Astrology observations:
Today in honor of the hyyh era🥳 thank you guys for supporting my posts. I love it here.
one thing about Aquarius placements…they know everybody. I can confirm. I can assure you I know someone who knows someone who can get what you need done. They only got a few friends tho and their 3 friends are always mad confused on who all these people are. And they’re just like 😃 what u mean?? True social butterflies, the get along with everybody. I always think of Megan thee stallion and taehyung as examples. People have spoken about how Megan is friendly with everyone and it helped her career so much and Tae…that man ain’t got not shame he comes up to everyone.
Another thing I’ve noticed about air placements too…they’re gonna have fun. It doesn’t matter what’s going on, where they are, they’re gonna have a good time. “Oh we going grocery shopping?? Bet” they’re gonna have everyone laughing and enjoying that trip. Same with sag but them mfs always wanna be the funniest in the room 😑 it’s not that deep just be urself. If it’s a party Libra brings the drinks and helps everyone with their make up, Gemini tells the jokes, and Aquarius gives us a show.

Earth mercury singers have a lot of vocal control. They also tend to preserve their voices very well, the older they get the better and more stable they sound.
The other day I went to a restaurant with my friends. A virgo, a Taurus, a Capricorn…argued on who pays for 5 minutes straight.

(I had this crazy moment when thinking about ONK today and wanted to tell someone)
If your speculation on the HKAI "I cannot love you" moment is correct, I wonder if the AQRB confrontation re Ruby's request to be seen (and loved) as Sarina to Aqua's Gorou will lead to a similar respond. Ie "I cannot love you the way you want me to, even in the scenario you just described."
Because at the end of the day, if I'm reading it correctly, Gorou was never serious in his "till you're 16" response to Sarina. They both knew that she wouldn't live past 12. Sarina/Ruby is delusional but only in a way a girl (sick and fated to die at 12 with the only person kind to her being her doctor) who didn't get to mature in her thinking could be. And imo that parallels to Hikaru, who's experience in "romance" was offering himself in exchange for "love". (Airi's defense for herself was that they were in love, which I suspect was something she told Hikaru, too.)
Tldr: Ruby in her right mind would not proposition her brother, just like 15YL Hikaru in his right would not think grooming is a form of romance. And it is the other person's responsibility to say "no, I can not offer you what (you think) you want".
Another response that's ultimately too late oops… I do still have a lot to say on this topic tho so I hope it's still interesting to read!
Message from future Claire after they finished writing this ask: tehepero… this one turned into a huge ramble so um. please forgive me. Also, spoilers for Usagi Drop made their way in here, if someone somehow doesn't know the big twist of that ending in 2024…
RE: Gorou and Sarina, this is for sure the intended read of their relationship to a degree . Spica downplays/sidesteps this aspect of their relationship a lot but even there it's said explicitly that Gorou was one hundred percent aware that Sarina's long term prognosis was basically non existent. It definitely makes him way more indulgent of and receptive to the "omg Sensei marry me stuff" but even then it's pretty clear that it is, again, just indulging her.
The manga by contrast is much more strongly characterized by this sense of shared but unspoken preemptive grief for the inevitable, where both of them understand but don't really want to talk about it out loud. It added an interesting wrinkle to their relationship that I liked a lot and was disappointed to see Spica iron out but ironing out the interesting parts is kind of what Spica does in general and isn't specific to Gorou and Sarina lol
BUT UH my point is that because of this shared sense of grief and awareness of Sarina's mortality I never really got the impression that she was under even the slightest illusion that Gorou was serious which is why later materials' framing of her as being convinced she can and will be in a relationship with him feel so weird to me. The SENSEI KEKKON SHITE thing doesn't even really feel like Sarina herself is all that serious about it - the energy is almost more like a running bit. Obviously her feelings for him were very strongly and sincerely held and I do think it makes sense for her to jump to actively wanting to be in a romance with him and thinking it was plausible post 123 when her brain has been ensoupened but again, there's that backfill in both Spica and main story material that implies she was ALWAYS that hung up on and deluded about him and tbh I don't really know what to make of it.
In an exclusively post 123 context though, I do really agree with this take on Ruby! This is obviously not a healthy response nor is she thinking at all realistically about what she's propositioning, especially given the kind of weird energy in 143 where she just never even acknowledges Aqua's existence as her brother. Honestly the way OnK has handled AquRuby since 123 and its reluctance to actually acknowledge the incest when it bothers to take Ruby's feelings is very strange to me and I can't quite tell if it's intentional or not yet.
If it IS intentional, then I think it's the set up for Ruby being smacked in the face with the reality of what actually being in a relationship with Gorou-via-Aqua would would actually mean. Because like, regardless of how you or me or anyone feels about incest as a fictional device, in-universe Oshi no Ko is essentially set in our own world - a dramatically exaggerated version with supernatural elements, sure, but still paralleling our own closely enough to comment on real world issues. For OnK to treat most of the other taboos and issues it addresses as seriously as it does and NOT do the same with incest would be incredibly jarring and deeply incongruous.
If you'll forgive a tangent within a tangent, this is a big part of why the infamous ending of Usagi Drop comes off as so fucking unhinged. It's not just that the story twists itself into a pretzel to hook up Rin and Daikichi (though, you know… that), it's that everyone in the cast acts like a fucking space alien on service of making it happen and it occurs with no conflict or consequences. There's this bizarre energy around the cast interactions that's hard to accurately convey, but every time someone in-universe finds out about Rin's feelings for Daikichi, it's immediately treated like them hooking up is not only the obvious and inevitable conclusion but that Daikichi is somehow obligated to enter a romance with Rin purely because she has feelings for him. Daikichi's own feelings on the matter are irrelevant. As far as the story is concerned, him going from seeing Rin as his daughter to seeing Rin (very explicitly and textual) as a romantic and sexual partner is as easy as flipping a switch and it's purely macho stubbornness that keeps him from doing so. It's absolutely mind boggling to read.
Anyway. Oh my God. To cut my EXTREMELY long rambling short and actually loop back around to the point of all this: Because of ^ ALL THAT ^ and the way the story has very conspicuously dodged around the HKAI breakup and suddenly swerved to 15YL's depiction of Ai's time in hospital, I'm still pretty certain that the "I can't love you (like that)" is going to be the main emotional capstone for Ruby's own character arc within the Movie Arc as a whole and possibly the emotional climax/resolution of wtfever OnK is doing with AQRB (& GRSR through them) right now. Given how much weight was given to that scene in particular way back when I'd be shocked if we skipped it and I do think there's some merit to the reads of Aqua and Ruby each paralleling the 'opposite' parent, so to speak - Nik (@akane-kurokawa) even pointed out in their 143 review that while the AquRuby kiss is paralleled by the in-movie HikaAi kiss, Aqua is in Ai's position and Ruby is in Hikaru's.
I do hope that this is something intentional and that we'll see something come of it - if nothing else, seeing Ruby have to deal with her relationship to and feelings about her father and the knowledge that he killed her beloved mom is something I really wanted out of the Movie Arc and I've been sorely disappointed by it being reduced to gag fodder thus far. But like I always say at this point, the Movie Arc is such an unfocused clusterfuck I have no idea if this is something we can rely on to be a long term theme.

