of love bites, a colorful array of markings as you trailed down to his hips, teeth grazing the sensitive skin of his hip bones, eliciting a higher whine from the man under you. The headboard creaked as Giyu struggled against the knots holding his hands about his bed. "Giyu baby, if you break the restraints you're not getting anything else from me tonight" you cooed, sucking harshly on the skin above his pelvis making him groan, head tossing back into the pillows.
"Please"
P - Photography (are cameras allowed in the bedroom? do they send nudes? do they ask for nudes? would they ever record themselves having sex / being caught up in a sexual act?)
Being a hashira requires a lot of time away from home, which is incredibly lonely. You can go days, weeks, sometimes even months without feeling your lover. You aren't the only one feeling effects of long distance as another long-term mission had taken your husband across the country. Your phone chimed endlessly next to you as you worked on grading the midterms, trying to ignore the constant noise, but you couldn't ignore it, it was just too much. All your notifications were from Giyu there were texts, snap chats, and even a video call request you had missed. Opening the messages first you were surprised by the frantic texting.
Baby
Baby please answer
*missed call from Giyu Baby<3*
I need you
Babe please
Check snap babe
immediately switching through your apps you immediately were welcomed with videos sent over to you. You were met with a mouthwatering sight, your attention automatically switched away from the work in front of you. Giyu sat on his knees, knelt on a towel you assumed in the bathroom from the white tile he was on. He was groaning as his fist worked feverously over his stiff cock. The wet slapping of his fist mixed with his groans and pleas for more had you shuffling in your chair, thighs rubbing together to try and stifle the arousal. Maybe you could take a small break and send some replies.
S - Sleepy sex (do they give oral to wake their partner up? do they like receiving oral to wake up? do they like fucking their partner awake? being fucked awake? how about being fucked to sleep at night? do they have lazy morning sex?)
I know Giyu is a pouty baby in the morning, he hates being necessarily woken up so I don't think he would consent to being woken up in such a manor. But if he wakes up absolutely whines until you let him fuck you.
"Baby please, i need you" He whined into your neck, pulling you impossibly closer to his body. Your back was to his chest, steady breaths coming from you as you woke up, groaning at his assistance. "You are always so beautiful in the morning, let me take care of you okay?" you hummed as his hands trailed along your thighs, inching higher with each word that spilled from his mouth.

Could I request Sanemi, Himejima, and Giyuu's reactions to their s/o going undercover as an oiran per Tengen's request to watch over the main trio?
Sanemi/Himejima/Giyuu + s/o trying to be recruited by Tengen for the Red Light Mission
“Have you lost your fucking mind?!”
“You really need to calm down Sanemi.” Tengen told his fellow Hashira. “If you keep coming at me with this energy, we’re gonna have some words.” The implication being ‘with swords’.
“I’m not allowing s/o to go on a mission like this.” Tengen arched his brow at the word ‘allow’, and Sanemi growled. “You know what I mean! Don’t you have 3 of your own women to do this?”
“My wives,” Tengen corrected, “were already assisting with the mission when we lost contact. That’s why I need new girls to sneak in and scout the place.”
“So you lost your women, and now you want me to send mine into this bottomless pit as well.” Sanemi hissed between his teeth. “Will one of you say something!?”
“It’s not my place to say.” Himejima commented in his usual stoic fashion. Giyuu his typical silence. “S/O is their own person and can make their own decisions. If they want to volunteer for Tengen-san’s mission, I will not stand in their way.”
“So you’re comfortable with them dressing up like a whore and being ogled by men?!”
“It’s not my place to make that decision for them. And, whatever they look like, I know their heart & intentions for this mission is pure.”
Sanemi growled again. He should have known better than to ask the advice of someone who fashioned themselves after a priest. “What about you?!”
Giyuu had remained quite this whole time, not wanting to get involved. But being asked directly by one of his peers, he couldn’t keep quiet. “….I…would be uncomfortable….”
“See! He agrees he doesn’t want them to do it!!”
“I didn’t say that. I just said it would make me uncomfortable. The mission is more important than my feelings.”
“Oh come off it!!”
The conversation just devolved into yelling at this point. Mostly from Sanemi, but Giyuu and Himejima got in a few raised words as well, about loyalty, duty, chastity, honor.
Tegen sighed and turned around to leave them to bicker. “I’m just gonna go over to the Butterfly Estate…..”

Im sad so I take it out on all of you<3
So, I was thinking the pillars (preferably giyu, obanai or Sanemi) discover their S/O is cheating on them, they admit it then break up. Then we basically get to know what they do/feel after said break up. Like, would they deem it harder to kill demons with their mind preoccupied or?-
— to the one who…

Love is beautiful, isn’t it? How it slowly develops. The way it’s seeds find homes under your skin and bloom into something beautiful. It’s funny, really, how a feeling can so closely resemble a taste. He’d describe it as the taste of fine black tea gently brewed in warm milk and honey. Oh, how his pretty eyes now soften when he hears of love. A feeling he never quite noticed. That was until he met you, and it was then, and only then, that he felt like the balances of his world gained its symmetry, for the world he lived in was now lively and full.
Giyuu
to the one who stayed
Giyuu spent his life observing as the world shifted around him. Idly standing by in the sidelines as the world moved around him. Yet most of all, he spent a lot of time observing you — his most beloved.
