His Girl
Plot: Dick Grayson has a type in women: athletic, feminine, and classy. However, the reader is completely different as she is plus-size, tomboyish, and spontaneous. But a conversation about Y/N between Dick and the batboys takes an unexpected turn one night.
Warnings: Language, Sensitive topics, and Fluff.
“What the hell’s up your ass?” Jason asks Dick, as he hands him a bottle of beer from the refrigerator in the Batcave. It was only until last week that Bruce gave in and allowed a refrigerator to be down there after the boys begged him for one.
As long as it was only for beverages, of course. Bruce had mentioned the boys have been eating too much junk food lately, but the boys knew deep down that his rule is simply for him, because of his age, and maybe for Y/N, too.
Y/N has only been with the Batfamily for a year since her family died at the hands of Two-Face. She had only started training with Bruce for two months now, and the two of them have been working out quite a bit.
Which makes sense of Bruce’s one rule for the refrigerator, though. But that hasn’t stopped Jason from sneaking in food anyways; mostly pizza and lunch meat and cheeses for sandwiches.
But now, Dick’s distant and silence is unbearable since the circus descent acrobat is usually excited and rambling about anything and everything.
“Uh, nothing! I mean...” Dick stutters. His behavior tonight was questionable to say the least. Usually, he would be on his game and even throw some wisecracks but he’s been awfully quiet, nervous even.
“Uh-huh, sure. Whatever you say,” Jason scoffs.
Dick sits on top of the hood of the Batmobile while he peels the sticky label from the beer bottle. He notices Tim and Damian walking out from the showers and are already dressed in sweatpants and t-shirts. Bruce is seated at the Batcomputer, still in costume but minus the cowl. Jason sits at the small table and sips from his beer and snacks on a triple meat and cheese sandwich he must have made quickly.
And Alfred had long gone to bed after Bruce forced him to get some rest since they’ve returned home and are not dead.
Dick suddenly notices Y/N must still be in the showers, on the other side of the cave for privacy where the guys can’t bother the girls.
“Fine...I’ve been...having these thoughts and dreams about Y/N lately,” Dick confesses. He notices Jason staring at him with a confused expression.
“Yeah, and…?”
“Well…lately, I’ve been thinking about her as…more than a friend. I’ve been seeing her in a new light. And you know I’ve always thought she was cool, and funny, and incredibly smart,” Dick continues, with a small smile. “But…I’ve never been sexually attracted to women like her before.”
Jason purses his lips and appears to think it over. “So, I don’t see the problem.”
“I just told you I’ve never felt this way about Y/N or any woman like her before.”
“Because you’re shallow.”
“I’m not shallow,” Dick argues, suddenly feeling defensive at Jason’s attack. “I just…I’ve never seen heavy women as hot, you know?”
“You can try to justify all that, but the point is, you’re shallow.”
“Have you ever slept with a heavy girl before, Jason?!” Dick snaps.
Jason chuckles and grins. “Actually, I have.”
“Bullshit,” Dick scoffs.
“Yeah, I have Dickie-bird. It happened three years ago, when my Outlaws and I kicked Black Mask’s ass. We went to a bar to celebrate in downtown Gotham. Roy and Star left early to go fuck or something. I was left alone and I was about to call it a night until this smoking hot woman took a seat next to me. She had long dark hair, tan skin, and curves that made my mouth water and my cock hard enough to pound nails. She was gorgeous, but there were these assholes around her and were calling her fat and telling her to leave because no one here would take her home. And do you want to know what I did?” Jason asks.
“What?” Dick asks quietly.
“I took her home, after I broke all those guys’ jaws. She was fucking amazing, man. She had a magnificent ass that she actually allowed me to spank. Her curves were endless, and after I fucked her good three times, cuddling and falling asleep with her was probably the best part of the night. I’ve never felt so…comfortable and felt warm, because I actually felt someone beside me,” Jason admits.
Dick raises an eyebrow at him. “Wow, I didn’t think something like that could happen to you, Jason. If anything, I thought you were shallow.”
“I used to be, until I realized I was judging others, when I was actually trying to have others not judge me. Alfred actually helped me with that. I don’t remember every word he said exactly but he said I wasn’t trying all the ice cream flavors out there. Like, I was always sticking to a certain flavor of ice cream, and I wasn’t trying other kinds, meaning I should be looking at all types of women. And after my one night stand with that magnificent woman’s ass, I realized bigger girls aren’t deal breakers; they’re just more to love,” Jason admits, and shrugs with a smug smile.
“That’s…I don’t even know what to say. But Y/N’s different. She’s someone we know and it makes it harder. And my problem isn’t that I’m shallow, it’s how I’m supposed to handle my feelings about her.”
“Yeah, you are, Dick. Y/N’s literally the best woman we’ve ever met. Hell, the best woman I’VE ever met. She’s fucking funny, she’s so caring and kind, she’s smarter than Timbo when it comes to common sense,” Jason lists off his reasons.
“That’s true! I’m not going to lie about that!” Tim interrupts from the distance.
“Y/N’s real, she doesn’t bullshit about anything like other girls. She’s honest, and that’s a rare thing to find nowadays. And fuck…she can really handle her alcohol, she can down shots of Fireball like it’s water,” Jason adds.
“You don’t think I know all that? Of course, I do! That’s why I’m having such a hard time dealing with my feelings for her. I’ve only ever been with tall, athletic women, who wear skirts and dresses, eats healthy, and are…well, feminine,” Dick confesses. A guilty expression shows on his face. “And Y/N’s not any of that. She’s really short, kinda chubby, and she’s more of a tomboy type, who’s loud and rambunctious, and eats like a man.”
Jason snorts. “And that’s a problem why? That’s why Y/N’s fucking awesome, man! I actually really like how she’s not afraid to be herself. She’s not fake. Do you know how long it took for her to be comfortable with all of us and be who she is rather than how she thought we expected from her? And I don’t know about you but I love how she eats, whenever we go out to restaurants, I actually like how I can eat the way I want and not feel like a fat ass because I know her and I both love what we love and fuck all who have a problem with that!”
Bruce turns around in his chair and gives both boys a warning look. Even Tim and Damian silently take a seat and watch closely.
“Fuck…Y/N is the perfect woman. She’ll always be in my eyes,” Jason admits, looking down at his beer longingly before taking a sip.
“If you feel so strongly about her then why haven’t you tried to go out with her or sleep with her?” Dick asks angrily.
Jason’s pause takes everyone by surprise. “Because she can do better than me.”
“You-you actually tried to get with her?” Dick stammers.
“Oh, yeah I definitely did. I think about a year ago. I had spent the summer with her here while everyone was busy with the whole Justice League and Superman bullshit,” Jason explains. “You were with the Titans with Tim and Damian. It was just me and her.”
“Alfred was there as well,” Bruce mumbles.
“Anyways, call it cheesy as hell like those romcoms, but we actually got really close. She’s a spitfire for sure, but she really knows how to get under your skin,” Jason chuckles.
Tim and Damian nod their heads in agreement with that.
“And I obviously made the whole situation uncomfortable as fuck because when I told her how I felt, she rejected me. She said we were too alike, we’d butt heads all the time. And after that, I never brought it up again.”
Jason’s confession gives Dick a sense of confidence.
“Look, if you want to ask her out and do all that then I support you. Just know if you fucking hurt her or do anything wrong, I’ll slit your throat even if you’re family,” Jason threatens seriously.
“I wouldn’t even know how to bring it up with her,” Dick says.
“Well, don’t bring up how her weight and appearance bothers you,” Jason says seriously.
“It doesn’t!”
“Okay. How did you ask Barbara, Star, Zatanna, and-”
“I get it, Jason. I’ll just talk to her and tell her I have strong feelings for her,” Dick interrupts him. “I’ll just tell her the truth.”
“You already did.”
That voice belonged to none other than Y/N. All the guys in the Batcave jerked their heads to the top of the stairs where Y/N stood and looked down with tears running down her cheeks. She was wearing her plaid pajama pants and a loose black t-shirt she stole from one of them a long time ago, she doesn’t exactly know who though.
Dick and Jason slowly stand up. Dick carefully walks over to the stairs while Jason cautiously follows.
“Y/N…” Dick whispers, already feeling guilty and nervous that she had probably heard everything. “Please listen to me…”
“WHY?! So, you can tell me you didn’t mean any of that, when you actually did. I thought you were different! I didn’t know you could judge someone like that! Especially someone like me!” Y/N yells. “I thought you were my friend!”
“I am your friend! Y/N, please give me a chance to explain! I really like you, and-and I was just trying to ask for help so I can talk to you!” Dick pleads.
“Don’t lie to me! You were only asking for help because you didn’t know how to deal with me being fat and manly! I’m sorry I’m not like Barbara and Star! I’m sorry I’m not beautiful and thin! I’m sorry I’m not perfect for you!” Y/N cries out and runs up the stairs.
“Y/N! Wait! Please!” Dick shouts for her. He chases after her.
By the time Dick reaches Y/N’s bedroom door, it’s locked. He can hear her crying, automatically feeling like shit for being the reason why she’s hurt.
“Y/N, please…” Dick tries again.
“Leave me alone, Dick!”
Dick swallows hard and forces himself to move away from her door. There was no use for him to stand there; he’d already broke her trust and possibly ruined their friendship. He might have even ruined his chances with her.
Jason approaches Dick. “Is she crying?” he asks.
“Yes,” Dick chokes out. He runs a hand through his dark hair. “Fuck, Jason…I don’t know what to do. She won’t even talk to me.”
“You should go, Dick. I think you’ve done enough.”
Dick was a little taken aback by Jason’s command. He pushes himself to walk away anyways.
“Bruce wants to talk to you. You should go find him before he finds you,” Jason adds.
Dick exhales heavily and leaves. Jason shakes his head in disappointment at him. He takes a deep breath and knocks on Y/N’s bedroom door.
“Doll, it’s Jay. Please let me in,” Jason says softly. “I just want to talk to you.”
He didn’t think she would open the door for him. He didn’t think she would want to talk to him even though he hadn’t pissed her off or upset her in any way. But Y/N unlocked her door and even opened it for him.
Jason was deeply heartbroken to see Y/N; her eyes were red and swollen, her cheeks were wet, and she had the devastating look on her beautiful face. He quickly walked into her room and shut the door, quickly locking it.
He had to be cautious though. He knew couldn’t say or do the things he wants to do with her right now. Instead, he slowly and carefully approaches her. She allows him to wrap his strong arms around her, bringing her closely to his body to hold and protect her from everyone and everything.
“Shh…it’s okay, sweetheart. I got you. I’m not going anywhere,” Jason whispers into her hair. He tries desperately to not inhale the addicting scent of her shampoo and lingering perfume so much. “You’re okay. Everything’s going to be okay.”
Y/N lifts her face from Jason’s chest and gazes up at him. The sight of her glistening eyes makes him draw her closer to him.
“What did I do wrong, Jay? What did I do to deserve all that? Is everything about me really bad?” Y/N asks softly, on the verge of tears again.
“No. No, don’t say that. Don’t say any of that! Nothing is wrong with you. You’re beautiful, Y/N. You’re perfect just the way you are,” Jason admits.