fantasy au doobles
To once again lure you into a HC post !!! >:}
Au’s meant to be modern fantasy setting! Magic and technology kinda coexist together. Because it’s still based on the pokemon world which is generally speaking Very Chill, attack magic barely exists/isn’t really practiced by anyone. People who can do it just do it for practical purposes. No epic laser fight battles here it’s just folks going shopping casually but with fairy wings
Basics for what everyone is;
-Maxie is a faun! Long time ago Satyr and Faun were their own things in the world, Faun being nature/animal spirits and Satyr belonging to the demons but over time they kinda mixed to the point there’s no real distinction anymore. Still, it means that some faun still have dark magic/fire magic affinity! Some more then others, some not at all. Maxie personally can’t do much more then light and manipulate a small candle fire, but it makes for a nice parlour trick if nothing else.
-Courtney is a changeling! Changeling are pretty much just human, but their blood confirms they are in fact of fae blood. Due to changelings being weeded out much more easily due to modern technology, it was discovered Courtney was one shortly after she got switched in as a baby, and she was promptly placed in the foster care system. As a result she never truly got to feel like a part of a family until she got recruited in Magma, who she now cares for very deeply
-Tabitha is a half human, half golem! There’s no super interesting lore here, sorry king. Golems are just earth spirits, and it means he has some rocks sticking out of his body/he’s sturdier then regular humans.
-Archie is a selkie! Same here, selkies are pretty much the same as they are in normal lore. Seals with the ability to transform into humans, keeping their seal skin as coat to transform back and forth.
-Matt is a water spirit. He can merge with/transform into water whenever he feels like it, and can control water to a certain degree! His tattoo’s change whenever he reforms his human body to whatever he feels like.
-Shelly is a mermaid! There’s a split between regular mermaids and sirens, sirens being the one able to lure people with their singing (Not that that ever really happens anymore, but the power remains), mermaids just being regular half human/half fish. Shelly may just be a regular mermaid, but she’s one of the head scientists when it comes to making medicine/potions available to the mass public to allow water creatures on land without drying out and land dwellers to breathe underwater!
Right now that is already possible but mainly trough use of amulets and charms, which need magic to produce, which make them very costly. She’s determined to make them accessible to more people.
-May is a wood elf, Brendan and his family are human, Wally used to be human but due to his parents trying a little too hard to combat his illness with magic charms they could find, he’s only half alive now, technically a zombie.
-Monsters in the regular sense don’t really exist anymore, mostly having slowly disappeared in evolution chains. Regular animals sure are still around though! And then there’s the legends and myths… Rumors that a few powerful monsters of old remain with the powers of gods. Because these creatures are incredibly powerful and pretty much no one is trained enough in combat magic to protect themselves from them, having them around would be a disaster. Luckily these seem to just be rumors.
-They are not just rumors, and when Magma and Aqua awaken two ancient god monsters to help their causes it almost causes the entire region to be wiped off the map. Luckily May and Zinnia, a girl from dragon descendants, found a third angry green snake legend in the woods who helped them clean things up.
-(Because there are entire underwater cities now full of people, Magma’s goals in specific have changed a bit. Their entire thing is helping people after all, and they are not about to screw over so many people. Instead they want to awaken their respective god to make the land they have more fertile so more resources can be obtained from the space they have.) (Aqua was okay with causing a flood before, Aqua is okay with causing a flood now. They promise they meant well and are very sorry about all of that after the fact)

Encanto Headcannons #12
* Luisa room is the only place she feels she can be herself and relax. Once you walk in it’s tidy and clean with a bunch of workout equipment and jungle gyms. Her bed space though, covered in stuffed animals blankets and pillows. Ridiculously messy but not so messy she can’t just clean it up
* Isabela’s room is now a crafty mess. Good luck walking around in there, your shoes will come out a different color.
* Antonio doesn’t like rice. He’s also vegan
* Abuela doesn’t super care for Antonio’s gift, constantly annoyed by all the animals. She puts it aside though cause her grandson is happy
* Luisa sometimes steals tonito’s jaguar to cuddle with. An annoyed Antonio just glaring at her while she sleeps on her hammock
* As new generations join the Madrigal family they continue to stay color coded. Isabelas family being lilacs and pinks, Luisa’s purples and dark blues, Mirabel’s being light blues and aqua, Dolores red, Antonio Orange, and Camilo yellow. They just a rainbow at this point.
* Camilo is very close with Julieta and opens up to her about his issues while he helps her cook
* Dolores doesn’t always understand Camilo but always listens and try’s her best to understand. Mariano will do the same sometimes
* Mariano is the one to comfort Camilo after he gets rejected by the person he likes
* Isabela will constantly point out and tease Mirabel about crushes and who she thinks Mirabel would be cute with
* Mirabel was so relieved when she turned her attention on Luisa once finding out she had a crush
* The moment her sisters question her love life though, her face deadpans and she tells them to shut up
* Little girls will give Antonio flowers. He’ll get Isabela to make him one to give them back in return thinking it’s a cute little exchange thing
* Luisa has to keep her cool to not squash an extra annoying bird that will sometimes bother Antonio
* Dolores or Isabela having to stop Camilo from throwing a rock at it at times
* Every time someone asks Isabela to make them roses she groans. Her mom is the only exception tho
* Agustin has fallen asleep multiple times in Mirabel’s bed after a good conversation. She just covers him with a blanket and continues sewing
* Luisa and Pepa have read some of the same books and will cry or gush over them together
* Luisa has physically picked up and moved her family members out of situations or arguments to make it stop
* Agustin has tried to workout with Luisa in her room. Only injuring himself, his daughter forcing him to promise to just do light things when they work out together
* In Isabela’s room Agustin convinces his daughter sometimes to let him swing on her vines. Him pretending his a great acrobat. Thank god there mom has the power she does
* Luisa was very disappointed in her room once she opened the door on her gift day. She performed and showed off her strength to everyone at the ceremony upon Abuela’s request. She broke down after the party ended crying in her parents arms sad her room wasn’t more like Isabela’s and that everyone cared more about her gift than her that day.
* Luisa would often sneak back into the nursery during the first year of her gift to sleep by the babies
* When Camilo and Mirabel were younger they would fight all the time, more for fun than anything
* Pepa commented that they didn’t fight or annoy her one day so they purposely started fighting to annoy her
* Antonio likes to play with the earrings his family members wear, often batting at them as he’s being held

