Orange Peel Theory

how would they act if you asked them to peel your orange for you.

Thor

he wouldn't even question why you were asking him.

he could be in the middle of a conversation and he would just grab the orange and peel it for you.

Knowing thor he would probably struggle to get it going at first because he doesn't want to break the orange in half.

But when he gets it going he does it so gently.

He would hand it back to you and when you place your hand on his arm and thank him. He would act as if it wasn't that big of a deal and say your welcome.

He would not know about the orange peel theory. Honestly just thinking you needed his help.

Argyle

Argyle would be in his living room on the couch. He would be smoking and getting high.

He would probably be talking to Jonathan when you enter and sitting next to him.

You would politely wait until he was finished with what he was saying before holding the orange in front of him.

he would be confused as to why your handing him an orange and take it anyways.

"thanks" he says in a questioning tone. You shake your head and tell him that you need his help peeling it.

He nods and he pushes his thumb into the middle of it and begins to peel it. He had slightly longer fingernails than you did so he did it quite easily.

Once he was finished he took one slice of an orange and ate it.

Then handed you the rest and when you gave him a look he laughs and shrugs. "hey im hungry too"

You ended up sharing the orange with him anyways.

Raj

you wouldn't even have to ask Raj to help you.

He would look at you and notice you struggling and would offer to help.

Doesn't matter if he was with his friends or not. He would offer to help.

If sheldon or someone asked why you needed help. He would stick up for you.

Sheldon would understand if you didn't like how sticky oranges were. Because he himself has problems with textures and things like that.

Raj would peel the orange then hand it back to you. Then throw away the peel.

He would even come back with a napkin for you.

Raj would know about the orange peel theory.

however he wouldn't say anything just wanting you to never really have to ask him for anything.

if he had it his way. he would do everything for you and with you.

for his help you would kiss his cheek and he would be very flustered

Fred

Fred would definitely be oblivious to you needing help.

he would be preoccupied with setting traps.

it would take you a few times of saying his name so you would have to go and tap on him.

he would be patient with you and when you ask him for help he would.

fred would struggle for a second before getting it.

Once it was peeled he would hand you the orange

then when you would place a kiss to his cheek he would blush.

he would go back to his trap and whatever he was working on.

But the whole day he would be in a happier mood.

he wouldn't miss the change to help you.

only if you asked though.

he wouldn't want to be over bearing and make you feel like you couldn't do anything.

so he would wait until you asked for help.

Steddie brainrot continues to worsen to a concerning degree but here's a crack idea that is absolutely sending me:

Famous Spicy Six in which Jonathon is a director who decides to work on a passion project: a Scooby-Doo movie. His ideal cast is as follows:

Nancy Wheeler (investigative journalist with a few special appearances on crime dramas) as Daphne Blake

Argyle (an actor with a habit of playing small parts; he acts only because he thinks it's fun, so he's not concerned with significant roles) as Shaggy Rogers

Robin Buckley (a well-known voice actor who is more well-known for her social media posts and clap-backs) as Velma Dinkley

Steve Harrington (basketball star who is also more well-known for his social media clap-backs and for being Corroded Coffin's number one fan) as Fred Jones

Eddie Munson (frontman for Corroded Coffin, an insanely popular metal/punk/rock band and "infamous" for unashamedly posting Steve Harrington thirst tweets) as the voice of Scooby-Doo

Corroded Coffin is also creating an entirely new, original soundtrack for the movie

And because I think it's funnier this way, this is also an AU where the Upside Down still happened, so Jonathon just calls his friends up and is like "Okay, so hear me out"

The absolute insanity that breaks out when both the movie and cast are announced because nobody can figure out how Jonathon managed to convince all these powerhouses to join his movie.

The further screaming online after one of the movie promo interviews where a reporter asks how they all agreed to the movie and Nancy hits them with, "Well, Jonathon asked, and he never asks for anything."

