🔥 for ships?
hmmmmmmmmm
claims of incest are kinda stupid in hetalia. these are immortal nations with no canon explanation for their birth and no explanation of their genetics. it's okay not to feel comfortable with a ship because you see their relationship as more platonic/familial than romantic but don't attack people over it

1 & 9 for the history asks?
1. Who is your favourite historical person?
I think it shines through that, while I do have a few different people that interest me greatly from various periods, I predominantly post about the 17th and 18th centuries in Europe on my Tumblr blog.
Within that time frame, my favourites are, without a doubt, Admiral Samuel and Margaret Graves, an at times somewhat unconventional Georgian couple.
I found out about them through watching TURN: Washington's Spies, as the series's main, and largely fictionalised beyond recognition, villain is Samuel Graves's godson, John Graves Simcoe. Researching him, I quickly found out about the lives of his godfather and the latter's wife, and became intrigued.
9. Favourite historical film?
Taking "historical" to mean with regards to the setting rather than 'a plot based on historic events', I am very fond of Persuasion (1995), Emma (2020), and Master and Commander (2003).
Branching out into TV series with a historical setting, I greatly enjoy Hornblower (1998-2003), Prince Regent (1979), and The First Churchills (1969), among others. Both Prince Regent and The First Churchills had some of the most amazing casting choices I have ever seen. Rather than going for a household name actor or someone conventionally attractive according to contemporary standards at the time of filming (cough, Br*dgerton George III, cough), both series went for maximum resemblance, warts and all, wherever possible.

One day you think: I want to die. And then you think, very quietly, actually I want a coffee. I want a nap. A sandwich. A book. And I want to die turns day by day into I want to go home, I want to walk in the woods, I want to see my friends, I want to sit in the sun. I want a cleaner room, I want a better job, I want to live somewhere else, I want to live.

i love studying. i love writing. i love reading. i love learning languages. i love doing mathematics. i love wandering over some particular sum and trying to come up with formulas to solve it. i love physics. i love biology. i love chemistry. i love history. i love literature. i love learning.
not to achieve the perfect grades ever. but it just amazes me that there's so much to know and learn and write and read about in the universe. my curiosity wouldn't get enough of it.

DPxDC prompt: Danny Phantom is an extremely high-level threat due to his capabilities and experience battling against his ghostly enemies. Batman is creating a contingency plan for him and Constantine's advice, as the one who dances the tango with the Infinite Realms? A bone-weary sigh of "plop him down a telly and put on a NASA documentary or something. It's like you haven't been dealing with teen kids for decades now fer fuck's sake."
