is it normal to not fully recognize someone with like, just a shirt change?

Like an actor. I mean like i know its the actor, i know its the same person, i technically recognize them, but its like....aome part of my brain is confused?

where i can almost say it feels like 2 different people which duh, acting. but i dont always get that feeling whether its good or bad acting

it just seems random? maybe? idk

but it feels weird. its kind of like the feeling i get when i look at myself in the mirror (usually when im off my meds)

like i know thats me. i look familiar. i know its a reflection. but also, thats not me

kind of hurts my head sometimes 😭

#i cant remember if i already talked about this i think i have #but it bothers me i cant explain it #bc like im really good with faces right #like a second flash of a nose or eye and a lot of times i know who it is #but then sometimes all it takes is a different shirt and its like whoa who is that #sort of. like personality kind of plays a roll but its not always a drastic change in personality #like i feel this isnt exactly normal since its bugging me. but also i know its normal to not recognize an actor #when they play another character. like feel like theyre a totally different person #idk #but it kind of freaks me out #im on my meds this shouldnt be happening #i want an update diagnosis on my schizotypal #ughh #it really is like when i look in the mirror sometimes. like rn i look and its like yeah thats me. other times its like #wtf imposter who is that #yknow like a dog 😂

the disastrous life of saiki k its only a comedy anime because we see everything from kusuo's pov and the things that's happens in the episode are just a normal day for him so he sees everything like normal and even comedic

I just KNOW that if it was from someone else's pov the anime would turn into psychological horror

Wait. I got it. I understand why Worf's comic relief moments work in 90s Trek and not in PIC. In TNG/DS9 they mostly spring from a character place ("find him and kill him," "Our gods are dead. Ancient Klingon warriors slew them a millennia ago. They were more trouble than they were worth" even "I am not a Merry Man") whereas the WHOLE joke in PIC is haha, can you believe WORF is saying this?? ("Would you like some chamomile tea") like, the humor itself comes from him being not in character. And yes, people grow and change in 30 years, but PIC never actually bothered to show us those changes or who Worf is now. Worf's entire personality is that he's not the Worf we know. That's not a character. It's the absence of a character
