Writing Problem: The Ending Is Completely Anti-Climactic
Problem: The Ending Is Completely Anti-Climactic
Solution: Endings can be dramatic. Endings can be a little ambiguous. Endings can be bittersweet. Endings can be simple surprises. Endings can be unique and unresolved. Endings can reverse motives, reverse perspectives, or reverse fortunes. Endings can be complex webs that tie up every single loose end. Whatever the author's preference, endings shouldn't read as if the last 10 pages were cut off.
But knowing how to end a story is not an isolated challenge. To end a story properly and effectively, the author must know how the story begins, how its characters evolve, and how these dynamics transform over the course of narrative's varying points of tension and conflict. Recall, how does the story begin and why? How, specifically, do the characters evolve? And what compels them to do so? Where and how do the story's internal and external conflicts converge? Endings follow a few essential rules: endings require context, endings must be plausible, and endings must connect to the narrative's key elements.

The fact we now have Orange, one of AEW's most winningest guys, feuding with Trent, a former tag guy who frankly has lost most of his singles matches, has got me thinking of ways things could be evened out so hear me out.
A stipulation match. One that would reduce Orange's mobility somewhat and could also play up Trent's size advantage.
One that might even symbolically represent Trent feeling somewhat tied down to Orange whether he likes it or not, even.
...
Dog collar match. I'm suggesting they should do a dog collar match. Double or Nothing.

[Image description: screenshot from The Owl House of King saying: "No one wants to think they've wasted their life following the wrong person." End description.]
The thing about rewatching Hollow Mind, after the finale, is realizing this sentiment isn't just about Belos's followers, or about Luz initially looking up to Philip. In fact, it's just as much about Belos himself.
No one wants to admit you spent years chasing a brother who didn't want to go home. Who wasn't the witch hunter he once claimed to be. Who, in every reincarnation, still won't become the person you wanted him to be.
No one wants to admit that — for the centuries you saw yourself as following your God, doing what He required of you to save humanity's souls, and wipe out the Devil's witchcraft — that you were the only one doing evil. That your devout faith and countless sacrifices were misplaced, and that your former home has moved on from witch hunts anyway.
No one would want to admit any of that, and in combination with Belos's personal obsession with being a hero, it becomes clear he was never going to admit it. Not even on his deathbed. Because that would be nearly four hundred wasted years on his conscience, four hundred years of following the wrong people, and how could he possibly let himself believe that?

A long overdue Mulan sketch. Been busy with assignments and I had art block 😭
I haven’t actually watched Mulan so i’m mostly just going with what I’m assuming
Name: Fa Mulan
Age: 16
School: Royal Sword Academy
Homeland: Country of the Red Dragon
Best Subject: P.E
Club: Fencing
Height: 176cm
Hobbies: Fencing, basketball, horse riding
A 2nd year at RSA and in the sleeping beauty dorm
He's from a small village in the country of the red dragon
His sword is a family sword passed down from generation to generation
His grandmother was the one who taught him all about sword fighting and he's been obsessed ever since
From dawn to dusk all he did was practice sword fighting to the point his parents got worried he'd scare away girls and never settle down
Isn't really a flirt but being honest and gentlemanly paired with his boy next door looks have girls swarming without him trying
He's the heartthrob of the village without trying which pisses his friend off to no end
His parents have tried to set him up with nice girls from his village but maybe it's spite preventing him from actually trying so the relationship fails
It's not that he doesn't want a girlfriend it's just he just wants one on his terms and he doesn't want anything to get in the way of his swordsmanship at the moment
His parents are worried he'll be single for the rest of his life even though he's 16
His grandma is all for his single bachelor life though
He was supposed to be a girl so his parents were in for a surprise when he came out
They had gotten everything ready from the dresses to his room so when he was a kid they'd put him in dresses and had a pink room until he was 6 and he got fed up at his friends teasing him and re-painted the room himself
His grandma still has photos

Yes. I did. It came to my attention that perhaps it could be misconstrued that Elena drugged MC. NO. My girl Elena did none of those things, twas I.

Also what does it say about me (and maybe like… Society™️ as a whole under late capitalism) that the financial ruin inflicted by zorrotrade was scarier than whatever came thru the phone at the end to kill him.

hi guys how do you feel about my incredible story where zim teleports dib and gaz on the massive as a sure way to get rid of them but the tallest hate zim so much that they just end up giving dib and gaz a bunch of awesome irken weapons so that they torture zim forever. there are many wacky shenanigans and funny jokes in my head surrounding this scenario. it just wont leave my head. theres like a whole narrative you know. i will never write it all down tho. because that would be a fanfic. and i would rather kill myself than write an invader zim fanfic. because im not an embarrassing weirdo
z*adrs dni and preferably disappear into thin air
cool gear gaz as a bonus
