Did I tell yall I love ya??????? Nicest ppl ever, I just wanna hug ya n squeeeeze yaa. Okay funny story, my cat King Cinnamon is an insane orange cat, and I was watching Avatar again (It's literally on replay every time I write these fics) and he would only attack the screen when Jake was on the tv. I made him stop ofc, but it was hilarious, HE WOULD HUG THE TV AND TRY TO BITE JAKES FACE LMFAOOA. I don't think he likes Jake much (He is an avid tv watcher btw.)

I deleted this chapter like six times cuz I hated it, I still do but I'm tired of redoing it so I hope you all like it. Ik I said slow burn and it seems like I'm rushing but dw this story still has a long way to go.

It had become a routine of yours and Aonung's to sit on 'his' rock at night, normally just a silent moment between you both. Almost every night you would swim to the rock, and he'd be right next to you ten minutes later. Sometimes he would speak, other times you would, but normally it was just enjoying each other's company.

It has been four months, but you still weren't on the best of terms in your opinion. He'd still let out an insult here and there and you'd jab right back. You took notice of the drastic difference in his behavior towards you, especially lined up next to your siblings.

You didn't understand what was so special about you, you were practically a carbon copy of your brothers, especially Lo'ak who Aonung seemed to dislike the most. Well, technically both of you acted like your father when he was younger, according to your mother.

Rash, irresponsible, and shoot first, ask questions later. Of course, you'd just roll your eyes at that, you couldn't imagine your father getting into stupid fights and arguments. Which was in fact what you were doing in this exact moment with Lo'ak.

" You broke my necklace, you bitch." You yelled, the last part in English, and Lo'ak glowered at you, Tsireya cocked her head at you in confusion.

You stuck out your broken necklace, the beads missing and some handpicked rocks you got from home. His ears went back." Wasn't me!" He snarled, ears going back and smirk from his face falling." You were the only one in the Marui before it was broken." You pointed at his chest; he smacked your hand away.

" It wasn't me, stop always blaming me!" He yelled and you rolled your eyes." Oh yeah then-"

" Knock it off!" Kiri yelled at you two, glaring as well as she could as Tuk braided her hair. You both glared at each other." Mother fucker." You hissed in his ear quietly, and he side eyed you.

" Dickhead."

" Twat face."

You both covered your mouths and giggled to yourself at the childish insults, completely forgetting the argument you were just in." You guys should teach me English! I wanna know what you're saying!" Tsireya stated and you both looked at each other.

" Lo'ak can teach you." You smiled at her patting his back. Aonung, Rotxo, and Neteyam swam over. They were teaching Neteyam how to hunt under the water so that they could take him on hunts.

" What's up." Rotxo waved his hand in greeting, and You all waved back. " I'm trying to convince them to teach me English." Tsireya announced and Neteyam looked at you and you shrugged in response.

" I already caught on to one." Tsireya spoke proudly and you raised a brow." Oh yeah?"

" Yeah, 'bitch'." She repeated your words and you and Lo'ak cringed as Neteyam whipped his head at you two." That's...not really a good thing to say." Lo'ak explained and you snickered quietly to yourself.

"Oh, apologies." She went a bit lower in the water in embarrassment." What does it mean?" Rotxo asked and Aonung eyed you as you giggled with Lo'ak, he had been watching you a lot more, but you pretended not to notice. Neteyam rolled his eyes." It's an insult usually towards girls."

Neteyam glared at you, and you shrugged, you really didn't know she was going to catch on and take interest in your small talks in English with Lo'ak. It normally wasn't even a full conversation; it was more throwing insults and giggling about it afterwards. it was a little game you guys did, having childish humor like the two of you have it was just between you guys.

" Why are you insulting Lo'ak with a female insult?" Tsireya questioned and everyone turned to you." Because he's a big baby girl." You teased taking a braid in his hair and twirling it to piss him off.

He smacked your hand away as you snickered at his annoyance." Anyways, what do you wanna do today?" He asked and everyone looked at each other. " I'm gonna go fix the necklace you broke." You exclaimed huffing at Lo'ak who rolled his eyes." That's what you get for calling me a female insult." You saw a smirk on his face, and you rolled your eyes back at him.

" Seeya." You waved at them, and everyone said goodbye, except for Aonung he just gave a small wave. When you got out of the waters Kiri called you over.

"Yeah?" Kiri nudged her head towards the water where everyone else was." You have an admirer." She teased as Tuk moved her head back into place." Stop moovingg." Tuk whined, you turned your head a bit to catch Aonung flick his eyes back to your big brother. You shook your head." Nah."

" Yes so. He's been staring at you the entire time." You rolled your eyes and waved a hand at her." Okay, whatever you say." She shook her head and went back to her conversation with Tuk as you walked towards your Marui.

When you got back to your families pod your mother was there with Ronal. They stopped and turned to look at you as you awkwardly stood at the entrance." Oh, sorry." You gave a half smile and Ronal's face flickered to the necklace in your hand.

