You mentioned in one of the asks that some countries are like a prototype/based of our existing countries, like Germany=Mondstadt, Liyue=China, Inzauma=Japan....
So even though the language is more or less identical for you to make heads and tails in a conversation or writing in a book, the reverse side does not.
Creator!Reader who knows a couple of languages (plus points if they're atleast fluent or have a understanding of it despite not being able to speak said language) and being born from a country that doesnt have the same language as the countries Teyvat based off. Basically Spanish, Italian, Filipino, Scandinavian languages that also have their own way of writing.
Imagine feeling homesick and the only thing that keeps you occupied is the notebook and pen you have while the others converse in a meeting or in a hangout. You started writing in your tongue and re-reading it to relive memories.
Zhongli, AlHaitham, Albedo, Jean, maybe the Berry bros too (Diluc & Kaeya) get curious only to have a double-take and immediately thinks that maybe there is a forgotten land in Teyvat that has this language, I mean Morax stayed faithful to Liyue and Barbatos blessed his country with abundance of supplies and freedom. Teyvat gods and archons played favourites, so why wouldn't you as well? (Bonus: Khaenriah flashbacks) (also I know these arent enough characters but how should I know? I only have a handful of them and I ran out of Primos😭
The people from Akademiya though? I mean they went hard on theorizing and picking apart the language of their creator. Have you seen Matpat's descent to insanity the more FNAF continues to push out LoRe? Thats basically them because Teyvat doesn't have a country based on Creator's birth country. They're grasping nothing but air and dead ends and the only lead they have is you, but couldnt ask because you look so down and they cant bear to see Creator sad....

While everyone else was unprepared, bc u were like… the oldest deity, more legend than history, so ppl just thought Morax was a little overly faithful …so when it actually happened,, Morax was just smirking as he watched ur golden shooting star streak the night sky… while absolute pandemonium consumed the mortals and adepti in liyue lmao

the food, and the looks, makes it your favorite restaurant in Liyue, the Liuli Pavilion a little too fancy for casual dining, afterall, Zhongli would know
He’s tried to keep track of your favorite places to be in Liyue too, and kept his near full attention on what you say when he asks after your stays in Liyue (he hasn’t felt the need to pay that much attention or felt that much interest in conversation partners in… decades?)
So when you come out of the kitchen, throwing your head back and laughing, "Sí, sí! It all tastes so close Xiangling! Gracias, thank you!"
He wants… to know.

a small soft smile pulls at his lips, his eyes half-lidded as they meet yours, his usual red eyeliner framing his monolids perfectly, he looks like he’s been,, well, sculpted from stone, an artwork come to life

the geo god’s pleasantly smooth and deep voice felt so soft asking you that, like he didn’t want to push you one direction or the other
“Oh! Right! Sorry, these are from my home country, back in my world, or at least, as close as Xiangling and I can get to them!”
Your smile brightens your face once more, clearing away any leftover stormclouds from your mood earlier, and as you launch into explaining (Xiangling had to get back to orders, so it’s just you two now)
You list it all, the quintessential: quesadillas, empanadas, tamales, chorizo (you had to combine at least 5 different spices to Mondstadt sausages to get anywhere close to the real thing) the dips obviously, salsa, queso, guacamole, and the easy street tacos, and finally the horchata, but also all the weird fruits Teyvat has with chile, like Sunsettias mixed with Harra from Sumeru or Lavender melons with Wolfhook berries… all surpringly pretty good
(the Sun-Harra combo tastes like mango, a sort of deeper taste of pineapple/kiwi and a sort of light orange taste? all with the nice addition of chile flavors, the Lavender melons and Wolfhooks helped imitate chamoy enough that your heart was satisfied)
…you realize you’ve just been talking about the last meal you had with your family/friends instead of the food after a bit, and Zhongli hasn’t said anything…
you trail off and look back over your shoulder (u were practically about to get your shirt in the imitation guac u were leaning so far over the table to point and talk)
you’re about to sheepishly apologize for taking over the conversation, and ask if he wants to try anything (Zhongli can handle spice so u dont have to worry abt that at least)
but as u finally see his face, u just stop, and dont end up saying anything
He’s just, looking at you.
his smile's not huge, but big enough to make his eyes look happy, and Zhongli’s just… looking at you.
You can’t describe the look he’s giving you, but you suddenly feel… a wave of shyness wash over your heart in your chest, because he’s looking almost like, maybe like, he’s sort of, waiting for you to keep talking, his tan skin warm in the golden rays of the sun beginning to set, you don’t know why you’re noticing any of these things, and he gently, slowly, makes a move to lean into your space a little
almost above your armrest, head inches from your shoulder, he finally moves to stop looking at you-
He looks like a painting as he looks down, his eyelashes almost sitting on his high cheekbones,
you have to move your head to looking at the table too as he moved so close,
you feel your shoulders reflexitively hitch upwards as you brushed the hair on the side of his head as you turned away
He looks around, and then moves his head, not his body, he’s still leaning toward you, to look you right in the eyes again
“Why did you stop? I haven’t said much, I apologize, but it’s only because I wanted to hear you without anything interrupting you.”
You cough a little strained, “Oh! Oh I get it now yeah, thanks-”
“I want to hear you more,” his black eyes begin to warm with gold, you can vaguely see the shape of his diamond pupil revealing itself, “I want to hear about… everything, if you’ll tell me? The language, the food, the drinks, your family, your dances, your country, I want to hear it all. Won’t you please let me hear your voice some more?”

Ask Answers: May 15th Part 2
And here’s the next part of the long answer set of the day!
When will OL: N&F take place? Beginnings and Always took place during summer breaks, will now and forever take place during a fall break or will the characters be going to school at the time of the events we play through?
It takes place over all of the fall season, so school will be happening in OL2. Some events do take place in school, though many times events only start after school is already out for the day, haha.

Haha, yeah! The Closer and, to a lesser degree, Medium were the kind of shows I was referencing there. My mom also used to watch those back in the day.
Hey um this might be an odd question but if the setting of OL: N&F is fall/autumn, what country or city will it take because my mind tells me it is either Poland or Canada. Also I can't wait for the game I am hyped
It’s set in the USA again. We’d like to be able to have cameos and that’s easiest to do if the OL games take place in the same country.
Is it possible for the PC of OL to have non-seriously dated other people in the in between years even if they’ve had a consistent crush on Cove?
You can causally date Baxter in Step 3 if you get his DLC and then ultimately choose Cove in Step 4. If you mean off-screen people, it doesn’t really come up, but you can certainly headcanon that. The game never says Cove is the only partner you’ve ever had.
Is there going to be a Kickstarter for Now and Forever as well? For like voiced names and stuff again? Didn’t find B&A until after it was released and I’d really love the opportunity to hear my name in the game 🥺
Yeah, we are gonna have a Kickstarter with getting a voiced name as a reward! Though, it will be more expensive than it was for OL1. I feel bad to raise the price but we realized too late the first time around that it was being super undersold for the amount of work it took, aha.

May i ask how the Derek DLC will work? I believe that there aren’t any memories in step 4 and doesnt derek’s dlc take place during that step? So will the dlc add memories? Thank you!
Derek’s DLC will add five Moments to Step 2 (a new page will appear on that screen if you get the DLC). Then in Step 4 you’ll have to choose between playing the default epilogue or going through the Derek romance story.
Is the pc version on itch,io different from the steam version? Like an offline one or something?
Steam has achievements, but that’s about it. Both can be played offline, if you prefer.
I've been wondering this for awhile, what determines if cove winds up with a ponytail in step 3? I've done multiple runs with different MCs with varying hairstyles. Or does it have to do with a particular moment in step 2?
I’m afraid I can’t say exact choices that determine things. But generally it’s preference based options in the Step before that decide those things.

No, the artist had to leave the project and it’s been on-hold. I’m not sure if I want to try working just with what we have or replacing it all entirely. The design is a bit too specific for us to easily find someone who could mimic it. Hopefully we’ll work things out later, though.
In step 3 is Cove's plan always to stay in sunset bird?
Yeah. He is never ready at 18-years-old to make a big life change.

Step 4 is only an epilogue, so it’s just a long series of scenes one after the other rather than a collection of Moments you can choose from.
The Step 4 epilogue is free, the wedding DLC, Derek DLC, and Baxter DLC cost money.
i’m not sure how much of the wedding dlc you have planned already, or if this would be to spoilery, but what kind of wedding traditions will be included? i keep thinking about how flustered cove would get over a garter toss & was wondering if we’d see a scene like that haha. obviously no worries if it’s not included, i’ll enjoy literally anything cove related
I don’t know for sure yet, haha. Right now we’re focused on the parts before the big day. We’ll see how many scene alterations we can include for the wedding itself later on.

I’m afraid Q’s full name hasn’t been publicly announced yet so I can’t answer here (Q and T are the first letters of the names for the new LIs in Our Life: Now & Forever).
Question; is the steam version getting a Mac update? I purchased the dlc there thinking it had Mac support without realizing it and just wondered if I’d need to refund it to purchase on itch.io 😭
I’m really sorry, you will need to get a refund from Steam. We do hope to have it there for Steam eventually, but have no idea of when it’ll happen. Apple requires special notarization to be an officially accepted app for their devices. We don’t have that. Steam requires having that, Itch will let you release it as an non-notarized third party app. That’s why Itch is the only place that has the Mac version right now.
would you mind posting outfit sheets for Cove in every step? it would make things a lot easier for us artists. it would save a lot of time spent looking for references
I think we did do the earlier steps when they were finished way back in 2019 (this game took a long time to make, aha), but we can probably repost them sometime!
In our life n&f, will we be able to get into qprs/will there be more options in regards to having deep platonic relationships with the love interests? Because as an aroace individual, it would be great if there could also be emphasis on platonic love so that it's more aspec inclusive.
It’s a little hard to say at this point. There may not be things like a wedding DLC for OL2 and so the relationship for platonic and romantic feelings might not go as far as it did in the first game. We’ll kind of have to see how much we can do based on timeframe/budget constraints that will only be set near the end of the year. But we will be keeping things like that in mind at least.

also i noticed that in some playthroughs cove would let me give him a piggy back ride, and in some he wouldn't, how come?
how does your choices affect cove's interests or looks? i replayed the game without changing any choices but i got cove to look different, is it just random?

Cove’s favorite flavors are ones with nuts and that are fruity! But he appreciates them all. Whether or not you can give him a piggyback ride depends on if your MC is fit/large enough to hold a muscular 6-foot-tall beach boy, haha.
Cove’s appearance does depend on choices and it’s generally tied to choices that are preference based rather than emotion/action based, such as which key chain you pick in Step 1.
Is it possible for cove to reject MC's proposal at the end of step 3?
Nope. He’ll always accept.
hi! i was wondering how heavily the side characters will be featured in the our life wedding dlc? obviously it'll be cove & mc focused, but i was thinking it'd be sweet if we could take lizzie dress / suit shopping or dance with cliff at the wedding or something.
The side characters are there about as often as they are in normal events. So, it’s clearly focused on Cove but he’s not the only person you have any meaningful moments with.
When will responses be sent out to applicants?
I’m afraid we don’t send responses out to all applications, only ones we’re interested in offering the position to. Not everyone likes rejection emails and the amount of applications is too high to contact them all to say we’re not hiring them. We post updates on the job page when a position has news. Right now we’ve filled every role that was open.
Is there also going to be the option to keep your relationships with the love interests platonic in Our Life: Now and Forever? That's something I really appreciate in Our Life: Beginnings and Always

I was wondering, in the Step 3 Happiness moment, what are the different fishes Cove can compare MC to? I got "you'd be a paradise fish, because being with you is paradise," but my friend got "you'd be an angelfish." Are there more variations?
He says paradise fish if you’re a couple, angelfish if he’s just crushing, and then a royal dottyback/queenfish/emperor tetra (based on your gender) if he likes the MC platonicly.
Hello! So, in one of the Step 3 DLCs, Cove's arm was gone. I think it was to show him putting his arm behind his back. But if that wasn't the case, did it get yeeted?
Thanks for letting us know. That was an error we tried to fix a little while back. When did you make the save file you were playing? If it was older that might be why it happened. Or maybe the error wasn’t fully fixed after all.
Asking for your opinion, but do you think Cove would at all be into ABBA? Because all I could imagine during the car trip in step 3 was him and the MC belting to Mamma Mia.
Haha, yeah, there’d definitely be some ABBA songs he was into.
So throughout the game, Cove can develop different interests depending on the player’s choices; does this mean that he can have different careers in Step 4? Or his is line of work in adulthood never mentioned at all?
He can have different career paths in Step 4!