Harry Styles: your brother, the boy who invited his entire family to the Academy Awards. There’s a good blend of artists and actors here tonight, and you're incredibly proud of him and his newest and debut film: Dunkirk.
You’d walked the red carpet after Harry, waving to the paparazzi and saying hello to the interviewers you recognized. You locked eyes with a certain actor from across the carpet, but you were pulled away from him before you could stare any longer. It was probably all in your head, anyways.
As you gather inside, the stage lights are dim, alerting you that the show hasn’t started yet and conversations can continue within the auditorium. You’re seated in between Gemma and Harry, and on Harry’s other side is Tom Hardy, conversing with him.
You can’t help but watch the entrance of the building as actors keep pouring in, some holding hands with their lovers, others linking arms with costars. When a familiar brunette strides through with a couple other people trailing behind him, you feel yourself heating up and you force yourself to turn away. Your dress is a deep shade of green, sleeves draped over your arms in a loose lace fitting. The dress poofs out and hangs nicely on your figure; Harry insisted on getting something tailored, and now here you are, showing off the creation.
Twisting in your seat, you glance around to look for that certain-somebody, and you’re taken aback when you see him in the row behind you, already staring at you. Your mouth drops open in shock, something he smirks at, and as you do a once over on his outfit, he blushes. Quickly, you turn back around and sit harshly in the seat.
“You good, squirt?” Harry asks, hand on the arm of his chair while he takes in the signs of your stance. You nod quickly, dismissively, hoping to shake him off your tail, but he looks around before shrugging a smirk off. When he peers over the seat, he makes eye contact with a fellow British actor who’s blushing while harshly gripping the arms of his chair, no doubt sweating through his tuxedo.
“Whatever,” he speaks through a teasing tone. Though he’s being playful, it’s only because he thinks nothing will come from the newly arisen sexual tension.
However, he’s proven wrong when the after party begins.
You’re sitting at a rounded table with Harry and a few of his friends who are also in Hollywood’s spotlight. Of course, your family is also here, but you can’t help but feel like there’s a lingering pair of eyes following you from across the room.
Excusing yourself to the bar, you stand from your seat and place your napkin on the table, abandoning the comfort of your loved ones and making your way to the bar, making eye contact with the brown-haired boy, a seemingly universally accepted message. Not a second later, he stands from his own table, eyes following you until his feet pick up and he heads in your direction.
Unbeknownst to both of you, Harry watches the entire encounter with a clenched jaw. He watches as you lean against the bar, as the actor fellow strides over to you. He wants to laugh because you both look entirely awkward and nervous, but alas, he turns away and convinces himself you’ll be back in a matter of minutes. Nothing will come from it.
“H-Hey,” Tom greets, elbow leaning on the counter. You adjust your hair and look down bashfully.
The bartender asks for your orders and you both pitch. You take a seat on the stool while you wait, Tom’s eyes drifting downwards and absorbing your outfit.
“Hi.”
“You look beautiful, by the way.”
“Thank you,” you speak quietly, shying away from the compliment.
“I’m… I’m Tom,” he offers a hand and a gentle smile. You look up at his eyes and then down to his hand before shaking it.
“Y/N.”
“Styles?”
“Yeah,” you sigh out with a chuckle.
Tom nods, glancing over to your table and making eye contact with your older brother. “Harry is… intimidating.”
You hum, “Why’s that?”
“He’s your older brother who happens to be staring daggers into my soul.”
You laugh at that, turning your head in the direction of the older bloke. With an embarrassed eye roll, you gesture for him to look away but he doesn’t move.
“He’s always like this?”
“What, protective?” You offer, taking a sip of your fresh Aqua Velva. Tom sips his own beer with a nod. “Yeah — mostly around potential, uhm, boyfriends. It takes a lot for him to warm up to new people in that, uh… sense.”
Tom nods, and you watch the blush creep up on his face and tint his cheeks a bright pink-red.
“What about you?”
“What about me?”
You roll your eyes and Tom chuckles while taking a seat on the stool beside you. “You got any brothers? I noticed you brought a few boys with you.”
“Yeah, I’ve got three younger bros,” he takes another gulp of the beverage before placing the glass down.
You nod, acknowledging his words. “Must be nice.”
“What?”
“Being the oldest.”
“Eh,” he shrugs, fiddling with the trousers of his suit. “I’ve always been the oldest, y’know? I guess I’m just used to… being that supportive older brother who cheers them on.”
“That’s really sweet,” you compliment, placing a hesitant hand on his knee.
Tom glances up at you at the single affection, blush increasing while he smiles shyly. You smile back, assuring him of your statement, and he can’t help but get bashful under your gaze.
“You’re really cool,” he speaks softly so only the two of you can hear him. “Do you… wanna hang out or- or something?”
Your grin widens and you nod at the ground, too shy for eye contact. Before the conversation can progress any more, your brother is striding up, his famous voice surprising the both of you.
“Who’s this?”
Your hand retracts immediately and Tom stands from the stool almost too quickly, nearly knocking over his own drink. Tom offers a hand, but when he has to look up to make eye contact with your older brother, he almost cowers backwards. You can sense Tom’s nervousness, so with newfound courage, you stand beside both of them.
“Harry, this is Tom. Tom, this is my brother.”
“Pleasure to meet you,” Tom re-offers his hand.
Harry hums, accepting it nonetheless. “‘S nice to meet you, too.” They lazily shake hands, and you roll your eyes at your brother’s antics.
“I’m sure Gemma needs her drink now.”
“How did you-”
“Tom and I are gonna go dance for a little,” You grab his hand quickly, the two of you abandoning your finished drinks and quickly striding away from the six foot Brit.
Tom exhales deeply when you’re just over ten feet away, free of the confines. “He’s so intimidating.”
You smile, looking down at your linked hands. “Only because he knows you’re a potential boyfriend.”

