You had been sitting in the corner of someone's house deciding to finally give up on finding your friends knowing that they had probably already found some random guy to hook up with. Looking around and watching the drunk young adults grind, sing, dance, scream and drink the night away you finally had enough of sitting there, you stood up from your seat walking into the kitchen and looking at the several different arrangements of drinks noticing they had fireball, whiskey, tequila, gin, brandy, and several other things in one section then having the beer in another.
Not wanting anything to hard and hating beer you went for the fruit punch pouring your cup 3/4 of the way and walking up the stairs making the decision not to open any closed doors knowing that one or several of your friends could be in that room doing things you didn't want to vision your friends doing right now. Noticing a slightly open door, seeing smoke continuously flowing out of the room as people go in and out some alone some with friends or partners.
Finally concluding that you didn't have anything to do and you were tired of being so sober you walked into the room the aroma of weed and what you think is vanilla and strawberry flavored juul pods. Sitting down on the couch near a window, trying to stay your farthest from the two men you were on the couch next to.
Pulling out your pod and taking a longer hit then you would usually and exhaling taking note to the pudding head and black haired male next to him who had been taking glances and staring on and off for about 20 minutes now. Taking your phone out trying to figure out why your phone had been vibrating in your back pocket continuously for a few minutes now. Rolling your eye seeing that your mother had been calling you and texting you nonstop making sure you were studying for your tests that weren't happening till like 3 months.
Texting your mother and telling her that you've been studying all week and its 10pm on a Saturday and you had been cramming for the past week and a half with barely any breaks. Turning your phone off whilst rolling your eyes. Noticing that the two boys across from you were still continuing to stare at you, you stared back at the two hoping that it would make them stop.
Them finally stopping you go on your phone texting your friends once more as an attempt to check on them even though you knew that at least two of them were together. "Hey..." the bed head said. "Uhm- hi." you said not really in the mood to talk to anyone right now. "I know we've been staring at you for a while now and sorry for that, but my friend said your beautiful/handsome and he would love it if you gave him his number." he said with a slight smirk on his face. "Well I mean sure but only if he comes over and asks himself." you say looking at the bi haired colored boy.
"Okay- wait sorry hold on." hurriedly getting up from the old beaten up couch with a smile on his face walking back over the his friend and whispering in his ear while pointing at you, the shorter boy blushes with a smile on his face getting up from his chair and awkwardly shuffling over to you. Sitting next to you and smiling the blush on his cheeks becoming more prominent.
"Hey... sorry about my friend. I told him to leave you alone, but he didn't listen." he said rubbing the back of his neck. "It's fine... so what's your name." you said as you took a hit from your juul "My names Kenma. What's yours?" he said finally starting to seem a little bit comfortable with you. "(M/N)" you said holding your hand out to shake his hand a warm smile coming across your face as you feel his skin contact yours.
"Your pretty to by the way." you say moving your phone out of your back pocket not liking the feeling of your mother blowing up your phone against your butt cheek. "What-?" Kenma said look up at you with wide eyes. "Your friend told me you thought I was pretty/handsome, so I said your pretty." You said smiling. "Oh ah- thanks." he said with a slight chuckle tucking some stray strands of hair behind his ear frowning slightly.
"You going to ask for my number or do I have to." you said smirking slightly in a more teasing/sensual tone, the smirk becoming wider and more prominent when that heavy blush that dusted his cheeks earlier dusted them once again. "You look like a strawberry again Kenma." you state teasing him once again and making his blush deeper. "So- uhm can I have your number... then." he says pointing at the phone on your thigh.
"Yeah sure give me your phone right quick" he says giggling a bit at how shy he was. "Yeah sure- here..." he says practically glowing and shaking a little from excitement. "Uh I called my number so your number should be in my phone now, and my contact name is my name. I didn't know what you wanted it as, so I put it as that." you said handing him his phone back and half way making sure he noticed. "Okay thanks I'll call you tonight to make sure you get home- if that's okay with you."
"Yeah it's fine with me. And I'll do the same if I leave before you." you said your voice lowering slightly as you start to become calmer and more comfortable around him. "Okay cool. You want a drink-" he says not knowing what to do now his mind creating an awkward atmosphere that wasn't even there. "Yeah sure. They didn't have anything good though which is why I got juice before." you said warning him that nothing good would be in the downstairs kitchen.
"Yeah I got mostly juice too. My friend wanted me to get a little tipsy so he wasn't drunk alone." he said you both walking down stairs as Kenma texts Kuroo letting him know where he was going so he would leave without him, it happened once and he'll never allow it to happen ever again. "Kool-Aid or Hawaiian punch?" you said as you chose something from the fridge. "Kool-Aid... duh." Kenma said laughing a bit.
"Which flavor?" you say. "Purple and red." answered checking his phone. "You like purple! I love purple too everyone I meet hates purple." you say a childlike grin on your face. (Yes, ur getting excited over Kool-Aid. The purple flavor deserves more hype!!) "Kenma!" the boy from earlier said hurriedly walking over to you both. "Yes kuroo." he said drinking out of his cup, you laughing a bit noticing he drinks like a 1st grader after they just got done playing outside.
"It's almost 3 we got to go. You have class at like 8 and my class is an hour before yours so let's go." Kuroo said ready to drag him away. "Well I have to go I have a pretty early class tomorrow, but I'll be sure to call you." he said making sure he had everything he originally came with in his pockets. "Yeah sure bye Kenma and..." pausing waiting for Kuroo to tell you his name again. "Oh! Kuroo my names Kuroo."
"And Kuroo. We'll talk later 'mkay?" you said smiling at Kuroo then going to look back at Kenma. "Yeah sure I'll probably text you first by the way." he said him and Kuroo grabbing each other's hands and saying bye. Checking the time, the realization finally settling in that your friends were still missing, and it was almost 3 in the morning.
'Jesus fucking christ where the hell are these fuckers' you think to yourself storming back up the steps your patients being thin to none. 'On my mommy if these hoes fucking somebody I'm leaving' putting your ear up to at least 4 different doors before you finally found them, seeing one friend passed out in the bathroom and the others scattered around the room.
"My god what did you guys get yourselves into" you said finally feeling the exhaustion that you were suppressing throughout the past two weeks. "Ty's sick and vomiting it's guts out in the bathroom, Isaiah's knocked he's been like that for about an hour now, and Alex was crying but ink's now under the desk over there... and I didn't drink a lot so I'm fine." your friend said you trying to find Alex.
"Ok well its... 5 minutes away from being 4 am.", "Okay..."
**Timeskip**
After taking everyone home and making sure they got in bed safely you and your friend Malik both shared an uber back to both of your houses. Finally reaching the comfort of your room you go to your connected bathroom and start getting ready for the night. Taking a shower, doing your skin care, getting a snack while putting on your show starting to finally calm down.
Finally finishing your food getting up to brush your teeth and going back to your room pressing play to your show again. Turing on your night light and finally laying down. Jumping slightly when you hear you phone go off completely forgetting about it. Turning over to your nightstand to get your phone. Confused when an unknown number shows up on your phone.