It’s just a bonus side story that’s fully separate from the main game.
It would be nice to have one for Step 4 too, but I sadly don’t see us having time to actually do it. I don’t know, if people are still asking for more OL1 content several months from now it might be doable and worth doing.

ngl Step 4 Terry's design reads like y'all see trans guys as their assigned gender more than you see them as men to me (a trans guy)... like maybe if he isn't heavily dysphoric, I could see it, but everything you've said about him doesn't line up with that. Even then, immediate warning bells go off in my head looking at him. I wouldn't have touched the game if I saw him ahead of time.
I’m sorry you aren’t comfortable with the way the design looks. The situation with Terry is that he’s now open about who he is, but the body he was born with is still physically the same. He only came out recently as an adult and hasn’t gone through any treatments/procedures yet (his chest is flatter because he wears a binder). However, even though his body hasn’t transitioned at the point Step 4 happens, no one treats him as anything other than the guy he is. Having a trans character who’s identity is supported/respected from the start is what we’re going for in this case. But what we’re doing with Terry isn’t the only trans content we’ve ever had/ever will have in the future.

I imagine it’d be pretty opposite experiences, haha. Bae would initially think Baxter is pushy and thoughtless, but would quickly realize, oh, he’s instead a soft, considerate boy. Very cute. Baxter would first be struck with the impression that Bae is charming and gentlemanly, but then would realize that, no, he’s a sarcastic asshole. And I’m afraid we can’t reveal the personalities for the next game yet.

Fate and Phantasms #188
Today on Fate and Phantasms we’re building the greatest robot ever built in Sengoku period Japan, Katou “Black Kite” Danzo! This amazing automaton is a Thief Rogue to speed up her limbs and get some ninja mobility, as well as an Alchemist Artificer so she can really fly, make objects disappear and reappear, and even make those awful rice balls.

Race and Background
Danzo’s a Karakuri Puppet, but D&D races don’t get that specific, so we’ll just have to call her a Warforged instead. This gives her +2 Constitution and +1 in any other ability, and we want Dexterity. Her Constructed Resilience gives advantage on saves against being poisoned, and she gets resistance to poison damage. She also doesn’t need to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep, and she can’t get sick. As a bonus, this means she doesn’t need to take any of the Fuuma clan’s medicine, thank god.
She still has to take long rests though, but a Sentry’s Rest reduces the time to six hours. You’re still conscious, but you can’t move if you want the rest.
Thanks to your wooden body, you can use Integrated Protection to fuse yourself into your armor, granting you a +1 bonus to AC, and preventing it from being removed against your will. Your Specialized Design also gives you proficiency with Medicine and Woodcarver’s Tools.
Like Paraiso, you’re also a magic assassin, so Volstrucker Agent is pretty accurate. This background gives you proficiency with Deception and Stealth.
Ability Scores
As usual, we’re using the standard array for maximum replicability. From high to low:
Still a ninja, still starting with a really high Dexterity. Unlike Kotarou, your ninja tricks come from your Intelligence. Also, you’re a robot; you’ve got to be pretty smart to know how you work, and you have a big chunk of the Fuuma clan’s history stuck in your head. Third is Constitution- you’ll happily sit in a cave for several centuries and not die, which is pretty impressive. Your Wisdom is above average, because I can’t think of anything specific you do that uses wisdom, but it’s still probably better than a regular person’s. Your Strength is probably lower than it should be, but it’s not like we really need it that much. That means we’re dumping Charisma. You don’t really “get” people that well.
Class Levels
Artificer 1: Starting off as an artificer is pretty neat, giving you proficiency with Constitution and Intelligence saves, as well as two artificer skills- Arcana is the closest thing we have to science in D&D, and Sleight of Hand will probably help with the bull swallowing we’ve got to do later.
You also get Magical Tinkering when you start out, letting you tack minor magical effects onto tiny objects. A pebble that constantly sounds like someone walking around is a useful distraction.
Despite artificers being a half casting class, they also get Spells this level, which you can cast and prepare using your Intelligence. For cantrips, I suggest picking up Mending to patch yourself up, as well as Create Bonfire for a quick and easy firestarter. Literally setting places on fire is also a great distraction, if a bit more obvious.
For first level spells, I suggest picking up the classic suite of “barely spells” spells, like Grease, Alarm, and Snare. You should also grab Cure Wounds for some quick and dirty rice balls, as well as Jump and Feather Fall for Katou Danzo’s wind manipulation. There aren’t many offensive options for wind in D&D, but I can promise you’ll be very mobile by the end of this build.
Artificer 2: The big reason we started as an artificer is to grab Infused Items as quickly as possible. Starting at this level you can hold onto four blueprints for magic items, and can make up to two of them at a time, switching them out between long rests.
Now you can make a Bag of Holding for some real bull swallowing (not literally though, those suckers are several times your weight limit), a Rope of Climbing for a grappling hook that attaches itself, a Returning Weapon so you’re not stuck picking up your kunai after every fight, or you can apply Enhanced Defense on some armor for even more AC.
Rogue 1: Now that your initial ninja tricks are set up, we still have to, y’know, get good at ninjaing. (Ninjing? Whatever.) Bouncing over to rogue gives you Investigation proficiency for expert analysis plus Thieves’ Tools for dismantling traps, as well as Expertise in Acrobatics and Stealth for double proficiency bonuses on all your ninja techniques.
You also get a Sneak Attack once per turn, dealing an extra 1d6 damage to your target while using a finesse weapon and if you either have advantage on the attack, or have an ally within 5 feet of them.
Also also, you get Thieves’ Cant. It’s a language.
Rogue 2: Second level rogues get a speed boost thanks to Cunning Action. Now you can use your bonus action to Dash, Disengage, or Hide. All very ninja-y, I assure you.
Rogue 3: Going into the Thief subclass lets you overclock yourself even further thanks to your Fast Hands. Now your cunning action lets you make sleight of hands checks, use thieves’ tools, or use objects as a bonus action. Plus, your sneak attack is 2d6 now!
You’re also accustomed to Second-Story Work, so you climb as quickly as you walk, and your running jumps get boosted by your dexterity modifier. Combining this with Jump starts your ascent into a proper Black Kite- with a running start you can jump almost 40′ across, or almost 20′ straight up. You can also jump over most humanoids, clearing seven and a half feet on long jumps.
Rogue 4: Use your first Ability Score Improvement to bump up your Intelligence for stronger artificer spells and medicines.
Artificer 3: Now that we’ve got a base level of ninjositude down, we can bounce back to artificer for more clever tricks. Right off the bat, you can always create The Right Tool for the Job over the course of a short rest, though you can only make one kind of tool at a time. (If you make new tools, the old ones get jealous and leave, I guess.)
You also get goodies exclusive to the Alchemist subclass though, like proficiency with Alchemist’s Tools, Healing Word and Ray of Sickness as prepared spells, and the ability to craft Experimental Elixirs.
When you finish a long rest, you can make one such elixir, with a random effect you find out when you create it. There’s a lot, so I’m not going to list them all here. The elixir only lasts until your next long rest, so you can’t stock up. That being said, you can create more elixirs at a time as you level up.
Artificer 4: Use this ASI for more Dexterity, for more accurate and deadly kunai strikes.
Artificer 5: Fifth level alchemists become Alchemical Savants, adding their intelligence modifier to spells that heal or deal acid, fire, necrotic, or poison damage. Playing to character means you won’t be using this much aside from the healing, but you also get second level spells!
You get Flaming Sphere and Melf’s Acid Arrow for free, but we’re here more for the other spells you can prepare, like grabbing Levitate for some discount flight (hey, if you use your rope of climbing to grapple onto things you can probably get some good speed going...), Invisibility for better bull swallowing that can actually swallow a bull, Enhance Ability to just try a little harder, and Blur for some swirly wind nonsense that makes you harder to fight. If King Arthur can do it, so can you.
Artificer 6: Sixth level artificers get Tool Expertise, doubling your proficiency with any tool check you’re already proficient in. You can also cast Message at this point because you’ve worked in Chaldea too long for them to not give you a freaking walkie talkie, and you learn two more item infusions, and you can build one more at a time. Boots of Elvenkind will silence your footsteps, and Boots of the Winding Path can help you ninja vanish back along the steps you took this turn. There’s an obvious problem that you can’t wear both sets at once, but you’re probably not even making both at once, so...
Artificer 7: Seventh level artificers get Flashes of Genius, letting you add your intelligence modifier to an ability check or saving throw happening within 30 feet of you. You can use this Intelligence Modifier times per long rest. If scifi has taught me anything, all robots are calculating the seven billion ways an event could go at any one time, so finding the three that lead to success shouldn’t be that hard.
Rogue 5: Bouncing back to rogue for a bit brings your sneak attack up to 3d6, and also unlocks your Uncanny Dodge, spending your reaction to halve the damage of an attack coming your way.
Rogue 6: Sixth level rogues get another round of Expertise, so double down on Investigation and Arcana for extra robosmarts.
Rogue 7: Your sneak attack gets as good as it ever will at 4d6, and you learn Evasion, supercharging your dexterity saves. Successes completely negate damage, and failures only deal half damage. Just... don’t stand in the fireball. Why do so few people get that?
Artificer 8: We’re back in artificer to stay now, so bump up that Intelligence for stronger spells as well as more and stronger flashes of genius.
Artificer 9: Ninth level alchemists stick Restorative Reagents in their medicines, adding 2d6+ your intelligence modifier temporary hit points to your experimental elixirs, regardless of their other effects. You also learn how to cast Lesser Restoration Intelligence Modifier times per long rest without using spell slots. The Fuuma clan’s medicines are effective, if nothing else.
You also learn how to cast third level spells, like Mass Healing Word and Gaseous Form. I mean, I guess the latter spell is flying, but it’s not Fly flying, you get me? You can also use Tiny Servant to create puppets of your own, Water Walk to walk on water like the ninja you are, as well as Haste and Blink to supercharge your mobility.
Artificer 10: Tenth level artificers are Magic Item Adepts, letting you attune to one more magic item at once, and you can craft common or uncommon magic items faster and cheaper.
You also get two more blueprints for infused items, and one more you can make at a given time. Boots of Striding and Springing will make your jumps even more ridiculous, and the Ring of Jumping will clear up some prep space and save you a spell slot or two.
Using both of those items at the same time basically let you fly without the spell, letting you jump 120 feet forward or 63 feet straight up, and your long jumps can pass over obstacles that are 22 feet tall. You can leap small buildings in a single bound.
Artificer 11: At eleventh level, artificers can create Spell-Storing Items, stuffing magic into weapons or spell focuses. You can stick a 1st or 2nd level spell in the object, and creatures can cast the spell from that object using your spellcasting modifier and the creature’s concentration. The item holds 2xIntelligence Modifier charges, but you can only have one SSI at a time.
Artificer 12: Use your last ASI to max out your Intelligence for super strong spells, better Flashes of Genius, and more Spells in your items!
Artificer 13: Your capstone level gets you fourth level artificer spells, like the freebies Blight and Death Ward. You can also use these slots to cast spells like Leomund’s Secret Chest for more effective bull swallowing. The bag of holding can still be messed with, and turning stuff invisible doesn’t get rid of it, but the Secret Chest will just hang out in a different dimension til you need it again. Also, you only have to cast it once every two months! You can also Summon Construct to make your own dolls to help out in combat. Sadly there isn’t a wood option, but this is as close as we’re gonna get.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
Flying is good. Like, really good. And you’re so mobile you can fly without flying. You’re so good at jumping you take falling damage just by making a long jump.
With your expertise, enhanced ability, and flashes of genius, you can be pretty good at most skills if you really need to be.
Artificers make really cool toys, but most are limited by only having one action per turn. Thanks to your fast hands, you can make even better use of your infusions by using your bonus actions to either double up on item uses or multitask.
Cons:
We didn’t take that many levels of rogue, so your damage is a lot lower than your fleshier ninja counterparts.
While your magic and infused items are useful, they all get shut down immediately in anti-magic zones, giving you a big weak point most DMs won’t hesitate to smash.
While I wouldn’t call having extraneous spells a weakness, especially from a player’s perspective, it is kinda sloppy building on our end. Outside of healing word you really wouldn’t use the other subclass spells you get if you’re playing to character.

