A Spell for the Whale Road

In the well-known Old English saga Beowulf, there is an epithet for the ocean that is often translated into modern English as “whale road.” Sailors and raiders of yore traversed the whale road aboard longships, and the whales themselves—especially the familiar humpback whale—conduct epic annual migrations (sometimes more than 3,000 miles) to bring their pods to more bountiful feeding grounds and gentler, warmer waters where their calves can be born. The humpbacks’ extraordinary journeys happens every year around the globe. (You can learn more about humpback whales here).

If you are embarking on a voyage or journey of some kind toward an unknown territory or new stage of your life, then this spell is for you. This spell is for gathering your courage and fortifying your spirit against the hardships of a long journey—whether that journey be emotional, physical, or spiritual—and knowing that, sooner rather than later, you will always find safe harbor.

This is a bath/shower spell that can be performed by closet witches who must hide their Craft, and it draws upon the power of the whale road and the humpbacks who travel those broad avenues on the regular. It is ideal for sea witches, as well as any witch who feels an affinity for the element of water.

You will need:

OPTIONAL BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: bath salts or 1 bath bomb of some kind, ideally ocean-themed (if using in a bathtub)

OPTIONAL BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: 1 shower steamer or shower bomb, ideally ocean-themed (if using in a shower)

OPTIONAL: a device for playing recorded audio

A bathroom with a functional shower or tub

OPTIONAL: 1 or more candles of any size/shape, ideally blue or white

At least 15-20 minutes of free time

Method:

Take yourself to your bathroom of choice. Ideally, this is a quiet, private place where you can light your candle(s) and play some music to relax as you wash. (Relaxation is important for this spell). If you are living in a dormitory and/or have a communal bathroom, this spell may be a bit more difficult—but it isn’t impossible! If you aren’t allowed to use traditional candles in your space, consider battery-powered electric ones… but please keep them away from the water!

If you aren’t already clean, wash yourself and perform whatever hair care is appropriate for your hair texture. If your hair cannot be wet for an extended period of time (i.e. at least 15-20 minutes), cover it now.

Light or turn on the candles if you are using them (following all electrical and/or fire safety procedures), and fill the tub/turn on the shower. Play soothing music or (even better) some whale song if you are able. Use your shower bomb/bath bomb/shower steamer/bath salts now, if you are using them. Get into the water. If you are using a tub, lie back into the water and relax as much as you are able. If you’re using a shower stall, feel free to sit down in a shower chair or on a clean surface as you relax.

If you feel safe doing so, close your eyes. If not, soften your gaze. Ruminate on the journey that lies ahead, what you need to do, and/or where you need to go as the warm water surrounds your. Think of whales braving the depths of the shark-haunted and storm-wracked open ocean to reach their ancestral feeding and childrearing waters every year. Think of the instincts that compel them and the pod matriarchs that lead them across multiple thousands of miles to reach these places. Think of their singing as they travel. You are just as strong as they are! You can reach your destination and find safe harbor, and you can do so with a song in your heart.

When the strength of the whales has sufficiently filled you, turn off the water, extinguish the candles, and shut off the music. Clean up your bathroom, get dressed, and re-enter the terrestrial world with new strength to brave the perils of the whale road.

(+ Beauty Spells tips)

Hi, darlings! This is my first ever post.

I'm super stoked to share this with you all. It's one I've come up with and customized myself. Hence, the weird name I've given it. It came straight from my grimoire, I made. Alrough, I'm gonna need to make a new one soon...

This is a beauty bath spell ritual, where a lot of areas can be customized, to fit your needs. Just follow the steps, in order. It's also, necessary to make sure you have a clear intention, of what results you want. Just some things to note, first!

You can use this to change or shift your features (manifestation), as long as you consider it beautiful and is what your heart, truly wants. For this, you're really going to need to, have a strong visualization technique. I reccommend, cutting out pictures to put together, to use during the spell. Such as pictures of what lips, eyes, etc. You may need to repeat this bath spell, at least once a week. Though this is really only if, you want quicker results.

That is one option, of what results this can bring in. But, if you're like me, you might prefer to embrace your natural beauty more. Or perhaps, just simply want to keep the features you are born with. Well, no matter! One can also, use this spell, to make their natural self, even more beautiful (enhancing your natural beauty). For this, your gonna need to know what you yourself, look like. The more detailed, the better. You can also, use a mirror or a photo of your current self, for this part. I'll get into more details, in the spell's instructions.

