if it does not affect you, i urge you to read this. her story deserves to be told.

cassie and diddy have settled just a day after she filed the lawsuit:

cassie is 100% valid for settling, i cannot imagine how tiring it would be to go thru the legal proceedings whether or not it was taken to trial.

but it's important that we don't forget. we don't let this die. diddy still needs to be held accountable for everything he's done. that does not go away w forking over 30 ms.

To anyone who is thinking of running away but is concerned about it coming out of nowhere to their abuser,

It will always come out of nowhere to them. It does not matter how bad the situation was before you left. It does not matter how many times you hint to them that it's happening. It does not matter how many times you've done it before.

They are never going to see it coming because what's traumatised you to the point of needing to leave was just another regular day to them.

Not to mention, they also don't want people to know that things were this bad and they knew it. So even if they did know, they're still going to feign shock and pin it back on you for being the irrational one.

If someone had of told me this sooner, it wouldn't have taken me three years of waiting for something bad enough to happen before I left. Please don't do the same thing.

thought i’d come on here and say that if you still support wilbur soot after what he did to shelby, unfollow and stay off my page, i don’t want anyone here who supports an abuser

to put my thoughts on Shubble’s story and Wilbur’s apology as someone who was a fan of him:

He is a abuser. The apology didn’t take any accountability and the fact the his own friends have spoke up against him says a lot more than that self centered paragraph he wrote.

Even though I didn’t watch Shubble, I’m proud of her being able to feel safe enough to speak up and share her story.

I’ve unfollowed Wilbur on everything and stopped listening to Lovejoy of Spotify.

My only problem personally is that I have at least 3 major decorations in my room that are Lovejoy centered and I’m not sure what to do about them.

Now that the tournament is wrapped up I'll first say that even with all the bullshit that came along with it, I still feel so privileged to be able to watch the growth of women's sports in real time like this. There was so much Black joy, so much colonized joy, so much queer joy, and I hope nobody loses sight of how radical the wwc and woso are at the roots. The players are succeeding with quite literally every odd stacked against them in some cases, and i desperately hope that with a spotlight shined on some of the inequalities we've seen, it might get better.

Having said that, I hate that Spain won. It's nothing against the players and everything against Vilda; I ache for the players who watched the final knowing that with a win, with the federation backing Vilda, their careers might be over. I'm still kind of in disbelief that after this incredible tournament, this is somehow where we ended up. And I hope that if you're feeling similar to me, that feeling will serve as a reminder that we are not done yet. Growth isn't good enough if it comes at the cost of players' well-being.

there’s a bunch of shit my abuser did that I need to make note of

I came to him when I first cut myself and he told me to keep doing it

Hit me when he was feeling any feelings (even when he was happy. He’d ram swivel chairs into me, hit me with books, his laptop, etc)

Told me he couldn’t be held accountable because his parents didn’t love him and he was depressed

Made fun of my SH scars when I was almost a year clean, even though he was the one who made me this way

Made all of our mutual friends ignore me because he thought it was funny (I had a breakdown, that made him laugh)

Anytime I got up the nerve to say “fuck you” he made jokes about actually fucking me (even though he knew that made me uncomfortable and he was gay)

Ignored my pleas to distance myself from him. I told him he was a bad friend and I didn’t like being around him and he acted like I didn’t say that at all

Tried to drown me (we were at a friend’s backyard pool and we were dunking each other; he held my head underwater until I went limp)

I asked him why he tried to drown me, and he said he just felt like it that day

I’m done with my normal person arc. Im going to be a bitch and voice my opinions until I get doxxed.

My Opinion on the Shubble & Wilbur situation and what it means for me as an dsmp artist (Most important parts are highlighted in red)

I wanna give a piece of my mind to the situation that is currently going on between Shelby and Wilbur. I know some time has passed but I needed time to think and want to state my opinion very clearly, since I've been part of Wilburs fan base for quite a while and have posted fan art, and other content in the past.

First of I want to say that I support Shelby all the way. She's so strong for speaking up about this situation, which is super important. She deserves all the love and support she can get. 

