Wanda lets out a laugh and grabs your phone back.

When you see her begin to type back to MJ, you dive forward with a startled noise.

“What are you doing?”

Wanda moves effortlessly away from you, stepping off the bed in one swift move and you can do nothing but follow her.

You hastily wrap the sheet tighter around your body, giggling after Wanda.

“I’m just giving her some advice.” Wanda says, moving your phone out of reach.

Once she finishes typing, Wanda shows you what she’s written and waits patiently for you to read it.

“Go get a hot chocolate and meet up with Peter for a while. Y/N will be back much later - Wanda.”

“Am I okay to send it?”

You press send yourself and smile up at the other woman. She grins down at you, puts your phone on aeroplane mode so MJ can’t disturb you again and tosses it blindly onto the bed.

AHHhhhHH okay i'm caught up on physical paradox!! i set out a little block of time to read it all the way through this morning

i love the dynamic between nanami and rinko! just makes me wonder what sorta devious schemes and shit they got into in their first years yknow? the soul crushing essays they'd write on ratemyprof after an awful course?

I also love Rinko and Nanami's dynamic. The level of friendship they have is one we all want, tbh. Because, just like in Another Level, Nanami is like Rinko's brother. They adore each other, they irritate each other, but they will kill for the other. Like, if anyone fucked with Nanami, Rinko would end their life, and vice versa. Naoya referring to a guard dog in Right Hook? He was talking about Nanami.

As for Gojo? So it's not about him not being allowed to make jokes. The issue for him is that he hasn't been joking about 99% of what he's said to Rinko. Anything remotely sexual that he's said to her has been serious. He's literally just a lil horny boi for her 😂

Hmmm…

I was thinking about that fandom commentary post I’d reblogged a couple days ago, and it’s been churning in my head for a hot sec.

I think part of the reason there’s always some form of drama and hidden resentment for fanon is because most of the time, people’s understanding of the character’s motivation vs the audience’s motivation is often very skewed. It’s not a bad thing necessarily; what is fiction if not a vehicle for self-fulfillment and all that, but it’s usually where character interpretation gets very muddled.

Idk, at least that’s how I see it. It’s the reason why I personally have a hard time interacting with a lot of established fanon ideas, unless they line up with how I view a character. And even then, it’s a toss up. Lol

For example, in my current fandom, there’s a popular interpretation I see in a lot of KimChay fics where if Chay sees Kim kill, he gets aroused and turned on. I myself love the fics that take this idea to the next level (there are some brilliant writers in this sphere that I just love so much), and I adore the hc quite fondly.

But to seriously consider it as an idea within the canon context of the KP storyline, I don’t see it whatsoever, yknow what I mean?

At least from how I understand the canon storyline, Chay is averse to violence; at some level, he’s used to it due to his experience with the loan sharks, but let’s be real, he was more about to go into cardiac arrest than anything else when he saw Kim’s kills in the bar, not necessarily turned on by it. I don’t think that would change had he seen Kim kill in front of him. Lol Methinks the purpose of that scene is to show a disturbing reminder to the audience of what Kim is capable of, and Chay’s own ignorance of it, despite having fallen in love with Kim. The short scene introduces a whole new dimension to their relationship that had yet to be explored.

The way I see it, the idea of Chay getting turned on by Kim killing is most likely a vehicle for expressing the fact that most of the KimChay fandom would find Kim killing to be an arousing, hot picture. 😂 Because it is a hot idea for all of us horn dogs; who wouldn’t fall for a Kim who knows his way around various weapons and guns, yknow?