okay okay hear me out ... a “compilation” of moments when the reader wears the boyz clothes 🥺
Rafe had a habit of leaving his shirts all over your house.He had his own section in your closet for all the things he left.One of those things was a gray button up.He had worn it to some sort of meeting with Wared, ripping the material off as soon as he entered your house, claiming that he was ‘over it’.You figured that meant that you could keep it, wearing it over a black tanktop with some sweatpants.Those sweatpants were also his but if you folded them just right he would never know.You heard him beep from outside, pulling on your backpack before walking out of the house and shutting your door behind you, getting into his truck.You two were going to the craft store to buy some string and beads to make some bracelets, Kelce and Topper too busy doing whatever it was that they did in their free time.Probably rock hunting.Rafe grinned at you, reaching for your hand as always before backing out of the driveway, not noticing your outfit until he pulled into the dunkin donuts drive thru. “Where did you-what?”He asked, trying to figure out when you had got that shirt. “What?”You asked innocently, grinning. “Thats not-you cant just-why?”He asked, staring at you.You raised your eyebrows, shrugging. “I don't know what the hell you’re talking about.”You replied, taking the iced coffee from his hand.
You yawned, standing up.You found one of Kelce’s pastel shirts on the floor, unclipping your bra and sliding it on over your body.It waws one of the many shirts he had ordered online that ended up being far too big for him which meant it would be more fun for you to wear.Your hair was a mess, a few pieces sticking out but you couldn't care less, walking down the stairs slowly.You werent sure if the boys had stayed the night or not, last seeing them at two in the morning the previous night.Kelce and Topper were the only ones who stayed over which meant that Rafe had to go to some sort of business meeting with his dad or he needed to let Wheezie know that he was still alive.The two boys were currently on the floor, their hair just as messy as yours as they scrolled through their phones as they struggled to stay awake. “The sleeping beauty has awoken.”Topper grinned, looking up at you. “Shut up.”You replied, going into the kitchen to make a coffee.Kelce got up, his face having the imprint of your couch as he stumbled into the kitchen to grab himself a mug, glancing at you.His eyes widened, turning entirely to face you. “(Y/N).”He spoke, no longer tired.You hummed, leaning against the counter as you waited for your coffee to brew. “That is my shirt.”He poked at the fabric.You shook your head. “No its not, I got it from Walmart the last time we went.”You told him, trying not to laugh.He frowned, trying to figure out if it were true or not. “No, its not.I ordered it from Amazon two weeks ago.”He argued. “No.”You answered, taking your coffee and scurrying away with it.
Sleeping over Topper’s house was always really fun.You’d get greek salads and boba tea and sit in his mother’s bedroom to eat.She was never home and her room was huge.The bed was large enough for three people and the tv was the size of your kitchen table.You guys always fell asleep on the bed by 9:30 without Rafe and Kelce there to keep you guys awake with their comments about movies and playful bickering.You woke up on the floor, being kicked off the mattress by Topper.He was currently in a starfish position on his stomach, snoring into a pillow.You grinned, wishing you had your polaroid camera.You headed into his room, opening his bottom drawer to where he kept his ‘trash’ shirts that he’d wear whenever he was painting or rock hunting because he didn't care if they got dirty or not.You found your favorite one, a dark purple one with a rip towards the bottom.You pulled it on over the tank top you were currently wearing, going down into his kitchen to make yourself a smoothie bowl, hearing his footsteps not too long after. “Hey, have you talked to-is that my rock hunting shirt?”He asked, stepping closer to you as he looked for the rip. “Is that my bra?”You asked, pointing past him.He turned around, glancing around his kitchen.You quickly ran upstairs, laughing as you locked yourself in his room. “YOU LITTLE SHIT!”He shouted, running up the stairs after you.

Spoilers - Multiverse of Madness News Thoughts
When i heard about someone from fox verse gonna fight Wanda, i rambled about this
Magneto. Dadneto. Bring him here. He is so much powerful and layered. They probably don’t but this one would serve epic.
Peter Maximoff aka Fietro.
Magik, aka Ilyana Rasputin. Give me Magik with them. She is magic. Stephen could mentor her. She is powerful.
Phoenix. Jean Grey. But the original one, i mean first xmen trilogy one, not the young one. And bonus points if not Dark Phoenix but an actually in control of it Jean. Scarlet Witch VS Phoenix. Thats the way.
Storm. What Ororo does there i dont know but she can stood her ground to Scarlet Witch.
Psylocke. She has power but i dont think she could if she doesnt get a power up.
Nightcrawler. She cant catch him so it would be a mouse cat play, not an epic fight probably.
If Professor X is there he would just try to adopt all of them so he wont fight, if it is not an evil Professor X.
Everyone else is probably cant stand against Wanda. if something takes most of Wanda’s powers, that might work but will it be an epic fight? Magneto and Magik, or Phoenix could deliver it. Or Fietro because they already used him once.
Ah, i forget Emma Frost. She could stand against Wanda too. But they didn’t use her again for a long time so probably not her.
It might be a villain too but only Apocalypse could do it, but Oscar Isaac cast as Moon Knight. It might come to that they lied about a character from fox-verse but a cast choice of it and bring in Moon Knight debut. Moon Knight could be there, it would make sense.
And also, Gambit? Rogue? Not likely but it might be.
So it is apparently Professor X. They really want Wanda to focus on her Mind altering/mind fucking powers, aren`t they. Professor X would be her best challenge in regard to that. But i cant see how it is gonna be better than that fight? I kinda think it might look like the Vision/WhiteVision fight? Or when Charles went against Apocalypse? Or both i guess.
But there is other characters too, so if they are included things could change.
It is said that this team will include Professor X, Captain Carter, Balder the Brave, Monica Rambeau and Mordo.
Captain Carter is from What If. Balder is Thor`s brother probably from somewhere from multiverse(Loki gonna be there. It would be good.). Monica Rambeau probably comes with Wanda. Mordo is obviously Strange related.
And people are assuming Wanda is the Villain. It is goddamn multiverse. We don`t know if Charles fighting Wanda doesn`t have it is causes other than Wanda being the Villain. Sure she has Villain roles as much as hero roles in the comics, so it might be surprise. But it also would make sense, her being a villain, if she is gonna get more screen time like that.
But on related note, i want Wanda to be the main Villain and Doc Strange to seal her into the Hel dimension, where Mephisto is. Because i want Mephisto involved damn it, but he is a little bit controversial character to include in long haul. He is the devil in the end. But Mephisto torturing Wanda, and Young Avengers, with Tommy and Billy coming to rescue her would be feat.
But is there any news of WandaVision season 2? It might be Young Avengers show. It is a possibility. It could happen. Young Avengers are here, they could give a disney+ show about it.
Still Wanda`s Powers are meant to destroy the world. This might be the reason they are gonna use her as villain, assuming she is the Main Boss Villain, or she could be a Villain only.
It would also explain what Maria Rambeau/Photon doing there. She did witness it, she might come to warn them and go her way to Captain Marvel. I don`t even know if some characters are gonna stay until the end, Marvel does this, they did it from the beginning, i will expect that.

danny phantom season 2, ep 12-16 thoughts! these episodes, in comparison to the first 10 or so, felt way more laid back and low-stakes, which I appreciate sometimes. I didn't appreciate how lazy jack's halfa design was in masters of time, it made me so annoyed I redesigned it. 👎🏻 u_u

-tucker is so under appreciated in his time. if he was doing a tech-based campaign today he'd have a better shot. people in 2004 had NO IDEA how much tech would be a part of our day-to-day lives...altho. tbh if you're going to be running for student council president, maybe you should..focus on things to actually improve the school? since he's going for a tech angle, he could say like, he would be running fundraisers for the schools computers to be upgraded, etc? we've already SEEN he can be good at money-making entrepreneur type stuff!!

-this episode is giving me big 'plankton makes everyone in bikini bottom his slaves and build monuments of him from the spongebob movie' vibes. and the pharaoh has a traitor who works for him? VERY big yugioh vibes. aknadin confirmed
-I like that danny is still completely exhausted after using ghostly wail. (still patiently waiting on him to get duplication)
-LOVE the fenton's 80s outfits. I get hes 14 and embarrassed by everything they do because theyre his parents, but. cmon, this is one objectively cool thing theyve done. love 80s fashion.
-...was vlad just standing on that streetlight waiting for danny to come out? how'd he know they'd be coming out the back? how long has he been up there???
-oh, wait, his ecto-acne has flareups? that SUCKS. danny was...well I dont want to say he was LUCKY HE HALF-DIED, but he was lucky his was pretty instant (I'm assuming that had to do with the power/scale of the portals being different?) I remember in the ep we met him, vlad made a point of saying he was stuck in a hospital for a long time, so. that really actually sucks and I feel bad. not that it excuses anything he's done...but like. it does suck.
-vlad being so sure danny wouldnt help him he made it somehow contagious to his friends to make sure he'd get help? danny is a nice boy, he wouldve helped if it was anyone else. the only reason he wouldn't have is because of the shit vlad did to him, on purpose. vlad 100% dug his own grave by being the biggest asshole, so it is very hard to feel bad for him.
-clockwork is back!!! and making danny learn lessons The Hard Way. Uhhh, okay. I kind of get Danny’s logic, that time traveling this far back would prevent vlad from becoming a halfa also, ergo no arch nemesis or ectoacne to worry about. But the fact that was basically the first solution Danny came up with to solve this problem is actually so funny. It’s so extreme

