I was thinking and I got the conclusion that stalker!Tim works as an AU not because Tim is (while not a stalker) canonically a weirdo (he is) but because Bruce is canonically even more of a weirdo.

We know that just like his reaction to the fake uncle shit, after dealing with the shock that this kid figured out his identity and bonding more with his new Robin, Bruce would just compliment Tim stalker abilities and give him new ones.

And that's to say I need more of stalker Bruce creeping people up. We already have him knowing all JLA secret identities without them telling him. But we need more. I want him knowing Hal Jordan's favorite ice cream flavour or Diana's birthday or Dinah's food alergies without no one telling him. He figures Ollies favorite fucking arrow and Zatanna's favorite Barbie movie, he discovered Arthur favorite snack and how exactally Martha Kent made her fried chesse to give a perfect copy to Clark when he was missing Smallvile during a space mission. He discovered Barry's competitive pokemon team! Everyone on the JLA is freaked. They think he has a secret mind reading/guessing superpower he might not even know about but is just stalkish paranoia. The only person he can't figure things out (and it keeps he awake some nights) is Captain Marvel (he is still the first to discover Billy is a kid). Martian Manhunter is the only one that knows Bruce is just weird but he knows he has good intencions so he doesn't care.

And it isn't only with the League. He makes extensive background checks in all his kids friends. The Teen Titans (both Dick's and Damian's) are freaked out by it. The YJ is actually fine 'cause they are used to Tim and it makes sense Bruce would be like that. The Outsiders (both Jason's but also Cass and Duke's) make their personal quest to mislead him. Not to mention the civilian friends. He is less obvious about it but the kids know and it freaks them up. Steph has a serius discussion over bondaries the day Bruce asks about Crystal's dentist visit and Babs is annoyed af when he just knows things about Alysia. And not only the kids all the other batfam members! The Birds of Prey straight up told him to stop multiple times. Helena once asked Sage's help to trick Bruce, Kate just used Alfred to order him to stop. Barbara interceded in name of Montoya as if she wasn't even in the paranoid stalker game with Bruce and Tim (Babs is worse than Bruce actually). Jim Gordon thinks is cool actually. But Lucious Fox is just "kid, I love you, but Alfred needs to teach you bondaries" and "how did you know Tam's baby tooth was starting to fall before me??" (Yes Bruce does this stalker thing since he was a kid/teen)

He also does it with the Rogues. At first they don't notice it because it's normal that their oponent knows things about them but starts to get weird. Selina freaks out when Bruce tells her to say happy birthday for her cat n12 (Dollie, he called it by name) when she hadn't even introduced him to her cats yet. Riddler had a genuine breakdown when Bruce just gave him the exact perfect copy of his glasses prescrition and all to replace his broken ones during an interrogation (he needed Riddler's help against a copycat). Harley punched Bruce in the face after he correctly pointed out she had just started her period and offered heater packs for her cramps, a chocolate ice cream and some snacks while driving her to Arkham, Penguin stopped doing crime for a whole week after he had almost fainted (being a crime lord is hard) for not eating the whole day and having high blood pressure for stress reason and Bruce just gave him a snack, a bottle of water and his meds (except it wasn't his meds, Batman just had a pill of Penguin's prescription in hand and wtf), Scarecrow recomended him therapy when he somehow figure out Jon's favorite candy bar and tried to use it as a bargain for information, Joker felt very flaterred that Bruce not only knew that he made his own dye using two pre existing dye products and a mix of chemicals but had the formula including the recomended brands for everyhing.

