Using Lorenzo and Charles' interviews as reference, I'd love to see any assumptions of what Kaiser and Ness would answer here

I prefer plotting on Tumblr and writing on Discord. I write in third person, past tense. Semi-lit/lit (2-4 paragraphs). I try my hardest to reply daily. Depending on how the work week is going, it may take 2-3 days to hear back from me, though. NSFW/smut greatly preferred (with a healthy dose of plot) but not necessary.

I'm mainly interested in canon x canon pairings (MxM, FxF, or MxF). I'll take on some canon x OC (only MxM or FxF). I like canon or canon divergent plots. As long as the plot makes sense within the universe, I'll generally be okay with it.

Newt Appreciation Month: Day 5: Cutest Newt Moment

Uhh, that's hard. Without wanting to sound condescending, but Newt is just such a sweetheart.

After thinking about it and considering several options, I still feel I need to go with a classis: the Salamander Eyes Scene.

Just look at him. He's trying so hard. Jacob would think he's doing such a terrible job. But in this most desparate moment, he cannot but be himself, and that's why it works anyway.

I think close seconds for me are the scene in FBaWtFT where Jacob offers "Call me Jacob" and a handshake after the Erumpent chase and Newt just looks so shook and touched, and him fangirling when he meets Lally in SoD. :)

1. Eddie Redmayne!! I just love seeing him on my screen, be it interviews or films etc. Even reading interviews in articles of him makes me happy. He’s just amazing and has that voice, face, and personality that makes people happy. Well he does me. I’d be even happier if one day I get to meet him. But I doubt we’ll ever meet sadly. Just chatting to him or spending the day with him would make me happy, I’ve heard lots of good experiences from people who have met him, who all say he’s just wonderful.

2. Watching Fantastic Beasts, all three films make me happy.

3. Newt Scamander: I love seeing him on my screen, reading fan fiction about him, or seeing fan art with him in it. It just makes me happy seeing those things. Even just learning new information about him would make me happy. Another person I would just be happy chatting to or spending the day with. (Probably because he’s a character played by Eddie, but my all time favourite of his characters.

4. Just being silly with friends and chatting to them. I have one or two mutuals who I do this with on tumblr. It makes me happy when I get surprise messages from them, or when we just talk through tags or reblogs of each others posts. Online friends are fun as well as real life ones.

5. It makes me happy when people enjoy my works, like my writing and or artwork. I like seeing people interact with my fan fics or artwork, just like any other creative artist. It’s not often that people like or reblog my stuff. I know I’m not as artistic, or imaginative with my writing, but I like what I produce and I want people to enjoy them too, which is why I share them. So when people reblog, click like/vote/kidos, or comment etc and interact through my work, it makes me very happy to see that. I want people to enjoy what I create as much as I do. so the interest and enjoyment of my art, weather writing or drawing makes me enormously happy to see that there are people out there who enjoy and actually like my work. So if you enjoy my works, please don’t hesitate to let me know by commenting or reblogging. It really does make me happy, and motivates me too. :))

While promoting his upcoming Netflix thriller Pain Hustlers on the latest episode of the Inside Total Film podcast, the director got candid, explaining: "With Beasts, it's all just parked. We made those three movies, the last one through a pandemic, and it was enormous fun but it was tough. We were actually filming when there wasn't a vaccine. Thankfully, no one got sick, but we did have the most detailed protocols in place."

"We're all so proud of [Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore] and when it went out into the world, we just needed to sort of stop and pause, and take it easy," [...]

"The idea that there were going to be five films was a surprise to most of us," Yates went on. "Jo just mentioned it spontaneously, at a press screening once. No one had told us there were going to be five, we'd committed to the first one.

"I'm sure at some point, we'll be back. But yeah, I haven't spoken to Jo, I haven't spoken to [producer] David Heyman, I haven't spoken to Warner Bros; we're just taking a pause. It's quite nice. It allows me to do stuff like this."

agony i've been trying to sleep for an hour but i fucked up my sleep schedule over break so now i just have to lie here like "hmmmmm..... what if....... the harry potter obliviate wizards........ were bad at their jobs.......... and there was a secret colony of young magical & nonmagical children........ who remember magic... and know the wizards don't want them to...... and are in hiding..........."

