Today marks the 17th of April, which is Palestinian prisoner day…
on such an occasion we wish for all of our innocent and beloved detainees and prisoners who have been put (without a charge, or because of wrongful and false accusations) inside the occupation’s prisons to very soon be released, to be able to experience life between us as it is and to gain back their freedom that they have been deprived from for months, if not even years or decades.
we wish that in a few years, when it is again the 17th of April, we’ll be looking back at this day and date in a Free Palestine while telling these stories of detainment and imprisonment as something of the past that will never bother us or come upon our lives to ruin them ever again.
on this day, we wish for the mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, daughters, sons, grandchildren and friends of those imprisoned to have endless amounts of patience, faith and hope until their loved ones are released.

For Historical Context : The Palestinian National Council chose April 17 as Palestinian Prisoner’s Day in 1974 because it was the date that Mahmoud Bakr Hijazi was released in the first prisoner exchange between Israel and Palestine in 1971.

About Fallout and ppl wanting Lucy and the Ghoul getting together. Like get a job and try not to be racist when you have a black character paired with non-black character please. I also hope they explore Maximus' backstory more in the second season bc this one way focused more on Lucy and Cooper.
Yeah this really echoes reylo discourse in the sense that it's hard to get people not to be racist about a piece of media that actively cares less about characters of colour. The fandom is racist because the media is. Tale as old as time alas. And so long as colourblind casting keeps happing on predominantly white productions, we'll never escape thoughtless casting of poc that leads to more racism.

this post brought to you by the white guilt cinema video essay guy who's big succ take was that that we "never see the people affected by the consequences of the Roys' actions so succession is therefore Bad" and I'm going insane because how did you miss the season one finale you know the one where KENDALL VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTERS A MAN WHO WORKS FOR HIM?? or how about THE ROCKET??? or the CRUISE COVER UP???? sorry that succession didn't have its core message of "LATE CAPITALISM COURTS FASCISM BY DESIGN" hardcoded as subtitles onto every scene I guess

i just realized i spelled walter instead of walton...rest assured i know how that man is i watched vice principals and the righteous gemstones for him. i literally did a little cheer in the theater when i realized he was in ant-man and the wasp