-vlad telling maddie in the lab (in the 80s) he has something he's wanted to tell her 'for a long time'...how long have they known each other? I assumed they met in college, since jack always calls vlad his college buddy/roommate, so jack and vlad for sure met in college, but did vlad know maddie longer? thats surprising if so. Tho we don’t know what year of college they’re in so they could mean they met as freshmen and a few years have past…speaking of maddie shes crushing the 80s look.
-vlad blames jack, but. maybe dont stick your face 2 inches from the portal??! THIS FEELS LIKE LAB SAFETY BASICS. IF SOMETHING HAS POTENTIAL TO BE DANGEROUS, DONT GET NEAR IT. WITH YOUR FACE UNPROTECTED IN ANY WAY. (altho jack didnt really give a Big Warning besides screaming BONZAI. so. also that, but cmon.) also, they need gloves, goggles, and to pull all of their hair back tbh. but fuck lab safety, I guess!
-cryyyyinnng at how lazy they were with jack's ghost form design, its just plasmius' design on jack!!! you couldve given him his own design!!
-there. I did that in about 10 minutes and its somehow less lazy than what made it into the show. embarrassing! better yet, I think the episode would've been better if maddie would've gotten the ectoacne. or maybe its just me, wanting to see her design! anyway. I'm sure people have already done redesigns of them both as halfas. I have to go look after I finish this watch through. Also mildly frustrated jacks resentment and bitterness is basically also a copy paste of vlads backstory. They’re different characters, I really don’t think jack would stew in bitterness and jealousy the same way vlad would!! I also don’t think he’d give up after one time of trying to hunt ghosts and getting laughed at. Our canon timeline says different…I dunno, I get it was for laughs, but I’m annoyed because the POTENTIAL this plot has…
-did vlad really wear a stupid cheese hat to his wedding. ok actually that kinda rules. and the cheese door knocker. the dairy-only buffet table. vlad still got rich, just on being the New Dairy King. (Assuming that means he owns a lot of dairy businesses?) ok! this actually is great. hope maddie isn't lactose intolerant!
-'no matter how hard I tried, I could never get rid of my ghost half, the half I knew Maddie could never accept' ohh, ouch, what a horrible thing to say to her HALF GHOST SON. 'YOUR MOM WILL NEVER ACCEPT YOU' BASICALLY.
-maddie strapping danny to the table with a lazer pointed at him in a secret lab she keeps from vlad that she makes a point of saying is sound proof so he can scream all he wants...CHRIST. DANNYS POOR PYSCHE.
-also, not to feel bad for alternate vlad (because, he did lie to maddie saying jack blames her and never wants to see her again...) but. being married to a woman 20+ years and she immediately goes back to jack? if she didnt love vlad and feels like she had to hide shit from him, and says she wasted her best years with him, WHY MARRY HIM. it feels like leading him on!!! cannot believe im feeling bad for vlad, but. this alternate timeline vlad is significantly Less Horrible than Our Vlad. did she not think she'd get funding for her ghost stuff? (which, fair assumption since they're considered 'ghost fanatics/nuts in canon...but...) why did she think jack or vlad would be her ONLY OPTIONS? be like your sister. be single. Actually, this au could’ve been really interesting if after the accident, vlad lied to her and said jack never wanted to see her again, but she stays single. Imagine how much that would bug vlad… like, in her mind, it was never a competition it was jack or no one type situation…
-danny being like 'leave him ALONE' this jack is a HOMEWRECKER, DANNY. let them go to court and settle this at the least. ...or just throw vlad into the portal. (100% human, defenseless vlad) CHRIST, MADDIE THATS BRUTAL. THATS MURDER.
-danny seeing his mom immediately accepting him and his dad being half ghosts in this universe, if I was him this would be a great sign that his universe's maddie would also.
-*maddie voice* "clockwork will help!" *2 seconds later, with clockwork* "I will Not Help." TOUGH LOVE KING. YES LET DANNY SEE THE SODA HIMSELF AND DEVOLP BETTER OBSERVATION SKILLS.
-when clockwork ""reset time to the way it was"" just before danny "meddled"" ...did he really erase a whole alternate timeline? ...damn. because maddie and danny both called it an alternate timeline by name, it splitting when the college incident went different, so it wouldnt have really mattered if he reset it, right. like because danny's timeline is on a different stream? why didnt clockwork just. show danny a replay and not Reset That Timeline. wh...I wonder how many people that Erased From Existence. Anyway! once again stating clockwork is casually terrifying!

so i know the whole point of this game is to fmk 3 characters but like. i kinda wana do it for all of them?

Xemnas : Fuck or Kill.
look its no secret i have a thing for fucked up little men, which org13 has in abundance. Xemnas is cute ok? id like to pull his hair and cuddle with him when he gets his heart back and the guilt and loneliness starts to eat him alive .
that being said he is the most bastardy of the real org. yes master xehanort is the orchestrator but xemnas has the most screen time and the most chance to be a fuck. He kicks xion, boots axel in the head after destroying his keyblade and is the reason kairi got killed. i would sleep with him but id feel disappointed in myself afterwards. might have to kill him just to remove the shame.
Xigbar: FUCK
Honestly ive always had a thing for xigbar. he was never my favorite character but he was the one i was most obsessed with in my writing and comics. i would sleep with him but i feel like he'd get all introspective and possibly start crying because luxu literally hasnt been held in such a long time. im ok with that tbh.
Xaldin: Kill
sorry xal, i might say fuck but you were so unlikeable in kh2 that i still hold a grudge.
i do stan dilan however. he would be on my marry list.
Vexen : god i dont know
so vexen was again, one of my favorite characters. he was a main in my oc's story as a mentor figure, so i cant imagine putting him in the f category. but he's also very rude so i couldn't stand marrying him either? but i still like him so how would i kill him??? god the dilemma. im going to say kill but out of kindness, not dislike.

wow ok soooo 16 year old me had a think for the emo kid, like a lot of people did , i suspect. but mostly i think of what he'd be like as ienzo, just word vomiting and infodumping on me constantly about the things hes passionate about or what he's working on and id be so lucky to just sit and listen to that. also manga zexion is very domestic and i dont know dick about shit when it comes to running a home.

so as much as i would like to fuck saix, i feel like he'd probably make the best husband out of all the org members. hes sensible, no nonsense and actually has a good heart all things considered. hes prime husbando material and the kh fandom has been sleeping on him for the best part of a decade. #Saixstanniesriseup

same as with xemnas, i enjoy fucked up little men far too much to pass up the opportunity to mess with them. however, unlike xemnas, i could actually stand him in my house for extended periods of time. i am not a needy person, i value my personal space and alone time and i feel like someone as solitary as ansem would suit me in a relationship. He is also far more dramatic than xemnas which i enjoy, not to mention much less of a bastard.
well. the xehanort scale of bastardry is on another level compared to the normal fucko scale,so ansem is still a dick, just not as much of a dick as other norts.

im rambeling now, i guess coming back to kingdom hearts after 3 years away from the fandom has just made me a little introspective hah.

PAL I GOT SOMETHING! We all know Kai is a stubborn ass. But think, when he gets all comfortable with S/o he would be sappy as shit. Only when she cant hear. So could you maybe write something similiar? Kai surely has trust and abandonment issues, so he would be carresing her face, murmuring how his angel is the only light of his life, he thinks she is asleep, and with the cherry on top, he brings her close and murmurs shakily at the verge of tears "just don't abandon me in the dark"
*ugly sobbing while doing 👌*
"Is late. Stop making such a fuss about it, you look like a brat." He said nonchalantly but with a bit of irritation as you stuck your tongue out, eager to finally pass that damn cursed phase of your game.
Mimic betted money on this shit, and you aren't losing 80 bucks again!
"Not today satan." You muttered, not noticing how Chisaki's eyes twitched a bit before he let out a sigh and yanked the control out of your hands.
"No!" You whined, making grabby hands at the already overhauled console "I was almost there!" You got up only to bury your face in his chest, suppressing the urge of smirking at how his body tensed a bit "You're so mean..." you groaned as he rolled his eyes, patting your head once or twice as a signal for you to get off from him.
"Sure. Mean is the right word to use against a yakusa boss."
You put your arms behind your back as you walked chest to him and back to your shared bedroom, smilling up at him.
"I would rather call adorable, handsome, love of my-"
"Hush." He hissed while opening the door as he gave you a glare, ears tinted in pink "You went insane or something to call me such things?"
"Hey, I am your partner. If this is what insane means than yep, totally insane here." He scoffed while rolling his eyes at your smirking self.
"You're ridiculous."
"And~" you almost singed while making your way to him "You love me for it!"
"Atture is the best word to use on this to be honest." He arched one eyebrow at you as you fake pouted, huffing a bit but smilling at noticing the hints that he was smirking.
His cheek bones and that look of his, gave it away as always.
"Fine..." you sighed and plopped down on the bed "Ready to call it night then?"
"I've been calling for the past half hour to go to bed you brat." He growled while you shrug.
"Bets with Mimic are always something to be serious about." He almost face palmed at that.
"You idiot needs to stop bargaining with him. Immediately."
He got into bed and you wished him a good night while he only grunted in return, turning off the lamp as he closed his eyes, which you soon did the same, snuggling your self on the crook of his neck despites his grumpy attitude.
Sleep soon came and you were out like a light...

Gentle yet rough fingers danced around the skin of your face... you could feel it.
Yet you didn't opened your eyes, at first thinking it was some of those ultra realistic dreams until you felt a strand of your hair falling, the same hand carresing your jaw and cheek coming to put back on place as a familiar quiet scoff echoed in the room.
"Even sleeping you can still be the incarnation of beauty itself... this is madness." The voice of your boyfriend was so close to your face, his warm breath even bringing you chills from the difference of the temparute of the father cold room.
The voice belonged to Kai, yet it was... different. It was quiet, not filled with power. It was sweet and gentle, not with the usual arrogance or stoicism of his... it was too... soft.
You felt his hand cupping your cheek as his thumb brushed gently over your skin. A rare and quiet chuckle escaped from him and you almost cursed out loud for missing such a sign.
"Heavens (Y/n)... what have you done?" He said as his voice became quieter and quieter, almost as if he was too afraid of wakening you up.
But no. Your Kai Chisaki? Afraid of something?
"Such a despicable creature like me, you made into someone almost too soft to handle with the mafia..." his thumb stopped moving around your cheek to only brush on the slightest on the bottom of your lip "And also make me, out of all people, feel like... are deserved, and believe that a feeling like you gave me... exist."
You wanted to lift your eyebrows and ask what was wrong to him as soon as you notice a little break on his talking, but you remained still, in favor of not ruining his moment... that he clearly did not express it when you were "awake".
"Neither parental love I had. Being throw out on the streets as soon as the incident happened. I was lucky enough to be found by the old man..." by the tone of his voice you could tell that his eyebrows were furrowed, only by remembering that unfaithful day... "And I don't even need to remind the many things you went through only because of me... I took so long to accept such gentle and warm touch, that my stubborn ass simply refuse to have it when you have those beautiful eyes open."
Your heartbeat seemed to stop at that little confession, his hand coming to your hair to untangle some of the knots as his free one replaced the other in your face. And you had to adjust you almost giggled at hearing him swearing.
"... I am pathetic. No matter how much I consider you pure and clean from this world... I still tense at your touch, worry about cleaning and germs. Yet, not only I came to... crave it, but you are the most patient out of both of us angel..." you felt the point of his nose touching your forehead slightly "You deserves so much... yet I am still too selfish to even share the brightness that you bring with the others... this brightness pushed my dark thoughts away... always had, and most probably always will."
You suddenly felt yourself being pulled into his hard and toned chest, his head making home in the crook of your neck as he shakily sighed, clenching on your back.
"Wrap me in your sacred embrace, bathe me with your unconditional love, but don't abandon me in the darkness alone ..." your eyes burned at listening to those words spilling from your boyfriend's mouth, and the urge to cry only intensified when he sniffed and and a certain dampness started to appear on your neck.
The worst? You couldn't move. Since he was opening himself like that because, to him, you were asleep.
He chuckled bitterly as his lips moved in your neck.
"I don't think I could take it that such a divine person like you... left me. Even though you-" you couldn't take it anymore, if he said one more word about this, yourself was going to break down.
How much Chisaki had been boltingdup his emotions? And for how long..?
You pretended to stir in your sleep, stretching your arm to hug him. You got worried at how he quickly silent himself and didn't dare to move a muscle. His body once fully relaxed, now tensed at the threat of you wakening up.
A bit later, some minutes or so, he got just inches away from you, cupping your face in his hand as your faces were not even inches apart.
You could feel his stare at you, and now you could only pray that he still thought you were still sleeping.
He scoffed and you felt his lips in the middle of your forehead then in your lips, soon bringing you his chest again as he combed his fingers in your hair.
"I love you (Y/n)... more than you will ever know." In his voice you could feel his smile on it, making you shut your eyes tight at preventing any tears escaped and fell on him.
He loved you. In his own way he loved you, you knew it already... but hearing him staying so ocassionaly and... peacefully like that, it made your heart burst in joy.
You nuzzled even more to him with a satisfied smile, coming back to dream land at the feeling of your boyfriend's skilled hands combing your hair as the other carresed up and down your back...
Bonus!
You grumbled at feeling the rays of the sun hitting directly at your face. You reached out for the warm chest you so craved for only to whine at only feeling cold sheets beneath your hand.
"Next time listen to me and go sleep on the right schedule." At hearing his voice you immediately smiled, remembering the events of last night as you sitted up on the bed to look at him.
"I swear." He sighed as he put on his gloves and looked at you with those nonchantly golden eyes he had "I am everthing but a babysitter. So I would suggest that you take your sleeping schedules more seriously for once."
He arche done eyebrow as he looked at you, smilling as your gaze never broke from him.
"Are you sick?" He asked nonchantly, but the worry was evident in his eyes, but soon dissapeared when you shook your head, still with that same face "What's that smile for then may I ask?"
You giggled and he only hardened his gaze getting close to you to prove that this was not a joke.
But he got caught out of guard when you cupped his cheeks, caged his legs to bring him closer with your own as your lips made contact with his; since he, luckily for you, hadn't put his mask yet.
His internal gasp was so evident that you wanted to giggle, but you still kissed him passionately, making sure to carres both the back of his head and jaw line as he grunted, finally easing a bit.
Ou parted away to catch your breath as you smiles at the wide eyed man with his cheeks painted in pink. Parting your legs, you rolled to the other side eof the bed, giggling as you make your way to the bathroom.
"C.. Care to explain this bold action and out of no where without a single explanation?" He asked in almost disbelief as you shrugged, smilling sweetly at him.
"Just felt like it. You deserve all the love in the world, Kai Chisaki. And I am making sure I the one bringing it the most possible." His eyes widened a bit before he scoffed and averted his eyes.
"Just get in there already." He said nonchantly ,gaze to the window and back toward you "We dont have all day."
You nodded and opened the door, only peaking at it to see him touching his lips with his gloved hand befor ehe dropped it with a sigh, a very very quiet chuckle as he shook his head.
You finally saw it, the one scene you've been craving since last night. Chisaki's smile.
And you were the one who did that. And surely you couldn't feel more special than you were feeling like now.