So it didn’t take him long to connect the dots. The lingering stares, the way you’d pull away from his touch, the time you exchanged for the company of another, and the sudden to drastic change of detached behavior. It was all silently noted in Giyuu's mind the second he noticed something off. The Water Pillar considers himself a man of logic, he’s not really the type to get caught up in emotion or allow it to cloud his judgment, but god did he try to live in ignorance. Maybe it wasn’t the best or healthiest thing to do but he figured he’d rather live hurt by you than be abandoned. So he made up excuses for you when you’d show up late at night with disheveled clothes and hidden ‘bruises’ on your neck. He’d rationalize when you’d leave him, muttering some quick lie to hurriedly rush into the embrace of another and away from his; even on your anniversary. He’d desperately reason you still loved him— even if you gave him every reason to know you didn’t. For a while, the Pillar started to believe his own lies until he caught glimpse of the way your eyes lit up when he came into range. The same way they used to look at him. No matter what way he’d try to look at it or how he tried to spin it he couldn’t come up with an excuse; deep down in his soul he knew you weren’t his anymore. And deep down in yours, you knew he knew you did too.
But his devotion to you remained stubbornly resilient. So when you’d be off and away from him, he’d spend his time under the Wisteria tree where he first promised himself to you. Reminiscing that day while he twirls a dainty flower between his fingers he glanced down at the empty spot beside him. You used to love visiting the Wisteria tree, smiling and giggling as you rest your back against Giyuus's chest while he held you securely in his arms. Sometimes you spent the time chatting and talking about your goals and ambitions, and others you spent silently listening to the sound of croaking frogs and chirping birds as you gazed up at the petals of the tree dancing in the wind. His heart squeezed in pain at the memory. ‘When was it, y/n?’ Leaning his head back on the tree he shakily sighed, ‘When did you stop loving me?’ Blinking back the tears collecting in the corner of his eyes, he could only stare blankly as the petals swayed in the breeze.
‘Is this what love is? Am I doing this right?’
Some might question or criticize Giyuu for his decision to stay within a relationship that was so obviously toxic. But those people didn’t understand how much kindness and patience you showed the Pillar when you first met. You were sincerely interested in getting to know him and never dismissed or demeaned him when others forgot him on the sidelines all too easily. They weren’t there to see how gently you handled him as you taught him what it was like to love and be loved. And most of all, Giyuu had already surrendered himself to you during a summer festival as the fireworks reached their peak performance. “My life and heart are yours to do what you see fit with.” he’d whispered against your ear before brushing your hair back and meeting your lips with his. He made this promise long before any of this happened, and there was no going back now. The way he sees it, if you trusted someone enough to submit your life to them then it doesn’t matter if one day they burn those bridges with you still on them. It’s easy to see a situation from the outside and direct it from afar but the love you two shared had so much more depth than that. In short, the man adored you, and he genuinely saw the best in you. Until the day you discard him he will continue to love you — devotedly.
It wasn’t until a few days later when you and Giyuu stopped to rest on a bridge in the countryside that he had broken his silence. “Why are you cheating on me?” his tone was flat but held an unfamiliar waver in it. Startled and caught off guard you snapped your eyes from the streaming river underneath to Giyuus's burning gaze beside you. Immediately your face twisted to one of mortification at the realization that you’d finally been caught in your web of lies. “I-I don’t… Tomioka what are you saying?” He winced, hurt by your response, “I know you’ve been having an affair. Y/n please.. be honest with me. Why?” Panic set in as your mind scrambled to come up with an answer but upon peering into your lovers tired eyes clouding with sorrow you eventually sighed in defeat. “I’m sorry.” Looking down in shame you bit your lip to hold back the tremble in your voice. Now wasn’t the time to be the victim. It’s not like your conscious hadn’t been eating you alive each time you’d lay next to your sleeping boyfriend after coming back late from another man’s bed. Or how you’d stare at yourself in the mirror with disgust when your fingertips would trace the hickies and marks left on your skin, you hated how they tauntingly glared at you. But most of all you hated yourself for the way you mistreated Giyuu because of it — projecting your anger onto him and treating him as the traitor.
Your thoughts were interrupted when you felt cold fingertips caress your cheek and gently move to lift your chin up. Widening your eyes in surprise you felt like absolute shit when you locked eyes with Giyuus sapphire irises peering down at you so lovingly, all the while tears threatened to cascade down his perfect skin. But what he said made you wish the earth could just swallow you whole. “Please don’t be upset, my love.” his voice cooed gently. Moving his right hand he gingerly tucked loose strands of hair back in place while his left delicately held onto the small of your waist to pull you closer to him. Resting his chin on the crown of your head he exhaled quietly in satisfaction. It’d been so long since he last held you like this, he missed it so much. You heard him shift slightly before feeling him place a lingering kiss on the top of your head, “it’s okay. I’d never leave you…” the pain in his voice made your skin burn and your eyes sting as you clutched onto his chest and wailed in frustration; feeling both relieved and furious at how easily he’d forgiven you. The pure love this man held for you was unparalleled to any you’d ever or could ever experience and you simply abused it — you abused him.
Despite ending your affair and spending your time attentively trying to fix the pieces that had been broken, your relationship was never the same. After all, love after betrayal doesn’t necessarily mean the person betrayed remains unchanged.