he’d rehearse how he’s going to confess in his head like a million times but when the moment actually comes it ends up just being a jumbled up mess filled with “ums” and he’d try to stick to the script him and sylvain came up with and get out a “y-you’re r-really… u-uh… p-pretty..” but then he’d fuck it all up by saying something weird n dorky like “a-and you s-smell really nice… w-wait that’s weird i’m sorry-” and you’d just hold back ur laughter, ur heart swelling with so so much affection for him.
ofc he’d ask for permission to kiss you, cheeks crimson and his eyes looking up at yours like tht one starry eyed emoji. you’d give him a vocal response, since he rly needs that reassurance. no stutters just “of course ashe” and he’d smile so so big and then just swoop down totally uncoordinated.
would probs miss your lips and have to readjust.
kissing ashe for the first time would be … messy. he’s not experienced at all, and doesn’t know what to do with his hands and he’d honestly be a dead fish for a good few moments. but as you ease him more into the kiss, he’d loosen up a bit, tilt his head and just stop overthinking. his lips would be really warm and would taste so sweet from the cake and he’d smile so hard into the kiss that your teeth end up bumping into each other and you’d pull away laughing
ashe kisses are the best honestly the butterflies fireworks the whole shebang yknow.
as he gets more confident he’d probably try out a few things he’s seen in books like slipping his tongue in and would be completely taken aback by just how nice it feels. would probably whine into the kiss, cradle your face in his hands, and once you guys pull apart for some air he’d just breathe heavily against your lips with the dopiest smile on his face :( <3

probably the most passionate kisser out of the three, he kisses to the point where u can’t feel ur toes and stuff he’d just completely indulge without any fucks given bc he almost lost you and he’s not good with explaining his emotions so hopefully this helps you understand.
the other way i can see a first kiss going down with felix is more.. vulnerable, despite his hard exterior. he is rough and mean but it’s not bc he’s genuinely a bad person he just has walls built up so high tht its impossible for anyone to rly climb over
to get a kiss from lix, u definitely have to have climbed over tht wall of his, or just fly a wrecking ball through it n send it crumbling to the ground

if he had to actually say “i want cuddles” out loud he’d probably shoot himself in the foot with an arrow so he’s glad u understand, u always understand him just by looking at him n it’s reassuring bc he’s never been good with words.

BNHA AU Ideas: Power Transfer
Also on AO3!
TL;DR:
One for all is a power that has been passed down for generations. Turns out the most recent generation can afford to be a whole lot more liberal with his sharing. Also turns out sharing quirks runs in the family.
An AU where Izuku can share OFA full cowling with multiple people at once.

izuku giving aizawa 5% of one for all durring the usj or izuku giving toshinori 99% of OFA durring the last fight
cause consider the world never finding out about small might, all might retires but izuku knows
the rescue team all having the max amount of ofa they can use, which is around 2% each, cause a lil sparking team of heroes
izuku using kirishima to give bakugo some too n them using it to get away
izuku having two quirks is my favourite goddamn thing bc him being able to share his quirk but not having anything to share is great
he gives bits to allmight, like a constant 1% so he can teach classes and do press stuff
some rando wants to do an "all might" where is he now segment and it spans a good few months so izuku is continuously in the background just
conspiracy theory starts that izuku is a villain or allmights son
a villain and all might's son
izuku has no double toe joint but the doc cant find any evidence of a quirk? so he tells them izuku is either quirkless or has an invisible quirk. something subtle, or specific enough to have not activated by now
bakugo kinda,, is chill with izuku. he was waiting for izuku to develop a quirk till he judged him, but he never did so he kinda withheld judgement long enough for them to become decent friends
anyway, izuku likes to ramble about different things his quirk could technically be, bakugo likes to join in. they can go at this for h o u r s cackling about stupid hypotheticals
they workout together, they both do boxing and try out random moves they see on the internet on each other. they have a pile of gym mats in the woods like the weirdos they are
bakugo is like,, convinced izuku's quirk is actually an intellect up but he just shrugs
izuku has to grab something before he heads home so he takes the underpass and we get basically episode 1 from there. all might says no, the villain gets away, attacks Bakugo. izuku runs in, throws dust in the villain's eyes and pulls at bakugo's hands. all might jumps in, saves the day yada yada
some background for u about all might bc his past is a touch different here. during the battle with afo, afo was distracted. all might sustained the same injures but won more easily.
night eye never looks into his future because "my purpose is done, nighteye. let's live like everyone else, no fate of the world on our shoulders" he never looks into all mights future again at his request
they stay together
so instead of the big argument they go get ramen and get drunk because they don't have to be superhuman anymore, they can relax now
back to the main timeline-
so izuku is already fit, cleans the beach in 8 months, nighteye supervises
all might gives izuku the quirk 2 months before the entrance exam, nighteye is there to "oversee" (he wants to see izuku choke on a hair and laugh at this kid hes become pretty fond of)
also mirio! is izuku's bro because i love he
izuku eats the hair and gets the quirk like, instantly which?? is confusing nighteye and all might. nighteye has like,,, hidden behind a car because hes the only person with self-preservation
allmight touches izuku and the lightning climbs up his arm and he just pOofs out into swolmight. hes ShooK, so is izuku
anyway, he manages to turn it off and izuku is just standing there like "oh my god what the fuck"