And meh, some people are more open-minded about this sort of thing, and some aren’t. Either way, I’m of the opinion to just stick to your guns and do what you want in fandom, even if what you want may not necessarily be what everyone wants~

HI ELLIE OKAY I JUST FINISHED TTPD AND I AHVE OPINIONS 😭 first half of the album was ehh idk how to feel abt fortnight considering it’s the single for this album I think it was good not that good though it wasn’t amazing like lavender haze I really loved ttpd (the song) I think my boy only breaks his favorite toys were good but so long London was a HUGE disappointed I think we all hyped it up so much and we all ended up getting disappointed because it wasn’t what we wanted or expected but daddy I love him WAS SO GOOD especially the lyric Where it goes “I’m having his baby no I’m not,but you should see your faces” GAGEDDD I WAS GAGED I also really liked fresh out of the slammer especially the kind banging sounds ik it wasn’t banging but bear w me 😭😭 guys English isn’t my language you can’t blame me fr 😂😂 who’s afraid of little old me WAS SO GOOOD and I can do it with a broken heart especially when she goes “I’m so depressed I act like it’s my birthday everyday Im so obsessed with him but he avoids me like plague” and the upbeat music makes it so much better the anothology was so much better then the normal version definitely really loved the black dog that song really stood out to me imgonnagetyouback WAS SO GOOD I saved that one I hate it here was also really good 😭 thanK you aIMee THE SHADE THROWN AT KIM ?? So apparently, at 1:35 AM in the morning, I have found a real life connection for an enemy type in Elden Ring.

Ok, so yknow the giant ants in the Ainsel River Well? You know how they spray acid out their butts and it hits like a b*tch? (TBF what acid wouldn’t? lol) Well, apparently there’s a real life species of ants that actually does that! (Disclaimer: idk if any of the big lore dogs in the yard have found this out, but it is a small thing, so… yeah 😂)

Anyways, they’re called, and I ain’t making this up, Yellow Crazy Ants. (Scientific name: Anoplolepis gracilipes)

And get this, the acid they spray out of their butts?

THIS IS ACTUALLY PAINFULLY DIFFICULT but i’ll probably go capybaras i want what they have absolute ANGELS they are

2. What is your favorite soup?

i like deadass hate soup ngl (bc texture or lack thereof + liquids being salty is kind of :/ to me + my mom literally made soup almost every day growing up i am so sick of SOUP) however, cabbage soup that my mom makes is probably my favorite. it’s so comforting and she always makes it for me when i’m sick so idk nostalgia and feel good vibes.

3. What is your favorite…rock (idfk)?

funny story about rocks: my favorite type of rock (as in, how they’re formed) is igneous rocks. fire rocks >>> (i too wanted to be a geologist growing up lmao). in third grade a boy i was friends with went on vacation and brought me back an igneous rock—like literally got it checked out and everything to make sure it was—bc he knew i liked them, and asked me out lmao. as i am super awkward and he was just a good friend to me i turned him down (plus we were seven? tf lol) but it was probably one of the cutest ways i’ve ever been confessed to, only second to my partner and so so thoughtful.

jeffery if you see this, i wish i still had that rock but it got lost in a move. rip the dream but it was so sweet lol.

I also feel the emotional thing regarding reactivity: my dog is both human and dog reactive and I'm extremely emotional, so part of our trainers training is to get me be less touched when He Does What He Does: and it works! But also the vigilance and I know my dad gets it, but my brother, for example, doesn't, so he doesn't understand why I get upset that he didn't tell me he invited friends randomly, lol. Also, tikok or Instagram trainers with notoriously easy to train breeds who decided they're now and authority on dog training and everyone with a reactive dog is just not training hard enough.... to end this, my controversial opinion is that my reactive dog is making me a better owner and everyone should have a reactive dog to some degree at least once, just so they know what it's like.

tangential but i also wish there was just a little less stigma around "reactivity" vs "aggression," because i feel like both of these get lumped together as reactivity which - i get it, but i also think it's unfair.

ie sparta i think can fairly be described as reactive, as she has a loud and forward reaction to arousal and frustration (on leash especially) but with a little bit of effort on my part she's a dream.

vs junior who i'd call fear-aggressive, would go in and create distance with whatever means he had at his disposal (which was mostly a whole lot of noise but he couldn't be trusted to not also bring teeth) whenever he felt unsure or unsafe.

one is yknow. frustrating but generally manageable, while the other is a fresh-baked hell for everyone involved.

tbf i can't go with you on your final point - simply because i think there shouldn't be enough fearful dogs to go around 😂

#but this also taps into why i care more about reaction patterns when spooked than whether a dog spooks #which is a tangent im not going on tonight dont worry