Y/N shakes her head in disbelief. It breaks Jason’s heart more when she tries to pull away from his embrace, but he refuses to let her go. His grip tightens and he holds her as if she’d disappear and leave him all alone.
“That’s not true, Jay,”
“It is true. Hell Y/N, you’re the most badass woman I’ve ever met. You don’t take shit from any of us. You’ve managed to stay here even after all the bullshit everyone has put you through,” he explains. He even chuckles at a memory. “You’ve even made Bruce cry, remember? Remember you called him out on his bullshit when he refused to train you? You’re almost a savage like Alfred, you even make Wonder Woman and Catwoman look like dollar tree prizes, and that’s no lie.”
Y/N looks down at her feet. Jason knows she still doesn’t believe him.
“You’re always perfect in my eyes, Y/N. There isn’t a goddamn thing I would change about you,”
“If I’m so perfect, then why does Dick think so low of me?” Y/N asks. She sniffles adorably and looks back up at him.
“Because he’s a fucking idiot who can’t see the best thing that’s in front of him,” Jason answers, and looks into Y/N’s eyes before he looks at her lips. “But his loss is my gain.”

Hello there! Can you write hcs for Tim with a reader who's Wally West's younger sibling please?
Tim Drake x West!Reader
Tumblr media
You don’t have super speed like your older brother
But you know all about his double life
You honestly keep your distance from it
Sure Wally was Kid Flash (or used to be)
But you still didn't want to meet other people or what not
It was because when you were younger, Wally told you that they k-worded the people who knew too much
Being older now you knew it was a joke
But you didn't want to test it
Even though he wasn't offically a superhero anymore
He still hangs out with this friends and everything
That's how you meet Dick Grayson
You know he's a superhero or something of the sort because he's friends with Wally
But you didn't try to find out his alter ego
One day Wally gets called for an emergency back to the cave
Only problem is that your parents aren't home
And Wally isn't sure how long he'll be gone
He can't leave you alone since you're a minor
So he isn't sure what to do with you
Until Dick gives him the idea to drop you off at the Manor
Even though you don't like the idea of being dropped off at a strangers house
Dick reassures you that his little brother is there and will keep you company
You want to complain and protest
But you see that Wally is at wit's end and then agree
Him giving you the biggest hug
"Thanks baby sis."
"Just bring me back a souvenier."
"You got it."
That's how you found yourself at Wayne Manor in Gotham City
After being haphhazardly speeded all the way there
And that's how you meet Tim
"Hi, nice to meet you, I'm (Y/N)."
"I know."
"You know?"
It's only then he notices the weird look you're giving him
"Oh, I'm not a stalker or anything. Just Dick told me you'd be coming home."
"Ah."
He shows you around the house and it's clear he's not sure how long you'd be staying there either
It's kind of awkward to be honest
You two have hardly a clue about each other
Luckily Alfred is there before things get too awkward
"Miss (Y/N), your brother tells me that you're quite the master at cheese viking."
Your eyes light up
"Yeah! I have the high score back at my hometown's arcade!"
"Master Tim quite enjoys playing Cheese Viking himself."
Alfred to the rescue indeed
You two end up playing Cheese Viking the entire day
At the end of the day you kind of forgot that you didn't have to go home
You spent the entire night together until Alfred said that it was time to bed
You let Tim pretend he was going to bed even though you knew he was going for patrol
"Well, be safe!"
"Hehe, why wouldn't I be safe? I'm just going to bed!"
You're surprised he thinks you'll believe that
"Sure..."
You spend the next few days together
Just nerding out
And Tim always has something new to do every morning
Even though Alfred has to coax him into it
Tim finds himself getting a slight crush on you
He tells himself it's just a summer fling kind of thing tho
And that he'll grow out of it after you leave
Cuz lord knows this never ending mission of theirs is a lonely endevour
Damian's words not his
You get really close during the time you spent together
When Wally's mission gets over he comes to pick you up
And you're upset you have to say goodbye to Tim
But you try and focus on the fact that Wally is safe and happily go home with him
You hadn't realized you were homesick until he came back home
You were so excited and relieved that you totally forgot to give Tim your number
You only realize a few days later and you're unsure how to contact him
You briefly wonder if you should ask Wally
But you don't want him to get upset
So you just suck it up
Dick meanwhile notices how his little brother feels a little down
"What's wrong Timmy?"
"Nothing..."
Dick tries to hide his smirk
"You know I have (Y/N)'s number right?"
"Really? I mean...uh...could I have it?"
To say you were excited to see a text from Tim was an understatement
Texting him non-stop for the next couple of days
Even calling and facetiming
Until Tim asks you on your first date
And you're ecstatic
One thing to mention is that Wally has no idea you two were so close
He's painfully oblivious
Artemis finds out when you confide about how nervous you are for the date
Promises not to tell Wally
Partly because you asked her to
And partly because she likes that you felt close enough to ask her
When Tim shows up at your house, Wally thinks it’s just for a playdate
Completely ignores the possibility of him being there to pick you up for a date
Even ignores the fact that he has flowers for you
Cuz he just thinks you’re too young to be dating
Even though he started dating Artemis about the same time
When he finds out though it’s like hell boiled over
You’ve never seen Tim intimidated but he just stares at Wally in fear as he’s tapping his foot on the couch
Your big brother is fuming because he caught you two kissing in your bedroom
Artemis and Dick are there but just smirking and waiting to see what he’ll say
“This!” He gestures between you two, “Is not happening!”
Before anyone can say anything you speak
“If you can have a robin then why can’t I?”
And boom
Artemis is laughing her ass off and both Dick and Wally are blushing
“I’m not dating Dick!”
“Oh really? Then the date nights you two have are a little weird don’t you think?”
Dick likes you so he’s definitely on your side
So is Artemis
Wally eventually relents but he doesn’t like it
Not until you get into a huge fight with Tim
And you’re at home sobbing your eyes out
And Wally goes over to his house to kick his ass
Only to see that he’s in a worse state than you are
Eyes red and puffy, hair all messed up and it looked like he was crying all night
And he realizes how much Tim really cares about you
So he convicnes him to make amends with you
And basically now treats him like a member of the family
And his blessing means a lot to you
And now you have a Robin of your own
“FOR THE LAST TIME I’M NOT DATING DICK!”
“WELL ALL THE FANFICTION SAYS OTHERWISE!”

#when i read about tim i often kind of come to the idea that he's relatively self centered#and that can be both a flaw and a strength#but he doesn't often consider other people's feelings and circumstances#like when dick made damian robin he didn't really consider the situation from anyone else's view#or in his origin story#he doesn't seem to consider how dick would feel about hearing how tim was affected by dick's parents' death#or with the spyral situation#or in regards to him earning robin#and its pretty consistent in fandom characterization even if a lot of writers don't seem to be aware of it#its interesting cause i think its something i think he has in common with bruce#its honestly a surprisingly consistent thing from what i see#and it can be a strength to#it can absolutely lead to some confidence and self actualization#as well as being able commit to fixing something and working hard at it#because you believe you can and don't think anyone else can/will do it via @emenerd
Y’know, what’s interesting to me about these points is the fact that like.....Tim having tendencies towards self-centeredness is actually something that COMPLETELY makes sense and can be quite sympathetic in light of his backstory of having neglectful parents.
In an age of armchair diagnosticians eager to label anyone who expresses a controversial viewpoint while centering themselves as an example, as like, having a narcissistic personality disorder (and with the loaded implication that this makes them a bad person even if its true, instead of just....having a disorder, yay weaponizable ableism) like, it can be important to add in distinctions that even tendencies that share overlap with a lot of things born of entitlement, etc....aren’t always necessarily proof of that.
For instance, in Tim’s case, an overemphasis on himself and his own position in situations and arguments can very reasonably be attributed as a coping mechanism he developed in an attempt to acknowledge and address self-esteem issues he sees himself as having, DUE to parental neglect.
Its not that he thinks he’s the most important person in the room, necessarily, its that he spent so many years not even being considered a person in the room, that now he OVERCOMPENSATES on his own behalf, in an attempt to remind himself that no, his opinion and feelings and situations do matter.....and because he like most of the Bat-characters has a tendency towards hyper-fixating on a problem they’re trying to address, this can also understandably create a kind of tunnel vision. Where he’s so busy focusing on what he’s diagnosed as an actual issue he has that he’s trying to address or make up for, in order to build up his self-esteem....that he neglects to keep everyone around him equally centered in his interactions with them, and remember that like, they have their own issues and ignoring that to focus entirely on his own runs the risk of negatively impacting them in the exact same way he’s still learning to cope with having been negatively impacted in his development as a child.
None of this makes him a bad person, or is stuff that can’t be addressed and developed just by paying the appropriate attention to it and his interactions.
SO the issue I tend to more often have....
Is with how often in fandom and fanon we hear references to Tim’s neglect and emotional abuse and how this impacted him.....much in the same way we see Jason and Cass and Damian and Dick’s various forms of abuse and the developmental impact it had on them....
BUT there tends to then be a disconnect, IMO, because that acknowledgment of the WHAT of Tim’s neglect and abuse and the HOW it hurt him.....isn’t often followed up by an examination/awareness of how it also SHAPED him.....at least, not compared to how discussions/fics about say, Jason’s abuse tend to point out the latter as much as the former.
And this is a big part of my gripe with the ways abuse is centered and tackled as a topic in fics and fandom discussions, because its so often capitalized upon as a defense or shield for a character from criticism, stuff like that.....without ever actually EXPLORING the topic itself, or the FULLNESS of the impact it can have.
But only in regards to some characters.
What I mean is like....we see a lot of focus on Jason’s childhood abuse, yeah? And this often is then connected through headcanons, meta and fics to various aspects of Jason’s characterization as a teenager, and as an adult as well.....with a tendency towards anger or violence, abrasive personality, etc. Don’t get me wrong, its usually presented as such in a SYMPATHETIC light, especially when raised by fans of Jason themselves.....but his abuse is very much present and centered in fics and discussions as something that not only impacted him and made him suffer, but something that actually shaped him to varying degrees as well....with a lot of focus then in fics of him as an adult, like, paid to him going to therapy and unpacking his childhood abuse in an effort to WORK on these aspects of himself that make his present day life harder or less healthy than he’d like it to be. The issue of how his abuse lent itself to various behaviorisms is raised in order to address various byproducts of his abuse as FLAWS that he seeks to eliminate, in order to make himself happier and make himself someone that people want to be around more.
And again, don’t get me wrong - for the most part, this is a GOOD thing. The caveat here is just a personal dislike I have for how often these narratives smack of a kind of saviorism, and act like it was only through the grace of Bruce and becoming part of the Batfam that Jason’s ever afforded the opportunity to better himself as a person. I dislike the hell out of this because it not only pairs all too well with a lot of classist shit, it feeds into the singular narrative we’re so often presented with by media about abused kids: the myth of the victim being destined to become a victimizer, it all being an inevitable cycle. The reason this myth is so easily perpetuated is the exact reason I’m so critical of the saviorism in a lot of abused-Jason fics.....people can very easily fall into the trap of assuming that abused kids are likely to grow up to be abusers because they never have anyone to TEACH them that abuse is wrong, or to lead by healthy example.