Rewrite shower thoughts I gotta jot down before I forget:
I’m really glad I’m rewatching! It’s fun to remember stuff, and I think that I’ve thought of way more interesting things by revisiting the source. Recommend! I think I have to scrap chunks of my script bc I thought of new things, lol. That’s the process tho!
Gaito thoughts:
While I haven’t posted them all here, I have rewatched and taken notes on episodes 1 - 16 of Pitch. Unless I’m forgetting a line here or there. Gaito’s given reason for doing what he is doing is because he thinks the princesses and their pearls are pretty, and he likes pretty things. Like, he caresses the glass encasing Noel and ignores Lucia to her face when he’s got her in his grasp. He has the new shiny thing, but doesn’t have them all, so onto the next! This is a good villain! This is not my favorite type of villain, but still good. He’s downright cruel to the Dark Lovers, who literally live to serve him, and (if I’m remembering right) has no problem destroying the Black Beauty Sister’s sentience, which is effectively a death. Cold and goal oriented. Good, simple, and clear!
BUT. Once Sara enters the picture, Gaito’s villainy gets less direct? If I remember correctly, we don’t get the reveal about Gaito’s ~tragic backstory~ until maybe three episodes before he dies. Additionally, he chooses to die, which is framed in a redemptive light. The turnaround on what the audience is supposed to feel about Gaito is way too quick! (again, if i remember correctly). Before the narrative wants us to feel bad for him, Gaito is just a villain. And that’s fine! There’s nothing wrong with an antagonist just being a bad guy! Not everyone is Zuko.
I actually prefer the idea of a young, lonely, and misguided Gaito committing his sea-crimes out of a more explored backstory. I think it’s more interesting! It also gives Kaito more of an identity when it comes to Panthalasa. What does it mean for Kaito to be a lost prince to a dead kingdom? If I remember, it doesn’t really get touched upon ever? He just shoots light from his forehead when the plot needs it. Obvs, this kind of stuff is why I’m planning the rewrite in the first place! At this point, I’m using the backstory-driven Gaito, but what about Sara?
Sara thoughts:
Sara is an interesting character. She’s a pretty strong foil for parts of Lucia and Hanon as well as being a look at the “what if the good guy went bad?” genre. Her innocent trust was broken as a young teen, and her emotional outburst essentially destroys her home. She probably ended some lives. How does she deal with that? The anime only focuses on her relationship with Taro, so idk! Sara comes to hate humanity, which rubs off on Gaito when she meets and stays with Gaito. He does what he does for her. She seems to be completely smitten with him as well, but she is so focued on her hate that she uses him to enact her revenge. She also chooses to die with Gaito, as a form of atonement.
Sara has been so motivated the whole time that it seems a little out of left field for her to just give up at the end. Here’s an outline of an idea I’m playing with: At the end, Gaito does not die with Panthalassa. Gaito and the others (let’s be real, it’s mostly going to be Coco) try to convince Sara to live peacefully with the rest of them. Sara doesn’t. Sara is still angry. Sara isn’t going to quit. Sara shatters her pearl tear in defiance to the others, Aqua Regina, and her destiny as a mermaid princess. The shattered pearl would replace the search for soul fragments in Pure, and Sara would replace Michal and Mikeru as the main antagonists of Pure. They’d still be there, but maybe Sara would replace Fuku as the mastermind villain!
Quick Michal thoughts:
I don’t remember much about her except that she’s a good foil for Lucia, and also she’s kind of annoying? I’ll get to her character later, but man do I want her to be a good character. As it stands, I think it would be cool for her to be the villain for Aqua, as some kind of mermaid hunter. I’ll get there when I get there.

