i have not. i've been hanging a gallery wall all day, dyking out with my laser level. nor do i ever really see the gaylor discourse these days, tbh. i know it's out there, i just barely follow anyone because i can't be bothered with it quite frankly. i assume it's the same bullshit as always, which is why i reblogged that post cuz it sums up a lot of pain and suffering over the past few years and explains very patiently why it's just plain homophobic to be anti-gaylor for the most part. yes, even if you yourself are an LGBT person. that post will probably always be well timed because homophobia will always run rampant in this fandom!

my stance will always be the same. i've been around for a very long time compared to a lot of what swiftie tumblr is now and it's exhausting to get into it, after having the same conversations for nearly 10 years now on social media. in general, being a swiftie is just not that serious. i'm sorry but she doesn't care about any of this or anyone on here, myself included, so like lmao WHAT is there to fight about. leave me out of it. i'm a lesbian. i make everything gay because i'm gay, including the character of taylor swift as depicted in her songs. i'm attracted to her because she's a hot woman and i'm a lesbian. i make all of that very clear. if you're not having fun with that you can leave, that's my motto.

that question is sparked by me seeing a very obnoxious (i.e. eyestrain to the point of inducing a headache) dni banner that lists "bi lesbians" on it and I look at the person's carrd and they have "anti-neopronoun/xenogender/mogai" listed right underneath "bi lesbians/lesboys/etc and supporters"

and i am just. feeling a little crazy. because i genuinely do not understand this fsdjkl i feel like... if you are supportive of xenogenders then you should understand gender is complex and doesn't line up nicely with sexuality labels sometimes so you have to twist things to make them fit right for you and your internal experience... this is why we have cool labels like cloudgender and stargender and all that fun stuff!! these labels are cool! they are good! so why suddenly are we saying that lesbians and gays who do not fit the traditional "i am solely a woman attracted solely to other only-ever-women" box are wrong and bad ?

i dont want to be saying horrible things bc im misunderstanding or straight up not seeing the issue though, so genuinely if anyone has insight please tell me because im so beyond confused at this point

s2 of shadow & bone is great for a lot of reasons, but a big one imo is that by the end of it... all of the hetero couples are separated in some way for some reason (like travel or death).

the gay couples however?? happy, together, stupidly in love