so izuku gets to hear the story of all for one while hes being driven to UA for recovery girl hes,,, really quiet for a second

hisashi went out on a "business trip" 6 years ago and they haven't seen him since. he calls, but hes never visited and izuku has this terrible feeling

izuku gets treated, naomasa is in v quickly afterwards before he calls his dad he turns to nighteye, allmight and Naomasa
"i've never been able to lie to my dad. i thought he was just really good at reading me but,,"
"if hes afo he might have a quirk"
"yeah. so i'll just twist the truth. im good at that, but thats all i'll be able to do"
anyway, he calls up his dad and slaps this big grin on his face. the phone is on speaker
"hey dad!!!!" "izuku! is something wrong?"
"oi, cant i call my dad for no reason?"
"you, willingly calling someone? dont make me laugh"
izuku giggles despite himself
"anyway, you'll never guess!!"
"did youuuu,,,, hmmmm, meet all might?"
they freeze but izuku just laughs

"oh?"
"yeah! imagine the worlds most basic power enhancer, but i can share the energy! you have any idea where that could have come from?"
"no! i can't think of anyone in our family with a quirk like that! sounds crazy!"
naomasa looks grin, and mouths "liar"
izuku pales but keeps his smile
"do you think you could visit, id love to show you!! oh, maybe we could test it together! you always had the best ideas for my quirk notes"
"id love to izuku, but im stuck in america for the near future, you know it is. i'll see what i can do tho, ok champ?"
naomasa shakes his head again "lying" izuku looks like hes going to be sick. nighteye is pale, all might looks stunned. izuku grits his teeth but his voice is still light and happy
"i'm gonna make it into UA so you can watch me kick butt from america! you better cheer me on!"
"im looking forward to it. say hi to your mother from me."
naomasa nods. hes telling the truth. that makes nighteye feel the sickest

he runs out his door all the way to bakugos house and climbs in through his window, grabbing a sleeping bakugo by the shoulders

izuku, w the most shit-eating grin, explains that you only legaly have to register your quirk when it shows up, or after you are tested when you are five, whichever happens first so, legally, he doesnt need to register because it would be seen as voluntary updating
cut to the enterance exam
aizawa is holding the papers for the kids hes observing right then
"quirkless? that kid doesn't look quirkless"
and yagi sighs
"of course he didnt,,,"

basically, quirk test? shinsou is s w e a t i n g bakugo looks a little worried for his new friend but no one would notice if they weren’t izuku
shinsou turns to him like "my quirk is mental im going to fa I L"
izuku grabs his hand and he feels this rush of energy, you can almost see it dancing along his skin. izuku grins

(izuku gave him like,, less than a full 1% but hes like doubled in strength and speed and hes??? shook?? bc whats happening)
aizawa is lost bc shinso has a mental quirk he shouldnt be doing this well, so he tries to cancel it
nothing happens and aizawa is so lost??? bc shinsou is kinda reedy and not super fit but hes placing solidly in the middle
and he noticing that shinso’s eyes seem to be glowing and so are they eyes of the kid coming in second and gives a big "hm,mmmm"
anyway, ball pitch, he cancels izukus quirk and turns to look at shinso, his eyes are dim. izuku looks sheepish but also like hes ready to throw down and its an interesting look
aizawa just sighs "you know what? just throw the ball."
izuku g r i n s and yeets it into next year using more of his quirk than he like,, really should have? to prove a point (his finger is bruised, not broken. he used 25%)
anyway aizawa shows the results, shinso is in the middle, izuku second, hagakure is last and sadly shes not getting expelled bc plot reasons – im sorry I have a thing against her shes perfectly valid probably im just still convinced shes the traitor even tho its totally a teacher
he calls izuku out on it but does admit he didnt say you couldnt help eachother, so its kind on him. shinso looks like hes going to pass out with relief
Hagekure is the traitor in this au though, 100%
during the camp she is at the pick up zone, hiding. izuku pulls bakugo out of the way, they all seem safe
but
she pushes izuku in through the portal as it closes
fyi afo takes her quirk and leaves her braindead in the nomu factory bc shes not useful anymore. also because now he needs to have a really awkward conversation with his son he was hoping to avoid

he gives aizawa 4% which is the max nighteye could hold without it hurting
aizawa takes a hit from the nomu and he reaches out his hand
izuku cries as he gives him an extra 4% and aizawa gets free but he can see bruises forming with every step his teacher takes