okay so just gonna like ramble about some placements i think they might have and disclaimer i am no expert or necessarily Fixed in these possible placements. also every sign has good and bad and manifests itself in diff ways so if u dont love the placements i chose sorry babes bladididahhh okay continuing
julien: def think she is a gemini, i think she def gives mutable/gemini sign vibes both in how sometimes she will be a lot more calculated and "bitchy" and then be a lot softer (not saying geminis are two faced but multifaceted), and in how she wants to grow over the course of the season and become more authentic. especially with how geminis are curious and want to see how the world works and question things, the more she explore the more she understands herself. geminis are also super fun and magnetic which i think fits her vibe. plus i think she is definitely a good communicator, even tho i think her speech in 1.04 was.... something... she was able to pull it out on the spot and be well spoken and convince the party goers, so very good with her communication imo. leo rising, bc u kno Magnetic Grand Influencer. always aware of how shes percieved. can be rash, but like, she's fun, shes got a warm heart.
zoya: zoya is canonically a libra (october 22). i think that fits in a lot of aspects, she definitely embodies the traits of libra that are very concerned with justice, and i do think she is diplomatic/logical (her knowing whats important to her and not as caught up in the world of reputation as the others), tho less of a... pushover/peacekeeper as aki is. also her love of the arts in reading/plays. def think she probably has aquarius placements given again the sense of justice but also her being more outspoken/rebellious/unpredictable... aqua mars maybe? could be a cancer moon, for the idea of nostalgia/past, wanting home and security, hating superficiality.
aki: obviously i have not shut up abt him being a libra sun. i just know it in my bones its the introverted libra blueprint the peacekeeping the innocent nature the love of art (film in his case) his magnetic lover pretty boy energy, a pretty defined Aesthetic. diplomatic, always looking at things through logic. libra mercury as well for similar reasons, diplomatic and reserved with his words, objective, tries to make everyone happy even at his own expense (hello forgiving/apologizing to audrey and max for all the shit they did lmao). i think he has a pisces moon because i do think he's sensitive and cares deeply and quite dreamy in his own head but not going to be maybe as reactive as a cancer/scorpio moon. they are a lil weird they can kind of be a pushover/doormat, its the vibes. aquarius rising bc he does have the Mysterious Aloof vibes esp if you don't know him, a loner, a bit weird, abstract outlook, nervous. mayhappssss pisces mars bc its again like p romantic and sensitive but they can be kinda hard to pin down and less agressive but i havent Nailed down a venus/mars yet.
audrey: taurus sun i think. i love the idea that two of the sides of their love triangle are represented by venus and i think it fits with them-- both find love very important and have love for each other, but it doesnt really work romantically bc of their diff styles (like personally as a libra loveee them as friends idk if i could really be in a relationship tho). taurus is fixed and resistant to change bc its what they know, ie, her not wanting to move at all. interesting in aesthetics, being classy, etc. wont hold back her judgement (also guessing she has some fire in her bc of how much she lashes out. mayhaps aries or leo). loyal, at least to julien and the idea of friendship and partnership lmao. wants a loyal partner who stays by her side no matter what. also her love of reading and cooking and domesticity is very taurean. this may be bc of her big eyes but i feel like she has a water rising, i think scorpio rising fits best, she can be quite intimidating, she wants privacy, determined, she wants a reliable partner again. can be impatient.
max: leo sun-- im sorry maybe too obvious LMAO but he's just like very charming, confident, wants fun, dramatic af, loves an indulgent moment, wants people to want him. but also i think very warm and nice to his friends when they need it, like going out with julien, or in softer moments like helping audrey with her mom and cooking breakfast for her and aki. leos are also quite funny which i think max is. he's mischevious, he wants vibrance. i also think leo/taurus and leo/libra compatibility make sense for the love triangle lmao. aries moon, likes confrontation, likes drama, want what they want (and often, they have lots of diff crushes) and will go after it. impulsive. want instant gratifcation, to live life charging ahead and in the moment. don't understand skirting around emotions. i think gemini or sag in mars, because of the freedom/independent aspects, fun, and also the sexuality of the mars signs.
monet: capricorn sun and mercury, she knows what she wants, she wants success and power, and shes going to figure out the most effecient way to get there, no matter what. shes going to protect what she cares about most, shes not gonna deal with the bullshit, a bit of a hater of everything. wealth, oppulence. DEFINITELY has a strong scorpio placement / mars energy--probably scorpio mars as at least one placement: ready for war, secretive, observant, calculating. i think maybe aries rising, direct action, competitive, want to lead, blunt and brusque, quick to drop if its not working, with scorpio and cap placements that drive and aggression to be on top increases.
luna: i think she's a virgo sun, she's calculating/discerning, shes a bit judgy, she has rules and order and you're going to fucking follow them! she's observant, able to figure out things like monet's betrayal. def think shes a libra rising, she is so etheral and magnetic, social. while i dont think her libra manifests in a super diplomat way like zoya or aki, i do think she does try to compromise and find balance in certain areas, like going along with the zoya and julien sister narrative and making it work even though she didnt rlly want to. also the style aspect of her character is v libra rising. leo mercury, she's dramatic and fun and has an ego and some u kno.. scathing shit to say lmao.
obie: okay im sorry he is such a fucking toxic pisces male. projecting fantasies onto ppl and then getting upset when they dont fulfill that? yup! mutable as fuck, never really taking a stand in activism, family, love. wanting to be a martyr. staying in situations he doesnt think will work out bc he wants them to--like waiting until he had an excuse to leave julien, or thinking that maybe things werent good with zoya but holding on. hates when ppl critique him. maybe venus in libra bc very idealistic about what he wants in a relationship and wants things done a certain way or else hes like wtf. idc abt his other placements lmfao

I just realized that I haven’t done a character explanation here in a while and I kinda want to submit another! This time I’ll be using Cedarstar.
Alright let’s take a look!
Cedar was born in the rogue colony that her and her sisters, Lake and Hollow were born in. While there, she was favored by her father for her bravery in battle, even as a young kit. When Lake and Hollow left, she chased them down to persuade them to stay with her to no avail. She was especially sad when Jay, the tracker, caught Hollow and presented her body to the colony. Her father, Perch, was angered by the other kits’ betrayal and forced Cedar to choose between him and her pacifist mother, Frost. He won over his daughter by revealing that the scar on his chest came from her mother.
Wow thats a lot to happen in a young age! I am curious about Frost and why she gave him that scar, he seems to be pretty manipulative so I assume its cause he was sketchy to her?
While Lakefur was in the clans, she (Im assuming Cedar?) was among the group who met with her (Lakefur?) to possibly take over the colony. When Lakefur was exiled from her clan for treachery, their team attacked the colony and she joined the journey to start a new clan called Harmonyclan as Cedarcloud. Perch convinced her to take down the clan while in it. Her father also forbade a mate and kits, since in the colony, a she-cat wasn’t allowed to fight after her first litter.
I think I understand the gist of this, although with Lakefur and Cedarcloud discussed Im a bit confused as to who is being referenced. Im guessing Lakefur was originally in a clan and then exiled, and Cedar also joined that clan to take it down from the inside. As for why a she-cat isnt allowed to fight after their first litter in the colony, why is that? I would think that unless it is a controlling tactic to encourage females not to have kittens, to deprive the colony of fighters (especially young strong ones) would be unwise.
Despite this, she fell in love with a barn cat named Noodle. Perch learned of her pregnancy and forced her to push Noodle in front of a monster. She later had Flintkit and Applekit and was told by their grandfather that if she didn’t kill them, he would. When the kits turned 4 moons, she took them into the forest and attempted to kill them, fearing Perch. Applekit died, while Flintkit lives with a blind eye and multiple scars. He proclaimed that Cedarcloud was the one who did it. She was then exiled from Harmonyclan. She tried to take Flintkit, but he refused to follow.
Ah so her father followed her to Harmonyclan? Was he the de facto leader of that clan then? Sorry Im a bit confused.
She went back to her colony and killed the leader in his den. In their culture, leadership is inherited or won. She led them back to the clan and set camp across the river from Harmonyclan. War was waged and she caused many deaths for Harmonyclan’s already scarce warriors, especially with her new daughter with Lakefur’s ex-mate, Wave. Since she is leader, she can take a mate, but she did it against poor judgment, knowing he’s a player. Stone, their daughter, was very fierce and mean, like how her mother was supposed to be.
Lakestar slowly began to slip into madness as the fighting never stopped from her own sister. One day, she agrees to meet her at the border bridge. Lakestar lunged at Cedar, but out of reflex, Cedar kills Lakestar by slamming her into the ground by her chest. She drags her body back to Harmonyclan and formally apologizes for everything she’s done. She makes friends with her niece and step-daughter, Cloudrise again after wounding her when she stayed with the colony for a while. Flinteye still hates his mom tho. Cedar renames her colony to Cedarclan and agrees to get her nine lives with Scarnose, their deputy, the next night. She also gives a vow to forever sheath her claws.
Wait so Lakestar was the leader of Harmonyclan? I thought she was exiled from the clan? Why was her mate in the colony?
When there, the blind son of Aquaclaw, Fuzzystorm, is there instead. He explains that Scarnose mysteriously passed in the night and an omen was left for him to lead. When they attempt to receive their lives, the judges (the three who control the afterlife) reveal to her that Fuzzystorm killed Scarnose and the sign was faked by Flinteye, her son and his mate. They do not think he deserves his power, so they give him 5 fake lives and only 5 real lives to Cedarstar. If he loses a life, it will go to her.
Fuzzystar proves to be a poor and cruel leader, crippling his brother, Marinepelt, in order to steal his mate, Wildflower (much to Flinteyes annoyance) and killing Aquaclaw for standing up to her sons tyranny. Cedarstar meets with Marinepelt, Wildflower, Cloudrise, Starfall (Cloudrise’s bro), Redfang (the med cat of Strikeclan (that’s Harmonyclan btw) and Aquaclaws daughter), and Floodwing (another Aqua kit). They hatch a plan to have Wildflower pretend to be Fuzzystar’s mate, Marinepelt will stay in Cedarclan, Redfang, Cloudrise, and Starfall will become close advisors to Fuzzystar and Flinteye, and Floodwing and Cloudrise will help communicate. After a while, Wildflower finally sneaks back to Cedarclan and gives birth to Marinepelt’s kits. An enraged Fuzzystar finds out and tries to take them with Cloudrise and Flinteye, but Cloudrise warns them and they are unsuccessful.
They finally agree to battle Strikeclan, but before they do, Perch and Wave protest. They think that Fuzzystar is a good leader and should be left alone. Wave attacks her and in desperation, kills her mate. She is upset enough by the battle, but now she has killed another close to her. She powers through the horror and continues the battle with the plan that Starfall and Cloudrise will corner Flinteye and Windypelt (a close senior warrior to them, who ironically was Scarnoses mate) while Redfang leads Fuzzystar to “safety” by the river and drowns him with Marinepelt. During the battle, before he can be reached, Flinteye pins Cedarstar and criticizes her horrible parenting. She acknowledges him and apologizes for her actions once more, explaining what happened, but he still hates her. While he runs off to fight Starfall and Cloudrise, she is struck with all the death and trauma she has caused through the moons.
After the battle, Marinepelt is made leader instead of Flinteye, who apologizes for going with Fuzzystar, as soon after attacking his mother, he got a vision from Applekit denying him of approval. Windypelt is banished and Cedarstar goes back to her life. She has frequent nightmares about her actions and feels like she’s not meant to lead, but she makes good friends with Marigold, Waves other ex-mate.