Study (?) tips that you don’t see on every study post
Hi gamers, I just finished my first year at college/university!!
This year was really a struggle for me because I was trying to get the help I needed for my mental health, and I did not succeed until literally the week before finals spring term. I just got diagnosed w ADHD and put on meds (thank god) and I’m excited for the next year to come.
Though this year was absolutely grueling I did discover some little tips that can really help ! This is coming from my experience w ADHD but it could relate to other neurodiverse learners as well ! Even if you are neurotypical some of these might help !!
This post got really long so I’m gonna put it under the cut but, main Idea is bolded w a more in depth explanation underneath ( for those like me who see a block of text and go running)
In no particular order:
If you can/are up for it take a class before noon even if you are not a morning person. I am NOT saying take an 8am when u regularly go to bed at 4am! Bc that is dumb bb pls get some sleep. In my experience once I go to class my brain is like “oh things are happening now, it is actually a day and not just existing in a timeless hellscape.”
Once I am out of bed/out of my room I am at least mildly more productive for the rest of the day. Going to a class before noon means you are up and doing things for the day and early enough that you still have light. This ties into the next one
Start while it’s still light out!! At least for me I gain so much happiness from natural light/sunlight, and it is very hard for me to do things let alone START things once it’s dark out because my brain is like nope the day is over now. Plus in the fall/winter days days are getting shorter and shorter so it’s important to make use of as much daylight as you can. I feel like a plant w how much I rely on light to survive but it really does help!
Put on ‘Real People’ clothes. This is something that really helps me, even if it’s just like, jeans and a turtleneck, maybe tucked in w a belt. I’ve found that when I put on academic-y clothes or like Adult clothes it helps me switch my brain into school mode. It’s kinda like putting on a uniform for work? If I’m in too loose of clothes or like pyjamas for example, I’m much less likely to be able to switch my brain into productive mode. For me especially its when i’m wearing tighter clothing rather than baggy ones? Like i said a turtleneck which like the sleeves are fitted to my arms, and jeans or pants that are fitted to my legs. I think it helps because it makes me more aware of my body in the space? Idk. figure out what real people clothes feel like to you, and then have a couple of go to outfits you can slip on when you’ve been in a hoodie and sweatpants all day and really need to get some work done.
On that note, put on shoes. For me along w the tight clothing, I do better in shoes, specifically ones that lace up and can be tight. Like hightop converse, or boots, or even dress shoes w laces. I think in a way my body needs to be contained so I can focus on something? I’m not sure why I feel like that but i’ve learned to work w it. Putting on shoes for me helps because
1. I’m not distracted by what I’m putting my bare feet on (i cannot stand wearing socks unless im wearing shoes so yes bare feet)
2. I’m not getting distracted by my floor n the fact that hey maybe i should sweep bc there are some crumbs sticking to my feet now.
And 3. You put on shoes when you are going to go outside and go somewhere. It’s like putting pyjamas on to go to bed, you’re brain associates those items with doing something, so putting on shoes can signal to your brain hey we are doing something now, and that something is work.
Talk to your teachers !! I understand sometimes you have a teacher from hell and honestly idk what to tell you at that point but in a lot of cases teachers can be very understanding !! The amount of support I’ve gotten from my teachers this year is absolutely insane and 100% the only thing that made it so I didn’t get kicked out of college. Like reaching out to your teachers shows that you care! if you have to take a mental health day sometimes let them know !! i would always let my teacher know that I really wanted to be in class but I just couldn’t handle it that day. They also can help connect you to resources you didn’t know about !
Look into what resources your school has !! I was talking about how next year is gonna go now that I’ve been diagnosed and such with my friend, and how I was gonna contact the DRC (disability resource center) and she didn’t know you could get support for having ADHD!! Like I know you can get extensions on due dates, attendance forgiveness, and even potentially note taking assistance when you have ADHD and talk to them. even if you are medicated it doesn’t 100% solve everything and there are still ways to get support! Whether its study groups, writing centers/support, tutoring, or even contacting your drc or whatever your school has, it can really help!! I’m definitely going to take advantage of these resources if I can next year !
Find a place outside you can go to clear your head (or have a mental breakdown)
I can’t even begin to count the amount of times i’ve been freaking out over something or stressed out of my mind and my room started to feel to stuffy and claustrophobic and i just needed to get OUT. try to make sure it’s somewhere safe and close that you can go to even at night. (maybe try to shoot a text to your best friend that you’re out and if you don’t let them know you’re home by a certain time to start raising alarm, your safety is the most important) I tend to like to be up high because i’m further away from people, and the streets and I’m closer to the sky.
My go to thinking/breakdown spot is the roof of the parking garage a block away. It has stairs that are easy access and the top levels are usually empty even during the day. It really helps me to just go out and listen to music and collect my thoughts sometimes. My head can start going a million directions at lightspeed and I need to stop and be present, and being outside helps. It’s a good way to regroup.
Spend 10 minutes picking up your desk/work space. I tend to let my room get cluttered and messy and out of control a lot, to the point where I know it’s going to take at least a couple hours to get it clean again. It is also hard to focus when you’re in a messy environment. I would stress myself out and be like “well i HAVE to clean my whole room because I can’t focus if my space isnt clean I cant start until I clean” and then I would put all of my productive energy into cleaning, and get maybe halfway done before burning out and going to bed.
You’re never going to get any work done if you keep in this mindset. So instead just spend 10 minutes picking up the garbage off your desk, put the dishes in the kitchen, and put things back in their place. Then you will have enough space to work on your assignment and that space will be free of clutter so it won’t be as stressful.
DRINK WATER DRINK WATER DRINK WATER
Have a water bottle in front of you when you’re studying/in class. I get fidgety a lot when i’m in class/studying (thank u adhd) and so having a water bottle is a way for me to fidget I guess? Depending on the water bottle, you have little steps you have to do to drink that help u fidget,
for example: pick it up, take off the lid, drink, put the lid back on, set it down.
Or pick up, push button that opens drink hole (?), set back down.
When I have a water bottle on my desk it satisfies my need to do something with my body and comes with the bonus of staying hydrated, without me having to lose focus doing something else. Also you won’t get distracted by a sore throat or the realization that you are really thirsty.
Pay attention to why you’re not paying attention. Not everything that works for me is going to work for you, so you have to figure out what works for you. I started to notice that I would be uncomfortable or feel funny working when I was in baggy clothes and that helped me figure out I needed to wear real people clothes. If you find yourself getting distracted, take note of what is distracting you. maybe try literally making a list of things that distract you, so then you can identify patterns and how to combat them !
That’s all I have for now, I hope some of these could maybe help? All of these have helped me actually complete an assignment occasionally, and somehow keep my ass in college. I just want to say that my experience is my own and things that work for me aren’t going to work on every one. college can be really tough, especially your first year when you’re trying to figure everything out. I may not have all the answers but feel free to shoot me a message!! i’m here for you if you want to ramble about an assignment you’re fed up with or a teacher you hate or anything thats bothering you !! Everyone’s college (and life) experience is different so don’t feel bad if yours doesn’t look the same as the people around you ! Remember to take care of yourselves !!!

5e Akali, the Rogue Assassin build (League of Legends)

I mean honestly it’s about time I go around to this. With the year nearing its end (thank fuck) here’s a build I had planned pretty much since the Soulknife subclass was shown. Yeah spoilers I guess Akali’s a Soulknife Rogue because she throws a shit load of knives. No she isn’t an assassin, despite the name of “Rogue Assassin.”
GOALS
You can never have too many kunai - We need a hell a lotta kunai and shurikens to throw at our enemies. Remember that part where I said “Akali’s a Soulknife Rogue?”
Smoked 'em - We’ll need to be able to turn invisible and stay invisible while still being able to hit our foes.
Quick and deadly - You’re quick and deadly like a ninja, with dashes over and around just about everything and swift executions. Almost like you are a ninja.
RACE
Akali is a human, no matter how much training in stealth, spirits, and singing she has. She is however from the magic land of Ionia filled with magic people, and since she probably got some spiritual training from Shen I figured that’s good enough justification for me to grab a Dragonmark! A Mark of Passage Human gets a +2 to Dexterity and a +1 to another ability score: we’ll go for Charisma for K-Pop stans. You can also learn a language of your choice and Sylvan makes sense to speak to the spirits.
You have a Courier's Speed for +5 feet of movement and can add a d4 to Acrobatics or motorcycle land vehicle checks thanks to Intuitive Motion. But the main feature of note is Magical Passage for Misty Step in your pocket once per Long Rest. You know me: gotta have Flash available.
If Dragonmarks aren’t an option: Variant Human with +1 to DEX and +1 to CHA is good enough. Take the Mobile feat at level 1 instead of later in the build, and perhaps invest in Fey Touched or something when the time comes for that feat I don’t know.
ABILITY SCORES
15; DEXTERITY - You run and jump around and throw a lot of knives. Almost like a ninja.
14; CONSTITUTION - Be it Gunblade or Riftmaker, Akali is deceptively survivable. That and even ability scores are nice.
13; CHARISMA - Charisma is tied to performance for Korean raps in whatever band you joined this time. Look I’m not saying I want Akali in Pentakill but...
12; WISDOM - Shen tries to teach you a lot of Wisdom and I’m sure at least some of it got through to you.
10; STRENGTH - ‘Kali got abs. Being a ninja requires 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, and a 10 kilometer run every single day.
8; INTELLIGENCE - Ninjas don’t normally have a good math and science program. The answer to how many kunai you brought is “yes.”
BACKGROUND
While you may have once been part of the Kinkou Order you have since decided to go rogue. When you’re part of a ninja organization killing people is cool, but if you do it on your own you’re just a Criminal. You get proficiency in Stealth but I’m going to suggest replacing your Deception proficiency with Arcana for some teachings thanks to Master Shen. You also get proficiency in Thieves’ Tools (though if you want to min-max I’d perhaps swap this out for something out) but I’m going to suggest replacing your gaming set with a Disguise Kit, because my lord Akali has a lot of skins.
Be it your old connections from the Kinkou Order or a new informant for assassination contracts you have a Criminal Contact that can easily supply info, and who you always have a direct line to. They send the target, you get the kill.