Something to mention, you can do this spell during a full moon, new moon, pink/strawberry moon, or a eclipse.

I don't reccommend doing this, during a red eclipse. I always noticed, a lot of negative energy can be more susceptible, to building up, during a red eclipse. Probably, because it's so powerful, to be honest. Anyways, this scenario can negatively impact spellwork. Hence, why I personally, don't reccommend it. You can do it, during this phase anyways, though. It's your choice, afterall! Just please, be extra careful in cleansing

So...

Let's get started shall we~? Time to, transform! ^_^

~ Ingrediants ~

So, you're going to need the following:

1.) Bath and bath water (obviously!) .

You could use milk, rose water, or moon water, instead of regular bath water. It'll make the spell stronger, since milk is known to be good, for beauty rituals. But, you don't have to, obviously. Just sharing ideas. Plus, I've never tried the moon water or rose water, before. But, I'd theorize they would work spendidly! If you try any of those, please feel free to share. I'm curious to see, if they'll work well. ;)

But yeah, anyways, I have done this with milk, and it's acually really nice! Totally, reccommended.

---Skip the part below, if not using milk! Sorry, got nerdy and lengthy, with it!---

It even has a lot of health benefits, such as being good for the skin. It'd be even better, if the milk is strawberry or vanilla flavored (especially, organic). That is because, strawberries and vanilla are associated with beauty, adoration, and glamour. To get deeper into this, in Paganism, strawberries are believed to be the fruit that's associated with the Greek goddess, Aphrodite. As for vanilla, I found out with research and experimenting with this spell, that it seems to enhance it. Although, I didn't really see anything, conforming this works in beauty spells. I did find out, vanilla is realated to innocence, adorableness, joy, childishness, the angels, and youth. So, I added it since beauty, falls in line with these traits.

2.) Sea salt. Make sure to use enough to purify and to have extra amount for the bath water spell. Can also, mix it with pink Himalayan salt.

3.) A bath soap that has a fragance, that's related to beauty. It can something like rose, lavender, chamomile, asters, etc. I personally, use lavender and Japanese Cherry Blossom bath soap.

4.) 1 pink, white, or red candle. This can be LED or a regular! Scent, don't matter. In fact you can be creative with this. You can carve beauty sigils, add hearts, decorate it, and do whatever you usually like to do with your spell candles. Just make sure it fits in with this spell. The more you make it work for you, while following directions (of course), the more I find the spell works. I always noticed, that more magickal energy, seems to flow in this this way, thus making the spell, stronger/more effective. Plus, good energy, is always a great thing to have.

5.) Pink or red, rose petals (optional)

6.) Lavender petals or 5 drops of lavander oil (optional)

7.) Rose Quarts, Pink Moonstone, Amythest, Citrine, White Pearl, and/or Pink Diamond (optional, any Size)

8.) Pink or Red Pajamas (optional). This is to put on after the bath.

9.) A lighter, or match (if using a regular candle).

---Note: Ingerediant ten, is for those that want different features, they weren't born with. Ingredient eleven, is for those that want to keep the natural features, they are born with. ---

10.) Mental or physical images, of what you desire or what features (other than your own) that you want to change your features to. That means features, you don't have naturally or weren't born with. Example: magazine clippings of Taylor Swift's eyes, Princess Aurora's lips, Ariana Grande's body, etc. The spell will do what it can, to manifest these things for you.

Remember, to make sure that these things, are what you yourself, truly want. Not because, you feel you have to. The spell won't work, if it is not what you truly desire, at all. Plus, you are the most beautiful, when you are the happiest. *hugs* ^_^

11.) For those wanting to keep their features. All you need, is to know what you currently look like, all naturalé. You can use a photo you have of yourself, though not required. It can help! You can do that or, use a mirror to reflect on yourself, when called for.

~Instructions!~

1.)First, clean and cleanse the bath space.

2.) Gather all the materials, needed (and any extra tools). Bring them into where, you'll be taking a bath.

3 .) If you're using an altar, sigils, going to be dressing the candle, or anything else (of that sort), do it all now. That way, it is ready to go.

4.) Draw the bath water/moon water/rose water/milk (whatever, you'll be bathing in). Keep going until the bath is full.

5.) While the bath is being filled (if using a regular bath faucet), pour in a good amount of sea salt. Mix in pink himalayan salt, right afterwards. If you are going to use any, of the latter.

6.) Add your scented bath soap. Generous amount is best!