The harm of this perception is that it kinda throws under the bus every kid who never lucks out and gets a Bruce Wayne style savior swooping in to not only save them from their abusive environs, but TEACH them that they deserved better and that abuse is wrong.
Because its like, uh, the thing is, plenty of abused kids who never get a personal mentor or savior figure are fully capable of figuring out for themselves that they deserve better and that people hurting them is wrong, because it makes them feel bad and they don’t like that?
Many abused kids don’t grow up in a media vacuum where they simply have no access to glimpses of lives different from their own.....we see kids having happier, healthier family lives on TV or in books and are able to figure out that society overall thinks that’s what family is SUPPOSED to look like, and its ours that is the aberration?
The very fact that we’re taught or have it instilled in us by abusive parents that like, we’re not to bring up instances or examples of our abuse to teachers or friends, that its a SECRET, is like, usually a dead giveaway that there’s something WRONG with it that we’re being instructed - and enforced with abusive consequences - to keep from alerting others to....like, this is basically a blaring siren to a lot of us that no, what’s happening to us ISN’T normal and acceptable, and that’s literally WHY the parent we’re afraid of is so insistent on us keeping the facts of it hidden?
And so like, tons of abused kids figure out for ourselves the difference between right or wrong, based off nothing more than our own feelings about things and a desire to not be like the people who make us feel miserable - like, never underestimate the power of spite to like, keep a kid from growing up doing the same thing to others that was done to them, lol.
But point being, lots of kids never get a Bruce Wayne figure to take them away from their abuse and also teach them that they never deserved it and how not to pass the hurt forward by doing the same things to others. And its kinda condescending as fuck that we so often see narratives that take it as so obvious it barely merits commenting on, that like, ‘of COURSE abused kids grow up to become abusers if they don’t have someone else step in and show them a better way’....mmm, no. Fuck that. But you get what I mean.
So like, its a mixed bag. Its a good thing, to see Jason-centric stories that show him addressing his childhood and seeking just a more fuller, happier, healthier life for himself. Its a less great thing to see this narrative presented as all encompassing, with it never being raised that no, Jason actually could figure out he deserved better and how to treat people in ways he’d want to be treated even without a billionaire guardian angel.....NOT because the narrative wherein someone helps an abused kid figure out what was wrong about how they were treated is like, NEVER valid....but rather it just becomes a problem when looked at as a data point against the larger tapestry of fandom-wide works....and noticing that this specific narrative is pretty much the ONLY one raised or treated as valid. With it just being ASSUMED to be the natural course of events and characters, rather than just....the direction society overall has their perceptions of abuse steered towards due to a singular and constantly reinforced abuse narrative shown to us in media.
And the way this all plays back into my point about Tim and what took me down this road in general.....
Is that disconnect I was talking about, lies specifically in HOW Tim is often acknowledged and regarded as an abuse survivor due to his emotional abuse and neglect......with this abuse and its impact on HIM often taking center stage, much the way Jason’s abuse and its impact takes center stage in his narratives.....
BUT with a key difference being that while a lot of Jason’s narratives go on to denote the specific ways his abuse helped SHAPE him and his interactions with others, and raise and address the ways in which he can better himself and his relationships by unpacking all of this openly....
Most of the stories about Tim’s abuse/neglect tend to just STOP at the awareness of its existence and impact on him. Never taking it that one step further to examine how those specific forms of abuse could have additionally SHAPED him....in ways that sometimes negatively impact those around him and his own loved ones, even if this is completely unintentional on his part. The difference, the disconnect, lies solely in how rarely its ever acknowledged that Tim’s own upbringing can and does play directly into how he interacts with people later on in life.....and in ways that he’s fully capable of addressing and bettering himself so as to be happier and healthier just in his own life, and in his relationships, as someone others want to be around.
Aaaaand once you actually examine or consider WHY there’s this discrepancy between the full ramifications of Tim’s abuse and that which various siblings of his underwent, when there’s full agreement that what he did go through absolutely can be termed abusive as well....like, its the implications of what about Tim makes him more naturally resistant or whatever to being shaped by his abuse in ways that have actual negative impact on others in his life, whereas the same isn’t true of say, Jason.....that’s when the red flags start to go up for me, and the unintended subtext starts to get Less Than Stellar, IMO.
Anyway. Just food for thought on the subject of Tim, his upbringing, the various impacts this had on not JUST him but also on how he interacts with others, and ways in which all of this compares and contrasts with how the subject of abuse is raised and depicted in regards to other Batkids.

Prom Proposal
So @enchantingdefendoreagle requested, “I have a request I am hoping for a Daminette fanfic. Where since Prom is canceled that the Waynes have offered to host Gotham Academy Prom because Gotham Academy is under reconstruction or something. Damian has seen Marinette for a while having a crush on her but never saying anything. “
Note: I wanted to try pinning Damian and a lot of things happened... so I hope you enjoy.
Normally, Damian would never make such a big deal over a school event cancellation. He would shrug it off as if it was beneath him. Well, that was the case until the Joker decided to turn Gotham Academy’s gym into a playground until Batman and Robin removed him from the premise. However, there was an absolute reason as to why this event had affected him so much. For a while now, Damian was actually looking forward to the annual prom dance. He was actually going to participate in said event, but the one person he was trying to ask to be date—they haven’t really spoken to one another outside of class assignments.
“Father I demand that we host prom.” Damian urges barging into his father’s office the second the school email about prom’s cancellation went to the students. What Damian didn’t account for was Grayson being inside the office as well.
“Hold, Little D. Why would you of all people even want to B to host prom? You didn’t go last year so why the sudden change.” Dick wonders at his little brother. So yeah, Damian didn’t go his junior year but once again this year is different.
With Damian being silent for a moment was all it took for Dick to realize something, “Is it for a girl…a boy maybe?”
“Tt. I have my reasons.” Damian counters crossing his arms and turning his attention away from his brother to his father, who appears to be done with everything going on.
“Damian, do you really think that having the manor full of teens is a good idea?” Bruce asks concern about his son’s mental health, but he too was wondering why the sudden change in attitude for one of many iconic moments in a teenager’s life.
“There is no reason father,” Damian says lying through his teeth. There was a reason, but he doesn’t want his family to find out about said reason.
Dick nor Bruce seemed convinced, but a simple quick look to one another, they knew getting an answer out of eighteen-year-old would be a battle they didn’t want to have.
“I’ll consider it.” Bruce states practically agreeing to his son plans to have prom at the Manor just like any other Wayne Gala he has hosted before. The only difference would be teens instead of adults.
It only took Bruce Wayne three days to send an email to the academy, offering to host prom night at Wayne Manor. The headmistress took that offer immediately know that there will be backlash for not accepting such a proposal. Two days after that, the school sends out emails informing the students that prom will be hosted in two months having it right on schedule. Those who order prom tickets will receive further information closer to the date.
After getting his father on board with the thought, Damian was internally excited, now just to put his plan into action. That plan over two months failed at least five different times.
The first attempt, in the classroom right after class was finished. He knows that she’ll usually stay in the class until everyone is out. Well, that didn’t happen. She was the first person out, running like her depended on it.
The second attempt was at the courtyard, a couple of days after the first attempt. Damian knew (well he asked Jon) that she had a tendency to sketch under the largest tree during the evening. He also knew that they shared the same independent study times due to having worked on projects together. Just as he was about to ask her, another student walked up to her. The bluenette, from afar, seemed to be interested in the conversation. Damian ended up walking away hoping to try again later.
The third attempt was almost a success. He was actually talking to her, but the words would not come out the way he had hoped. This just added to his stoic personality that she was used to. Then right before he finally mustered up the confidence, a girl with pigtails interrupted them implying that she only wanted to talk to Damian. Apparently, pigtail girl wanted to ask Damian to prom and he of course denied the proposal.
“You need, help?” Jon asks on the day before Damian could attempt his fourth go.
“Tt. I rather suffer.”
Jon raises an eyebrow, “Uh-huh. She’s in the art room.” Jon walks away with a smirk on his face. Damian could only glare at his retreating friend.
Sure enough, Jon was right, she was in the art room. However, it was clear that she was in the zone. A zone that is nearly impossible to get her out of.
“DC, can we talk?” She doesn’t acknowledge him. He tries again a couple more times. Damian should have known better. They barely speak when in class, so why the hell would they speak out of class.
“How it go?” Jon asks as he smiles knowing exactly how the encounter went.
“Kent, you could have told me she was in the zone.” Damian lightly punches Jon in the shoulder. “Do you have any idea what she’s working on?”
Jon chuckles and instead of answering he goes inside the art room. Damian couldn’t help but wonder about what they are doing.
The fifth attempt was really his own attempt. In fact, it was the girl he has been trying to ask out that ended all of his sufferings.
Damian was been avoiding practically everyone in the challenge to ask this one person to prom. Every potential idea was either scrap or too out of character for him—not that he was out of character trying to ask her in the first; he’s blaming it on this unknown emotion that has been haunting him since he had gotten to know DC. What makes matter worse is that prom was only a couple of weeks away.
“You’re going to love this.” Jon states dragging the Wayne heir across the school grounds. Damian put up a fight but Jon inhuman strength kind of won the battle. So, he was trapped in his best friend’s grip being to who knows where.
The next thing Damian knew was being stopped in his tracks and seeing black with little rays of light coming through Jon’s hand.
“Kent, I swear—”
“Yeah, yeah, just stay with me for a second.”
“A second.” Damian deadpans crossing his arms over his chest.
Damian may have not seen it but Jon was rolling his eyes and whispering some words to someone.
“Okay, in three…two…one!” Jon’s hand immediately uncovers his face. Damian was seconds away from turning to attack his friend, but something red, green, and yellow catches his eyes.
There standing in front of him, is the girl he’s been trying to ask out wearing a female version of the current Robin’s outfit holding a sign that says, “A Robin with a sword would be troubling, but a Robin without a sword wouldn’t be complete. Will you go to PROM WITH ME?” To the side of her is a try of Batfam theme cupcakes.
“Dupain-Cheng, you never cease to surprise me,” Damian states feeling a little stupid that he was worrying for nothing. “Yes, I’ll be your date to prom.”
“I know and do you have any idea how hard it was to pretend that I wasn’t interested.” Marinette awkwardly chuckles
“What?”  Now he was confused. Hold on…pretending? Damian couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “You knew?” He accused Jon who simply shrugs and takes a cupcake like it was nothing.
“Seeing you two pinning over one another was the highlights of my day. Mari was always in a panic when she tried to talk to you but there was always someone in the way, and you panicking like it was the end of the world. So yeah, I needed my own fun with all of this.” Jon answers before taking a bite out of the cupcake.
Marinette and Damian eye one another before smirking.
Legend has it that Jon’s screams of terror echoes throughout the school.
Fast forward to prom night, the Wayne family finally understood why Damian wanted to have prom at the Wayne Manor. The moment they saw the girl he was escorting—Damian had taken the car earlier that evening without a word to his family—they were all shook. Dick was squealing saying that the little bird finally found someone. Tim wasn’t sure what was going on aside from the flashing lights. Jason knew that girl and went into overprotective brother mode (that was not for Damian). Bruce wanted to cry but he had to keep up an image. Alfred had taken photos of the couple—those did not see the light of day until the wedding.
All in all, the family was pleased to see Damian being happy with the girl as they dance the night away.