#i'm thinking this is ~fantastic beasts era new york bc it feels easier to justify like 15-30 kids living on their own w/o like. jobs.#or getting caught.#they refer to losing their memories as 'getting erased'#bc at a certain point of magic exposure. yea. a lot of important or key memories might just go Poof. and take your personality with it.#some of them have seen it happen and those are the horror stories that spread in whispers #they know what happens if any of them get caught.#most of them have seen the horrors of magic (obscurial incident anyone?) and some of them have seen the beauties (fixing new york)#(+ newt was a LIL flippant w magic while he was there and yknow i'm willing to bet there were some other instances a small concealed child-#-could witness; also the magical creature pastries in the bakery. the kids aren't stupid they know he got Erased)#featuring a small magical child ~5-6 named andy he doesn't want to be a wizard bc he'll have to leave the group or they'll be found #also he's scared of wizards (but not magic)#+ the group leader giselle ~11-14; nonmagical angry and scared she knew about magic the longest has seen the most and knows the streets #she can identify wizards and does her best to work w the other older children to switch locations when the wizards sniff too close #also a poltergeist type ghost? can't research the Troll's lore bc it's 4:30 am and i'm trying to sleep #but like. a ghost that can physically manipulate the environment and can't be seen by nonmagical people as such #feeds off magical energy but decided to stick with this ragtag mix of magic and no magic bc it's funny and he's also kinda attached to them #they love their poltergeist buddy even tho the nonmagical kids can't see him just what objects he interacts with #at some point newt scamander loses his niffler and it finds its way to these children who name it richard and take it stealing with them #they love richard he's large and cute and when set loose in a jewelry store he cleans it out in under a minute #when newt tracks his niffler back to their hideout they emergency evac + knock him out lmfao #i kinda imagine newt being sympathetic? like there was that thing w the little girl he couldn't save #and now these kids right and probably eventually he's told the story via giselle trying to threaten him into staying tf away #and he'd obv be extremely worried for these kids n the possibility of an obscurial?#also he has some strong Nonthreatening vibes and i feel like he's not a government snitch even if the films iirc are tryin to make him a cop #newt scamander is not a cop idc fuck canon and fuck jkr #idk it's 4:38 am and i'm just trying to scribble down the thoughts before they leave #and hopefully FALL. sorry but it has to be said: watching Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore….with all of my love to Mads Mikkelsen & his great acting abilities…. I cannot forego Johnny’s performance in The Crimes of Grindelwald… this is his part in my opinion. I’m just.. sincerely having a hard time adjusting to this new take on the character after having seen Johnny portray him so well -imo- and then knowing he lost this role unjustly…that being said: I do have high hopes that Mads can take this character to a new level…….but I am just….saddened that Johnny could not reprise this role and continue on in the HP universe as he rightfully should have been

The Beatles: 3/10. None of these people are beetles, they’re just a bunch of fruity guys from Liverpool with matching haircuts

(Edit: changed from 0/10 to 3/10 because John Lennon beat his wife)

Pink Floyd: 4/10. There is not a single person named Floyd in the band, but some of the members do arguably look kinda pink

Nirvana: 10/10. Getting high and listening to Nirvana is roughly what I imagine actual nirvana to be like

Foo Fighters: either 0/10 or 10/10. I have never seen foo in real life so either they’re pretending to fight a problem that doesn’t exist or they’re doing an absolutely fantastic job of fighting it

The Eagles: 0/10. Same as the Beatles, there is not a single eagle in this band. The name is misleading and we have all been lied to

Queen: 6/10. Partial points for Freddie Mercury

Led Zeppelin: 0/10. I don’t think any of these guys have ever even seen a zeppelin, let alone one made of lead. A lead balloon would crash faster than my hopes and dreams

The Rolling Stones: 3/10. There is not a single stone in this band. Some points added because I’m pretty sure they rolled quite a few

U2: 0/10. Despite what the name says, I am not a member of this band

Metallica: 9/10. Naming a metal band “Metallica” is like naming your dog “doggy”