" My, you're quite the crafty one." She put her hands out, gesturing for you to place the necklace in her hands. You did so hesitantly." It was almost finished but it got broken." You explained rubbing the back of your neck.

She ran her hands along the rocks and beads, after an awkward silence she looked up at you." Would you like to help me craft sometime?" She asked, going back to looking at the necklace." Me? Sure!" You grinned at her, and she nodded.

" It's gorgeous dear." She complimented and your ears darkened. You bowed your head a bit in thanks." Thank you." You breathed and smiled, Neytiri handed you a basket as you began to turn and leave.

" Please grab some more fruits for dinner on your way back." She ran her hand over your hair affectionately and you leaned into her touch before she pulled away patting your shoulder.

You gave her a smile before you left to the woods behind the branches of woods that made up the Metkayina village. As you walked slowly through the batch of woods you heard the sound of footsteps behind you.

You turned around, Aonung staring at you with his unbothered stare that he has been giving you all week. You both just stared at each other awkwardly until you cleared your throat to speak." Are you following me?" You smirked and he looked away for a moment before meetings your eyes." No." He responded, surprisingly no smug or rude comment.

You squinted your eyes at him." You've been acting weird." You waited for a response, but he just started walking past you." I'll show you where the best place is to pick fruits if you zip your lip." He smirked at your face; annoyance plastered on it.

You raised an eyebrow at him." Fine then looks like you won't be sharing this amazing fruit picking location because my lips aren't gonna seal for you." You walked past him and continued straight. You didn't hear anything as you continued to walk forward, so you thought he was gone.

" Man, that boy." You mumbled, flicking a branch in front of you." What about me?" His voice rang out and you let out a quick scream. " Jesus Christ, man!!" You held your hand to your racing heart, he let a loud laugh." Who is Jesus Christ?" He asked and you scoffed." Some famous guy from Earth."

" That's a weird thing to yell out after being scared, do I look like Jesus or something?" He asked, his face looked serious, but his eyes were glistening with mirth. It was your turn to laugh." Not even close!" You bent over the basket you were holding your ears and cheeks a dark purple.

When you got done laughing you looked up at him, he was watching your face the whole time. A peaceful silence broke out as you stared at each other as you gained your composure." I still don't like you; you know." He spoke matter of fact, and you rolled your eyes.

" We were having a moment." You turned forward and began your walk again, which this time you noticed his presence." Why did you follow me out here?" Your question booming through the quiet forest. He didn't respond until you turned around to give him a quizzical look.

" I just wanted a walk, is it a crime that I accidentally ran into you." He shrugged and you squinted your eyes at him." In the same spot as me?" You quirked a brow at him, he folded his arms across his chest." It's a pathway bound to be walked on." He argued and he pointed forward.

" Plus, your headed to a beautiful spot where I like to sit." He took a step towards you with a smirk." Wanna join me?" He quizzed but you didn't by it. How come every time your alone and he shows up he claims you're on his spot or area.

After a few beats if silence, his smirk slowly turning to an annoyed pout." Fine don't, you're missing out though, on a great view." He was really trying to convince you to come without actually saying it.

" Oh please, I am the greatest view." You joked and his eyes roamed you up and down before he shrugged and spun on his feet." Hey what was that for?" You hissed at him, and you tugged his arm as you followed him through the trees.

" Aonung?" You looked up at the boy who was giving you a mischievous look. " Look." He poked your cheek directing your face forward as he moved a large leaf out of the front of you. " Woah." You breathed; a waterfall was in front of you with a lake surrounding it.

" See told you." He walked towards a rock and sits on it; you follow close behind looking at all of the plants surrounding the water." Do you have these in the forest?" He asked and you shrugged." Waterfalls and lakes yeah but some of the plants are different."

You admired a flower that was near Aonung's leg, and he looked down." How'd you find this place?" You asked, he placed his feet in the water." Well, it wasn't hard to find I just used my eyes." You scoffed, you moved onto a different rock, placing your mother's basket next to you.

You dipped one foot into the water, moving your feet in the warm water. You could feel his eyes on your and you turned your head his way." You've been staring at me." You spoke, and he turned his head fully towards you.

" I haven't." He scoffed in denial, and you rolled your eyes, smirking at him. " Well thanks for showing me your lovely place, I still don't like and I need to go get fruit for my mother." You stood up and he got up as well." I'll show you the fruit spot."

You unconsciously smiled at him which made him give you a quizzical look." What?" He asked and you wiped the smile from your face." What, I wasn't' smiling."

He rolled his eyes and gestured for you to follow, you picked up your pace and fell beside him as he walked you towards this fruit pocket of a sort. It was a peaceful silence that followed your walk towards the fruit but the whole time you were wondering as to why he was being so nice to you today.

" That necklace you had in your hand in the waters with Lo'ak," He broke the silence, but pausing to make sure you were listening." Who is it for?" You shrugged at his unusual question." It was more for a reminder of home, but since it lost some of it's pieces I don't think I'll finish it." You stated, smiling at the thought of Ronal's compliment of it." Why do you ask?"