Giyuu used to be distant from others but now he was almost completely secluded. His rigid attitude turned into one void and emotionless, almost as if he was completely hallowed from within. His work hardly seemed to be affected by this incident, but other Hashiras had commented that even the demons he kills show more emotion than he does. You desperately tried to reassure him of your love for him and whisper tender affirmations each night as you held him in your arms, but it never seemed to help. His touches were cold. They no longer radiated the same warmth they used to when he grazed your skin. He’d still smile at you but they always seemed a little sad. The man who once loved you was now a mere shadow of his former self and it made your stomach twist in regret. Though despite his distant love he’s become clingier than before. Clearly much more insecure than he used to be. When he wasn’t out on a mission he’d often find himself wrapped around your embrace whenever he got the chance, and on other occasions, you’d find him sitting under the Wisteria tree.
The Water Pillar was a broken man before you met him but now his pieces weren’t just broken, they were missing.
Obanai
to the one who blamed himself
You’ve been gone more often than usual — it’s not out of the ordinary to leave home for week long expeditions but you were always fairly quick and efficient with them. Meaning coming home early or on time was pretty normal for you. One might assume that being partnered for a mission might even cut that time in half, but it seemed it only extended it.
He found it rather coincidental that you just so happen to be assigned a partner for this specific mission. The partner in question being a relatively new recruit into the Demon Slayer Corps, not to mention one who caught the attention of one of the other Hashiras. Apparently the Slayer was quick witted and talented which is why he was paired with you — another fellow Hashira. Initially the mission was said to be pretty straight forward: find the demon causing panic and kill it. It wasn’t even ranked as any formidable demon. The mission was set to be a sort of trial run for the new recruit to demonstrate his skills as well as display his adaptability to working with teammates. You were there to analyze his performance and give a verdict to hq on whether or not the recruit was fit to train under the Hashiras. The assignment was pretty simple. So then why were you still gone?
Obanai could be defined as a jealous man at times, he’ll admit that, but after the both of you took your time to slowly build a concrete foundation and form a strong bond his insecurities, inferiority, and feelings of being undeserving all eased in intensity when he finally allowed himself to feel safe in your love. And yes, after hearing you’d be going on an expedition with some stupid prodigy all the other brainless Hashiras were raving about he felt a little uncomfortable but when he saw how giddy and excited you were to be somebody’s first mentor — especially since it was Master Kagaya who assigned you the position himself — he couldn’t find it in himself to voice his concern over some petty feelings of a hurt ego. Which by the way, was really hard to suppress when he caught sight of the guy. He hated to admit but the man had a build similar to Rengoku with a face as ‘traditionally’ handsome as Tengen. It irked him to no end but Obanai trusted you.
Though his trust soon turned into anxiety and then doubt.
Not once did he imagine he’d be suspicious of his lover, or doubt your loyalty, but the unsettling feeling in his gut only got worse by the day and by the following week it felt like his instincts were practically setting off alarm bells that something was wrong. He tried his damndest to rationalize with himself. Maybe he was just overreacting? You’ve never given him reason to question you. Even when Kaburamaru hissed at your touch before departing, he decided to look past it — I mean, you’ve been together for so long, what could change now? So instead he clicked his tongue and busied himself with killing any filthy demons infecting the nearby villages. Maybe your trail had gone cold, or maybe there was another demon unexpectedly lurking in the shadows? You would always tell him everything that crossed your mind no matter how stupid or ridiculous it was, and you’d still diligently reassure him you loved him when you’d catch him staring at his reflection too long. You would never hurt him like that. You were just caught up, that’s all.
But your arrival only made him wish you never came back at all.
Since returning you seemed more fidgety than usual, rigid even. When he asked you how your mission went you laughed nervously, and the moment you went on an apprehensive ramble about the mission, his mind had finally come to confirm what his heart already knew to be true.
“What about h/n.” His eyes narrowed sharply on yours, “You went on a three week long expedition with him yet you haven’t mentioned him once.” His voice trembled at the end, and he felt disgusted by his vulnerability.
“We didn’t talk much.” Your gaze glued to the ground. Obanai studied your shifty form before suddenly turning on his heels and ending the conversation short. He didn’t bother to utter a single word or even glance back at you as you called out to him. Instead his fists clenched and his focus remained straight ahead. Hed like to say it was due to his dignity that he didn’t dare turn back at the sound of your voice calling his name, but in truth it was in fear that you’d hear his voice shake when he tried to speak or catch glimpse of the way his watery eyes betrayed his enraged look.
Upon returning home later that night he immediately sought refuge in the safety of his bedroom. Self deprecating thoughts had been fervently enveloping his mind since he left. Memories of long ago whispering poison in his ears until he picked up the faint scent of your perfume lingering in the air, dispelling the intrusion. From the corner of his bloodshot eyes he caught sight of the promise ring he gifted you — the one he’d kiss on your finger each time he’d hold your hand. Now it sat returned and desolate on the bed. That jade ring used to be a promise of a love that was meant to be forever eternal, but now symbolizes another promise. A final goodbye. With a sharp inhale he stalked over to the bed, wide mismatched eyes glaring down at the thin green band. Snatching it from the bed he crushed it in his palm until it was nothing but dust and grains. “If I am bound for hell then let it be hell. No more false heavens.”