7.) Optional! Add in any flower petals, only if you're going to use any. That, and the five drops of lavender oil.

8.) Put your crystals, from item 7 (from the ingredients list, above) onto the side of the bath. Opposite, of where you'll enter. You can put them on the edge or corners. Just as long, as they won't fall into the bath, of course!

9.) Now, getting ready to light your candle. Grab any physical images or a mirror, if using any. Yep, right now! If you're using a regular candle, grab whatever lighter you're using, to light the wick. Light the candle. Or turn on now, if it's an LED candle.

10.) Now, standing in front of the candle, grab your pictures or mirror (if any). Hold the picture(s) in your hand, to focus your energy onto them. If using the mirror, point it to where it shows your reflection, so you can see it. Put your energy into that. If none, start to visualizes what features you want to have. That, or visualize what you naturally look like. Pay attention to every detail. Focus is key, now!

11.) As you start to do that (making sure you're ready), recite the following (one time). All the while, making sure to focus putting your energy into the visuals) :

" Wherever there is love, beauty, grace;

Let it shine upon me, to help bring light to mine;

From inside, and outside, for all to see.

Forever, ebbing and flowing;

The radiance to be.

Now I can, too, be one of:

Love, Beauty, Grace;

For my eternity.

As above, and so, below.

Thus, mote it be!"

12.)Now turn off the bath water faucet, if you have any still running.

13.) Step into the bath, placing any physical visual tools next to the candle. It's helps to imagine. the power and energy glowing, from the bath water, pictures/mirror, and the candle.

14.) Take your sweet time, and bask it all in. You deserve it! :D

15.) When done, step out and drain the bath. Whilst grabbing any flower petals, unless they're dissolvable. Real flower petals, can clog the drain. I learned that, the hard way!

16.) Optional: If you have any pink or red pajamas and/or bathrobe, put them on now. If both, put on the robe first, to dry. Then, sleep in the pajamas, at night!

And, that's all of the spell. Sorry, if it's too wordy. I really, like to try to be detailed... >_<"

Anyways, You can do this, as many times as you want.

3 herb bath recipes

Three different metaphysical herb bath recipes you can try:

Protection & Purification Bath:

1/2 cup dried rosemary

1/2 cup dried basil

1/2 cup dried fennel seeds

1/2 cup sea salt

Mix the herbs and salt together in a bowl. Then, place the mixture in a large muslin or cotton bag and hang it under the faucet as you run your bathwater.

Soak in the bath for at least 20 minutes, visualizing any negative energy leaving your body and a protective aura forming around you.

Love & Self-Care Bath:

1/2 cup dried lavender

1/2 cup dried rose petals

1/2 cup dried chamomile

1/2 cup Epsom salt

Mix the herbs and salt together in a bowl. Then, place the mixture in a large muslin or cotton bag and hang it under the faucet as you run your bathwater.

Soak in the bath for at least 20 minutes, focusing on self-love and nurturing energy.

Prosperity & Abundance Bath:

1/2 cup dried cinnamon

1/2 cup dried basil

1/2 cup dried thyme

1/2 cup sea salt

Mix the herbs and salt together in a bowl. Then, place the mixture in a large muslin or cotton bag and hang it under the faucet as you run your bathwater.

Soak in the bath for at least 20 minutes, visualizing abundance and prosperity flowing towards you.

🌹 Self Love Spell Bath Ritual 🌹

It's super important to make time to take care of yourself and nurture your soul. I created a simple self love bath ritual just for that! Remember, the most important aspect of any ritual is your intention and the energy you bring to it. Trust in the power of self-love and allow yourself to fully embrace the experience.

Ingredients:

Rose quartz crystal (for self-love and healing)

Epsom salt (for relaxation and cleansing)

Pink candles (for love and emotional healing)

Fresh roses or rose petals (for love and beauty)

Your favorite bath oils or salts (optional)

Your intention and positive energy

Instructions:

Begin by setting the mood in your bathroom. Dim the lights, play soothing music, and create a serene atmosphere that promotes relaxation and self-care.

Fill your bathtub with warm water. As the tub is filling, add a handful of Epsom salt. Epsom salt helps to draw out toxins from your body and promotes a sense of relaxation.

Light the pink candles and place them around the bathroom. Their soft, gentle glow will create a calming and loving ambiance.

Take the rose quartz crystal in your hands and focus on your intention for the self-love bath. Visualize yourself surrounded by unconditional love and acceptance. Feel a sense of warmth and compassion emanating from the crystal.