" No reason." When you reached the area Aonung helped you pick some but reminded you he was doing himself a favor and not there to help you. When you got done picking you headed back with him, it was almost late afternoon, so you had to hurry it up.

" I still don't like you, forest girl." He reminded you once you reached the point where you went your separate ways." Yeah yeah, don't think I like you either fish boy." He shook his head and walked away. Today was definitely an odd day, but peaceful nonetheless, you felt like you were finally starting to fit in.

I think what mostly makes me happy it's just being with friends (like u jsjsjs <3) and hanging out with them, even quiet vc's are enough for me, the fact of being with a friend just makes me feel better. qwq

2. Looking at the sky, taking note of every small detail such as the shape of the clouds, the colors of the sky at that moment, or the stars that appear at night is something that really soothes me and can make me happy (yet it makes me a bit sad when thinking that not many people can appreciate it as well). Also I wished I was an astronomy nerd just to know a bunch of stuff about stars and space, but I end up just simply enjoying the view.

3. My fictional blorbos ofc! and other characters thatI love besides them as well. I love seeing fan-work or official stuff where they're just happy, enjoying stuff and having fun! (not a that much of a fan of angsty stuff, but I get it sometimes. We all need our dosis of angst at times)

4. Simple physical touches (with ppl that I'm comfortable with ofc lol) like a pat on the back or a hug. Even though I don't know how to respond 'cuz I'm not used to it and that might make it look like I don't like it, it actually brightens my mood and means a lot to me (tough I'm a sucker for head/hair pats)

5. Listening to music! Music can change my mood so easily in general (not only to a good one tho, we all got those songs u have to help you cry your shit out and that's cool). I always get amazed every time I stop to think about how music can be so important and the different ways it influences our lives even in the smallest details we don't even notice in our every day.

"Come Home" — Deku:

I don't even know if this would be considered a fic?? Cuz honestly this was such a short little thing that I wrote in under like 15 minutes 😭 probably the shortest amount of time it's taken me to ever write literally anything. But it was after I watched S6 E136 and literally that night I had a dream where this whole scene was played out in my head. And it just felt so dramatic in the right ways and just raw emotion that I had to write it down. And it's STILL my most liked post on this entire blog😭 but honestly understandable bc sometimes I go back and read it and I'm just like "damn wait I wrote that????" lmfaoo

"Only for you, Toshi" — Shinsou:

Completely opposite from the last one, this is actually the longest thing I've ever written. (that's posted anyway, there's a few longer still in my drafts) I just feel like Shinsou doesn't get enough love but he definitely deserves it😭❤️ all my friends that read it said they really enjoyed it and I'm just really happy with how it came out after working on it for a couple weeks, and that not touching it for a few months and then coming back to it only to finish it in like 2 days lmao

"Attention" — Dabi:

Now this wouldn't be a post about my fics if I didn't include something for my absolute favorite character in the entire show🖤 this fic was very self indulgent bc I'm such a brat🤭 and I'm convinced that Dabi is the king of brat taming. Fun fact, the outfit I described is something I literally own in my closet 😂

"Secrets" — BakuDeku x reader [UNFINISHED]:

This is a multi-part series I'm co-writing with my bsf @haru-x-ren on a joint account we made. (@bunny-x-haru if you'd like to follow) it's currently still a work in progress with only a few parts released, but it is a continuation of a 2 part fic I wrote when I first started called "You're the Only Thing That Makes Sense" — Bakugo So I do recommend reading this one first before Secrets for context and background info. I feel like you can really see my growth in writing from then to now, cuz that was like literally the second thing I ever posted lol. And Haru was literally my biggest fan bc he's the one that got me into writing fanfic<3 so after he read it, he had this absolutely BRILLIANT idea (spoiler) to take the scene I wrote where bakugo and deku were caught fighting after school hours (similar to that scene from season....2? When Bakugo learned about OFA) and turn it into a BakuDeku love triangle and I was honestly obsessed with the idea

Another one for my fav<3 this one was for his birthday and is very nasty🤭 also with a little bit of fluff at the end bc I am indeed a hopeless romantic with no romance🥲 also, the cover photo is most definitely the reaction I was imagining when he walks into the room lmao

I know it's been a while since I've posted any writing and I am so sorry 😭 I guess I've just been in a little bit of a funk when it comes to my creativity lately. I mean I've got plenty, and I do mean PLENTY of ideas written down, but Im having a hard time executing them and turning them into something I can post. Ace ship ramblings

So, I have like. An art post planned soon. But until then uhh.

My (and kinda @greyzanticz a little) personal opinion on Ace's romantic compatibility with every other drdt character (I'm bored and sad so we gotta over compensate with complete insanity). I won't have much to say abt most of these, and I'm pretty sure no one ships a good majority of them, I just used every character for shits and gigs

Also idk if Ace ship discord is a thing but if it is please don't flame me if I don't like ur otp. Send me ur ship art instead. Try and change my mind. Dm me a paragraph explaining how Ace and character are soulmates. Also spoilers.

