Wally, spraying a melted cutting board with a tiny water gun: We gotta cool this bitch down. Cool it down.
Bart: I actually just put the cutting board in the oven...
Barry, visibly confused: Okay, so they decided to put the cutting board in the oven?
Wally, spraying Bart: You FUCKING DUMBASS!
Bart: Dude, I forgot-
Wally: OH MY FUCKING GOD! We're trying to make Chicken Alfredo right now, and you fucking MELT the cutting board in the oven at 400 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT!?
Jay: *Watching in complete confusion while trying to process this whole situation.*

Tufted Titmouse, upper left;, Black-crested Titmouse upper right; Bridled Titmouse, lower left; “Plain” Titmouse, now divided into two nearly identical species, the Oak Titmouse and the Juniper Titmouse, and I am going to guess this is the Oak, the browner of the two. This is from the National Geographic Series, and again, these small, softly-plumaged birds seem to be made for Brooks to paint.

So the art in this issue has been... Okay. Some of it good, definitely leaning into a certain unusual style- but the further this goes on the more worried I'm getting.
This story is the one with that terrible art of everyone dancing in the club, isn't it? The one with insane proportions?
oh boy...
Also Vector looks mad with something in the last panel- what?
At some points in this issue, the proportions actually work rather decent I feel- then the very next panel, we see them from a different perspective or the proportions are inconsistent or they're making some kinda of motions, and it all looks completely off.
Panel 1 Vector below looks pretty alright to me (weird and different, but not bad), but the next two panels are completely bizarre.

A Ghost Story for Christmas: Count Magnus (2022)
"The, um, the mausoleum - the Count's tomb - might I crave a..."
"Yes?"
"A visit? It would be so helpful for my researches."
"Certainly. It is in the care of the church in the next village. I shall have a word with the deacon."
"Ah, now that must have been him I saw earlier."
"I beg your pardon?"
"Well, I saw someone. Standing on the steps, locking, or unlocking I suppose, the door. That must have been your deacon."
"Yes. It must have been."

What if you gave a speedster an Oan power ring? If you didn't know, it's a type of lantern ring that is powered by the energy the wilder has within. I was thinking that since speedsters are basically human batteries with a seemingly neverending supply of said internal energy, they'd be unstoppable. They would be able to out last every single lantern out there. Not only that, they will be able to out think every lantern as well.
I would absolutely love to see this in the comics. We've seen a few speedsters use a standard power ring (honestly, I would love to see it done more often), but I can't stop thinking about the possibility of an Oan ring. With the abilities of a lantern and their super speed, they would be a one man army. I have no idea what would call for this overkill, but I feel like it would be a last resort type of deal. Especially because the Guardians use them. I dunno I'm just very intrigued. After all, why not give an overpowered being an overpowered weapon?

What might be the style that Mr. John Philip Shenale is closely associated with the most? What do you think? Well, I can't really say what his genre might be, though I would claim the adult contemporary idiom might be one of those that would suit him the most. I'm not sure why I say this, since he collaborates a lot with Tori Amos who is definitely not a part of the style like Barry Manilow. Yes, Mr. Shenale connects the latter with Mrs. Amos, but this should be seen as the way many session musicians roll here. I would like to imagine Mr. Shenale likes to tell Mrs. Amos his tales about being in a studio with Mr. Manilow and all the crazy stuff that goes on in there. I'm not sure why, I sort of laugh at such a possibility.