THE BUILD
LEVEL 1 - ROGUE 1
wOw ThE cHaRaCtEr WiTh “RoGuE” iN tHeIr NaMe Is A RoGuE?!?! Blatantly obvious information aside Rogues get proficiency in four different skills! Take proficiency in Acrobatics for ninja stuff, Perception for warding, Intimidation to scare little Noxian kids (hey ninjas are scary!), and Performance for Korean raps.
You also get Expertise in two of those skills: naturally you need Stealth to be a ninja and Performance to be K-Pop artist, so take expertise in both of those. You also know the secret code language of Thieves’ Cant, which only other ninjas (or just regular old Rogues) know.
But of course you can’t be a ninja without knowing how to Sneak Attack. If you attack an enemy that’s distracted by an ally or have advantage to hit a weak point, you do an extra d6 of damage. Don’t worry: your assassination potential only gets better with time.
LEVEL 2 - ROGUE 2
Second level Rogues get Cunning Action for some ninja speed. You can now spend a Bonus Action to Dash, Disengage, or Hide.
LEVEL 3 - ROGUE 3
Yeah spoilers I guess Akali’s a Soulknife Rogue because she throws a shit load of knives. No she isn’t an assassin, despite the name of “Rogue Assassin.”
3rd level Rogues get to choose their Roguish Archetype and Akali is a Soulknife because it turns out psionics is the fastest way to get a shit load of throwing knives thanks to Psychic Blades. When you take the Attack action you can make a psychic knife in your hand that does a d6 of Psychic damage, and you can either use it to stab in melee range or throw it up to 60 feet.
If you attack with the blade you can make a smaller blade to attack with as a bonus action. The damage die of this bonus attack is 1d4 (instead of a d6) but other than that it pretty much works the same. The Psychic Blades vanish immediately after hitting or missing, and they leave no mark on their target, which is just a nice little bit of ninja flavor.
You also have innate Psionic Power which... takes a bit more to explain that “funny psychic throwing knife.” You have Psionic Energy die equal to twice your proficiency bonus, and you can use them on the following abilities:
Psi-Bolstered Knack lets you boost your skill checks with legally-not-Bardic Inspiration, as long as you’re proficient in the skill.
Psychic Whispers lets you coordinate in team chat and set up ganks.
I’m not going to go too deep into these abilities because they’re listed in the subclass and if you don’t know what the subclass does buy Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything and read it yourself. “See? Balance.” And speaking of balance your Sneak Attack damage now increases to 2d6!
LEVEL 4 - ROGUE 4

4th level Rogues get an Ability Score Improvement but because it’s the 4th level in a Rogue build we’ll instead be taking the Mobile feat. Along with a 10 foot increase to your movement speed you can also cross over difficult terrain (cough walls cough) without spending extra movement if you Dash. But most importantly if you attack an enemy in melee range you can run away from them without provoking an attack of opportunity, even if you miss!
Yup XP to Level 3′s meme explains it better than I can. Sneak attack and run away: keep to the shadows and never stand still.

LEVEL 5 - WARLOCK 1
What? Did you think that we’d be going for pure Rogue levels? Ha ha Warlock levels go brrrrr. Regardless a connection to the Spirit Realm manifests as powers of the Archfey, such as Fey Presence to Charm or Frighten anyone within a 10 foot cube with an epic rap battle.
And you also get Pact Magic, which comes back on a Short Rest! You get two cantrips at first level: For a Shuriken that inflicts Deep Wounds on those who idolize Eldritch Blast take Chill Touch, because a ninja should always have the right tool for the job. For some ninja trickery grab Minor Illusion to manipulate the shadows to your whim.
For your leveled spells Hex will cripple your foes to make it harder for them to run while also making your strikes deadlier, and uhhh... that’s about it, really? I mean, Sleep from the Archfey list is pretty nice for a sleep bomb but you really don’t need it. We’ll be holding off on leveled spells for a bit.
LEVEL 6 - WARLOCK 2
Second level Warlocks get Eldritch Invocations... hey wouldn’t it be funny if we just didn’t take invocations? I mean, feel free to grab some basic stuff like Armor of Shadows or Devil’s Sight for a time, but again we’re going to want to wait for...
LEVEL 7 - WARLOCK 3
Third level Warlocks get their Pact Boon and while you may never have gone to an official school you were sure to keep all the teachings of Master Shen in a tome. A Book of Shadows from the Pact of the Tome to be precise!
While Pact of the Blade would probably make more sense I’m pretty sure you can’t make your Psychic Blades into Pact weapons. That, and we need a multitude of features from Pact of the Tome more.
Picking up the Pact of the Tome will let you learn 3 cantrips from any class’ spell list. For a quality assurance guarantee on your skill checks take Guidance for that extra boost you need. For some natural Ionian magic Druidcraft will let you feel the spirit in the earth and the trees. And I know there are some spells I seem to stick into every build but yeah: Message is still good even if you have telepathy, for some silent resourceless communication between allies.
Oh and remember how we took no invocations last level? That’s because we’re going to be grabbing both Aspect of the Moon to confuse Diana mains as well as remain alert through the night without needing to sleep, and Book of Ancient Secrets to have some ninja tricks you can prepare over 10 minutes by Ritual Casting. I’d suggest Alarm and Comprehend Languages as the most in-character options but you can get more ritual spells by picking them up and inscribing them into your book (with some really damn expensive ink.)
You can also finally go and pick up those spells that I’ve been ignoring! Darkness is good for a magic smoke bomb (as long as you’re okay with blinding yourself and your allies too) and while perhaps not the most in-character Mirror Image is a damn good spell to up your survivability. And while we may already have Flash once per long rest I won’t ever complain about more Misty Step.
LEVEL 8 - WARLOCK 4
4th level Warlocks get an Ability Score Improvement: time for hee-hoo Athlete Feat that I take whenever I want a +1 in DEX but don’t know what to do. But believe it or not there’s actually a reason for it this time: Akali is an athlete, and you need to be able to perform feats of acrobatics like a ninja. Because again: you are a ninja.
You also get another spell along with another cantrip: for your cantrip Mage Hand will let you do a little bit of spirit-jitsu to reach the kimchi on the top shelf. As for your spell Pass without Trace was added in the Tasha’s extended spell list but you don’t really need it. Your friends might but for the most part I’d again suggest waiting for next level.

LEVEL 9 - WARLOCK 5
5th level Warlocks get another Eldritch Invocation and to be sneaky like a ninja One With Shadows will let you turn invisible if you stand still in the dark. Alternatively (if you think Stealth Expertise will carry you) you can take Far Scribe for some more secret shadow messages.
You can also learn third level spells like Blink for a slightly unreliable Smoke Cloud that’ll shroud you randomly, or Fear because ninjas are scary.
LEVEL 10 - WARLOCK 6
6th level Fey Warlocks get Misty Escape. As a reaction when you’re hit you can drop a smoke bomb to turn invisible and then teleport up to 60 feet. You remain invisible until the start of your next turn unless you attack or cast a spell, and can use this feature once per short or long rest.
You can also prepare another spell and for a ninja flashbang grab Hypnotic Pattern to daze everyone in a 30 foot cube. What? Ninjas can use flashbangs.
LEVEL 11 - WARLOCK 7
7th level Warlocks get another Eldritch Invocation and we can finally run across the universe to whoever we marked with our shuriken. Or at least 30 feet closer. Relentless Hex lets you teleport up to 30 feet and arrive within 5 feet of an enemy you have Hexed, as long as you can see them. While you can dash for this distance or Flash (Misty Step) this will let you get past any difficult terrain or obstacles with ease.
We can also finally get what we came for: a smoke cloud we can attack from while still being invisible. Take Greater Invisibility for invisibility that remains even after you attack. Yes this does mean as a Rogue you’ll have Advantage on all your attacks (to Sneak Attack), and yes the aesthetic of stabbing people with psychic knives that leave no mark while you yourself are invisible is freaking nuts. There are other 4th level spells you can take (Dimension Door and Shadow of Moil being two worth mention) but your other spells are still good. It’s up to you what you do as again I only own the build, not your character.

LEVEL 12 - ROGUE 5
At long last we’re going back to Rogue! 5th level Rogues can use their reaction for an Uncanny Dodge to take half damage from an attack. Remember that you only have one reaction per round, and this is the same reaction that you need to use for Misty Escape. So decide if disappearing but taking full damage is more valuable than taking half damage.
Your Sneak Attack also increases to 3d6, and you know those Psionic Energy die of yours? Well they’re now d8s! Finally!
LEVEL 13 - ROGUE 6
6th level Rogues get Expertise in two more skills. Acrobatics is an obvious must but I’ll leave the other skill up to you! Make your own build, even if it’ll probably include Riftmaker. (But when in doubt I opted for Perception personally.)
LEVEL 14 - ROGUE 7
7th level Rogues become masters of dodging skill shots thank to Evasion. If you make a Dexterity save and succeed, you take no damage. If you fail the save, you only take half damage! Additionally your Sneak Attack is now 4d6.

LEVEL 15 - ROGUE 8
8th level Rogues get another Ability Score Improvement. Hey about we cap that Dexterity score which has been sitting at an 18 for the past 6 levels? Deadliest knives, most agile of dodges, and BADDEST of dance moves. (Wait no that’s Charisma.)
LEVEL 16 - ROGUE 9
9th level Soul Knife Rogues can improve their weapons to Soul Blades, giving a few new uses to your Psionic Talent die. Homing Strikes will let you add your talent die to a missed attack, potentially allowing you to hit. If the talent die causes your attack to hit, you spend it.
Psychic Teleportation on the other hand will let you roll a Psionic Talent die as a bonus action to teleport an unoccupied space you can see, up to a number of feet away equal to 10 times the number rolled. This feature spends the die no matter how far you teleport. And finally your Sneak Attack increase to 5d6.
LEVEL 17 - ROGUE 10
The nice thing about Rogues is that they get more Ability Score Improvements. For MORE dancing increase your Charisma to show them what you’re made of. I’ll keep making jokes about K/DA don’t worry.

LEVEL 18 - ROGUE 11
11th level Rogues get Reliable Talent to turn any roll of 9 or lower on a skill check you’re proficient in to a 10. As per standard whenever I hit 11 in a Rogue build I like to make a list of your lowest possible roll so...
27 on Stealth or Acrobatics
25 on Performance
19 on Intimidation
17 on Perception
15 on Arcana
With results varying based on your choice of Expertise, of course. And if somehow that isn’t enough to make a skill check, your Psionic Talent die increases to a d10 along with your 6d6 Sneak Attack!
LEVEL 19 - ROGUE 12
Hey more Ability Score Improvements! That means you can nearly max out your Charisma just before level 20!
LEVEL 20 - ROGUE 13
13th level Soul Knife Rogues get the ultimate stealth tool: the Psychic Veil. As an action you become invisible for 1 hour unless you dismiss this effect (no action required). You remain invisible unless you deal damage to a creature or you force a creature to make a saving throw. You can use this feature once for free per Long Rest, and have to spend a Psionic Energy die to use it again.
Now some might say this is a weak ability since you have Greater Invisibility, but that spell only lasts a minute. This ability is far more useful for infiltration and out-of-combat uses, as with a full hour of being unseen you should be able to get into most places that you shouldn’t be. But if you think “a second level spell extended to 1 hour” isn’t a good capstone just remember that your Sneak Attack does increase to 7d6. And that... you know... You could just go Rogue 12 / Warlock 8 if you don’t like the level 13 ability.
FINAL BUILD
PROS
They can't stop me. I mean, they can try - 45 feet of movement with the ability to dash and teleport, with Athlete helping you scale up walls and Mobile making difficult terrain a non-issue. And yeah the Mobile feat in general makes you incredibly slippery.
I make problems... disappear - Who could’ve guessed that a permanently invisible Rogue would be dangerous? With a dozen tools to play keep-away you can easily be in multiple places at once and make your enemies unable to know where to strike.
I'll make this look like magic - You’ve got a nice bit of utility too with some great skill checks (boosted by your Psionic talent!) along with a ton of cantrips and the ability to learn any ritual spell you may find.
CONS
There are over 300 pressure points on the human body - You have a lot of features that are more for flavor than actual practicality, notably Relentless Hex which uhhhh... just Dash? You also have abilities which aren’t that strong, like weak Warlock spells we didn’t swap out (feel free to do that yourself) and Psychic Veil generally being a mediocre ability. (Nothing you can do to fix that.)
I was just warming up - Your stats aren’t awful but also aren’t fantastic... well except for your Intelligence: that’s pretty bad. And without any saving throw proficiency and a surprisingly limited amount of skills for a Rogue you really won’t be helpful outside of your area of expertise.
You don't get back what I take - Almost all your class features run on limited resources. Most of your Rogue abilities rely on your Psionic Talent die, and while you may have a lot you can only get one per Short Rest. Similarly you only have two Warlock slots, which even if they come back at the end of a Short Rest it leaves a lot to be desired. Frequent tea breaks are nice and all but you can quickly exhaust yourself without breaks.
But you are quick, silent, and deadly. All the skills of a ninja in one package. Dive in, make a clean cut, and get out before they know what hit ‘em. Akali’s that girl. 'Kali go grr. 'Kali don't stop. 'Kali don't skrrt. True Damage we do it, and maybe if you perform well enough you can get into Pentakill too. Look I’m not saying I want Akali to be in every band that Riot makes, but Pentakill Akali would be equally cool and hilarious.