I'm also gonna give them number ratings bc. I can.

Let's start with the classic:

Ace + Levi

• I genuinely think this would be my otp or something if they hadn't fallen out in the 1st trial. After that the idea of these two in a romantic setting just. Doesn't work for me. There's to much genuine distrust and fighting. Them as besties is awesome though! They will be best friends again let me be delusional. So basically, ship it chapter 1, chapter 2 I'd rather eat glass (but no beef to Acevi shippers I completely understand). In a fix it au, it's prob a fav. 7/10.

Ace + David

• I didn't really. Clock this as thing. I think it makes more sense with pre-breakdown David? Like mediator x instigator? I don't really get it but I can understand the basic vibe and it's not... Horrible. 4/10

Ace + Nico

• Yeah if Levi and Ace fighting killed their ship potential for me, this was made to be my no-tp. Maybe in a fix it au, I could stand it. In cannon, nah 2/10.

Ace + Veronika

• Now, I love Veronika. And I love Ace. But oh God I can feel the dysfunction radiating. The basic dynamic is okay though, just don't feel like Veronika could and would do better (find a more interesting case study to date). Obviously as the Halloween trio Ace and Veronika are so besties but romantically, no 💕 4/10

Ace + Arturo

•Jesus this would be toxic as hell. I don't really see it, honestly, but I get where. It came from. That's the thing with rare pairs, sometimes they personally hit, sometimes they don't. I could probably like this one if I read a really good fic or something. 5/10

(Bonus) The Halloween Trio (Veronika, Arturo, and Ace) as a polecule.

•i think I like this one more because it's banking on Verturo which is prob the biggest drdt ship I have, but idk. Them as a bestie unit is by far my preferred Halloween (or Horror, as I've been calling it 💀) Trio, but them as a polecule is. Okay too. 6.5/10

Ace + Xander

•I don't hate this one as much as chapter 2 Acevi, or Nico x Ace, even though Xander and Ace had heavy beef. I think it's bc it wasn't as. Serious as his later beefs. I think I could be convinced to enjoy and enemy to lovers fic with these two, but it's not something I'd actively look for. Also Xander died before Ace went into his "actually being a total dick instead of funny comical relief" era and I think if he'd survived to see it, Ace wouldn't have survived to live it, yk? 6/10

(I think these are where the pairings are completely random LMAO)

Ace + Rose

• Okay. So. I don't hate it. But I definitely don't like it either. I feel like Rose would NOT have the energy for Ace in any capacity, and she doesn't like ppl being loud, so. But also the idea of Rose's chill vibes calming Ace down Is cute... 5/10

Ace + Charles

• I don't think this would work. There is like, no chemistry (hahaha) here at all imo? Just doesn't call out to me for any reason. 2/10

Ace + Hu

• I really don't like this. I can't comprehend it. Like when I imagine what this is ship would be like it weirds me out. 0/10. Sorry any Hu x Ace shippers.

Ace + J

• I feel like J has a very real and reasonable distaste for Ace in cannon and I can't think of an instance where they interact otherwise. Their dynamic in my head is just "Crazy bitch and bitch who doesn't like them bc they are crazy" and I can't really think past that. Their dynamic romantically doesnt catch my eye for any reason 💀 1/10

Ace + Eden

• I genuinely think Eden is a lesbian but if we move past that... I still can't see these guys as anything but friends. Like I want them to be besties bc their dynamic is perfect (Angry asshole & the nicest human ever created) but as a couple, I just don't see it. I'll give it a decent rating though, since I understand how their dynamics would be interesting romantically. 5/10. Eden is a lesbian though she told me

Ace + Teruko

• Ehhhh I feel like they could be really good friends. Like their hateful energies used together could be a force to be reckoned with. And they could probably relate to eachother to a decent extent. But I don't think they would ever date (def not bc I think Arei's a lesbian too... Definitely not...) 3/10

Ace + Whit

•... Okay hear me out. Hear me out. Their dynamics bounce off of eachother pretty well. Silly goofy guy x Menace. Whit has shown he can deal with people who are assholes. I mean ik Whit and Charles are the otp and I'll stand by that forever but like. I could so see Whit trying to give Ace a lil redemption arch. Maybe actually succeeding a little. I like this one a lot. Still, you've kinda gotta squint at it a little for it to work.... 7 or 8/10.