Coming to the point that I will no longer be supporting Wilbur or Lovejoy. What Wilbur did is absolutely terrible and his statement on Twitter a sad excuse of an apology. Having mental health issues is not an apology to treat people poorly, especially in the form of abuse. Physically hurting someone and putting all your burdens and responsibilities on their shoulders is childish and UNACCEPTABLE. And just so I mentioned it, a relationship is a big responsibility, always. While I belived in giving people a second chance and bad people being able to improve, it is not my place to forgive Wilbur, so unless Shelby herself states that the situation got sorted out, my opinion will stay the same. Meaning I will no longer create or post any new art of Cc!Wilbur or Lovejoy whatsoever. I’m also not comfortable with drawing C!Wilbur at the moment and have not yet decided if I’ll draw him again in the future. If there's any art of them still on my profile, I have personally decided to keep it up, because hours of work went into the piece. With my opinion stated, I will not be hating on anyone who decides to still support him, even if it doesn't match my perspective on the situation, other peoples decisions are none of my business.

Coming to my last point, I totally get that this situation was a lot to take in. Especially for Content Creator's who where close friends with Wilbur or longtime fans. It's okay to grief and to take your time with it. He was an idol, a comfort character/streamer, someone safe to many, so it's okay take a break and think about what is going to happen next. I hope everyone is doing alright and getting the support they need to get trough this. Remember you are important, loved deserve to be happy.

All my love goes out to Shelby but also to everyone else who's having difficult time at the moment.

HOLY SHIT WILBUR SOOT TURNED OUT TO BE AN ABUSER-

The justice system in America is an absolute joke. I find it utterly ridiculous that women have to literally fight to get the protection of the law from their abusers. That their abusers, who have threatened their lives and are multiple charged violent criminals with a history of said abuse, are so easily released from the incarceration the abused fought for if they have the ability to pay for their freedom. Sorry but if someone’s a legit threat to the public, they ought not be allowed to walk free just because they could afford to pay some fee that allows them some semblance of freedom until their court dates. Freedoms they can and will use to abuse either their already victims or new victims and/or utilize to flee the law completely.

Then while living through such a hell, being witness to the ridiculousness of the fact that famous rich people get to walk free while charged by the federal government for espionage (that’s likely cost many American agents across the globe their lives) and attend their court proceedings like a civil proceeding only reminds me that this system is 100% corrupt and 100% flawed.

Those who deserve to be behind bars get to waltz free to cause more harm if they have the money to do so. While those who broke tiny laws that do not necessarily mean they ought to be behind bars are kept behind bars if they cannot pay for their freedom. This is absolutely a two-tiered justice system, but it’s not what far-right conspiracy believers think it to be, it is a two-tiered justice system that favors those with money while punishing & enslaving those without money. Just like everything else in the capitalist hellhole that is America, absolutely every fucking thing is geared to the favor of the rich. I cannot be proud of this country and it’s corrupt systems, I can only be enraged and ashamed of it, as we all should be.

America is a withering failure of a democracy and the law is an absolute joke.

All three are claiming to be different people; one saying they are the original anon, another saying they arnt the original anon and a last one with no reference to either party. Hmm... The typing/language used is the same between all three parties...

Let's see about that :3

if I have to block all three anons individually, that means they have different IP addresses and therefore are probably(Could still all be the same person but from a different account/different device/etc but thats kinda conspiratorial lmao) three different people. If I have to block only 2 anons and one of the "anons" disappear when I block one of the other anons, it means when i blocked one of the other anons it also blocked them and therefore it was only two different people and one of them lied about being the previous anon/Lied about not being the previous anon/sent two anons. Lastly, if I have to block only 1 anon and all three messages disappear... It means it was all sent by the same person who is either lieing about being previous anon or is lieing about being new and sent an extra just to triple down.

Nothing said in any of these anons actually acknowledged much of what me (and that protector) said about the reality of proshippers, about how proshippers have dog whistles and that was one of them. Mostly just telling me to go outside (As if that's an actual counter argument), telling me I didn't answer their questions (I literally did??), telling me I just vented and didn't actually make points/provide sources (you asked about my DNI and I told you why it's there both logically and emotionally, your basically asking for trauma-evidence and that's ableist and abuse-denying as hell, typical proshipper behavior) and called grooming and abusing what is often vulnerable children "chronically online behavior".(as if that comment isn't a right wing talking point to the point of chronicality.)

Anyway proshippers are the most harassing group I've seen and sending three anons, 1 of which are lieing, trying to gaslight a fucking victim that the group they despise that allowed and encouraged the abuse they suffered supposedly "isn't that serious" is abuse denial. Abuse denial is a common in the proship/profic/anti-anti communities, I know because I used to support those communities, I used to be a proshipper and I see that community for what it really is, a bunch of pedos and racists and abusers trying to normalize their abuse of others and harassing anyone who questions them or asks them to leave them alone.
