ON CT NUMBERS
Okay so, for research, I went looking up Clones.
And I came across "Bravo Squad", which was the Cadet Squad that graduated from cadets before Domino Squad did, in the Clone Wars episode "Cadets".
They were labeled by their CT numbers.
Now this is interesting in comparison to Domino Squad, who's numbers were:
CT-782 "Hevy" - Who we know later exploded on the Rishi Moon.
CT-00-2010 "Droidbait" - Who died off screen to Droids.
CT-4040 - "Cutup" - Who got ate by a Rishi Eel
CT-27-5555 - "Fives"
CT-21-0409 - "Echo"
Now, Echo is interesting in that he has two. He's been known as CT-0409 and CT-1409.
Was there a mistake? Prolly, but we can reconcile that easy--in that, we don't know what exactly a CT number is.
If it a serial number, a way to systematically label clones, and there are thousands to millions of Clones, then it would make sense to have a much longer serial number--but only immediately identify by part of that number for ease.
So Echo would actually be "CT-21-0408-1409".
( I will still say that its still too short, so I'd go that its actually longer than that--but this is what we have of it. Its a bit like IP Addresses, really. )
But what about that double digit in front?
Well, we look back at Bravo Squad from Cadets.

CT-66-3232
CT-66-3233
CT-66-3238
I'd say, judging by those numbers, that the double-digit indicates the Batch you were apart of.
(Writing wise, its prolly just ease to label a clone character and go, cos they did a lot of that in TCWs--but we can still have fun with what we have)
Like, take those cloning pillar-towers we see all the clone babies in, and label a set with a universal number, and that's a batch.
If we go by Legends, clones came out in batches of 32. Mesh that with Clone Wars Canon--and you could say they came out in batches of 32, but are later separated into Batch-Squads of 4 or 5 or 6 (Remember the Youth Brigade in the Boba Arc of TCWs? Like that)
It would make sense to produce a batch squad that has trained all their lives, to ensure perfect unit cohesion.
And Domino Squad either has no batch-number revealed, or come from different batches entirely.
More than likely, they were odd ones out of their batches, maybe it was a failure or something, maybe it was simply being the extra, maybe it was an attitude problem--but we could say that they were placed in Domino Squad, away from their original Batch-Squads, to see if they'd work together--and they conflicted a lot, because they didn't grow up with each other and lack that "Perfect Unit Cohesion".
( Oh they prolly could have worked together fine with training and time--but they didn't have that, nor did they have a good trainer )
So anyway.
Echo would be from Batch-21. Droidbait is from a Batch-00 (He's less likely to be the oldest, and more likely to just be in the right line on the right clone tree-pillar), and Fives is from Batch-27. (We don't know Cutup or Hevy's)
...
But if you notice in my Bravo Squad list, there's a CT-27-3555.
Judging by the fact that he's surrounded by Batch-66s... that's probably one of Fives' original batchmates. Based on his Batch Number and his CT Number.
And as far as we know, his old batchmate is out there...
Somewhere...

Snippet of my current WIP
“I spy-”
CT-782 sighed deeply.
“-With my little eye-”
“CT-4040,”
“-something blue.”
“If it’s the kriffin ocean for the fifteenth time, I will toss you into it,”
Fives chuckled as he watched the two devolve into petty squabbling for the tenth time this shift.
“And this is why I hate perimeter duty,” Echo muttered, somewhat to fives but mostly to himself.
It always ended the same. CT-782 got restless, which made him irritated. CT-4040 got bored, tried to entertain himself, and annoyed CT-782 into bickering. Droidbait sat in a corner, and it was 50/50 whether he was daydreaming or keeping watch. Fives liked to spectate CT-782 and CT-4040 going at each other’s throats, so Echo was the only one actually doing their job.
“What do you expect me to do?” 4040 was saying, “Be silent and boring like Echo?”
Luckily Echo was too used to those comments to care.
“YES!” 782 replied. “At least pretend you’re as miserable as the rest of us! Nothing ever happens on perimeter duty!”
“Which is why we can relax a bit!” 4040 protested.
“Yes, but quietly!” 782 countered. “Too loud, and we’ll alert others that we’re not really keeping watch.”
“Five credits, one of them ends up in the ocean,” Fives whispered to him.
“You don’t even have five credits, Fives.” Echo countered at equal volume, fighting everything in himself to lecture his two bickering brothers on protocol. It would only escalate the situation further. Nearly every time that happened, they were given cleaning duty for the next two weeks. He’d rather not spend more time in the communal refreshers than needed.
“Okay, I bet five hypothetical credits that one ends up in the ocean,” Fives amended, “You want in?”
“You don’t even know what ‘hypothetical’ means!”
“I do too, or I wouldn’t have used it!” Fives objected.
“Yeah, what about ‘sacrilegious’? You were using it for at least a week before you knew what it meant.”
“I bet five hypothetical credits that you’re ending up in the ocean, you sacrilegious mir'sheb,”
“That’s still not how you use the word, and you couldn’t lift me,” Echo replied, only half fighting the smile spreading on his face. That was the only good part about perimeter duty, just quiet banter between him and his twin.
“That a challenge?” Fives asked, raising an eyebrow.

He's fine
Cutup is perfectly fine, just waiting to be picked up
He has single handedly reduced the population of rishi eels by half, with absolutely no regrets. He eats them, even though they taste terrible, just for poetic justice. And survival; that's another reason.
And yes, he did paint angry eyebrows on his helmet with the blood of the rishi eel that 'ate' him, because he's heckin mad and extremely vengeful.
Cutup was done so dirty, so I felt compelled to quickly sketch the poor guy as a caveman

His eyes met the clone's gaze and Obi-Wan sucked in a breath, the Sergeant's report fading into the background. On the other side of the console, the clone stared right back, eyes wide, and brought a splayed hand to his chest, over his heart. He was suddenly radiating confusion, and a little bit of awe. Faintly, all his attention on the clone, Obi-Wan noted that he must be feeling the threads of potential that had just snapped into existence between them. Somehow, for the first time since the start of the war, Obi-Wan was face to face with a Force-sensitive clone.
Had he not had his vision, Obi-Wan realized, his breath leaving him, this clone would most likely have died in the droid attack, with no one the wiser. That would explain the Force's insistence on this course of action.
"General?" asked Waxer under his breath from his post at his shoulder.
"Ah," he said, faint, gaze still on the trooper. "My apologies, Sergeant. Please give me a moment. Trooper, may I know your name?"
"C-Cutup, sir. CT-4040. What just happened?"
"I believe the Force really wanted me to meet you, Cutup."