The only person who had no reaction was Clark. Clark sees Bruce being a weird stalker as just a fact of life and no one knows how to deal with it. (It's better than Tim "I wanna be like that" and Babs "cool but I'm better " aproaches at least). Talia Al Ghul used to consider it impressive and have a flirty competition to see if Batman could figure details about her. After they stopped being an item they respected each other enough that he just stalks Talia if is related to Ra, crimes, Damian or the League.

good lord it has been forever since ive been able to write down my hcs for these sillies, and i have a whole bunch so i'll put it under le cut :)

-well versed in ASL, uses it in overwhelming situations

-sunglasses double as prescription lenses (i give this hc to basically all of the other dudes, but i think p1 would need glasses more than any of them)

-probably the smartest of the other dudes. essentially a polymath. if you ask him a question about almost anything, he'd probably give you a reasonable answer

-surprisingly good at drawing. does better with drawing portraits rather than full body. has a very scratchy and rough looking art style

-(technically canon bcuz of like, the war journal) writes in a journal (essentially a diary, but he'd rather die than call it that), mainly writes about his emotions and internal struggles, but sometimes writes about the other dudes and his experiences with them

-cannot go to sleep in silence. he's gotta have music on or some sort of background noise or else his mind starts to wander

-physically can't stay in one place without moving. whether it be rocking in place, tapping his foot, or shifting his weight from one foot to the other, he's always making some sort of movement.

-actually pretty friendly to those around him. he just has a pretty short temper, getting easily agitated by things (or people) around him

-besides p1, probably the skinniest of all the dudes. mans is all bones compared to say p4 or p3

-champ is his emotional support animal. he's been through a lot, and champ is basically his only refresher from the hell he lives in

-strangely flexible...can slip through fairly small cracks and corners easily

-has a LOT of vocal stims. this mf meows whenever he sees a cat. he makes random noises to himself. he repeats things that he hears others say

-got a surprisingly good amount of muscle on him. goes to the gym pretty often. definitely flexes whenever he gets the chance

-slight southern accent. very noticeable when he gets angry or when he talks fast. if you point it out to him, he'd probably get really embarrassed

-average r&b enjoyer. out of the blue, p1 once asked who luther vandross was, to which p3 gave an almost hour long lecture about the importance of r&b and why it's one of the best genres to date, why old r&b is miles better than new r&b, quizzing p1 on different artists, etc

-also an unironic country music enjoyer. he begs and pleads the other dudes to let him play just a little bit of johnny cash whenever he's offered the aux cord. maybe a bit of dolly parton. hell, probably some shania twain, if he's feeling bold.

-a fairly good singer. he's no freddie mercury, but to say he's horrible would be an overstatement. knows what songs are in his range, and which ones aren't. isn't really one to sing out loud in front of a lot of people, though. (one time, he sang to p1 in an attempt to calm him down during one of his moments. it worked, surprisingly :0)

-one of the happiest dudes. at this point in his life, he's not nearly as violent as the others (he still has his moments, of course, but he's not one to just spontaneously go ham) and just sorta accepts things as they are

-a genre GOD. this man listens to pretty much everything. his favorite genres are funk, nu-metal (or metal in general), pop, and r&b (he and p3 bond over their fav artists)

-while champ is basically an emotional support animal to p2, to p4, champ is more of a service dog. he's getting older, which means he isn't able to do things as easily as he used to, so champ is there to fetch things for him and in general, just help him with daily tasks

-very confident with who he is. he isn't embarrassed by the things he does. he takes pride in being different.

-doesn't give himself labels when it comes to sexuality or gender. it's not that he's against it, he just prefers the idea of being unlabeled. (though, i personally hc him as being pansexual and transmasc. you go grandpa.)

-DAD BOD. a fair bita muscle, though. he's pretty strong compared to the other dudes.

-has an array of random talents. one day he'll just start juggling randomly and be like "oh, this? yeah, i picked it up a few years ago. nothing to write home about, to be honest."

group of senior clinical psychologists have apologised for the role their profession played in the promotion of transgender ‘medical’ treatments to children in the UK following a damning report which found that such interventions were done on “shaky foundations”.

In a joint letter published by the left-wing Guardian’s sister paper The Observer, 16 unnamed “senior clinical psychologists”, including some who actually worked in the now-discredited Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) clinics that prescribed hundreds of children life-altering puberty-blocking drugs, said that their profession led the way in pushing children into such a direction.

“These were psychology-led services. Whether intentionally or not, and many were doing their best in an impossible situation, it was clinical psychologists who promoted an ideology that was almost impossible to challenge,” they wrote.