Honestly I think allegiances would be helpful, I feel like this is less a discussion about Cedarclaw’s story and more an overview of several different stories here, and without more context I am hopelessly lost. I can see you have a lot planned though, which is great! Maybe you could break it uo into smaller sections and go into more detail about each one?

Honestly those are all freaking smart and will definitely write shit down and try to plan better 😭 I follow trad. astrology with whole houses and use the 3 outer planets for world events. Honestly I like learning about new systems too (if I can convince my cap and aqua placements to) and you actually make me consider modern and draconic?? So gotta look into them from now on too 😂
it seriously helps SO much omg!! i write down like. every single thing. i own like 283928392 notebooks because i write shit down so much (i’ve started using the notes app on my phone + google docs instead tho so i can stop wasting money on notebooks and wasting paper sjlfkdjflkdj), it’s rly helped with my memory 😭 i’m like that old lady at the grocery store carrying around her grocery list checking things off but it rly saves me💀 today i went to the grocery store w/o my list and came back with 8 more things than i needed & i forgot two of the things i went for 😩 but oooh that’s so so cool!! i find traditional astrology & whole house systems so interesting too, and i absolutely can see why people like to follow them too :’) but i’m crying!! i’m so happy i could make u consider modern & draconic astrology too 🥰 i love them soooo much (esp draconic astrology!! it’s like my baby lmfao) and i always recommend ppl to give them a chance!! i think the reason i love modern astrology sm is that i just find my neptune & pluto specifically affect me so personally and strongly in my chart idk 👀 but i definitely see their impacts on world events too like you mentioned!!!!

Not to bug ya' with nonsense or anything, but the 0.2 riku medal is hands down the ugliest in the game
Oh my god, I could only see the first half of this in my notifs and I swear I thought it was gonna be about discourse kgjvichfifnivvn
But anyway, I think all the 0.2 medals have a little... something that's just ever so slightly off about them.
Like, Riku seems decent, but there's just something here that's not right. Of course, 0.2's graphics are basically beta KH3 graphics so that's why it looks kinda off. Everyone was just kinda playdoh-like.
But! Ya know, at least he's not as bad as 0.2 Kairi before she got a new look.
Like, who the fuck was that? Not our Kairi, that's for sure. She looks so good now. But then she looks just a tad better than all the other 0.2 medals. Making their offness more obvious by comparison.
But anyway, you're wrong tho. 0.2 Riku is not the ugliest medal.
THIS is the ugliest fucking medal ever. I can't stand it. That's not Aqua and no one can convince me otherwise. Her head is so squished!! Her facial expression is nothing like the original artwork and the colors are so muddy. I just hate it.