Sweet Pea x (Male!) Reader
Prompt: a little while ago I wrote a two part series called behind closed doors that was inspired by a post I read. I got asked if I was going to do a part 3 so here it is! If you want to read the other parts first (I recommend you do) they’re a little way down my page.
A/N: ok so this turned out to be way longer than I expected. hope you like it! @serpentscvm im definitely doing a part 4.
Warnings: violence, profanity, lite smut.
Sunny Side trailer park was lit from top to toe and full of teenage serpents who had all gathered together for a saturday night party. You were sitting contently on one of the many lawn chairs with a beer in your hand and Toni chatting away next to you. Sweet Pea and Fangs were standing together surrounded by a few other serpents, all talking and shouting loudly. (gif 1) It had been a few days since Sweet Pea took you on your first date, and you two had made it official.
You hadn’t told anyone yet, you thought to yourself how you liked your privacy and that people would find out when the time was right. But you didn’t know that in a few seconds, that would be the said time. just as you were about to reply to one of Toni’s questions, Sweet Pea’s familiar shout of anger interrupted your conversation and your head snapped around to see what was going on. Pea had swung at another teenage serpent, and now the two of them were on the ground in a fist fight. You immediately stood up and ran over, adrenaline pumping through your body.
“Sweets, stop!” you shouted, a few people turning to look at you in bafflement as his nick name slipped from your lips. Fangs retracted from trying to pull his friend away, his actions clearly useless against yours but Pea didn’t listen to you. instead he straddled the boy’s chest and began to lay hard and nasty punches to his face. The look in Pea’s eyes was ferocious and it even scared you a little bit to the point where your body went into shock. but your senses soon kicked back in and you grabbed Sweet Pea’s forearm, holding onto him as hard as you could as he tried to lay his next punch. “Sweets stop, he’s out, you’re going to kill him!”
Sweet Pea sucked in a breath then turned his head to face you, his teeth bared and his cheek bleeding. you tugged on his forearm for him to get up, and as he did so FP Jones strutted over with a look of annoyance on his face. “Sweet Pea, get out of here now and go cool off!” FP shouted, pointing towards the other side of the trailer park. you tugged on his arm once again and led him towards his trailer, your heart still racing in your chest. “sweets, what the hell was that about!” you inquired once the two of you had reached a safe distance away from crowd of people.
The ferocious look in his eyes had faded now, but you could tell he was still angry by the lack of affection he was giving you. “Fucking Fangs asked me about you, then before I could even reply that idiot asked if me and you were together” Sweet Pea ran a hand through his hair frustratedly as he continued to speak, “I said yes, then after that he started calling us names... I couldn’t handle it, I didn’t care about me,” Sweet Pea looked up at you, this time his eyes sad, (gif 2) “but it was when he said your name that I lost it”
You stood there with your mouth open and your eyes wide. one: Pea had told Fangs about you and him, two: now probably everyone knew, and three: you were trying to be annoyed at Pea for telling your personal business but somehow you couldn’t. It made you swoon how protective he was of you, and Fangs was his best friend after all. “(Y/N) say something” Sweet Pea pleaded as he took a step closer to you. You had been standing there for almost a minute in silence with your mouth open in shock, but you quickly snapped it shut then looked at your boyfriend with loving eyes.
“You can’t let people like that make you angry, I know it’s easier said than done but... sweets you could have killed him” you argued slightly, hating seeing him hurt. his right under eye was already beginning to bruise and his knuckles were now sliced open with blood slowly seeping down his fingers. “so? I’m a serpent (Y/N) I would have killed him, I wanted to” Pea replied with a growl, his eyebrows furrowing together in a frown. you couldn’t believe the words that had just come out of his mouth, you were a serpent to but you would never kill someone intentionally. “Sweet Pea don’t even say that!” he flinched at his full name coming out of your mouth, you hadn’t called him that since that steamy night in the truck.
“why the hell not? It’s true!” he yelled back, his hot head getting the best of him. he was now trying to tower you, but being the same height as him was not working in his favour at the moment. “because you can’t go around saying that, you’re a serpent and if the wrong person heard you...” “oh please! do you really think a fucking northsider could take me down? don’t be stupid.” Sweet Pea scoffed, his eyes staring daggers at you. you were from the northside, and his attitude right now was to much. you folded your arms across your chest and glared at him. “you seem to forget that I am from the northside, so yeah a ‘fucking northsider’ has already taken you down, think about that later on when you’re alone.” you snapped, turning around on your heel and walking off towards your house. “fine, I will! run off back to the northside!” Pea yelled after you, causing you to turn around and pull the middle finger as you continued on to the bridge.
It was true, you were a northsider. until your dad decided to run off leaving you and your mum to fend for yourselves. you and your mum stayed with Archie and Fred for a few weeks but it got to much, and you ended up becoming close with Jughead again. that was when you and your mum had to make the move to the southside as it was all she could afford. but it had felt more like home than the northside ever did and you’d loved it until now. you and Sweet Pea were so fresh into the relationship that it made you sad you two had had your first argument over something so stupid. you missed your stuttering boy in your bedroom at 3 am. but right now his temper was getting the best of him and you didn’t want to be around that. your heart began to ache in your chest as you already began to miss him.

your phone vibrated loudly under your pillow, waking you up from your half asleep state. you rubbed your eyes with a yawn, then as all the events of that night came rushing back into your mind you felt that annoying tingle of sadness in your chest. you looked towards your window expecting it to be morning but it was still pitch black outside. your phone vibrated again, and as you looked at the new text message that lit up your screen your heart sped up a little.

the last message of ten read. Sweet Pea had texted you many times before that, all asking where you were and if you were okay. you unlocked your phone and began typing back.
what do you want?
you pressed send and dropped the phone onto your bed. all you wanted was him right now but you were still upset at the way he had spoken to you. ‘ding’
you... where are u?
you smiled down at your phone screen.