“It is also our professional body, the British Psychological Society, that has failed (despite years of pressure) to produce guidelines for clinicians working with young people in this complex area; and that, forced into making an official response for the first time, now minimises its own role in events and calls for ‘more psychology’ as the answer. We are ashamed of the role psychology has played,” the group added.

They said that what occurred at GIDS clinics was a “multi-factorial systemic failure” but said that those within the psychology profession should be “fully examined” and held accountable for the role they played, noting that many “failed to carry out proper assessments of troubled young people, and thus put many on an ‘irreversible medical pathway’ that in most cases was inappropriate; and who failed in their most basic duty to keep proper records.”

The admission comes in the wake of a National Health Service-sponsored report from leading paediatrician Dr Hilary Cass, which argued that the NHS should no longer provide puberty-blocking drugs to children under the age of 18, given that many of that their prescription was “built on shaky foundations”.

The Cass report went on to say there is little evidence to support the so-called ‘gender affirming’ claim that hormone-altering treatments improved children’s mental health and that there has been little investigation into the potential ramifications such drugs have on the “cognitive and psychosexual development” of the children as they age.

Additionally, it argued that because many children will naturally grow past feelings of gender dysphoria “for most young people, a medical pathway will not be the best way to manage their gender-related distress”.

A preliminary version of the report forced the NHS to order the closure of the Tavistock Centre and its controversial Gender Identity Development Service clinic, which served as the nation’s top transgender clinic for children. Cass argued that the treatments offered by Tavistock were “not a safe or viable long-term option” for children.

The clinic has long faced criticism over the apparent lax standards used to determine if children were displaying signs of transgenderism, with former governor of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, Dr David Bell, whistleblowing in 2022 to reveal that that staff would make such decisions based on flimsy evidence, such as if young girls failed to show interest in “pink ribbons and dollies“.

Last year, a re-examination of a 2011 study from University College London Hospitals (UCLH) and the Tavistock Centre — which claimed that there were no negative impacts of puberty blockers on the psychological function of 12 to 15-year-olds — overturned the initial claims, with University of Essex Professor of Psychology Susan McPherson and social scientist David Freedman finding instead that 34 per cent of children placed on puberty-blocking drugs saw their mental health “reliably deteriorate”.

While many in the United States continue to advocate for medical interventions for allegedly transgender children, there is a growing consensus in Europe against the practice, with progressive countries such as Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and the UK having all begun to restrict transgender treatments for children. Last month, a report commissioned by French senators asserted that providing children with life-altering transgender drugs will be remembered as one of the “greatest ethical scandals in medical history” and called for the practice to be restricted in France as well.

Fylass In Wonderland - Chapter Ten- A Chromatic Nightmare

The stairs were cold, even though Fylass was wearing shoes, they couldn’t help but feel a chilly feeling on their feet. Who knows how many steps the stairs had, but it felt like the darkness was consuming both Fylass and Dolly, until both of them saw a porcelain door, and had yet another thing written on chalk:

"Mirrors don’t reflect the inside, right?"

Fylass didn’t know what to say, so, they opened the door using the polished gold knob, and the other side let out a chilly air that revealed the area at hand. It was a hallway, with wooden grayish floor, cracked concrete as ceiling, walls with torn apart wallpaper resembling of an asylum, candles and dust to the sides, being the only things giving light to the area, and the most important thing; silver framed mirrors in each side and part of the walls that could fit.

"Best friend… This area gives Dolly a bad feeling…"

"...Glad to see I am not the only one…"

Both were reluctant to keep going, but they knew that this might be the only way towards the Card Castle, so they took their first steps towards the area, and soon enough, the door closed shut immediately, leaving an immense echo around.

"Ah! T-The door!" Fylass rushed to the door to open it again, only to find out that the doorknob was missing, making it impossible to open it, and even if it was, the door now seemed like it was painted on the wall.

"...Oh no…"

"Best friend! W-What do we do?!" Dolly said, scaredly.

"...The only thing we can seemingly do now, i-is to keep going, I guess… There should be another exit somewhere." Fylass said, trembling. "Let me take one of these candles, for us to see better where we are going…"

Fylass did as such, and grabbed Dolly’s hand gently for her not to be scared, even though both were, but Fylass couldn’t show it; at the end of the day, they never showed anything like that, but to themselves, and yet, when they crossed the mirrors, dread was oozing in this place, for Dolly didn’t have a reflection.