An Innocent Sin & the good gay flashback ft. my descent into madness
I wasn’t sure if I should post this but I mostly want it archived so here we go. This is from like,, September?
So. “An Innocent Sin” is a dumpster fire unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I don’t remember why I decided to read it. maybe I was crazy. Either way... I read it. It soon started to touch upon (very very outlandish) sexual abuse which I thought was interesting. (the angst, not so much some of the wack circumstances surrounding it)
ANYWAY. at some point... we have a flashback. And not just that. It has a gay character.
And it turns rly gay. which mind you, is still in a het smut manwha (that has a “gay” side couple, but still!)
And it destroyed me.
For those who want to read it because I genuinely think the flashback is a decent bit, it’s all the bonus chapters between chapter 77 and 78 I think. There’s a part before that too, but idk where exactly anymore. (It’s on lezhin! or your platform of choosing)

hi hello dont you love that im answering this more than a month later!! /s
word count: 868 :] bc again - i can not be quiet

1⃣ - What’s the first thing that attracted you to them?
Uhhhh Doctor aesthetic. My brain really said "You never had one of these chaotic bastards before, why don't you try it out for funnies" and then I did. Now look at the sad little man I've become /s
I'm gonna assume I thought he was physically attractive too bc Older Man, greying hair, broad shoulders. Yeah.
I honestly loved that he's just a bastard and not afraid to show it - he knows what he's about - ethics be damned I guess! My gut instinct was to say he was emotionally constipated which is actually why I started shipping with him! I thought it'd be funny if this painfully obvious, stupid sweetheart chara pines after a wacky but brilliant doctor thats denser than fruitcake who cant read the mood. I've definitely changed that up some bit but characterizing Medic as a mess emotionally wise, is still very prominent. Now it's emotionally constipated²! everyone hates that!
💛 - How do you help each other with everyday things?
I'm very soft of the idea of them waking up and getting ready together. Both go to bed late and it's usually Medic that wakes up first, which in turn makes Chef (more often times than not) get their ass up with him. Medic wakes up fairly easy; taking a moment to stretch and shake off the sleepies. Chef on the other hand has to drag themselves to a sitting up position and vibe there for a few minutes but there's a 30% chance they'll flop back down and fall back asleep if Medic doesn't come over and wake them up himself. He usually leans down to rub their arms or pat their leg, softly telling them to get ready. If he's feeling more affectionate, he'll plop himself down next to them, wrap them up in his arms, and playfully shake them awake.
Throughout the day, Chef will pop their head into the medbay to check on him, while Medic - if he just so happens to walk past - will peek his head into the kitchen to see if Chef is still around. They don't always chat when this happens but it's a nice little reminder that the other is thinking of / looking out for them.
Chef "nags" Medic about eating and vice versa. Medic is typically fine when it comes to eating meals but he'll accidentally skip them when he loses track of time, resulting in Chef badgering him to set a timer or something so he can take a break. Of course, he waves it off and laughs like 'sure jan'. Chef is just a fool and doesn't eat with the others often (especially when they first join). They tend to skip meals on purpose but also because of their forgetfulness. There's been a handful of times they've almost/fainted or whited out. Both parties make it a point to eat together if not for themselves, then for the other.
Medic learns quickly that Chef doesn't like coffee and opts to make them tea and hot chocolate ( if supplies last ). It's not the crummy packaged one either - it's the Rich, Dense Hot Chocolate that Chef neither has the sweet tooth or the stomach for - regardless, they drink it bc it's soothing and legitimately makes Medic happy to see them enjoying something he made.
Technically, Chef has to be awake early enough to make breakfast but that doesn't mean they're the first awake - because of this, Medic (and whoever's up first), usually gets the kitchen to himself before it gets too warm/crowded. As a bonus, he's able to get breakfast the way he wants it since there isn't 9 People Hovering over Chef. Also because we believe in Medic Supremacy in this base: 'You don't like your eggs scrambled? Sorry, you should've woken up earlier. ' *Medic sipping his coffee n minding his business*
Speaking of coffee - Chef is prone to making Medic a fresh cup throughout the day. He's not like Sniper Levels of Coffee Drinking but he definitely drinks more than the average person. He stays up late into the night when he's working on a particularly tough project and wakes up early. Chef makes it a point to scold him (even before they're together) to get more rest, all while replacing the old mug with a fresh one.
To add to that, they take comfort in being able to spend time together in silence while sharing a warm drink, especially after a long day. Medic doesn't appear to be a very stressed individual and tends to shrug off worries if possible - maybe even laugh it off or flat out ignore it. Chef comes off as stressed and (truthfully) a bit anxious. They're just in a base full of Tall Men that physically look down at them, they literally can't help it. They're pretty relaxed for the most part but huffs and sighs a lot when they're deep in thought. Medic is sometimes (read, majority of the time) bad with emotions but will ask them 'what's wrong'. This usually results in limited talking, more silence, but then comes the physical comfort of having someone near. A comforting hand on their knee or just humming in response, confirming that he'll be there when they need him to be. That's more than enough for them.

Note: I’m surprised myself when writing this short fic of Jin. I didn’t expect the story to be like this haha. I write this for Jin’s birthday which is next week!!! And this is my first time to write after a looooong time so I hope it’s not too awkward.
Dani: Are you free today?
The very first message I check in the morning comes from my best friend. I make sure that today is Saturday before I send a reply.
Me: Yeah. Why?
Dani: I bet you haven’t check the group chat yet. Seonho asks us to meet today, reunion with hidden agenda I guess.
I open an active group chat consists of my high school friends. We actually don’t talk often but we always give each others’ updates to maintain good relationship. I scroll a little bit because everyone is sending message. When I see a picture, I finally understand the hidden agenda Dani’s told me just now. Seonho is getting married. Seonho, my biggest crush during high school.

“Are you coming?” Seokyung & Dani are on the way to the café. Some of friends will meet today, for the sake of reunion, and for early celebration of Seonho’s wedding. These girls have been my up and down when trying my best to keep my secret crush hidden. I’ve said to them many times that the silly crush is gone now, but I can’t lie that something does feel strange. And now they unnecessary worry about me.
“Of course. Call me again when you arrive, I’m at the nearby park.”
“Going out with your camera again?”
“Yes. I don’t want to waste a good day like this”
“Okay. Don’t stay under the sun too long”
I walk around the park, following the line of trees. It’s getting warmer as welcoming spring season but sometime the wind is still too cold for me. I take some pictures when find something that catch my eyes. It’s always entertaining to watch people’s interaction. I often sit alone and enjoy the breeze. It helps me clearing my mind when days feel too rough. Sometimes, I get bonus to see beautiful faces for my camera to catch. Just like that one particular man who just walks out from the café. He must be model or actor to have that gorgeous face and perfect proportion.
I take few pictures of him. I know they will turn out good even though I don’t take its properly. It’s surely not because I’m a good photographer but the object. It makes me smile. It will be nice to get this kind of pictures every time I shoot.

It’s time to be back to reality.
I make a promise earlier that whatever happened today it won’t break me down, not again. I might like him in the past but it’s all in the past. He will forever see me as a friend and I know that from the very start. I know it well. But it’s just I get a closure that I needed today when I get his wedding invitation. I can hold it well in front of him and my friends. But somehow, a tear escapes from my eye.
I look at the film camera I bring today. I want to make memories with them, with Seonho too, using his camera so I cannot have second thought after the photo taken and delete it. This should be one of ways for me to toughen myself and be true to my own words. I’ve done liking Seonho and only see him as a friend.
I still have 5 frames to go. I take a deep breath and snap a shot of the upper part of the building together with the clear sky. Long sigh comes out, I really don’t want to cry but it keeps falling.
“Are you okay?” asks a man from a bench away. It startles me and surprisingly stops me from crying.
“I know it’s not my business but I think you need this” says the man who is standing a step away. I look at him while wiping the tear stain.
“I’m fine”
“I just purchase it from the vending machine if you don’t believe me. I don’t have any bad intention. I just feel bad to see you sad and this sweet drink should make you a little bit better”
He is very good looking. No, extremely handsome. He surely has his way with words but I still keep my guard up. These days, many criminals disguise as kind looking or educated person.
“You can take a picture of me as proof later on, if I really do something bad to you”
He, once again, push the cold drink to me and back to his bench again. He opens his bottle and drink it like a commercial. I can’t help a small smile when see him do that. He is surely a weird guy.
“I’m ready to pose if you really want to take a picture though”
“Okay, just in case”
I bring my film camera to my eyes and capture a very clear shape of his face.
“One more with your phone. You can send it to your friend ‘just in case’ I steal your phone later” he says while striking another pose. I shake my head. I do not expect laughing at the very moment.
I fulfill his request to take his picture with my phone camera and show him the result. I really hope he is not a bad guy because it will be a shame for his beautiful face and such a wit.
“Thank you” I say to him before drinking. My heart feels a little bit lighter than earlier.
“Will you post you pictures online? Hmm maybe on instagram?”
“I don’t know”
“I give a permission to post my pictures on your page then, no need to thank me”
I laugh for the second time. This time he laughs with me. Why someone bother to stop, spend his time for a poor looking stranger and make her laugh? I mean, we are strangers, we don’t know each other, less care for each other.
He, now, moves to my bench and sit on the other edge.
“I’m Seokjin, you can call me Jin. You can to not tell me your name now, but do me a favor”
“What is it?”
“When I find you, I mean my picture on your SNS, you cannot decline my offer for coffee or dinner if you don’t drink coffee”
“Okay”
“Be prepare for our second date” he says before leaving me all smiley on the park.
When he’s far enough from my sight, I just realize. He’s the man I saw this afternoon. The living sculpture that makes my pictures look better. I shake my head in disbelief. I’m expecting our next meeting to come.