Weeks have passed by since then, but Obanai hasn’t moved on. He decided to leave your life quietly and sever every last thread connecting you to him. When the other Hashiras asked him about what happened he’d immediately lose his temper. His tongue far more venomous than any serpent slithering in this realm of reality. In turn this made being around him all the more difficult. Obanai already held a reputation of being demeaning and demanding, he was cold to anyone who interacted with him but now all those traits just seem to be amplified.
But most notable of all was the image he now held of himself.
Deeply rooted in his soul, the Serpent Pillar never believed he was truly worth loving. He wasn’t born with that right. As much as he hated his family for what they said to him, he’d be lying if he said he didn’t agree. He was doomed to living a life of suffrage and because he allowed himself to feed into the pathetic idea of being loved, he was now facing the consequences of forgetting his place.
So he simply lost himself in going off on mission after mission, not necessarily to take his anger and hurt out on the demons, but to get as far away from you and the corpses of memories haunting the halls back home.
Sanemi
to the one who broke
Sanemi caught you red-handed cheating on him.
Huge mistake for you, fatal mistake for the poor trash currently groping your half-naked body in a secluded area of the woods in broad fucking daylight. Of course upon seeing this, Sanemi’s vision turned red. It was almost instinctual how his body reacted. His mind was blank, he didn’t think of the consequences or the fact he was a Hashira with an image to represent for the Corps., he just… well, reacted. It took no time at all for Sanemi to beat that slimy bastard one punch shy from death. Your cries begging him to stop might as well have fallen on deaf ears because his movements wouldn’t cease until the guys face was bloody and his fists ached from the brute force of him pounding whoever the fuck side piece he found you with. Slowly blinking as he hovered above the guys body he eventually came to his senses. The sound of your voice increasingly grounding him back to the situation he had just caught you in, and that’s when his lilac stare snapped up to lock with yours. Picking himself up he slowly strided towards you — anger and confusion clearly evident on his pretty features until he finally reached you. Extending a freshly bruised hand he roughly cupped your jaw.
“Did ya like it?” He seethed through gritted teeth. His predatory irises narrowed on your puffy eyes as they wet your cheeks with tears. “Was it worth it?”
If you focused closely you’d probably be able to notice the small crystal droplets collecting in the corner of his eyes and the uneven pattern of his breathing. In fact, if you pay attention you might be able to note the underlying hint of pain hidden in his voice. But you didn’t have time to register his demeanor before he pushed you up against a tree with his hand still firmly grasping your jaw and his face inches from yours.
“Fucking answer me.” He growled, almost too pathetically close to pleading, but you simply squeezed your eyes shut while tears continued to stream down.
Your mind ran fervently with embarrassment as you tried desperately to cover your exposed skin — humiliated and ashamed at the compromised position you’d put yourself in. Before this Sanemi had never once laid a hand on you like this, in fact, despite his aloof and aggressive nature, he’s never done anything to purposefully hurt you. The Wind Pillars love has always been loud in its silence — domineering, possessive and rough around the edges sure — but never one someone could question. Many of the other Hashiras even joked about the way Sanemi treated you compared to the way he interacts with other people, how love can truly make the heart grow fonder no matter how stubborn and hot-blooded it’s owner is. It was clear he didn’t simply view you as his but rather viewed himself as yours. Which is why he couldn’t bear to remain in your godforsaken presence any longer. Because that’s all it was, wasn’t it? You were never actually his.
So he released his hold on you and furiously turned to disappear into the creeping veil of sunset.
To say that Sanemi allowed his rage and raw emotions to consume him is an understatement. He went on a complete rampage challenging any demon misfortunate enough to cross his path. He slaughtered and ripped demons apart the same way you did his heart — no, no Sanemi wasn’t cruel enough to match you. For the rest of the night up until dawn, Sanemi remained located in the deepest and darkest parts of the forest until sunlight finally caressed his skin and illuminated the litter of wounds and injuries now decorating his body. That’s when he finally snapped out of his violent dissociation. But he didn’t bother covering his wounds or stopping the bleeding, instead he just picked up his sword from the ground where it laid surrounded by fallen branches and the crimson color wetting it’s blade.
“Shit.” Coughing out a bit of blood he tiredly limped his way back home. Completely void of any emotion at all.
For a moment since the incident, Sanemi felt tranquility, too tired and mentally drained from the night of nonstop fighting but upon reaching his bedroom door it felt as if every raw emotion slumbering under his skin had violently awoken to fuel his veins. But instead of anger he felt despair. Falling to his knees he grit his teeth to keep himself from crying out loud and instead threw his sword to the side only to be startled by the sound of glass shattering. Glaring up in the direction of the noise he scoffed to see he had shattered the mirror you’d placed across the room, now parallel from him. His lips turned into a sneer until he caught glimpse of himself between the cracks of the glass. His whole demeanor seemed primitive and dirty, some of his scars reopened along to what he imagined to be a few new ones and his eyes seemed to stare back but they seemed unfamiliar. Though the most noticeable difference hid within. The numbness of his body reverberated into his heart and the blood of his emotions stained onto his soul, mockingly covering the bit of purity he had left. With nothing left, Sanemi curled into himself with his calloused digits intertwining and harshly gripping his hair. Tears streamed down his dirty face as he felt the last of his compassion slip away from his fingers. The life he felt undeserving of having was so close in reach, he could swear his fingertips felt the radiating warmth of it, but it’s like once his fingertip grazed it, it sealed away further from him than before — forever remaining out of reach.