I didn't include Mai bc idk who she is. Could be Ace's cousin for all we know

Do you believe in the theory floating around about succession being affected by the writers strike? Basically, that they decided this is the last season to avoid dealing with the strike? (Tbh I think it's just a means for ppl who are not loving this season so far due to its pacing and lack of tomgreg (lol) to be able to point to something and blame its "bad fic writing" on it)

i don't think there's a definitive way to know this. on the one hand, jesse always said he had planned 4-5 seasons so the show ending at 4 seasons was always a strong possibility. on the other hand, most large prestige shows were preparing one way or another for mass guild strikes, either by delaying seasons until 2024 or wrapping them up on their own terms while they still could. It's possibly fortuitous that jesse and the writers were prepared to end the show now, or it's possible the looming strikes factored into how season 4 was decided to be the last.

personally, i am hesitant to judge s4 as a whole just yet. at the moment, i am enjoying it so much, it's literally all i think about the majority of the time! i adore the political spine of the show becoming more prominent in logan's absence (anyone who follows me knows the political eps are my beloveds). almost like logan was the buffer for it all, but now he's dead it's no longer shadow work and spilling into the light. i constantly have this feeling that i am watching a boat take on water in slow motion and i can't look away.

i do think ppl who don't watch the show for what it is, a political satire, are probably not enjoying season 4 because they don't like being confronted more head-on with the soul of the show. i can't express enough how much i don't care about these people. people accusing Succession and its writers of "laziness" or thoughtlessness or "losing the way" or "becoming about work" because they believe their own wubification of these characters clearly did not understand what this show was about in the first place. they can believe what they want about how it was written, but they're irrelevant.

i do agree that the pacing took a little to adjust to, but once you accept every episode is a day, one day after another, it's much easier. but for the record, succ has never dealt in leaps and bounds, it's always dealt in a realistically linear timeline with no flashbacks and limited time jumps. according to Vulture, time passed in the show is probably only about 18 months maximum over the last 4 seasons with the biggest jump being 4 months between s3-4.

but who knows whether the writing will bear out! all of this will depend on the finale and coming episodes! regardless of when or why it's been written the way it has, i have faith Jesse Armstrong and the team will deliver what they've delivered for 6 years: exceptional television!

uhm well i've been obsessed w/ this band & these characters ( especially 2D ) since i was a wee teenager,,,,,, his muse kinda came out of nowhere after a few years of being quiet & ran me over. he does not have a license.

is there anything you don’t like to write?

well obviously i wont write anything reprehensible or nasty but just like, surface level?? not that i can think of. it depends who / what muses im writing with, too.

is there anything you really enjoy writing?

any opportunity i can get to swim around 2D's head & make him retrospective is always a good time. i love exploring the complex thoughts characters have that we, as an audience, don't really get to see often -- or only catch glimpses of. i like getting messy & philosophical with it. but ofc angst tropes i adore, as well as found family. certain ships with 2D i also wouldnt mind exploring.

how do you come up with headcanons?

a lot of it is lived experience, i think. it'll be like "this character is just like me fr" & then i'll think of ways to make them even MORE like me. it's nice to see yourself represented, even in little ways. but sometimes i'll be inspired by fanfictions, music, tv shows . . . like i listened to an old panic! song & came up with a hc for 2D that way lmao. sometimes i'll just see humans doing human things & relate it to characters. my mind just doesn't shut up tbh

always music. i feel like i'll pass out if i don't have some kind of sound going on constantly

do you plan your replies or wing them?

9 times out of 10 i'm winging it. sometimes, especially with first time interactions with muses from different fandoms or oc's i do some planning -- just to kind of get a grasp on who the other person is playing & how 2D would interact with them, or how their worlds would intersect. but if i worry too long it just makes me anxious haha so i just try to have fun with it & hope everyone else does, too!

2023 Watch List pt2

Other list was getting annoyingly long for my liking so part two it is.

Not Me - I am not the biggest lover of Off's acting. A darling but, to me, not anywhere near as good as others at GMMTV. So I went into this with a lower expectation than some. I was incredibly pleasantly surprised. Essentially a story about a rough around the edges little anti-establishment found family, this drama had a lot to say and really managed to execute those messages without feeling preachy about it. Fantastic cast all round and I fell head first for DanYok. 4/5

Never Let Me Go (series and Our Skyy) - Umm. I feel like I felt like I knew what this was trying to do but that it got a bit lost at times. The script is kind of muddled. As ever JoJo pulls amazing performances out of a very young pup cast and its really those performances that make a confused script work. The cinematography is also stunning. Pond, for me, again suffers a little from a general stiffness, he gives some great emotion in this but, for me, has a lot of growing to do as an actor. It says something when I felt more strongly for Perth and Chimon who're barely in this. 3/5

The Warp Effect - Literally never seen anything as wholly sex positive and fun as this. The whole cast works amazingly and seeing kinks represented in a way where they weren't jokes was beautiful. Also, accurate female orgasm faces. Deserves a five for that alone. But seriously, don't skip this one. Queer, feminist and sex positive this deserves all the flowers. 5/5

The Jungle - This is stupid. I know it, you know it. Everyone who watched it knows it. But damn it was fun. Essentially a group of fuckboys, that routinely fight other fuckboys for treating girls badly, accidentally catch feelings for some cool women. Everything is nice too look at and the acting is great (especially Nanon, ohmygod) so honestly, strong rec. 3.5/5

Vice Versa (series and Our Skyy) - I get why people didn't warm too this, the ppl is honestly the worst I've ever seen and the concept is a little bizarre, but it just had something I really liked. JimmySea are an incredibly comfy feeling pairing, it's soothing to watch them together even when the script is a little daft and the ppl ridiculous. I'm rarely strongly moved by dramas but the scene where Puen is saying his goodbyes too Tun's parents just had me gone. Also just Jimmy in general does some beautiful, emotional work throughout. (Which makes the ppl issue even more annoying for me. They're too good to have to do stupid scenes about choco pie and lays potato chips.) 4/5