Which leads to the discovery that they all knew each other in high school, and the reporter jokingly asks if that means they've all dated each other, too, which leads to Eddie jumping in with absolute delight like, "Well, that's a funny story, there. See, Stevie here dated Nancy, who then dated Jonathon when they broke up, who then dated Argyle after they broke up. And I thought Stevie and Robin were dating, so I was very confused when I saw Robin and Nancy kissing. But then I found out that Robin was a true-blue lesbian, which meant Stevie here was open for the taking, and we've been banging ever since."

and Steve is just sitting there, head in his hands while Robin cackles and decides to tell the reporter all about Steve's "fuck I have a crush on Eddie" crisis

This interview, of course, leads to even more freaking out online and comments like "I know I asked for poly Scooby gang, but this is ridiculous," and "I can't believe that in this, the year of our lord 20xx, ScoobyXFreddy became a canon ship," and "if I had a nickel for every romantic relationship the Scooby gang actors have had with each other, I'd have five nickels, which is way more than any of us fucking expected to have," and "suddenly Eddie Munson's thirst tweets make a lot more sense, but can we talk about Steve Harrington's CC tweets now," and "everyone say thank you to Eddie Munson for revealing that mess of a relationship map," and "finally, the canon lesbian velma and daphne we deserve"

The movie is a box office hit, btw, and bloopers from filming roll with the credits, among which is Eddie Munson making Steve Harrington lose his shit laughing on set while dressed in a Scooby Doo onesie and singing Corroded Coffin songs with his Scooby Voice

It’s October 31st and Eddie has to admit, he’s having a pretty great night. He had second thoughts about coming to party but now that he’s settled in amongst his friends he’s started to relax, talking to Argyle about their weirdest food combinations which somehow leads on to a discussion on if you’d rather have a hippo or a giraffe for a best friend when Eddie’s night takes a nose dive.

Steve and Robin have finally arrived. Robin is decked out in a, quite frankly, terrifyingly accurate costume of Jareth from labyrinth. But she’s not Eddie’s concern. His eyes slide over Steve’s body unsure where to look first. Because Steve is fulfilling every fantasy Eddie never knew he had. Steve Harrington is Indiana Jones. But it’s not just any Indiana Jones costume. The arm of his shirt is ripped off, shirt open, dirt streaked across his face. He’s wearing glasses and right there in his hand is the source of Eddie’s every future waking dream, a whip

Eddie sees Steve and he wants. He wants so badly he can’t form a thought, his tongue is thick in his mouth and the heat is rising up his chest and neck. He knows he going to be obvious but he can’t stop himself. Eddie wants to know what it would feel like to be trapped up against a wall with Steve’s arm encasing him, to have Steve press in so close but not quite touching, teasing Eddie with the hint of what their body’s might feel like together. Wants to know how far down that tan goes and if he can touch the places it doesn’t reach. And the whip, oh god the whip. Would Steve tie him up with it? Trail it over his body lightly, teasing Eddie knowing that all he really wants is Steve’s hands, Steve’s mouth, just Steve. He wonders if he could take the whip from him, turn the tables, show Steve how he makes Eddie feel, make him beg to be touched, to be bitten to be surrender.

Eddie’s thoughts don’t get much further, suddenly Steve is standing over him and Eddie can’t talk, can’t breathe. He just wants.

You may have seen Anthony Boyle on your screens recently as Harry Crosby in Apple tvs 'Masters of the air' or as Kevin Maxwell in 'Tetris', but where have you probably seen him before?

Before he rose to fame in 2016, he was in an episode of 'Game of thrones' as a Bolton Guard in the episode 'The laws of gods and men'. But he doesnt stay for long as he gets his throat cut.

His rise to fame started in 2016 when he landed the role of Scorpius Malfoy in the play 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' for which he was nominated for an Olivier and won. He went from a small local actor from Belfast to suddenly the main actor in a play that the world couldn't stop talking about. He spent three years running around in a blonde wig at the Palace theatre in London and the Lyric theatre in New York where the play is still shown to this day.

After this, he landed small roles such as David Donnely in 'Derry Girls', a comedy which is set in the town of Derry in Northern Ireland which is his home country. His friend, the writter of the show, approached him and asked him if he wanted to be in the show and he accepted, being in it for two episodes.

