25 push-up challenge everyday for all of 2023. Don't always post it because not sure if people get tired of seeing them. So I am still pumping them out. Dry needling this morning by my physical therapist on my lower thighs above my knees seems to be helping a lot. Next week so my calf muscles. Looking forward to a gym and run workout tomorrow. Happy Monday everyone. 🤜🤛🇺🇸❤️💪❤️
Hey Strong Sevens!!! Wanted to give you all an update on where we are this week -

And I completed the solo challenge for us today (thaaaanks for making the captains do week 1 >.>) - I completed 14 rounds in 20 min. My knee was like freaking out half-way through, but hey, I did what I could guys :)
GO TEAM! :D Let’s make sure to focus on miles, push-ups, and sit-ups before Sunday! :D
Decided to kick it off with an easy run around my friends' neighborhood. It was nice! I hope everyone has a great day one, and I look forward to Streakin' with you all! 😁
I’m considering bringing back an old fitblr community challenge I did a long time ago. “No Excuse November” (anyone remember it?) It’s mostly about accountability and to help push excuses aside to keep working towards goals.
I don’t have details worked out yet but was just wondering if anyone would be interested initially or would like to contribute ideas or thoughts that may help them increase accountability.
I’ve set my mind to dumping all my excuses for November to kick myself back into consistency though accountability. So I’ll be challenging myself regardless but it’s always fun and helpful if others want to join in. Comment here or let me know in a DM if you’d have interest and I’ll be sure to keep those people in the loop.
search #noexcusenovemeber on my blog for a feeling of what the last time was like. This time will be a little different and if enough people are interested it may be fun to break into teams. Standby for a post with specifics.
I was really proud of the mushroom thing. I had to take a close up of it. NF Greek yogurt, spices, mustard, worchestire. It was heavenly and as far as I can figure, healthy af!!
First marathon complete ✅️ obvs we walked bc it was over fells and moors and bogs and was very very hilly but 26 miles is 26 miles!! I'm so proud of us 🤩
Here we are at the start line, 8am, bright eyed and bushy tailed
A rainbow on the other side of the first v steep, v rainy hill
The middle 10 miles or so were straight over the moors.. after the wettest March in 42 years.. so everything was so unbelievably boggy and saturated and unstable and sinky. People were just scrambling around the fells trying to find any remotely stable ground to walk on 😂
Of course someone was always going to fall into the bog.. that someone was me. I was the Bog Victim of our group. Full on Vicar of Dibley style, the ground just disappeared from under me. It was up to my chest and so so cold and stinky and disgusting. Thankfully that wasn't long before the halfway checkpoint so I was able to change into dry pants at least. Boggy knickers were not pleasant 🤣
2 more miles of bogs up to the highest point at 15 miles, then the last 11 miles on actual tracks 😍 The last 3 miles felt like an eternity bc my feet were so tired and sore by that point. But we did it! Collected our tshirts, changed into dry socks and shoes, ate chocolate before setting off home.
Matthew's mam made us dinner as we were picking Maggie up from there after they looked after her, and we got home about 10pm. Such a long day but so much fun! Had a lovely hot bubble bath and a really good scrub, and forced myself to stretch properly. Ending the day on 74k steps (new record!) and nearly 30 miles 🤯 time for bed 😴
25 push-ups for 2023 challenge in the twilight! Day 60/365 in the books and my 2nd one mile walk of the night, gotta pump up the miles for the team challenge.
Keep on keeping on! @m0tiv8me @cdn-apex-predator @mybikesurly @painterofhorizons
Its been a rough few months since the games were completed, tried doing the 3k push-ups in May and in the middle of it all took a road trip to Texas and came back with a boot cup from The Big Texan... so couldn't even finish.
So here we are in June, part of this was because I was inspired by a man who had a stroke and before we could even talk some more and got to know more about him he disconnected. Im still gonna follow through with my June plans and more will be said about this on the podcast this weekend.
For now, im hurting. My hip arthritis has been flaring up and I still need to make another appointment with the chiropractor. But I needed that walk to loosen the hip flexers.
Hello again fitblr community, I told yall I was coming back.
Mindful Consumption 101 Challenge: Week 4✨🌍 | Holistic Leveling Up
🌼Each of us will leave behind a legacy. Educating ourselves and living in mindful alignment with our values is the way to leave the most beautiful marks possible in our power.🌼
Didn’t get my workout in this morning and didn’t feel like doing a workout tonight. But no excuses so I did one anyway, beat all my daily goals and feel good about it. Water intake is still not the best but doing better and healthier food choices are helping me feel more energized throughout the day. Not my most inspired effort, but I showed up!
First day of this challenge. I must say, I wasn't really productive in coding but it was a great day though, full of resources !
I joined twitter for the first time and god, it's a great platform for developers and coders, people there are generous, I found great github repos... ( ͡°⊱ ͡°)
For my current project, i'm learning ReactJs, I need to develop the frontend so I tried to make this day frontend focus. I found a roadmap / tutorial from geeks for geeks, it's super well explained so I went through it, and for the UI part, I dived into tailwind. I found a great repo for tailwind components if you're interested. The best part of today's work is that I finally started working with github and I actually understood how to push projects to a github repo, so it's 10/10! ⊂◉‿◉つ
My confidence. I want to be comfortable again in clothes and just being able to be free from my disgusting self hatred thoughts. Also I have acute back pain and chronic knee pain. I want to resolve that as well.
My cheat meat will on Sunday or Friday. Most likely will be a cheat snack and not a meal.
My diet 🥗
A low carb diet. Im not doing keto because the body truthfully need carbs. No sweets, soda,or fastfood. Cooking and meal prepping so itll reduce my chance of getting fast-food.
Books
Omg I have plenty of choices but ima start off with Hood Feminism. Maybe my textbook pages count? 🤣