"U-Uh… Dolly, look in the mirror."

"...Huh? Dolly doesn’t see anything wrong…" Fylass was confused, since they can clearly see that Dolly doesn’t have a reflection, but Dolly doesn’t seem to realize; or is something else happening?

The silent journey kept on going, until they reached the end of the hallway, only to reveal that there was yet another hallway to go through, and sure enough, after that one, came another one, and it seemed the more steps they took, the more dreadful the area was becoming.

"Best friend… Didn’t we go through this hallway already?"

"...I don’t know… This place is a labyrinth…"

Who knows for how much time they kept on walking, maybe minutes, maybe hours, maybe days? Who is to tell? The moon nor the sun weren’t visible here, with the candles around being the only thing that kept the place lit, and even then, the candles seemed to shine less and less.

There was a point where both decided to turn back to see if they missed something, only to find out that the layout of the area behind them was completely changed, revealing another porcelain door that seemed to be able to be opened.

"Dolly! This might be the exit…!" Fylass said with a hopeful tone, and Dolly seemed happy as well, as the penguin opened the door, although, what was behind the door was everything but an exit.

The candles of the place were abundant, as the small room was revealed behind the door, with a black framed mirror on the other side of the door, above a grayish table with even more candles.

"...Nevermind, it isn’t an exit… Although… there’s something here… Come here." Fylass said to Dolly, as they entered the room, and Dolly did the same.

The room was cramped, so Fylass and Dolly had to be careful not to touch the candles and hurt themselves, as they approached the table, which had several medical prescriptions, whose contents were scratched out with a pen, only leaving one sentence on the back of one of them:

"I don’t need those things. I am fine… I am fine… I am fine…"

The date though, dated around nine months ago, seemingly the only thing that wasn’t scratched out.

Fylass seemed concerned, but their attention quickly turned to the other thing on the table, this thing being a red key, with a heart symbol on top.

"...Best friend, that’s the key to the gate of the Card Castle…" Dolly said, leaving Fylass even more confused than before, and that confusion quickly transformed into fear, when Fylass looked at the mirror, revealing a version of Fylass that looked the same as them, but without eyes in their sockets. Fylass screamed out of reflex.

"Best friend! What happened?!"

"T-The mirror! M-My eyes! I-I DON’T HAVE EYES! L-L-LOOK!" Fylass went towards the mirror to look in it again, but something different happened this time around, and Fylass noticed; the room also looked different at the other side of the mirror, it didn’t have a door, and instead, something written on chalk was in place: "You always like to stay blind."

"...Dolly doesn’t see anything, best friend…" Dolly said, transforming Fylass’s fear into paranoia, and then, a creaking sound was heard on the other side of the door, making both Fylass and Dolly panic, and the former, holding their new shears in their hand, just in case, and the latter kept the red key on her pockets, as the source of the noise slowly opened the door, and…

"Oh! Goodness gracious! I am sorry I couldn’t find you in time!" The individual said, as Fylass suddenly realized who was the one that was talking, having a checkerboard coat, Halcandrian ears, and trinkets that seemed to be typical lost things you would have at home.

"...Genesis…"

"Oh! You know my name! I apologize, kids. I-I should’ve been there to guide you towards the beginning! What are your names?"

"...Uh… This is Fylass…"

"This is Dolly…!"

"Sweet names! I am the guide of this place, Dull Glass! I am the one that guides people towards the exit.-" Genesis was saying, until they noticed Fylass’s eyes.

"...Wait… You are the Club…" They said, with a gloomy tone, but afterwards, they came back to their kind attitude seconds ago. "Oh! I am sorry, I should take you towards the exit. This place is basically my home, but even I know that it’s creepy…" Genesis said as they offered one of their six hands to Fylass. "Come on, let me get you out of here…"

Fylass was a bit nervous, but they trusted Genesis, since they were kind of a therapist to them, and even if they seemingly weren’t the same as the one they knew, they couldn’t be that different, right?