Red ‘n Blue
another one-shot in a wider au- in which robin and superboy meet for the first time (set near the beginning of reign of the supermen, in this au not long after damian wayne meets his father)
Sunday 5th November 1989
[Palisades Avenue, Metropolis, DE]
Tim’s never been in Metropolis in person before, which is far from ideal.
Obviously, he’s looked at maps and pictures- he’s not an idiot- and he’s fairly confident that he could navigate the main streets. There are plenty of signs on the ground after all.
Unfortunately, Tim is neither on a main street nor on the ground.
He’s on a cold and miserable rooftop, somewhere rather far from where he stowed the bike he shouldn’t be riding between cities- between states- after dark, but hey, that’s just life.
It had been a spur of the moment idea, coming to Metropolis- an idea Tim had had (purely coincidentally) after a phone call from Bruce, reminding him that patrol tonight was cancelled.
(Tim hadn’t heard anything to suggest that he was there but had been fairly fucking certain that Damian had been smirking somewhere nearby.)
(Tim had also very carefully not thought about how this was the third time Bruce had either cancelled on him or brushed him off since his son had come to America. He had also very carefully ignored the burning feeling in his chest at the thought- such things didn’t bear further investigation.)
It had been a spur of the moment decision which Tim might be starting to regret, just a little bit.
One would have thought that there would be plenty of crime to stop here, considering what had happened to Superman a few weeks back. (Rest in peace, Big Blue.)
One would have been wrong though, because Metropolis has been cool and quiet and melancholic so far, and altogether very lacking in the crime department. That’s good obviously- great even- but if Tim doesn’t find an outlet soon he’s going to start fucking screaming.
He’s just a tiny bit on edge, recently.
He wonders why.
Tim makes the leap to another rooftop, peers down over the side with disinterest- a darkened movie theatre, shutters drawn, and doors locked. Just like every other building around here seems to be.
(Would Gotham do the same for Batman?)
“Nice costume, dumbass,” says a nearby voice, and Tim whirls, heart thumping and staff in hand.
There’s a boy- only about his own age- floating (actually floating) by the edge of the roof, arms crossed and face unimpressed.
Tim’s eyes skitter around, desperately trying to find some inspiration for a plan. His gaze catches on the bright insignia just visible under the boy’s leather jacket.
Tim blinks. Surely this isn’t…
“Superboy?”
The boy huffs, annoyed. “No, I’m the new Superman.”
Tim eyes the boy’s messy hair and very young face and snorts rather rudely.
Normally he would feel bad- Robin has faced similar disbelief in the past- but Tim hasn’t been in the best of moods lately.
“Sure thing, man. Whatever you say,” says Tim, and the boy’s face twists.
“Yeah, and who the fuck are you?”, he spits, and Tim scoffs, feeling like an absolute asshole and enjoying it.
(And if he’d much rather direct all this vitriol at a certain assassin-in-training rather than a complete stranger, then that’s no one’s business but his own.)
“Robin,” says Tim, as if it’s perfectly obvious.
“Uh-huh,” says Not-Superboy. “Don’t you have a gargoyle to be standing on or something?”
“Don’t you have kittens to be saving from trees or something?”
Not-Superboy floats closer, mouth opening in response.
And then there’s an explosion from down the street.
Tim stumbles badly, is saved from tipping off the roof by Not-Superboy himself, who looks more than slightly dazed.
“Thanks,” says Tim quickly, before taking off towards the smoking crater which used to be a building.
Finally, finally, something to do, to investigate, to-
After a moment Tim realises that he seems to have acquired a shadow.
He slants a hard look at Not-Superboy, who takes this as an opportunity to grab his arm and yank him to a halt.
“What the fuck man?”
Hot, simmering, rage is starting to build in Tim’s chest.
Not-Superboy frowns at him. “What are you doing?”
“My job? What’s it look like?”, Tim snaps, and Not-Superboy rolls his eyes in response.
“No, you’re gonna stay here, out of the way.”
“And why’s that?”
“‘cause you’re just a kid?”
Oh hell no.
“Oh yeah?”, Tim’s ears are burning, and he finds himself stretching up- because the bastard’s still floating like a complete dick- into Not-Superboy’s personal space. “You’re pretty fresh-faced yourself, bud.”
Not-Superboy throws his hands out from himself in frustration. “Yeah, but I’ve got superpowers. You’re just a civilian with a stick and a cape.”
Tim would very much like to smash said stick into someone’s face right now.
It’s at this point that the cause of the explosion decides to make itself known; a huge, spider-like, machine of gleaming silver trundles its way out of the wreckage and into the street, headed towards what Tim thinks is the city centre.
Not-Superboy lets out a harsh breath. “Fine. I don’t have time for this- if you get yourself killed, that’s on you.”
He shoots off after the machine, and leaves Tim standing there, fuming.
A civilian with a stick and a cape.
That’s a fucking challenge right there, in Tim’s book.
He unholsters his grapple gun and zips ahead of the metal spider-thing, mind already whirring with plans and ideas.
If he creates a blockade up here, that’ll hopefully limit collateral damage and buy him more time to shut this thing down before it gets to somewhere slightly livelier.
Tim squints at the scene behind him- the silver thing is still making its way towards him, seemingly undeterred by the colourful shape floating alongside and hammering dents into it.
Tim rolls his eyes, before snapping back into professionalism.
Assess the situation, Robin.
It’s got spidery leg things, that’s for sure, but the machine is actually trundling along on thick caterpillar treads, which gives Tim an idea.
Out of his belt he pulls the largest and hottest flares he owns, and chucks them at two faded patches of road, roughly around where the treads will run over them in several moments’ time.
Hopefully, the tar should start to melt around there and stick to the treads for a few minutes until Tim can stop this thing permanently.
Tim jumps from the roof, swings himself onto the back of the spider with his grapple and a well-placed girder, and starts poking around for a weak spot.
A vent, an escape hatch, any gap in the armour.
Tim narrows his eyes at a tiny space next to a panel of some sort and unceremoniously wedges the end of his staff into it.
Levering a panel that doesn’t want to move is easier said than done- even more so when one is on the back of a trundling monstrosity and in danger of being flung into the street at the next sharp turn.
Tim glances up and catches Not-Superboy’s eye, who has stopped whatever it was he was trying to accomplish and is instead staring at Tim in askance.
Tim jerkily beckons him closer with his chin, not letting go of his bo staff for a second.
Not-Superboy drifts over and yanks the cover up with relative ease- that fucking show-off- and Tim slams the end of the staff into the revealed circuitry over and over until it sparks.
It’s inelegant, but it generally works.
Some of the spidery legs rise up and twist around on themselves in an admittedly very impressive display of dexterity before one of them shudders violently and pierces the shell of the machine with a horrible scraping sound.
The vehicle judders then- once again Tim nearly falls and has to be steadied by the floating dumbass- and slows its steady trundle forward.
Tim glances around and realises that they’ve driven over his melted asphalt and mentally pats himself on the back.
Not-Superboy has landed at long last and is currently stomping on the shell with one foot. Tim wants to ask him what the fuck he’s doing, but it becomes obvious as soon as one stomp makes a slightly different sound than the others.
He’s found another weakness.
This panel is also ripped off with sickening ease, though this time Not-Superboy goes, “Ha!” and reaches in.
Finally showing some sort of effort- see how it feels motherfucker? – Not-Superboy uses both hands and starts levitating again to pull out a full-grown, wriggling, man dressed in various shades of grey and not in the least bit pleased about the current state of affairs.
The man breaks free and takes a swing at Not-Superboy who dodges it, and Tim decides to delegate that particular task to him and instead focus on turning off the whatever-the-fuck’s engine, as the whatever-the-fuck is still slowly inching forward and may or may not have some form of explosive on board.
Tim drops down through the hatch and into the cabin. There are a whole load of monitors and wires and stupidly complicated-looking panels in here, so Tim takes a nice, deep, breath and compares it all to the most complex machine he can think of- the Batcomputer.
Tim knows how to turn the Batcomputer off- he pictures it in is head, the flickering lights, the hum and whirring of machine parts, the button sequence required to switch it all on and off.
And then he slices as many wires as he can with the side of a Batarang until all the lights go out and the ground stops shaking.
Never fails, that one.
Tim clambers up on the ladder back to the top and peeks his head out strategically.
Not-Superboy is still struggling with the man, taking a glancing blow to the arm and being knocked back surprisingly far.
Tim decides to not be an asshole about this and creeps up on the pair.
He kicks out the man’s legs and Not-Superboy takes advantage and socks him in the jaw with an audible cracking noise.
The man crumples, out cold.
For a moment, neither of them say anything, just catching their breath.
Then Tim says, “Do you wanna call the cops?”
“…yeah,” Not-Superboy decides. He hesitates then, “Do you have, I dunno, zip ties or something?”
Tim nods.
“Cool- back in a sec.”
Tim watches Not-Superboy dip down to ground-level, making a beeline for the nearest phone-booth.
Tim rolls the man over with some difficulty and cuffs him like Bruce taught him to. He predicts then and there that Bruce will have called him by midday tomorrow about this whole thing and a part of him lights up with a savage kind of pride.
Not-Superboy is back then, staring up from the ground with an unreadable expression.
Tim raises an eyebrow and nudges the man’s unconscious form with his boot. (Lightly, because he isn’t a complete ass and is feeling a great deal more vindicated than earlier, for some unknowable reason.)
“You gonna help me with this or not?”
Not-Superboy’s face crinkles. “Huh?”
“We’re not leaving him on top of this thing, dumbass,” says Tim, with significantly less venom in his voice than earlier.
“Oh, uh, yeah,” Not-Superboy blinks, and Tim rolls his eyes, dragging the man to the edge by the armpits.
Not-Superboy takes him then and Tim hops down to the ground, surveying the scene. He decides that this is a victory for Robin on the collateral damage front and awards himself bonus points for managing it on someone else’s turf.
There are already police sirens in the distance, and Tim blinks.
“Huh. That was quick.”
“There’s a precinct a couple of blocks over,” says Not-Superboy matter-of-factly.
“Ah.”
Tim grabs his grapple again and decides that the top of the movie theatre looks promising.
“Wh-where are you going?”
Tim shrugs, cocks his head slightly. “I dunno how you do it over here, but back home we don’t tend to stick around for the cops too often. Vigilantism, and all.”
“Oh.” Not-Superboy seems to consider this for a moment. “Alright, I guess.”
Tim salutes him and zips up to the rooftops again.
He makes it all of ten seconds before a voice calls after him, “Wait a sec!”
Tim obligingly waits a sec and is only kinda exasperated to see Not-Superboy floating up to him. (Again.)
Not-Superboy rubs the back of his neck and doesn’t quite look at Tim when he says, “Thanks, I guess. I mean, I had it covered, but it was nice of you to stick around, so, uh, thanks.”
Tim nods, not quite willing to unbend yet.
“Am I still just a civilian with a stick and a cape?”
Not-Superboy winces. “Yeah-uh, that was maybe kinda shitty of me and, uh, I guess I was wrong. So sorry about that.”
It’s definitely not the best apology in the world, but Tim’ll take it.
He shrugs. “It’s okay- I was kinda a dick earlier, so we’re even.”