I’m comin
at his last text message you shot up out of bed and tried to freshen yourself up. you sprayed on some cologne, pulled on your jeans and a shirt and tried your best to tidy your crazy bed hair. ‘ding’
open ur window
you hurried over to your window and slid it open as quietly as you could. Sweet Pea began to climb, and once he was in your room he stood still and stared at you with puppy eyes, making your heart ache for him. “don’t look at me like that” you whispered, frustrated he was making you cave. Sweet Pea whined and walked over to your bed, sitting down with a loud thump. “I’m sorry... I can’t... control my emotions sometimes and you...” Sweet Pea rubbed at his face, his knuckles now taped up and the first thought that popped into your head was Toni. “you make me feel all these... feelings and I feel...” Pea looked up at you. “I feel like I’m going insane”
his face was sad but his eyes were full of passion, causing arousal and excitement to swirl around in your body. but you wanted to keep your cool for now. “insane?” you inquired, leaning your bottom against the dresser. “yes, like nuthouse insane... OH HELL YEAH
ok so im gonna go ahead and uhh warn in advance
vals backstory / ongoing story is mainly consistent of psychological horror / horror in general so there will be references to gore / violence in here but ill try to keep it concise
that being said this is pretty long so ill put it under the cut!
so basically hes a very weird guy like he used to be very anxious and painfully bad with others because of the fear of being judged/harmed/etc and a looming paranoia that he’s always had, hes very neurotic and hard to understand most of the time because of this
ever since he lost his eye, hes .. not been like that. its like it changed smth in him and now hes just angry / has a super big head about himself because (spoiler for the beginning of his story but) he killed the person who took out his eye because they were trying to kill him as well, and ever since then he realized hes not as wimpy as he thought he was
not much more i can say w/o spoiling but that sort of is what kicks off his entire story
hes friends with cain and cain can testify that hes not .. AS weird and high-energy/high-maintenance when they’re just chilling but if val starts freaking out its hard to deal with, but other than that hes just kind of there
he has a really weird view on himself because of his father being a demon , he’s an obligate carnivore because of that (his father consumed only souls & other people) so val could very well die if he stopped consuming any sort of meat at all (including shitty meat like taco bell meat or whatever it can be anything as long as its meat)
that being said; he’s really, really hard to kill. hes not immortal like his father was considering that his mother was just a regular jackal, but he is very hard to kill like anything that would normally kill someone else takes way more effort to kill him. the only surefire way is fire.
[ tw for skin disorders / etc stuff like that ] and the reason he has bandages on his ARMS (not his legs) is because he chews up the fur/skin out of anxiety/nerves a lot i kind of based it on my own past with dermatophagia dialed up to the extreme as well as overgrooming behavior in canines , and the bandages on his ankle covers up where he scratches at it - hes usually not seen without them becuase hes self conscious hence why i made them non-optional
and when it comes to the mask ive given him as of late, well
theres nothing PHYSICALLY wrong with his face, aside from his big and kind of fucked up teeth and his weird tongue which isnt really even the majority of what he hates, he just strongly dislikes the lower half of his face and he also feels that wearing a mask kind of ‘takes away’ any identity he has, he doesn’t want people to connect with him upon first glance, it makes him very uncomfortable to know that people Know him so he takes steps to prevent that feeling
also the ‘goat leg’ version that i draw him sometimes isnt canonical its just how he ‘views’ himself if it makes sense
also when it comes to weapons: he literally only ever uses a god damn crowbar or a bat thats it like he CAN use anything but he prefers melee weapons
a lot of parts of his design are symbolic since he did start out being my fursona (he still is hes just not ENTIRELY based off of me anymore hes got his own story and personality going on as well so i guess hes more of a mascot but im still really attached to him in a personal way)
also for some random facts bc why not