In 2018, he was cast as Jack Argyle in the BBC drama 'Ordeal by Innocence' which was written by Agatha Christie. A show about a family of adopted children who must work out who killed their mother, unfortunately, the blame is landed on Anthony Boyle's character.

In the same year, he played Liam Farrell in the drama series 'Come home' where he starred along side Christopher Eccleston. A mother unexpectedly abandons her husband and three children and they try to figure out what may have caused this.

In the year after, he played the role of Geoffrey Bache Smith in the biopic 'Tolkien' about the life of JRR Tolkien. Boyle plays one of thr actors closest friends through their time at school and during the war.

In 2020, he was in 'The plot against American' featuring Wynona Ryder. Based on the 2004 book by the same name, the story follows a Jewish working class family set in an alternate America where they watch popularist Charles Lindbergh, an aviator-hero and xenophobe, become President.

In 2021, he played Brian Wood in the true story of 'Danny Boy', a soldier who is accused of war crimes in Iraq.

2022 was a quiet year for Boyle as covid had stopped the production of most tv shows and movies but in 2023, Boyle starred along side Taron Egerton and Toby Jones as Kevin Maxwell in the biopic 'Tetris' which revolves around the game Tetris, its origins and how it became one of the most famous video games in history.

However, in 2024, Boyle seems to have won the lottery with four projects coming out this year already. The first, 'Masters of the air' where he plays an air sick navigator in world war two with Austin Butler. The series which is made by Apple tv is set to be released over two months from January 26th to March 15th.

And if you're not already sick of seeing his face, his new show (surprise surprise, on Apple tv) is set to release on March 15th. Boyle plays the famous actor John Wilkes Booth in 'Manhunt' who assasinated President Lincoln in 1865 and follows the days after this as the nation slides to a halt in the search for the actor.

He is then set to play Jack Barak in the Disney plus show 'Shardlake' which is set on the book by the same name. Set in the reign of King Henry VIII in the 16th century, Boyle plays former Cromwell henchman turned law clerk and investigator for the main character.

Boyle is also set to feature in the New York times best seller book adaptation say nothing which is about the struggles and troubkes in northern ireland which comes out this summer.

These are just some of the many tv shows, movies and theatre shows that Anthony Boyle has and will star in. When he was just starting out acting, he said that he would take any role that fit his description (white male with dark brown hair) meaning he was in alot of embarassing but funny stuff. One where he dresses up as a mummy for halloween and must escape a group of killer clowns, one where he plays a man who is inlove with a pillow and one where he plays a convict on the run in Northern Ireland and has to wear a dress and a wig to escape authorities. However, if you lived in Belfast in the late 2000s, you could probably see him lurking behind big Tescos with a plastic bag on his head.

It seems that Boyle is turning out to be a very promising actor with lots of work lined up. Infact, he is set to record a new show which is set in Scotland. He said on the British talk show 'Sunday Brunch' that he is looking forward to it and has to talk in a Scottish accent.

recently watched:

I.S.S - Solid space suspense thriller that exceeded low expectations. Good performances all around.

POLICE STORY - First watch of JC classic. Just as many comedy gags as action beats if not more. Goofy and entertaining. Action is great. Loved a particular scene where Jackie gets very angry. Never see that in his recent movies.

BRAIN DONORS - An old fave of my dad's that I never saw. Surprised that it's basically a Marx brothers movie that is very well executed. Much of the humor is extremely horny though which sours it. Opening scene with Bob Nelson is very similar to opening of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, which is something you can rarely say. Was also glad to spot THE SOPRANOS' Nancy Marchand as the wealthy dowager.

LOVELY DARK AND DEEP - Yet another dour horror drama about grief and confronting your demons. This one is confounding and not very entertaining. Go with Bruckner's THE RITUAL instead.

ARGYLLE - I haven't seen Bridget Jones but this seemed like a bunch of studio execs were trying to make a BJ-esque movie with a bunch of spy action stuff as the ultimate date movie or something. Bits of it are fun, but overall it's kind of a mess. There's a bunch of arbitrary twists that feel like they betray the characterization. Really dug that BDH wasn't in typical Hollywood "leading action star role" shape or whatever.