“Cool.”
“Cool.”
“Where’re you going now?”, asks Not-Superboy.
Tim rolls his shoulders. “Home, I guess. Just gotta find my bike first.”
“Bike?”
“Yeah? I mean, I hardly walked here from Gotham, did I?”
“Guess not.”
There’s a beat of silence, before Not-Superboy glances around furtively.
“Is he here?”
Tim blinks. “Is who- oh, you mean Batman?”
Not-Superboy nods.
“No,” says Tim, and he decides not to elaborate on that.
“Alright,” Not-Superboy’s shoulders relax a little. “Where’s your bike?”
“In the alley next to some diner back that way,” Tim gestures vaguely behind them.
“Lou’s?”
Tim squints, tries to remember. “…maybe?”
“Oh my god.”
Not-Superboy’s rolling his eyes but his tone is light, so Tim doesn’t feel too offended. He drifts back a few feet, gestures that Tim should follow him.
“C’mon- I don’t think Gotham will ever forgive me if I leave Robin stranded over here.”
Tim snorts but follows anyway.
Tim’s bike is stowed neatly in the alley next to Mary-Anne’s diner, as it turns out. Not-Superboy stares at it for a few moments, eyes starry.
Tim grins. “Her name’s Redbird.”
“She’s gorgeous,” says Not-Superboy, sounding as if he means it.
Tim nods. “Yeah, she is.”
“You know your way back, right?”
Tim rolls his eyes. “Dude.”
Not-Superboy grins, honest and open. “Just checking, man.”
Tim swings his leg over Redbird, settles down and brings the engine to life.
He looks at Not-Superboy, who looks much friendlier than he did earlier.
“Thanks again,” says Tim, meaning it. “This was fun.”
Not-Superboy shrugs, but he’s still smiling. “Yeah, it was a lil bit. See you around?”
Tim nods. “See ya.”
He shoots off into the night then, feeling much lighter than he did on the trip in.
(He gets to school by lunchtime the next day, waves a forged doctor’s note at the necessary people and doodles in the margins of his notes until the final bell.
Bruce is either busy or getting old- he doesn’t call the house phone until 6pm. Tim lets it go to voicemail, grins a little as he listens to it over dinner, despite himself.
Bruce is disgusted, Tim is benched until the weekend, and somehow he’s not quite as upset as he thought he would be.
Funny, that.)

Being a Wayne and Dating Peter Paker Would Include:
Tumblr media
*gif belongs to spiderling-parker*
Author’s Notes(s): hey cuties! Someone requested this a while ago and I completely forgot that it was in my drafts. Just a side note requests are closed! See my latest post for more info xx
Summary: You just so happen to be dating Peter Parker, but what happens when your freakily overprotective brother’s find out?
Warning(s): swearing and fluff
Being a Wayne and Dating Peter Parker would include:
so like
we all know that the Wayne’s have been through some tough shit
So y’all are really closely knit
That being said, you have four really overprotective brothers who would do anything to stop you from dating.
PsSh
That never stopped you honey ️
So let’s say, you’ve been dating Peter for around a year.
He’s never been to your house or even met your family bc you know™️ he wouldn’t last a second around your brothers
“(Y/N)? Why haven’t I met your family? Don’t you think it’s kinda weird?”
“Peter honey, if you value your life, you won’t ask questions.”
One day his curiosity gets the best of him and he ends up at your address.
Big mistake™️
Curiosity killed the cat bro
Unfortunately for him, you’re not the one who opens the door.
So smol bby boy peter’s quaking in his boots when short stack Damian appears at the door with a scowl on his face.
“Who the fuck are you?”
*in the distance* “Damian don’t fucking swear”
“JASON GOD DAMMIT, DAMI WHOS AT THE DOOR??”
So then Jason, Dick and Dami are all at the door and poor bby Peter kinda stutters out a response.
“Uh hi, I’m peter. (Y/N)’s boyfriend”
LOLOL
Before anyone knew what was happening Damian’s launching himself at Peter who kinda does his spidey thing and backflips into a tree or some shit
And Jay + Dick who are holding Dami back are kinda like wtf
They accidentally let go of their younger brother who’s basically barking up a tree at your almost sobbing boyfriend
And Tim kinda just walks up to the front door with a coffee in hand
Takes one look at the situation
Sips his coffee
And goes back inside bc a bitch ain’t involved
So that’s how Peter met your family.
Dick Grayson:
the nice brother™️
would probably try to suppress his other protective brother mode
would lowkey be the biggest shipper ever
When dick meets peter it’s probably like:
       - “oh (Y/N) he’s so cute!!”
       - “LoOK at hIM heS adorABle”
Peter doesn’t know whether he should be scared or he should be relieved
Dick totally supervises your dates
Or tries to
He’ll probably be sitting at the back of the cafe you’re in and Peter points him out like
“Uh... M-mr Grayson we can see you”
*face palm*
Probably holds hands with you both after that.
Finds you and peter’s relationship very cute
Sometimes you wonder if he’s the one dating Peter
They’re always on ‘friend dates’
Probably been on more dates with Peter than you have
“Dick buddy, I’m gonna need my boyfriend back”
“You can’t separate us sis, this is true love”
Jason Todd:
the cool brother™️
probably gives the “if you hurt her, I’ll find you talk”
He’ll like, take Peter to his weapons room or something and be like “see this baby here, she’s my favourite. First time I shot right through some guy’s skull”
And you’re just there with rolling eyes like “oh my god Jason”
And poor Peter would be so shook™️
But you’d be all cute holding hands and brushing your fingers over his knuckles to calm him
Jay would gag
You’d get to a particular weapon and Petey would point to it “Natasha has that”
“Natasha as in, the, blackwidow?”
And Peter would look at you with a confused gaze and you’d shrug as he nodded to Jason
Jason would scream™️
Blackwidow fanboy at your service fam
He’d go on regular trips to see the  avengers  with Peter just to meet Natasha
Would probably cry
He’s really chill after that tbh
Would probably regularly take you and Peter for ice cream
Does not enjoy watching you guys suck face
Pretends to throw up most of the time
“If you guys kiss in front of me one more time I’ll probably die for the second time”
Tim Drake:
The fanboy brother™️
I feel like Tim probably knew you were dating someone he just didn’t know that it was the sPidErMaN
Probably did a whole background check on Peter before he even got to the front door.
He’d be the only brother who’s actually nervous to meet your boyfriend
So before pete even opens his mouth, Tim’s just spewing information about him like
“Peter Benjamin Parker. Age 16”
“Born July 1st, favourite colour blue and -“
“Tim... Tim you’re scaring him”
“Right sorry”
You’d leave for like a brief second to grab a drink and when you come back they’re both nerding out over tech
It’s actually adorable seeing both of your boys getting excited over Peter’s webshooters and stuff
You totally don’t take pictures
On the nights you’d have dates Peter would show up like two hours early just to sit with Tim and talk about Wayne and Tony’s tech
Call it a gossip circle if you will
“Oh hi Petey! I wasn’t expecting you for a little while-“
“Yeah, I’m here to see Tim?”
-_-
Like Jay, I don’t think he’d appreciate you guys’ PDA
he’d probably be fine with it after a few shots of espresso
Damian Wayne:
The intimidating brother™️
First of all, let’s get this straight.
He won’t admit it, but Dami adores you. He loves you more than anything.
As his older sister, you’ve always been there to protect him. You made him feel at home.
So in his mind, Damian basically lives to protect you. He views you as the only pure thing in this world and would do anything to preserve that.
You’ve had your heart broken before and Dami hated to see you go through such a heartbreak
So forgive him for being a little overprotective
Hahaha
Did I say little? I meant a lot
When he first meets Peter, shit hits the fan.
He just doesn’t like the way Peter holds your hand so confidently and tbh he really wants to rip it off.
He does everything he can to deter Peter from dating you but for some reason it’s not working
But he can tell he’s wearing away at Peter
Then one day your boyfriend asks to spar with dami
And you, Tim, Dick and Jay all share a look
So both boys start getting ready to spar and Dami takes it a little more seriously
Peter’s reflexes are much quicker though, since he’s spidey and all so that pisses your younger brother off
so he starts getting angry
Suddenly, it’s not sparing anymore and instead it’s literally peter fending for his life as Damian tries to kill him.
So you scream.
And everyone drops everything and you kinda run off with Peter hot on your heels.
You completely shut down on both of them bc two ppl you really cared about almost hurt each other
Peter shows up at the Manor one day, looking for Dami who almost slams the door shut when he sees your boyfriend
And he’s like “look, I don’t know why you hate me but you mean so much to (Y/N) and I know how much it would mean to her if we got a long, she speaks so highly of you and I just- I want to get to know you.”
And Damian’s like shit, because he doesn’t hate Peter, he never did. He was just scared of losing you to heartbreak again.
“I didn’t hate you, in fact I find you quite um” *struggles to say the word likeable*
“Likeable?”
“No that’s too strong a word”
And Peter just smiled bc even though he won’t admit it, he knows that Damian doesn’t mind him.
Extras:
Never being allowed to go up to your room alone
one of your brothers are always watching.
Always.
The boys will literally freak out if Peter has even onE tiny bruise. They always think it’s a hicky.
“wHaTs wRonG witH yoU (Y/N)??”
“What did I do?”
“I can’t believe you, tainting Peter’s innocence like that”
“OH MY GOD JAY THE BRUISE IS ON HIS LEG HE FELL DOWN THE STAIRS”
At least one of your brothers third wheeling on dates
It’s mostly Dick
They’ll literally hold hands with you guys and sit at the table at restaurants
When you go to the cinema they all wanna sit next to Peter bc apparently you talk too much during movies
The boys waiting outside of school for flash when they find out he’s been bothering Peter
Everyone hanging out in the bat cave to talk about “manly things” when really they’re just gossiping about girls
You totally don’t try and spy on these
It totally doesn’t work rIP
Your brothers have a mental break down when you and Peter get into a fight
They act like you guys are divorced parents
Will do anything in their power to get you back together again
You probably already have tbh
You just like watching them freak out over you guys
Overall you all have a really good relationship
Peter is the first boy you’ve ever loved
And you’re really happy that your brothers like him. It means a lot.

Back with another request! Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love writing Wally x Batsis!! Hopefully, this is alright for you! Thank you so much for sending this prompt in and I really do hope you enjoy this! Trying to go through requests still so posting might be slow! (Also I am trying to see if I can complete at least two-three requests per day so I can go through the requests nicely!)
Wally wrings his hands as he tries his hardest not to bolt out of the room. He never really thought this day would come, sort of. Actually, Wally also never thought he would last this long with you – his relationship with you had been a rocky one but Wally has never been one to give up on who he loves and you being the stubborn person that you are has managed to wedge yourself completely deep in his heart and Wally knows he is never going to be able to let you go – at least not anymore.
“Is there a reason you ask for this meeting?” Bruce stares at Wally and Wally almost lets out a curse – deep down inside, he knows Bruce knows why he is here – he probably already knew about this meeting even before Wally decided to come see him. When Bruce shifts, Wally tenses slightly before clearing his throat.