Dex huffed and slumped back against the nasty, green couch. He knew Bitty would make a fuss about sitting on it -- the thing had been a point of contention between him and Chowder for months now -- but the only other option were the lumpy arm chairs and Dex hated those things.
“You texting with Derek again?”
Dex started; he hadn't realized Bitty was home. “Yeah. Why d’you ask?”
Bitty cast him a wry look over the back of the couch. “He stresses you out in a way only Chowder ever has.”
“That's not true,” Dex said grumpily. “You stress me out the most.”
“So kind,” Bitty teased. “Keep up that kinda sweet talk and I'll think you're flirting with me.”
Normally Dex would've laughed at the absurdity of the idea, but today it gave him pause. “Do people really think we’re the ‘gay country band?’”
Bitty’s smile fell. “Well, yeah, sort of. Why?”
Dex shrugged, glancing at his phone. “I don't know. Just something Derek said. I thought it was like...you were the ‘gay country singer’ and we were just your band.”
Bitty’s face grew steely and he crossed his arms over his chest. “I'm sorry you have to suffer through the inconvenience of people assuming you're gay, that must just be so difficult-”
“Bitty,” Dex started, but Bitty was already headed out of the room.
“I'm going to the store,” Bitty said gruffly, grabbing his wallet from the key basket. “Be back later.” Dex stood to follow, hand outstretched.
“Bits-” But the front door slammed shut. Dex huffed a frustrated sigh and punched the wall, not quite hard enough to break anything but just enough to hurt.
Why was it that Derek’s texts annoyed him so much? Dex had never minded being lumped in with the rainbow flags and hell-bound accusations before; the Biscuits were a team and a team stuck together, had each other’s backs. Bitty was the only one of them who was gay, but they all stood for his message.
Except...except maybe he wasn't the only one at all.
It had been about a year prior, and they were on the last stretch of a tour, heading from Boise to Seattle through a long stretch of absolutely nothing. Rans had picked up a thing of decent whiskey in a sketchy, Idaho liquor store and they were in the middle of a rousing game of never have I ever. Chowder was winning at this point, with only a few fingers down, but seemed to be mercilessly targeting Bitty.
(“Never ever I have ever...lived in Madison, Georgia.”
“I swear to God, Christopher-”)
Dex was doing alright himself. He'd been impacted by Bitty’s attacks against northerners and hockey fans, but not in the same way Ransom had. Now they were battling each other ruthlessly, determined not to go out first. Bitty had two fingers left; Ransom had one.
There was something dangerously smug in Ransom’s drunken gaze as he rounded on Bitty, smirk growing. “Never ever have I ever...kissed another man.”
Bitty gasped indignantly and took his shot like a champ, very reluctantly lowering a finger. Before the next turn could be taken, however, he lunged across the circle and pulled Ransom’s mouth to his.
It wasn't the most coordinated kissing Dex had ever seen. Ransom was drunk enough that the force of it knocked him over to the side, and he dragged Bitty with him. Bitty paid no mind to the fact that he was now lying on top of his best friend; they both sort of got lost in the movements of their lips, kissing languidly and sloppily for a moment, like they were the only two people on that bus.
Then Bitty pulled back with a triumphant grin and shouted, “Take a shot, Justin.”
“No!” Ransom flopped back onto the ground, covering his face in his hands. “Bits that was a dirty move. I call foul!”
“Don't be a sore loser,” Bitty chirped, filling Ransom’s shot glass halfway. Dex supposed it would've been filled all the way if Bitty hadn't spilled so much onto the floor of the tour bus.
“Bitty, that was great!” Chowder said through his laughter. “Wasn't it, Dex?”
But Dex couldn't answer, all too aware of the uncomfortable tightness of his pants. He willed himself to calm down, to not show just how much he'd been affected by the scene in front of him.
“Oh, I'm sorry,” Bitty was huffing out as Ransom tried to sit on him. “Did I offend your delicate, Canadian sensibilities?”
“I'll show you delicate,” Ransom hissed, using his full body weight to squish Bitty against the floor. Bitty’s cheeks had gone bright red from the liquor and the exertion, and Dex found the sight more intoxicating than the alcohol in his bloodstream. “You're a huge cheater and I'm gonna make sure the whole world knows.” He pulled a marker from his pocket, uncapping it with his teeth.
“No you don't!” Bitty shouted, struggling against Ransom, but Ransom was twice his size and loomed over him. Dex swallowed roughly. “We have an interview tomorrow! Absolutely not! Do not draw on my face- I will call your mother right now.”
Somewhere in there, Dex excused himself to the bathroom, and hoped no one noticed when he took a little extra time and returned glassy-eyed and out of breath.
When Bitty returned from the “store” several hours later, he was met by the sight of a pie. Peaches and cream, to be exact.
It was nothing fancy, not like the salted rose and honey pie Bitty had made the day before, the crust shaped into beautiful braids and flower petals, but it was the one kind of pie Bitty could never bring himself to make, despite the fact that it was his favorite. Dex had a hunch as to why this was, but had never gotten a direct answer about it. And that didn’t matter right now.
“I didn’t…” He started as Bitty cautiously stepped into the kitchen, eyes wide as he studied the pie on the table. “I wasn’t trying to imply I was- it’s not-”
“Dex, it’s fine,” Bitty said sullenly. “You’re not the first straight guy I’ve known who’s-”
“I’m gay,” Dex blurted out, wringing his hands together. “Um. Yeah.”
Bitty’s eyes, if possible, grew wider. “Oh! Oh, Dex, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t’ve- I should’ve-”
“You didn’t know,” Dex said with a small shrug. “And honestly...I haven’t been sure about it myself. Until now.”
“Oh, hun.” Bitty surged forward and pulled Dex into a tight hug. Dex let out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding and rested his chin on top of Bitty’s head. “C’mon, let’s eat this pie you made and you can talk about it. Or not!” He added, pulling back with a worried expression. “You don’t have to, unless you want to, but if you want to I’m always here, please know that-”
“Bits.” Dex grabbed both of his shoulders, smiling down at him. “There’s no one else I’d want to talk to about it more.”
“Because I’m the only gay guy you know?” Bitty chirped, moving to cut two slices of pie. Dex rolled his eyes.
“I do have other friends, you know,” he said, pulling out two plates and two forks.
“Sure,” Bitty said lightly. “And I’m an NBA player.” He handed a plate to Dex with a teasing grin.
“Ass,” Dex said, but kissed Bitty’s cheek lightly in thanks. Bitty rolled his eyes but Dex felt a million pounds lighter, just from the sheer freedom of being able to do something like that without consequence, at least in the safety of their kitchen. Bitty took his own slice and shepherded Dex into the living room, chatting a mile a minute about how good the pie smelled and how impressed he was Dex had made it all on his own.
When Chowder returned from Cait’s that evening, he walked into the living room to see Bitty and Dex asleep on the couch -- on top of a beach towel, obviously -- Bitty’s legs perched in Dex’s lap and an empty pie tin sitting on the coffee table.
In Dex’s hand, about to fall to the floor, was his phone, still open to some text thread. Carefully, Chowder took the phone and set it on the table, noticing that the thread was with Derek Nurse, unsurprisingly. They’d all befriended the Falcs the evening Bitty and Jack got together; Chowder himself was frequently in contact with Snowy and Tater, and on occasion Nurse himself. He didn’t look at the thread, but if he had, it might’ve made him smile.

i wrote these as a comission kind of thing for a friend of mine and since people wanted me to post them, here they are!!

