Me before Rookies: I am well aware that Echo debuts in The Clone Wars and almost all of his original squad dies. However, for this reason I think I will be prepared when I finally watch the show and they are gradually killed off over the course of maybe two or three episodes.

After Rookies: Someone please give these two and myself some blankets and Caprisuns and keep Fives locked up and safe from dying I was NOT prepared for that.

Sad Echo Hours

TW: Serious injury

And spoilers for The Clone Wars S3 and 7 for those who may not have seen it.

So I was thinking about Echo (again) and his cybernetics and it brought me down a depressing rabbit hole.

Echo has a robotic arm as well as two fully robotic legs which means one of two things.

1. The Separatists found him and amputated the limbs that they couldn't save.

2. They literally found just his torso with a head and one arm.

Which is horrifying to think about

But don't worry. It gets worse.

Because if the latter is true, then that means that if Fives, Rex, and the others had been able to go back and check on Echo then yes they would have found Echo alive, but they would have only found half of him.

They would have had to carry half of their brother back with them.

It's incredibly depressing to think about and I apologise for now making it everyone else's problem.