i’m gonna talk about the dark apprentice au again if no one minds...
so!!! before riku leaves to get sora back from wherever it is he’s gone to in exchange for saving kairi, he pulls roxas, xion, and ven aside to talk to them. he tells them that he’s not sure where he’s going to end up, but he knows he will find sora no matter what. but he might need some help, and he can think of no one better to help him than the three people who found refuge in sora’s heart. basically, riku needs the three of them to help guide his heart back to sora’s... he needs them to keep the both of them in their thoughts and hopes every day, to keep the link between them and sora strong and alive.
(riku briefly considers asking kairi to help him with this too, but he also feels guilty for putting this on her shoulders after what she went thru & after losing sora again, so. he refrains.. as he usually does, when it comes to ppl he cares so much about...)
before he leaves tho, roxas and xion offer to go with him, but. riku says it’s something he needs to do alone (his main argument being he’s not sure how dangerous it’s going to be, and he’s unwilling to put anyone else in danger. but... both rox and xion know it’s bc this is a personal task that riku feels he must accomplish alone). he tells them to stay and rest and rebuild their lives again, and to enjoy their newfound freedom and family.
and with that, riku leaves. and the three of them- xion, roxas, & ven- they feel both sora & riku’s absences the heaviest, besides kairi. and so bc of that, once they settle back in at twilight town, xion and roxas make sure to visit the land of departure with lea a lot, looking for a chance to check up on kairi as much as they can. naminé tags along often too!!
one day, xion hears kairi talking to aqua about starting an apprenticeship with the master, and xion is immediately curious. she tries to convince roxas to try and ask aqua for an apprenticeship too, but... roxas feels conflicted about it.
i mean, sure he’s a keyblade wielder and a guardian of the light, but why does he need to become a master?? all rox wants to really do is have a somewhat normal life with his friends and family in twilight town, and wait for riku to bring sora back.
it lowkey becomes a point of contention b/w them bc xion feels like roxas would be a worthy master, but also doesn’t wanna push him to do something he truly doesn’t wanna do and... roxas may not wanna be a keyblade master, but he doesn’t want to grow distant from xion, who will start spending her time learning from her master now.
three months before sora & riku return, roxas and xion (and ven) are still keeping their hearts’ connections to sora and riku open and strong. but xion and lea have both gotten an apprenticeship with master aqua, alongside kairi. and roxas. well. he can’t be too upset for them, bc he mostly just feels proud and happy that they’re doing the things they really want in life.
when riku comes back with sora, roxas immediately visits the land of departure to see them, and spends a week there to be with sora again. in that week, he sees how hard lea and xion are training with aqua and how much they’ve grown and... he has thoughts. in the middle of the week, he hears that riku himself has taken on his own apprentice and it piques roxas’ interest. sure, riku is a master, but he never took him for the kind of person who’d take on a student, especially so soon after returning from a possibly life-changing event??
when roxas returns to twilight town, he can’t stop thinking about how strong lea and xion looked and how happy sora was that riku would have a student of his own!! his conflicted feelings have come back :3c

My (Bad) Review on KH3
Kingdom Hearts 3 Spoilers: Do NOT read if you have not finished the game
Okay so
I loved it. I honestly could not have been happier with it.
I know a lot of people are mad with it, and ya’ll do you. That’s not me, but it’s also okay to dislike it. I can see where frustrations come from, but I personally enjoyed it so much that I’m ready to play it again.
Okay, let’s see if I can keep this semi-organized.
What I loved:
How easy the game was. Now, I know this takes away from a lot of people. But I have NEVER played kingdom hearts because of the gameplay. I’ve always played for the story since I was a kid, and to this day I still cannot beat #1 because Ansem is fucking impossible. I hate that so much. Though #2 was challenging, it was doable and I really did enjoy some of the higher-tier bosses, such as Xigbar. But this was nice. I’m in school now, taking 17 credits, and doing 20 hours a week at an internship. I was able to beat the game before getting burned out (like with many games), and I loved that.
XIGBAR, MY MAN. He has been a favorite since #2, and I have ALWAYS thought about how underappreciated he was and have always wished for him to play a bigger part. WELL BITCHES. HE PLAYS A HUGE PART NOW. Though I will always call him Xigbar, lmao.
THE SEASALT TRIO unITED. This part is what made me cry like such a BITCH. Axel, Xion, and Roxas are some of my favorites (as well as many other peoples’). Roxas, especially, is my son and deserves the world.I cried so much, and then rewatched that same scene a day later and cried like a bitch again.
Xehanort’s end. It was, quite honestly, unexpected and absolutely beautiful. I loved seeing his younger, more innocent self with Master Era-wtf ever his name is (didn’t care much for him). I honestly cannot even explain that scene when Xehanort accepted defeat. I loved it. Even tho he was a piece of SHIT
SAIX/ISA JOINED THE GANG. I LOVED THAT SO MUCH. You can’t convince me that scene between Isa’s nobody dying/axel wasn’t gay af, because it was and I’ve never shipped it before, but I do now. The wholesome scene of him hanging out with the gang at the destiny islands though? My H E A R T
Tangled world. Because tangled.
The animation was so gorgeous, it had me shook the whole game
The overall happy ending
Sora dissapearing (sorry not sorry, never have liked him)
Terra’s twist with the heartless. Also Terra having emotion (still not a fan of him tho)

KAIRI. Literally why the fuck was she even in this game. Been a long time since I’ve hated a female character in a game as much as her. Some forced love interest nonsense. Also, her haircut is stupid.

The only part that legitimately pissed me off was showing Sora in that secret ending. I was fine with Xigbar’s stuff and leading to another KH. I was not fine with implying that Sora is still alive. I loved the idea of him dying to save someone he cared about (even though she’s fucking awful). He better not be the fucking protagonist again.

I was just wondering, how did violet aquaria and shangela end up as roommates in the airline fanfic? Is there a story behind it, or did they just end up living together because someone needed to share rent, and get close? I love the story!
Hi lovely amazing anon!! Firstly, you’re my favourite person ever for asking this, like I honestly screamed when I saw this!! The Vi - Shangie - Aqua dynamic is one of my favourite things in this whole AU, and it’s probably hands down the best platonic relationship I’ve ever come up with and written, so I have been dying for an opportunity to talk about them. Secondly, sorry it took me this long, but i have good reasons, I promise !! I didn’t wanna half-ass this reply, and also there’s so much I’ve been thinking of that probably won’t be included in the fic itself, so I had to kind of collect my thoughts. Under the cut xx.
Okay so I am imagining Violet moved to New York after her 21st birthday — the first chapter is set in September 2017, so she’s 25 now — and she found this flat online. Back then it was Shangie and another girl sharing the apartment, and their third roommate was moving out, so they were looking for someone to take the vacant room, and that’s basically how Violet ended up there.
Aqua in this one didn’t drop out of college, and is doing her master’s degree right now. She spent her freshman year in the dorms, and she hated every minute of that with a burning passion, so she swore she’s not going back to that hellhole. Conveniently for the story, that’s when Shangie and Violet’s roommate was moving out, so basically Aqua replaced her, and has been living with the girls for like three years now? (I really don’t know anything about how college works in the States.)
Now Shangie and Violet have a very unique friendship. It was very very vaguely hinted at, but virtually in my head Shangela is now making enough money to afford her own place, but she basically wont move out because
1) they’re sorta kinda codependent with Violet but not in an unhealthy way,
2) neither Violet nor Aqua could afford keeping the apartment without Shangie, and none of them wants a new roommate, and
3) they’re already like a family and they love their living arrangement dearly.
Also Shangela doesn’t want to move out because she’s convinced that id she did, Violet and Aqua would end up strangling each other or something. Shangela just really wants to keep the children alive. Aqua and Vi do love each other, tho, their bickering is purely affectionate I promise.