All he wanted was you.
Sanemi’s prowess in battle is genuinely something predatory — especially given that he has quite the blood-lust for killing demons — but now it seems like a new motive has been added to the mix. His fighting style has always been brutish but never reckless, though now it just seemed like he’d linger a little too long on deaths door before completing his missions. It was a subtle but distinct difference Shinobu had noted since she started to see him frequenting the Butterfly Estate more often.
The Wind Pillars hatred really manifested after your betrayal. He trusted you with his pain and you only hurt him even more. You knew why he was the way he was, you knew why he was so abrasive, violent and dismissive, you knew how he was only terrified of losing any more of the people he loved — yet you still dragged him in the mud and mocked the vulnerability he so fully entrusted to you. You knew. But I guess this should serve as a lesson to the Pillar. Demons and humans cannot coexist, but what then are demons if not former people? How much malice is already burrowed under the surface before turning into the wretched creatures he kills every night? You were a lesson.
The wolf in sheeps clothing.
Tengen
to the ones who reminisce
It’s such a sad misconception to believe infidelity doesn’t exist within polygamous relationships. Though it’s not like you weren’t aware of it. So then what prompts somebody to cheat? Dissatisfaction, neglect, jealousy, lack of intimacy or connection, lack of flair? What was it, what was it that prompted you to cheat on them? What went soo horribly wrong you had to go and do something so selfish.
But it’s also not like the signs weren’t already there in all their deceitful might. They all just couldn’t — or wouldn’t — believe it. You had a happy, loving home with four people who’d give up the world for you. There wasn’t some weird hierarchy in the relationship, everyone was loved entirely and equally. The wives were so kind and welcoming when Uzui first introduced you and it was them who begged their husband to propose to you. Sure the dynamic was a bit strange for you given that polygamy wasn’t something you’ve ever experienced but they all did their best to be as gentle and understanding as possible. Meaning jealousy or miscommunication couldn’t have been the reason for your betrayal. Not to mention that you were also happy — or at least were at some point. You loved Uzui with such a burning passion! Loud and flamboyant, as if the man himself hung the stars in the sky. You loved Hina the way flowers loved the beams of the sun, and just like a tiger lily, you’d always gravitate towards her warmth. You loved Makio as fiercely as a warrior in battle, relentlessly and earnestly — someone worth fighting for. And Suma? The bond you had with her was innocent and childlike, you handled her with care and never once scolded her for her emotions, instead comforting her with open arms.
That’s what made it hurt so much. When did you lose your love for your family? What changed?
It was Suma who first noticed something off about you. It was another day of Makio and Suma arguing over something petty, and as per usual Suma ended up running off to find you. When she found you tending to the garden she immediately tackled you from behind crying about how Makio had been bullying her all morning just because she accidentally dropped the egg basket on the way back from the chicken coop. Her tears and snot was already covering the entirety of your back but instead of cooing words of comfort she heard a small sigh leave your lips. Turning, you held her as she cried on your shoulder but she didn’t feel the same radiating warmth coming from you. In fact, you were hardly listening as she hiccuped through her whines — you were completely zoned out! Lifting her head up to peak at you she caught glimpse of the irritated glint in your eye. A look she’d never seen directed at her before.
Then Makio started to raise some questions. Everyone in the household had a job to do to keep the house running, her and yours was picking up medical supplies from the Butterfly Estate. The errand run was biweekly. You’d go, gather the supplies — maybe chat a bit with the girls while you wait — and then go home. Simple. But lately you’ve been going a little more often than usual. It started when you began making weird excuses, from ‘Oh they forgot to add bandages’ to ‘Uzui went on a mission this week so I’m just going back in case we need more supplies!’. At first she shrugged off the situation, thinking maybe you’ve been more on edge since rumors began circulating about a Upper Moon lurking in the Red Light District, but then she noticed that sometimes you’d come back empty handed, muttering a quick ‘They didn’t have anything…’ before shuffling back inside. Curiously she visited the Butterfly Estate to ask about it and when they said you hadn’t come to pick up any supplies recently it was like an alarm had just been set off.
Next was Hina who noticed something was wrong. It started with nervous chuckles and forced smiles here and there when you’d all be enjoying time together. She caught on at the retracted touches and shifty behaviors — and for some reason you were always tugging and fixing your clothes. She tried asking if something was wrong or if something had been bothering you but you’d always quickly dismiss her questions or get upset with her for ‘always assuming the worst’ and snapping at her for pestering you with ‘stupid questions’. Hurt and confused she’d let the topic go but your reaction just prompted more questions. Her final straw though was when an argument occurred within the group involving Makio and Uzui, and a messy Suma sobbing as she begged them to stop fighting. Moments like these would usually be times when you and Hina would work together as the voice of reason. It was such a relief for her to have someone she can rely on at times like these, especially because you were always so present and patient in the relationship, but this time instead of trying to settle everyone down and find a solution you burst in anger. Callling them childish for their stupid fights and storming off and out of their sight — leaving your husband and wives staring wide eyed as the sliding door slammed shut.