Gently place the rose quartz crystal in the bathtub. As it comes into contact with the water, imagine its loving energy infusing the water, filling the tub with healing vibrations.

If you have fresh roses, scatter their petals on the water's surface. Alternatively, you can sprinkle dried rose petals in the bath. The roses symbolize love and beauty, further enhancing the self-love experience

Step into the bath and submerge yourself in the warm water. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing yourself to relax fully and release any tension or negative thoughts.

As you soak in the bath, meditate on self-love and self-acceptance. Repeat positive affirmations such as "I am worthy of love and happiness" or any other affirmations that resonate with you. Visualize any emotional wounds healing and being replaced with self-love and compassion.

Judging by their names they must be well versed in magic but Globox ain’t.

Cleansing/Protection/Prosperity tripple action bath:

- Angelica root - block busting, cleansing, protection, blessing

-Peppermint - cleansing, prosperity, protection, psychic empowerment

- Bay leaves (3) - Victory, prosperity

- Basil (3) - Cleansing, uncrossing

- Baking Soda - Block busting, cleansing, protection

- Orange Peel - Attraction/prosperity

- Appropriate prayers/petitions/psalms

Instructions:

Light insence and pray over each individual ingredient for the above aspects, repeating the prayers/petitions at least 3 times over each ingredient before moving to the next. Add each ingredient into a pot of water and heat it up over the stove. Say more prayers/petitions, or pray a psalm over the mixture repeatedly. Ask that the heat from the stove heat up the work and continue to pray over it. Let it come to a boil and boil for 10 minutes, then strain out the solids. (You could also put them into a cheesecloth or reusable tea bag if you have that on hand.)

Let it cool to room temp

You can either use it all at once, or portion it for however many days you want to do the working for. The more days you do this for, the more powerful the working typically, as repetition compounds the effects

For the actual bath, you can either add it to a tub full of water, or you can take a shower and at the end of the shower pour it over your head. Either way, you need to be praying for it to cleanse you and strip away any blocks, any negative energies that are stuck to you, any unwanted energies. Then pray for protection from said energies and protection from any baneful or malefic magic that may be thrown your way in the near future, and finally pray for prosperity, wealth, blessings, and abundance. Also pray any psalms that you are drawn to that would work for this purpose

I hope this one gets circulated honestly, I don't think there's a lot of people that realize that a spell/working can have more than one purpose baked into it. I hope this one helps some people, too. More than that, this bath could also be used in your mop water or on your doors as well

The Astronomial's Money/Abundance Bath Ritual:

~$ "Money Bee 🐝" $~

Hey y'all! Got a new spell for you.

Basically, a bath that helps you attract money and anundance. It's especially handy, if you're in a pinch. So, let's get started! However, you're gonna need a few things.

Ingredients:

1.) A bath tub and bathwater.

2.) Sea salt

3.) Apple juice (preferably squeezed or from a apple, but either is fine).

4.) Grounded Cinnamon

5.) Green or red apple peels

6.) Green spell candle (with a holder or container).

7.) Lighter or match (or something, to light your candle).

8.) Either a a fake gold coin, fake dollar bills (about 3-4 bills).

9.) Optional: green pouch

So, first you wanna get the bath tub running. Then, throw in sea salt, to cleanse the energy in the water. All while, the tub is being filled up.

Throw in a splash of your apple juice, into the water. Next your apple peels. Now, it's onto the candle.

Place your fake money, under the candle. Making sure it has a safe bottom/holder. This way, the money won't catch on fire. Finally, once your money is securly placed, underneath, imagine yourself being surrounded by money. And tons of it, too! Imagine it being pulled towards yourself, whilst it's all spinning around you. Really, get into the vision.

As if, you are the Sun and the money is the planets. Once you visualize it and feel it, light your candle.

Upon, lighting your candle, chant the following:

"For a single coin, I carry

More I find to spare.

For every single hair, the fibre if my being

Abundance is always in flair.

I am the magnet, to all things in use for spending

No more need for mending

As above, and so below, and thus mote it be."

Time step, into the bath. Turn off any water, still running. Take your time bathing.

You're ready to receive, now! Congratulations. :)

Optional step: When your done bathing, you can take the fake money and/or apple peels, and put them in a green pouch (any shade). This will act as a magnetic building block, for attracting money to itself. Meaning, by doing so, it will attract even more money to you. You can thank me later. lol