Dolly was about to accompany them, but another piece of paper from the prescriptions fell, revealing some text behind it that Dolly decided to read, as the other two left without noticing her:

"The Queen had me stuck for eons in this place. I don’t know how much time has passed, but I need to obey her orders. This place is a mortal trap, and the victims will be anyone that tries to stop her, so, that leaves the bearers…

Note to myself. Don’t follow the mirrors."

Dolly realized what this was implying, and quickly followed Fylass through to stop them from going further with Genesis. The outside of the room was completely new, resembling a more elaborated labyrinth, with a lot of black silhouettes of Fylass, that seemed to point to certain directions, and Dolly saw Fylass and Genesis going through the directions the mirrors were pointing towards.

"BEST FRIEND!" Dolly yelled to catch Fylass’s attention.

"O-Oh! Sorry Dolly, I didn’t know you weren’t following…"

"We need to get out of here, don’t follow that meanie!"

Colorful eyes :3

I bought some colored contacts and I've been really enjoying wearing them. So here I am talking about my experience with the 4 pairs that I got and my general rating of each.

Note: this company (Coleyes) apparently markets themselves as being designed for dark brown eyes. I do not have that eye color, my eyes are hazel, and tbh their website doesn't have very much on the fact that they're made for dark eyes. However, the box they were delivered to me in said it in holographic writing in multiple places, which made me look like a goofball to my family, who knows I don't have dark brown eyes.

So let's go through th3 looks I've tried and which ones I like the most! :33

1. Sailor Moon Kitty Violet

These were the first ones I ever tried on. I'd never tried contacts on before this, so please excuse my watery eyes. I liked that with my bunny hoodie I looked like a pink eyed rabbit, but I haven't worn these ones since because I'm afraid of coming off as too soft or something. I think it's just gender dysphoria. But they don't impair my vision and they look sick. I should wear them more.

7.5/10 (I need to get my money's worth out of these ones)

2. Dolly Eye Black

Ugh I love how these ones look which makes me so mad because I can't really wear them without my vision going blurry. I'm not entirely sure why, maybe they gave me prescription lenses by accident bc the pupil isn't really that small, but with my line of work I can't afford to not see. So I've only worn these twice, and both times I didn't wear them for more than a half hour.

3/10 (adorable if you don't mind not seeing)

3. Block Black

Gotten the most use out of this look so far. They give a similar-ish look to the dolly eye black without impairing my vision. My iris shows a little bit but I don't particularly care, it's not something that's even noticeable from a distance and if it is it just looks like a reflection. I got complimented the last time I wore them into work, got told I had fairy vibes by one client and told I looked like a squirrel by another. Squirrel fairy vibes FTW.

8.5/10 (scared my sister + freaked out my mentor the first time I wore these)

4. Block White

Haven't worn in both eyes yet but they are functionally identical to Block Black. I got the black and white specifically so I could create this look with one black contact and one white contact and it is as cool as I thought it would be. Absolutely thrilled with this one. The only downside is that this look is a little extreme for some, and I work with people. But I've worn it to work once and made friends with a client's kid so you know, depends on the person.

11/10 (this is my magnum opus. My ultimate look. The reason I GOT colored contacts. Thank u)

Lol so funny you asked. Dollie has committed crimes in the past. Most likely crime is theft and purchase of illicit substances (prescription meds). She’d most likely have gone to jail for the theft. But she blackmailed her way out of the one instance she got caught (coincidentally, also a crime).

Post-war… uh collusion? What with all the double-agent chaos she has going on.

🍾 Does your OC believe in luck? If so, do they have any charm or ritual they do before a stressful event?

Also a very good question for Dolls. She is extremely resentful when it comes to luck. With everything she’s been through, people often told her she was very lucky to have survived or been given the educational opportunities she’s been given, to have recovered her health etc. She doesn’t believe in luck. She gets very angry when people point to luck for her success. She works incredibly hard and has suffered and struggled to get to where she is. She gets very upset when someone chalks that up to good fortune. That’s one of the biggest sore spots she’s got. She will lose her cool on this one.