“Well – yeah – uh, Sir.” Wally used to be able to talk easily (read: run his mouth off) with Bruce before but now that he had come to the manor with a very important mission and he really does not want to ruin any chances. “I think you already know why I am here,” Wally averts his gaze from Bruce’s all-knowing ones and catches sight of a new family photo – it brings a smile to his face when he sees just how happy you are, surrounded by your father and your brothers.
Bruce doesn’t even move to follow Wally’s gaze because he knows well enough what Wally is staring at. He chuckles inwardly seeing the love-stricken smile on the young man’s face. Bruce honestly never thought the relationship you shared with Wally could last long – given the nature of the lives Wally and you are living but he is glad. Bruce is glad over the fact that he has seen that look ever since Wally had been a younger teen and whenever it came to you, that look of love and adoration that always cross his face somewhat relieves Bruce – he knows well that Wally is a very good man – one that can keep you grounded and one that made you feel very complete. “I do.” Bruce finally answers.
Wally lets out a sigh of relief before slowly reaching for the black velvet ring box that feels extremely heavy in his pocket. He takes it out from his pocket and places it on the table in front of him – he knows it’s nothing much compared to what Bruce could probably afford but Wally had saved up enough money to buy this ring you have been eyeing for the longest time. “I would like to ask for your daughter’s hand in marriage, Sir.” Wally takes a deep breath and looks at Bruce straight in the eyes. It unnerves him a little with how intense Bruce is looking at him but relief washes over him when Bruce slowly nods his head. “Are you serious?” His jaw drops and Wally feels as if he had been smacked in the face – he actually thought Bruce would put up a lot of resistance.
Bruce chuckles at the expression Wally is wearing before nodding his head. “I have seen the both of you grow, Wally and you are a really good man for Y/N. I have never seen Y/N happier and I am afraid, I have to burst your bubble.” Bruce states seriously causing Wally to stare at him in confusion. “If you think I was the one that will be giving you a hard time, you are definitely mistaken – have you considered what the rest will have to say?”
Wally blanches when he finally realizes that he has to talk to the rest of your brothers – Dick had been alright with his plan, in fact his best friend had been in full support ever since the two of them got together and Dick had already given him the ‘talk’ too. Tim might be a little bit alright and Jason might try to shoot him but Damian… Damian is definitely going to give him a lot of hell. “Oh.”
Bruce simply smiles before reaching for the cup of tea Alfred had poured for him earlier. He sips his drink – it’s lukewarm now – and watches the man in front of him. Bruce really cannot wait to see you in your wedding dress.
Asking Tim had gone smoothly. Wally didn’t even know why he had fretted in the first place – actually, he does know. He knows just how much your brothers mean to you and he really wants to do you right by asking all of your brothers for permission. Tim simply smacked him on the back, “took you long enough, Wally! Y/N’s going to be really happy.” Wally had a love-struck smile when Tim brought you up causing the latter to smack his back again. “Okay, gross – I don’t need to see that look on your face whenever you think about my sister!” Tim exclaims and Wally sputters because his thoughts had been innocent enough. Tim laughs at Wally’s expression. “Joking, Wally. Are you going to go look for the rest now?”
Wally nods his head. “Dick already gave me the green light. I just need to find Jason and Damian.” He winces at that thought. Maybe he should have gone to see Damian first because he knows how close Damian is to you. Tim also winces when he heard the last two names.
Chasing Jason down was not as hard as Wally thought it would be. Granted, Dick had to set up the meeting and insisted he is let in on the meeting too. Just in case Jason decides to go after him, that is. Wally rolls his eyes at his friend’s vote of confidence – Wally likes to think that Jason likes him a little bit more than Damian. Just by the tiniest bit.
Jason raises his eyes as he dismantles his gun. Wally eyes the table carefully before taking a seat across of him. “So what did you want to meet up for?” He asks, tilting his head to the side. Wally takes out the black velvet box he had been carrying and simply places it in front of him. Jason’s gaze zeroes in on the box and Wally can feel the tenseness in the air. “Are you fucking kidding me?”
Wally reels back at Jason’s words. “No – I got Bruce’s permission already.” He squeaks before clearing his throat and repeating the words again. “I just wanted to tell you that I am planning on asking Y/N’s hand in marriage.” Jason narrows his eyes at Wally. Wally tries his hardest not to notice just how quickly Jason put the gun back together.
“You better not hurt or make Y/N cry or else.” Jason loads the gun and Wally nods his head. “I can think of several different ways to shoot you, Wally and you are going to hurt in places you never thought you would get hurt. Got it?”
Wally gulps and nods his head. “Of course – Dick has also given me the ‘hurt Y/N and I’ll make sure you regret it’ talk and I am pretty sure Damian is going to be harder to convince – but thank you?”
Jason rolls his eyes, scoffing at Wally. “Good luck trying to convince that spawn.” Jason hisses and that’s Wally’s queue to leave him alone. He grabs the ring and slides it in his pocket before rushing to the kitchen where Dick has been raiding Jason’s pantry.
“No.”
Wally sputters. “What do you mean ‘no’?”
Damian shakes his head. “Tt – and I am supposed to give dearest sister my blessing?” He eyes Wally a few times before shaking his head, clicking his tongue and returning his attention back to the book he had initially been reading right before Wally had disturbed him.
“B – oh, come on, Damian.” Wally frowns as he tries once again. He knew Damian was going to be the hardest one to convince – he also knows just how close the both of you are too so he somewhat understands Damian’s reservations even if he is starting to feel annoyed. “Everyone else has given me their permissions and blessings and are you really not going to give me your blessings?” Wally presses.
Damian simply ignores him in favour of reading the very action-packed part of the book. He has always admired your wonderful tastes in books! He can’t wait to have a discussion with you regarding this book – out of all of his siblings, having discussions about literature with you is always the best.
Just as Wally is about to start pulling his own hair out, a voice catches the both of them by surprise.
“Wally, Damian – my two favourite men in one room.” You greet them happily. You haven’t seen your boyfriend for the past few days because you had been trying to catch deadlines and finish up all of your assignments and you have missed him terribly. Talking to him on the phone had quelled some of the feelings you had but seeing him in the flesh is much better. The grin on your face widens when Wally turns to look at you with a smile that could blind you.
“Babe,” Wally pockets the box and stands up to wrap his arms around you. You giggle as you snuggle closer, wrapping your own arms around Wally. He kisses your temple. “How was your day – did you finish your assignments? Have you eaten?” Wally throws questions at you – if he had been paying attention, he would have seen Damian looking at the both of you with a serious look on his face.
You shrug your shoulders, pressing your nose against his collarbone. “Day started off quite badly – forgot my umbrella in the car, it poured when I was walking across the campus and the deadlines I had been trying to catch turned out to be postponed to next week and overall, it just sucks.” You told him, suddenly feeling very tired at how your day had turned out to be. “I am really happy I get to see you – I missed you, Wally.” Wally pulls you closer, showering you with kisses causing you to giggle a few times.
Damian pretends to gag causing the two of you to turn to him. He has his bookmarker at the page he had been reading and he stands up. “The least the both of you could do was to wait until I was out of the room, Tt.” Damian deadpans causing you to laugh. He closes his book and heads toward the door. “Sister, I will see you during dinner later – I will tell Pennyworth to make your favourites for tonight, to make up for your horrendous day.” Damian informs you and you could not help but reach over to ruffle his hair, causing Damian to hiss and pout at your actions. Damian is about to head out of the room when he pauses by the door to stare directly at Wally.
Wally raises one of his eyebrows.
“I suppose you have mine.” Damian mutters, confusing you but that had been enough for Wally because the grin on his face widens and he begins to try and talk your ears off by talking about what he had been doing at work (in an attempt to make sure you don’t catch on to what Damian had said) and Damian resists the urge to roll his eyes because it is really unbecoming so he settles for crossing his arms. “Tt.”

Do you think you could make a part 2 or mini series to that Jason Todd soulmate au you wrote? It was really really good♥️
thank you!! sorry this has taken so long, but I’ve finally got some down time this week so here it is! this is still kinda angsty because it is jason, but there’s also bed sharing and first kisses and other cute cliche stuff, so don’t tell me I never do anything nice for you guys. ;)
read part one here!
For a solid month and a half after your first meeting, your relationship with Jason stays strictly platonic. He makes a habit of walking you home from work, will sometimes treat you to dinner before escorting you to your house, but he never takes his mask off, never even tells you his full name. You get the feeling that he means to avoid touching you, too, but it turns out all of those stories about how addictive the soulmate bond is weren’t exaggerations – he’s as drawn to you as you are to him, and his hands always seem to find their way into yours.
He’s cautious, almost to the point of being paranoid, but you get the feeling that the only way a relationship between the two of you is going to work is if he’s able to reassure himself that he’s not putting you in danger in any way by being around you. And anyway, he’s careful never to impose on your personal freedom – his paranoia seems concerned only with his interactions with you. You know he worries about you being seen with him, that he’s afraid of what might happen if his enemies realized that you could be used as leverage over him. So you humor him, even if it means that you only see him at night, and only in out-of-the-way places where the two of you have a certain degree of privacy.
Still, it really bothers you that he won’t let you see his face.
It’s not that you really care what he looks like. He’s smart and witty and surprisingly well-read, plus he’s a total sweetheart under all that leather and muscle, all of which is much more important to you than anything like eye color or bone structure. What really bothers you is the mere fact that he doesn’t want you to see what’s under the mask.
“I promise it doesn’t matter to me if you’re ugly,” You half-joke one night, as he’s walking you home. “Even if you look like the Phantom of the Opera, I’ll still let you hang out with me.”
“I am much hotter than the Phantom,” He argues, gently knocking his arm against yours. “I swear, I look like an Abercrombie model under this mask.”
He doesn’t tell you that he wants you to see his face – and not because he’s really expecting you to swoon over how attractive he is, but because he hates knowing that when you look at him, you see the Red Hood, not the man under the mask. It feels like he’s lying to you, like he’s hiding, but letting you see him – the real him – feels like a point of no return, and he’s not ready to take that leap yet. Not until he knows that you’re safe and that his presence isn’t putting you in harm’s way.
Instead he tries to make up for it by giving you other little pieces of himself – a story about his childhood, a quote from a favorite book, a joke at his own expense, lingering touches that seem to say more than words can. He hopes that the scraps of information are enough to give you an idea of who he is, that you’re able to put together a complete picture of him even if you don’t have a face to put with it.
He’s not sure if he’s succeeding, but your hand is in his and you’re smiling at him like you’re two normal people with a normal friendship, and he thinks that for now that’s enough.
“So, who’s your new friend?”
The question comes from a familiar red-and-black clad figure that somehow managed to sneak up on him in the dark, and he really should have known that Tim would be the one to uncover his friendship (relationship?) with you. The kid really is too smart for his own good, and seems grimly determined to take an interest in Jason’s wellbeing.
“My soulmate,” He deadpans. There’s no point in lying; chances are good Tim had already realized as much on his own.
Sure enough, he seems unsurprised. “You’re being uncharacteristically careful lately. You’re worried about them.”
“Shit, Timmy, of course I am.” Jason finally turns to face his not-really-brother, officially giving up on tonight’s stakeout. “You know what we do. What happens when we try to bring the people we love into it.”
“Stephanie is fine, thanks.” Tim replies, but Jason doesn’t miss the defensive edge to his voice. “Fine” is relative in their line of work.
