That Malleus Anon again, apparently also TWST EN on twt has now come to the consensus that Malleus hates Silver because he did what he did in Chapter 7, Part 2 and I'm... I'm honestly Pepe crying right now.

Like, Malleus doesn't hate Silver at all, he practically helped raise him [and Sebek] with Lilia. It's more of the fact that Mallleus never got to experience what it was like to have a father.
His parents are long dead and his Grandma, for all intents and purposes, is stuck in Briar Valley tiding the people over so as to not put unnecessary pressure on one the last Draconia's.
Lilia had to pick up the slack of raising Malleus into a King who would usher in a new era for Briar Valley.
In some ways Malleus feels robbed that he can never have someone to call 'old man' or 'father'..
It's more akin to slight jealousy if we wanna be honest, but even then Malleus still cares enough ab Silver to hear him pour his heart out. He heard the pleas of Silver not being strong enough to keep Lilia and took matters into his own hands.
You can say he looked indifferent while Silver was tearing himself up ab not being able to repay Lilia a debt that never needed to be collected, but you cannot deny that there's a sense of love in putting the entirety of NRC [and possibly the island] under a 'blessing'.
Malleus wanted to quell the hurt he and Silver shared in not being able to do anything in the face of death. He picked up where Silver left off when he cried out that he wasn't strong enough, because Malleus is strong enough.
He did as a king would, he heard his people's struggle and did something about it.
And I would argue that he and Kalim share parallels because of that, because they want to wrap everyone in a 'blessing'.

BUT YES!! I fully believe that the Knight of Dawn’s appearance and Silver’s was fully intentional. This will irrevocably confirm their ties as father and son. No one can escape it, not even Silver.
Additionally, in the Sleeping Beauty animation. Aurora was basically a copy of her mom. So that could also be a homage to that as well. 🥹🌷
On that topic, it makes me so sad to see all those parents and their children posts on twitter and on here, but rarely do we see the Knight of Dawn and Silver together. But thankfully, I did see some on JP side of twitter having them together 🙏
Because as much as Lilia is the father to Malleus and Silver, so is Meleanor to Malleus and Knight of Dawn to Silver. But I’ll end that rambling here 😖
Back to your point about Silver being the antithesis of Knight of Dawn, and this is where the tissues are truly needed, it shows how much love and environment can influence someone doesn’t it?
Both Dawn and Silver were adopted by someone they care for, but their situation differs.
Dawn was adopted and cared for by his father figure (whom we haven’t met but we know is sick) and this is used as a weapon against him by Henrik. Shouldn’t you be grateful? Shouldn’t you help get the Princess Glow? Don’t you care for your father figure and Princess Leia?
His feelings was constantly used against him. He wasn’t treated as a person but a weapon by those around him. He had no choice in the matter and it was because of this that the Knight of Dawn had to take actions he was clearly against.
Now Silver was raised by Lilia, Malleus, and the Zigvolts. He was raised in an environment where he was truly loved. Silver chose to be a knight who will protect Malleus and Lilia. He wasn’t forced or guilt tripped into it by anyone. He always wanted to do this and he trained for it. 🥹💞
And because of this and because of how well he knows Malleus and Lilia, he was able to stand up against OB Malleus.
He knows Lilia wouldn’t want to be forced to stay, especially if others will be hurt. He knows Malleus is doing this to make everyone happy but it will cost him his life, which no one wants. Not Silver who Malleus did this for, not Lilia who Malleus and Silver doesn’t want to loose, and not Sebek who cares about them and see all the love they have for each other. 💚💚
So Silver is able to make this stand because he had this loving nature and freedom, he’s able to fight back because of it, and he’s willing to stand up for it.
But for the Knight of Dawn? He wasn’t in this nourishing nature. He has his feelings used against him and Henrik was always on him, not only that but he had his comrades who he had to protect. He literally had his hands tied 😔
That’s why the blessing used on Silver is such a big deal, why it’s a show of great love from his parents to Silver.
So Silver would never have to go through what the Knight of Dawn has, so he can live life happily in a world of peace and harmony where all races get along.
Silver doesn’t have to have the heartbreak of what Dawn went through. He can be raised in an loving environment that every child deserves.
We have only known the Knight of Dawn for two chapters so far and the parallels/differences he has with Lilia, Silver, and Malleus is chef kiss and makes me feral. 🫶💚
As you can see, I can talk about these characters forever 💞💞💚💚 Thank you again Miè 🌺🌷