is totally attending different colleges under false names because he’s stuck in his age for the rest of his life might as well look like he’s doing something other twenty year olds should be doing - right?
got transformed when he went to korea for vacation and well....he didn’t want to tell everyone in the US that hey im a vampire now so he decided he’d stay in korea instead,,,
doesn’t take the time to hide his fangs like other vampires his age, so people sometimes are like wow what sharp teeth! and he’s just like uh yeah all people in america have these and he can’t believe it but 70% people believe him.......
as cliche as it sounds you meet him at a party
a party.....neither of you want to be at seeing as though u got dragged here by a friend of yours and joshua had come over to see if seungcheol was going to finally give him his book back but well....seungcheol just HAPPENED to be throwing a party......
and so you’re both like standing beside the snacks table which is just a mess now with chips splayed all over the place and “punch” leaking out of cups and like
you have your glass of water which you had gotten for ur friend who had refused it and joshua is just shifting back and forth with this annoyed expression on his face
and you look up at him and you’re like
“........do you need to use the restroom.....or are you trying to dance?”
and joshua gives you a sideways glare and he’s like “neither. im trying to find out where seungcheol is. i need to talk to him.” and you just sip your water like “that might take some time, i just saw him disappear out the door with someone, don’t think he’s gonna be coming back for the night.”
you can literally see the pissed off expression on joshua’s face just get worse and he looks like he might punch a wall or something so you’re like
“what do you need from him anyway?” and joshua, through gritted teeth is like “a................book.” and you’re like...............a book? really? you look like you want to murder him over a book, what is it like 100 year old copy?
and joshua’s like “yes” and you’re like LMAO RIGHT (it actually......is......joshua bought it for a class he had back in the 1920s)
but anyway you have no way of knowing that and of course you don’t believe him and joshua just turns around and grabs a cup of punch and downs it in one shot and you’re like “woah-”
but then he’s like “um,,,,,,,this isn’t juicE?” and you’re like YOU ACTUALLY THOUGHT IT WAS PUNCH
the myth about vampires being party animals with high tolerances: debunked by hong joshua
and joshua wipes at his lips and he’s like “it’s even grosser than juice, it’s disgusting”
and you’re like “yeah alcohol is gross if you don’t drink it often” and joshua mumbles “i don’t drink human drinks often but god...” and you’re like human?? what now??
but anyway this joshua kid, he’s interesting. he’s got something about him that’s different and your friend has long since abandoned you and he’s the only one here who isn’t completely full of himself so you’re like
“wanna ditch the party?” and he snorts like “i want to find seungcheol and -” and you’re like “yeah yeah, that won’t happen tonight c’mon let’s sneak out”
and you grab his hand and joshua scrunches up his nose but lets you pull him along because honestly the smell of sweat and other things is clogging up his nose and so when you’re outside just the two of you in the night air
joshua can finally breath a bit easier and that’s when he notices that you smell,,,,,,,,,,well you smell sweet
and ofc he can’t tell you this lmao but he’s intrigued because he’s been a vampire for a bit over century and sure there have been humans who smell sweet but yours is something more,,,
and his urge for human blood has been calmed by a 60 year diet of straight up cows blood but he takes a step closer and almost has to actually stop himself from moving your hair a bit away to expose your neck
but yeah you notice this, the way joshua is basically borrowing holes into you with his eyes and you’re like well you chuckle and he’s like ?? and you’re like “you’re staring at me so intently, at the party it didn’t seem like you were the least bit interested”
the comment makes joshua embarrassed, of course no blush because no blood, but he just looks down and he’s like ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,don’t take it the wrong way
but you giggle because you think it’s cute and confidently you’re like “hmm i don’t know i think i want to take it the wrong way”
and joshua is kind of left speechless and you’re like “.......if that book you gave seungcheol is actually 100 years old do you have other books that old in your dorm?” and joshua doesn’t have enough time to sort out a reaction he’s just like “....well yes”
and you’re like omg cool let’s go
and you’re leading him off again and joshua wants to shake off your hand because he shouldn’t be doing this, but then again he’s had like 10 different roommates through the years he’s been attending ‘college’ and it’s not like he’s ever hurt someone when they’re alone
but that sweet,,,,,smell
but it’s too late you’ve basically dragged him to the dorm and joshua begrudgingly lets you follow him inside and the bookcase beside joshua’s bed is stuffed to the point of suffocation
and you immediately run over to see his collection while joshua takes an awkward seat on his bed and you pick a book up and you’re like
“wow,,,,,,,it’s falling apart, i think this one REALLY is 100 years old” and joshus is just like “i already told you-”
and you’re like “you must have got them from your grand parents or something, right?”
and joshua looks at you for a moment and smirks and you tilt your head in confusion but he’s like “yeah. grandparents.”
and that’s how you spend a good hour going through all his books and joshua slowly gets a bit more comfortable with your presence
until you sit beside him, point to the open book in his lap and because you’re leaning over neck exposes itself right before him and he just,,,,stares
and when you look up you see how fixated he is and you flush red because wow he’s looking at you like,,,,,,,,,,like that
and you maybe.....totally.......really......thought he was cute too and you hadn’t any intentions when you came over but now,,,
and you’re not the type to hold it back especially since joshua is just blatantly looking at you and so you lean up a bit and put your lips over his
and somehow joshua gets hypnotized by the sweetness of you and he lets you kiss him,,,he lets you kiss him while he chants in his head that he needs to stop but he can’t - he can’t
but then you pull back suddenly
and joshua sees the alarm in your eyes and you bring your fingers to your lips and when you pull them back
theres a tiny hint of blood and you’re like
“.................f-fangs?”
and joshua’s eyes widen and he’s like f U C-
and you’re like “you ha- h-have fangs?” and he’s like oh god how do i get out of this but he literally cannot think straight because the blood on your finger is driving him crazy and before he cant stop himself he’s reaching out for your wrist, bringing your finger against his own lips
and you’re like oh my god o h my g o d
and joshua almost - almost licks the blood off but then stops himself and is like “you should go, please”
and you’re like “no what - no - are you ok?”
joshua swats your hand away when you try to reach out and he grabs his head and he’s like ,,,,,,,, “just forget it- forget everything”
but you just stand there and gently you put your hand over joshua’s and you’re like “i don’t want to leave, until you tell me you’re ok”
and joshua can’t believe you he looks up from between his hair and he’s like “are you crazy, you’re the one who won’t be ok if you stay here - i’ll-”
and you laugh because you’re like “if you would have wanted to bite me, you would have already. im not scared, but you look like you’re in pain - do you want...........it?”
and you offer up the still small smear of blood on your finger and for a second joshua stares at it but then he shakes his head and goes “i can’t give in-”
you nod and leave the room for a bit and joshua hears the sound of running water in the sink and you come back and smile and you’re like “that’s it, my tongue might still be bleeding a bit but i got the blood off my finger. are you ok?”
joshua looks at you and he’s like,,,,,once again you’ve left him dumbfounded and he’s like
“you should go.”
and you nod, turning to go through the door but then you turn back and lean up and tap your cheek and joshua is like ,........what the heck are you doing
and you’re like “i dont want to kiss you because your fangs cut my tongue, but you should at least give me a kiss goodnight.”
and joshua, again if he had blood would be blushing, but instead he just turns his head and he’s like “i said go”
but you pout and you’re like “kiss goodnight or i tell seungcheol you don’t need that ancient book back”
joshua turns to you and he’s like,,,,,,,fine and he presses his lips to your cheek and pulls back, still scared a bit because your smell really is pulling on his heartstrings
but you just grin and wave like you’re really going to leave but then you turn one more time and you’re like
“.....so your books? they’re not from your grandparents are they?”
joshua takes a second but he can’t even help but smile
“no. no they’re not.”