“Maybe so, but I think one death and resurrection is more than enough for one relationship. And, unlike Stephanie, my friend doesn’t have any kind of combat training, so excuse me if I proceed with due caution.”
“No one’s saying you shouldn’t be cautious.” Tim’s defensive tone is gone, replaced by something that’s half sage and half exasperation. “But you don’t have to protect them all by yourself, you know. You could ask for help sometimes. But since I know you won’t, I’ll talk to Cass and Damian about checking in on them. From behind the scenes, of course. At least until you’re ready to introduce us.”
“Why?” Jason doesn’t mean to sound as confrontational as he does – but he’s barely made peace with the Bat Clan, and calling on them for help is definitely foreign territory.
“Because you’re family.” The way Tim says it makes it fairly obvious that there’s an unspoken ‘idiot’ tacked onto the end of the sentence. “And if they’re your soulmate, then so are they. You should bring them over for dinner some time. When you’re ready.”
“Thanks.” Jason means it – he claps Tim on the shoulder, about as close as the two of them have ever gotten to a hug. “But, uh, could you maybe hold off on telling Bruce? At least for now?”
Tim nods slowly. “I’ll let you get around to breaking it to him. You’ve gotta get back on speaking terms with him at some point.”
Says you, Jason thinks, but he decides not to ruin the moment. “Thank you.”
“No problem.” Tim shrugs off his hand and reaches for his grappling hook, then pauses. “Oh, and one more thing.”
 “Yeah?””
“Get rid of the mask. Seriously,” Tim makes a face. “Take it from me, trying to keep your real identity out of the relationship just complicates things. You’re better off just coming clean.”
And then he’s gone.
You’re rudely awoken shortly after three in the morning by the sound of someone opening your bedroom window.
You’re halfway out of bed with your heart pounding before you can make out the familiar red mask and sink back against your pillow, muttering about stupid vigilantes scaring you to death as you watch Jason finish prying the window open so he can duck into your room and tiptoe over to your bed.
“Hi.” He sinks down on the foot of your bed, slumping like a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders.
“Hi,” You whisper back. “Not that I’m not happy to see you, but is there any particular reason why you decided to break into my house in the middle of the night?”
“I, uh, needed to see you.” His voice sounds sheepish and shy, even with the mechanical tone that the mask gives it. “And I was scared that I’d chicken out if I waited.”
Without a word, you scoot over, pulling back the covers in a clear invitation for him to join you. Somewhat to your amusement, he kicks off his boots and shrugs off his jacket before getting into your bed, letting out a shaky breath as he slides in next to you. It’s a tight enough squeeze that he can’t avoid touching you, and you can practically feel the nervousness radiating off of him as he lays down at your side.
You pause to drape the covers back over the both of you before you speak. “Okay. What’s going on?”
“Are you scared of me?” His voice is barely more than a whisper, and you don’t need to see his face to know that he’s afraid he already knows the answer.
“No.” You reply truthfully, finding his hands under the blankets and squeezing them gently. “I worry about you – I’m not stupid, I know what you do is dangerous. I’m scared for you. But not of being with you.”
“You don’t feel like maybe you got a bad deal with this soulmate thing? Like you deserve… better? Than me, I mean.” He’s stumbling over his words, and you get the feeling that it’s hard for him to admit these fears to himself, yet alone another person.
“No.” You squeeze his hands again. “I like you, Jason. I like talking to you, and spending time with you, and just being around you. I think you’re exactly what I need from a soulmate.”
“You’re sure?”
“I’m sure.”
He lets out another shaky breath, then slides his hands from yours and slowly, slowly reaches around to the back of his helmet. You hold your breath as he unlatches it with a click and slowly, almost shyly, removes it, leaving his face completely exposed.
For a moment, you just take it in. Messy black hair, hard jaw, the most gorgeous green-blue eyes you’ve ever seen. Eyes that are currently staring into yours as he holds his breath, waiting for a reaction.
“You’re beautiful.” It’s the first thing you can think to say, and his whole body relaxes as soon as the words pass your lips. He seems to relax into you, finally letting his body curl towards yours in the small space of your bed.
Unable to help yourself, you lift your hands to cup his face, closing the distance between you even further. He shivers at your touch, and it feels like something momentous has happened, something much bigger and more meaningful than a man taking off a mask. Under the blankets, his arms slide gently around your waist.
“Can I kiss you?” You’re surprised by how breathless your voice sounds.
“Please.” Even as he says it he’s leaning closer, so you can feel the ghost of his breath on your lips.
The first kiss is slow and tentative, barely more than the softest brush of your lips against his, testing the waters. It’s immediately followed by a second, this one longer and more confident, but still you’re struck by how soft he is. The touch of his hands on your waist is light, as if you were some fragile thing that would break if he was too rough with you, and when he kisses you it’s with a similar gentleness. There’s a hint of desperation in it too, like he’s afraid you’ll melt away in his hands at any moment.
“I’m here,” You whisper between kisses. “I’m not going anywhere.”
His only response is to slide one arm around your back and pull you towards him, like he needs to be as physically close to you as possible. You aren’t entirely sure he’s aware that he’s doing it.
You aren’t sure how long you lay there, peppering each other’s faces and mouths with kisses and filling the spaces between with whispered confessions. When you finally stop, he doesn’t make an effort to pull away from you, instead keeping his arms around you, holding you close.
You snuggle closer to him, propping your head up next to his on the pillow. “Will you stay?”
This time his answer comes without hesitation.
“Always.”

It’s Cold in Here Part 9
A/N: Here we go again! I’m going away for a little vacation with my sister to visit our grandparents, so I won’t be updating for about a week or two, but when I return, I will definitely continue this story so don’t worry! So, I hope you all enjoy this cliffhanger because God knows I enjoyed writing it to tease everyone!
Warnings: Language, smut, fluffiness, and jealousy.
By the time Jason and I reach my apartment, I’m more than just exhausted; I’m mentally weak.  Deathstroke’s words plague my ears and mind. No matter how many times I try to think for myself, or listen to Jason, Deathstroke’s voice takes control over me.
I undress in the living room; not even caring if Jason sees or not (which I know he most likely will anyways). Kicking off my boots, I peel off the top of my costume, immediately noticing the wet spots from when Deathstroke got a good few hits at me. Spots of my blood stains my stomach, but I’m lucky enough to not need stitches or anything serious. Slipping into my sweats and t-shirt, I throw myself on the couch and begin to wonder how to take Deathstroke down.
Do I kill Deathstroke and not tell Bruce? Yeah right, Bruce and Tim could find out and point it all back to me since they’re fucking detectives.
Do I ‘accidentally’ kill him? No, it’ll some how come back to me. I remember Bruce’s golden rule: Justice, not vengeance. At least Damian would agree with me on this one.
Should I ask someone else for help? Maybe…Roy Harper? He would totally be down for a big ass kicking if anything!
Lying completely on my side, I notice Jason sits beside me and removes his helmet. “Are you okay?” he asks softly. He sets his helmet on the coffee table; I can smell his cologne and gun powder from his jacket.
“No. I don’t think I’ll ever be okay again,” I truthfully answer.
“That’s not true. We just need to...probably ask Tim and Damian for help. They might know what we should do about this since Deathstroke won’t fucking quit.
Jason lifts my legs up and sets them on his lap. One of his hands reaches for mine to hold, as his other hand rubs up and down my leg; in a comforting matter or flirting matter, I can’t tell right now. He exhales shakily and pushes his hand into my sweatpants to feel my smooth leg.
I glance up at him as he just smirks at me; he’s probably thinking I can easily be seduced.
“Are you…trying to hit on me?” I ask slowly.
“Maybe,” Jason replies anxiously. I’ve never seen the cocky, overly confident, and egotistical man show fear before. His blue eyes focus on me, and for a brief second, he licks his bottom lip. “I-I just need to stay busy. I-I shouldn’t be thinking too much.”
“What do you mean?”
“I…had to stop myself back there…from killing him. The way he tried to hurt you, hurt my brother, I wanted to fucking kill him, Y/N. All I wanted to do is break his fucking spine…rip apart his fucking face…and step all over his hands and body for even thinking he can fucking hurt you and my family. The thing is, I know I have changed for the better, but there’s something still in me that screams kill, whenever someone I love is hurt or in danger,” Jason confesses. His voice breaks, and it saddens me to see how Jason is still affected from his past. His fingers rub circles on my leg, and the warmth and comfort he’s giving me is distracting me as well. “All I want is to forget that feeling right now. I just want to fucking forget tonight because I was sure I was going to kill him, and I fucking know I wouldn’t come back from all of that. I wouldn’t be who I am. I would be that man Bruce has helped me bury. I can’t allow that to happen, especially now that you’re around me more.”
I’m speechless. My chest is pounding from my wild emotions; which could be my heart beating fast because of Jason’s feelings, or I might be having a real heart attack from the stress and everything else around me.
Jason sits up to kneel in front of me, and he closes the distance between us as he kisses me. His lips are slightly chapped, but the warmth and emotion from him makes me fall into a peaceful state where nothing is bothering me, and everything just stops for a moment. I kiss him back with as much affection, and the moment the kiss deepens, my cell phone rings; alerting both of us. I reach across to the coffee table to get it and I see it’s Artemis.
“Hello?” I answer breathlessly.
“Y/N! Why the hell haven’t you called me or text me or something?! I’ve been dying to talk to you! Listen, I need to know what happened that night when you were drinking. Did anything happen that I should know about? And I need to know what you’re doing right now!” Artemis flips out.
“Hey, you haven’t exactly tried to reach me either. Is everything okay?” I ask, hoping to calm her down a bit.
“Yeah, I mean...Conner and I are together now...” Artemis says, happily sighing into the phone. I can hear Conner say something near her, and she giggles at him. “But I didn’t call to talk about that since we can discuss more about Conner and how you and Dick are going to be so cute at Bruce’s gala tomorrow night.”
I freeze. “Bruce’s gala?” I repeat.
“Yeah, we all got our invites. Didn’t you get one?”
Jason sits up and begins to pull down my sweatpants. On his knees, he pulls them completely off despite my warning glare. He settles in between my legs and starts kissing down my chest and all the way down my stomach. The second his hot lips kiss down my thighs, I whine.
“What was that noise?” Artemis asks.
“Uh-nothing! I haven’t checked my mail yet,” I breathe heavily. My hand holds my phone tightly, as the other hand runs through Jason’s hair. “You and Conner are going together?”
“Of course! So is Tim and Zatanna! That means you and Dick are going together right?” Artemis asks.
“I-uh...I think so,” I struggle to speak. Jason kisses my thigh once more, before he dips his head down to my pussy and licks up my slit to my clit. His tongue circles my clit, and then he takes me by surprise when he lightly sucks on it. He looks up at me and smirks at how easily I can come undone by his power of oral sex.
Biting my lip, I try to remain calm because Jason is close to getting where I need him. But Artemis sighs sadly. Now that doesn’t sound good.
“Y/N...I need to tell you something. I-I promised I wouldn’t say anything, but I think I need to tell you because you deserve to know.”
I immediately push Jason off me; knocking him off the couch. Mouthing “sorry”, I slip back on my panties and sweatpants. “What’s wrong? Is it about you?” I ask cautiously.