The minute after I post Seokjin picture, everyone’s being wild. My bestfriends are being so loud on our private group chat. Sending all text in capital letters, sending all threating meme stocks they have on their phone. They demand me to explain in details how, when, why regarding Seokjin. I have to ignore those texts as I have to back to work. I know once I start replying them, they will never let me to stop until they satisfied. I receive DM notification from the source of this phenomenon right before I out it back to my pocket.
Jin: I know I offer coffee or dinner, but I wait for a long time just for coffee.. I know this Japanese restaurant that has superb menu and deserves all those Michelin star, so… will you be free on tomorrow?
Me: That sounds very promising and I have no reason to refuse, don’t I?
Jin: Great. 010 XXX XXXX This is my number, text me your office address and I’ll pick you up. See you soon ;)
Right after works, Seokyung and Dani ask me to meet them in chicken restaurant near our highschool. It’s our favorite restaurant to go whenever we want to fulfill our stomach while gossiping.
“I don’t believe how small this world is. How can you and Jin sunbae meet? He is ‘the sunbae’ I told you guys before” Dani seems excited and amazed at the same time. Dani works at the finance consulting company for 2 years now and Seokjin is his senior in different department.
“The famous sunbae?” ask Seokyung. Dani nods quickly. Me and Seokyung remember how Dani describe this man to us the first week she got the job. The idol of her company, who has many admirers from intern to senior staffs.
“I met him at the park last time, we talked a little and he asked me to take his picture”
“But how? And why?”
That’s exactly my questions too. Compared to him, I’m just an average looking woman, and a stranger. He must have work with many beautiful women in daily. I shrug my shoulder to answer them.
“It just happened”
“Is he a weirdo? I know he is handsome, but it doesn’t mean he is a good guy” Seokyung states her opinion with doubtful face.
“He. Is. The. Perfect. Guy” Dani says.
“He is very kind to others, well-mannered and smart. He is professional at work, no matter how friendly he is, he will be strict to those who make mistakes. During our company’s dinner, he can make everyone’s laugh with his dad jokes. I don’t think you can fake that one, no?”
“So… it will be fine if I meet him again, right?” ask me to both of my bestfriends.
“Totally fine”
“I think so”
They answer at the same time. They look at each other and laugh.
“That’s the fastest answer I ever heard from you too”
“I wish you to have boyfriend for what.. 2 years? It’s the perfect time to start again, you know” said Dani with a smile.
I’ve tried to have romantic relationship with other men before this but it never stays long. I was happy with them, everything goes smoothly. However, at some points, we both know that I cannot love them like they love me.
“Do you think it will work out this time, with Seokjin?”
“We won’t know for sure, but we wish you to be happy”
I also wish myself to be happy, happier.
Spending time with Jin is always entertaining. He knows his choice of words will lighten up the mood between us whenever we’re going out. He never seems out of topic or makes me losing interest. When I talk, he will attentively listen. Most of times he introduces me to all of his favorite restaurants in the city. Sometimes, he will accompany me taking pictures for my new projects. We just feel very comfortable to have each other around.
“Have you tried the new ice cream parlor near your home?”
“I haven’t tried it yet but I heard it’s good. They also have opening promos this week, if I’m not mistaken”
“Then should we go there before I drop you?”
“Hmm… are you making me join your morning jogging tomorrow?”
“You can read my mind so well. I need to make an excuse so I can meet you tomorrow morning”
I hold my smile and turn my face to the window.
“Who’s taking a woman eating ice cream nearly 9 pm”
Seokjin laughs a loud. He puts the ice cream parlor’s address to his car’s GPS despite of my comment because he knows I won’t survive the temptation.
“I will let you eat the mint-choco flavor this time. How about that?”
I pretend to think for a while. We both know Jin will get what he wants, but I just want to make it looks like not too easy. I don’t want to look I like him more than I should. Considering he let me to buy mint-choco flavor after countless dates for ice cream, he must really want us to go there. He always stops me when I want to pick that particular flavor and suggest me all of other flavors before.
“Bonus. How about dinner at my place next week? I’ll show you how good I am in kitchen”
I know he doesn’t have hidden meaning in his words but I can’t help to blush. He shouldn’t know how many times I imagining to hug him. He has wide shoulder and tiny waist, deep soothing smell and a good amounts sweet talks. We always an inch away to kiss. It makes me somewhat impatient and wondering how it feels like.
“O..okay”
“Cute”
We don’t label our relationship but we are no longer stopping ourselves to touch each other with affection months ago. This time feels different from the other relationships I have before. I trust Jin from the beginning and I think I fall in love with him sooner than I expected. He, himself, is very different from men I met before but I never thought we will match very well. To be honest, I thought he’ll only play around with me. But he always proves me wrong with his actions.
Dinner at his place become a routine. He doesn’t cook every time I come over, but never let me disappointed by his chosen take-out menu. Sometimes he just wants us to watch movies with snacks. The first three dinners, he will drive me home even it’s late. But after that, he will pretend too sleepy and persuade me to sleep over. It’s not I don’t like it, but he just tortures me more than before. These days, he will just hug me once I step inside his place and won’t even let me go for more than 5 minutes. It feels like we put ourselves in internal battle, to see who stands longer in this sexual tension.
“You’re not going home tonight” he said.
“I know” I answer without looking at him.
I give up to try right after the first night I fail to force him getting up while pretend to be sleepy. I remember how cheerful he sounds when I agree to sleep over. He even let me wear his favorite green pajamas.
He pulls me closer to him till my back fully leans to his chest.
“Should I tell you my plan tonight or you already know too?”
“Hmm? What plan?”
“I call it ‘Making You Mine’ plan?”
“Making me yours?” I ask. I turn my face to see him and find him already looking at me.
We just stare to each other’s eyes for some good seconds until his eyes start to travel down. He stops at my lips and wetting his own lips. I can’t help to notice how his tongue move slowly.
“Yes. I’ll make you mine tonight” he whispers while looking back at my eyes.
My mind blanks. I can’t think other things than his lips, his body, just himself in front of me. His face comes closer and I close my eyes when I feel his soft thick lips on mine. I hold onto his arm that circles my waist.
“I forget to tell you. You’re not going to sleep either”
The perks of having best photographer in the world as your girlfriend ;)

tukishima is honestly one of those boyfriends that you love dearly, but sometimes you just… fantasize about tripping him while he’s walking by. you never do it but, who knows. one day you might be stretching just as him and his long ass legs are strolling on by. you thought that maybe when you guys were Official ™ he’d chill out but, no. my apologies. he’s still same old somewhat irritating tsukishima. he’s never outright mean to you but that smugness never fades. if anything it kinda get’s worse because he knows you like him, chose to like him, enough to stay.
congratulations. tsukishima has now been diagnosed with terminal ‘little shit’ disorder.
this sucks but he’s hot and cold at times :/ he gets moody really quickly if something kills his vibes- even if that ‘something’ doesn’t really exist. this can include things as big as family issues, down to little things like the weather. he doesnt like the rain :(
tsukishima tries not to take this out on you but he can’t help but be dismissive when he’s not feeling the fun anymore. like, for example, if you showed him something on your phone that normally he’d be interested in, he might just blankly stare at him for a few seconds before going, ‘ah. that’s pretty cool.’
when he’s like this he wont answer your texts, which is annoying because he doesn’t have the courtesy to turn ‘invisible’ or even present himself offline. he’s very clearly active but just doesn’t answer any messages because personal convos are too exhausting. however, if you call him, he will pick up every time.
on the flipside, though, just like he gets into sour-ish moods, he also gets weirdly affectionate now and then. it’s not snuggly uwu adorable affection, but he just, can’t leave you alone? he keeps you close asf, slings an arm around you, doesn’t stop with jokes or random shit. he literally doesn’t shut up sometimes, and he’ll spam you with memes or anything (anything) that reminds him of you.
this ones more subtle but you can always tell when he’s getting into a lovey mood because mid conversation he’ll just call you and be like “its easier to talk than text” but in reality he just wanted to hear ur voice
when you’re sad he’s not that great at handling it, but he needs to do something. he can’t stand when you’re sad because you’re no fun and also you’re his baby wtf you can’t be sad at all ever. What The Fuck. be happy right now
if you’re with him he lets you vent, listens and tries to apply with little advice he has where he can. his responses are usually telling you that you need to get out of your own head, and fuck whatevers bothering you. now, say if your upset about minor, if he’s texting you, he’ll call you in the hopes that it’ll help you out. he offers to come see you, to take you out somewhere. if you don’t pick up the phone he spams you pictures of your favorite thing followed by texts that say ‘answer the phoooooooone stop being sad’
he… he tries his best. no one ever said tsukishima was a master at feelings.
he’s one of those guys where when you two get together, it spreads as a rumor. no one takes it seriously but they still pass it around like, ‘hey did you hear tsukki and that one person are going out? totally not true.’ half of the ppl cant imagine someone being able to stand him, the other half cant imagine him finding someone he is ABLE to stand (other than yams of course).
when you two are dating #confirmed no one saw it coming, even despite the rumors. love it. bonus points if you’re the more bouncy/happy/optimistic type LOL
protective affff. wants to be subtle but hes kinda mean about it sometimes. hes not mean to you, because he has eternal trust in you. he selectively chose you, after all. you passed all his little tests, you captured his cold heart. of course he trusts you. however he does not, and will not, trust anyone else in the world. literally the only person he’s cool with you being around are your closest friends and his yamaguchi. thats it.
he’s not barring you from having friends. he knows you need your friends and your people, and hes to be cool about that (unless someone REALLY bothers him). he accepts hes not the only person in your life, but really he’d prefer no one breathed around you at all, ever. please and thanks. yamaguchi show them the door.

kageyama is so awkward at first LMFAO. he’ll bump hands with you and be like pll;eelase but on the outside he mostly just looks constipated :( he’s so touch starved and doesn’t know how to ask for it literally at all
kinda works to your benefit, though :} every single time you touch him he acts like its the first time. he internally freaks out. you’ve held hands a thousand times yet he’s still like !!!!!!!! when you interlock yours and his fingers. if he initiates it, he stares at the ground and burns red. he cant take it.
literally cannot handle PDA. so fucking cute. it isn’t that he doesn’t like it- he loves the idea. aw :) him and his baby :) how cute :) but then god forbid you kiss him on the cheek and suddenly he cant breathe his teammates are right there and staring at him and hHhhh\HHhh EVERY ONE CAN SEE
behind closed doors he loooves getting kisses, but freaks himself out in regards to kissing you himself. hes a baby, he gets scared. it takes a lot of courage to do something like that, even when no one can see. you can see.
this doesn’t apply if he’s sleepy. if hes sleepy, it’s over for you. he turns into such a big cuddle bug and he tries to get as close to you as possible, too tired to care that he’s being awfully brash when he slings himself over your body like a moth to a flame, snoring in your ear and melting you with his body heat.
hes super attentive to your interests. like– scary attentive. he knows how much volleyball means to him. other than you, now, it’s his world. it means so much to him, so when he discovers your thing, the volleyball in your heart, he goes into hyper drive. he wants to learn that thing right now because if its important to you than it’s important to him, no matter what it is. you will have this boy sewing, painting, working out with you, anything. he’ll make friendship bracelets, fuck it. if it’s important to you than its important to him.
in return though he does expect that same treatment even if he doesn’t outright admit it. he wants to bond with you so bad and if he got to do that while playing his favorite sport, training, he’s all in. heaven, bliss. he’ll be on cloud 9 just please throw him the ball
anything that his, is yours. this goes for coats, this goes for drinks and snacks. cold? take my coat. hungry? i just so happen to have an apple on hand. crazy.
when he’s at the vending machine he always makes sure to get you something but the first time he does it he stresses himself out so bad LOL he wants to get you something you'll like so he stands there for ten minutes just deciding. when you go looking for him you find him disgruntled, forehead against the machine, muttering to himself ‘what do i buy what do i buy what do i buy’
when you tell him what you want, you’d better make sure you chose right the first time. this is because that kageyama, of course, is a man of habit. he likes his routine, he doesn’t shake much stuff up unless it’s forced upon him. so, after you made your choice, he sticks with that to the grave. orange juice? enjoy it every single day for lunch even if you brought your own. enjoy it with dinner. enjoy it with breakfast. if he has something, you have something. every single time.
unless you go out of your way to specify you want something else he will just keep going. hints and subtleties does not work for him. if you asked for orange juice and two months later mentioned how you were craving apple juice so bad, too bad. orange juice. shoulda asked for apples. drink up.
actually i take it half-way back. this does NOT include milk. if you breathe the word milk, that’s what you’re gonna get. fuck he loves milk so much and you can both enjoy it together, its his dream.