Holy jesus i knew they did hd ps4 ports of the playstation games but they ALSO added all the final mix content that engkishspeaking fans never got during my childhood? And they ALSO remade chain of memories entireky in 3d with Very Animated Ice Dad?? And they ALSO remade BBS despite it not needing it nearly as much as the old games and thet ALSO remade friggin dream drop distance which came out on a goddamn current gen console?? Like they seriously just made a non portable version?? Now all the spinoffs are on the same console at last?? Why did you not just do this in the first place?? I mean the psp and 3ds games were basically ps2 equivelant graphics and disc space anyway...

And also Coded and Days, which is a really big shame cos Coded is indeed sparse enough on content to deserve it but Days was my FAVOURITE GAME and it sucks its the only one that didnt get remade! I mean its in the same spinoff category as bbs and com, its not a cheapo mess like coded. Nothing else in the series deserves to be shoved in the Coded bin, even khux at least has better plot even if the backtracking and lootbox shit makes it harder to get to it...
Anyway ALSO a random new sidestory with Aqua going thru like one dungeon or somethin?? I dunno?? Its like a glorified tech demo for kh3, its just 'hey fuckin look what we can do visually on a proper ps4 game' and wow how have i never fuckin heard of this it looks so pretty!! I mean i dont know if its even more than 5 hours or somethin but.. Pretty!! And apparantly you get unlockable costumes for her or somethin? I hope they keep that feature in kh3! I really just DONT KNOW! ive been out of the fandom for so long and my last experience was really hatting BBS and feeling horribly out of place as everyone else raved about it being the best thing ever. And i know NOTHING about what kh3 is gonna be or whether its even possible for me to get back into the fandom and like.. Care about it at all again. I just got fuckin fatigued with it and my teenage years were like me clinging on to the edge of a cliff by my fingernails begging everyone to believe me that Its Still Good, Honestly, Its Worth It while square enix is up there all LONG LIVE THE KING and they push me off. Into a stampede of PSPs. Somehow.
And then aaargh i know i literally only came back to the fandom because organization xiii fuckin eternally holds my heart in their lil grabby hands. It was indeed a good nostalgic moment remembering how i loved them! And getting a new appreciation for Vexen and being blown away by how much he should have been my favourite but i just never got to play COM as a kid and then when i played it as an adult all the way after bbs i ended up quitting before even getting to meet half the org cos this one stupid 'defeat 99 shadows jn 99 seconds' mission kicked my ass. I'M JUST NOT GOOD AT ACTION RPGS OKAY!
Aaaagh thats another Big Worry, yknow? Like asa kid i was Bad, as an adult i'm Barely Better , and as a both i never enjoyed beat em up thingies of any kind at all. And on top of that i was never big into disney, i never saw them as any sort of 'childhood magic' but just some naff cliche shit retelling public domain fairy tales in the safest way possible with a bunch of obnoxious celebrity cameos. Also lion king and snow white terrified me as a kid. Also i associated robin hood with my dead grandma. Also as a kid i couldnt appreciate good artistic ability or voiceacting, i was all about the story, yknow? And most of kh's adaptations are really rushed and barebones versions of an already shoddy story, without any of the visual splendor. ALSO i never saw any of the darker or more emotionally focused stuff like Hunchback and Beauty and the Beast until way after i quit playing kingdom hearts, oddly enough. Wtf beauty and thebeast is actually real good and looks so far beyond its time!! Wtf hunchback has my goddamn evil dad in it!! Why did i miss the only good didneys!! Why did snow white traumatize me and those didnt!!
ANYWAY the point im getting at is that im not inherantly predisposed to like.. Any of kingdom hearts's appeal at all. I didnt know half the disneys and i didnt have any hype for the others. None of my fave final fantasy games made it into it until the sequel and then never again after that. CMON I CANT JUST DEAL WITH ONE VIVI CAMEO Y'ALL! And i haaaate the genre and its an uphill struggle to play a game like that with my stupid inelegant sausage hands. So i just came for the story and then everything after the first game has been conspiring to ruin it for me, sheesh! I felt so much for that short concise self contained first episode and then i fall more and more out of love as they establish this status quo of everything being retconnable so dont bother get attatched to it. Blablabla the entire worldbuilding is different now and everyone was secretly someone else and please memorize a bunch of shit from fifty fuckin spinoffs and also time travel and cloning suddenly exist and ALSO Grandpa Onlyblackmanintheworld is generic motiveless evil and everything was him even of it looked like it was actually a sympathetic villain. *insert dio meme face*
So yeah now im just.. In it for the characters?? And the cute art style and monsters and lovely animations and big fanfic oc potentials stuff. But man even tho i had Big Feel for those things i was able to completely drop it all and forget about the series for years, that was just HOW BAD the kh3 drought was. Steven universe hiatus eat your heart out...
So ffff i dont even KNOW if i'll be able to get feels'd for these characters again or if they actually hold up to modern bunni standards of huggable. And i know all the ones i want to hug the most got like zero sympathy and all died horribly and were also retroactively revealed to be clone oldmanvirus somethingy and aaaaaagh. But also something something people say they all came back and got cured?? And this is why?? I am here?? Again?? And buying?? The thing??

YEAH it’s like a sixth sense where i just know who is gonna waste my time and who is gonna be important though. and being an aquarius is soon hard bc i just don’t know if i want to date them or be really good friends and then things start mixing. and i’m also really independent and can’t do relationships. i’m literally having trouble typing this now bc i don’t even know what i mean. love is such a complicated thing for me. i get really cringe and weird around any kind of love all or nicknames or even people holding hands. i hate when ppl touch my hands I just hate being touched in general but now I'm rambling.