“Kind of. Remember when I told you Wally and I broke up because it just wasn’t working out? There was a real reason why we broke up after he came back from the Speed-Force. It was because he was sleeping around with Dick,” Artemis reveals.
I can feel my throat tighten. Of course, I already knew about Dick and Wally’s involvement, but I didn’t think their history went that far back. I exhale, and I almost want to tell her what’s been going on lately.
“What?” I ask, figuring that’s the appropriate response right now.
“Wally’s gay. He...was confused for a long time and I knew we couldn’t keep dating because I knew he wanted Dick more, and that he shouldn’t change or hide who he really is. The thing is, you’re my best friend and I just need to know if Dick told you the truth. D-Dick is my friend too, and he told me not to tell you about his and Wally’s flings when he first started seeing you. I didn’t want to get involved in your love life and-” Artemis rambles on apologetically.
“Artemis! It’s fine. I…already know about Dick and Wally,” I admit.
“How? And if he told you, why are you still with him? You’re okay with Dick being…bi?”
“I-I don’t really know about our relationship status at the moment. If anything, I think we’re on a time-out,” I say nervously. I pace around and I can’t figure out how to deal with this because my mind is only focused on one thing: Deathstroke. Dick and Wally’s flings don’t bother me as much as before, but I know Artemis is just looking out for me. “But wait, you haven’t told anyone about them? Does anyone know about Wally?”
“I’m the only one who knows about Wally. He’s still…scared to come out, especially since he feels like he’s going to disappoint Barry. But no, as far as I know, we’re the only ones who know the truth,” Artemis discloses.
Besides Jason, Tim, Damian, and Alfred, I think to myself.
“But look Y/N, I don’t hate Wally after what happened between us. I don’t think I can even hate him. We…had a good run, and I still love him and consider him one of my best friends. It’s just that…sometimes it’s hard to accept the truth, especially when it’s coming from someone you love. And I know you love Dick, so I hope you’re not blaming yourself or planning to kill yourself anytime soon,” Artemis continues before she sighs once more. I fear what she’s going to ask me now. “Do you hate him? Do you hate Dick?”
The question catches me off guard. After everything that has happened, I realize I mostly went through the stages of betrayal, anger, and sadness. But as of right now, the only thing I feel is determination and pity for Deathstroke when I finish him off.
“I…don’t hate Dick,” I confess. It’s the one confession I feel like I can easily admit. I’m not hiding anything. I’m not hurting Dick or myself. It’s just the plain, honest, truth, and it actually feels good to get it out. “I can’t hate him. I don’t think I can ever hate him. But listen Artemis, I really want to tell you how I found out and what’s going on, but I can’t right now. Some shit is going on, and I need to focus on that.”
I finally move out of the living room, while Jason follows me. Turning on the kitchen light, I head to get a water bottle, but a yellow and red costume catches my attention on my balcony.
“I’m going to have to call you back,” I say quickly and hang up, despite Artemis trying to keep me talking.
Kid Flash vibrates through my locked balcony door and enters my home. Jason suddenly appears at my side and pushes me behind him as he aims his gun right at Wally West. He chuckles darkly, and points at me.
“Y/N, we need to talk,” Wally says seriously. He pulls his hood back to reveal his green eyes and freckled face.
“What do you want?” I ask, realizing I don’t sound friendly at all.
“I’m only going to say this once. For the past few months, I’ve had to lie about who I am. I constantly have to pretend I’m straight, and that I like girls. But you know the truth now, so you can imagine how fucking awful and annoying it is to put on a mask and be the person everyone wants to see, right?” Wally asks, with hints of sarcasm.
“What does this have to do with her?” Jason demands. He slowly lowers the gun down.
“I want you to officially end things with Dick. I don’t give a shit what he told you. You’re not in love with him anymore. I see it. Dick sees it. Hell, I even saw it at the barbeque, and I’m gay! I know why Dick insists on keeping you around, but why the hell are you even still with him? Are you that desperate for a guy?” Wally questions me. He’s clearly annoyed.
“What do you know about my feelings, Wally?! You’re not me! You don’t know what happened in our relationship and you don’t know what it was like!” I snap.
“I know for a fact that he was miserable with you! The fact that he kept coming back to me late night says something doesn’t it?!” Wally yells. He laughs when he notices I frown. “Yeah, when you would fall asleep with him, he’d leave you to come to my place. It was clear as day that he couldn’t be with you anymore.”
“Watch it, West,” Jason threatens.
“If he was that miserable with me, then he should have broken up with me in the beginning. But don’t you dare take your jealousy and pain out on me, Wally. I have absolutely nothing to do with yours and Dick’s relationship. Whatever is going on between you two, it’s clearly between you two. And as for ‘our relationship’, you know for a fact that he’s the one who still wants to be with me; I don’t want to stay with him. I still love him, and I’ll probably always love him, but I’m not in love with him. I will never fall or be in love with him ever again. But until Dick figures out how to come out to his family and friends, I’m not going to break up with him or out him. Not now, not ever. But if you have a problem with me, come at me then,” I say seriously. I step forward from Jason, and I hold out my hands. I smirk, and chuckle at the way Wally’s face falls. “I already have to deal with an asshole who’s threatening me and Dick. But if I have to, I’ll fucking fight you too, because I’m not going anywhere until Dick deals with his issues.”
Wally exhales heavily. His eyes stay on the floor, as he runs a hand through his red hair. I can tell he’s on the verge of crying, except I’m not even sure why. After a few minutes, he finally raises his head up and his eyes are red and puffy.
“He’s…he’s just hurting me a lot, Y/N. He doesn’t care that he’s toying you around and just using me because he’s so fucking stubborn to realize the damage he’s doing! He REFUSES to admit he’s bisexual, and that he wants to be with me! He’s playing a fucked-up game right now, and we’re just pawns until he gets what he wants! I’m not fucking stupid. I know he still loves you, and he wants it to work out between you two, but I know it’s not fair for me, or even you. But Dick’s going to do whatever he wants because…” Wally chokes up, and steps closer to me until he’s hugging me; which frightens me a bit. “He’s going to do something tomorrow night…he’s just going to keep hurting us, Y/N.”
I freeze into his arms. Jason raises an eyebrow and watches us closely. “What do you mean, Wally?” I ask quietly. Maybe I don’t want to know…
“Tim told me that Dick’s going to propose to you tomorrow at the gala. He has a ring. He has something planned. And he’s going to want you to say yes,” Wally admits.
My eyes widen. Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse…
It does.

Can you do prompts 35 + 67 where the reader gives Damian the sex talk and the other batfam members are listening in on the conversation
Oh boy, this is a hilarious idea! I love it!!! I hope you like it!
Warning: Swearing & an explanation of sex
Prompt 35: “If you make one more stupid pun, I will literally stab you.”
Prompt 67: “Don’t look at me like that.”
_______
Awkward
You’ve become quite the friend to the batfamily. After being best friends with Dick for the longest time, he told you who he was. You were able to put everything together with the other members of his family.
Now whenever they’re out on patrol you’re always in the cave to help Alfred with their return.
The Manor has become a second home, you’re always visiting. The boys often have come to confide in you as well, Dick always had but now his brothers have found an outlet through you.
So, when you walked in the door and Dick said Damian wanted to talk to you about something it was no surprise.
“Do you have any idea what he has to talk to you about?” Dick asked as he stood at the bottom eating his trademark bowl of cereal, you really have to tell him how sugary that stuff is.
“Not a clue” answering as you reached the top of the staircase.
Now this peeked Dick’s interest, usually everyone had ideas of what the others were thinking but this time he was at a standstill.
Lightly knocking on the door before cracking it open, you called “Hey Dami, Dick said you wanted to talk to me”
Pushing the door closed as you entered, not noticing it was left slightly ajar. Dick found that convenient as his curiosity got the best of him.
“TT, Grayson can do something right. It is true I do have a question.” He sat up on his bed.
Grabbing his desk chair you pulled it to face him. “Shoot”
“It’s a bit of a strange question” he didn’t make eye contact with you. “In this house there are no strange question” you laughed, “Go ahead speak your mind” You leaned back in the chair.
“Well [L/n] since I find you the least reprehensible I find I can only confide this in you.” He looked at you seriously.
“Thank you?” You weren’t sure to be flattered or offended.
You began to tilt the chair on it’s hind legs as he began, “Where do infants come from?”
You straight up fell on your back, it was the most graceful thing ever. The chair won in this round.
“W-WHAT?” You yelped staring at him wide eyed.
Completely unbeknownst to Dick almost chocking on his cereal. His choking had drawn the attention of Jason and Tim from their rooms. Great, now you had an audience.
“I-I, s-shouldn’t you be asking Bruce this? He’s your father or one of your brothers.” You sputtered standing up from the floor.
“I do not trust them to not make fun of me.” He was embarrassed, something you hadn’t seen from him.
“Dami, you don’t have anything to be embarrassed about. But Bruce wouldn’t make fun” You smiled at him.
“Will you please just explain it to me” he pleaded looking up at you.
Sighing you gave in, “Ok, I’ll tell you about the… birds and the bats” snorting at the pun.
He gave you a death glare, “If you make one more stupid pun, I will literally stab you.”
“Message received” you put your hands up in defense. So how does one do this, “So, um, when a man and a woman love each other. They, uh…. Have you heard of Ryan Reynolds because he made a very raw explanation of this” you changed the subject.
“No, it must be from you” he commanded as you just got even more awkward.
“Fine, um. So when a man and woman love each other they have…. Sex. And sex is when a man, uh, are you sur-?” you began to change topic again before his glare stopped you.
Clearing your voice you started again. “Okay, you know what, fuck it (heh another pun). Sex is when a man takes his sexual parts and inserts them into a woman’s sexual parts. When aroused a man can release these things called sperm which can then get the woman pregnant by fertilizing an egg. If a woman gets pregnant she develops the child in her womb. After around usually nine months she will go into labor where she gives actual birth to the child. To avoid pregnancy ALWAYS use protection, condoms.. birth control. I don’t care just use it. Condoms also protect people from sexually transmitted diseases. There are the basics and I’m not going into any more detail then this because this is super awkward.”
He just stared at you, “And I broke him… Great”
“I, uh…” he blushed.
“Yeah, I get it’s a lot to process but you are at the age to know. Just remember to hold off until you’re ready because it’s a really big step, and always make sure when it happens that you both are comfortable.” You instructed with a softer tone, seeing the poor boy was overwhelmed.
Before walking out of the room you said, “I’ll let you process, but just ask your dad about these things next time. He’s supposed to be the one to tell you about it.”
He nodded before you opened the door and walked out.
Seeing his three brothers trying to play it cool. “Ryan Reynolds huh?” Jason teased, smirking.
“Ugh, don’t give me that look.” you shook your head before walking down the hall.
The three followed, “So why didn’t he ask any of us?” Dick came up next to you.
“Okay so first off, when you heard what the conversation was going to be about you should’ve left. It was private and second he thought you guys would make fun of him” you scolded.
“Now if you’d excuse me I’m going to go warn Bruce before returning home and hiding in my apartment forever” Making your way to the library.
You were both glad Damian trusted you with that question, and extremely embarrassed you just explained sex to a 10-year-old.