Cupids last wish - Ummm. This isn’t terrible but it’s also not that great. It just is. The script is so muddled that sometimes I thought I’d missed an episode, I hadn’t it’s just a confused script, and if the leads weren’t talented it wouldn’t really work at all. The period part is art but overall the representation of women in this is questionable at best and downright bad and cringe at worst. Watch for EarthMix and go watch Jan in Warp Effect where she’s allowed to be great and all the women are fully realised characters. 3.5/5

History 3: Trapped - This isn’t perfect, there’s some weird continuity stuff and things that didn’t feel fleshed out, but it’s A LOT of fun and the cast is fun. I really enjoyed the main pair and their back and forth was a lot of fun to watch. 3/5

Hidden Agenda - This wanted to be so many things that it just wasn’t. Joke was barely given a personality beyond ‘I love Zo’ and Zo was at times annoying but mostly just boring. Aou&Boom’s side characters were compelling and their relationship felt healthy and fully realised. I really can’t say the same for Joke & Zo. You’re scarcely shown any reason that they like one another and Joke just floats around looking mournful like he’s got trapped wind. Not one I’ll revisit. 2/5

My tooth your love - Ehhhh. First few episodes are nice. Dentist is a walking red flag who deserves to be told to fuck off and,as cute as the the wee baby gay side character is, I didn’t really appreciate the side romance between the 18 year old and the grown man that takes on a pseudo care giver role for him. (I know that’s a me dislike and he’s of age so it’s legal but, for me, it’s ick.) 2/5

Laws of Attraction - Every now and then a show comes along that shouldn't really work but 100% does and this is that show. Most everyone in this is a soap actor, you can tell, but that only adds to the beautiful camp absurdity of the thing. Charn is a deliciously villainous 'life is for profit' lawyer and Tinn is a soft, cosy, Labrador of a human. The untimely, heart breaking death of Tinn's niece brings the pair together to solve the mystery of how she died. There are lots of things you have to overlook with this but the central puzzles are good and intriguing and everyone's acting is good. (Watch this on dramacool if you're not in the states. The YouTube subs are absolute balls.) 4/5

My School President (series and Our Skyy) - I am older but I fall into the category of adult who was terrible at being a teen and, therefore, solidly enjoys good teen content and this is definitely that. Fourth & Gem do an excellent job as our leads and this show just serves you a consistent slice of fluffy delight. Their respective friend groups are also excellent and the Our Skyy concept gave me solidly genuine amusement. 4/5

Cutie Pie - Call me a hater but I'm just not a fan of Nu's 'brat' and Zee's 'brat tamer' dynamic. I think they're both probably better than this is but their fans LOVE that dynamic so I don't think they'll be escaping it anytime soon. This was just a bloated mess. 2/5

Love in the air - I am not a mame fan. I think she's a shit tier fanfic writer who needs some serious therapy. But when that women achieves casting excellence her shtick becomes pulpy and addictive. Everything about the plot is red flag central but you cant keep your eyes off. Personally I rated the FortPeat pairing higher than the BossNouel one but both had their charms. (I fast forward the gang rape scene because jesus fuck mame why.) 3/5

Wedding Plan - This was a thing that I watched. Boring, badly paced and didn't even get good spicy scenes because it was a partnership with GMMTV. Snooze fest. Unless you're a person who thinks Mame is actually a good writer, you won't get much from this. 1/5

5. Guilty pleasures

So, demons don't really do "guilt" in the same way humans do. Pleasure is something they're all about, and Amaimon especially doesn't really have the long term goals Mephisto and Lucifer do that teach him that special brand of patience they have for the game.

Amaimon likes being entertained, except most things bore him unless he's fighting or eating or exploring. And even those things can get boring for him.

And, on the one hand, he enjoys Mephisto's company. Mephisto provides entertainment, even if he doesn't understand why Mephisto is interested in the things he is.

On the other hand, Mephisto is constantly trying to convince Amaimon to join his side in the game, which Amaimon hates. Amaimon is incredibly independent and shuts down any attempts to coerce him into a side or get him into a corner.

Which is why his guilty pleasure is hanging out with Mephisto when he knows every time they interact is just putting himself at Mephisto's mercy and giving him another chance to ensnare him (which he does with the whole thing with shiemi and shemihaza).

Pretty much everyone (except Rin, who doesn't give af what Mephisto's plans are bc he's just determined to burn thru them anyway lmao) is aware that interacting with Mephisto is just asking for trouble. Amaimon has known him longer than the Order has even been a thing, so he's very aware that the favor Mephisto has over his head is something that can be called on any time. And it is when Mephisto forces him on campus to force Rin to use his sword, which is the long road that leads to Amaimon forced to fight on Mephisto's side.