Red Hot Chili Peppers: 2/10. These guys are not chili peppers. They’re not even that hot, let alone red hot

Guns N’ Roses: 0/10. How the fuck could a gun or a flower play music

Backstreet Boys: ?/10. Depends entirely on their current given location

Simon and Garfunkel: 10/10. No notes

The Doors: 1/10. Jim Morrison is kinda shaped like a door tho

Chicago: 4/10. The number of people in this band does not come even remotely close to the population of Chicago. Points added because it originated in Chicago

Earth, wind, and fire: 2/10. This is even more innacurate than Chicago. Points added because wind instruments were often used

Def Leppard: 3/10. There is not a single leopard in this band. Some of the members are probably kinda deaf by now tho

The Beach Boys: ?/10. Accuracy depends entirely on location

The Black Eyed Peas: 6/10. Not sure what the hell an ‘eyed pea’ is but the black part is pretty accurate

Imagine Dragons: ?/10. Depends entirely on whether or not they’re thinking about dragons.

Green Day: 0/10. They’re not even green

The Police: 0/10. There is not a single cop in this band

We Butter the Bread with Butter: 8/10. I can’t verify this but I have no reason to suspect that they’d lie. Butter seems like the most logical thing to butter bread with

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard: 0/10. I got really excited about the concept of a lizard wizard only to be let down. My disappointment is immeasurable

They Might Be Giants: 5/10. I googled everyone in this band’s height, the tallest guy’s only 6’1 so I wouldn’t exactly consider him a giant. Then again, I can’t really argue because the claim was only that they MIGHT be giants

The Presidents of the United States of America: 2/10. None of these people are Joe Biden nor are any of them former presidents. This is incredibly misleading. I’m pretty sure “Lump” was written about my first girlfriend tho so I’ll give them a point or two

Gorillaz: 2/10 Not quite but we’re kinda close genetically so I’ll give them partial credit

The Killers: ?/10. I have no way of verifying if they’ve actually killed before but the fact that they’re not in prison tells me probably not

The Offspring: 10/10. These guys are definitely somebody’s offspring

Arctic Monkeys: 1/10. They are neither monkeys nor are they from the arctic

Thirty Seconds to Mars: 1/10. It takes WAY longer to get to mars than that

Beastie Boys: 8/10. They’re pretty beast on the guitar

Jimmy Eat World: 1/10. Slow the fuck down Jimmy, you’re biting off way more than you can chew

Hole: 9/10. One point deducted because I’m pretty sure they had more than one hole

Rage Against the Machine: 10/10. They did exactly that

Alice In Chains: 0/10. This is illegal. Let Alice go

The Band: 10/10. This could not possibly be more accurate

Nine Inch Nails: 1/10. I can’t find any good pictures of their feet but from what I can tell their fingernails definitely aren’t nine inches long

Radiohead: 0/10. Not a single person in this band has a radio for a head

Talking heads: 8/10. There’s more to the band than just a bunch of disembodied heads but the heads do tend to talk

The Cranberries: 0/10. Decent music but I only added them so that the Beatles and Freddie Mercury weren’t the only fruits on this list

The Wiggles: 8/10. They do tend to wiggle a lot

Weezer: 5/10. They all look like they definitely have asthma

Them Crooked Vultures: 3/10. These are people and not birds but Dave Grohl’s posture is kinda bad and John Paul Jones is so old that his neck kinda looks like a vulture’s so I added some points

The Strokes: 3/10. To my knowledge, none of them have had a stroke but I still added a few points because the name was probably accurate for other reasons

The Smashing Pumpkins ?/10. Another thing I have no way of verifying but this seems like a waste of perfectly good pumpkins

Therapy?: ?/10. The hell are they asking me for? I don’t know their medical history

Twenty One Pilots. 0/10. There’s only two of them and neither is a licensed pilot

Fall Out Boy: 9/10. I conferred with an expert on this one who confirmed that they are in fact boys who had a falling out

Cream: 8/10. Considering this was the OG supergroup I’m sure a lot of people did in fact cream when their music came out
