And while the whole “make the Replacement beg” part of the plan is going amazing…. Jason really didn’t plan the whole “keeping a conspiracy theorist teenager hostage” through to the end.

Bernard just wants to know what the new crime lord’s deal with Robin is. And why— and how— exactly he’s supposed to be a bargaining chip when he can count the times he met Robin on one hand. oh! and could someone maybe tell his boyfriend, Tim, that he’ll be late for their coffee date on Tuesday?

Someone reblogged my art of Cosmas, the Damian clone @mokulule HC together. And now I'm like *slaps self* NO stay focused! Do not start writing about the poor dying clone who Danny saves and takes in as his child and helps them learn to live as their own person.

And while learning to be a parent and working his job at WE and meets Bruce freaking Wayne and it's actually really nice to have another parent to talk to about things? (But wow, Danny, stop crushing on your boss, he's only the most eligible man in Gotham. If the guy isn't married by now he clearly just doesn't want to be.)

(And sitting across the table at their weekly lunch at the cozy cafe Bruce is all wow, Bruce, stop crushing on your employee, that's wrong and your life doesn't need a complication like that.)

Fandom Gripe #23: I know that fandom is in some deep denial about its treatment of female characters that are canonically involved with fan favorite m/m ships, but do y’all realize that when you disappear female characters from the narrative wholesale to push the idea that your canonically straight fav was “secretly gay all along!” you’re making several bad implications? That 1) bi men don’t exist, 2) bi men do exist, but those who have genuinely loved a woman before cannot genuinely love a man after that (therefore bi men don’t exist in practice), 3) women cannot inspire genuine love and devotion in men, therefore any relationship with a woman is “lesser” than the one they later have a man (see previous parenthesis), or 4) to acknowledge the existence of a lovable woman who isn’t a terrible person, where if a relationship previously existed, it did not end because of “incompatibility,” is enough to destabilize the present relationship between two queer men?

Because why is the tgcf fandom allergic to acknowledging that He Xuan had a whole ass fiancée that he loved? Why does no one ever seem to remember that the kidnappings and murders of He Xuan’s sister and fiancée were the final straws that sent him on his rampage, and he still keeps a shrine to them in the present-day of the story? Why is her entire existence and significance to He Xuan as a man, character, and to his character arc disappeared in favor of pushing Shi Qingxuan—the brother of the man responsible for his fiancée’s death—into that same role, as if to say that her impact on He Xuan is significant... just not when it's from her? Why does He Xuan’s life in fandom essentially begin not just after her death but because of it?

Seeing Aziraphale hate, saying he was selfish, is disappointing. Because maybe Aziraphale wouldn't stay on Earth for Crowley, but Crowley wouldn't come to Heaven for Aziraphale, either. They were both rejected, after offering what they each thought the other wanted. This isn't about who made the right choice and who made the wrong one. The key here, what really matters, is that they both made the right choices for themselves. They're doing what they feel is right, even if that means not being together. And honestly, I don't think Aziraphale staying on Earth was ever an option. Maybe there was something in the coffee, maybe there was Miracle, maybe definitely the Metatron is a manipulative son-of-a-bitch. But Aziraphale's entire life, his entire purpose so far as he knew it, was to guide human souls to the light so they can come to Heaven and be spared an eternity of damnation. Can you imagine an Aziraphale who is offered the opportunity where he might improve things in Heaven and for the humans he loves so dearly, but who doesn't take it? I can't. And once the storm clouds pass I think Crowley will feel that too. Aziraphale sees the red flags, of course he does. But he remembers the beautiful times, and like the toxic relationship that this is, he can't help but hold onto the hope that this time it will be different. Anyway, I don't believe his choice was out of character. Not at all.