Now Uzui has had his eyes set on you since your behavior shifted. You were smart, cunning, and surprisingly conniving — he’ll give you that. It took him a while to see through your deceit. I mean you were going up against the Sound Hashira himself, despite what he says, he got his position as a Hashira for a reason; you kept your cards close to your chest with him which made this reality all the more heartbreaking because you did it with intent. Uzui loved you so much and when thoughts of infidelity began plaguing his mind he couldn’t help but blame himself a little. Had he not been paying enough attention to you? Were you unsatisfied with his flamboyant boasts of love? Did you realize polygamy wasn’t for you? Were you looking for something more? Something entirely to call your own? But if you were why couldn’t you talk to him about it, why did you have to go and rip apart the home you built with him? After surmising what the truth might be, he took a few days to process the pain and heartache that came at the probability, and as much as he hated it, he indulged his need for you as much as he could until it became unbearable. It's not that he lived in denial, he just truly couldn't wrap his head around his sweet wife doing something so wicked. Even the idea alone sounded so wildly ridiculous to him, that under different circumstances, he would throw his head back and laugh. That was until the cold caress of your touch stung his skin and the absent look in your eyes broke his heart.
Uzui knew then that he had a choice to make.
Tengen isn’t someone who beats around the bush or tip toes over issues. No matter how hard the confrontation is, he’s never backed down from getting answers. It’s just such a shame that he had to take such drastic measures with you. Not only did he need to settle what exactly was going on between the two of you but he needed to answer to his wives. After all, he wasn’t the only one reeling back from this, his wives — your wives — were too. So he waited outside the entrance of the estate for your return and hurriedly ushered you to the seclusion of the garden where he figured his wives wouldn’t be able to hear. You stood nervously in front of him as his eyes narrowed on you and his usual flair of showmanship completely 180’d. Clicking his tongue he tilted his head, “Got something on your mind?” his voice was low. “N-no… I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Your voice wavered at the end, he noticed. “I’m talking about your cheating, what else?” Immediately your eyes widened at his bluntness; your voice stuttered as you tried to speak but no words came out. You were completely caught off guard and unprepared. Silence filled the room for a minute before he spoke, a dry chuckle croaking out of his chest. “So it’s true, huh?” He bit the inside of his cheek in a desperate attempt to keep his composure but the feelings he’s been trying to keep at bay began bubbling up to the surface. Anger, sorrow, and confusion jabbed at his heart and he couldn’t find it in himself to keep his act. Hearing him take a shaky inhale you hesitantly turned your gaze to him, chest clenching when you caught glimpse of the single tear running down his cheek as he struggled to hold himself together. The sight alone made your own eyes water and your skin burn with shame. ‘What was I thinking?’ blubbering out apologies, your walls began crumbling as hot tears poured down your eyes. Upon hearing your wails and Uzuis voice raising in volume, the three wives came rushing to the source to see what was going on; when they arrived they all paused in their tracks at the scene in front of them. Collectively they understood the situation.
Suma was the first to speak. Her wide blue eyes turned to look at you as her voice barely spoke above a whisper, “Is it… true?” unconsciously her body had began moving towards you, her heart automatically gravitating to comfort her crying wife but as her arm reached out to touch you Makio quickly swatted it away. Looking to her left Suma saw Makio angrily wiping her tears away as she stepped in front of her and furiously glared at you, “Answer her, y/n!!” she roared. Solemnly you looked up at your three wives with puffy eyes pooling in regret, and instantly it felt like their world had stopped. Buckling to her knees, Suma began wailing. Her mind ran in a frenzy, hiccuping cries asking if it was her fault, if she had been too clingy. She caved into herself as she hugged her stomach to calm the nauseating feeling accumulating in her system and in her heart. Makio erupted into a blind rage, enveloping her in an armor of fury to keep herself from breaking. She screamed and yelled at you, calling you ‘heartless’ and ‘a traitor’ in her wake of emotions, even if her voice cracked in between. Hina wept silently in the sidelines, averting her gaze from you and squeezing her eyes shut to try and pretend none of this was happening; desperately she tried blocking out the commotion of raw emotions ringing in her ears. And in the midst of all the chaos it was Uzui who gave the final verdict. Coldly and detached, his maroon irises deadpanned on you before snarling out a single word. A single word that would cut the thread of fate connecting the five of you.
“Leave.”
Seasons have passed since that day and the four have finally returned to their normal routines. Ironically enough, the trauma had brought them all closer together, comforting and checking in on each other attentively as they all tried their hardest to move on. For a while Tengens flamboyance and charisma dimmed. Maybe it was the lack of sleep, maybe it was because he began struggling with his appetite, or maybe it was because nothing was appealing to him anymore. Hina thinks maybe it’s all three. The Sound Hashira tried to keep his mourning as lowkey as possible, he didn’t want to weigh his wives down or make them worry more than they already do, he knows how hard this is for everyone and he’d rather they focus on their own healing than fret over his. But not everything can be bottled up before it spills and that leak spread all over his work. During his time of grieving, Uzui found it harder to go on missions, he didn’t have the same motivation or flair and he quickly found himself feeling irritated each time he’d take off on another assignment. He hated coming back home after missions most of all, mostly because his thoughts were so consumed by grief that his efficiency in killing demons took a hit and he’d come back home littered in wounds, only prompting his wives to worry about him instead of taking care of themselves.