Once bitten, twice shy, too. Amaimon has been subjugated by Shemihaza and anything that threatens to bind him further is something he hates the concept of.

But, he just can't stop himself from going to Mephisto anyway.

I'm guessing Mephisto is a lot of ppls guilty pleasure tbh 😂

okay i think if i keep it smaller ill be able to say words. the movie is a wash in my brain i should probably watch it. oh like 20 more times just to be safe. expect more to come. ofc. BUT ANYWAY

GOD the gestural animation???? like lets be clear. this movie. hmm. concepts, vis dev, story boards, shot direction, matt paintings, modeling, lighting, rigging, so so many things, ALL BANGERS, and are part of animated movies that arent just 'animation'. go talk to ppl who know more than me abt that. BUT. were focusing.

okay. gestures, body language, general 'acting choices' type, animation. (Distinct mainly lets say from like, the fight choreo, and god okay key/special frames?. ARGH. ITS OWN THING)

THE CHARACTERS MOVE SOOOO GOOD AND FUN. lotsa lotsa people (on the subset of the internet that has been hyping up this movie forrrrr 5? month?) have been enjoying mainly the turtles, cause thats what was in the teasers. many gestures of emotion. the ooze clip a particular good example, mikeys fun arm waves, leos little finger waggle, the way you can see them over pronouning the sybalbles with the lip shapes. LIKE LOL. well yes its been so so repeatable. im doing it rn.

posts showing some of their movements of excitement (hand shaking, head nodding, spinning in a chair) and calling it stimming are delightful btw. (overlap btwn die hard turtle fans, this site's users, and stimmers? hmm? pardon? dont worry abt it)

but just point. like it feels so lively and real. the adage that animaters are actors is definetely as true as ever. and additionally wonder how much they got from the young vas or other sources that would show similar, modern teens with that kinda close interaction.

but yeah i wont try and do absolutes but is certainly, UP THERE. for, the most tactile, character to character interaction heavy and just, joyful and characterful movement in an animated feature. like. its up there.

Galactic Gaming Dynamic Explanation

Here is a post that I promised explaining this crossover duo I have created.

Filled with info such as similarities/differences, why they would go along with making a great and fun dynamic ---------------------------------- Now before I get into this I want to clarify something bcuz clearly not everyone likes it when ppl like me have fun w/ these things Yes I understand that Eddie Long and Gary Goodspeed are NOT CANON brothers

But I like to HEADCANON that they are brothers / best friends as I do so for MULTIPLE reasons. While I do not owe anyone reasoning for hcing characters as brothers

I will give them anyways before letting my Autism take over me as hopefully it will make some ppl who may try to invalidate what I have to say shut up and let me enjoy this so here is why I hc them as bros.

1. It's fun

2. I genuinely think it would work and that its cool/cute

3. The ways their characters are written would actually make a really cool dynamic

4. Its non problematic

5. It brings me comfort/happiness

6. Bcuz I can

So now that explanation is out of the way lets get into this detailed thread fueled by my Autism

So before I get into my many hcs for what kind of brothers they would be and what things they may do together I want to bring up their similarities/differences.

Bcuz those play a very big role into the hcs I have come up with for them As for the number of their similarities there is LITERALLY at least 21 And that doesn't even go into personal hc territory I have for them individually

SIMILARITIES

------

1. Loyalty is a HUGE part of their characters. Especially when it comes to their loved ones

2. They both have a burning hatred for an AI Eddie hates Captain Whaler Gary hates KVN

3. Both have an AI they are best friends with and is apart of their crew/team Eddie is friends with Spunc Gary is friends with H.U.E.

4. They are both down HORRENDOUSLY bad for their love interests Eddie is down bad for Ruby Gary is down bad for Quinn

5. Both are leaders of their crew/team Eddie is the leader of Alpha Team Gary is the leader of Team Squad

6. They both rebelled against their governments/tried to take down the government Eddie rebelled against the CIA/Energy Division Gary rebelled against the Infinity Guard

7. They are both criminals

8. They have both murdered people

9. Both have CANON soft spots for kids Eddie is heavily implied to have a soft spot for kids despite kids not really ever being shown in the series Gary has a soft spot for kids especially kids who have had similar traumatic experiences to him and has adopted 5 due to that

10. Both to some extent/one way or another are shown to have a fatherly side

11. Both went "Greasy" at some point

12. Both were homeless at some part of their life

13. Both are often referred to as dilfs by their fanbases

14. They are both dumbasses (in their own ways)

15. They both enjoy playing video games

16. Both are voice acted by a their show creator + based off their actor to some degrees

17. Both can be oblivious to moves made by their love interests

18. Both have suffered through severe depression

19. Similar round head shape

20. Similar stubby nose

21. Both are joked to be himbos by their fanbases

Now that we have discussed their similarities, I want to explain what affect this would have on their dynamic

Their similarities would allow them to get along fairly well as they have very similar priorities and a lot in common that they could bond over/relate to and bcuz of this it in the least would lead to in the very least a strong bond of friendship

Which throughout their series they are both seen to heavily value their bonds with others so its very likely they'd also value their bond with each other.

