Photosynthesis is one of those things that you usually learn about in a simplified way when you're little, that we grow up kinda taking for granted that we "know how that works."
But the process is actually so spine tinglingly bizarre, that if you heard about it for the first time as an adult, you wouldn't even believe it.
Plants are just transmuting light beams into highly complex molecules of sugar. By using the light as a fuckin' battering ram to shatter molecules of water apart. And we're just like "oh yeah, they do that, no big deal" as if that's not a seven layer bizarro dip of what the fuck.

Don't mind me, just thinking about The Owl House again, and getting emotional because it is my favorite show of all time, and I'll never forgive Disney for cancelling it.
"All I've ever really wanted, was to be Understood"
Never in my life have I cried so hard at any piece of media or felt So Seen. This wasn't even the only scene that did it, it was just the most poignant for me.
The entire show is unapologetically queer, neurodivergent, and anti fascist and it's the best thing I have ever seen in my life.
I am so desperate for some other studio to pick this show up. They have so many stories left to tell, and I want to experience them all.