Over time the group had started to heal little by little and their usual spark had returned. Smiles and laughter echoed through their home and regular arguments between Makio and Suma returned back to schedule. Their little family survived thanks to their endless love and support for one another, but sometimes… sometimes things were still hard. It happens when Hina would be busy in the kitchen, stressed and overwhelmed with balancing both her cooking and Suma making a mess with the flour, she’d instinctively call out your name — pausing before realizing you weren’t.. here anymore. It’d occur when Makio would be out running errands. She’d stop by a snack booth to buy something to eat only to find that instead of buying one steak skewer she accidentally bought two. Staring at the second skewer she’d grit her teeth before angrily throwing it in the woods, muttering it’s only use was for the wildlife to eat. It’d happen for Suma when she’d find herself overwhelmed with emotion. She’d run off from whatever situation she found herself in, sobbing and hiccuping to go find you, running through the halls only to slowly come to an abrupt stop when she’d remember what happened. At times like that she’d hide herself in a closet and silently weep into her hands. Then there was Uzui, the one who seemed most pieced together. It wasn’t really situations or events that still kept him visiting your memories. It was a small picture he kept hidden under the floorboards of his bedroom. A single picture of you smiling on your wedding day, god how you looked so gorgeous, so…. happy.
A sad smile sat on his lips at the memory of the one who wasn’t meant to be.

Love is cruel, isn’t it? How quickly it could deteriorate. The way it’s roots latch themselves onto your nerves and bleed when weeds begin to fester like a plague. It’s funny, really, how a taste can so closely resemble a feeling. He’d describe it as the bitter taste of burnt kuding tea carelessly brewed in loss and betrayal. Oh, how his pretty eyes now void themselves when he hears of love. A feeling he’ll never quite forget. That is because he met you, and it was after your betrayal, and only after your betrayal, that he felt the balances of his world no longer held any symmetry, for the world he lived in was now desolate and barren.

𝐊𝐧𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐯 𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐬
(Having u as their S/o, Giyuu, Obanai, Sanemi and Rengoku!)
Btw SFW!
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
♡ Tomioka Giyuu ♡
The person who probably confessed would be you! He too shy- (>w<)
Always gets you a snack whenever he is out on a mission bc he feels bad for leaving you all along at home if you arent a demonslayer!
You would be his bestest friend! (>w<)
Also his crow always loves getting pats from you even though it sometimes mistakes you as its owner instead lmao
Plus whenever you guys have misunderstandings or arguments, Giyuu would apologise if at fault after a deep reflection. But if you were the one at fault, oh boy, you better be prepared to face a pouty and upsetty spaghetti Giyuu! (>~<)
Honestly, the experience as his S/o is a 9/10!
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
♡ Iguro Obanai ♡
Of course as expected the person who confessed first would be you! -_-
As you can see with Mitsuri, if he is in love with you, he would be devoted and i tell you like devoted.
You must be besties with Mitsuri btw bc his good friend must be yours too!
He would discreetly buy snacks and gifts for you during missions and place them around the house. Also, whenever you come across it or use it, he wouls be in an amazing mood and smile behind his mask of course others couldnt tell tho sadly
Also you will be the first to every see his mask off as it was a form of trust for him to you. But ofcourse you made him slightly more comfotable by telling him an embarassing secret or something equally secretive in exchange so he doesnt feel so awkwards! ^w^
Whenever you have arguments or misunderstandings tho he would apologise by hugging you or giving you something,he wouldnt verbally say it. But when it was you who waa at fault, be prepared for the silent treatment and having to earn back his love!
All in all dating him is a 7.5/10!
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
♡ Shinazugawa Sanemi ♡
Sanemu would give you hints that he loves you and all but ultimately it would still be you who would confess first lol
Would be a tsundere 100%
Whenever he is out on missions he would get you snacks and gifts from all over the country to compensate the time lost together.
Also, you will be the key to unlocking the distant amd damaged relationship of Genya and Sanemi.
Whenever you guys have misunderstandings, like Obanai, Sanemi wouldnt verbally state his apologies but instead through acts of service, physical touch or gifts. When you are at fault, which is rarely, be prepared for a whole lot of silent treatment and soft glares. But of course it is inevitable that with a few hugs, pats and kisses he is all yours again lol
So the experience of a relationship with him would be a 8/10
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
♡ Rengoku Kyojuro ♡
Truthfully i feel that both of you two might try to confess on the same day and laugh it off before starting to date lmao
Would be a pleasure to date him omg his so gentlemanly!
Whenever you guys have misunderstanding or arguments, it is very civil as in no screaming or shouting. After the arguments, both parties will have some time alone to reflect and apologise to the other if they are at fault.
Also you guys would definitely get matching outfits and haoris together and omg would i be fangirlingg when seeing the sight of you two! >w<
Though, if you arent too energetic like me, he would be too enthusiastic, loud and energetic sometimes
So all in all, the experience as his S/o is 9/10!