Random thought, but aren't the Briar Valley fae gang's names centered around heresy? Like demons and false gods and such.
Malleus/Meleanor/Maleficia: Mali, Latin word for evil in general. Also draconian meaning cruel.
Levan: Leviathan
Lilia: Lilith
Baul: Baal
Sebek: Sobek
Thought about this because Malleus definitely fills the role of a false messiah in the story. I wonder if we'll encounter new characters with this name theme?

I'm glad you liked my Ruggie Bucchi design, it was very simple but I don't have very elaborate headcanons, the same goes for Idia, I would just change the values a little, I think he's very vibrant/clear? I don't know how to express myself correctly about this in English.
⚠️ My headcanons Idia Shroud:
I don't know what it's like for everyone, but I wanted his pale skin to be a little darker to make the shine in his hair more evident. It's been 3 years since I drew Idia and I looked at my old drawings to understand what I liked to do when I was his stan… Yes, that was real 🤡
💀 Slightly ''pointy'' ears: I like this little distortion, I didn't make it obvious in the drawing, but it's not like Malleus and Lilia's ears for example, it would be extremely subtle. I know Hades is a God but let me imagine Idia's ears are slightly ''pointed''.
💀 Marked pigmented dark circles: Let's take into account that Idia hasn't been well since he was a child and I imagine how he must have problems with insomnia and hyperfocus without rest. Then I see him with obvious circles under his eyes from tiredness.
💀 Bitten nails: He has anxiety, I put my hand on his head during a bad game to confirm this, so one of his habits is biting his nails.
💀 Mouth/teeth: For me, his lips are also injured due to the habit of biting them during a crisis, stress, or discomfort. It's not a detail that is also in the drawing but I imagine like this.
💀 Hair: In the official art it would be straight with the movement of the flames? but since 2021 I noticed that I like to think his hair is flaming wavy. He doesn't take care of it properly, so loose, tied up, and tied however he likes it is fine.
💀 About the earring: This is personal for me but I don't think Idia cares about accessories to the point of piercing and wearing it but I like to think that Ortho gives him some clip-on accessories, earrings, piercings, and necklaces, he will use them if Ortho insist a lot.
💀 Body: Bad posture, I don’t need to explain why, right? It's not because he's intelligent, skilled, and rich that he'll remember to be straight enough 24 hours a day to not ruin his own spine. I bet your posture is also wrong, straighten up!
Forgive me for the grammar mistakes, I hope I managed to express myself correctly. My headcanons for Idia are simple and more behavioral, I personally really like his design and would change small things if I drew him very often. But who knows, maybe in the future I will change more? I guess that's the fun of headcanons 💗💗💗

Just to recap Lilia’s absolute love for his children:
Dragon eggs can’t hatch without “true love” aka “parental love.” Lilia believed he wasn’t capable of having those emotions, therefore he could not hatch Malleus’s egg if both of his parents died. And yet, and yet, Malleus hatched under the love and care of Lilia.
Lilia learned to love with Malleus (or a better way to say this, learned that he could love with Malleus)
Lilia sings Mallenore’s (Malleus’s mother) lullaby to Malleus often as a child
Silver was put under a spell by the fairies to sleep until the war was over. He could only be woken up by someone who truly loved him. Lilia finds him sleeping as a baby, still under the spell. Guess who wakes up?
Lilia upon meeting baby Silver, talks gently to Silver and says he looks a lot like Malleus when he was a baby. Lilia sings Mallenore’s lullaby to Silver too
He blesses Silver to be blessed by the night. He names him Silver because Silver radiates light, and “like the moon that lights the dark sky, Silver will light the dark path.”
Lilia does everything to learn how to raise a human, including buying baby formula/milk powder. He sings him to sleep.
Child Silver gives Lilia an acorn bracelet so that he can live a long time. Lilia responds, “…I feel I can live another thousand years with this bracelet.”