and you want to stutter out a thank you but he just looks at you, eyes a deep brown ringed by vibrant red
and you can only manage a- “you - you’re a vampire too”
and the boy just rolls his eyes but nods and puts a finger to his mouth as a signature to keep quiet
and then, you actually don’t even notice but he’s still supporting you with his other hand around your waist
and when he lets go you almost lose feeling in your leg because wow ok what everyone in china is a vampire? everyone in the imperial city is a vampire? beautiful people are all vampires? what the he c k
but he then gently takes your wrist and leads you back down the long hallway you came from
and as he’s walking you think to yourself that,,,,wait if he hadn’t been there -would you have been bitten?
and before he leaves you back in the main entrance you came from, you ask him for his name
and he just simply says “xu minghao” and you’re like “can i ask another question?” and he’s like “no.”
but you don’t listen and your’e like “do you - do you bite people-”
but he just smiles and touches the top of your heart, almost the same way people pet children and he turns around and in a flash he disappears
and you’re,,,,,,,standing there, stuck with the vague image of his face still in your head and you want to just shake it off because you’re probably not going to see him again
and you can see your tour group returning in the distance and so you take a step forward, but then you decide no - you can’t just join them, you have to see this whole place for yourself (what other fantastical things could be hiding there??)
so instead of joining them and guaranteeing safety, you go back into another hallway
and as you’re wondering you don’t even see the time pass
and you don’t care because this place is huge and beautiful and hey, no other vampires to bump into
but then as you’re about to raise your camera to take a photo of this mural you see when a hand blocks the lens
and oh god the hair on the back of your neck stand up because you’re like,,,,,vampire-
but then when you turn it’s him again,,,,,,,xu minghao
and before you can say much he gives you a sideways smirk and he’s like
“you really like to get yourself into trouble so much?”
and you swallow like wh-what
and he’s like “tours are over. and you’re still here, even when you know vampires are running around?”
you go a bit red in the cheeks but you’re like !!!! “im sorry, ill leave”
but for some reason he doesn’t step aside, he’s just like “it’s fine. you can keep looking but ill stay here in case you run into any of my friends.”
and you can hear that he’s half joking, but then you take a step forward and he falls into place beside you
and you know,,,,,having him there does bring some kind of peace of mind but then fifteen minutes of silence you turn to him and you’re like
“how do i know you’re not luring me to my death?”
and he flicks those pretty eyes at you again and grins
and before you can take your next breath, he grips you in his arms, tilting you sideways and brushing his lips against your neck - the coldness makes you shiver and then
you feel it
the graze of his sharp teeth and your body is practically pressed against his yet,,,,no heartbeat
and you’re like oh GOD WHy c ouldn’t i keep my mouth shut
but just as you squeeze your eyes closed
minghao let’s you go and you drop to the floor in shambles and he’s just chuckling, squatting down beside you on the floor like
“if i wanted you to be my dinner, i would have just done it - don’t you think?”
and you huff and you’re like heY you played a trick on me-
and minghao shrugs like “sorry~ you just looked so vulnerable hehe”
and you swat at him and his eyes widen and he’s like
“look at you - enough courage to even try to hurt a vampire?”
and you’re like “im gonna get up and im gonna chASE You unTil YOU APOLOGIZE” and you do get up and try to jump at him
but minghao just laughs and basically teleports his way down the hall
and you’re like COME BACK
and he’s like hehehe you think you can catch a vampire???
and that’s how you end up trying to chase him down through the halls, once you almost knocked over a vase but minghao was fast enough to catch it - while aLSO STICKING HIS TONGUE OUT AT YOU
and you’re just like frustrated because he’s so fast
and you’re like it’s not fAIR you’re subhuman
and you want to give up but then minghao appears by your side, kissing your cheek faster than lightening and being like “c’mon - i bet you can get me if you try!!”
and you do this till you finally run past an open window and you’re like oH GOD ITs so dark
and minghao appears on the windowsill like you’re right, it is - you should get back to your hotel and you’re like LMAO if i knew how
and he just grins and he’s like “how do you feel about a vampire escorting you?”

Last week, I had my husband's car parked up at work and I was notified that our car was broken into. The passenger side window was smashed and the thief took our GPS unit. I own a small retail store in CT and just received notice that my health insurance (for my family as well as my employees) went up by 23% (!). So my car was scratched up during Hurricane Sandy, it didnt get hit by a tree, just stuff flying all over the place. So I called my car insurance like a good fellow and told them. I have been gathering quotes for car insurance online on confused and was delighted to see the price down at 615 for once as I have been getting car insurance every year since the age 18 and it has always been over 1000. However, just having a quick check over my details to make sure everything I had entered was correct and then I noticed I had ticked the resident from birth box. I was born in Spain as my mother went over there to work and then had me. I was born in 87 and she took me back home in 88 or 89 roughly. (She is a full British citizen born and raised in UK). As I have no contact with my father and I don't even remember being in Spain or nor can I even speak the language well, I feel fully British and also am regarded as a British citizen. My mum also registered me at a british consulate in april 88, just 6 months after I was born. So I put on the form that I became a resident in 1988. I then calculate the prices again and the insurance quotes shoot up with 955 being the cheapest and the rest going up to 1000. I then think back to all the years I have been paying the insurance and building up my no claims and being the perfect driver with no claims despite having to pay the shocking premiums that young people have to pay and this makes me absolutely livid that my insurance goes up by 340 to 400 based on the fact that I was born in Spain and spent 1 year of my life there and the rest of the 23 years as British Citizen raised here. I am just wondering if I could get away with just going ahead and saying that I was a resident from Birth as I have a baby on the way and really wish that my premiums were a reasonable ammount for once or I should go through it and just demand that they bring the premiums down to the 615 like originally quoted!