DIFFERENCES

------

1. Gary is VERY dramatic meanwhile Eddie is VERY petty

2. Gary's dumbassery often comes from his dramaticness and goofiness meanwhile Eddie's dumbassery often comes from how far he'll go for even the smallest things and often just being called an idiot just from ppl who hate him in general

3. Eddie is often more serious than goofy/silly Gary is often more goofy/silly than serious

4. Eddie is the more competitive/try hard brother. Gary doesnt feel the need for the competition unless he's pushed into that point at most times but he's still willing to be competitive. It's just his brother is SUPER competitive compared to him.

5. Gary has lost a limb / is an amputee

Eddie so far has all his limbs and isnt considered physically disabled bcuz of losing one

6. Eddie is Asian Gary is White So they're not even the same race

7. They exist in different universes

8. Their shows aren't even owned by the same companies / networks

Now that I have explained their differences allow me to explain how these things could affect their dynamic

So as for Eddie's pettiness and Gary's dramaticness which alone are already fucking hilarious / hysterical Could you imagine what kind of funny sibling rivalries / fights we could get if those things were put TOGETHER IT WOULD BE AMAZING TOP TIER COMEDY.

And as for them not being the same race which would make it extremely unlikely that they could ever be biologically related even from jokes This means they could be honorary brothers and in my opinion that would make their dynamic even more special Bcuz that would’ve meant that even tho they were not bio family They still FOUND family in each other, they still manage to be someone who is very special in the other's life, that their bond is even stronger than than a blood/dna bond. Blood never stopped them from being family. And from what is seen in their shows they both heavily value their found families.

Also I forgot to mention this along side the whole petty and drama thing but Just IMAGINE the way these two could absolutely press each others buttons and piss the other off like you would not believe and in a way nobody else can. And stack Eddie's pettiness and Gary's dramaticness on top of the whole competition thing. Omg that shit would be fucking amazing. Bcuz one minute they'd be super close and affectionate with the other And then the next minute they are fighting like siblings you have NEVER seen before It would be so amazing.

And now that I have described what effect their differences would have on their dynamic I would like to share some of the main hc ideas I have for them that i think would be apart of the dynamic

1. They infodump to each other about their interests Even if they dont understand what their brother is on about, they nod along and pretend to know what the other is talking about anyways

2. Gary is at least 10 years older than Eddie

3. Gary annoys Eddie more often than Eddie annoys Gary

4. Both are very affectionate brothers Gary is often the more affectionate brother Though there are times where Eddie is more affectionate than Gary

5. They occasionally cause chaos together

6. They are probably drinking buddies Eddie often needs his brother to babysit his drunk ass Gary very rarely needs Eddie to babysit him when drunk

7. They are one of each other's closest best friends

8. They can tend to be a pretty protective brother over the other

9. Gary often has to try and make sure Eddie holds back on his pettiness towards others

10. Eddie likes to tease Gary for how dramatic he is

11. Eddie looked up to Gary a lot when they were younger He still thinks highly of his brother ofc but when they were younger Eddie idolized Gary

12. Gary often carried around Eddie when they were kids as Eddie was clingy towards him

And those are all of the hcs I can remember rn or havent explained in detail already with the similarity and differences explanations And I think by now you can starts to get the picture and the vision of what I am saying But yeah this is why I think Galactic Gaming are brothers And why their dynamic would work so well I hope you guys enjoyed reading this thread and maybe this has helped explained why I’m so crazy about these bros And maybe when I post more of them now this could help you guys enjoy it a bit more if you were confused 😅

THE EP 7 CONFESSION PARALLEL TOOK ME OUT I CANT BELIEVE THEY DID THAT........... i did not handle it well i spent the whole week up to ep13 coming up with . So many possible ideas for what could happen next it was A Time . the actual ep13 made me insane tho its too good pls look forward to it

First : read the new chapter of damage control. Forgive me for that long comment. I wanted to add that I enjoyed the aesthetic boards. Definitely help with the visualization of everything. I swear I love that story like crazy.

Furthermore I did see the post you made about your stories before I’m sure you deleted it. I wanted to take some time to ponder on it before I followed my first instinct and hit you up when I saw it first. Honestly, I don’t know (to your question) I enjoy your writing. Like I said a while ago when is started reading your stuff. You really pulled me into OC writing. The way you bring together a character is intriguing. Along with the visualizations you provide. I have so many of you OC series in my drafts like wisteria & moonlight (did not know about it till I saw you posted a finale chapter) that I plan to read. I will admit 🫣 damage control is my fave so I always make immediate time to read it.

It saddens me when thinking of your feelings but I understand. Todays world of writing on this site is weird. It’s definitely a contest of whose cooler and so many cliques. I truly believe there are more people than you know who read your stuff but might be shy or I don’t know (rambling now). I can only speak for myself so once again love your stories and hope people spread their love of them also 💚💚💚💚 (hope this wasn’t out of place, I rambled too much lol)