Giyu General Headcannons
Tumblr media
I'm back! I celebrated my birthday this Saturday and now I have second degree burns when I just wanted breakfast this morning… and I was supposed to have a midterm tomorrow…….. and now I am typing everything with one hand while writing in pain…………
But for now here's some Giyu Headcannons! Requests and asks are still open ^^
Word count: 1k~
So let's talk about Giyu
Everyone is so quick to judge this man and label him as "boring" or "stoic" and while those claims aren't necessarily false, I think we need to give Giyu a bit more credit
He's just really fucking tired, like all the time
Shinobu often teases Giyu and encourages him to lighten up a bit in hopes that he's seen as more open or approachable to his peers, but his efforts don't necessarily work the way that he intends
He's awkward in a where where he just has no clue what he's doing, ever
Giyu is the epitome of waving back at someone only to realize that they were greeting the person behind you
Like you could tell him about your awful morning and end it off by thanking him for listening, but the phrases "your welcome" and "no problem" will get jumbled in his head and he'll just stutter out a "your problem" instead
What's even worse about it is he'll just walk away in embarrassment
It's not an understatement by any means to say that Giyu is an introvert, but he really does value his personal time
A lot of it he spends self-regulating, and he doesn't usually want anyone around while he's doing that
Giyu doesn't talk about it but he keeps a mental checklist of things that he should do throughout the day to retain himself
He actually gets pretty upset if they go wrong
For an example. Giyu developed a routine where he makes tea in the comfort of his engawa and he knocked the cup over, spilling it onto the soil below
He was pretty harsh on himself all day because of it, even walking away from Rengoku wordlessly when he tired to incite Giyu our to eat with him
Giyu's not emotional, rather than he has a lot going on mentally and even the smallest mistake he makes can incapacitate him for the rest of the day
He would rather self-isolate until he feels better instead of bringing down his friend's moods just because he's not in a good mindset
He also journals, paints, reads, and goes on walks to help cheer himself up
Giyu doesn't really advertise that he does any of this because as I mentioned, he really values that time to himself
Would happily join someone if they invited him to do any of these activities though
Usually on his good days, he'll spend time with Shinobu, Sanemi or Rengoku and might even crack a smile or two if they're lucky
He especially likes hanging around Sanemi's estate, listening intently as Sanemi shares about the rhino-beetles he's been raising
Giyu and Shinobu find it very fascinating
What sucks is that Giyu's bad days are really incapacitating, sometimes he just spirals at the end of the day because he reaches an "I did what I supposed to, why am I still feeling like this?" mentality
I wasn't kidding when I said he can be really harsh on himself
The best way to offer help to Giyu is to offer to sit with him
His love language isn't quality time, but he really does appreciate the opportunity to just exist in a space with someone without the expectation that the two of you need to talk or anything
If he does talk, really take the time to listen
Giyu rarely enjoys speaking for a long time, and usually just communicates by sharing the most impactful or practical information in the shortest sentence possible
Really think about what he's saying and respond accordingly
But now would be a really good time to reassure him that he's not wasting time or anything, as words of affirmation is his love language
Giyu is most definitely neurodivergent, and usually copes with his depression by trying to reaffirm a sense of control in his life
Although most people would do this by assuring that they have a choice at any given opportunity, Giyu on the other hand accomplishes this by organizing himself as much as he can
This doesn't always mean that his home is spotless or his hair is brushed, but it does usually mean that he schedules his day so that he rarely has anything incomplete
But there are those times where everything hits too hard and all he can do is lie in bed all day, watching the shadow of the leaves outside swaying in the breeze, creating a kaleidoscope of light on the ceiling of his room
If you noticed that you haven't seen Giyu in a day or two, try visiting his home with some food
He won't always let you in because there's probably a mess that he's putting off to clean
But he will remember that for a long time, and most likely return the favour if he has the opportunity to
Stepping away a bit from the angst, Giyu's journal looks super cool
His handwriting isn't usually legible so it's a bit hard to read, but he likes doodling stuff about the things that happened that day or keeping objects in between the pages
Like when he and Shinobu both spent time with Sanemi to see his rhino beetles, Giyu tried drawing Sanemi's favourite one
He even gave it a little leaf as an umbrella in his drawing since it was raining that day
Giyu also asked Shinobu to teach him flower pressing so he can preserve the daises Mitsuri gave him
So there it's kept, in between the pages of his overflowing journal with several other memorabilia
Also speaking of flowers, Giyu is shockingly good at taking care of plants
He actually can't fathom why because he often forgets to water them and doesn't exactly keep them in an optimal spot in his house
Rarely checks up on them due to all the missions Giyu's on
But not only are those plants alive, but they're thriving
Shinobu's actually jealous about how healthy his plants are, and when she tries to interrogate Giyu on what secret method he's using on them he just shrugs and says "I don't know, maybe it's because of the season? I have no clue"
He will admit that they should've died so long ago
But they do bring hope to Giyu, on those days where he can't seem to do anything he remembers his plants and that because they've lasted this long, then maybe he will be okay after all :)
꒷꒦˚︶︶꒦꒷︶꒷꒦˚ ꒷꒦˚︶︶꒦꒷︶꒷꒦˚ ꒷꒦˚︶︶꒦꒷︶꒷꒦˚
I am itching for some requests to fill so someone pls send something in , don’t be shy!
Also I have a Valentine’s Day post planned so stay tuned ;)
